Summary:

An angsty one-shot of the interrogation room scene between Chloe and Lucifer in 3x20. I just couldn't get that tension out of my head, and this happened in preparation for season 4 in just a few days! AH! I hope you enjoy this angsty smut.

What I like:

It's HOT idk that's it y'all.

Summary:

What I like:

What I like:

The Christmas scene!!!! Oh my god I absolutely loved the concept of Cecil just going along with The Thing (which I won't spoil for you) and I just LOVE his line after it's all done ("merry Christmas indeed"). It cracks me up every time.

Home for the Holidays by messyfeathers [Complete] Welcome to Night Vale Fandom

Summary:

The invitation to spend Christmas at Carlos's brother's house seemed as good an excuse as any to introduce Cecil to the family. If only years of Night Vale holidays hadn't left Cecil absolutely terrified of jingle bells and Perry Como songs. It's a transition to be sure.

What I like:

I love "meet the family" tropes! I also love Cecil outside Night Vale and this one is really well done.

What I like:

I'm always a slut for Eleven/Rose what can I say? This is extremely well done and I thought how the author handled the whole Eleven/Rose TenTwo/Rose tension arc gracefully. Also Amy and Rory meeting Rose 👀

What I like:

I absolutely LOVE established hidden relationships! This fic is amazing in that regard and I felt like the relationships and characters were fleshed out really well.

Summary:

Lt John Watson, 25, will do just about anything to stay in the Army, even if it means marrying a man he's never met. It's only for two years, and he'll probably be in Afghanistan the whole time. How much can his life really change?

Sherlock Holmes, 21, is just entering rehab, at his mother's dying request. He can't receive the money she left him, the money he needs to live, unless he gets married. What I like:

What do you mean I have a type?? Nahhhh. But haha yeah this is another secret relationship fic. I thought the johnlock in here felt super natural and even though they're apart for most of the fic, I got a lot out of this.

Doctor you started with: Twelve was just starting out when I began watching, but I went back to Series 1 for Nine. Still, I consider Twelve my first Doctor since I was always catching up for Capaldi.

Favourite Doctor: Twelve. I love all the Doctors, but Twelve holds a special place in my heart. There’s a great balance of dark and light and emotion in him. Plus, every speech he’s ever given has been epic. (The Zygon Inversion anyone?)

Favourite Companion: Ooooo I have not seen S10 yet, but at the moment I would say that it’s a toss up between Clara, Martha, or the Ponds. I’m indecisive.

Favourite Episode: Hmmm, The Magician’s Apprentice was pretty amazing. It was the first one I got to see somewhat live. But The Eleventh Hour is another favorite of mine, along with the Shakespeare episode.

DW OTP: Whouffaldi!!! I love the Ponds too and Yowzah too, but Whouffaldi pulled me head over heels and then dumped me on the ground sobbing.

Favourite Character that isn’t the Doctor or a companion: That’s tough. I’ve always had a love for Madame Vastra. Brain Williams is a good one too. 

BrOTP: That’s tricky because I love so many combinations. Ten and Donna was pretty iconic, so I’ll say that one.

Favourite DW fic (if you have one): Well, I love so many. But the first one I ever read was Double Shot and Extra Hot, so it holds a special place in my heart.

Favourite DW fanart/blog (if you have one): @randomthunk‘s artwork is always fabulous. And @taleasoldastime-andspace refuses to be over Whouffaldi, so that one too.

If you could pick anyone to be the next Doctor, who would it be? (Why, if you feel like explaining): That’s tough. Probably Hayley Atwell because I’ve seen that tossed around a lot.

If you could pick anyone to be the next companion who would it be? (Why?): I don’t know, but I think I would lean towards a guy companion. Shake things up a bit for a season. 

Favourite fan theory: Hybrid Wastebasket Theory. Good times.

Other fandoms: Legends of Tomorrow/Arrowverse fandom is where I hang out these days. I’m writing a long chapter fic that is an LOT DW AU. Riverdale too.

Don’t even worry about it anon, it was just me being sleepy and stupid. And yay, another one! Thank you!!

general opinion: fall in a hole and die | don’t like them | eh | they’re fine I guess | like them! | love them | actual love of my life hotness level: get away from me | meh | neutral | theoretically hot but not my type | pretty hot | gorgeous! | 10/10 would banghogwarts house: gryffindor | slytherin | ravenclaw | hufflepuffbest quality: I’ve always loved how he stands up to the Doctor. Like he does not take everything easily like Amy or any other companion does but he really calls the Doctor out whenever he does some stuff Rory doesn’t agree with-like in Vampires of Venice and Girl Who Waited. And in turn, I think the Doctor respects him a lot for that. Also, he just cares so much for other people, like so much he’s literally willing to put himself in danger for strangers...wow.worst quality: Rory Williams is perfect!!!! But I guess it is a bit sad that he’s insecure over Amy, but to be fair she ran off and kissed another man the night before their wedding so. I will also say that I found his love for Amy kind of incomprehensible at first? Like I won’t lie, I was lowkey mad at Amy for sort of stringing him along at first, until I realized she loved him just as much and had a different way of going about it. But basically I think he could do with being a little less codependent on Amy, though I think they got better about it and it was probably also the narration at times.ship them with: Amy/Rory!!...I’m crying just thinking about itbrotp them with: River&Rory and Eleven&Rory...I just wanted scenes where they bonded without Amy, you know? I live for the father-daughter relationship and it would have been nice if Eleven treated Rory more as an actual companion rather than a tag-along to Amy.needs to stay away from: Weeping Angelsmisc. thoughts: I think one of my favourite episodes of him is the God Complex, and I don’t know if it was the writing or the director but that episode always feels somewhat off for me. Like Rory has some lines in there that just don’t make sense to me plotwise so I always found it an interesting episode. Also the fact that he was the only one that could see an exit.

Sidenote: I hope this post doesn’t come off as anti Amy or Eleven, I love them both very much!

General Opinion: I can’t really bring myself to consider it a romantic ship because Auron is so obviously devoted to Braska, and Jecht is preoccupied by his wife and son (finally). I don’t think they’re each others’ “type”. Jecht seems to have married a mild-tempered woman who will boost his ego whilst providing predictable stability - probably not what he wants the world to know the Great Jecht likes, but he does - and Auron doesn’t seem a fan of anyone with an inflated sense of self importance. Jecht is so far from the lifestyle Auron is used to, he’s probably really grating. But as a friendship, it’s way better. They have a lot to teach each other. Jecht offers the conflicts Auron so desperately needs to play out, with none of the seriousness. He makes Auron think about things he might have buried otherwise (”what’s a summoner? where’s the parades? we’ll come back, right?”), and I think that’s important because he might have been more likely to just let himself be swept along for the ride otherwise. Auron makes Jecht turn down some and consider practising a little humility. He embarrasses him and shows him he’s not THE BEST - just a big fish in a small pond. I’m not surprised they clashed really badly at first - they needed it. By the time you get to Zanarkand, though, Auron seems almost as concerned for Jecht as for Braska, and considering how proud he can be, that’s a big deal. And Jecht seems to have absorbed some of Auron’s logic and coolness. They have a mutual positive influence on each other, and I sorta don’t like when people force that to translate into teh yaois. I’m sure it can be done with proper development, don’t get me wrong - same as people made me think about how Rippal could work - but it seems like a waste of a really good example of friendship that doesn’t lead to boning, and those are so endangered ;-;

Doctor you started with: 9. Wasn’t in real time. I started actually watching Torchwood by flipping through channels and fell in love with Captain Jack and then started watching Doctor Who. Empty Child was my first episode.

Favourite Doctor: 11. I love them all but 11 is kinda my spirit animal/the character I relate to most.

Favourite Companion: I don’t really count Jack or River as a companion so Donna Noble.

Favourite Episode: I have quite a few. Eleventh Hour is magical. Day of the Doctor. Journey’s End. The Sound of Drums. Forest of the Dead breaks my freaking heart. Etc.

DW OTP: Doctor/River. They are my main otp of any fandom. I’ll never be able to get over them. Amy/Rory. Missy/Clara.
