200204: it's been a while since i posted here but i'm glad to be back! i think my last post was when I was still in highschool but now i'm finally in my second sem of my first year in college. first sem really challenged me academically and i think i've grown so much since then. my study habits are much different and better from before and i've finally gotten used to the demands of my course. college really changes people . anyway! here are some pics of my planner and kinesiology notes which I have yet to finish. :>

here's the second spread of the year!! im trying something a bit different with the editing style hehe, tell me what u think abt it!! classes have just started for me and profs are giving off assignments right off the bat so thats smthn!! im slightly bummed out that i wasnt able to enlist into my last subject due to lack of slots but at least my load would not be as heavy as my last semester. hopefully this time ill be able to focus on my subjects more and on ACTUALLY learning and not just forcing info in my head.

hi yall! welcome to my first original post in a long, long time 🌿 also, welcome to a new year and a new semester! as I enter my senior year of college, my life is becoming exponentially more hectic, meaning that this planner will be my best friend now more than ever 📖 I’d like to do a little life update since it’s been so long, so here we go:

• My name is Shelby, I’m 21, and I’m a senior studying agricultural science with minors in horticulture and crop science

• I work as an usher at my university’s theatre and also as a research assistant in a sweet potato breeding and genetics lab

• This semester, I’ll be taking professional presentations in agriculture, organizational leadership in agriculture, integrated pest management, advanced agroecology, and current social problems

• As part of my department’s leadership and justice scholars program, I’m working on writing legislation and planning public education events to promote and protect H-2A visa workers here in my home state

• I’m planning on graduating in December 2020 and will be applying to grad school in fall 2021, either in my current university’s crop science department or horticulture department

• My new year’s resolutions include eating healthier, incorporating structured exercise into my schedule, and making time to read more!
