there was a room in the old family farmhouse that was technically my uncle’s office but we just called it ‘the clown room’ because it was decorated floor to ceiling with clownery. clown paintings and posters. piles of clown magazines. clown statues. and even worse is the house was burnt down at one point and when they finished fixing it up they put the clown room back together with the same decorations, now all at least somewhat damaged in the fire, the worst of which were the horrific partially melted clown statues

this is the trailer home i built for Ruby Broke, an EA premade Sim of the Broke family from Riverview I edited for my save. As her biography says that she wants to move out but likes to be close to her family, i bought her a residential lot next to the one of her family and gave her the trailer. It's still a wip. I decided that Ruby has her very own kind of interior taste, mixing lots of colors and patterns like throwing everything together that she likes, not sure if it fits together in the end.

Alpha!Eddie Munson x Omega!Reader
+18 hurt/comfort, angst, depression, omega dropping, mean!eddie, rejection, abo dynamic
Not proofread, just needed to put my hurt into words. i was sad this morning and this came out.
Dropping is a self defense mechanism for Omegas when their needs aren't met. That could be rejection from their alpha, having no pack, having no pups, not being able to scent, etc. They induce themselves in a non responsive state, sometimes comatose until they feel safe once again.
wc: 4k+
Plot: Eddie is the reason you drop.
Tumblr media
SCENT
Eddie Munson wanted to be your mate back in Hawkins when he had presented a courting gift. It wasn’t out of nowhere, he was very much sure you were his mate because well, you had spent your heat with him, as well as he spent his rut with you. You also met with him every so often to mess around and just stare at the stars above his trailer. He was sure you were going to be his mate, because you two had confessed to each other even.
But you rejected him.
You never gave him a reason, never gave him the motive for your rejection and why you led him on the way you did, but that’s what made Eddie greatly despise you. Now, you had a reason for the rejection. Your father had realized the relationship you had with the Male Alpha, and he had dimmed Eddie a worthless suitor. You would have eloped of course, you were ready to do so, but your father wasn’t an ordinary man at all.
Your father threatened to kill Eddie if you were to run away with him.
He promised you he would find you both and you would become a lonely Omega with a bitten mating gland and that would probably make you spiral into absolute madness. You didn’t care about what happened to you, but you did care about Eddie. You were so happy when he had presented a courting gift to you. You were so absolutely happy…
But your father’s words came back into your mind and even if your heart broke, even if your omega self was trying to claw out of your skin to go towards Eddie, your alpha, your other half of your protective and motherly omega wanted to protect him at all costs. So you stepped away without any reason, without telling him what had truly happened behind your house’s doors. His scent became bitter, so bitter that you had to scrunch up your nose at the unfamiliar smell he sent your way. He hated you.
Eddie then left Hawkins.
And everything you did to protect him was in vain, because your father started presenting possible suitors for you, Alphas that would give you everything, riches, family… But you rejected every single one of them, and your father got fed up with your nonsense after a year of trying. Your mother just stood there as your father prepared your bags and put them at the front door. He kicked you out of the house and out of his pack.
Your friends had left for Indianapolis so you headed over there as well, trying to find comfort in them, wanting to be scented if they were still a pack. You moved, you actually found a decent job as an assistant, and you could afford rent in a nice apartment that had a living room, kitchen and a bedroom. But when you finally crossed paths with Robin Buckley after calling her on her cell phone, her scent was very familiar. Your Beta friend had a pack that was for sure, but the scent she was emanating meant that they had a particular Alpha as a protector, as a leader.
So when you finally met up with everyone once more at Robin’s home, the scent that hit your nostrils was too potent, as if there was a wildfire spreading all over the room, only to become bitter and sour in the matter of seconds because there in the middle of the room stood Eddie Munson, in his new Alpha glory. He was bigger, beard covering his features, hair tied back as he stared at you with hatred in his eyes.
Everyone noticed how your scent transformed into a humid kind of smell, meaning that sadness was present in yourself as well as fear. You weren’t welcome in the pack, and he made it clear as he forbade everyone to scent you. He didn’t want you near him, he didn’t want you to mess him up again, and now that he found his pack and he actually recovered from the pain you caused, he wasn’t going to let you ruin it with your smell.
He believes you don’t deserve it, even though he could smell you as a packless Omega, he tried to not take pity on you, but it was impossible, yet his resolve stayed the same. Steve was an Alpha as well, but since he had mated with Jonathan, his protection only served for his mate, so Eddie became the leader of the pack instantly.
You had tried to talk to him, to explain what had happened a year ago, but he wouldn’t listen. He had screamed at you to leave him alone in his Alpha voice, which only made you close your mouth, and step away from him. His heart broke as he smelled the fear in you, and how you left a lingering sour scent as you walked away from him.
The first heat you suffered in Indianapolis was brutal.
You had nothing to nest with. You had no possessions of your pack, scents of the people you cared about, so you had to fake a nest with your sheets, putting them all around you to create a placebo effect– But your heat was painful, trying to pleasure yourself as your slick covered your entire bed, memories of Eddie helping you through it rushing in your mind which only made the pain even worse.
You contemplated calling Robin, asking her to tell Eddie to come to your house, to help you– But you remembered how he had ordered you to stay away, and the omega inside you, the one that still held onto him as a mate, listened.
When you met Billy Hargrove, a very powerful Alpha in the city, you really did believe you finally found a pack. You were talking non stop, getting to know each other, going on dates together, and Robin was very happy for you. She had been trying to make Eddie come to his senses about you joining the pack, afraid of what might happen to you, but Eddie refused once again telling Robin that you could manage alone because that was your decision a year ago.
Your heat was coming up and Billy had yet to scent you, so when you finally became intimate with him you were hoping he would. But he had remained away from you as he penetrated you, holding you down on the bed as he took what he wanted from you. Once it was over, you tried to nuzzle his neck, scent him and probably rub some of his on you. He pushed you away instantly and told you that he didn’t feel the connection he thought he would, and after three months of knowing him, he left you.
The second heat you suffered in Indianapolis was torture.
There were traces of Billy’s scent in some sheets, but it wasn’t enough for your nest, and you remembered the fact that he had decided you were not going to be his mate, only making the situation worse thanks to the rejection. You weren't good enough, he didn't want you, just like Eddie doesn't want you now.
Once again, you found yourself looking at your phone in order to call Robin, to bring you some of her clothes, maybe even get help from Steve who also, with his mate’s approval, wanted to scent you.
Eddie’s fear settled in when Robin told him you had spent another heat alone, and he had been even angrier at you the past few months for dating another Alpha. Now knowing that your Alpha had left you alone in your worst time made him feel like dying and he wanted to murder the other man.
He cared for you and he cursed at himself for the pull you had on him still. It wasn’t fair. He had suffered triggered ruts due to your rejection, painful stabs in his gut and brain for the lack of you, the lack of your touches, your smell, your voice…
You looked lifeless after your heat. Robin noticed and was going to go against Eddie’s orders as she prepared a bag with her clothes to give to you. You declined it. You were going to make Robin lose her pack, possibly, if she did this. If Eddie smelled himself on you without him actually scenting you, he would know that it was Robin.
So now, it was your third heat in Indianapolis.
And it was murdering you.
Your fingers this time did find your phone, tears running down your face, as every single muscle in your body started tensing, slowly and painfully. It was Eddie’s birthday, and of course you were not invited. You wouldn’t have been able to attend anyways because you knew your calendar, and you knew it was close, but you weren’t prepared for how torturous it would be.
Your bed had slicked sheets all over it, not even caring of making a make pretend nest with them any longer. Your closet was a mess as you tried to find something that didn’t have your smell on it because you could feel your heart about to explode and your whines could probably be heard all over your omega complex. You couldn't make a nest. You didn't have a nest.
You didn't have a pack. You didn't have a mate. No one wants you. You were never going to be able to have pups. You are a worthless and useless Omega.
So why keep trying?
Your body was on fire even if you had stripped to nothing, splashed yourself in cold water, until you had finally landed on your bed, unable to move. You couldn’t even touch yourself, you didn’t have any power left in you, but your fingers and hand could still move.
“Hello?” You heard Robin call your name as music blasted behind her. You opened your mouth only for your voice to get caught in your throat, choked small sobs escaped you and that’s when Robin lost it. “TURN THE FUCKING MUSIC DOWN!”
“I-I–” You couldn’t speak, it was painful, it hurt, it hurt, it hurt.
“Baby, please, what’s wrong?” Robin panicked, pacing around the room as everyone stared at her, including Eddie whose gut was slowly falling to the ground.
“S–Shirt– Please– I need it–” Your cracked voice, your sobs, and the whines. Everyone in the room could hear the whines. Steve immediately took his jacket off. Jonathan took his sweater off. Nancy didn’t know you, but her inner alpha became full alert at the sound and she understood in a single second what was going on, taking her cardigan off herself as well. Dustin stared at Eddie in disbelief as the Alpha male had wide eyes, head spinning around uncontrollably as he stared at Robin.
“I’m going, I’m going, I’m getting you stuff okay?! Just remember I’m going!” The phone clicked and Robin looked down at it with shaky hands and her head finally snapped towards Eddie and for the first time, something that almost never happened could be heard in the room.
A Beta was actually defying an Alpha.
A small growl was shot at Eddie’s way as she started gathering everyone’s belongings. Eddie at this point, did not care for his scent to be passed over, he didn’t care any longer. You were in danger and it was his fault. It was his fault. It was all his fault. He grabbed onto his car keys, despite Robin telling him that he shouldn’t come, that he is going to make everything worse, but he didn’t listen, he didn’t want to listen.
So when they got to your complex, Robin used her spare keys to actually get inside as Eddie snuck in. He could smell the alarmed omegas at the scent of an Alpha in the building, but he had to get to you. He had to reach you in time. You were three floors up, and in the second one he could already smell you and it wasn’t sweet like the heats you spent with him. It wasn’t something that was triggering his arousal, or his need to mate you. It was triggering his need to save you.
And when Robin opened your door, even she couldn’t handle the smell, and Eddie almost hunched over at the pain it shot inside of him. Robin didn’t waste a second as she ran into your room, only to find you naked, sweat all over, body trembling and nonsense spouting out of your mouth. She panicked as she started placing everyone’s belongings around you and she took her shirt off, leaving her in her bra only, not caring at all about Eddie entering the room.
His eyes bulged out of his skull at the sight of you. His eyes filled with tears as his body yelled at him to go towards you, to hold you, to scent you, but he knew that would make it worse for you, because he had commanded you before to stay away from him. His heart was clenching inside his chest as Robin kneeled on the bed next to you, putting her shirt over your chest so you could smell her. She was crying as she held you, cradling you up so your face could hit her chest.
“I’m here! I– I brought everyone’s scents, I put them all around you baby, I’m here–” Robin was choking sobs as you stared at the ceiling, completely gone, mumbles coming out of your mouth that she started to be able to listen and understand, only for her heart and the Alpha’s that was still shocked in the room, break in pieces.
“I-I can’t smell them, I can’t–” You lost your sense of smell. Rejection was present in your core, your mind, your heart and Robin could smell it becoming stronger. “I–I’m useless, I have no pack– n-no one wants m-my pups– No one wants me–”
Eddie wanted to yell, tell you that he does, tell you that he is here, tell you that he was a fucking idiot, tell you that he still loves you and he still believes you are his mate, that you have always been and always will despite you rejecting him.
“Baby, baby, you’re not, you’re not, I’m sorry, I’m so sorry, I’m here–” You weren’t processing Robin’s words, the word useless repeating in your head all the time, like a mantra. You were rejected, an outcast, and the only person you thought of as your long lasting mate didn’t want anything to do with you.
And then, your body stopped trembling, and Robin saw how your features relaxed, your eyes became half-lidded as if in a sleepy state, and your body weight was heavier than before. Robin looked all over you to see signs of movement, anything at all, but even your smell was gone.
You dropped.
And Eddie, Eddie felt like killing himself for it.
“This is all your fault… I shouldn’t have listened to you…”
Tumblr media
Eddie refused to leave your side, despite Robin and even Nancy wanting him to leave the room. Steve and Jonathan didn’t even look his way, and Eddie knew he was losing his pack, but at this point he didn’t care, he deserved it, all of it. His scent was almost unbearable for everyone else in the room, musky but in a very bad way, almost rotten.
You were in a hospital room. Your whole body was connected to IVs, to machines, your beating heart still heard on the small monitor, that only made a tiny bit on everyone’s minds have some peace. They had surrounded your body with clothes, accessories, even socks just to try to make you feel safe again.
Suddenly, a sob could be heard in the room, a low groan, almost a whine but not quite because he can’t manage to do that. His head was in his hands as he stared down at the floor and Dustin, despite his friend acting wrongly, he still decided to walk over to him and crouch to pass onto him his still pup smell. He still hasn’t presented, even at 15 years old, despite his friends already done so.
“P-Please Dustin, h-her.” Eddie choked and Dustin understood immediately, walking over to your still body and leaning down to dip his head into the crook of your neck. He whined when he couldn’t smell you, still he rubbed his face against your skin, trying to make his scent linger.
You didn’t wake.
Days passed, then a week, and Eddie was becoming desperate, feral even and in the bad way. He was pacing back and forth in his room, and he decided to go against his pack’s orders. He started putting on clothes, shirts, pants, and in each one, he did some push ups in order for him to sweat even more than before. He had gathered almost all of the shirts he owned, his sweatshirts, pants, hoodies, bandanas, even underwear and put it all in a duffel bag.
He rushed to the hospital like a maniac and when he entered the room he commanded everyone to get out. Jonathan flinched at his orders and immediately rushed out, but Eddie sensed the defying Beta in the room that was covering your body protectively for him to not come any closer.
“Robin, please– Please–” He knew it was karma. He had denied everyone else to scent you, and now, Robin was out of his pack, his scent no longer lingering over her because she wouldn’t let him come close to her, and she was the one that now didn’t want his scent over you.
But Robin was desperate too. You were a great friend to her, helped her deal with her undying love for Nancy, knowing it can’t ever happen. Betas and Alphas are a rare pair, and she didn’t think Nancy would want a Beta as her long mate. She couldn’t even bite her. They would never be able to mate.
They had tried everything, switching clothes everyday, Dustin coming over to try to scent you but his pup smell was very dim due to his age. The only one that hadn’t put any clothes around your nest, was Eddie. Your past mate. Your past Alpha.
Robin was completely desperate.
Enough so that she actually left the room. Eddie immediately got to work, taking his clothes out of the bag to put them alongside everyone else's, all around you in order to make a nest. His tears ran down his face, his head painfully throbbing as your eyes remained closed, an oxygen mask over your mouth and nose.
How could he forgive himself for this? How could he live with the thought of you stuck in a bed because of what he did?
“Darling, please open your eyes…” His face came close to yours after many months of dying to do so, after a year and a half of doing it for the last time while you two laid on his bed back at the trailer park. You didn’t want his scent on you so you two wouldn’t be caught, but that night he couldn’t help himself, and you didn’t either. The next day, you rejected him.
His face nuzzled your neck, his mouth traced your skin, placing soft kisses as he cried for not being able to smell you. That sweet smell he remembered every night, every day, at every hour. He wrapped his hand at the back of your neck in order to lift you up slightly so he could rub his scent gland against yours, repeating the action on the other side.
A gasp was heard in the room as the heart rate monitor picked up slightly.
His eyes widened as he pulled away to see your eyes staring widely at the ceiling, not understanding what’s going on, why you’re here, why is his scent all over you, why does he feel so close to you? You were choking into the mask, gasping for air, and you felt arms cradle you into a chest.
Alpha. Alpha. Your Alpha?
“Hi Sweetheart.” He choked out as he felt you breathe against him, his head right on top of yours as he held you close. Your body relaxed into him, memories vividly replaying in your head, memories you’ve always wanted to repeat, memories that made you want to go back in time and not listen to your father.
Your nose picked up various scents now, aside from Eddie, you could smell Robin. Even as a Beta she made sure to put her smell all over her clothes. You could smell Steve, Jonathan, an alpha you don’t know of but the smell was welcome either way… And you could smell the faint scent of a pup. A pup was here. A pup scented you.
You were safe.
Eddie pulled away from you to look at your face again, and finally locked eyes with yours. Eyes that no longer held resentfulness, but guilt. Eyes that no longer held anger, but grief. Eyes that no longer held hate, but love. Pure and unconditional love. He didn’t care what happened in the past. He didn’t care any longer, but he cannot forgive himself for what he did to you. He cannot forgive himself for being the cause of all of this. He cannot forgive himself for causing you this much pain that you had to shut your brain off in order to go to a safer place.
You smelled his bitterness, painful, making your stomach turn uncomfortably. You reached up to take the mask off your face and you couldn’t be away from him again. This time you will fight for your alpha. You will show him how much you want him, how much you’ve wanted him for the past year, how much you needed him the few months you’ve been in the city.
So you let out calming pheromones from your body. He was hit with them immediately, making his shoulders relax as you held onto him. Clarity filled your head the more you looked at him, the more you stared at his features. His face contorted again, a frown appearing in his eyebrows as tears started spilling out of his eyes uncontrollably.
“I’m sorry– I’m– I’m so sorry–” He sobbed against you, wrapping his arms around you so he could dip his face into the crook of your neck again and his cries were louder as your scent filled his nostrils again. It was just like he remembered, but he didn’t understand why it was sweet and not sour. He didn’t understand why you didn’t pull away. He didn’t understand why you didn’t hate him.
And that’s when you told him everything as his face stayed still on your neck.
“I wanted to protect you…” You finished saying as tears rolled down your cheeks, uncontrollably so, and he pulled away to reveal his stained cheeks, a wild look on his face. He gulped as he rushed to take off his pick necklace, looking down at it only for then to show it to you in his hands, presenting it.
You smiled at it through your tears because it was the same courting gift he had tried to give you back in Hawkins– and this time, you took it.
Three months later, you were laughing while drinking a beer with Robin on your side while her hand was being held by Nancy on her other side. Steve had his arm around the new Alpha in the room who claimed he was going to be the next leader of the pack because the last one had already retired. Jonathan rolled his eyes at Dustin every time he said that, with a hand resting on his belly.
Eddie walked into the room with a beer in hand and sat next to you, on your other side in his couch, your couch, and dropped an arm around your shoulders, pulling you close. Robin rolled her eyes knowing the conversation was over now as she put her attention on Nancy while your eyes found Eddie’s. He smiled as he leaned towards you to press a deep kiss on your lips.
You smiled in between the kiss, reciprocating it as you pressed a hand on his knee. You heard a growl rumbling in his chest and you couldn’t help but giggle at his reaction, making you pull away from his lips.
“If I pop a knot right here, it’s entirely your fault.”
“You’re the horndog.” He rolled his eyes at you and leaned down to press a soft kiss in between your neck and shoulder, making you shiver as a smile spread all over your lips.
He kissed right over his bite mark.

I did say it was hurt/comfort.
Anyways, hope you enjoyed, sorry if I didn't get it right, this is my first time writing about an Omega actually dropping.
Also if you're new in the omegaverse thing, yes, males get pregnant because they have the secondary gender, meaning they have vajayjays and uterus as well as their shafts.
Alpha females have dicks but cannot get pregnant.
That's all.

Summary: When Steve and Robin bail on you, you’re left alone with Eddie for the first time and you want him to teach you how to play the guitar. But you find it hard to focus. Or, alternatively, the one in which you find out why Eddie Munson keeps handcuffs in his bedroom and what those stains on his mattress really are.

It was a Saturday night tradition. After a particularly mind-numbing shift at Family Video, you, Steve, and Robin were always in desperate need of some fun. Really, it was a miracle that Keith even let the three of you work the same shift, given the especially sloppy work you produced when presented with the distractions of your best friends. As much as you loathed Keith, you supposed you might as well use his apparent –albeit inappropriate– fondness for you to your advantage. After the first time Eddie called the store during your combined shifts, the routine formed easily: the second that the last customer left and the door was locked, the three of you piled into Steve’s BMW to meet Eddie at his trailer for a well-deserved joint or some shots of tequila, maybe a bit of both if the day was particularly unbearable.
Tonight, though, your friends seemed to have other ideas. It was Robin who first broke the routine. She burst into the store with a guilty grin and a rushed explanation about the maybe-date she had with Vicki. And, okay, you could admit that you were happy for her. The excited rush in her voice and dusting of pink in her cheeks made it hard to be too mad at Robin. Beaming, she nudged you in the arm:
“Besides, who wouldn’t want a night alone with Eddie and this dingus?”
You turned to glance at Steve, hiding the flush this brought to your cheeks. A sinking feeling settled deep within your belly as you caught sight of the giggly girl leaning her torso against the checkout counter. She batted her eyelashes at Steve, twirling her hair around her finger. You hadn’t needed to hear them to know that Steve was asking her out on another date that you were uncertain he even actually wanted to go on. For someone who claimed to hate it, Steve sure did seem to have quite a bit of mindless sex. Not that you wanted to think about Steve’s sex life, or him with his shirt off or– No. You pushed away the image before it could fully form in your mind.
“Whatever,” Turning back to Robin, you rolled your eyes. “Now, are you gonna help me restock the shelves, or should we risk leaving it for Steve?”
Chuckling, she nodded and followed you to the stockroom to grab the carts filled with the new arrivals. Both of you took one and wheeled it off to different parts of the store. You hummed to yourself as you lugged the heavy container towards the next genre. It was in the middle of your whispered rendition of “Lights” that Steve finally made his way over to help you.
He shot you a grin as he gripped the cart, taking it from you. You eyed him skeptically, raising an eyebrow:
“Someone looks happy,” you teased. “Did my tip to recommend Pretty in Pink get you a date again?”
Steve’s warm laughter filled the store over the radio playing through the loudspeakers. “That obvious, huh?”
You shrugged. Casually, you tell him: “There’s this little quirk to your lips that gives you away.”
Steve stared at you for a brief moment, surprised, but averted his gaze before you turned your torso back to him and grabbed another VHS. Shifting his weight, Steve rubbed his hand over his chin.
“Don’t worry, kid,” said Steve, unable to avoid a grin at the nickname. He gave you The Karate Kid Part II to put in the new release section. “I promise I’ll still drive you to Munson’s, okay?”
“Wait,” You paused, whirring back to gape at him. “What do you mean, ‘drive’ me? Steve, please tell me you’re not bailing, too!”
Steve broke out into a sheepish grin. You tossed your hands up in exasperation. While you busied herself with visibly pouting, you missed the knowing smirk that Steve gave in response.
You blinked at him. Robin, you understood; she’d been dancing around taking this plunge with Vicki for ages, but Steve…? Well, you didn’t know why that bothered you, but you suddenly found yourself filled with jealousy towards the stranger with her forced Valley Girl accent and ugly purple top. Unwilling to admit that, you instead focused on the other idea stirring your nerves. Robin wasn’t coming to smoke that night, nor was Steve. That just left you... And Eddie. It would be the first Saturday Smoke Nights without all four of you there.
The thought made your tummy flip. It wasn’t that you didn’t like Eddie– in fact, he had quickly become one of your closest friends. Still, something about the idea of spending time truly alone with him for the first time since, well, since the Upside Down, sent your heart aflutter.
You thought about canceling the whole thing until everyone was free. Except, when you floated the idea to him, Steve wasn’t having any of it.
“Maybe I should just call it a night, then,” you shrugged.
“No,” he shook his head firmly. “I’m driving you.”
Steve shot an odd look your way as he pushed the cart of tapes to be reshelved towards the Action section. You followed closely behind him, holding two tapes at a time and replacing them on the shelves.
Tumblr media
That was how you found yourself sitting on Eddie’s bed while he deliberated over the two movies you had swiped from Family Video to watch that night— Airplane! or Teen Wolf. Not that you could care less; it was only a matter of time before you and Eddie weren’t sober enough to really care.
After a moment, Eddie looked up from the VHS cases with a brow quirked. His voice dripped with sarcasm. “How do you expect me to choose between two such riveting pieces of cinema?”
You shrugged. “Sorry, we had to pick something that Keith wouldn’t notice went missing.”
Eddie shrugged. “Werewolves it is, then.”
While Eddie held up the selected tape and carried it over to the VCR player, you rose to your feet. You adjusted your skirt as you stood, pulling the plaid material a little further down over your thighs. The white tank top that you had put on before work looked more see-through than you remembered it being without the oversized green vest of your employee uniform over it. With that shedded in the passenger seat of Steve’s car, the lacy black bra which you threw on that morning popped against the white.
“Hey, Eds,” you called out. ”You got any popcorn?”
Eddie spared you a glance, a finger suspended in the air over the play button. His breath hitched at the sight of you. He wondered if you knew how good you looked or if you meant to waste it on the renters at work. Or him, for that matter. Swallowing thickly, he told you about the Jiffy Pop he had waiting for you on the stove, and stared after you once your figure disappeared from sight.
When you returned to Eddie’s bedroom, snacks and drinks in hand, he was oddly quiet. You paused for a moment, your eyes scanning his face for signs of what was going on in that head of his. You bent to set the popcorn bowl on the floor by his feet and handed Eddie a beer. The tension in the room was palpable. It pushed you to plop yourself down in the space next to him. You watched the opening credits rolling on Eddie’s shitty TV as you settled into this new position, criss-crossing your legs.
Your palms slapped against your thighs as you rallied his attention. “Okay,” you said. “I don’t know about you, but I’m ready to get wasted.”
Eddie snickered. “Okay, princess,” he cooed. “As you wish.”
Tumblr media
A delicious calm washed over your body as your high set in. The beer was shitty and slightly warm from not being in the trailer’s refrigerator long enough, but it was the best you two could scrounge up in Hawkins. It warmed you up and, more to the point, got the job done anyways. By the time you had a couple beers and half a joint in your system, the movie was over, and you felt more comfortable being alone with Eddie.
Your fingers ghosted over the tops of the cases as you sifted through Eddie’s cassette collection. It took a while for you to find something familiar. You waited until Eddie was in the bathroom to switch the stereo to Journey so that he couldn’t protest the change.
You spun around the room, strumming your fingers in the air against an invisible guitar. It was in the midst of this little solo act that Eddie returned. He leaned against the doorframe so as not to disturb you, a small grin overtaking him. Eddie’s eyes flickered to your hips subconsciously as the movement swished your mini skirt upwards; the sight gave him just enough of a show to stir up tantalizing thoughts about the soft skin of your upper thighs and up until they disappeared under your panties. His impure thoughts brought a dopey smile to his face. It was then that you noticed his presence.
Upon realizing that you had been caught, your cheeks heated. A small squeak passed your lips. You stopped dancing abruptly, hair falling like a curtain over your face.
“Please,” said Eddie. “Don’t stop on my account.”
Suddenly shy, you shrugged. “Shit, you scared me! But,” Your lips curled into a demure smile, “I thought you were the rockstar, Eds. Wouldn’t wanna steal your limelight”
He shrugged, “I don’t mind sharing, angel.”
You hummed. Your cheeks burned with embarrassment as you blurted out unfiltered thoughts:
“You know, your hair’s almost as awesome as Steve Perry’s.”
Not this again. Eddie cocked an eyebrow, “Almost?”
You shrugged, a coy smile playing over your lips. “Just a little less silky.”
Pushing your hair away from your face, you narrowed your eyes at him. You sauntered over to the bed and collapsed yourself down onto it. Your eyes flickered from his hands to his tongue as he pushed it out to wet his lips. Getting comfortable, you shifted on the bed, tucking your legs up further underneath yourself. Your hands rested patiently over your thighs as you tilted your head.
“Hey, Eddie,” you said. “Will you teach me how to play guitar? I mean, how else am I gonna become a rockstar?”
His lips quirked up at this. “Sure,” Eddie nodded. “Most songs are three simple chords, anyways.” He lifted his hands to strum at an invisible guitar of his own. You couldn’t quite focus on his explanation with his hands moving like that.
“Okay, teach. I’m all ears,” you looked up at him with wide eyes, leaning forward with your elbows against your thighs and chin resting in your palms.
Eddie marched over to the wall where his guitar hung in its place of honor. He slung the strap over his shoulder, grabbed a stray guitar pick from the desk and placed it between his lips, before taking center stage in the middle of the room.
“Now,” Eddie began. “First, you’ve just gotta learn three simple chords: D, C, and G.”
He positioned his fingers, one at a time, over the strings in the correct position. The tip of his tongue poked out between his teeth in concentration. Even as crossfaded as you both were, Eddie wanted to impress you. After all, it wasn’t every day that he had a beautiful girl sitting on his bed, and he planned to milk the moment for all it was worth. So, he did his best to look cool and, if he was lucky, maybe you would ask him to teach you again. Eddie slowed the chord down to illustrate the correct posture. He played each of the three a few times then in succession.
“Then, when you put them all together, eventually, you get a little something like this–” Eddie strummed the iconic guitar solo of “Don’t Stop Believin’.” He thanked God for the liquid courage that allowed him to play Journey for you, like he hadn’t memorized the song just because he knew you were into them. Thank Ozzy for alcohol and weed or whatever it was that kept you from pointing out that Journey wasn’t exactly metal enough for Eddie’s usual taste.
And you meant to pay attention, you really did, but your brain turned into mush at the sight of Eddie truly in his element. You could think of nothing but the quick pace of his fingers. The thick rings he wore just on the cusp of his knuckles demanded attention. You bet they would feel cool against your skin, flushed and chest heaving, while he— pay attention. You swallowed around your cottony throat. White heat snaked up your spine as your mind wandered to thoughts of what else those skilled fingers of his could do. You shifted slightly in your seat. The room suddenly felt stuffy enough to run your mouth dry.
The sound of Eddie’s voice calling your name pulled you from her reverie. “Hmm?” Your eyes drifted slowly up to his face. “Are you even listening to me?”
You blinked your eyelashes up at him. WIth a faint smile, you tilted your cheek to rest against your shoulder. “Sorry,” you muttered. “Uh, can you show me that last one again? D, wasn’t it?”
“C, actually,” he corrected. “‘S something on your mind?”
“Oh, uh, I–“
You failed to think of an excuse, but you certainly couldn’t tell him what you were really thinking. Instead, you opened and closed your jaw, unsure.
Eddie let his hands fall to his sides. He raised his eyebrows inquisitively. “What’s a matter, baby? Cat got your tongue?”
The burst of warmth this brought to your cheeks gave him confidence. Eddie gently shrugged his guitar from around his shoulders and set it aside. You could only watch, eyes wide, as he strode your way.
He moved to sit beside you with his hands laid flat against the bed to support him, one on each side of you like a lanky cage, and his tall stature leaning over you. Eddie’s tongue peeked out to wet his lips. As he leaned forward, the guitar pick which he wore around his neck swung forwards to tap against the exposed skin of your shoulder.
When you didn’t respond, Eddie continued: “You wanna know what I think?”
With Eddie so close, you struggled to think of anything at all. The weed mixed with Eddie’s cologne— since when did he wear that?— and made your head swim even faster. You barely registered the words as they left your lips, “What’s that?”
Eddie sucked his teeth, a low rumble of a chuckle rippling through his chest as he leaned in to drop his lips to your ear. His hair tickled the skin of your neck. Gooseflesh rippled over you as his hot breath met your ear, “I think you’d rather watch”
You swallowed thickly. There was little time to compose yourself, though you tried, as Eddie leaned back against his palms, flattening them to give himself a better view. The expectant way in which he looked at you made you melt like putty under his hot, hungry gaze. Eddie reveled in the way you averted your eyes, embarrassed, and knowing you’d been caught. His big brown eyes gleamed.
Lamely, you shoved at his shoulder. “Shut up.”
“That’s not a no.”
“I–“
You went to call him an asshole but lost your train of thought entirely. The quip died in your throat as a flash of something shiny in your peripheral vision caught your eye. It was your turn to smile devilishly at him as you realized what it was.
Eddie frowned at the dip of the bed as you rose to your feet and stepped away from him. His gaze followed your saunter as you tiptoed over a copy of Heavy Metal magazine and a pile of cassette tapes to stop before the wall.
You lifted up the silver object with one finger. Turning to the boy, your lip curled devilishly into a knowing smirk. Eddie knew he should have been embarrassed or something, probably needed to come up with some plausible excuse for why he kept handcuffs in his bedroom. Maybe you would buy it if he said he was trying a hand at being an amateur magician? No, that was lame. He wanted to be a cop? Yeah, right! He certainly couldn’t tell you that he liked to use his hands in bed and, sometimes, he wanted to be the only one doing that. Could he?
“You know,” you lifted your eyes from the cuffs to meet Eddie’s. “My big brother’s a cop.”
The way that you twirled them around in circles stirred up something within Eddie. This, along with the plump pout of your lips, left Eddie suddenly very turned on. He swallowed thickly. “Yeah,” he said lamely.
“Well, then, Eddie, baby, you should know that he also taught me a little trick about how to get out of them.” You pulled at each loop of the cuffs until the chain was taut. “Do you want me to show you how?”
Now it was Eddie’s turn to stare and squirm. The suggestive tone to your voice rendered him speechless. He nodded dumbly. Your lips curved upwards devilishly. Mimicking his tone from earlier, you teased: “Cat got your tongue?
“Put ‘em on for me?”
Eddie swallowed thickly, Adam’s apple bobbing as he did so. He rose to his feet at your command. Your hands brushed as he took the restraints from the end of your finger. You blinked up at him expectantly as you pushed your wrists together in front of yourself. The cuffs bound your wrists as one with a resounding click. Eddie took a step back to admire his work. You looked so damn pretty with your hands all bound up for him, your wide eyes the icing on the cake.
“Wait,” Eddie shook his head. He gripped your wrists in one hand, stilling them before you had a chance to show him your trick. “Keep them on”
The mere sight of you in his cuffs made Eddie’s cock stir within his jeans.
“Perfect,” he muttered. The remark was more to himself than anything. It made you dizzy nonetheless.
Eddie didn’t know where his newfound confidence came from–the weed, maybe, or the shine in your eyes as you looked at him– but it was welcomed either way. Playful banter and a flair for the dramatics were his bread and butter, sure, but this? Flirting with you and unabashedly ogling you in his cuffs was something Eddie never saw happening outside of his perverted fantasies. Whatever pushed him to do it, he was chuffed that he had the courage to say what he did next.
His thumb and forefinger pinched your chin, lifting it upwards to force your gaze upon him. “You didn’t really want me to show you how to play the guitar, did you?” he clicked his tongue. “No, you wanted me to teach you what my fingers can do to you”
Then his thumb pushed at your mouth, tapping against your pillowy lower lip. He applied gentle pressure to it, just enough not to push its way inside. “Is that what you want, angel?” A whine rumbled deep within you. You could only nod dumbly in response. Eddie clicked his tongue, head shaking. “Sorry, what was that? Can’t hear you”
“Yes.” That was all the confirmation Eddie needed. He pressed his thumb firmly so that it opened your mouth for him. Your tongue lapped at the intruder, teasingly, as you sucked him in. Eddie all but melted at the sensation and his cock responded similarly, his dirty thoughts racing with desire for that mouth of yours.
He jerked his head towards the bed. “Sit.” You obeyed readily and sat on the end of his mattress, legs dangling off the edge, and spread your knees wide for him.
Eddie bunched your skirt up with his fists and flipped it upwards on your hips. This gave him an eyeful of skimpy lacy panties that the skirt hardly covered to begin with. Christ. A whine escaped him at the filthy sight. He pushed your thighs as wide apart as he could by the knee. His hands ghosted over your skin from the knee up to the thickest parts of your thigh. He grabbed at the fleshy part of leg just below your ass.
He pushed aside your panties with his thumb to expose your wetness to him. A slow, shaky exhale escaped him as he dragged his finger through the slick and back up to rub sloppy circles against your clit. This made your breath hitch in your throat. Your mouth hung open with the silent whine threading to spill out.
Eddie’s Cheshire Cat grin only grew as he stretched his long fingers out to hook into the fabric of your underwear, keeping as much contact as he could with your clit, until he managed to yank them down your thighs and around the left ankle. Swiftly, and so smoothly that you didn’t even notice, he tucked the lacy material in the front pocket of his jeans. For later.
“Kiss me,” your voice sounded like a true angel whispering to him. His nickname for you had never felt more apt.
Eddie’s fingers never ceased on your clit as he dipped his head down to press his lips against your cheek. He mumbled a slew of praises and compliments against your skin as he mapped a trail along your jawbone to your neck, pausing to suckle a deep hickey on the jugular and ghost against your clavicle. Only when his name passed your saccharine lips did he give you what you wanted and press his mouth hungrily to yours.
As you melted into his touch, you breathed a happy sigh against him. You kissed every last inch of nerves and desire away into his waiting mouth. Eddie swallowed it readily. His mind buzzed with the hazy static of lust and illicit substances until he could no longer hear Steve Perry’s voice thrumming in the background. He thought maybe his heart was going to take flight. Deep unfiltered want drove Eddie as he added a second and third finger to your clit and increased the pace. He blinked through heavy lids as you twitched involuntarily at the sheer pleasure.
From the moment he laid eyes on you, Eddie was a hopeless fool for you. You were exactly the beautiful, smart, warm breath of air that he needed. His heart ached for you with each brush of your hands as you both reached for a kernel of popcorn from the same bowl during movie nights with your friends. That had been enough for him up until now; Eddie would take as much or as little of you as you wanted to offer him. Even if tonight turned out to be just another one of his elaborate fantasies, he’d die a happy man—he seemed to have more and more vivid images of you in all your sunny glory as of late, the filthy thoughts flooding his mind in the quiet moments when he was truly alone and his hand wandered on its own accord towards the waistband of his underwear. He had it bad for you, and Eddie didn’t want it any other way.
Though you couldn’t reach your hands up to card through his hair as you so desperately wanted to, you caught his attention just the same with nothing but those sweet lips of yours. He chased after your touch as you pulled away from the kiss, head shaking just faintly. The buck of your hips against him spoke for you.
Only, instead of taking your lead, his touch left you altogether. Eddie stared at you with heavy-lidded eyes, awestruck. His fingers drew shapes over your clavicle, inching over to your shoulder. The band of your bra strap snapped as he lifted it and let it flick back into place. Eddie hooked his finger under it once more but made no further moves.
“Can I?”
“Please,” you nodded.
Eddie pushed the straps off your shoulders, taking the tank top down with them. Gently, he propped you up enough to get the fabric up and over your head, tossing it somewhere behind him. With the dip of his head, Eddie leaned down to kiss the swell of your breasts just above the lace of the bra you wore, as he reached behind you to unclasp it once and for all. Before you knew it, that too was long forgotten. You laid bare on Eddie’s mattress, covered only with your skirt that was still bunched up around your hips.
He cupped your face in his hands. Your stomach flipped at the thrill of feeling your own arousal against your cheek. His voice and his grip forced your eyes on his.
“You’re so fuckin’ pretty,” he marveled. “A goddamn vision.”
There was an unmistakable fondness in his voice that made you feel warm inside with an emotion you couldn’t name. It only grew as he snaked one hand down your stomach and towards your core again, the other kneading your breast.
Ripples of pleasure rolled through you as he returned his thumb to its rightful place against your clit and pinched your nipples, rolling each between his fingers one at a time. You whimpered, hips bucking, and craving more and more of him.
The grin on his lips only grew at your silent begging. He lifted his hand, spitting on his fingertips, before bringing it back down to your dripping sex. It made an obscene sound as he gathered some of your arousal for good measure, toying with your entrance.
Slowly, Eddie pushed the very tip of his middle finger inside of you. His ring finger soon followed, and he twisted his wrist so that his palm now faced the ceiling. You writhed under him, craving more, but were unable to find it; his other hand gripped harshly at your hip to keep you in place. Only once he had you good and still did he push his fingers deeper. The thick rings he wore were cool against the fluttering heat of your body. He curled his fingers deliciously upwards. They only just brushed against your most pleasurable spot at first, leaving you just out of reach, teased.
You babbled at him. The sound of your own voice begging sounded far away, “Eddie, Eds, please”
Who was he to refuse you? “Well,” Eddie tutted. “Since you asked so nicely…”
Eddie knelt with his thighs pushed up against the mattress. He was close enough that your Achilles’ tendon brushed over the tattered denim of his jeans. But you wanted him closer yet. He still felt so very far away. Just as you mustered the core strength to pull yourself up without the aid of your hands, he moved his free hand from your hips to splay over your lower stomach, just above the pubic bone. It forced you back against the mattress, dumbfounded. You were fully at his mercy as he worked to fuck his fingers into you. They pushed slowly inside of you, down to the base and out again at a snail’s pace. He pushed them in faster, this time, only to the knuckle and curling them.
The added pressure of his hand on your stomach coupled with the speed of his movements ensured that every move hit you in a way that left you breathless. Eddie seemed to know your body like it was his, quickly finding the spongy area inside you that made your mind empty save the pleasure he was giving you. It was an electric spark that spread from your very core and threatened to burn you to pieces. You gasped at the sensation– a weak little sound that faded out into silent cries of pleasure.
And oh was that just the thing Eddie had been needing to hear all night. His own breath quickened as he doubled his efforts. The pace at which he thrusted his fingers was brutal and delicious. You mewled, unable to form a coherent thought that didn’t include Eddie and his magic fingers.
Each curl of his fingers caused the exposed skin under his tattoos to flex, and it looked so hot. Your eyes were drawn to the way his veins popped with the movement, and the sight nearly had you drooling. Every one of your senses was overwhelmed with him: his touch was unlike anything you could have anticipated, the shaky, aroused breaths that escaped him and the pornographic squelching sound of his fingertips each time he thrusted them into you made you dizzy, and you turned your head to whine into the mattress and breathed in his scent like it was pure oxygen. Eddie was everything.
Your toes curled and your legs began to shake. “Eddie, ‘m gonna– fuckk, I–“
“Yeah?” He tutted. “Let go, sweetheart.”
His soothing voice and unrelenting cadence made it difficult for you to focus on anything but the overwhelming pleasure coursing through your body. The tugging warmth of your orgasm that had been building surged until it was all-encompassing; intense pleasure slammed you all at once. Every ounce of tension left your body as you came around his fingers.
Eddie kept his fingers tapped against just the right spot as you rode out your orgasm. He lazily rubbed the heel of his hand against your very sensitive clit. Unable to help himself, he palmed at his erection with the other as he watched you come undone.
You’d had orgasms before, but never anything remotely like what Eddie was doing to you. The familiar knot in your stomach was there as it built, but it was accompanied by something else— another type of pressure that was foreign to you. He left you no time to dwell on it, because you were coming before you could even really process it. When you finally did, it was a release unlike any other.
You hardly noticed it at first, but once you started to return to your senses, you felt something wet between your thighs that hadn’t been there before. Leaning up, you tried to get a glance at it. Your cheeks burned, slightly embarrassed, as you saw what a mess you’d made. The bedsheets and—oh, God— Eddie’s forearm and parts of his pants were soaked.
When you managed to look at him again, locking eyes, he was smug. There was no sign of disgust or surprise anywhere. He looked proud, almost.
“Eddie,” you said, at a loss for words. “I don’t know what… I’ve never done that before.”
Only you weren’t entirely sure what it was that Eddie had done to you, just that it was the most intense euphoria in the world.
He smiled at you in a way that made it hard for you to feel insecure. Like you were a work of art; his masterpiece, even. Eddie rubbed his clean hand against your cheek, gently stroking your skin with his thumb.
“It’s okay, angel,” he reassured you. “You’ve never squirted before?“
You hesitated. The term sounded vaguely familiar to you, like maybe you’d once heard your girlfriends whispering about it, but you didn’t think it was real. Hell, no other boy you’d ever been with had even come close to making you orgasm at all, so this was entirely uncharted territory. It left you wondering where the hell Eddie fucking Munson had been hiding those skills all this time.
“No,” you shook your head. “But it felt really good.”
“I’m glad,” he pressed a gentle kiss to the blooming hickey he sucked on your neck earlier. “Just wanna make you feel so good. Such a good girl.”
He breathed in your scent like he was trying to commit it to memory. Eddie stayed with his face nuzzled in the crook of your neck for only a moment. He was leaning back up all too soon.
Finally, Eddie pulled his fingers from you and held them up to the light. His lips curved as he admired the way your slick glistened, thick as he separated his index and middle fingers. A deep hum left him as he lifted his hand to his waiting mouth and licked them clean.
“You taste so fuckin’ amazing,” he groaned.
“Yeah?” You asked, though your head still swam with the haze of your orgasm.
“Think it might be my new favorite dessert,” he confirmed.
Your heart flipped. Though you assumed he was only teasing, Eddie knew just what to say to render you speechless. You couldn’t get enough.
Eddie lowered himself onto the mattress next to you. As he propped himself up by the elbow, he brushed some hair from your face. His umber eyes were dark with lust-blown pupils.
Though your cheeks still burned, you grinned mischievously as a memory creeped up on you. It was probably something you should have forgotten, what with everything you had all been through since March of 1986, but you could still hear Eddie clear as day in your mind, see his doe eyes widen as he glanced nervously at you over Robin’s shoulder:
“Those stains are, uh… I don’t know what those stains are”
Gently, you nudged Eddie to get his attention, as if there were anywhere or anything else in the world that it would be.
“So,” you locked eyes with him. “That’s what those stains are, huh?”
Eddie chuckled. It was a full belly laugh that had his shoulders shaking in amusement. He shook his head fondly at you.
“Yeah,” he said. “That’s what the stains are.”
Well, that and bong water, —mostly the latter— but he thought it sounded more impressive if you thought of him as some sort of sex god.
You hummed in recognition.
Eddie smiled at you. He gripped the hem of his shirt in his fingers and toyed with it, chewing on his lower lip.
“You know,” he said. “I’m feelin’ a little overdressed here, don’t ya think?”
“You are entirely overdressed.”
You’re unable to fight off a smile. Eddie sat up again and reached to pull his shirt up and over his head. It fell in a heap beside the mattress. As he started on his belt, you let your eyes take in the marvelous sight of him.
His skin was pale and his long torso seemed to go on forever. The black ink of his tattoos and healed scars popped against his flesh, the largest of which spanned across his stomach, just over the naval, and blended into the beginnings of his happy trail.
Eddie and you had never discussed that fateful night in the Upside Down. It was easier that way than to admit  your nightmares were still mostly plagued by the overwhelming fear you’d felt as you and Dustin carried his limp body back to the base camp in that stolen RV and in the weeks you spent nursing him back from the brink of death. Eddie’s heart slowed to a pace so imperceptible he swore it had stopped and, for the briefest of moments, he was on the other side. He knew he should have died that day and that, really, he supposed a part of him had.
Perhaps for the first time since then, Eddie didn’t feel nervous or hesitant to reveal himself, scars and all, to someone else. Because it was you, after all. You, who had cursed at him through teary eyes for his monumentally stupid need to play hero and had somehow managed to remain calm enough to stem the bleeding, then scoured through the vehicle for something to sew him up with. It had been you who shooed Dustin out of the room, at least enough to shield the boy from the gruesome sight of your shaky hands as they crudely stitched him back together well enough to last until Steve and Robin and the others returned to regroup. He knew then, even in his weakest state, that he was in trouble because the flutter of your eyelashes made his sluggish heart ache.  As he looked at you now, your eyes blinking up at him, Eddie realized he never stood a fighting chance when it came to you. He supposed it was impossible not to fall in love with you, the angel who had saved his life, as he drifted in and out of consciousness. And every moment since then. He had called you his angel ever since.
You kissed a trail from the scars by his chest, down his tummy, and the one that disappeared under his boxer briefs. His skin was warm but erupted into goosebumps at your touch. Eddie’s breath caught in his throat as you craned your neck further down to peck an open-mouthed kiss where the head of his aching cock strained against the fabric.
Suddenly, he’s stopping you. Eddie’s hands cupped your cheeks, gently pushing your face away from him. The flash of hurt in your eyes must have been clear because he immediately softened his gaze, stroking your face lovingly with his thumbs.
“What’s wrong?” Confused, you glanced from the tent in his groin back to his eyes. “Do you not want to?”
“No!” Eddie cut you off, maybe a little too quickly and too loudly. He cleared his throat to recover, playing it off as a cough. “No, believe me, I really do. Fuck, if I’m bein’ honest, angel, I’ve wanted you since the second I first saw you in that boathouse. But, right now, I just really want to taste you. It’s a need, actually”
Eddie wasn’t done with you yet. No, tonight, he wasn’t letting up until he made his sweet little angel come against his lips, clenching around his fingers, and, finally, around his cock. Only then, after he took everything you had to give, would Eddie allow himself to come.
This confession rendered you speechless. A meek oh was all you could make out. Though he smiled down at you, a hunger swirled in his eyes that had you feeling he wanted to swallow you whole, and God, you wished that he would.
Even so, he made no further moves to act on it. His hands itched as he slid them from your face, down your chest and waist, before gripping at your thighs. He tilted his head, blinking expectantly at you.
“So, uh, can I? Eat you out?”
“Fuck, yes,” you nodded. “I’d be offended if you didn’t, now.”
Eddie didn’t waste another second. He pressed himself down against the mattress, lowering his face closer to the apex of your thighs, and tightened his grip on your flesh, swiftly yanking you closer to his waiting lips. They were wet and warm as he peppered kiss after kiss up the insides of both your upper thighs, nipping at the soft skin there.
“Don’t be a tease,” you wiggled your hips to chase his touch.
His breath hit your sopping core as he let out a quiet chuckle. Eddie nudged his nose foreword, just barely brushing it against the hood of your clit, dragging it down to your wetness.
He hummed, “Now, where’s the fun in that?”
“Eddie, I swear to–“
Your empty threat dissolved as he relented. Eddie shifted his grip to spread your lips open for him, thighs now caged in the crooks of his elbows. It’s when he wrapped his lips around your clitoris that the shock of pleasure shot through your spine and took the words from you. He sighed into your core and let himself push closer to it, almost smothering himself.
Eddie intermittently flitted his tongue out as he suckled at your clit. His mouth worked at the perfect rhythm and if you’d had the presence of mind to listen past the hammering of your heart in your chest, you would have been able to make out the tune he was humming; ‘Open Arms’ was surely for your benefit.
With his arms wrapped tightly around your hips, you had no choice but to ignore the urge to buck your hips against him. You got only what Eddie gave you, and good God, would you take every last ounce of pleasure hungrily.
After what could have been minutes, hours, or mere seconds —you couldn’t tell— Eddie broke his lips’ seal from your clit and let his nose take their place against it as he breathed out. He’s only off of you long enough to let out a low rumbling chuckle, asking: “Hm, what was that, angel?”
But you’re unable to answer him, because Eddie’s reattaching his lips to you and sucking with more intention than before. You couldn’t remember what you were saying even if you wanted to. Your mind was wiped of everything outside of him. Eddie Eddie Eddie. Your thoughts were a chorus of his name and him only. Eddie!
You had little presence of mind left to be embarrassed about it, as your second orgasm snuck up faster than the first. You were already close, barely able to contain your whines and sweet sighs any longer. Eddie seemed to sense this, and shifted his right hand from his death grip on your thighs—which would surely bruise, you noted with a twinge of excitement—and prodded two of his fingers at your entrance.
He licked lazily at your clit between words, remarking, “Such a good fuckin’ girl.”
He plunged his fingers inside finally, curving them again to find the spot he’d discovered earlier. His lips had only just returned to their rightful spot around your clit when your release hit you.
Eddie didn't let up on his suckling until you were still again, a broken sound falling from your lips. You pushed at his head as best as your restraints allowed, trying to wriggle away from the overstimulation. “‘S too much, Eds,” you pleaded.
He pulled himself away with a wet smack of his lips. Eddie wiped your arousal from his face with the back of his hand, though not without sucking it clean off his fingers. The grin he gives you is a delicate mix of devilish and heavenly.
Eddie crawled up the bed, long, alabaster torso towering over you as he planted his knees at either side of you. His fingers fanned out over your face and cupped your cheeks.
“You okay?” His eyes softened.
“More than okay,” you assured with a breathy giggle.
“Good,” Eddie said.
You could barely think. Not with your body still humming from your earth-shattering orgasm and not with Eddie’s big Bambi eyes blinking at you with such softness and deep affection. It made you feel like you were being seen for the very first time.
He couldn’t help the smile on his lips as he dipped his head to press a kiss to your lips. It was gentler than before and he tasted of your slick, a fact that elicited a soft groan from your chest. Eddie swallowed it up. His guitar-calloused thumb stroked your cheek as he titled his head to deepen the kiss. It was passionate, sensual, and every brush of his tongue against yours stoked the butterflies in your tummy. There was a certain sweetness behind it, too, that you weren’t used to. The type of need that Eddie was oozing ran far deeper than lust alone.
It was Eddie who broke the kiss, panting to catch his breath and nuzzling his nose against your cheek. His cheeks swelled as he broke out into the fondest of smiles. You softened under the weight of his heady gaze.
Your entire body ached for him. Eddie may have been content to focus on your pleasure all night long, but you thought you might die if you didn’t get the privilege of returning that favor.
Growing impatient, you were desperate to make Eddie feel good. You straddled Eddie as smoothly as you could, settling yourself in his lap. You locked eyes with him and kept your gaze steady as you pressed your dripping core harder into his erection, slowly dragging it for friction as much as his grip would allow. A low growl came from him as he blinked up at you with his wide chocolate eyes. A greedy hand grabbed at your ass, as the other lifted your wrists to his face. Eddie pecked soft kisses to your knuckles, the heel of your palm, and just above the metal cuffs. He pulled back just enough to see you properly, still stroking your hands with his.
“You’re gonna be the death of me,” he told you. Eddie’s smile never wavered. It had been a joke, but he meant it; part of him wouldn’t mind if you ripped his lovesick little heart from his chest and never bothered to give it back. He would let you with a smile.
He was painfully hard; you could feel it with every rock of your hips against his. The deep ache within him felt like your own, like every throb of his cock was your heartbeat.
“Eddie,” you whined. “Baby, please, I wanna make you feel good now”
Something inside his head short-circuited at the filthy words leaving your sweet, vanilla-scented lips. “Jesus fuckin’ Christ,” he muttered to himself. With a heavy swallow, Eddie nodded. He gripped your hips tightly.
His thumb drew mindless shapes against your skin. “Think you can handle more?”
“Mhmm,” a breathy moan escaped you at the feeling of his cock twitching beneath you.
“Tell me if it’s too much, ‘kay?”
You gave a single nod, “Yes. I will– just, please, Eddie, I want you to fuck me.”
Eddie planted a searing kiss to your lips. He pulled you from his lap and set you down on the bed next to him. You watched with awe as he finally pulled his boxer briefs off and kicked them away. A rush of want swam around your head and in your core as you took in the heavenly sight of his nude form for the first time.
You truly weren’t prepared for just how perfect he was. The tip of his dick was a needy red, painfully erect, and dripping with pre-come; the length curved to the left and was just the right girth.
The kiss he pressed to your lips once he’d fully stepped out of his jeans was sweet and short. He kicked the fabric aside and leaned further into you, gently using the force of the kiss to guide you back against the mattress. Eddie’s left hand pushed your cuffed wrists over your head, where he wanted them, while he pumped himself a few times with his right.
“Ready, angel?” He asked.
This time, Eddie accepts the slow nod you give him. He tapped his tip against your swollen clit, lips curling devilishly at the whine that escaped you. Tease. Eddie gave you very little time to feel sorry for yourself before giving you what you needed.
With one slow, measured movement of his hips, Eddie thrusted fully forward. He planted his palms against the mattress to hold himself up and get better control. His breathing was shallow and ragged, eyes squeezing shut, at the feeling of your pussy adjusting and stretching to accommodate the curve of him. The stretch was a sweet ache, and you’d never felt so full. If you’d thought Eddie was everywhere before, he was the only thing now.
His hips pistoned into you at an unrelenting pace. After so long of ignoring his own need, Eddie chased any relief he could get. And this, burying himself balls-deep inside you, was better than any drug in existence; it made him feel like a virgin all over again. A string of expletives left his lips that would have confused you if you had enough presence of mind to pay attention.
Eddie lifted your hips further up, twisting just so to ensure every pump slammed into you at just the right spot. It knocked the breath out of you until your lungs burned with every gasp and whine. The curve of his cock was made for you, made to fit right against your g-spot with every pass.
You thought of running your fingers through his hair. But, of course, when you pulled at the handcuffs, you were unable to get at him. A deep chuckle rumbled in Eddie’s chest that stoked a fire within you and reminded you exactly why you had plucked them from their hook in the first place.
Your third orgasm loomed at a rate that must have been some sort of record. Eddie had you too cock drunk to care, though. It was like you were floating and a lucid part of your brain wondered if the heat of your pleasure had set you ablaze and you were watching yourself from above.
Eddie lifted himself away from you enough to get a good look at every inch of you— your plush lips parted in pleasure, brows furrowed, eyes glistening and pupils blown wide, the bounce of your breasts in time with his thrusts, the way his hand looked as he splayed it wide over your lower stomach, meeting just over where his cock hit your walls. He did his best to commit every last detail to memory.
His thrusts became sloppier, nearly stuttering, with the way your walls tightened.
“You close?” He managed, but it wasn’t much of a question. “Come on, good girl, come f’r me, just one more. That’s it”
As if your words summoned it, you spasmed and contracted around him with your third and final orgasm. Your back arched clear off the mattress like a woman possessed, weak and held up largely by Eddie’s tight grip and where he was still fucking into you. The squeeze of your cunt around him was too much, and Eddie let out a guttural groan of your name as he came. His come was warm and foreign inside you.
Eddie collapsed onto you, the last of his strength he had been using to keep both of you upright finally giving out. His face nuzzled into the crook of your neck, panting into your sweaty skin until he caught his breath again.
“Well,” he muttered. “Fuck. That was… fuck.” You chuckled in response and Eddie lifted his heavy head, not willing to miss a single second of it. “Yeah,” you agreed.
Eddie slowly leaned down to your bound wrists, pressing a kiss to the sore skin.
“Here,” he helped you slowly sit upright in the bed. He pressed one last peck to your temple, then finally peeled himself away from you and his damp bed sheets. Eddie glanced around his room, ready to retrieve the key and free you, when your sweet voice pulled him back to you.
“So,” a playful smile spreaded over your lips. “You still wanna see that trick?”
Eddie hummed. He turned back to you, pulling his boxers back up to rest lowly on his hips with his eyes locked on you. His heart skittered as you blinked up at him.
“Ta-da!” you lifted your now-empty wrist to show off.
Your trick was impressive. Sure enough, you had freed your wrists from the bounds and the second cuff dangled from the chain, tapping against your forearm. If anything, it only made Eddie’s heart swell with the knowledge that you could have gotten yourself out of it at any time but you hadn’t, for him.
“Color me impressed,” he said.
Chuckling, you leaned in to him. Eddie keened, melting against the gentle touch of your newly-freed fingers against his face. Slowly, you pressed your lips to Eddie’s. The kiss was lazy, slow, and heavy. Your lungs burned as she breathed him in.
The unmistakable glow of headlights shined through the curtains as someone pulled up to the new Munson trailer. It was enough to break the delicate bubble of you and Eddie’s post-coital bliss.
Eddie grumbled, lifting a hand to shield his eyes. You lifted yourself to pull the fabric aside, taking a peek at who had pulled up. Panic inched up your spine as you recognized the car.
“Shit,” you whispered. “Shit, Eds, it’s Steve.”
The headlights cut off, and you sprang to action. In your haste, you hadn’t paid any attention to where your clothing ended up. Your knees nearly buckled under your weight as you stood. With burning cheeks, you hushed Eddie’s cackle and could practically see his self-satisfied smirk without turning to look at him.
With Steve only moments away from catching you in far too compromising a position, you yanked your shirt as far down your hips as it would go and decided that would have to do; you couldn’t see your panties anywhere and you had no time to hunt them. Eddie, who seemed to have no trouble redressing himself, tossed your tank top to you. It was just over your head as you heard three telltale raps at the door to the trailer.
Eddie’s long legs allowed him to rush ahead of you and lead the way to answer the door. His grin didn’t dull one bit.
“Relax, angel,” he assured you. “It’s just Steve.”
You really weren’t sure if that made you feel any better or it was somehow worse. Eddie’s touch burned as he slung an arm around your shoulders and you weren’t able to think about it any longer.
“Harrington!” Eddie beamed at the younger man as he stepped inside the trailer.
Steve offered him an odd look at the uncharacteristically chipper tone but pushed past the pair of you and continued his beeline to the kitchen. He grumbled under his breath as he yanked open the fridge. Steve snatched the last cold beer and slammed it shut after himself.
You shared a brief glance with Eddie. Raising an eyebrow, you asked:
“I take it your date went well?”
Steve groaned again. Even his hair looked sad, drooping, as he shook his head. He opened the can and took a heavy swig. It told you everything you needed to know about his latest failed attempt at romance.
“That bad, huh?”
Eddie’s laugh is maybe a little louder than he meant for it to be, but there was no malice in his voice. Only then, as he set his beer down on the counter, did Steve properly look at you and Eddie for the first time since he arrived. It took him longer than it should have to notice something was off. When he eventually did, though, Steve’s jaw lowered. He blinked at his friends a few times as if he had somehow imagined it.
You were worse for wear. Where you had it neatly styled when he dropped you off, your hair was tousled and messy, tank top askew on your torso. The thin fabric did little to hide your pert nipples from his sight and, holy shit, was that a hickey? Your lips were kiss-bitten and swollen, a matching set to Eddie’s, complete with spit and the gloss of your vanilla lip sheen. But all of that was nothing compared to when his gaze lowered towards your thighs. Steve struggled to look away, though he knew he should, but he was mesmerized with the sight of Eddie’s cum dripping down your thigh.
Only then, when he could still clearly see the single handcuff clasped around your wrist with its counterpart dangling at your side, did Steve say anything.
“It smells like sex in here.”
When no one responded, Steve trudged on:
“Were you two just– oh!”
Steve’s chocolate eyes widened slowly with the realization.
You glanced over to lock eyes with Eddie. He barked out another laugh, his dimples popping with amusement.
“Sorry, Stevie,” he teased. “You just missed the show.”
Your fist didn’t even budge him as you smacked Eddie square in the chest for his lewd comment. He gently caught your wrist and snaked your fingers around his to hold your hand.
“Wait,” Steve flitted his eyes between you and Eddie. He called your name softly. “Is this why you didn’t want me to drive you here?”
“No!” You shook your head. “No, I just, uh, didn’t want you to feel like you had to or anything.”
Steve knit his eyebrows. “You’re never a burden, kid.”
Steve’s pretty face pinkened as he took in your disheveled appearance once more. You pulled uselessly at your skirt, as if it might grow longer. He hadn’t noticed he was staring until you squirmed under the heat of his gaze.
Eddie slung his arm around your shoulders easily, pulling you close. Cocking an eyebrow, he called, “Aw, Harrington, you’re just jealous I got to her first.”
“Wait, what?” You glanced between the two boys, brow furrowing.
The glances they shared conveyed some secret conversation you didn’t understand. You raised your brows, asking one of them to clue you in on their little secret.
Steve didn’t deny it when Eddie spoke for him:
“He thinks you’re pretty,” he batted his eyelashes at you, teasing.
“Fuck off, Eddie,” Steve whined. He turned to you, dipping his chin shyly. “But I, uh, yeah.”
It was just a fact. You were beautiful, and Steve didn’t see why he should have to pretend that was a secret.
Your stomach flipped.
“Okay, well,” you stepped out of Eddie’s grasp and towards Steve. You picked his beer up from the counter and drank from it. Gently, you squeezed his shoulder and grinned. “Thanks for the ride, Steve.”
Steve’s pretty face darkened to scarlet, sparkly eyes blinking rapidly. He swallowed thickly and muttered out a weak response. You had them both watching your every movement as you carried the beer towards the living room.
“Now,” you called over your shoulder. “Who wants to watch a movie?”
You smirked into the beer as the boys scrambled to race each other to the couch, arguing amongst themselves about who got to sit next to you. Mentally, you decided you needed to thank Robin for ditching you tonight.

Pt3/5
Read from the beginning | Ao3 link
Robin's rant leaves an ear-shattering silence behind. Eddie shakes his head, like he can get the fog out of his brain in the same way a dog gets water out of its fur. It doesn't really help as well as he was hoping, though.
He slowly walks out of the backroom and into the garage. He's the only one there this morning and he makes his way to the old boombox in the corner, where he pushes one of his favorite cassettes – Seventh Star by Black Sabbath – in the player and cranks the volume dial up all the way to the right.
It's a quiet morning, with no customers waltzing in and barely any phone calls. Eddie is glad to be alone and have some time to come back to himself. The music attacking his eardrums, in combination with the familiar movements of cleaning up the garage, helps him organize his thoughts. He keeps replaying everything that happened since Steve showed up at the trailer yesterday night in his mind’s eye, trying to make sense of it all.
When Steve asked him out last month, Eddie hadn't seen any reason to say no, even though he didn't fully trust him. Surely they could have some fun together. As long as he'd make sure to properly guard his heart, Steve wouldn't be able to hurt him anyway.
But it soon got tricky: Steve turned out to be better company than Eddie had expected. The time they spent together wasn't solely about their bodies, like Eddie had expected of someone like Steve Harrington. No, Steve took him out on all kinds of original dates, he actually seemed to listen when Eddie was rambling about random nerd shit, and he always treated Eddie with respect. By the time a month had passed, Eddie was getting worried about the way his stomach started doing cartwheels every time he saw Steve. And when Steve surprised him with flowers last night – something nobody had ever done for Eddie before – he got the confirmation that Steve had been playing the exact game Eddie had wanted to avoid all along.
He had been sure of it: all Steve wanted was to know that he could have anyone he wanted, that even the Freak of Hawkins High would fall for his charms. And he'd walk away as soon as Eddie would try to turn them into something more. And all Eddie knew, as soon as he saw the flowers in Steve's hand, was that he had to keep him at a distance or he would actually fall in love in a way that he would possibly never be able to come back from.
In stark contrast to those memories, his conversation with Robin is still ringing in his ears, no matter how loud Danger Zone is blaring through the garage. Her voice keeps drowning out the music, telling Eddie on a loop how he is the one who has been playing a cruel game all along.
Steve is in love with him. Steve thought they were in a real, proper, actual Relationship with a capital R. And he, Eddie Munson, king of blind loser rats with bricks for brains, broke Steve's heart because he thought Steve was breaking Eddie's. Because he couldn't see past the high school stereotypes that apparently everyone around him had already long grown out of.
A nauseating cocktail of guilt, shame and repentance is brewing inside of him. He needs to get out of here. He needs someone to talk to; a voice of reason, someone to tell him what to do, someone to let him know if it will even be possible to fix this at all. Someone like Jeff.
But unfortunately Jeff also has a life of his own and he was just leaving for his shift at the RadioShack when Eddie called him in the morning, so Eddie concludes he'll have to settle for the one person he knows that is most like Jeff: Jeff's mom, who he knows is currently at home baking her famous chocolate pie.
He calls Richie to tell him there's a family emergency. Against all odds, luck is on his side this time: Richie appears at the shop to take over within half an hour and Eddie leaves the garage with screeching tires. He rings Jeff's doorbell like his life depends on it and when it finally opens he's looking into the familiar smiling face of Aunt Pauline.
She's not actually he's aunt, of course, but that's what Eddie has been calling her ever since he first met her. It was back when the word Aunt only meant the female version of Uncle, and the word Uncle meant nothing more to Eddie than someone taking care of you when your parents wouldn't. If Wayne is the father he never knew he needed, Aunt Pauline is the mother he desperately missed.
'Who's dying this time?' Aunt Pauline asks. It's a joke between the two of them that goes back ages, stemming from Eddie's tendency to ring her doorbell like a maniac every time he would show up at Jeff's house. Jeff's place was the first real house with a real doorbell that Eddie visited, and while his fascination with doorbells has faded over the years, his bond with Jeff's mother has only grown stronger.
'I am,' Eddie answers dramatically, stabbing himself in the heart with his hands.
Aunt Pauline chuckles as she steps aside to let Eddie in.
'Jeff's at work,' she tells him. 'But I'm glad you stopped by. He told me to save some pieces of my chocolate pie for you. Everything alright?'
'I have a question for you,' Eddie tells her urgently.
She raises hands covered in flour at him. 'I was kind of in the middle of something,' she tells him. 'But if you help me with my pie, you can ask me anything, how does that sound?'
'Hm...' Eddie pretends to think it over for a second. 'Okay, deal. But I get to eat as much dough as I want.'
'As long as you spare some for me, you can do whatever you want, kid,' Aunt Pauline says over her shoulder while she disappears into the kitchen.
Eddie quickly trails after her.
'Do you remember how I always said I wanted to marry you when I was younger?' he asks.
'How could I ever forget, Eddie?' She looks at him with a fond smile while she shoves a bowl his way. 'Here, knead this while I melt the chocolate.'
Eddie takes off his rings, one by one, and proceeds to wash his hands.
‘I wanted to marry you because you were basically perfect, you know? You always have been, for as long as I remember.'
Aunt Pauline huffs.
'What were you like in high school?' Eddie asks when his hands are covered in flour and sticky with butter.
'Huh.' She pauses, takes a moment to think before she lights the fire underneath a pan with a bowl filled with chocolate on top of it.
'I was...' She chuckles. 'I was very different from you and Jeff, that's for sure. I was on the cheerleading team.'
Eddie gasps dramatically. 'You weren't!'
'Oh, yes, I was. Got the pictures to prove it if you don't believe me.'
'No need to traumatize me with that, but thanks.'
'Hey, I looked good in that uniform!'
'Don't make me think about it.' He shakes his head, getting serious again. 'Did you do anything you regret?' he asks her.
Aunt Pauline laughs. 'Good thing Jeff isn't here,' she says with a wink. 'Of course I did. Who didn't, in high school?'
'No, I don't mean, like, dumb shit,' Eddie clarifies. 'More like... Mean shit.'
Her mischievous smile morphs into something more melancholy. 'Dumb shit, mean shit... I did it all,' she says. 'No one was perfect in high school.' That signature twinkle returns to her eyes when she adds in a teasing tone, 'Except for you, of course.'
Eddie snorts. 'So when exactly did you turn into this perfect human being?' he asks her.
'You know damn well I ain't perfect, boy,' she says, shaking her head. 'But let me give you the boring answer: growing up certainly helped.'
Her answer sinks through Eddie's ear canal towards his stomach, where it settles uneasily among the guilt and shame that were already there.
'Are you gonna tell me what this is all about?' Aunt Pauline asks him after the kitchen has been filled with silence for a while, only disturbed by the sounds of a Tina Turner record playing in the living room.
'I think I made a terrible mistake,' Eddie quietly confesses. He doesn't look at her, but instead stares at the sticky dough between his fingers. He suddenly feels like a little boy again.
'What did you do?'
'I broke someone's heart,' he says. 'Because I didn't believe he could change.’
'Oh, Eddie,' Aunt Pauline says. The way in which she pronounces his name is enough to make him tear up: not angry, not reproachful, not even pitying.
'People always keep changing,' she says. 'No one's personality is set in stone. Especially when you've only just finished high school: there's still so much to explore, so much to discover about yourself and the world. You become more conscious of who you are, and who you want to be, and what you have to do to become a better version of yourself. You can't go through life putting labels on people and never taking them off again.'
'Guess I learned that lesson exactly one day too late,' he states with a sigh.
'Hey now, listen to me, Eddie,' Aunt Pauline says. 'You will always keep changing, too. So you can take this lesson, whether it's one day too late or half a lifetime, and use it to fix your mistakes. And if that boy you're talking about has enough experience with learning from mistakes, he'll know exactly how important it is to be forgiving.'
Next part
Okay, ngl, this was definitely one of the more difficult parts to write. I hope that it sufficiently made clear where Eddie is coming from, even though it obviously doesn’t excuse what he did (and I also hope you like the addition of Jeff's mom. Idk why but every time I write about Jeff his mom just materializes. It got out of hand this time. Shout-out to my beloved Liam @withacapitalp and Cass @henderdads for giving her a cool name!) (And credits to @stevesbipanic for picking the album Eddie listens to ily)
And on another note: HOLY SHIT i genuinely cannot believe that so many people were asking to be tagged on this story! I honestly consider it a huge compliment so I’m happy to spend a few seconds adding you to the list, it’s the least I can do for someone who tells me they enjoy my writing. Buuut to make it as manageable as possible: i’d prefer tag requests in the comments and not in the tags when you reblog. I do read all the tags religiously and they all warm my heart, but it’s way easier for me when I can find all the urls in the same place :)

Tumblr media
It’s been a long day and you were absolutely exhausted. You felt like you were going to pass out, you quickly changed into your pj’s and as soon as your body hit your bed you practically melted. Not too long after that you fell asleep, if only you would have enjoyed it.
Your right leg bounced as you stared at your phone, you bit on your nails and your younger brother gave out a huff. “Staring at the phone isn’t going to make him call. You’re just making the waiting ten times worse,” your younger brother said, taking the seat beside you. You sighed and rubbed your hands anxiously up and down your thighs.
“He said he’d call as soon as they were done. It’s been forever! Why the hell hasn't he called yet?” You knew the possible answer but couldn’t bear to say it out loud.
“I’m sure he’s fine, fighting ghost face doesn’t seem like a five minute type of thing.” You had gotten a call from Dewey earlier saying he was going to the hospital because ghostface was there and reassured he’d call you right after if he got back safely. If. You didn’t like that if he snuck in there. He talked to both you and your younger brother, it was like he was saying goodbye. As if he knew this would be the last time he’d talk to either of you. They must’ve arrived at the hospital because you could barely get a word out before he gave one last “Bye, I love you guys” and hung up the call.
You had thought about going to the hospital yourself but your brother was strongly against it. He blocked the door when you tried to leave, not wanting you to fall victim to ghostface. It had happened before in your family and he refused to let history repeat.
An hour later was when you found out. When you got the call you immediately took your brother and rushed down to the hospital. You felt numb as you watched Dewey’s lifeless body being covered by a tarp. I should’ve been there, you thought to yourself repeatedly. You looked over to your brother, his eyes never pulled away from the tarp that covered Dewey. He broke out into sobs as you held him close, still in shock that this was actually happening.
As soon as you and Gale made eye contact, she ran up to you and hugged you both tightly. You couldn’t stop thinking about how you just sat there, safe and sound in the trailer while Dewey was gutted in cold blood.
You woke up, covered in sweat. You rubbed your eyes before frantically looking at your surroundings. You weren’t in Woodsboro anymore, you were in your apartment in New York. You sat up in your bed while breathing heavily.
You’ve been having the same dream– or well, nightmare ever since Dewey’s passing. Your mind refused to let you forget the day you just sat there as the closest thing you had to a father figure was taken from you.
You were exhausted. You barely got two hours of sleep last night, constantly being met with the same memory. With Dewey’s death anniversary getting closer and closer, the nightmares were only getting worse. It was now five am, there was still a lot of time to pass before class started. You took a shower to wash off all the sweat you made from tossing and turning. By the time you finished getting ready it was only six am.
The rest of your morning was spent watching Brooklyn Nine Nine while enjoying a bowl of cinnamon toast crunch. You eventually left your apartment, making your way to your first class. Unfortunately, you had history which meant you were stuck with Tara once again.
No matter how many seats were vacant, she always chose to sit next to you. It put your teeth on edge but you knew she was doing it solely to piss you off. Goodness, she was annoying.
When you arrived you sat down and immediately put your head down. You almost fell asleep until there was a loud slam by your head. Tara had slammed down one of her books and sat down in the seat beside you.
Your head shot up as you rubbed your eyes. “Morning to you too, princess.” You mumbled, still rubbing your eyes in an attempt to rub away the exhaustion.
“You look like shit,” she commented, putting down her bag. “You don’t look too good either.” You were already growing even more tired due to her presence.
The rest of the class went on like this, Tara making a comment and you returning it. It truly wasn’t that much different from Woodsboro. Always picking fights and at each other's throats. But if you were being honest with yourself, it was a nice distraction. Guess she was good for something but you’d never tell her that.
You were writing something down when a crumpled up piece of paper hit the side of your face. You turned to give Tara a scowl before opening up the paper.
I need to copy your notes, the note read. You rolled your eyes and turned to Tara. She was still facing the front of the class, you turned back and wrote your reply on the piece of paper. You threw it to Tara before going back to writing.
Fuck no, why can’t you just write them on your own?? Tara annoyingly exhaled before aggressively writing something else on the paper. She chucked it at you and it hit you near your eye. You huffed and read the paper once again, I can barely understand the words coming out of his mouth on top of him talking too fast!
You sighed and rubbed your temples, your sleep deprivation was starting to catch up. “After class.” You mumbled in defeat. Tara took the victory until she got lost in her own head.
This wasn’t like you. Usually you’d give up more of a fight, she had noticed your drained expression when she walked in. She decided not to dwell on the topic too much, this was you after all. It wasn’t like she knew you knew you. Just enjoy the win, Tara she thought to herself.
After you finished all your classes, you finally got back to your apartment in one piece. Your eyelids were heavy as you fumbled with your keys. Eventually you inserted your key and unlocked the door, you could barely feel your legs as you walked inside and your brain was all foggy. You nearly knocked over a lamp when you walked in. Anika noticed this and immediately rushed over to your side.
“Shit, Y/N. When was the last time you slept?” You mumbled something she couldn’t hear before landing on the couch. You let out a long sigh and put your hand over your eyes to block out the light that was directly above you.
“This micro-sleeping crap that you’ve been trying clearly isn’t helping,” Anika sighed while putting a couple pillows behind you.
“I’m fine.” You murmured even though it was a blatant lie. “I’m gonna go make you grilled cheese and heat up the leftover tomato soup.” Anika stated before walking off to the kitchen. You had previously mentioned to her how that combo always made you fall asleep when you couldn’t as a child. Anika noticed how in the past few weeks, you’ve been losing more and more sleep. She was worried about you but also knew you were too stubborn to accept help.
Fifteen minutes later, she came back with a bowl of tomato soup with a diagonally cut grilled cheese sandwich on the side. “Eat.” You whined in response but Anika wasn’t having it. She forcefully sat you up and pushed the coffee table closer to you. “You’re eating. No complaints. You can’t just live off of Cereal and Ramen Noodles.”
You reluctantly brought a spoonful full of tomato soup to your mouth.  “Says, who?” you mumbled with the spoon in your mouth. Anika only rolled her eyes and brought you a water bottle. Choosing not to argue any further, knowing she already won since you were eating.
You switched over to the sandwich when Anika sat across from you and asked,“Okay, what’s been going on with you?” She interrupts you before you can respond. “And don’t say ‘nothing’ cause it’s obvious it’s not nothing.” You looked back down the sandwich in your hand.
“I don’t feel like talking about it.” You answered honestly. Anika looked at you for a second before nodding in understanding. “That’s okay. But just know that I’m here for when you do feel like talking about it,” she put her hand on yours for a moment before getting up and walking to her room, knowing that you needed time to yourself.
You put down the sandwich and sighed to yourself. You stayed there on the couch for a bit, alone with your own thoughts. Each one telling you the same thing. You should’ve been there.
A few days have passed and a few weeks have passed since you’ve gotten a proper night’s rest. You were in history, Tara scoffed at a comment you made before you both heard the words “...group project. Pair up in two’s.” You and Tara looked around to see everybody else already pairing themselves off with other people.
And that was how you ended up at the Carpenter-Bailey residence. Even though you had insisted to your professor that you should work alone, he shook his head and told you that wasn’t an option. You made sure Tara knew you weren’t interested in starting the project last minute.
You sat down on their couch as you waited for Tara to come back from whatever it was she was doing. “Finally, let’s begin.” You said when she came back into view. “Still as patient as ever,” Tara quipped as she sat down a couple cushions over.
“Whatever, let’s just get this over with so I don’t have to be here any longer.” Just then Sam walks through the door, she kicks the door closed with her foot due to her hands being full from carrying groceries.
She looked up, unexpectedly to not just her sister but also you. Sam opens her mouth but before she gets a word out, one of the bags she’s carrying drops. You immediately get up to go help her. Tara furrows her eyebrows at your action.
“Thanks,” Sam mumbled as you both placed the bags down on the coffee table. “Don’t worry about it.”
“Tara, you didn’t tell me you were having people over.” She said, turning to her little sister as you sat down in your previous spot. “It was a last minute thing. We have a group project and unfortunately I got stuck with her as my partner,” Tara responded which pulled an eye roll from you.
“Love you too, Tar.” You quipped as you took out one of your notebooks. Tara elbowed you before continuing. “I’d introduce you but supposedly you two have already met,” Tara recalled that you’ve mentioned meeting Sam before.
“Yeah, I remember her now. She can stay, but if you go to your room make sure to keep your door open–” Tara blushed as you looked up from your notebook, moving your stare to Tara then to Sam then back to Tara.
“You don’t have to worry about that, Sam. Trust me.” Tara answered quickly. Sam looked between the two of you suspiciously. “Okay, but I still want the door three inches open.”
“Okay, okay” Tara sighed as she tilted her head back. Goodness, Sam could be so embarrassing sometimes.
A few seconds later, Sam finally left to put away the groceries. You bit your lip, trying not to laugh about what just happened. You found embarrassed Tara very amusing. “Shut up,” Tara said, elbowing your side again. “Let’s start, unless you plan to continue flirting with my sister.”
This caught you off guard. You turned your head to Tara and raised an eyebrow. “What?” Tara rolled her eyes, “I’m not stupid. You obviously like her and it’s so gross. That’s my sister, asshole.”
What made her think you liked Sam? Sure you noticed how she was tall, attractive and her arms- wait where was this going? Oh yeah, you did not like her like that.
“Tara, I don’t like your sister. Not like that.” She wasn’t meeting your gaze, choosing that the pages of her textbook were more interesting. “Sure. Can we just start? You were the one who wanted to get it over with.”
“Whatever.” You two started and throughout the duration you both argued over stupid things and chucked notes at each other as if you were still in class. After two hours, Tara started to get bored and hungry. You were in the middle of writing something when she let out a dramatic huff. “What now, princess?”
“You’re not the least bit tired or bored?” She asked, leaning back on the couch. You sighed and answered without looking up from your writing. “Tired? Yes, but that’s nothing new. Bored? It’s history. I’m not bored.”
“You always were such a nerd when it came to history. What was that thing you always said? Learn by making history or something?” You rolled your eyes, “You make history by learning history.” You finally looked up to see her slight smirk. She got the reaction wanted.
She always liked seeing you worked up. But specifically when it came to the things you were passionate about. Sometimes she would purposely miss-quote something from The Office or tell a historical event completely wrong just to get a reaction out of you.
You would furrow your eyebrows and get all grumpy and you knew she was just doing it to get on your nerves. And you had the same expression now as you did then. Tara took note of this and smiled to herself.
“I can tell you’re enjoying this very much.” You state before turning back to your writing. “Oh, very much,” Tara replied.  As you were turned away from the girl and focusing on the project, Tara was still inspecting you. She noticed how you still held a slight furrow in your eyebrows while your nose was a bit scrunched up.
“You gonna keep staring at me, weirdo or continue working on the project?” You commented without looking up. Tara gets a bit flustered when you call her out. “Actually I’m getting something to eat from the kitchen…without getting you something,” Tara responded while getting up and walking to the kitchen.
“Oh, woman, why must you wound me?” You call out, your voice laced with sarcasm.
It was now ten thirty and you and Tara were at least ninety percent done with the project. You both decided to call it a night and just finish it up next time.
You let out a tired sigh as you closed all your books and placed them in your bag. Sam walked in and noticed you packing your stuff. “Hey, Y/N I was just about to order some food. Would you like to stay for dinner?” She noticed you hadn’t eaten anything since you’ve been over and barely touched your water.
“She’s goo-” Tara started but you interrupted her. “Of course! I’d love to, thank you.” Staying meant pissing off Tara and you were all for it.
“Great, any food allergies?” Sam asked as Tara glared at you. “Nope.” You answered with a polite smile, feeling the younger Carpenter burn holes at the side of your head. Sam nodded and walked off to her room. Tara then immediately smacked your shoulder.
“Ouch.” You let out with a deadpan expression. “Cry me a fucking river. You’re just staying to piss me off,” Tara accused, still holding a glare.
“I’m neither confirming nor denying. But what I will say is that I enjoy getting you all worked up,” You replied with a smirk. You and Tara looked at each other, almost like you were in a staring contest.
“You know, you’re extremely infuriating.”
“Just for you, princess.”
Just then the doorbell rang and Tara got up to answer it. Sam came out of her room after Tara came back inside carrying the bags of food and walking over to the dining table to place them. You followed Tara and sat down after Sam and Tara did.
After five minutes of silence, Sam decided to try and make conversation. “So, Y/N,” You softly hummed and looked up from your food. “How’s college going?” Sam asked.
“It’s going.” You answered, pushing the food around on your plate. Sam nodded before asking another question. “So, you and Tara have history together?”
“Unfortunately.” Tara responded before you could. “She’s just a peach,” you added while giving a wry smile.
Then it got silent again. It was awkward, at least for Sam it was. You and Tara death glaring at each other from across the table wasn’t helping the tension. To be entirely honest, Sam wasn’t sure what to do. She knew you and Tara weren’t on good terms but she also knew you weren’t a terrible person. So, she had to be the bigger person and be at least decent to you.
You looked at your watch and put down your fork. “It’s late so I should get going. Thank you so much for dinner, Sam.” You started as you stood up.
“Of course, Y/N.” As soon as you left the apartment Tara went to scold Sam. “What the hell Sam?” Sam closed her eyes and sighed before turning her head to her sister. “Tara-”
“You seriously just let the most insufferable person to ever exist stay over for dinner,” Tara huffed while crossing her arms.
“You’re such a baby sometimes, Tar.” Sam said before getting up to put away her food. Leaving Tara to pout to herself. “I’m not a baby…” Tara mumbled to herself, her arms and legs were crossed.
“She’s just an ass.”
“Where are you going?” Anika asked as she saw you looking for your keys. “Out.” She rolled your eyes at your one word answer.
“Obviously but where? It’s Saturday, you should be taking that to your advantage and try to get some sleep,” your roommate elaborated.
“I’m fine. I had coffee—” You found your keys on the kitchen counter and grabbed them, “—I’m just gonna hang out with Henry. You wanna join? Henry said he doesn’t mind you coming.”
Anika sighed. “No, I’m good. I’ve got plans tonight.” She knew you weren’t going to budge no matter what she said. “But please, call me if anything happens. Okay?”
“Yeah, yeah ‘course,” you said before leaving and shutting the door.
It was supposed to be a quiet night that consisted of video games, drinks and food. That’s all it was…according to Henry. But when you walked in it was packed with people. You felt like the music’s volume would bust your eardrum and everybody was either knocking into something or someone.
Nope. Nope, nope, nope, you thought to yourself before turning around in an attempt to leave. But then a pair of hands gently turned you back around to face them. You were met with Henry’s face and he could tell you were not happy with him.
“Just hear me out!” Henry shouted in order to be heard above the music. You rolled your eyes at him before responding. “How do you expect me to do that with this music blasting?” You started, matching his volume. “You said it was just gonna be us, what the hell happened to the plan!”
“Jason’s apartment flooded and I had to take over hosting the party!” He answered, still seeing how pissed you were. “I’m sorry, man! This was a last minute thing, I’ll make it up to you! I swear!” You thought to yourself for a second before sighing. “Fine!”
Henry convinced you to stay by bribing you with drinks and that’s how you ended up hiding out in his room. Playing on his nintendo with a red solo cup on his night stand that you occasionally took a sip of.
While you were in the middle of beating Link’s ass the door abruptly opened. You looked up to find Tara who seemed to be flipping somebody off before turning to you. “Don’t.” Was all she said before collapsing on the bed, not far from your feet.
“Wasn’t gonna say anything.” You murmured before looking back at the nintendo. “You just did.” She responded in a muffled voice due to her laying down face first.
“What’s the matter, princess? Long night already?” You started, going against her wishes. She sat up, holding herself up by her arms. “Why do you care?” Tara narrowed her eyes at you as you simply shrugged.
“I don’t. Just…curious is all.” Tara crawled over to sit next to you, leaning her back against the headboard. As she started playing with her hands you looked down at them for a moment, noticing the scar on her left hand.
“What?” Tara asked with annoyance in her voice. “Nothing.” Was all you responded with before taking another sip from the red solo cup near you. Tara looked away and scrunched up her face slightly. As if silently scolding herself before speaking again. “Um, Sam told me by the way. What it is in a few weeks,” she started as you froze. You thought there’d be at least one person who wouldn’t bring it up.
“If you like– need anything or whatever, you can talk to me about it. Not a lot of people have been through what we have.” You continued to look down at the nintendo, you hated when people tried to comfort you. You hated feeling like the victim.
“Could you quit that?” Tara furrowed her eyebrows in confusion. “Quit what?” You let out a huff before answering her. “Quit being so nice to me. It’s weird. I don’t like it.”
“Would you like me to verbally harass you instead? Cause’ I’ll gladly do so.” Tara quipped with a  deadpan expression. “Aww, there’s my girl.” You reached over and pinched her cheeks. “You’re an idiot,” she said as she shoved your hand away.
“But seriously, stop with this mushy shit.” Tara scoffed at you before responding. “It’s not my fault emotions make you uncomfortable.” It was your turn to scoff. “Accusations, false accusations.” You shook your head a little as you said this.
Tara noticed how you avoided the previous subject but didn’t say anything. Sam said she should try to  talk to you about it. And that’s what she did, she tried.
A pillow flew to your face, “Oh, real mature.” You grabbed the pillow and threw it back to her. “I’ll remember that the next time your guard is down while I’m near a pillow.”
“Sure you will, Y/L/N.” Tara quipped. “You’ll see.” You continued as you started getting up. “Where are you going?” She asked with a raised eyebrow.
“Why? You gonna miss me?” You remarked with a smirk. Tara rolled her eyes, “God, you couldn’t leave this room soon enough.”
“You love me.”
“I hate you.”
“Correction, you hate how much you love me.”
Tara threw a pillow at you again as you stood by the door, “Get out!” Tara shouted, trying to fight back her laughter. Geez, I’m tipsy, Tara thought.
Eventually you left the room and left Tara alone with her thoughts. She let out a deep sigh as she laid down on the bed. “She’s such an idiot.” Tara mumbled to herself. But something was different about this idiot. About her idiot.
But you were still an asshole, she reminded herself. No matter how cute you may be.
Oh.
Maybe she’ll keep that thought to herself. Whenever she had these thoughts about you she reminded herself about all the things you’ve done and said to each other. She still found you insufferable and incredibly annoying, that was a fact. That doesn’t mean she hasn’t ever noticed you being objectively attractive before. Objectively of course.
She knew she hated you, she knew she hated your smug attitude, the stupid remarks you threw and how much of a control freak you could be. Tara also hated how you could charm your way out of most situations. It was unbearable but also brought her satisfaction that she was the few people you couldn't do that with.
You were an intolerable asshole who’s always gotten on her nerves.
Monday came by quick, when you got to history you sat at your usual spot. You were met with a hungover Tara, unsurprisingly. “Two nights in a row? What a rebel.” You quipped as she groaned, rubbing her temples.
“You’re not helping.” She mumbled with her head down. You leaned closer to her and whispered, “Wasn’t trying to.” You leaned back in your seat and took out your notes.
“Alright!” Your professor walked in. “Let’s get started,” He said before loudly clapping his hands together which caused Tara to jump as her hands flew to her ears. You laughed a little which earned you a shoved from the younger Carpenter.
Class went on and you and Tara did your usual routine which consisted of shoving each other, making petty comments and note passing.
Once class was over you got up and closed your books and started to make your way to meet with Anika for lunch. You were only a few feet away from the classroom when you felt a light tug on your shirt. When you turned around you saw Tara.
“Yes, princess?”  You asked, looking down at her. She looked kinda cute looking up at you. Over the years you noticed she had these puppy dog eyes without even trying. It’s even more amusing when she’s trying to be serious.
“I’m free tomorrow night if you wanna finish the project then.” She states, still looking up at you with those damn eyes. You nodded, “Alright, see you then.”
“No flirting with my sister though,” she said with an appointed look. “No promises.” You teased which got you a shove to the shoulder.
"Gross," Tara mumbled before walking away from you.
Guess you had to add “flirting with Sam” on the list of things that pissed Tara off.

7) My ex/family kicked me out into the rain. I have nobody else to call but you.
Maybe something like post high school and Eddie is your BFF and your living situation suddenly turns bad (abusive family, significant other broke up with you suddenly). He jumps at the chance to steal you away for himself comfort you.
best friend!eddie munson x fem!reader + my ex/family kicked me out into the rain. i have nobody else to call but you.
warnings: hurt/comfort. mentions of a sudden/tough break up.
Tumblr media
Eddie is the first person you think of as you’re staring at the thick raindrops hitting the steps of your apartment building, and the duffel bag at your feet, which now held the few belongings you could gather before being pushed out of your apartment.
His apartment — your ex’s — now. You guess you need to get used to calling it that.
You're not thinking about him, though. Your best friend is all you can think of as you walk through the streets of downtown Hawkins, letting the rain soak you through your old hoodie, carrying your bag on tired arms.
You think of his warm hugs, of his narrow waist squeezed between your arms as his are crushing you to his chest. You think of cold afternoons on his couch, each of you with one of Wayne’s mugs warming your hands, sitting in comfortable silence while the rain hit the metallic surface of their trailer. Of his scent, of the soft fabric of his band t-shirts, of ends of his hair tickling your skin.
You think of home.
It's the only thing that gives you enough strength to make your way to the auto shop, where you hoped to find him. With your luck, it would probably be his lunch time, or a day off. Tears stung in your eyes and the cold rose from your soaked feet through your jeans and your shirt, cold from the inside out, all over.
The older lady, who's name is a flower you can't remember, behind the front desk counter smiles at you. You hope she can't see how your lips wobble, you'd sure have to blame it on the cold. She gives you barely no time to state the reason of your visit, ushering you to sit, “Do you want some coffee, dear? You sure need to warm up! Here, I'll get him for you.”
A streaming mug is cradled between your hands in an instant. Her kindness brings more tears to your eyes, but you can't let them fall, not yet. From a distance, you hear her call him over. “Eddie, dear, your girlfriend is here!”
Neither of you have ever corrected her, or any of the men who work with him. To them, you were his girl. It felt right, even if you never said it out loud.
The plastic chair under you is cold, your skin is cold, the room is cold. The mug in your hands shakes with the force of your trembling, but the sight of Eddie entering the reception, long hair in a low bun, dirty coveralls over a long sleeve Metallica shirt he got on their last Summer tour, warms you all over.
“Sweetheart? What are you doing here?” There's no irritation in his voice, just confusion. His eyes are set on you, looking for any sign of trouble.
You don't reply, not with words. The mug you're holding is delicately placed on the chair next to you, and your wet bag is forgotten behind you as you launch yourself on him, and his arms promptly meet you halfway.
Camels, grease and motor oil. Cheap cologne, cinnamon gum. Warmth, soft and gentle. You're home.
Tears flow down your cheeks and transfer into his clothes. You're dirty now too, but you don't mind. His voice is soft when he asks again, “What's going on, baby? You're scarying me.”
The pet name is new, but the hand cradling the back of your neck isn't. It's familiar, safe. You sniffle before you can answer. Still scared and ashamed. “Can you keep holding me like this? Just for a minute.”
A soft kiss is pressed to the top of your head.
“All right. It's all right. I'll hold you for as long as you want.”

Brat Taming
Tumblr media
Summary: You’re a brat with Steve so he brings in reinforcements.
CW: daddy kink, daddy!steve, threesome, sir kink, sir!eddie, spanking, pet play, impact play, mean!steve, mean!eddie, shock collar, slight blood kink, degradation. I think that’s all?
Tumblr media
Steve is so open about you and his sex life. Maybe a little too open. You guys play very rough, your on the receiving end. That being said you almost always have bruises or cuts where either his belt or what ever he was using to spank you with broke the skin. He loved watching you bleed especially when you’ve been a menace all day. You loved him making you bleed although in the moment you’re crying and begging him for mercy.
He loves showing your marks off making you wear a short flowing dress that you can easily see the healing wounds. He like to gang up on you with Eddie. Loves to tease you, degrade you. But the best is fresh from a spanking going to Eddie’s and punishing you with degrading treatment while Eddie joins in and laughs at you.
-
You had been on your worse behavior, all because you wanted some attention. Well you definitely got it when, you stayed at family video Steve’s whole shift, bothering him. Complaining about how you were needy. Begging him to fuck you in the back when it was least busy. He kept his cool not showing you how angry he was actually getting. The last straw was you threatening to touch yourself without permission. “Baby, please don’t act like this I’ll give you what you want I only have 10 minutes left of my shift.” He coos softly. You nod with a huff. “Can you please wait in the car these last couple of minutes” he asks. “Sure” you reply walking out. You thought you were off the hook. That you had got one over on him. But you were dead wrong.
He tricked you by fingering you in the car on the way home, since it was a small ride it didn’t actually do much but you thought he wasn’t mad that he was going to fuck you when you got home. Instead when you got home you were bent over his lap as he spanked you with your least favorite paddle the one with holes in it. Then he moved onto his belt, which broke the skin. “Fuck! Daddy I’m sorry, please stop. S-Stop I’m sorry” you beg with tears flooding your eyes and running down your face. “A couple more” he states before cracking the belt back down on your sore redden ass.
After he was satisfied with the spankings, he pushes you up so you stumble on the couch whining at the feeling of the fabric on your wounds. “Go get cleaned and ready I’m going to Eddie’s for a couple beers.” He tells you before getting up and walking off. You knew it wasn’t over, if it was he would comfort you and clean you up himself. You had made his day a fucking nightmare all day at work as if having to work at a shitty ass video store wasn’t enough.
After you got cleaned up, you went to pick out something to wear. Steve walks in and rummages through your side of the closet before throwing a short flowing dress at you. “No panties, no bra” he states. Before walking out.
Once you got there, your nerves were racing you knew this wasn’t going to end well. The whole car ride was silent. “Daddy I really am sorry, I’ll be good I-” he cuts you off with a chuckle. As you pulled up to Eddie’s trailer the tears just started pouring. “Get out and go” Steve says. You shake your head ‘no’ fearfully. “What the fuck do you mean no? Get out” he states more agitated. “I’m scared” you peep still not moving.
Steve sighs and gets out the car and walks over to your side harshly pulling the door open. “No daddy. Please, please, I can’t, I don’t want to. I’m scared pleasepleaseplease” you plead fearfully. “You just made it 10 times worse for yourself” he says yanking you out the car before throwing you over his shoulder. By the time he got to the front door. You were sobbing uncontrollably. Eddie opened up the door with a smug smirk on his face. “Aww what’s wrong with her?” He asks with faux concern. Letting Steve walk through his door. Eddie follows behind him as Steve makes his way to Eddie’s room.
He tosses you on the bed causing you to yelp. “So I was thinking we fuck her full of our cum. Then make her crawl and sit next to our feet like the worthless pet she is. If she wastes a drop we tie her up and fuck her til she can’t take it anymore.” Steve tells him. “Perfect idea Stevie!” Eddie exclaims. “She’s your girl, you go first” he tells Steve. Steve grabs you by your legs pulling you closer to the foot of the bed. Letting your dress ride up.
After being fucked through 3 orgasms you were stuffed full of their cum. Then with no time for recovering. Eddie pulls you by your hair to the floor. Making you cry out, “I know you’ve been a dumb bunny all day but I did get you something and think this is the perfect time for it” Eddie says petting your head. You sit on your knees hands on you thighs waiting patiently. Steve stands next you, re doing his belt. Eddie comes back out of his dresser. “Hands out, eyes closed” he tells you. You obey, then once he places the item in your hand. He tells you to open. It was a collar, with a little pink heart in the middle. “Thank you sir” you smile gratefully. “Go ahead put it on” he insist so you do. Then he takes out the remote, pushing a button making you gasp as a shock rings through your body. “A shock collar?” Steve chuckles. “I mean isn’t that what people use to put pets in their place” he asks Steve. “They sure do, perfect for our bunny” Steve replies tapping your head. “C’mon bunny we’re going in the living room.” Steve says snapping.
They way they treated you made you feel so stupid, so dumb. But fuck, it made you so horny. You crawled after them head hung low with embarrassment. Eddie shocked you again making you squeal. “Hurry up, double time” he says clapping. You whine causing you to get shocked again. “Hey! Be grateful we are spending our time on you. We should tie you up in the room and leave you there so your not being a fucking bother” Eddie states. “Here Steve she’s the one who’s been wreaking havoc on you” he hands over the remote to Steve who gladly takes it.
As the night went on, Steve and Eddie drank a couple beers just enough for a light buzz. They have been talking about various topics that you lost track of what they were talking about, Steve would randomly shock you, changing up the the voltage every now and then. It’s been about 7 minutes since the last shock. You start to relax laying your head on Steve’s thigh. He looks down briefly before running his hand through your hair and rubbing your shoulder soothingly.
“So she came to your job? And stayed there all day?” Eddie asked. Steve nods taking a sip of his beer. “I’m telling you she just doesn’t fucking listen but when she gets over my lap shes fucking begging. Whining like a bitch.” Steve sighs. “Dude if I were you I’d buy a cage and put her in it, and leave the room.” He tells Steve. “But what if she safes out and I don’t hear her” Steve asks. “Baby monitor” Eddie shrugs. “That’s actually a really good idea. I’m gonna do that.” Steve states. “You want a cage baby?” He asks. You absent-mindedly nod. Steve shocks you making you jump slightly. “ I said do you want a cage” he state more aggressively. “Yes daddy” you speak softly.
“Move back” Eddie states. Your eyes widen you’d forgotten to keep the cum in. Then as you remembered you could feel the cum dripping out of you. You move back hesitantly, revealing a large wet spot. Eddie tuts at you, “Stevie, what will we every do with her? Can’t even listen to basic instructions”. Eddie looks at Steve. “Baby, we want to give you a break we really do.” Steve coos at you. You look down, tears forming back in your eyes. “I’m sorry I forgot” you peep. Steve eyes soften as he started to take pity on you. “How about we just eat her out and call it a day” he tells Eddie. Eddie scoffs, “your taking it easy on her?” He asks in disbelief. “I think she learned her lesson” Steve replies. “How about, we eat her out like you said until she cums 2 times for each of us. M’kay?” Eddie proposes. “Sounds amazing” Steve says. And with that a compromise was made. And a lesson definitely learned.

Hiii! Can i request Iso with a childhood friend reader whom he's so attached with for years until he lost contact with the reader. Present time, he was tasked to eliminate a certain target which was an escaped experiment of Kingdom (like omen in his trailer but with reader) so when he finds the reader and fought with her (he didn't get to notice that it was her due to the years they have been apart and her appearance that had changed, i like to imagine that reader had similar life draining abilities like reyna) but time passed he managed to recognize that it was his childhood friend if it weren't for the eyes that he adored so much.
im having an Iso brainrot rn, have a great day <33

Childhood Memories

Iso x Reader
CW : fighting, allusions to being abused by kingdom

Tumblr media
Iso had gone many years since he last saw you. His family had moved around a lot when he was a child, leading to meeting you through those fleeting years. He still remembers the fun he had chasing you around, the whispers between classes, and the inside jokes. He missed you terribly but with his job he had never bothered to reach out. He knew how some people felt about radiants and it had been a long time since he had seen you. For all he knew you could even be married by now..
He couldn’t think about that now though. He had a mission to do.
His body carried him as fast as it could, trailing behind his target. He hadn’t had his prey be this evasive in a long time. It was almost exhilarating. There was spice to this challenge.
“Stop.” You yelled out as you turned around. Your eyes widened as you took in your pursuers form. You couldn’t even bring yourself to drain the man standing in front of you. He was too much like him. Like Li.
“It's you and me!” He yelled out and you felt yourself be whisked away. The world was purple as you took in the shapes around you. You had realized quickly what this was. You weren’t stupid - you had heard about the bounty hunter before. You had to shake away your past and fight. Your life depended on it.
You warped and ran around the bullets as you shot back. After what seemed like ages you felt one smack into your ankle. Your body screamed for help but you had to keep pushing.. You had to escape.
“Stop, you're finished.” His voice demanded from above you. You looked up into his eyes as you had accepted your fate. It was a cruel twist of destiny to die at the hands of the only person you had ever considered your true friend. There was no way it wasn’t him.
“End me Li.” You whisper up and much to your surprise he crouched down. His gloved hand rubbed against your cheek as he stared into your eyes. You could do it. You could drain him at this distance. And yet you never did.
You moved your face into the soft touch as his thumb glided against your skin.
“Y/N?” His voice was hoarse and tears threatened to spill from his purple hues. You didn’t trust yourself to speak as you nodded up at him. His arms hesitantly reached out to wrap around you, his purple gulag washing away.
“It’s really you?” He whispered out against your shoulder as his body shook in tandem with you.
“It’s really me.” You affirmed and he pulled you back out to stare at you.
“I won’t kill you. I’ll help you out. But I want you to stay with me for a while. We have a lot of catching up to do.” His face was dead serious and you could feel your body slowly relax.
“We do. You wouldn’t believe what those people have done to me.” You choke out and Iso helps you to your feet. His eyebrows furrow as he hears your words.
“I doubt I’ll be anything but happy when I do hear about it. So let’s get home, Y/N.” His hand grips at yours as he gives one final soft look, tugging you along.
Let’s get home, Y/N.
You were finally free. And what funny world it is that your old friend was the one who broke the chains.

NOVEMBER 15TH, 1989
Eddie didn’t know why he was here in a hospital waiting room, waiting for any news for the man who caused him torment for most of his life until had kicked him out of the trailer.
His knuckles rests against his chin as his eyes stare at the shiny floor. He’d left work without a word. He still smelled of grease and had tied the arms of his work uniform around his waist. He still hadn’t called you or Wayne. He knew you’d be getting worried, especially if Warren, his boss, had called and asked if everything was okay at your end.
He glances up at the time, standing from the uncomfortable chair that had made his lower half numb from sitting. He walked towards an exit - he needed a smoke and to call you.
He’s reaching into his pocket, pulling a cigarette from the pack and lights the stick with shaky hands. He hadn’t had one in almost three months, trying to stop since you were pregnant.
He broke his streak all because of his father - if he could even call him that.
His eyes land on a pay phone when he blows out some smoke, walking towards it. He lifts the phone from the receiver, pulling his wallet from the pocket on his shirt, fishing out some quarters.
He slots two into the machine, deciding to call Wayne first. He still needed to collect his thoughts on what to say to you. He knew as soon as he heard your caring and tender voice, he’d break down.
It picks up after the third ring. “Hello?”
Maybe he shouldn’t have called anyone. He can feel the burning of tears.
“Hello?” Wayne repeats.
“Uh,” Eddie clears his throat. “Alan’s in the hospital.” Eddie used to call him Dad, of course. But now that he’s older, he feels like he never earned that title.
It’s silent on the other end and Eddie glances towards the door where he can see a nurse in green scrubs leave a room. He brings the cigarette to his lips and inhales deeply.
Eddie clears his throat again, looking towards the silver keypad. “If you… wanna come to the hospital, I’m here too.”
Wayne asks if you’re there with him.
“No, she’s… she’s still at home. Would you mind-”
“No. I don’t mind pickin’ her up. We’ll be there soon.” The line goes dead before he could even say anything. He looks at the last two quarters he had laid out before slotting them into the machine again.
You pick up on the second ring.
“Hello? Eds?”
His heart clenches a bit and brows pinch together. “Hi, sweetheart.” He hears a sigh on the other end.
“Baby, jesus. Are you okay? Where did you go when you left work? Why didn’t you call me? I was worried sick when Warren called me and told me you left in a hurry.”
He scratches at his throat with his ring and pinky - he’s trying to sooth the knot forming in his throat. He shakes his head to himself - don’t cry. Do not cry. He doesn’t deserve the tears. “I’m okay, sweetheart, don’t worry your head,” The cigarette seemed to have burned faster and he hisses quietly when the heat tingles at his fingers. He drops it to the ground, stomping it out with the toe of his boot before picking it up from the ground.
“Wayne is coming to pick you up.” He says.
“What? Why? Eddie, honey, what’s going on?”
His fingers scratch at his temple and he shifts on his weight. “I… I’m at the hospital. And before you freak out, I’m okay. At least, I think I am. It’s kind of hard to know what I’m feeling right now. Or understand it.”
And he wasn’t lying - there were a bunch of emotions swirling around his mind and he didn't know which one stood out more.
Bitterness because his life was actually turning around - he’d gotten into school to study for truck driving and he was doing excellent. He was about to have his own little family with you. And now, somehow, Alan had wiggled his way back into his life even if he didn’t know it just yet.
Anger because there was nothing he could do besides sit there and feel as if he’s losing someone - something - who was never in his life and doesn’t deserve an ounce of sympathy.
Shame because he's feeling that anger bubble up in his chest when he knows Alan never really knew how to be a father so he can’t blame him fully for his actions.
“Baby, I'm so sorry,” Your voice is soft and it sounds like it cracks at the end of your apology that you shouldn’t even be giving him. Because he doesn’t care.
Right?
“Wayne and I will be there soon. He just pulled in,” There’s a small weight lifted off his shoulders knowing that he won’t be alone in his thoughts much longer. “Have you tried to call Jess?”
The weight is added back on. Jessica, his oldest sister who he hasn’t spoken to since she had left, doesn’t know anything. He doesn’t even know if she would answer the phone.
“No.” He finally says.
You let out a small sigh, deciding to drop the subject since you know how tender it is. “Okay. That’s okay, honey. We’ll be there soon, okay? I love you.”
There’s a small catch in his throat and he blinks away the tears that had dried up once, and decided to come back. “I love you.”
The line goes dead on the other in and he’s placing the telephone back onto the receiver, sniffing when his nose starts to tingle. He stuffs his hands into his pockets, walking towards the doors he exited out of.
His fingers graze over two quarters and he stops in his tracks.
He turns back towards the phone and pulls the telephone from the receiver once again, slotting the coins in and punches in Jessica’s number. He’s hoping it’s the same number or he would just be embarrassed by punching in the number of a ghost sister.
The phone picks up and he holds his breath.
“Hello?”
It’s Jessica. And the only way he knows is because he sounds like their mother - soft-spoken with a hint of raspiness around the edges of the spoken words.
“Uh, Jessica?” He asks, even though he knows for sure it’s her.
“Eddie? What’s going on? You okay?”
“I don’t exactly know,” He says truthfully. “Dad’s in the hospital. The doctor said he doesn’t have long.”
It’s silent on the other end. He wonders if she is feeling the way he feels at the moment. Confused and conflicted about the way he feels.
For a moment, he thinks she’s hung up the phone and walked away like she did before.
He doesn’t blame her.
But then again, he hates that this is the only time that they’ll talk until something else happens. Eddie and Jessica are the same - whether they like to admit it or not.
There’s a small sniffle over the other end. “I don’t know why you’re calling me about it. I could care less. Let him die.”
That makes Eddie’s heart clench a little, eyes closing slowly as his brows pinch together. “You… You can’t even try to come down. To see me at least?”
“A car works both ways, Eddie.”
The line goes dead then.
He stares at the telephone when he pulls it from the curtain of curls and blinks, a tear rolling down his flushed cheek. It’s bitter outside and Eddie can’t help but think why didn’t I bring a coat?
Why did this have to happen?
What’s next?
It only takes thirty more minutes after the call with Jessica to see you walk in.
You pause in front of his seat, fingers brushing back the fringe that rests against his forehead. “Hi, sugar. I’m here.” It’s soft spoken and the world seems to shatter then.
His shoulders shakes as he sobs, fingers pressing into his eye sockets before his arms wrap around your waist, face pressing into the small bump that was hiding under the sweatshirt you wore.
Your eyes tear up from his sobs, a gut wrenching, soul crushing sob that comes deep from burying it inside a metaphorical glass bottle - it shatters and leaks over.
Because you thought you could handle one more thing going inside that bottle.
-
His head rests on your shoulder and Wayne had gone back first to see Alan.
‘It’ll give you a bit of time.’
Your thumb traces over his knuckles and you lift your shoulder slightly to catch his attention. “You okay, baby?”
He nods, lifting his head as he sniffles, nose red. He lifts his hand, wiping at his wet cheeks. He opens his mouth but you’re quick to cut him off.
“It’s okay,” He turns to look at you, brown eyes swimming in tears. His chin wobbles. Your hand lifts and you give him a small smile. “You don’t have to say anything right now. I know it’s confusing how you feel. But when you’re ready to talk, I’ll listen for however long you need me too.”
He nods, cheek sliding against your palm. There’s a clearing of a throat that catches his attention. He sees Wayne, a man who he’s only seen cry twice.
When Mary passed away - Eddie’s aunt who made the best homemade cobblers and had a singing voice you could never forget.
And when his own mother passed. A woman who smelled of cinnamon and hints of vanilla honey. A woman who truly was an angel and would do anything for anyone.
This makes Eddie’s third time seeing Wayne’s swollen eyes.
He’s crying for his brother now.
“You can, uh-” He pauses, clearing his throat as he shifts on his tired feet, blinking a couple of times as he sniffs. “You can go back and see him.”
Eddie looks over at you and you smile at him softly, leaning in to press a kiss to his temple. “I’m right here.” You whisper softly.
His eyes close momentarily and he nods against your lips before standing slowly.
His steps are slow, his mind's racing, and his hands are fuzzy. He makes a fist a couple of times before shaking them out.
The last time he’s seen Alan was when his face was plastered on the news for a break and entering he was running from - now he’s in a bed with tubes poked into his arm.
His breath hitches and he flinches when the heavy door closes.
He glances over his shoulder before walking towards the right side of bed, staring down at his hand. His own hand twitches at his side.
He lifts it, fingers tracing over the course and rough skin of his fathers hand. He watches as Alan’s fingers twitch and his eyes dart up towards his face.
His eyes are heavy, but they're open.
“Why did you hate me?” It’s coming out of his mouth before he can stop himself. He didn’t know what he wanted to say, or what he was going to say - but that wasn’t in his mind.
“Why did you hate us?”
There’s a slow blink and a small quirk at the corner of his lips. Eddie’s brows pinches and he feels the all too familiar sting in his eyes as he notices it.
Even near death, he’s a man dulled by any sort of emotion.
Eddie leans down slowly. “I’m so glad I’ll never be like you,” There’s a certain fire to his voice - raw emotion that makes the words crack. “Mom deserved better than you. Jess deserved a better father than you. I deserved better,”
His hands clench at the bedsheets. “Why? Why did you do what you did?”
He sees a small quirk in Alan’s lips again, anger burning in his chest when he hears the flatline. His head whips around before his hands grip at the hospital gown covering his chest.
“No! No! Why?! I want an answer! I deserve an answer!” The doors are opening and he feels a tugging at his arm. “No! Get off of me!” His arms slip from the grip and his arms are gripping at the tattooed arms of Alan Munson’s dead body.
“Wake up, you coward!”
“Eddie!”
“I hate you! I’m glad you’re dead! I wished you would’ve died sooner!”
He’s sobbing and hitting Alan's chest, but he’s still babbling, ‘why? Why did you make me feel this way?’.
Your hands pull at his arms, pulling him away from the lifeless body who left in silence again like he always did.
Eddie’s head drops onto your shoulder, knees buckling as he grabs at your shirt. Your hands smooth back his hair as your eyes watch them roll Alan away.
Wayne’s hand meets the back of his neck, gripping softly. Eddie chokes out another sob and turns to lean into Wayne. Your forehead leans against Eddie’s back.
Wayne’s eyes close, a hand cupping the back of Eddie’s head. “It’s okay… It’s okay, son.”
Wayne has to keep Eddie’s legs from buckling, his arm wrapping around his back and keeping him up straight as he sags into him.

NOVEMBER 20TH, 1989
There’s a certain distinct smell to old photos.
Eddie couldn’t describe it if he could, but he still pulls the photo up to his nose, eyes closing as he inhales, hoping to catch a whiff of the day that was frozen in time permanently.
His hand pulls away from his nose dejectedly, finger tracing over the small version of him standing in front of his mom, her hand placed on top of the sunflower floppy hat that she always loved to wear on sunny picnic days.
He always remembers those days. She would try her best - make finger sandwiches, little lemon bars, and pack some fruit and chips on the side - and Alan would sip a cheap beer on the open field, eyes filled with a certain emotion Eddie could never place when he was younger.
Now he thinks he could place it - Anger. Resentment.
“I hope he looks like you.” Eddie flinches when he hears your voice. He has no energy to turn and look at you - he feels angry at himself that he can’t, but you’d never hold it against him.
He feels you sit down on the rough carpet, the feeling of sandpaper scraping against the palm of your hands when you make a small noise. You lean into his side, pushing an unruly curl away from his cheek.
“You okay?” You whisper softly.
His thumb traces over the picture, blinking slowly. “I remember this day,” He says instead. Your eyes cut away from him and look at the photo. There’s a small smile that plays on his lips. “It was Wayne, Jess, Mom, and I only… That was one of our happier picnics.”
You smile and reach out to turn his hand a bit so you can take a better look at the photo. “She's beautiful. Now I know where you get your looks from.”
He smiles a bit and places it in the keep pile. There weren't many photos he was keeping.
The throw away pile was a bit more.
The next photo he pulls from the shoe box that had chewed holes from rats and a tear in the side was one that made him stop a bit.
Alan sits on the ratty flannel recliner that he always refused to get rid of, a beer bottle in his hand while Eddie sits on his lap.
Blind by child joy, he’s grinning - two missing teeth - as he waves at the camera, baby hairs stuck to his forehead.
Alan sits back, mouth pulled into a frown as he stares at the camera.
Your hand rubs at his back.
“He couldn’t even hold me right.”
You know what’s coming when your ears pick up on the catch in his voice.
He turns to look at you, lip wobbling as he shakes his head. “Why did he hate me so much?”
Your head tilts and you pull him closer to your chest, holding his head when you feel his shoulders start to shake.
You couldn’t answer that even if you wished you could.
-
There’s a knock at the door. Eddie glances over at you, shifting in the bed as he pulls the covers up more over your shoulder.
He places a kiss against your forehead, smiling softly when he notices your nose scrunches softly.
He turns and walks towards the living room, flipping on a light. He unlocks the door and swings it open.
“Hey.”
He’s a bit sleep disoriented from the little sleep he had. He blinks. “Jessica?”
She smiles softly. “I, uh… I couldn’t come to the funeral.” It’s too final. I don’t want to see him again.
He nods. “It’s okay.” I understand. You don’t have to apologize.
She scratches at her neck and clears her throat, a tell. He steps closer, staring at her for a moment, nodding slightly.
It’s choked but a sound leaves her throat and she tries blinking away the tears. His arms wrap around her neck, her own arms immediately wrapping around his side.
“I’m sorry,” She breathes out shakily. “I’m so, so sorry. I should’ve… I should’ve been there with you.”
He shakes his head. “Don’t apologize. You did what I wished I could.” He pulls away, giving her a small smile - it’s shaky.
“It’s… I should’ve called you more. I should’ve come to visit you more. Now… now you’re gonna be a dad.”
He smiles softly, nodding. “And you’re gonna be an aunt.”
The laugh she lets out is watery and she wraps her arms around his neck again. “You’re gonna be the best dad.”
His eyes squeeze shut at that because he’s been afraid. Afraid that he’ll become his dad even when he doesn’t want to.
“I’m so proud of you, Eds.” It’s whispered.
He lets out a little sigh, eyes peeking up at the stars. He watches as one shoots across.
Hi, Mom. I miss you.
“I’m proud of you too, Jess.”

Part 4: I Love the Darkness in You
------
The next morning while you were at the kitchen window, watering the one house plant you had managed to keep alive while you lived in your hearse, the news on the TV mentioned something about the Klemp family. Needless to say, you almost broke your neck trying to dart across the dark orange carpet in your bare feet to turn the sound up.
The news anchor woman with a bob of dark hair looked into the camera as images of the three people in question appeared in the right-hand corner of the screen. “...the remains of Angela Klemp, along with her stepbrothers Doyle and Clyde, were found unresponsive at the bottom of Burns Ravine this morning. Police speculate that they were driving on Highway 96 near Dead Man’s Turn, when their vehicle lost control and went off the edge of the cliff: none of them survived. In other news, Police are asking questions about the…”
You backed up so far, you kicked the coffee table and spilled your cup of soda and ice, cursing as you did so. Sopping up the mess with a few paper towel before it could get on the carpet, your mind returned to the night before when you’d watched vampire Eddie end each one of their lives in a blink of an eye. A blink of an eye, a twist of the wrist; movements that seemed to take no more effort than for a regular human to dial numbers on a phone.
Eddie was a killer.
But then you remembered how vulnerable he’d been while at the mercy of nothing but thin, silver chains that pinned him to the ground and sapped his strength. Angie Klemp and her brothers had obviously been very skilled at trapping and draining vampires, but the risk was huge, and so the payoff must’ve been worth it. You had a flashback of the man you called father; the sound of rattling of pills in his desk drawer, and how he would stay up for days on end. And then there were the other pills in a locked cabinet in his bedroom for when he needed to sleep. He had his own laboratory in the basement and that is where you could find him if you ever really needed anything---but it had to be an emergency. You’d spent many a birthday and holiday alone in your room, reading your books, until your father finally rushed up the stairs, flustered, begging for your forgiveness, and ready to take you out for pizza or whatever; but by then, it was already too late.
He was always very sorry, and you always forgave him. It had just been you and him for as long as you could remember, and there were a few warm, happy memories that you clung to in those lonely days.
With the wad of wet paper towels in your fist, you found yourself staring over the back of your TV, through the far window, at the daytime silence of Eddie’s trailer. If not for the vehicles and motorcycles parked near some of the homes, you’d think that it was an abandoned lot; no sign of life anywhere. But, you could hear the soft lilt of a Neil Diamond song, letting you know that Dolores had her radio out on the porch while she got a suntan on her face with the aid of an aluminum shield braced under her chin.
You didn’t have to work that night, but you had a few things to cross off your list, so you jumped in the shower. This was your second shower since the run-in with the Klemp family the night before, and you were having hard time feeling clean enough. You wrapped a white terrycloth towel around you at the end, dripping onto the bile-green tile, continuing to forget you needed a bathmat, and tried not to slip as you dried off. When you were finished, you dropped the towel on the floor to soak up the water and put your foot up on the toilet to begin the standard ritual of tending to your scars with vitamin E.
You had arrived at a point in your life when you didn’t think about the fact that your body looked like it had once been cut into pieces as often, but in the bright, artificial light of the bathroom, the long scar that crisscrossed over your left knee and went all the way up your thigh to your hip bone, felt so hideous that you had to look away. Wishing the bottle of thick, sticky liquid in your hand was magic and would erase the marking on your flesh forever, you flipped the top and squirted some onto your finger, massaging it along the gnarled fissure with care. You’d been tending to them all this way for a few years, and you had only noticed a small difference, but at least it was something.
The last one you always took care of was the one on your cheek from the corner of your mouth to your ear, and as you were applying the ointment, there was a knock at your door.
You’d been so caught up in your thoughts that you jumped. You were naked, so you quickly snatched the towel off the floor and wrapped yourself in it.
“Who is it?” You called down the hall.
“Chief Hopper,” a deep voice returned. “I need to ask you a few questions.”
-----------
Earlier that day, at the crack of dawn, Jim Hopper sat at the end of his bed, shirtless, in a pair of unbuttoned jeans, and rolled his neck from side to side. There were empty beer cans on the dresser, and a small glass vile of dark red liquid in the ashtray next to a smashed out butt with lipstick on it. He groaned as he stood, fastening his jeans, snatching his pack of cigarettes off the bedside table as he went.
A smoke and some coffee first, maybe some aspirin, and then a shower and shave. There was gray coming in his beard stubble now and he was reminding himself too much of his old man to just let it grow out, even though he knew a beard would help to disguise the double chin he had going on as he entered his 50’s.
“Age is just a number,” is something Joyce would say, and to that he would reply: “Yeah, well why do I feel so fucking old, then?”
Joyce Byers hadn’t aged in a decade; that’s the one gift vampirism bestowed upon its victims. Being immortal? Living forever? Jim couldn’t imagine a worse fate. If someone turned him against his will, he’d give himself over to the sun immediately.
Joyce had chosen the vampire life, though, and for that—a part of him would never be able to forgive her. Sure, their fling was long over, and she’d been with Bob for a while now, but goddamn—he used to be able to daydream about growing old with her later in life, and now he couldn’t even do that.
He cursed as something fell out of his pocket while he was searching for his lighter. It was another small glass vial full of dark liquid—but this one was almost empty---and he held his cigarette between his teeth as he bent to catch it before it rolled under the bed. Picking up the vial, he regarded it between thumb and forefinger so he could get a good look at how many drops were left.
God, he hated this about himself. He hated the way he measured the days of his week around how much he had left in the vials. Every morning, he promised himself that he’d quit, as soon as work wasn’t so stressful and he had some time to himself to stomach the withdrawals.
The kitchen was cold, and it sent a pang through his heart, making him wish there was someone there to make a pot of coffee and sit with him for a few minutes before he left for work. He’d give anything to hear bacon sizzling in the pan and smell fresh squeezed orange juice again while cartoons played on the television. Those days were so long gone, but he could feel both his wife and daughter there as if it were happening in that moment.
He felt the emotions rise in his throat and choke there, making him dig for the vial in his pocket. He knew there was another full one in the ashtray in his bedroom, but he had to make them both last until next week, and it already wasn’t looking good. He tore a tiny corner off of a paper towel, and then bent to unscrew the cap and tap two drops onto the paper, watching the dark red liquid bleed into the fibers. He then placed the square of paper on his tongue and let it dissolve with a hard swallow and some sink water to wash it down.
He squeezed his eyes closed, knowing that relief would be coming soon, if only for a few hours.
----------
The Chief?
You mouthed it to yourself, panic prickling your hair follicles.
“Um, just a second,” you gushed, scrambling to your bedroom to find something to throw on.
You couldn't help but think this had something to do with the Klemp family, and your mind raced to think of what you would say if he did ask. A pair of loose, worn jeans and a t-shirt were the first two things you grabbed, and you were halfway to the door when you realized that the shirt was inside-out and backwards with the tag sticking in your chin, but the Chief was already knocking again, and you decided to leave it.
Standing tall and broad on your porch, Chief Hopper was handsome and road-weary; brown hair slicked back with gray at the temples and a few strands of gray in his mustache. His posture was intimidating, but his eyes were sad. He took his hat off as you answered the door, brushed his hair back, and then settled it back in place at the crown. He looked like he hadn’t slept well in years.
He asked your name, and introduced himself properly with a firm handshake.
Dolores was standing a few yards away on the dead grass of your yard with her arms crossed, watching the interaction with a frown; probably wishing you’d invite her up on the porch so she could hear every word.
Hopper had a small notepad in his hand that he squinted at before lifting his gaze back to you. “Does the name Angie Klemp ring a bell to you?”
Your voice came out as a squeak, but then you cleared your throat. “Yeah, I just saw on the news that they were….that they didn’t…”
“But, you met her yesterday, correct? At the bar where you work?” He pretended to need to check his notes as if he wasn’t sure of the name. “At Main Vein?”
You hadn’t been the one who killed them, but still your nerves were twitching. “I waited on their table, yes,” you admitted, trying to act nonchalant by putting your hand in the front pocket of your jeans and bracing your forearm on the door frame. “But, what is there to investigate? I thought their truck went off the road?”
You knew maybe that last bit was too much, but the words slipped out before you could stop them.
“Well,” he let out a huff, flipping his notebook closed. “A witness said they saw them draining a vampire in your parking lot. Do you know anything about that?”
Your bottom teeth gnawed on your top lip thoughtfully, as if that was a scenario you would easily forget. “No, I’m sorry,” you blinked a few times, innocently. “They paid and left, but then I went back to work and I never saw them again.”
Hopper’s poker face was set. No one had confessed to seeing the Klemp’s try to drain a vampire in the Main Vein parking lot---but he knew that was a crime they were rumored to participate in. A vampire scorned easily had the strength to snap their necks and send their car off a cliff with its bare hands. Plus, Angie’s body had bite marks on her throat, and most of her blood had been drained. Sure, a fatal crash off a cliff could snap some necks, but how had her blood miraculously been drained to the bone without a drop of it anywhere at the crash?
“What about your neighbor?” Hopper lifted his chin in the direction of Eddie’s place. “He was there last night too, did you happen to see him interact with them at all?”
“No,” the answer was possibly a bit too quick, but you followed it with. “He was there, but he left before they did.”
You wondered how this line of questioning would go if Eddie’s blood hadn’t done the magic work of healing you so quickly. You’d have a rope burn around your neck, a black eye, a broken skull, and a few crushed internal organs.
He asked a few standard questions after that, like how long had you lived there, and a phone number to reach you if he had more questions. He took another long look at Eddie’s trailer before reaching in the front pocket of his shirt to pinch a cigarette out of the soft pack.
He slid the cigarette to the side of his mouth and snapped the pocket closed. “Okay if I ask a personal question?”
“Depends on what it is, I guess,” you answered, convinced he was about to bring up your scars, or perhaps ask if you knew your shirt was on inside out and backwards.
He inclined his head to the rest of the trailer park. “What the hell made a nice girl like you move to a place like this?”
You stepped back into the trailer, about to shut the door, but then you paused. “Maybe I’m not a nice girl, Chief Hopper.”
---------
Later that day, once you were back from running errands, you took out the stack of Polaroid’s you’d taken so far and spread them out on the walnut coffee table in front of the orange and brown wagon wheel sofa. There was Argyle giving the peace sign in one, offering a no-teeth smile with his eyes closed, the sleeping beige dog at Robin’s bookstore, a stone frog in front of a row of red tulips, an extreme closeup of Bob’s face when he tried to take a photo of himself, and a green Buick with the bumper sticker that said: “God Hates Fangs”.
You smiled to yourself as you looked at the others, lining them up in two rows, realizing it was time to put new film in. Your eyes stopped on the one at Robin’s bookstore, at the ass end and tail of the dog that slept on a large pillow behind the cash register. Was that the same dog who had come to your rescue in the alley way?
You’d gone by there again that day, because you liked bookstores, and found the smell of books comforting, but you were also starting to like Robin. Besides Bob, she had the friendliest face in town, and you felt oddly comforted in her presence.
She was up on a ladder when you walked into the store, putting some hardbacks away on a top shelf. She had on a thin white shirt with buttons all the way up to the neck, a long, fitted chocolate corduroy skirt passed her knees and slouchy leather boots that went up to mid-calf. Her glasses fell off her nose when she turned to look at who had just come in, but the beaded chain around her neck caught them as they flopped to her chest.
“It’s you,” she beamed, tucking hair behind each ear, descending the ladder. “I was hoping I’d see you again soon. I have something for you.”
“For me?” You couldn’t contain the shock in your voice. You’d barely just met her and you weren’t used to strangers being so generous and open-handed with you.
She stepped over the dog to get behind the cash register, and you bent down to get a better look at the dog’s face. Its eyes were closed, chin resting on its paw, but it was definitely the pit bull terrier that had rescued you the night before. You squatted down to pet the animals head.
“Have I introduced you to Lucy?” Robin asked, referring to the dog.
“I think we met by accident last night,” feeling the warm, velvet of her soft fur. “She came to my rescue, I guess you could say.”
You stood straight to find that Robin had been watching you pet Lucy, but then her gaze shifted away quickly.
“Lucy gets off her leash sometimes,” she told you. “But here, I found this tucked away in one of the used book boxes.”
You watched the long, graceful fingers of her hand, adorned in silver rings, slide a book across the top of the desk to you. It was the third installment of the series you’d been looking for. You picked it up and ran your thumb down the image of a woman in a hooded cloak on the front, flanked by two wolves.
You decided to browse around, and at one point, Robin came up next to you as she organized books on a shelf. “Did you hear about what happened to Angie Klemp and her bothers? The whole town’s been talking about it.”
You held your breath on an inhale for a beat and then, “Yeah, I heard about it on the news this morning. I just waited on their table last night and now this.”
Robin walked around to the other side of you, brushing into you a little with her arm as she went, her intense body heat blazing you like a flash of 90 degree heat. “I know you’re new here,” she began keeping her eyes to the books. “But I feel like I wouldn’t be a decent friend if I didn’t warn you to keep your distance from the vampires around here. I know a lot of them are nice, and are trying to do their best to integrate, but they’ll always be dangerous.”
You didn’t say anything in return, and so she continued. “I know I’m basically a stranger, and you have no reason to trust me, but I just want you to be safe.”
“Thank you,” you responded in a whisper. “I generally keep everyone at arms length be it vampire or human, so it shouldn’t be a problem.” You chuckled a bit self-consciously at the end, and Robin continued down the isle with her armful of books, wondering what she could say to make you stay and talk for a bit longer.
-------
Back in your trailer, with the Polaroids spread out in front of you while you put new film in your camera and watched an episode of Forensic Files, you hadn’t noticed the sun set until you heard the door to the trailer next door open and slam shut.
Vampire Eddie was up and about.
Not that you cared.
But you stood up and moved like you were going to the kitchen to see if you could get a glimpse of him anyway.
Of course, he was looking up at your window as he took a pull on his cigarette, and your eyes met. He bucked his chin at you, grinning, knowing that you’d probably had a dream about him already, and he wondered if you’d enjoyed it.
You went to the kitchen to slap together some cheese and crackers because you didn’t have much food in the house, but then you realized you probably should let Eddie know that the police had come around asking questions so that he wasn’t caught off guard. You went out on the porch, but didn’t see him anywhere. Had he gone back inside? He’d just been standing there 3 seconds ago.
“Eddie?” It was barely a whisper, a sigh on a stolen breath.
In a flash, he appeared; standing below your raised porch balcony, tilting his head back to look up at you, hands in his pockets. “Yes, madame? You called?”
“How did you---oh, never mind,” you shook your head. “Do you want to come up?”
He squeezed one eye closed, tilting his head. “Are you inviting me in?”
“No,” you clarified quickly. “I’m inviting you up, to this porch, so that I don’t have to shout at you for the whole trailer court to hear.”
He made his way up the steps like a normal human would, sauntering over to perch his elbow on the railing. You weren’t afraid of him, not like most humans were, and it made him feel like he could relax around you in a way he hadn’t felt in a decade. Like the two of you were just a couple of humans neighbors, having a chat about the weather.
“Chief Hopper came by to ask me some questions earlier,” you rested your back on the side of the trailer, across from him.
Eddie rolled his shoulders under his leather jacket. “Yeah, I figured he might. What did you tell him?”
“I told him…” you were whispering and glancing from side to side to make sure no one was around. “...the truth. That I was their server, but then I never saw them again that night.”
“Good girl,” Eddie praised, pulling the pack of cigarettes out from inside his leather jacket. He tapped it on the palm of his hand. “I told you not to worry about it.”
You licked your teeth. “Well, I’m not worrying because I have no idea what they did after they left the bar.”
“Damn,” he smiled around his cigarette. “You catch on quick, and I didn’t even have to Glamour you.”
Your forehead pinched. “Glamour me?” You asked, not understanding the phrase.
“Yeah,” he flicked his fancy silver lighter and ignited the tip. “Haven’t you heard of it? It’s a vampire thing. We can wipe out a part of a human memory to make them forget things.”
You considered that, wondering if you’d been Glamoured already and just didn’t know it.
He lowered his chin and looked up at you from under hooded eyes. “Do you want me to Glamour some parts of that night away from you?”
“How do you do it?” You didn’t want him to do it to you, but you were curious.
“Like this,” in a millisecond, he had bridged the distance and was inches from you; full, soft lips parted, golden-flecked brown eyes landing with purpose onto yours. You took in the lines of his face, his long lashes, the slope of his nose, the smell of nicotine and cinnamon on his breath. Without blinking, he seemed to be trying to stare into your soul, but then he clenched his forehead after a few seconds, confused.
He took a step back. “That’s weird,” he mumbled.
“What’s weird?” You blinked a few times. “Did you do it?”
He dropped back against the railing, frowning at you. “I couldn’t Glamour you for some reason. It usually always works with humans.”
You turned your head away at his words, wishing you could just be normal for once, and to your surprise, he let the topic go and didn’t ask any questions.
“I gotta jet,” he said, clearing his throat and flicking his smoke. “Duty calls.”
He was trotting down the steps, wallet chain jangling at his hip, when you called out to him. “Duty? What duty? What is it you do, anyway?”
He lifted his arm in a backwards wave, and that was when you noticed a different car parked at his trailer. It was dark red, and you couldn’t see exactly which make it was...an Audi, maybe? He got in behind the wheel, and after a few minutes of him bent over the column of the wheel, the engine sparked to life, and he sped off, kicking up a dust cloud behind him. You also notice that there were no identifying plates on the vehicle.
------
With his cig held between his lips, Eddie hot-wired the car that was very much stolen and on it’s way to the chop shop, and then he sat up and adjusted the rear view mirror so that he could get a look back at you standing on the porch.
He couldn’t figure you out.
He was starting to resent the fact that you were neighbors now because it seemed he’d never be free of the curiosity hold you had on him. He didn’t know a single human who would’ve risked their life trying to rescue him like you had. Partially because everyone assumed vampires could always take care of themselves, and also, Eddie had pushed everyone away who ever tried to stay close to him. Especially since he was turned.
The people he cared about were better off without him in their life.
--------
A few days went by of you adjusting to your new place, your new job, and figuring out where everything was in town, but you didn’t see hide nor hair of Eddie. You figured he was waking up when you were going to sleep, and back in his trailer before you got out of bed, but one night you noticed he never came home at all. You visited with Robin again at Nightshade Bookstore and on your way to grab something from your vehicle before you went into work, there was a guy cupping his hands to look into the windows, inspecting it.
“Can I help you?” You asked from the sidewalk.
He was tall with broad, with muscular shoulders and arms; white tee under his black and red flannel just a tad too tight so that you could see the outline of his pecs. Worn jeans, work boots, and a thick head of caramel brown hair, and it was slicked back, just long enough to tuck behind his ears.
“Sorry,” his generous mouth spread in a smile as he came around the front toward you. “Is this yours?” He gestured at the hearse.
You nodded without saying anything, waiting for him to explain what he was doing.
“’79 Cadillac, yeah?” He asked it like he was familiar with cars, but you had to correct him.
“76.”
He had a disarming way about him and you started to relax as he backed up to look at the front grille. “My grandpa loved Caddy’s,” he mused aloud. “And I’ve never seen a hearse up close before.”
“You’ve never been to a funeral?”
He turned his head and looked you up and down, dark lashes rimming cherrywood eyes. “Sweetheart, surely you know that not everyone gets buried the same way when they die,” he dislodged the piece of gum that was in his cheek and began to chew it again. “We deal with death a bit differently where I’m from.”
You took the bait. “Yeah, where are you from?”
That was when he turned with his hands on his hips, inclining his head up the street, in the direction of the mountains. “My family are all up in the hills. Private people, we stick to our own. Names Steve,” he winked at you. “Steve Harrington.”
You told him your name, and there was a polite exchange before you you moved to unlock your door and he headed down the side walk in the opposite direction. You both turned back to peak over your shoulders at each other at the same time, just before Steve disappeared into the bookstore.
--------
That night at Main Vein, a family of four tourists came in with hopes of seeing a vampire, but Argyle was the only one in the building, so Bob begged him to show his fangs and take a picture with them. You took the photo while Erica shook her head in the background.
Erica mentioned being frustrated that she couldn’t meet up with her friends at the movie theater, and since it wasn’t busy, you offered to finish up and take her tables.
“You’d do that for me?” She asked with a squint, waiting for you to have some reciprocity in mind.
“Of course,” you shrugged your shoulders. “I don’t have a life, remember?”
“Well, I’ll try not to make fun of you for it next time,” she reached around to untie her apron and gave you the glimmer of a smile.
Things got so quiet after midnight that Bob gave you and Argyle the okay to close up early.
“Where are you off to tonight?” You asked as you wiped down tables. “Hot date?”
Argyle always looked stylish, but he was particularly flawless that night.
“Nah,” he pulled a joint out of his front pocket and stuffed it behind his ear. “My buddy Jonathan is in town. We’re gonna get blitzed and watch Mystery Science Theater.”
“Is Jonathan a---”
“Vampire?” Argyle finished. “No way. He’d make a good one though. He loves the hours we keep.”
“Let me know if this is too personal,” you went over to the bar where his was. “But how did you become a vampire in the first place?”
As far as you knew, there were only two ways people turned: either they were forced via some brutal attack, or they chose it willingly; there really wasn’t any in between. You didn’t just accidentally wake up a vampire one day.
He folded his cash tips from the night and shoved them in the back pocket of his jeans. “The how and the why are the same, I guess,” he admitted. “And neither one of them matter anymore,” he added on a sigh. “But, why does a fool do anything? I did it for love.”
---------
Argyle walked you to your car, but you waved him off a bit too soon, because by the time he was already in his orange VW Beetle and buzzing down the street, you realized with a burst of panic that you’d locked your keys inside the hearse when you went out on your break earlier.
“Shit,” you cursed, dropping your head, hands balling into frustrated fists, trying to decide what your options were as you stood alone on the shadowy side of the already dark street. Just a half a block down the sidewalk is where you were attacked by the Klemp family, and it made your hand move reflexively to your throat at the visceral memory.
Argyle had the keys to Main Vein, so you couldn’t use the phone in there. Even if you could, who would you call? The fact that you couldn’t think of a single person you could count on at the drop of a hat made the bell of loneliness ring louder than ever before in your ears.
You stepped back to get an idea of the street, and see if maybe there was something you could break a window with. You’d didn’t have the money to get your window fixed, but you’d seen people who drove around with a piece of cardboard sealed with duct tape to make up for broken glass, and maybe that’s the type of person you’d need to be for a while.
You had no idea where the nearest payphone was, and you weren’t about to start knocking on doors to ask a vampire if you could use their landline. Reluctantly, you started looking for a rock or brick heavy enough to bust the back window out. You were just about to bend over and grab a piece of metal pipe near the parking lot when the sound of approaching music made you freeze.
The sound had a dark, heavy beat, and it was getting closer. Pretty soon, you watched a black Pontiac GTO muscle car swing around the block at high speed and than jerk to a stop in front of you; big engine purring, windows open, music blaring.
It was Eddie.
“Need a ride?” He called out to you.
You looked down at the pipe you were about to grab. “How did you know I locked my keys in my hearse?”
“I didn’t,” he said, turning the music down, leaning over to make eye contact with you through the passenger window. “I just felt the bat signal. I could tell you needed help.”
Well, okay, I guess this ingesting Eddie’s blood thing had some benefits.
“Get in,” he told you, stretching over to unlock the door. “I’ll take you home. I know a guy who can get your keys out tomorrow.”
Eddie had the tools and the skill to get your door unlocked for you in that moment, and it would only take him a couple seconds, but you didn’t know that about him yet, and he’d decided that he wanted some company that evening.
From the looks of it, he was a lunatic behind the wheel, and you had no idea where he was getting these cars from, and for what---but you really didn’t have any other decent options.
You slid into the soft leather seat next to him, and you felt like you were in an episode of Night Rider. The inside smelled like strawberry air freshener, nicotine, and the pleasant spicy whiff of Eddie’s cologne. His hand was cupped over the gear shift, metal rings gleaming, and some type of skull design on the back of his hand.
“I was just on my way to do this one work thing, but then I’ll take you right home after,” he had waited to tell you this until the car was in motion, tearing onto the main street. “It’s on the way.”
You clutched your bag to your lap. “A work thing?”
“You’ll see,” he assured you. “Have you ever heard of Sacrament? It’s a real vampire bar.”
“No,” you swallowed, watching the scenery whiz by, thinking that a broken car window really wouldn’t have been so bad. “But why do I have a feeling that’s about to change?”
“Yes, Princess,” he took his eyes off the road for what you considered to be way too long to look over at you. “That’s all about to change. Some of the vampires at this place are old fuckers. Been around forever.”
He turned the music back up a bit, brought his hand down to shift, and then turned the music back down again.
“Hey, but no one will fuck with you, okay? I promise,” he kept his eyes on the road this time. “You’re with me tonight.”

Tumblr media
*Chapter start from below trailer*
>> Trailer <<
"My darling wife, the joy you have brought me throughout the years is without compare. Our children are fortunate to have been gifted with such a loving and caring mother as you,"
Malleus spoke with affection, his voice like honeyed words that melted the hearts of everyone that heard it. He leaned down to kiss your forehead, his warm breath brushing against your skin.
But just as you were getting used to this blissful scene, your old friend, Ace arrived in an unexpected turn of events. He claimed that he was your husband, which left you perplexed and bewildered.
"Wait a minute, that's not right! I'm your real husband! He's just trying to manipulate you with a dream. Wake up, now! Our children need you! I need you, Y/N!"
You were unsure how to proceed, caught in the middle of a confusing situation. In this situation, you feel conflicted and uncertain about whether your old friend or your darling husband had spoken the truth
>> PART 2 <<
You woke up with a jolt as you panted for breath, a sudden rush of panic and fear washing over you. Your mind immediately reeled with everything that happened yesterday, the memories of Malleus's intense and possessive behavior in the throes of his jealousy flooding back, filling you with a growing sense of dread and fear.
"Good morning my dear wife." Malleus smiled warmly at you, his face filled with a mix of kindness and concern as he greeted you from the side of your bed. He advanced toward you to give you a kiss but you quickly place your palm on his lips and reject him, asking him about your children instead.
"Why did you do that yesterday? "Are our children alright?" The tone of your question seemed to confuse him, as his face grows into a look of shock and confusion before the same smile from before creeping to his face.
"They are as good as puppets. They are here with us." As the words left his mouth, his lips gently lingered on your palm, before his lips make their way up towards your shoulder. The feeling of his warm breath against your skin sent a jolt down your spine, and your body froze in a moment of shock and tension.
A sense of panic and fear washed through you as you realised that something was wrong, that your children were not actually here in this room with you. As he pulls back, his smile grows wider, his eyes staring intensely into yours, his breath catching inside his lung for a moment.
"You must want to see them. After all, my dear wife is a loving mother. Look at them, dear" As his fingers grasped your chin firmly, you felt a wave of sudden terror washing over you as your head was turned forcefully toward the corner of the room.
There, staring back at you with lifeless eyes, were two wooden puppets, their faces frozen in an expressive pose of happy families. The horror and shock of the sight immediately filled your mind, as your body stiffened in a mix of fear and helplessness.
Malleus still had a strong hold of you for several minutes with utter dominance, not letting you look away from the puppets. Secretly, he enjoyed the look of terror in your eyes as he just smiled warmly at you, his eyes seemingly full of kindness and care as he looks at you. Just like a loving husband that you loved so much.
"Malleus, stop with your joke now." As his hands fell away from your face, your voice broke into a nervous tremble. Your eyes were quickly shifting between the wooden puppets in horror and disbelief, before you turned your eyes back upon him, frantically pleading for a confirmation.
"That cannot be our children, right? That is not Levan and Marcellus." You asked him with a desperate tone, unable to believe what you were seeing. The shock and fear on your face seemed to startle Malleus, as the expression on his face softened into one of genuine concern.
"My dear wife, I would never joke about such a thing. They looked so alive to me. They were always fighting each other. And now they are so peaceful, like dolls. It's nothing but normal for puppets to look like that. Isn't it?" Malleus's tone was calm and reassuring, as he tried to reassure you that there was nothing wrong with the puppets, with both of your kids.
"Dear wife, are you in disbelief? I'm the one who created them dear. They are my masterpiece." As he said this, a green shadow shot across the room towards the puppets, turning them into the appearance of your sons.
"They look like us dear. A mix of fae and lovable human like you" There was a growing smirk on his face as the puppets transformed in front of your eyes. As though on cue, Levan and Marcellus spoke to you in your son's voices, their wooden faces suddenly transformed back into looking like them. The green shadow slowly fades from the room as the puppets' wooden skin becomes soft again and the illusion is restored.
"Morning, Mama! Papa!" Marcellus says in his usual cheery tone, with Levan nodding his head in agreement beside him. Levan and Marcellus continue to giggle as though nothing unusual had just happened.
"Mama! Don't be scared!" It was now Marcellus turn to address you, his little hands reaching out to take yours. His hands felt as stiff as wooden, and you can't help but experience a feeling of horror and revulsion at the touch. Despite this, you let him take your hand, hoping that Malleus has not seen your reaction as you fear him for good.
Malleus watched you and your sons interacting, his lips curling into an amused and joyful smile for his little family. He seemed truly proud of his creation, as he watched them move and talked with you. However, he cannot help but noticed your reaction to Marcellus's wooden hand, and his expression darkens.
"They are lovely, aren't they?" Malleus said with a cruel smirk, enjoying the shock and fear on your face as he placed his hands on your shoulder.
"I make sure they take after us, especially your eyes that I love the most." His gaze wander towards your eyes, his words and tone made it clear that this is more of a threat than a compliment.
"But dear, you too focus on them, so they need to disappear." As he spoke this, the puppets began to turn back into their wooden forms. Seeing them changed back into their wooden forms, your heart skipped a beat, and you felt a mixture of horror and fear rush through you, as your mind tries to wrap around the revelation that the children you thought were real were just puppets.
Levan and Marcellus remained still and silent in their wooden forms, their wooden hands dangling limply by their sides. They seemed so lifeless and stiff, as though they were not a living creature. Your fear and confusion grew as Malleus's expression darkens, and his eyes stared at you firmly as though assessing your reaction. Malleus's cruel smirk grew wider as your confusion and fear grow.
"Why did you do this?" Your voice shaking in a mix of surprise and disbelief.
"Aren't we in a good marital relationship?" He looked back at you, his eyes dark and emotionless as he remained silent for a long moment. Malleus's expression slowly narrowed, and you cannot help but feel a growing sense of unease as his eyes fixated upon you. It was as though he was debating whether to answer your question, or whether to ignore it altogether. Eventually, his expression hardens, and he finally speaks.
"Because, my dear wife. I love you but" Your heart sank as he spoke his next words, the coldness in his voice sending a jolt of fear through your body.
"You don't love me. Even after all this years" The words hit you like a slap in the face, and you immediately turned away from him, not wishing to face his cruel expression anymore.
"That's why I think this is a great time for us to finally be one. All this time, I tried to respect you, dear wife" His voice darkened even further as he said this, the tone of his words leaving no doubt about his intentions.
"My wife is smart" He was now talking in a completely different tone, one that sounds almost like a threat. "You know what I meant do you?"
"As for that red haired man." The tone of his voice grew more menacing as he mentioned the red haired man.
"Never ever think about that red haired man again." His tone now resembled that of a command, as though he expected you to obey his every word.
"You were being a bad wife yesterday, dear wife. Saying that name in my presence. Now, how should I manage this, my dear wife? Should I lock you up again or clear your memories. hahhahahahaha! HAHAHAHA! I would always feel excited in starting a new dream with you again, My. Dear. Wife"
