clark “bumbling reporter” kent, who is always so hyper aware of his body that his “clumsy” antics never put anyone in harms way vs. bruce wayne who hasnt slept in 4 days, falling asleep standing up, sending himself crashing into a tower of champagne glasses at a gala, making glass and alcohol fly every where ruining at least three peoples very expensive outfits (not to mention getting alcohol in his fresh stitches that are hidden under his clothes), fight

Bruce as a 24 year old feeling the societal pressure to Move Out after Selina was surprised he was still living at the manor, " Um. I've been looking at apartments. "
Alfred, slowly turning to him like a goddam slasher as he's chopping blueberries for muffin cupcakes, " No you haven't."

DKoS Bruce being a loyal knight to the family that's sitting on what could so easily be his throne makes me so crazy.
He knew he was a bastard since birth. He was a child to a king and queen but had exactly zero claim to the throne with a best friend who would, upon Bruce's parents' deaths, get to be that prince he never was.
His extreme loyalty and protectiveness of the El's since he was a child, like he's making up for the shame of his birth and serving his kingdom by protecting the best people he knows' spot as its leaders.
A Wayne loyalist tried to put him on the throne when he was 11 and his response was to learn exactly how the El's could be killed, take down the man who wanted them dead, get rid of the only thing that could harm them by any means possible, and swear his undying loyalty to them.
Revealing they are brothers to his oldest friend and getting attempted murdered for it???? Like these people you loved and served for so long only wanted you around as long as you were less than them? As long as you were a loyal servant and not an equal (& a threat)??
It all makes me so insane and I wish the series had been a bit more medieval political drama to focus on it...

Bernard: ok I have a theory!
Tim: what
Bernard: so their's a place call Nanda Parbat-
Tim: NO this is the line. I am the only one in this relationship that messes with the league of assassins. The pain cult was one thing but Do. Not. Mess. With. Ra's. Al. Ghul.
Bernard: *who thought he was special because he was in the pain cult*

When you want to go out with your knight bestie on a patrol but he said fuck off you’ll be safer here eventhough you’re a literal invincible alien man (..except when magic is involved...)
(My fave expressions of prince kal and knight bruce frm issue 1 of dark knights of steel)

thinking of no capes au bruce with his still vigilante kids except he didn't drop out of med school and got a phd and helps to run Leslie Thompkins's clinic, and one night one of the batkids get injured so they take him/her to the clinic and see bruce there and their just like "BRUCE????" but with the spiderman pointing meme
I see this and I raise you: AU where Bruce is still Batman, the batkids are still robins, yet they have no idea their Dark Knight Mentor is their dad, infamous sugar baby, Bruce Wayne

the urge to get super insufferably back into daredevil vs the fact that if I do that with the way things are going I will get unavoidably and inevitably disappointed and heartbroken at daredevil born again
