The new, updated Silver Kamen (in his two different outfits) from the film BraveStorm (2017).

As much as I wanted to like this film, let me just say that this outfit, and the small cameo role Mitsu Dan has, are the only good things about it.

"You claim to be here as rogue traders, with no association to the Imperium and their zealotry. For that, I am relieved. But... your ship." he points to the screen to indicate the ship interior behind Triko. "It is of T'au making. You claim to not be here on the Imperium's side, but what of the T'au Empire? Have the Ethereals snared you with their lies, as well?"

"Commander, I sincerely ask that we consider his deal. Our Earth-Caste division have been lacking resources for advanced repairs for a while now, and Bravestorm needs urgent repairs on his Iridium Battlesuit."

It was O'Vesa's voice that caused Farsight to halt his judgment of Triko. He sighs deeply. Bravestorm was in critical condition, indeed. And they did not have enough resources to maintain his Iridium Battlesuit.

"... Land, and we shall talk. Face to face."

Huh, interesting Tau lore. In the novel Blades of Damocles, we see the first Tau to discover what a Dreadnought actually is, react with horror as they learn that the human variant inside is over 6000 years old - older than the Tau's entire civilization That Tau? It's Bravestorm! Like, Commander Bravestorm, who eventually becomes a "Tau Dreadnought" himself, becoming hooked up to a life support system in his experimental heavy Battlesuit. It mirrors. That's cool.

The Getter Robo live action feature film met both its Kickstarters to create a proof of concept teaser.

The Getter film teaser will apparently be ready next year with the film proper aiming for 2025. I could easily see them shopping this to streamers for more funding with the proof of concept. Note it’s an all Japanese staff, the director of Bravestorm, veteran manga authors as screenwriters from works such as Gundam Thunderbolt and Ninja Slayer, and the mechanical designer from the director’s previous work Bravestorm, as well as the Front Mission games.

Got this from Amazon today! (And I could have bought it at work for about the same price. Oh well.)

Be warned; there is a dub and it's really bad. There's no audio option on the main menu, so you have to switch it during the opening. Of course, if you want to watch the dub for the cringe, it will deliver.

Otherwise, a fun movie. I mean, the effects look twenty years old and it's cheesy as all hell, but fun. Hope that sequel tease at the end does come true. Recommend only to die-hard Toku fanboys and lovers of cheesy, low-budget schlock.

Others have pointed out that 2 of the Crisis Suits used for this promo-shot are actually 2 other members of “The Eight”, specifically Torchstar on the left (tomboy pyromaniac), and Brightsword above Farsight (Fusion Blade wielding clone).

The one on the right might be Bravestorm (Onagaer Gauntlet dude who is basically a dreadnaught) or Sha’vastos (the one who got his brain scrambled by the Neurochip program, but got fixed later), but they use flamers instead of burst cannons, so???????????

....

Might just be that these are just models GW had on hand that matched Farsight’s colour scheme, but interesting trivia.
