Sudah jadi kebiasaan bagi kami untuk berbincang singkat selepas sarapan pagi. Kami membahas apa saja yang bisa dibahas, sesekali curhat. Karena Ibuku bilang, meja makan adalah majelis dalam keluarga.

Tadi malam, selepas pertemuan yang dijanjikan itu, akupun menceritakan yang terjadi. Tentu, orangtuaku heran mengapa aku seperti membatasi sesuatu. Tentu, aku tak bisa bilang tentang seseorang yang lain itu.

Tapi daripada semakin rumit, akupun akhirnya mengaku tentang seseorang itu. Tentang bagaimana, sejak kapan, dan apa yang aku rasakan.

Hingga hari berganti, jam menunjukkan pukul 2 pagi, barulah kami menuju peraduan masing-masing. Adikku sedang tidak di rumah, hanya kami bertiga di ruang tengah. Dari posisi duduk di kursi, aku sampai melorot melantai. Malam tadi airmataku sudah menetes. Kupikir selesai sampai disitu.

Pagi ini selepas sarapan, Ayah membuka kata-kata melanjutkan pembahasan tadi malam. Aku tau, pasti perkara itu yang mereka persoalkan. Ya, akupun paham perasaan khawatir sepasang orangtua yang beranjak menua.

Airmataku bergerak lincah, melewati relung-relung perasaanku dan juga perasaan keduanya. Ayah mengusap mata, aku tahu dia menahan tangis dan memikirkan sesuatu.

Sampailah kami pada pembahasan itu, tentang sebuah trauma yang kusimpan bertahun-tahun lamanya. Ayahku menyesalkan, kenapa baru sekarang aku katakan, tanpa mereka tahu sekuat itu aku berjuang melawan.

Sungguh penuh derai airmata.

Hingga pada saat jarum jam menunjukkan angka 9, Ayah beranjak bangkit dan menyimpulkan. Kupikir akan selesai begini saja. Ayah mendekatiku yang masih duduk, ia cium kepalaku. Aku berdiri menyambut, memeluk dadanya yang lebar. Kami menempelkan pipi, dia menangis seperti halnya aku. Dia menyesalkan rahasia 9 tahun yang berasal dari 25 tahun lalu itu. Dia bilang aku salah. Aku akui aku salah, dan akan kuperbaiki, kataku.

Begitulah sebuah bincang pagi kami hari ini.
