Meyers Manx SR, 1970. The “Street Roadster” was Bruce Meyers attempt to make a more civilised, street oriented, kit car. Like the original Meyers Manx it was based on a VW Beetle platform, shortened by 14.5 inches. Features included full weather protection with scissor doors and a removable targa roof. Meyers sold around 200 SR models with more being made by successive companies who bought the moulds after BF Meyers shut down.

being a trekkie who doesn't bend over backwards to praise wrath of khan makes you feel like you’re looking at one of those color blindness tests and you’re failing, amirite? like idk what y’all are excited about it but i cannot fucking see it
God yeah I've just completely given up on that battle.
There are isolated moments in WoK that I enjoy. The opening is very campy and I love the idea of Spock and Kirk both being instructors at the academy. I really like Saavik as a character and enjoy the snippets of the "me and my two gay space dads" dynamic we get there. The Spock death scene is iconic, if utterly unearned---hilarious that people make that criticism of Into Darkness because it's not any less out of left field in WoK.
But the overall direction it took the series and the characters? Saddling us with failson David??? I'm just never going to be a fan. And I don't really get what people are so amped about with WoK. They cut the budget massively after TMP and it shows---it looks and sounds cheap. There's wonky ADR all over the movie that takes me completely out of it.

i think they should let gerard way write batman comics. for no other reason than it would be funny.
like if you have r patts playing batman you gotta have gerard writing the source material. it’s tradition.
