Favorite thing about them: His general lovability. I like his joy and sweetness, the way his lines blend childlike innocence with dry, deadpan humor (my Norwegian-American mom has praised how authentically Norwegian his understated line delivery feels), the comedy of the various ways his body can come apart and rearrange, and his touching love for his human "family," especially Anna.
Least favorite thing about them: Nothing about his actual character, but I think he's been slightly overused by Disney in spin-off material. But then, Disney often does this with popular sidekick characters. I'm sure that '90s adults felt the same way about Timon and Pumbaa.

*I tend to be cheerful and fun-loving most of the time.

Favorite thing about them: Like Olaf (though in a different way), he's a likable character in general. Strong, smart, and down-to-earth, yet quirky and funny, with a nice character arc of becoming less misanthropic and learning to love Anna, and then of course there's his steadfast, selfless devotion to her by the end of the first film and throughout the sequel.
Least favorite thing about them: His belief that all men eat their boogers. But more seriously, I do think his romance with Anna in the first film is a little underdeveloped. I'm glad the sequel reveals that they don't actually become engaged until three years later.

Random headcanon: He's partly of Northuldra descent. This reconciles the original claims when the first film came out that he was Sámi with the sequel's introduction of Sámi-like people whom he doesn't belong to.
Unpopular opinion: I'm not sure if this is unpopular or just disagreeing with a few loud critics, but Anna's reliance on him in the first film isn't "anti-feminist." The idea that a strong heroine should be able to do everything by herself is nonsense, especially when she's a sheltered princess venturing out into a frozen wilderness and climbing a mountain for the first time.

Gender & Sexuality Headcanon: Cishet (honorific!!!!) This man is a mensch, he is the ideal cishet man, he is the guy who will walk you home at night in shitty neighborhoods with no expectations of “favors”, he will knock bigot skinheads flat on their asses, he will take you to pride and know the history, he’s GOOD and HUMBLE and KIND!!!
A ship I have with said character: tbh I always envisioned him as happily married outside of the ghostbusters, very much a keep work and personal life separate, but she’s like the anti-frozone’s wife—instead of where’s my super suit, she’s chucking his flight suit and ICBs at him so fast he can barely keep up. so Winston x OC!wife.
EDIT: AHHH FORGOT BROTP HOW COULD I: WINSTON + RAY. ECTO’S FAVORITE BOYS. They can spend hours together talking about the nature of faith and religion all the while tinkering with Ecto and coming up with new ways to jerry-rig her insides and add cool (and totally practical, 100% practical ahem) additions to her. There’s an implicit understanding between the two of them that they’ll always have each others’ backs whenever they’re needed, ride or die and it has come to that a few times in this line of work. Implicit trust, utter brothers in arms.
A NOTP I have with said character: tbh I’m pretty lax, there’s no one jumping out at me that I’d go oh HELL no to. Actually, Winston x Peter because he just doesn’t deserve that nonsense.
A random headcanon: when shit hits the fan in a non-ghost/mortal way (someone gets really injured on a job, there’s civilian crossfire, some lay person’s acting up on them, etc. etc.) Winston’s Air Force background kicks in hard core. He’s the boss now, he’s got Ray on the sat phone calling in the ambulance, he’s redirecting panicked civilians, he’s stabilizing broken limbs and putting C-collars on people, he’s jumpstarting stalled out cars in evac—Winston Zeddemore doesn’t mess around. The other guys can bust ghosts, Z can bust (and fix) the living and do it while looking good and being cool as a cucumber.
General opinion on the character: braver than any US Marine. And he’s goddamn right, he IS the sex appeal but don’t sell yourself short man you kept it cool, too. I can’t wait to see how he’s utilized more in the GB:A sequel and I love how in the end he was the most successful out of all of them and kept the candle of hope burning all those years alongside Egon in his own way. Peter peaced out, and Winston stepped the fuck up.

To us he seems bisexual in the way where he doesn't actually think about it nor label it and she just happens to always get with dudes or at least publicly express an interests in guys but then one day she just shows up someplace with a new girlfriend and everyone is like "bro what we didn't know you were into chicks" and he's like "oh yeah. haha well it just happened ^-^" Does that make sense.
Gender Headcanon: Bigender Ahospice superiority. He/She Ahospice superiority. Will not accept any other perception of Ahospice if you don't see Ahospice as a male/female bigender person then you're wrong /lh
A ship I have with said character: We only really ship Ahospice with ourselves directly. This is completely serious tbh and we don't really like any Ahospice ships because 1.) none of the other characters really seem like they'd mesh with her well relationship-wise and 2.) it feels kind of awkward saying we ship her with anyone else, especially with a character we're not also attracted to.
A BROTP I have with said character: Okay we know it only asks for ONE buuuut Dar and Censure. Okay if we consider a reality in which Dar is not EATING Ahospice then Dar would 100% seem like a deranged friend that Ahos needs to like Live. Like Dar would get her to do stuff she wouldn't normally do and he's all scared and shit like Dar This Is A Bad Idea and then he goes for it and he has a blast. Also we imagine the two of them would really like metal together WE DON'T KNOW WHY but Ahos seems like the type to like metal in a very unexpected way. Like "oh let me put on some music ^-^" and then she puts on the most hardcore nonsense. Like "haha yeah this lets me de-stress <3" and Dar is like OH and then they bond over a shared interest lol. Also they definitely harass service workers together. Ahos complains over some stupid shit and Dar joins in + makes it progressively worse because he finds it funny. Censure just seems like he'd be a fellow bitchy middle-aged-mom-esque friend not gonna delve in more you can probably guess.
A NOTP I have with said character: All of them but UMM with Dar definitely. We can't imagine that ever being a good thing.
A random headcanon: Can't live without coffee that bitch RUNS on it also at all times she has at least three active diseases in her body.

I'd read it if it was there, probably.

Peach is the zebra from the drama club, right? I'd put this in the Haru x Pina category, crack ship sailing. 4/10, since they're even less likely to meet.

Molesley
do I like them: yes5 good qualities: hard-working (despite what Carson may think), helpful, intelligent, loves learning, honest to a fault3 bad qualities: gloomy, self-defeating, judgmentalfavourite episode/etc: either Molesley getting drunk on punch and dancing like a fool when they go to the Highlands, or the one where he formulates the plan to find an alibi for Bates–I think he sometimes does nice things to impress people, but that one was really all out of kindness, and he meant to do it alone and keep it a secret until Phyllis asked to join in.otp: Molesley/Baxter of coursebrotp: he hasn’t really got a lot of friends, has he? She seems so self-contained and firmly rooted in the present that it’s hard to imagine anything about her beyond what’s already there.

Sexuality Headcanon: i'm sorry have you SEEN anatole kuragin. that is a BISEXUAL if i've ever seen one. also the only allo kuragin sibling congrats anatole ur lame /j.
Gender Headcanon: idk i kind of switch around genders with anatole a lot lol. my rational side says that it's pretty important that the kuragins are cis but the medallion says that's dumb so we're not gonna do that. like idk that is a coat for a nonbinary person..
A ship I have with said character: now that is just cruel. still not saying it idc.
A BROTP I have with said character: now hear me out for a bit ok,, marya b, but not in, like, quite an actual friendly relationship way? more as in, like.. anatole does much dumb and marya sticks around because if she doesn't stop him then who will bother to, dolokhov??? HELENE????? this also came out of the idea of what their marriage would be like if they had actually gotten married that one time. it's just fun to think about.
A NOTP I have with said character: idk natasha i guess. oh and helene obviously. anatole what the fuck. AND marya b, in a romantic sense, because i still get a kick out of their potential loveless marriage lol. basically just anatole stay away from women you don't deserve any of them. nor most of the men.
A random headcanon: hmm i didn't think i'd ever have to,, think about anatole, ok let's see, i def have some headcanons of him,,,,,,,,,,,,,, OH yh yh i know, in modern au anatole DEFINITELY owns a chihuahua. there is NOTHING you can possibly say to convince me otherwise.
General Opinion over said character: fuckin gross genuinely hope he gets a piano dropped on him. fr tho i actually have a lot of thoughts on anatole's character but it's far too late rn and i can't think coherently so i'll make a post about that some other time. basically i think he's ugly and horrible and he smells. BUT,, i do enjoy him. he's still a fun character and he has lots of potential tbh. you could def work with him.
