Tokyo Mew Mew OOAK

Ever since I started making custom dolls 5-6 years ago I always wanted to make a a complete set of the Mew Mews. I’m glad I didn’t jump into them right away because I know the dolls would of suffered because of my lack of experience. With the release of Tokyo Mew Mew New I finally decided no time would be better than now to make these. 

For more of my ramblings about the dolls look below the cut.

I’ve looked to see any other customizers have done all the girls and I haven’t seen anyone do it yet(or maybe I didn’t look hard enough?). 

I used Ever After High dolls for these. Mint, Pudding and Ringo use the short body type and Zakuro uses the taller body. Thought I’d point that out case the way I have these set up it’s kinda hard to tell that the girls are different heights. 

Ichigo does have curly hair in the back but it’s impossible to see with these pics. It’s also impossible to see her Mew mark but it is there. Her tail is also posable! 

Zakuro doesn’t have boots and instead I tried to paint a pair of heels the same color as the fabric to give the ‘illusion’ she’s in boots. I just couldn’t make a good pair of thigh highs so I improvised. 

I photoshopped the Ringo character cd and strategy guide behind Ringo cause I didn’t have anything with her on it. I hope it’s not to distracting. Also Ringo makes for such a precious doll!!

1. Do you have a fun fancast for Elain and Azriel and if so, who?

2. Where did your mind come up with this beautiful story?

3. Did know you deserve everything the world has to offer?

I also want to share with you that my favorite part of the most recent chapter was probably Azriel carving the little sculpture with truth teller. I know Elain was close with her father and he used to carve things during their time in the cabin. I’m not sure if you’ve done it intentionally but it’s such a sweet node to her father and I love it. I know papa Archeron failed them but I also know being a parent isn’t easy. He’s one of the most human characters SJM has ever written (along side Elain and Nesta). The fact that a hobby that Az openly partakes in also woodcarving is sweet.

Anon, I love these questions and thank you for asking them!

1. My headcannons for these two may be slightly divergent from the series. In my mind Elain leans towards brunette with strong brows not unlike bridget satterlee but with big wavy hair. She's around 5'7, with fuller hips/thighs and smaller bust than her sisters. Her hands are nearly as scarred as Az's from years of gardening.

Azriel has straight up curls in my mind for whatever reason. Xavier Serrano is a close one for me. As I've mentioned I see him more lean muscle than bulk, and he's lighter on his feet than either of his brothers. He also has much fuller lips in my mind. He fights with more finesse and less raw strength, prefers two handed weaponry- a dagger and shortsword to a longsword. I would love for the actors playing the bat boys in the series to be Israeli honestly, I think they are the most beautiful men in the world. But the show stresses me out so I'm choosing to believe it's not happening.

2. This story came to me as I was re-reading acotar for the first time since 2020 and began to develop very specific headcanons about Elain having earth magic tied to her Sight and solid lore connecting the two. I also wanted her to be trained by a female instead of another dude and not as a warrior, hence the Oracle. I'm not a huge fanfiction reader (admittedly pretty damn particular about them) so mostly I just decided to write my own story to satisfy the itch I couldn't find. I have always loved Elain. I think she's very understated in the series, but we have a lot in common. I too am a verdant loving softspoken femme with quiet strength. I love writing Elain and Az because not unlike them, I think a lot more than I speak, and there's a world underneath people are unaware of. My relationships are also constantly laced with unspoken, quiet delicacies. It is probably why so much of this story leans on internal monologue. SO much of the italics are things I have literally thought in my own relationships and never spoken aloud.

Another inevitable battle lost.

3. I don't deserve anything but these sorts of asks just make my whole week and are so fun. Good catch on Azriel's carving! There is definitely a parallel there between Az and her father that will be revealed next chapter. He always has a knife on him, so wood carving seemed like a natural hobby for soft shadowboi. I love each of you for even reading this damn thing. As a new writer the whole process is rather frightening I never imagined anyone would even really see it. XOXO.

The more I "unlock" classic themes in Strive, the more nostalgic I feel about the game.

Some scenarios are new, while others bring back nostalgia for some situations.

Like running around in a Verdant forest with Bridget (Fairy Forest Factory) to the music of "A Simple Life".

Trudging along with A.B.A. in Asuka's Laboratory (Tir na Nog) to the tune of "Quicksilver".

Walking slowly along with Potemkin in a Construction Site (White House Reborn) to his classic tune "Burly Heart".

And now, more recently, playing around with Jack-O' in the new stage that just came out (formerly known as Heaven's Edge) to her character theme of "Juno".

Or even having Johnny do the rounds next to the Mayship to the tune of "Liquor, Bar, and Drunkard".

So many sights, so many stages, so many tiny little elements bring back memories of the days I played Accent Core when there was nothing ELSE to do (before Netplay was even a thing).

While I've yet to see Strive do everything Accent Core could do... I've yet to give up hope that they will add more offline content for this game.

More game modes, maybe even EX fighting styles, or classic costumes, maybe even Robo Ky Factory, Boost Mode, Team Battle, or Medals of Millionaires...

So much to think about... a future that has yet to be seen...

And Slayer on the horizon (including his famous castle) to think about...

We'll see, won't we? We'll see if Strive can live up to the hype.

New Genie team episode titles.

Mew Mew genie power. This is where the genie team found Zoey Hanson.

The unpopular genie. The genie team meets Bridget Verdant, who is upset because she feels like nobody understands her.

The genie from the shelter. Amanda sees a new genie named Kikki Benjamin, who loves putting on street shows for people.

The lone wolf genie. This is when the genie team finds Renee Roberts. And Corina is very happy all of the Mew Mews are together again and became members of the genie team.

The return of Slix Vigma. The genie team were battling some of their foes, when they get taken onto a spaceship piloted by Slix Vigma, an evil alien robot who Ben 10 met before. Despite there were friends and foes, they all had to work together in order to stay alive and escape from Slix Vigma before his ship blasts off to another galaxy.

775 runs off again. The genie team got a call from Ben Tennyson that 775 escaped from Area 51 and is on the loose. Can they catch this evil Merlinisapien before he harms anybody?

Clash of the couples. Temacu heard there’s a competition on the best couple. So she and I decided to compete. However, Exo-Skull and Subdora were competing too. We knew we had to be careful around them.

Ben 23 and the bounty hunters. The genie team got to meet up with Ben 23 and were asked by parallel world Azmuth to mentor him. However, Kraab and Sixsix were on the run again. Can the genie team stop them before they catch Ben 23?

Captain Kork sails again. The genie team got a call from Cranky, Carly and Big Mickey that Skiff, Captain and Bulstrode had been taken by the evil pirate Captain Kork and his Mechaneers and being put in giant bottles. Can they rescue all the boats of Sodor before they get sent to certain galactic collectors?

A pachyderm problem. The genie team is faced with trouble with an evil alien elephant named Trumbipulor. He was planning on eating roasted peanuts in order to grow super tall so he can squash everyone like bugs. And he had his robot mice worth him. Will the genie team be able to figure out his weak points?

In Cantonese she is...wait for it...PARSLEY (Hueng-Choi). THERE ARE GREEN FRUITS PEOPLE. If you really want her to be a vegetable melon would've been fine. And yes, she is also Mew Parsley.

Mew Pudding is my second fave nickname actually - Bu Ling sounds like Pudding and she creates giant puddings to trap things inside. Love it. Moving on

Lettuce gets so excited when discussing things of the ocean and now she has someone she can share it with firsthand. And you know what they say. People become more attractive when they talk about something they are passionate about. Lettuce also wanted to help Pie to experience more of what Earth had to offer other than just it’s technology. 

I also like to imagine Pie can take Lettuce to oceans all over the world so she can experience new underwater environments and sea life and still get her home before it gets to late.
