Bruce could see people's souls. He didn't know if anyone else could but he thought it was interesting. He has learned over the years what each color meant, or at least of what he thought they meant. Most of the team had yellow within their souls. It made sense since they were all very analytical and logical. He loved being around them and seeing how the colors would change as they changed. Steve's used to not be very visible but since Barnes had returned he could see the pink and yellow swirling around him. Loving and giving along with his logistics. Barnes' wasn't available to him but he liked to pretend like he knew what it was. Probably a deep red to show his strong will. He worried about seeing a muddy red to show anger. He didn't seem so angry anymore but Bruce didn't let his anger show either. He had lived his entire life like this. He could see the colors of people he was close to the most. His mother, always trying her best, a bright emerald green. Thinking she could save everyone. Some people weren't meant saving though. Like his father. His mother had other colors that swirled within her emerald, but all he ever saw in his father was that muddy red. It was the only color he knew for sure what it meant. Knew his father carried only anger within his heart. There had been others he had tried to get close to later but it never happened. He knew why. If anyone else could see the colors and knew what they meant they'd see that muddy red in his other colors. If he even had other colors then. Joining the Avengers had shown him though. He was still angry at what his father had done, what he had been. He learned to control his emotions better being around them. Tony was the master of his emotions but nobody could control their colors. He had a dark blue within his yellow. Fear. Bruce didn't know what the fear was of though. He rarely asked. It was hard to ask people about their colors without making it obvious as to why he was asking. He was afraid of telling anyone else after what his father had done to him when he told him. It wasn't until Thor had appeared that he even knew others could see it. They all saved New York together. Probably the world. And then after they all went out together. Sitting in one of the small spaces that hadn't crumbled yet. Bruce was sitting silently, staring down at the table in front of him. "You're very gray, Banner. Almost black. You must be careful about that. Fear can control your mind more than anything else!" Thor said before shoveling more food into his mouth. Everyone blinked at Thor before looking at Bruce. All of them asking the same word before Tony finally said it. "What?" "They gray! Do you not see it?" "No!" Tony said with a sigh. "What is it?" Thor shrugged a little before Bruce cleared his throat to be the one to answer. "Your souls. They all have colors showing your personalities and what not. I've never... I've never seen gray before though." "I don't see it often. Asgardians don't usually show fear. We see it in our enemies." The group nodded slowly before bombarding them with questions about what their colors were and what it meant. Bruce just smiled a little and told Natasha and Clint since they were closest to him. Thor eagerly told Steve and Tony. Natasha's wasn't very bright since she was secretive and didn't grow close to people. There of course was purple considering her mysterious and secretive life. She had a gray color thrown in as well, showing she was blocking other energies from sensing hers too much. She seemed to like that answer and leaned back in her chair. Clint leaned in close to Bruce with a grin as he began to list some of his colors. There was a dark pink representing his immaturity that everyone at the table agreed with and Clint just pouted. He had green in as well for his love of people and animals. Lavender was also apparent into the mix for his imagination and daydreaming. "I'd go on, but I'm very tired. I'm sorry." Bruce said softly. "That was so cool!" Clint exclaimed, asking Thor if he had other colors. Thor told him about the other colors he possessed. Most people had a few. There was always a base color and then others that swirled in as well. He noticed as time went on everyone seemed to have that gray color thrown in. They were all guarding themselves from each other. They were all angry at each other. Bruce tried to stay out of it and kept to himself. Thor would sometimes sit with him and they'd talk about the drastic color changes. He too was growing afraid of the others it seemed. Bruce wasn't afraid of any of them. None could be as bad as his father. He was only worried about the growing muddy red Tony and Steve seemed to be harboring after the when Ultron thing. Being in space as Hulk was weird. Hulk didn't see the colors but he wouldn't allow him to take charge anyways. Bruce would just watch and pretend like he had as a child. He didn't care for the Grandmaster or Loki so he didn't pretend to know theirs. He didn't usually watch though. He didn't enjoy watching what the Hulk did. What he couldn't control because Hulk wouldn't allow him to. He didn't see the colors very well after he changed back. Probably from lack of being in control. That was fine though. He didn't want to see them to start with. Even when they faced Thanos he didn't see them. He'd see flashes here and there. He couldn't focus on them for very long though. Never could see more than just a flash. He figured it was another thing he couldn't do and put it into the list along with turning into Hulk. It didn't bother him. Even though they knew about him being able to see the colors nobody had asked about theirs since the first time. Nobody wanted to hear it. Nobody wanted to know. He was happy being just Banner. Only Banner. And after the whole Thanos deal ending, everyone else seemed okay with Only Banner as well.

Bruce Week Day One: Control & Soul
- I thought of him with flowers in his hair as a way for him to remember that his soul is good no matter what people think of him and that he's still a human, and control because he's smiling and feeling peace within himself :))
