Anyway returning to Lore Stuff but: feels really likely The Crush was due to Ludinus's attempt to contact Ruidus in the late 500s, which is what led to the fall of Molaesmyr. I wonder if he even realized until centuries later, since I don't think he was able to communicate with Ruidus until he started working with Ruidusborn which feels comparatively recent. Imagine unwittingly setting into motion a natural disaster that permitted the final stages of complete imperial takeover on an entirely different celestial body and then finding out 200-odd years later that this is extremely beneficial to your lifelong dreams.

Let me know what your favourite Pokemon is!
Also please share if possible, I kinda need large results for the point I'm making with this (that some of us have been cursed to never be able to use our favourite Pokemon in a playthrough lol)

The thing about Till the End of the Moon is that it goes SO HARD in the first episode. None of this "give it a few episodes to get good" nonsense. It STARTS with a climactic battle for the fate of the world
and then it keeps that energy going for 39 more episodes.

last night, i had the incredible joy of listening to tamsyn muir, tj klune, tasha suri, and samantha shannon talk about their experiences growing up queer and writing queer fantasy! it was an absolutely amazing talk, and they touched on some really interesting topics; on how fanfiction had been a safe space for tj and tamsyn to find their voices as young queer writers; how growing up in the UK under section 28 had affected tasha and samantha; the stories and media that had introduced them all to fantasy or science fiction, and how they continued to influence them to this day. it was incredible to see them all sitting there on stage (tj klune on a screen) and realise that just like us, they're just people with stories to tell. they're just people who got angry, or obsessed, or inspired, and wrote about it.
i wish i could remember more details of all of it, but one thing someone said (although i can't remember who!) really stuck with me: 'writing is an act of creation, both of yourself and of art'.
when we write, we unlock pieces of ourselves that we maybe hadn't before. when we channel the things we love or fear or remember into our writing, we become ourselves a little bit more through the process of doing it. it's scary sometimes, but it's wonderful. it's worth doing.
the talk was so incredibly inspiring and funny and down to earth, and i wish i could thank the authors again for committing their time to it! i wish i could pass on the inspiration i felt to all of you! go write queer books! kids and teenagers growing up like us need them! adults like us who never had them as kids need them! it's important! it's changing the world! i love you!

Every time Mario goes to rescue Princess Peach, and the journey takes more than a day, he finds himself pausing to stare up at a beautiful moon. The lands of the Mushroom Kingdom are stunning throughout his long travels. The night sky is spectacular. And the moon is such a gorgeous beacon up there, visible from every vantage point. He wonders, as he stares up at the moon, if she is looking at it, too. Even if they are apart, perhaps they unknowingly share this moment of reprieve. Gazing up at the stars together despite the distance between them.
Peeking outside her cell, taking in what little of the night sky she can see, perhaps Peach is wondering the same thing.
