Okay but a fic where Charles is a driver and Max is the head of PR in his team, and Charles says something in an interview and it causes some drama, and a PR nightmare for poor Max.
Charles goes to Max’s office not even aware of the 3 days worth of work he just created. Max is a bit pissed, and tells Charles to just leave and leave him deal with the mess he caused.
Charles sits next to Carlos on one of the couches, and Carlos says “you really fucked him.”
And Charles pales because, oh no, people got to know about it? So he answers thinking Carlos already knows. “It was only one time, but I hope he will still go out with me after this.”
Carlos is all 😳😮👀 because what? He only meant that Charles really messed up. “Thank you for your confession, but I think you should just not talk today to anyone else today, just to be safe.”
Poor Charles is not on is best streak that day. 😂🤷♀️
All three are currently fighting for dominance. All three want my attention and if I’m not careful all three will merge into a powerful crossover.
Oh no… it happened. Dipper investigating the paranormal activity in Amity park, meanwhile Alex gets sent to investigate Vlad Masters by pretending to be a British high school exchange student at Casper high.
Coran Coran the GORGEOUS Man! I had an idea, what if they started a magazine during the arc with the brain worm? I could so see this happening lol. Should I do a series with all the main and immediate secondary characters. Like Slav, Matt, Kolivan, Krolia, etc?
this is an incomplete thought, but i have a brain worm soooo
so we see faye mark the trees with kratos and she’s sad about it. she puts her hand on the tree with the paint, it glows a little, she pretends to be mortal, we cry at the beautiful dialogue and we move on to the next thing.
what if faye is also putting her life force into the trees? we know she was creating a stave, as we see atreus remake the stave in the same way after the bjorn mini boss fight. he puts his hand on the tree, it glows gold/yellow and the stave is re-secured. but what if faye was adding more than just protection?
faye knew she wouldn’t be on the journey with kratos & atreus, she knew her story ended before their journey began. according to mimir in 2018, fimbulwinter wasn’t prophesied to happens for another hundred years. the killing of baldur sped up that timeline. baldur couldn’t have found the cottage without the breaking of the stave. the stave couldn’t be broken until faye’s funeral. etc. etc.
and there’s the line, “you once tried to take charge of your own ending.” so if faye knew she was going to die, did she choose when she was going to die? did she choose when her death would happen to change fate? if she had let nature take its course, would things have turned out the same? if atreus was younger, he’d simply be too young to even survive the journey. if older would the journey have shaped him as much? would kratos have been too absent a father if atreus was older and still mostly being raised by his mother? he’d still be too set in his ways to change the ragnarök prophecy and what was foreseen would have come to pass.
tl,dr: faye put her life force into the stave to jump start The Journey. she saw their future & knew she had to do something.
I haven't read the comics yet, so if I'm overwriting canon here, ignore it. But I just had this brain worm about the Endless as siblings.
So, first was Destiny, right, and he took to his function easily. Perks of being Destiny, I guess. Then Death came to exist when Life was born, and when the first living form died, she got to lead them to the Sunless Lands. Life was small and peaceful back then.
It changed when Life started dreaming, aching for more, creating more. Dream was born. It was nice. Dream had no reason to despise his function. Every new dream and nightmare made him more powerful, bigger. Perhaps he literally grew with the dreams, as Life dreamt about new adventures, new comforts, and new fears every night, he grew from a giggly toddler into a child, then into a teenager when Life's dreams started taking different paths. One wanted that and other wanted something else, each of them dreaming strong.
Destruction was born. Life started fighting, destroying things that they so painstakingly created under Dream's influence. He didn't blame his younger brother for that, who at that point was just a toddler throwing toy blocks at the wall and laughing when they made a noise. Dream blamed himself, because he believed that his dreams and nightmares have led Life to Destruction. He withdrew himself.
Death and Destiny rushed to help. Dream believed himself responsible for destruction, but that was not how it worked. Destiny reminded Dream that Destruction was born because he was meant to be born, just like three more sibling were yet meant to be. Death pointed out that without him, Life was miserable. Life found satisfaction in Destruction, but not true fulfillment. They needed Dream to drive them and they needed Nightmare to help them grow. Destruction both destroyed and created, but without dreams, there was not much that was worth creating.
So, Dream became the older brother that he was meant to be. Soon, all four siblings were working together, protecting Life, nurturing it, being there for each other. And when Life grew even more, outgrew its current world, Desire and Despair were born, and when new struggles were overcome, Delight. All of the siblings had a strong bond, because they were incomplete without each other. For a long time, they were one happy family, but then, as we know, Desire and Dream drifted apart. The bond was not as strong as his bond with Destiny and Death, who helped him find and understand his purpose when he needed them, and Destruction, his beloved little brother who he would protect forever.
my Spotify Wrapped is about to be so many short songs like this one because they get in my head and I end up listening to them like 20+ times in a row to squeeze as much dopamine out of them as I can.
