hi, okay, so, literally no one asked for this, but while I’m working on some actual art to post on here, I’m just gonna..... share this.... thing.
SO, a few months back, I got into a heated debate about who to cast as the one-and-only Lelouch in a live Code Geass adaptation & my fixation on this question got... a bit out of hand. the culmination of this was me spending hours trying to cast just nearly everyone for the entire series during a weeb manic fugue state.
now, you may be saying - emily, you’ve got some big budget actors here in pretty secondary roles! what are you thinking?? BUT this is all imagining that I personally were the showrunner & the casting director & that this was a world where budget was apparently no issue because I’d geass’d the donors into sharing their full life’s earnings, and, on top of all this, yes, we could in fact also afford to render all the mechs! don’t ask questions. It’s My Fancast & I Can Run the Studio Into Unsalvageable Debt If I Want To!
....&anyway, thought I’d share this for anyone who cares or had their own fan-castings in mind, or else just wanted to bear witness my madness.
(thing is, I put this together in spite of myself, being someone who 99% of the time does NOT care for live-action adaptations to perfectly good animations.... BUT, in a world where all the loving work of adapting was my own... well, I just had to know.)

just watched a video essay/retrospective about steven universe and man. i miss the like, golden age of su. that show had a ton of flaws but you have to hand it to them, there were some extremely well-foreshadowed reveals and tons of background details that had very good payoff. it was a good time to be a fan theorist

feels kinda weird to say but i actually enjoyed work quite a bit today and that's after waking up with a migraine and sleep debt! honestly brewery work is such a tasty combination between food science, chemistry, physics, engineering, physical labor and sensation, and the distro stuff i was doing as a trucker like. i genuinely will probably look for brewery work where/whenever i move..
i was supposed to be doing the cleaning task that involves moving ~36 40lb crocks up and down ladders today which is easily the days i dread the most (roughly monthly) but half an hour in, the production manager was like. hey. ik we've been meaning to train you on this other shit for weeks. how about you do that while i fill your spot. so instead i filled kegs then learned to wash the huge tanks, refit all their hardware, pump over fresh product, clean the barrels, and then! on top of it all my other manager was like "hey you said you wanted to learn the forklift right 😏" which I've wanted to do for YEARS like UHH FUCK YEAH.. literally went out into the parking lot and did donuts and moved a ton of pallets and was such a natural at it 💅
dw i'm still sore and covered in sugar and chemicals and sweat and bedlocked and now more than ever i need a raise but i'll prolly be doing more of this stuff which is so so satisfying mentally physically and autistically. and working at a co-op really is such a relief even if it's not the best one. like everyone cares about helping each other and making work easier (more than anywhere i've ever seen) and like. actually making delicious beverages. and experimenting! like every week someone is trying out a new method to see if they can reduce the labor/waste in our processes and all this shit gets documented when successful. it is kinda cool tbqh. i mean i did just spend 10+min rant 3 long paragraphs abt it on a whim

If ever you’re doing an elder scrolls themed dnd and want to play a bosmer (wood elf) just combine the dnd wood elf traits and the halfling traits and add and subtract to suit your character build. Male wood elves stand about 5”9 but they’re practically halflings compared to other races in tambriel, high elves through to aldmer and ayleids stood anywhere between 6ft to 8ft tall by divine accounts especially if we’re taking about Demi gods like malacath.
My dm allows us to add a +10 to Health and stamina whenever a bosmer consumes human or elven flesh due to the green pact but if you want to leave out the cannibalism I can’t say I’d blame you.
Why do I bring this up?
We found a bosmer stuck in a trap and it turns out he’s the main servant of sheogorath. And he’s comically short compared to the rest of our party lol.
