i'm going to cry??? i love her so much it's so amazing to have queer actors, especially non binary actors and hes. talking about it and it's just... i've never really seen myself in anything, like yeah in some cartoons and in community but there was only really one cartoon ive seen with a character so much like me with an autistic and queer storyline and in community he's not canonically queer and yeah May isnt canonically autistic but it's like... a non binary character. with a story so similar to mine, and they're talking about it, and i just feel so seen whenever Justin talks about being queer.

being non binary can be so lonely, but when i see things like this, or talk to people like me, or just remember that theres people like me, like her... everything feels so much safer. so much more secure. yes, it can be lonely, but it can bring us together and it can create a community. i love being non binary and May helped me accept that i am. because when i was so scared of being outside the binary, and when i was trying to convince myself that if i'm not a girl i can be a boy, i saw May and they helped me. because non binary actors help me know that this wont stop me from doing what i love and having a good life. because if theres people like him, it's okay.

Y’all better NOT gang up on Antonio Cipriano once Reneé Rapp’s songs are out. Do not, and I mean DO NOT, pull a fucking Jolivia drama. Antonio and Reneé seem civil. I’m seeing a lot of information being passed around about the SAG-AFTRA strike and have already seen this line of questioning on Twitter so I thought I’d address what this means for Broadway actors as I understand it;

Many of your favourite Broadway actors work in film, television and other fields of acting outside of Broadway and do have SAG memberships and thus ARE currently on strike

HOWEVER

Broadway actors are also apart of the Actors’ Equity Association - typically known as Actors’ Equity or just Equity - this is a SEPERATE union

Broadway actors apart of Equity are signed and working under Equity contracts for the productions they are starring in

As they are working under different union contracts, if you see Broadway actors going to their jobs, performing as usual, promoting upcoming theatrical work, etc. - They are NOT scabbing or crossing the picket line as they are not under SAG-AFTRA contracts

Broadway actors are complying with their Equity contracts and to not do so would put their jobs in jeopardies

Remember, the people who comprise Broadway productions are not just famous names but are comprised of many hard working actors who do not have the status or recognition of their more notable co-stars and should NOT be shamed under the guise of false information

HOWEVER

If you see Broadway actors signing onto new screen productions, promoting upcoming screen work, and breaking any of SAG-AFTRA’s strike rules, then it is up to your discretion if you want to bring this to people’s attention

I would like to make it clear that I am NOT an expert nor a professional working on Broadway, this is all information I have gathered from discussions from people involved in the industry. I am only making this post as I have yet to see anyone else address this and have seen some people be confused about what Broadway actors are currently doing in this moment so I hope to help clear things up.

If there is any information I have misunderstood, failed to share or falsely spread, please feel free to correct me and I will update this post.

TLDR: Broadway Actors are not crossing the picket line by continuing to perform in their current theatrical roles as they are under Actor’s Equity Contracts which is a seperate union to SAG-AFTRA

think about it - ur a hack musical theatre director and u make up ur own self-insert who gets their own power ring. only it's like... a mood ring? so every lantern has the potential to be any colour depending on how bummed they're feeling at any time. ur musical sucks so everyone is indeed bummed. they have a fun little oath u made up that sounds like a discount dua lipa track. it's a pop musical. several lanterns are played by muppets. every time someone transforms into their lantern uniform they do a fun little twirl and rip half their costume off. josh groban plays a lantern veteran named "hank morgan". andrew lloyd webber tells u to kill urself because green lantern: into the rainbow charts better than bad cinderella. bruce wayne shakes ur hand at the premiere. booster gold is a consultant for the project. guy gardner almost strangles him at a jsi meeting.

There’s just something so funny about Mrs. Lovett being blonde in the 2023 revival.

I don’t mean this in a bad way, I just say this because of the many times Sweeney raves about Lucy’s yellow hair.
