The 3rd years in Daycare Sekai as Brandon Rogers' Concerned Mother video.
Or basically what if the 3rd years sanity went off rails because of 13 children.
TW : Vulgar words and lots and lots of swearing under the cut
“We’re just gonna have breakfast for lunch and lunch for dinner, everyone have coffee cause dinner’s happening at 3 in the morning!” - Mafuyu
"No you can't have milk on Taco's Tuesday. Because it's not Mexican, NOW EAT YOUR DORITOES" - Tsukasa
"I don't have a favorite child. I do have a least favorite, and it's the youngest" - Airi
"C'mon make me wanna be your mom!" - Ena
"I love that Ellen. She's not a bad lesbian" - Shizuku
"Now you're gonna shut up and eat this like it's ass" - Ena
"Which of you kids came in my casserole" - Mafuyu
"Samantha (Emu, Minori, An, Mizuki) i need you to get out of the toilet, mama's (papa) going to ground. Fuck it, i'm squeezing you outta passenger" - Rui
"Mom (Mafuyu) i need help. I passed out and they put me in a dino costume, and then they put me in the pool (Shower)" - Kanade
"Jesus you throw gayer than your father!" - Shizuku
"That's it you lost toiler paper privileges, have fun getting creative" - Airi
"MAMA'S (papa) GONNA START COOKING DIN-DIN AT T-MINUS 5 SECONDS. I NEED THE KITCHEN EVACUATED FOR ONE HOUR. EVACUATE THE KITCHEN!!!!!!!" - Tsukasa
"C'mon we're going on a casserole drive-by" - Mafuyu
"Honk at me one more time. I will grow a d*ck and fuck you" - Rui

Hi! It's me again, haha!
Question/Request regarding Sawyer and Brick's kids - (if you've already done this please just ignore me lol) but can we get a little bio on each of them? They are all so cute and I'd love to know more like their likes/dislikes, fave parent, fave foods, what they like to play/do in their free time - and any other lil' details you'd like to share. I know they're young, but I'd love to know more of them .. They are ALL so cute and man, Brick's genes run strong! LOL
Anyways, I love you.
Hi lovely 👋 I love this question so much, thank you!! Those genes really DO run strong, don't they?! 😆
A little info on each of Brick and Sawyer's kiddos:
Tumblr media
Gerbit Darling
For those who don't know, Gerbit seems to mean "llama" in simlish. He's pretty much named after this cheer, which is incredibly near and dear to my heart 🥺 I wanted all of Brick and Sawyer's kids to have very classic sims names!
Gerbit is the first Gen 5 Darling, Brick and Sawyer's oldest child, and was born pretty early into Brick and Sawyer's relationship, when the two were very young and hadn't been dating long. Sawyer just left university early, and Brick just got out of jail and cancelled on the internet, losing his celebrity status as an influencer. Despite life being up in the air for the couple, Brick and Sawyer were hopeful when Gerbit was born, he was their little beacon of light ❤
Just like Brick, Gerbit isn't very gifted intellectually. However, he makes up for this with his heart of gold. He's a very sweet boy and enjoys visiting his grandparents more than anywhere else. His relatives think he'll become a family sim for sure. He's not great at making friends quite yet, but his closest friends are his cousin Minnow, and distant cousin Budgie Sparrow. (Birdie's youngest)
When it comes to Gerbit's interests, he enjoys watching heavy machinery, such as planes, trains, cranes, bulldozers, and excavators. He looooves to eat and has the glutton trait. His favorite thing to eat is Taco Casserole, but only if it's made by Grandma Donna! Like his other siblings, he loves his dad but doesn't see him much so he's a lot closer to Mom.
Belo Darling
Tumblr media
Belo, the middle child, is named after the Belomisia Jungle in Selvadorada, to honor Sawyer's heritage.
Out of the three kids, Belo takes the most after his mom in personality, although he seems to have inherited his father's lack of intelligence, similar Gerbit. He has the angelic trait but does seem to have a short temper like Dad. However, he displays his attitude in mannerisms similar to Sawyer, with sassy eyerolls and pursing his lips in disapproval.
Belo looks up to his big brother and usually tries to emulate his behavior. If Gerbit misbehaves, Belo will too. But if Gerbit is a good boy, which is usually the case, Belo follows his lead. Belo didn't grow his first tooth or say his first word until after 18 months old. He still isn't very advanced at speaking, and the speech he does use has an impediment, he's unable to pronounce his "R"s.
He loves singing, most sports, especially baseball and football (both Simerican and real), and experimenting with Mom's makeup, which can usually be found scattered on the bathroom, livingroom, or bedroom floor. He often consumes and prefers processed foods such as microwaved chicken nuggets, microwaved breakfast burritos, and animal crackers.
Rosebud Darling
Tumblr media
Baby Rosie, or Rosebud, is Brick and Sawyer's youngest and only daughter. She is biologically Brick's, conceived from Zoe Flores's and Brick's scandalous and juiced session that they shared in a hot tub at a party in Del Sol Valley. Most of us know the dramatic story, but basically, Zoe and her boyfriend Drew's relationship could not withstand the burden of raising another man's child, and Zoe forfeited her rights to Brick's side, and Sawyer ended up adopting her for full custody.
Despite being thrown into quite the chaotic storyline, she's always been such a happy and social baby, who just goes with the flow. She also has the angelic trait, and loves to cuddle and be carried. Being a Darling and being surrounded by the hustle and bustle of Evergreen Harbor, she's constantly surrounded by loud sounds, which she has fully embraced, and always can be kept content by playing sound for her. Like Belo, she also loves singing! When she was a baby, Sawyer's Dad and Stepmom brought fresh avocado and papaya grown from their property in Selvadorada for her to try, and she's been hooked ever since.

This week was intense and I was looking forward to some down time, this introvert needs her batteries recharged. K my bff from Seattle is here for a conference. She planned to spend the night Sunday so I’d planned for Sunday to be a social day where we went to the museum and hung out. So last night I was surprised when she texted , very drunk, and wanted to come hang out. I buzzed her in, we had a dance party and then talked intensely - at times sharply - about life. She challenges me like no one else does, and sometimes she’s mean but she’s almost always right. So I yelled at her for seven seconds and then listened.
She spent the night and we got up around 7am for coffee, as she had her conference again today. I settled in for a nap after she left, when she texted to say her nephew and his kids are coming with her tomorrow morning. Ok. At least I have today.
And then got a text from my co-worker S who said “excited to see you later!”
I remembered I’d invited he and his partner over. Ugh. My house is clean but not co-worker clean so I’ve been shopping, cleaning and errand-running for hours.
So I’m showered and prepped, drinking ice tea, grateful that I have a baseline of tidiness now and I really didn’t have to do all of that. I have a yummy breakfast casserole for brunch tomorrow.
*flash forward*
They just left. I made cocktails like a grown up, and we ordered tacos and French fries and talked mad shit about work and life. Me hosting people in my space after so many years of hiding how/where I lived is so important.

got really high last night and wanted to cook something so I made this horrid breakfast taco thing with eggs and green bean casserole. 7/10 definitely not the worst thing I've cooked on a whim.

Wellness Wednesday:
Back To Reality
I will admit that it felt uneasy taking a week long Thanksgiving vacation from work, but once I got in the thick of lounging around I didn't give work a second thought.
What did I do?
Not much - and it was spectacular!
I only left my hideaway twice - once for snacks and once for entertainment - the rest of the week was jam packed with lounging and gaming (VR and Boardgames).
I ended up leaving my vacation dreading going back to work and slightly addicted to VR gaming.
Oh! And one other note - one side effect from losing weight that I discovered - apparently I lost all the good cushioning in my butt and now I can't handle sitting in a car longer than 2 hours. My rear end was killing me - absolute worst part of the vacation - and to be honest there could have been worse things.

Closing Thoughts:
The Good:
I had a nice relaxing week away from work.
Caught up on some reading and actually finished two books on top of a stack of comics.
The Bad:
Neglected some chores during my time off and now I have some cleaning/tidying up to do.
The Ugly:
Although my week was relaxing - my sleep schedule was definitely thrown for a tailspin. Been lowkey exhausted all week and have been haphazardly falling asleep randomly in the middle of the day.

Note
cheap food anon. dinner is either curry, chili, or soup. Chicken, tomato, onion are usually involved. lunch is salads and wraps. usually lettuce, chickpeas, cucumber. breakfast is attempted but rarely eaten, eggs or oatmeal. I know rice and beans is go to cheap meal but lord is it boring. Smoothies sometimes
Beans and rice does indeed get boring fast.
One of my go-tos is ground sausage, the kind that comes in a little one pound tube. I get it for $2.25 at Aldi but you can get it for $3-4 at other stores. It can do anything ground beef can, for cheaper. You can make it last many meals by mixing with plant protein (like beans for tacos or lentils in a ragu sauce), and it will still add so much flavor and texture.
I would also recommend shredded chicken. Works well with the cheapest cuts, like whole leg quarters; just throw them in a slow cooker (or a covered baking dish in a 225F oven) for 6ish hours. Shred up. Put some in the freezer for later. Use for tacos, wraps, fried rice, salads, casseroles, stews, pizzas, quesadillas, etc.
For cheese, opt for "extra sharp" cheddar, you only need a little to add a lot of flavor (compared to mild cheeses) so they stretch.
Frozen vegetables are a great resource too. I can usually get a pack of peas or broccoli for under a dollar each. Kale and spinach are often very cheap fresh; they can be eaten raw or cooked, so I throw them into all my soups and sauces. Button mushrooms are also inexpensive. Sweet potatoes make GREAT homefries.
If dairy is an option, you can make creamy soups/sauces with a roux. Good with pasta, you can make a rich and hearty mac and cheese too.
It doesn't sound like you do much Asian cuisine? Stir-fried chicken and vegetables (carrots, cabbage, bell pepper) over rice is an economical, easy meal. You only really need soy sauce and a little fresh ginger root to get the flavor profile.
Homemade baked falafels over salad with some sour cream or homemade tzaziki sauce would be a different spin on your usual lunch. Try it with quick-pickled onions (legit just throw chopped red onion in 1/3 white vinegar and 2/3 hot water mix, let sit in the fridge at least 20 min).
Lentil Bologense over mashed potatoes is the cooler older sister of beans and rice.
Quiche is a tasty way to use up any leftover bits of meat, cheese, and veggies. If you don't have cream, try subbing for evaporated milk.
Try canned cannellini beans roughly smushed in a bowl with garlic, salt, black pepper, and olive oil: spread on some toast and top with fresh tomatoes, fresh cilantro, and a healthy squeeze of lime juice. Spinach would be good too.
Black-eye beans, corn, fresh tomatoes, red onion, bell pepper, and cilantro tossed in olive oil and balsamic ("cowboy caviar") is great with corn chips.
Also, quickbreads are your friends!! Cornbread is super easy to make and goes so well with chili and stews. And just good snacking.
I hope at least some of this helped or at least gave inspiration!! It's well passed my bedtime so I gotta leave it there for now. :( Feel free to ask for more advice if there's something in particular you are struggling with!

Vegan Ground Sausage
Use it for breakfast recipes, in casseroles, soups, salads and more. You can even change up the seasoning a bit and turn this into taco meat!

My mom, and her mom, were and are great cooks, but we were also very much the kind of family that relied on basic (and essentially timeless) recipes, and my grandma was born around the 1920s, and my mom was born at the beginning of the 60s.
Both my mom and her mom worked full-time and raised multiple kids (and my mom lost her dad when she was young, so my great-aunt who I've mentioned before many times, moved in to help raise her and her four brothers) and so they needed affordable, filling, easy recipes.
Which meant we had a lot of meatloaf (with fries or potatoes of some kind, and if we were feeling fancy or wanted to stretch it, with cheese and sliced ham in the center), casseroles of all kind (to this day I still crave her tuna casserole, which is basically canned tuna, white sauce - canned white sauce pre-my dad's celiac - and crushed potato chips for the topping and in the mix? I don't think there was any pasta or noodles involved), grilled hot dogs and hamburgers (the latter with 80/20 ground beef, ketchup or bbq sauce, and onion soup mix or other seasonings) with fries (and steak or pork chops or chicken if we wanted to step it up a bit), breakfast for dinner during lent or when not wanting to do too much (so pancakes and scrambled eggs and bacon or sausage), tacos and burritos (seasoned ground beef or shredded chicken or, if my dad was feeling it, carnitas, with tortillas and taco shells and cheese and other toppings), big things of baked pastas (and just regular cooked pasta), chili (sometimes with cornbread or french bread) and the infamous hamburger rice - which is basically ground beef and onions in a tomato sauce (homemade/from scratch if so inclined but otherwise canned or jarred) with canned corn and a fuckton of rice, mixed together (sometimes baked but otherwise just a big pot of rice mixed with a beefy tomato sauce and canned corn and onions) and with cheese sprinked on or included. (This is the dish we ate a ton because of my dad's celiac and because it was cheap, quick, and easy, and it's why I have to fight to get over my avoidance of rice dishes to this day).
My mom's potato salad (and macaroni salad, since the only difference is whether you use potatoes or noodles) is basically just potatoes (or noodles) parboiled and then cubed, mixed with onion, pimento, mayo, ketchup, mustard, a small amount of paprika, and salt and pepper - and I also crave it to this day. (When I was an infant I once ended up in the trunk of my parents' car and proceeded to help myself to the bowl that was there for the picnic the family was having at Kennedy Grove.
That's not all we ate (because it was the 90s and early 2000s, and both me and my mom love chinese takeout and prime rib, and because there is always some evolution and differentiation) but that was basically what we had, and it was pretty much what she had when she was growing up too, so we basically ate mid-century meals well into the beginning of the 21st century.

Ingredients
Gather all the necessary ingredients for making delicious homemade refried beans right in the comfort of your own kitchen. With just a few simple ingredients, you can create a flavorful and satisfying dish that will impress your family and friends. Here's what you'll need: - 2 cups of dried pinto beans - 1 onion, diced - 4 cloves of garlic, minced - 2 tablespoons of vegetable oil - 1 teaspoon of cumin - 1 teaspoon of paprika - 1 teaspoon of salt - 1/2 teaspoon of black pepper - 4 cups of water - Soaking the Beans: Before cooking the beans, it is important to soak them to ensure they cook evenly and become tender. Start by rinsing the beans under cold water to remove any dirt or debris. Then, place the beans in a large bowl and cover them with water. Allow the beans to soak overnight or for at least 8 hours. This will help soften the beans and reduce their cooking time. - Cooking the Beans: Once the beans have finished soaking, drain and rinse them again. Transfer the beans to a large pot and cover them with fresh water. Bring the water to a boil over medium-high heat, then reduce the heat to low and let the beans simmer for about 1 to 2 hours, or until they are tender. You can test the beans by pressing them between your fingers to see if they are soft. - Sautéing the Onion and Garlic: In a separate pan, heat some oil over medium heat. Add finely chopped onion and minced garlic to the pan and sauté them until they become fragrant and translucent. This step adds extra flavor to the refried beans. - Mashing the Beans: Once the beans are cooked, drain them and transfer them to the pan with the sautéed onion and garlic. Using a potato masher or the back of a spoon, mash the beans until they reach your desired consistency. Some people prefer a smoother texture, while others like their refried beans to be chunky. - Seasoning: Season the mashed beans with salt and pepper to taste. You can also add additional spices and herbs, such as cumin or cilantro, to enhance the flavor. Mix well to ensure the seasoning is evenly distributed throughout the beans. - Stovetop Method: This is the most common and straightforward way to cook beans. Simply place the soaked beans in a large pot, cover them with water, and bring to a boil. Reduce the heat to a simmer and let them cook for about 1 to 2 hours, or until they are soft and easily mashed with a fork. - Pressure Cooker: If you're short on time, using a pressure cooker can significantly speed up the cooking process. Place the soaked beans and water in the pressure cooker, following the manufacturer's instructions, and cook them for about 20 to 30 minutes. The high pressure helps to break down the beans quickly, resulting in tender and creamy refried beans. - Slow Cooker: For a hands-off approach, you can use a slow cooker to cook the soaked beans. Simply transfer the beans and water to the slow cooker, set it to low heat, and let them cook for 6 to 8 hours. This method allows the beans to slowly simmer and develop a rich, deep flavor. - Classic Side Dish: Refried beans are a staple in Mexican cuisine and make a perfect side dish for tacos, enchiladas, or burritos. Serve them alongside your favorite Mexican dishes for a delicious and authentic meal. - Bean Dip: Transform your refried beans into a crowd-pleasing dip by adding some cheese, salsa, and spices. Serve it with tortilla chips or vegetable sticks for a tasty appetizer at parties or gatherings. - Bean and Rice Bowl: Create a wholesome and satisfying meal by combining refried beans with cooked rice. Top it with your favorite toppings like avocado, salsa, sour cream, and cilantro for a flavorful and filling bowl. - Bean Tacos: Use refried beans as a delicious and protein-packed filling for your tacos. Load them up with your choice of toppings like shredded lettuce, diced tomatoes, cheese, and salsa for a tasty and satisfying meal. - Bean Quesadillas: Spread a generous amount of refried beans on a tortilla, top it with cheese, and fold it in half. Cook it on a skillet until the cheese is melted and the tortilla is crispy. Serve it with salsa and guacamole for a quick and easy meal. - Bean Soup: Add a creamy and hearty element to your soups by incorporating refried beans. They will not only enhance the flavor but also add a velvety texture to your favorite soup recipes. - Tacos: Refried beans are a classic filling for tacos, adding both flavor and creaminess. - Burritos: Wrap up refried beans, rice, cheese, and your choice of protein in a tortilla for a satisfying and filling burrito. - Nachos: A plate of crispy tortilla chips topped with melted cheese, jalapenos, and refried beans is the ultimate crowd-pleaser. - Bean Dip: Whip up a quick and delicious bean dip by combining refried beans with sour cream, salsa, and a sprinkle of cheese. Serve it with tortilla chips or vegetable sticks for a flavorful appetizer or snack. - Bean Quesadillas: Spread a layer of refried beans on a tortilla, top with shredded cheese, and fold it in half. Cook it on a skillet until the cheese is melted and the tortilla is crispy. Cut it into wedges and serve with salsa and guacamole for a tasty and satisfying meal. - Bean Enchiladas: Roll up refried beans in corn tortillas, place them in a baking dish, and cover with enchilada sauce and cheese. Bake until the cheese is bubbly and golden. Serve with rice and a fresh salad for a hearty and flavorful dinner. - Bean Soup: Add a dollop of refried beans to your favorite vegetable or chicken soup for an extra creamy and flavorful twist. The beans will thicken the soup and add a rich and satisfying texture. - Bean Burger: Mix refried beans with breadcrumbs, spices, and chopped vegetables to create a flavorful vegetarian bean burger. Grill or pan-fry the patties until golden and serve on a bun with your favorite toppings. - Can I use canned beans instead of dried beans? Yes, you can use canned beans as a shortcut. However, keep in mind that the flavor and texture may not be the same as using dried beans. - How long should I soak the beans? It is recommended to soak the beans overnight for about 8 hours. This helps to soften the beans and reduce cooking time. - Can I skip soaking the beans? Soaking the beans is important as it helps to remove some of the indigestible sugars, making them easier to digest. It also helps to shorten the cooking time. However, if you're short on time, you can skip soaking and cook the beans for a longer period. - What is the best method for cooking the soaked beans? There are a few methods you can choose from. You can cook the soaked beans on the stovetop in a pot of water, use a pressure cooker for faster cooking, or even use a slow cooker for convenience. The choice depends on your preference and available equipment. - Can I freeze the refried beans? Yes, refried beans can be frozen for future use. Allow them to cool completely, then transfer to airtight containers or freezer bags. They can be stored in the freezer for up to 3 months. Thaw in the refrigerator before reheating. - What can I serve with refried beans? Refried beans are a versatile side dish that pairs well with many Mexican dishes. They can be served as a filling for tacos, burritos, or enchiladas. They also make a great accompaniment to rice, grilled meats, or as a dip with tortilla chips. - Are refried beans spicy? Refried beans can be mild or spicy depending on the recipe. If you prefer spicier beans, you can add jalapenos, chili powder, or other spices to the sautéed onion and garlic. - Can I customize the consistency of the refried beans? Absolutely! The consistency of refried beans can be adjusted to your liking. If you prefer a smoother texture, you can use a blender or food processor to puree the beans.
