The necklace (Julieta x Félix)
Tumblr media
a/n:...I regret nothing
________________________________
“Daddy, where did mom get the necklace she always wears?”
Félix smiled when his eldest daughter approached him with those big teary eyes that always reminded him of his beloved wife. He laughed and carefully lifted the girl to sit her on his lap and kissed her cheek, which made her giggle.
“Well, you see princess, I got it for her on a Christmas day, many years ago” he said “She loved it so much and decided not to take it off since then. The end”
“Papá!! That can’t be it!” the girl frowned “you have to tell me the story correctly!”
Félix laughed again as little Farina pouted and crossed her tiny arms. At that moment, she was Julieta’s living image and he couldn’t be more proud. He has never been able to say no to any of her girls, so he rolled his eyes fondly and pinched her cheek before he spoke again.
“Alright, let’s start with the beginning” he said “I was friends with your mother since we were children”
“Like my sisters?”
“Like you and your sister” he said, reminding her she was still a kid “So, we were friends since then and we both lived back in Encanto, so I knew her family too”
“That was when Mrs. Alma still liked you?” Farina interrupted again
“Yes, she still liked me back then” he laughed.
It was hard to tell a story when your public was interrupting with questions after every phrase you said, but he loved his little princess, so he remained patient and never asked her to stop asking things. After all, he knew that Farina was only asking it because she was the only one who could already talk, but as soon as Dolores and Isabela grow, he was sure they’d start asking too and he couldn’t blame them. Encanto and all the Madrigal family were a mystery to them.
“So, you were children and it was Christmas” Farina said
“No, no” Felix shook his head “I said we knew each other since we were children. So I grew up knowing how your mother’s life was like in the Madrigal house”
“Was it bad?” she asked, worried for her mother
“It was…hard”
His daughter paid more attention to that, eager to know more about her mother’s life back in that mythical place she only knew from stories. Felix smiled and could finally start his story without interruptions. The memories came to him with every word that came out of his mouth.

“Felix! Give me that!”
The boy laughed as he escaped from his best friend’s arms and ran around the table. He knew some people were watching and judging him, but he didn’t care. All that mattered to him was that Julieta was smiling.
He always knew that despite how magical their gifts might sound, the Madrigal triplets always had the hardest life in town. They were responsible, from such a young age, for taking care of almost everything, at least the important aspects. Bruno was always pressured to have visions in order to assure the Encanto was safe and wouldn’t have an attack soon, Pepa was in charge of the weather, always having to feel the right emotion to make the crops grow (he really felt bad for her). But he also knew that his best friend was the one who had it worst.
Julieta could heal with her food, a gift meant to be used in case of emergencies where doctors couldn’t help, but the thing was that the townspeople started abusing her gift even more than her siblings’. Every time someone got hurt, they would go to the oldest triplet, no matter if it was just a little scratch, they would demand a meal from her. She was often working until late to make sure she had everything ready for the next day and would wake up earlier than anyone in Encanto, even earlier than the sun. She was also often called in the middle of the night, meaning she couldn’t even rest well in those few free hours.
And it was taking a toll on her and her notes at school. Actually, that was how Félix and she became good friends in the first place. He couldn't say he was the best student, but he was the only one who offered to help her with maths and history, which Julieta had really appreciated and led to numerous afternoons sitting together at his kitchen table, joking and laughing and getting closer.
One afternoon, he finally witnessed the extent of her tiredness, when she fell asleep on his shoulder only a few minutes after she sat down. Félix had been so worried but he didn’t want to wake her up, so he sat as still as he could for more than three hours. His friend had been so ashamed and quickly apologized, but all the boy could think of was how beautiful she looked while sleeping.
After that, they only grew closer and closer, always being there for each other, ready to walk through hell if it was necessary (and oh boy it was the case years later!). He lost count of how many times he comforted Julieta after some asshole broke her heart (he’d have broken their bones, but that would have meant she’d have to see them again to heal them), while his own heart broke because, once again, he hadn’t been the one she chose.
“Félix!!” Julieta growled, taking him out of his thoughts “give me that!”
He tried to escape again, but as he was so distracted, he didn’t see that he was at a dead-end, trapped between her and some trees. His friend smirked as she approached him and tried to grab the small package he stole from her table, but he quickly hid it behind his back.
“There’s no place to run now” she said “so give up”
“You know, this is quite a scene just for a simple gift” Félix smiled
“It was a gift from my best friend, it’s special to me” she smiled back
“Oh really? How special?”
“Enough to run after you through the entire town”
“Wow, he must be a good man for you to want his gift back that hard”
“He’s the best”
Félix felt his cheeks blushing and was grateful that his dark skin hide it because he was sure she would never let him live with it. But the thing was, that hearing Julieta saying such things so careless as if they came naturally for her, was slowly becoming harder.
“No, give it back” she said “I wanted to open it before getting home”
“Why?”
“Less prying eyes”
The young man laughed and finally gave her the small box. Julieta smiled and instead of walking back to her table in the middle of the town, she started opening there. The truth was that Félix was nervous and didn’t want to think about what would happen if she didn’t like it.
Christmas was around the corner and he knew his best friend would be even busier those days because apparently, people couldn’t do shit on their own and a lot of families hired Julieta to make their Christmas dinner. Or well, they paid Alma for the privilege of using her oldest daughter, because Julieta never got a single coin for her work.
So, being the amazing friend he was, Félix made sure he got her something before he’d lost her until the new year. At first, it was hard because nothing seemed to be good enough for her and he had been worried he couldn’t find the perfect gift. He didn’t want to go for the obvious because he knew she would only get pans and knives and other kitchen tools, and he didn’t think it was fair.
He was going to give up when he saw it.
“Oh my god” Julieta gasped, pulling him out of his memories “Félix…it’s beautiful”
He smiled as his friend carefully lifted the necklace out of the box. It was an exquisite golden chain with just a small pendant on it, but the pendant had a moon shape and a blue stone in the middle.
“This must have been so expensive” she added, a little worried
“You deserved it” he shrugged
“Oh Félix, you shouldn’t have…I can’t… I don’t have something like this for you” she admitted shyly “I was just going to cook your favorite meals and invite you to the river for a picnic”
“Aaaand you just ruined the surprised”
“Sorry” she giggled “I just don’t know how will I ever pay you for this”
“You don’t have to. It’s a gift” he said
“But-”
“Juli, I got it for you because I wanted to”
Julieta shivered a little when Félix took the necklace from her and turned her around so her back was facing him. She felt his warm breath on the back of her neck as he leaned in and passed the chain in front of her to put it on. The pendant was just above her heart and despite being small and light, she felt it so heavy, loaded with something that her best friend had awakened.
“There” he said
“Thank you” she smiled “but I still want to give you something just as special”
“Well…” he started before cutting himself
“Well what?” she raised an eyebrow “Is there something you’d like? What is it?”
“Nothing, nothing” he dismissed it “it was something silly-”
“Félix” she frowned “If there’s something I can get you to pay for this, just tell me”
“I told you you don’t have to pay me, it’s a gift!”
“But I want to! I want to give you something you’d love as much as I love this” she said “so, please, please tell me what do you want”
“I can’t”
“Why?”
“I swore I would never cross that line”
Julieta frowned in confusion and got closer to him, making him step back until his back was pressed against the tree once again. This time, she could actually see his blush and for a moment, hope woke up in her. Could it be, that her best friend felt the same way? That he had the same feelings for her that she had for him?
“Félix…what line you swore not to cross?” she asked “it can’t be that bad”
“It is” he said “I don’t want to push you away”
“You know there’s nothing you can do to push me away”
“This could do”
“Try me”
The young man looked into the woman’s eyes for a moment and all he could see was Julieta’s wish of making him happy. He knew it was a bad idea, but he wanted to think that their friendship was strong enough and that if she got mad, he could convince her later that it was a joke.
“I want…”
“Yes?”
“I want a kiss”
There. He said it. His best friend blinked and took a step back in surprise. She…wasn’t expecting that if she was completely honest. She was aware that her own feelings for him had changed a long time ago and sometimes she thought he could feel the same, but actually hearing him asking for a kiss from her…it was something else. However, the shock didn’t last long, and just as Félix tried to move and leave, heartbroken for her lack of answer, she took him by the neck of his shirt and locked her lips with his.
It took him by surprise, but he soon put his hands on her hips, pulling her closer until her chest met his and she deepened the kiss by pressing her tongue against his lips to ask for entrance, which he gladly gave.
“That was worth more than 1000 necklaces” he whispered once they parted
“on the contrary” she smiled “I think I’m still in debt, and perhaps I will be for a long, long time”
He laughed as she leaned down to capture his lips once again. He meant it when he said that it was a gift and she shouldn’t pay him anything, but this….this was something he could get used to.

“And what happened then?” Farina asked, her eyes glowing with that shine of someone who just witnessed true love
“Well, your mother and I started dating and things got hard. You see, we found out your aunt Pepa was also in love with me and she made devastating hurricane when she found out I loved her sister”
“That’s why Mrs. Alma stopped liking you?”
“Yes” he chuckled “she wanted me to marry Pepa in order to keep her happy and the weather clean. And she also wanted your mother to marry someone else. So we married and left Encanto”
He watched as his daughter thought about it for a moment and had to fight back a laugh when Farina frowned and made a disgusted face at the idea of her parents marrying someone else.
“I’m happy you married mami”
“So am I, sweetheart”
Both of them jumped a little and turned to see Julieta leaning against the door frame with her arms crossed and a huge loving smile on her face. Farina giggled and jump from her father’s lap to run to the woman’s open arms. Félix felt his heart exploding with love at the sight of his two women together.
“Papi, why did you get that necklace? Why the moon?” the girl asked, without looking up from the chain around her mother’s neck.
“Because your mother always reminded me of the moon” he said, walking up to them and hugging his wife from behind
“Why?”
“Because she’s beautiful and her light always illuminates my life, driving away the darkness”
“...mami protects me when I have nightmares” the girl said “does she protect you too?”
“Yes she does”
Farina smiled and nodded, giving her parents a kiss before she asked to be put down so she could go tell her sisters all about her new fantastic and favorite story. Julieta smiled and waited until she disappeared to turn around in Félix's arms.
“You know she’s going to ask you to tell her that story every night, right?”
“And I will for as long as she wants” he answered “it’s one of  my favorites too”
“Along with wedding and how we escaped together, I assume” she joked
“You know me too well” he smirked “but my absolute favorite is the story we write in the bed, it has created such beautiful creatures, hasn’t it?”
Julieta just laughed and shook her face as her husband leaned down to kiss her neck. She noticed the way his lips followed the chain, reminding her of the other reason she never took it off. She would never tell her daughters that the necklace was also responsible for their existence.

Request: "Hi! Could I request Dr Facilier, Hades and maybe Dipper and Mabel with a reader thats kinda like Bruno (can see the future, superstitious, a little bit paranoid and nervous), if this is over a character limit you can take anyone out. So sorry if this is a bit weird feel free to delete if you want" by @underqualified-human
💗Masterlist | WIP Page
Tumblr media
Dr. Facilier
It took you a while to even get the nerve to tell him about it.
Despite all the magic and voodoo, Facilier is still curious as hell about how you can see into the future.
Don't get him wrong, that's his gimmick for the tourists.
But, maybe having you see into the future as well, might also be better for business.
Well, until he sees how much of a nervous wreck you are.
Now, Facilier cares about money a lot, but he also cares about you
But he'll still ask you all the time, just to see if you changed your mind.
He does help you work through some of that superstition
"....Alright, you're doin' it."
"I....." You paused, "I don't think that I can move any closer than this."
"I mean, I don't like that creature more than you, but...."
"Facilier!"
"What?! I'm not an animal guy! you knew this!" Facilier said, eyeing the small black cat sitting in front of the both of you. "You're lucky it's a cat an not the ladder again."
"You wouldn't." You gasped. "Not after the last time."
"Try me."
Facilier's actually pretty good at calming down anxiety and anxious thoughts.
You refuse to give him a reading and Facilier refuses to hear one.
He's not about to listen to you give him horrible news when he already knows that that's going to happen anyway.
But, that doesn't mean that you don't like to mess with him
"I wouldn't grab that one today," You said in passing.
".....why?"
"No reason," You shrugged.

Hades
SCORE!
After all, Hades has had it with the Fates.
They can never give a straight forward answer, and seem to only cause more frustration than it's worth most of the time.
Now that he's got you, he doesn't have to bug them as much.
One problem though.
You were too scared to really use your powers for anything, which was something that Hades didn't really account for.
"You....What?"
"I don't really use it."
"Babe, I don't think that I'm understanding here?" Hades said, "Enlighten me a little."
"I hurt others in the past by seeing their future. I refuse to do so to anyone else."
"Alright, alright."
"Thank you." You sighed
"....But," He grinned, "And hear me out, I'm immortal, so nothing that bad could really happen to me, right? So, telling me the future would be okay."
Hades only stopped asking so frequently once he saw how anxious and upset you get whenever you do get one of your future visions unannounced.
He's still gonna ask, but he won't push as hard or ask as often.
It didn't take him long to notice how nervous and anxious you were.
"What's the issue?" He asked, surprising you one day. "Did someone do something?"
"Uh...." You said, "I just don't always see the nicest future for others. I guess that I let it get to me."
From then on, Hades made sure to always keep an eye on you, even trying to learn some calming techniques for you to do.
Although, he's gonna drop them in the conversation really subtly, and in passing.
You often like to leave him notes with little 'fortunes'
"Today is gonna be a good day. Trust me!"
"Well, how can I not when you put it like that?" Hades grinned.

Older!Dipper Pines
Dipper has so many questions.
He shoots them off rapid fire, not even pausing to breath.
"Hey!" You said, reaching out to stop him from rattling off any other questions. "You don't have to fire them all at once." You laughed.
"Sorry, I guess that I got a bit carried away, but I mean.." Dipper said, "Can you blame me?"
"Based off of what you and Mabel told me about this town, me being able to see the future should not be that much of a shock."
"Well it is to me! I've seen supernatural things, but no one I knew ever was one." Dipper said, "Besides, Bill, but I don't count him!"
"Oh, yeah, not even Gideon?"
"......Okay, so maybe this the second time." Dipper muttered, deflecting any and all memories of his first confrontation with Gideon.
You, of course, answered all and any of Dipper's many questions.
Although it did get to that on dreaded one that you hated.
"What do you see in the future for me?"
You knew that he didn't mean anything by this, but it still threw you off and caused more anxiety than you're willing to admit to.
Of course, Dipper was more than apologetic when you explained it to him, but he couldn't help but be curious as to why you don't like you power.
He also understood if you hid it from him for a bit, especially with he ever curiousness and ever invading Great Uncle Ford.
Which you defiantly understood when you first met Ford, who immediately bombard you with so many questions, even more than Dipper had when he first found out.
Even though you weren't a huge fan of using your power, you did like to sometimes mess with Dipper a little.
"DON'T GRAB THAT!"
"wHAT?!" Dipper dropped the pillow without hesitation, "Why?!"
"I can't tell you, but trust me!"
"Don't let them fool you, kid." Stan commented, "They did the same thing to me last week."
"And did you end up locked out of the house like I said?"
".........no." Stand said, before turning to Dipper. "Okay. I take that back."
Tumblr media
Older!Mabel Pines
Has questions, but not like Dipper.
She likes to ask more about if you've tried to see your own future
Or if you've seen anything about her in your visions.
So when she see you get so anxious and quiet when she asks this, Mabel immediately knows that she should not bring it up again.
"I'm sorry. I didn't mean-I just-" Mabel sighed, "You don't have to answer any of those dumb questions."
"...really?"
"Yeah!" She said, making you smile. "C'mon let's grab a movie or something." She paused, grinning brightly, shifting her gaze towards yours. "But, no spoiling the ending!" She laughed.
Mabel made sure to always keep her eye on you whenever she made some kind of light hearted joke about your future telling abilities.
If you weren't okay with her making jokes about it, she'll immediately stop once you tell her to do so or make it clear that her jokes are making you uncomfortable.
But if you don't mind them, she's fine with just making little jokes like that.
She also really likes seeing that smile on your face whenever she does crack a joke about your abilities.
You quickly learned that this is Mabel's way of beating around the no talking thing when it comes to your powers or really any touchy subjects with you relationship or relationship with others.
You quickly see that Mabel wants to keep everything peaceful and happy, which was confirmed in any and all visions that you've had about Mabel.
You often do not tell Mabel about these visions, except for the off chance that she witnesses you in that state or in the aftermath.
"It's okay. I have you. I won't let you go until you tell me too." Mabel said, tightening her arms around you, pulling you in closer towards her.
"I saw....I couldn't...." You breath out, shaking despite Mabel's tight grip.
"Shhhh." Mabel whispered, "It's okay. You don't have to tell me any of it, if you don't want to or it'll hurt too much." She added.
If you wanted to talk about the vision that you saw, Mabel was more than willing to listen to you.
If you didn't, she was more than happy to just sit with you and hold you.
Mabel refused to leave your side until she saw you smile, heard you laugh, or was 100,000% sure that you were okay and that she didn't need to hold you in a tight hug anymore.
Not that she didn't like doing that anyway, but she always wanted to make sure that she was comforting you in a way that you wanted and not in the way that Mable assumed you wanted.
You always appreciated everything that Mabel did to make you feel comfortable whenever you felt like this.

A BAD VISION
Bruno x gn!reader
Words: 2.3k
Read it on AO3
-
There was a knock at his door, the sound bouncing around the cliff faces until it reached Bruno in his little bedroom, nestled in a little alcove hidden away from the rest of the room. He groaned, burying his face into the soft fabric of his pillow, hoping beyond hope whoever it was would just leave him be.
It had already been a very, very long day. There had been so many visions, one towns person after another begging him for a peek at their futures only to turn on him when he had to be the bearer of bad news. Only now, nearing the end of his day, was he able to get some sort of rest, fighting through the pain of what had to be the worst migraine he had in some time in an attempt to get some sleep before dinner. He didn’t want to worry his family by the sight of him, far too pale, sweat beading his forehead, face twisted in pain as a breath hissed out of him after a particularly painful throb from his head. Under no circumstances was he in any mood to have to face yet another town's person begging for yet another vision they would only hate.
And yet, the knocking came again, like a hot nail being driven in his temple. He let out another groan but forced himself to leave the comforts of his bed, nudging his feet into their sandals. He took several deep breaths before gritting his teeth and forcing himself onto his feet. A wave of dizziness washed over him but he forced himself to keep moving, stumbling around the room in search of his ruana. It was difficult when the room was so dark and his vision had gone blurry after so many visions. He did, eventually, manage to stumble upon it, wincing at every knock that rang out. Once he had finally managed to somehow shove the ruana over his head he forced himself to stand straight and try to keep his face carefully blank. There was to be no weakness shown in front of others. He couldn’t let it slip even for a moment.
Once he thought he was ready, or when the knocking became too painful to withstand, he forced himself to walk as smoothly as possible to open the door.
There standing at his door was the one who was doing all that damned knocking, looking startled as the door was suddenly yanked open.
“How can I help you?” Bruno asked, doing what he could to keep his voice even and unbothered. Still, it cracked slightly at the end.
It seemed that this new visitor hadn’t noticed, at least, smiling their best smile at him.
“¡Señor Madrigal! I’m sorry to be bothering you, I just … I was hoping for a vision?”
Bruno nodded, slowly, feeling his head throb at the movement.
“Follow me.” He commanded, turning away to make his way to his vision cave. They followed close behind, though he didn’t turn to look at them. Still, he could feel their presence there, easily keeping pace as he slowly, far too slowly, trudged up the countless stairs. By the time he reached the top he was panting and out of breath, though he still tried his best to pretend he was fine. His visitor clearly was not fooled, however, looking at him with concern.
“Hey, are you okay?” They asked, but he shook his head, giving a breathless chuckle.
“I’ll be fine.” He lied, trying to give them a reassuring smile. “Just a lot of stairs, you know?”
They looked doubtful, but nodded anyway, letting him lead them through the ominous stone hallway and to the large, circular door that lay at the end. He had made sure to leave it open after his last vision, knowing if someone came in he would be in no proper state to actually open it himself. He wasn’t sure how he would be able to open it again after, but that was a problem for future him.
It shut behind them automatically, plunging them into the comforting dark. He sighed, the pressure in his head easing ever so slightly without the bright light burning its way into his eyes. That couldn’t last, however, as the faintest of green glows shone from where bits of emeralds were logged into the walls, giving just enough light to see what he was doing.
He motioned for them to enter the center of the room, where there was a circle of sand. They obediently sat, tracking him as he moved about the room and set the ritual up. When it was finally ready he took a deep, steadying breath, begging for the migraine to dissipate at least slightly so he could manage to get through this one vision, just one last one. It didn’t, of course, but there was no further delaying what was to come.
“What do you wish to see?”
They stared at the sand between them, staring into the middle fire he had lit.
“This is going to sound so stupid …” They mumbled, shaking their head. Bruno didn’t respond, happy to wait for as long as they needed. “I’m just … I’m worried about my dog. He sort of just … disappeared one night. It’s been over a month. I’m worried about him. And yeah, I know it sounds stupid, it’s just a dog after all, but … I don’t know, I love him. I just want to make sure he’s okay.”
Bruno nodded, fully understanding. Sometimes people cared very deeply for their pets. He knew he loved his own rats very much, regardless of what others thought of them. The thought of one of them just vanishing made his stomach curl.
Or maybe that was just nausea from the migraine.
He stretched out his hands and they laid theirs in his. He gritted his teeth, the pressure behind his eyes nearly unbearable as the sand around them began to fly into the air, forming a dome around them.
He knew the moment the vision started that it was too much for him. It felt like his head was about to burst, tears gathering in his eyes and running down his face as they stung. He was nearly blinded by the pain, unable to properly focus on the images that flashed across his sight, mirrored in the sand that surrounded them. His hands shook and they squeezed them, holding them tight as he was forced to keep going. He couldn’t stop, not now, not until they got their answer. This would end badly for him either way, he might as well be useful to them.
Every moment felt like agony, but before long the final image flashed. He could only just make out the shape of an animal but nothing more. That would have to be enough.
The sand fell around them, the sound like rain as the glass gently fell between them.
He groaned, the room swirling around him in a blur. He didn’t even notice when he fell as well, falling limply to the side. He did hear a yell, but his mind was too foggy to make out what was said or even who was saying it. He could do nothing as waves of exhaustion and pain raked his body, forcing his fingers to twitch with every pulse. There was the feeling of something warm on his cheek, some sort of sound that must have been a voice, before his thoughts drifted away from him and he felt his eyelids sliding closed.
-
When he woke up, he was in his bed.
His mind was too foggy to work properly but he got the distinct feeling that he shouldn’t have been there.
He groaned, shifting under his blanket as he pried his eyes open to glance around the room, trying to ignore the all too familiar throb of his head. The room was blessedly dark, the furniture nothing more than shadows and figures. He could feel the warmth of his rats snuggled around his head and chest, four points of comfort he was immensely grateful for.
“Are you awake?”
He frowned at the voice. It was familiar, but he didn’t know why. It wasn’t his sisters or his mother, that he knew. He squinted into the dark of the room, finding one of the shadows moved, settling close to his bed. Despite the dark he could see their eyes, shining with genuine concern and worry, and he remembered.
“Sí.” He said, voice quiet, pained, and tired, so terribly tired. “I’ll be fine.”
He could hear them huff.
“That's what you said before collapsing! So sorry if I don’t believe you.” They argued back, voice just a bit too loud, feeling like a sledgehammer against his skull. At the very least they noticed his wince and lowered their voice for him, keeping it gentle and calm. “I’m getting your sister.”
“No!”
His hand shot out, grabbing their wrist before he could even think. Granted, that wasn’t very difficult at the moment. His thoughts were slow, flowing like molasses in his cotton stuffed head.
“Please, don’t.”
They were frozen for a moment, hopefully pondering his request, before finally relenting with a sigh, kneeling back down by the side of the bed. One of the rats stirred from their spot at his chest to go investigate but they didn’t even seem to mind.
“Alright, alright.” They said in their gentle voice and he could feel himself sink into the mattress, comforted if only for a moment. “But you have to tell me what happened.”
He frowned, trying to get his muddled thoughts together enough to form an answer of some sort.
“I was … It was too much, the vision. I already had so many visions just today before you came in.”
“You overworked yourself.” They said it as a statement, no question in their voice he nodded. A moment of silence passed between the two, silence Bruno was more than happy for. “I never knew …” They mumbled a moment later, sounding … sad? What were they sad about? “Is there anything I can do? Anything that can help?”
He hummed, wincing at the pain once more before he could answer.
“I’ll be fine, I just need to rest. And dark. And quiet. I just … just need to lay here a bit.”
There was a moment of silence and he thought he could see the figure shift slightly.
“Alright… I suppose I should leave you to rest, then.” They said, getting up to leave, but he stopped them again. He wasn’t sure why, not while his brain was so muddled, but it felt important that they don’t leave. Not yet.
“Please.” His voice came out weaker than he wanted it to, but he hardly noticed. “Stay. I don’t … I can’t …” He huffed in irritation, his attempts at putting together a sentence hanging in the air. He wasn’t even sure what he was trying to say.
Another pause, but then they were sitting down, their back leaning against the bed frame. It was the perfect position for the rat who had been sniffing at them to climb on their shoulder.
“Ok, I’ll stay, at least until you fall asleep.”
He sighed, relaxing into the mattress even as the pain in his head throbbed unbearably.
“Gracias …” he mumbled, eyes sliding closed, letting the dark and silence wash over him like a balm. All he could hear of them was there gentle breathing, but even that was enough to calm his limbs and settle the cotton in his head. He knew he would probably regret this later. When he woke he would only be able to think about how much of a fool he had made of himself, so needy, so pathetic, but none of those thoughts passed his mind now. Now all he wanted was to sleep, comforted by the knowledge that he wasn’t alone.
It only took a few minutes before his breathing evened out and you knew he had fallen back asleep.
You sighed, pulling your knees to your chest. You felt guilt like a hot iron settling in your chest, bringing tears to your eyes.
You hadn’t known. How could you? No one else had mentioned how much the visions took out of the man. All they could be bothered to do is mutter about the bad look a vision from him brought, as if he himself was altering their futures for the worse. You couldn’t believe for a moment that any of the Madrigals, the people hell bent on helping their community thrive, would do something as evil as that.
But the point remained. The vision he had given you had only brought him pain, left him fainting and weak and … and it was all your fault. Your grip on your knees tightened, digging into the fabric of your clothes.
You had to make it up to him. Somehow.
Gently, ever so careful, you got up, tiptoeing through the dark to reach his door. You only dared to open it a crack, glancing back to the bed to make sure the sliver of light didn’t bother the man. He remained sleeping, face still twisted slightly in pain, making your heart clench.
You left.
On the walk home you made the decision to visit him again soon. Maybe you should bring him something, too. The only thing you could come up with was food, though you knew his sister’s cooking would be better than anything you could come up with. But it was the thought that counted, right? And maybe you could bring something for the rats you had seen, too. They seemed to be his pets, snuggling close to his body like that. Maybe that would make him happy.
You nodded to yourself, determined.
You would make it up to him. For everything. Not just for the vision, but for everything the town did to him.

Triplets + Félix "you're in love with her" (maybe one of the Triplets (either Julieta or Bruno) realizing he is in love with their sister)
Send me a prompt.
Sorry this took a while!
9. "You're in love with her."
Julieta wound her way through the crowd of partygoers milling around. Though she had been looking forward to the party all week, she had spent the day cooking and handing out food to people in town, and her feet were screaming for a break. She spotted an open seat at a table and beelined to it before someone else could take it.
As soon as she sat down, she felt relief. Being off her feet, resting, was exactly what she needed. Sure, she felt kind of bad not being more sociable tonight, the way her sister was, but she figured being present had to count for something. She’d already made the rounds and greeted everyone. She deserved a break.
Speaking of her sister…Julieta’s eyes drifted over to where everyone was dancing. Pepa was the star, spinning eagerly in the center of the crowd to whoops and cheers. Everyone was watching her, but she didn’t seem to notice. She was too lost in the music, a rainbow shining brightly over her head.
Julieta smiled. Her sister loved dancing, and never missed an opportunity to show off her talents. For her, dancing came as naturally as breathing. While she certainly didn’t mind attention, Pepa danced first and foremost for herself. The dancefloor was her true home, just like Julieta’s was her kitchen.
“Mind if I join you?” A voice interrupted Julieta’s people watching.
Looking up, she saw it was Félix. “Go right ahead.” She gestured to the now empty seat next to her. A lot more seats had opened up, now that more people had migrated over to the dancefloor.
“Thanks.” He sat down, his eyes wandering over to the crowd of people dancing.
“If you want to go join them, I won’t get offended,” Julieta promised with a chuckle.
“No, no, it’s okay. I’d rather sit this one out.” He offered Julieta a smile, but it didn’t light up his eyes the way his smiles normally did.
“Félix Castillo sitting out a dance? Now I’ve seen everything.”
He shrugged. “Eh, it’s fine.” He didn’t face Julieta while he talked, keeping his body turned towards the dancers. “I’ll join in on the next one.”
“Okay…” Julieta was unconvinced. “Seriously though, I don’t mind if you join them.”
“You kicking me out, Juli?” This time, his smile was more genuine.
“Never! You’re my friend, why would I do that? I just know how much you love to dance.”
He hummed his assent absently, cradling his chin in his hands and resting his elbows on his knees.
Julieta frowned. “You okay, Félix?”
“What? Oh, yeah, yeah, fine,” he answered hollowly, staring out into the distance.
“You know you can talk to me, if something is wrong,” she coaxed, giving him an encouraging touch on the shoulder.
“I’m just tired.” He sighed deeply. “It was a long day in the field today.”
“I understand. Me and Pepa were running around all day too. Only Bruno got to take a break. Guess no one needed a vision.”
At the sound of Pepa’s name, something flitted through Félix’s eyes- melancholy, longing? But as soon as it appeared, it was gone. He drew himself up and faced Julieta, schooling his features into a smile. “So today was busy for you too?”
“Yeah; it seemed like half the town needed healing. People must have been practicing their dance moves for the party or something because I’d never seen so many sprained ankles in one day!”
“Really?” he replied halfheartedly, still watching the dancers.
He wasn’t listening to her. Something- or rather, someone, captured his attention. Interesting… Biting her lip to stifle a giggle, she added, “And then there was that one guy the donkey kicked into the river. Aside from some scaliness, he’s going to be just fine.”
“Oh. Oh good.” The words came out of his mouth automatically.
“Félix, what did I just say?”
He screwed up his face, thinking. “Guy fell in a river…” He mentally replayed the conversation. “Oh.” He frowned.
“You weren’t listening to a word I was saying,” she stated.
He sighed wearily. “Sorry, Juli, I’m not feeling my best tonight. I didn’t mean to be rude.”
“Don’t worry about that.” She dismissed with a wave. “Go dance, Félix.” She extended an arm towards the dancefloor. “It’s obvious you want to.”
“Ah, not tonight-“
“Plus, it’s weird not seeing you on the dancefloor.” Julieta kept talking right over him. “You’re like the king of the dancefloor. Not having you there feels wrong, like, like,” she cast about for the right comparison, “like letting Pepa cook dinner.”
That time, she definitely caught his wistful sigh. “She’s not that bad, Julieta. Last time she only burned the chicken. Cut her some slack.”
She could hear the tenderness in his voice as he defended Pepa’s limited culinary abilities. She hadn’t actually been poking fun at her sister; Pepa was never going to be a cook, and that was fine. What she was interested in was how Félix would react to the comment. Because their conversation so far had planted a little suspicion in her head, and if she was right…
Time to step up her game. “Good thing she’s better at dancing than cooking.” She gestured to Pepa, still whirling around, illuminated by a dazzling display of colors.
But there was no need for the pretense. Félix’s eyes were already glued to her, following her around as she moved through the crowd. “She sure is,” he said, smiling sadly.
Julieta knew that expression. She saw it on her brother when he was mooning over some girl. She saw it in the mirror, after she’d had to heal Agustín for the tenth time that day. And most often, she saw it on Pepa, after the three of them had spent time with Félix. She’d be walking on clouds the whole way home, and then, when she thought Julieta couldn’t hear her, she would cry her heart out.
There was no good way to do this. Those two would just keep dancing around their feelings as deftly as they did on the dancefloor. She couldn’t just sit back and watch them both suffer when what they wanted was within reach.
“Félix…” she trailed off, placing her hand on his arm. The look he gave her was filled with so much anguish that it broke her heart. How did he not realize that Pepa felt the same way? But it wasn’t her place to tell him. Pepa had to do that herself. Instead, she just said softly, “You’re in love with her.”
He didn’t deny it. The corner of his lip twitched upward, but that was all the indication he gave that he’d heard her.
She gave him a supportive smile. “Go dance with her,” she encouraged.
“I can’t.”
Julieta scoffed. “What do you mean, you can’t? You two have danced together plenty of times before.”
He let out his longest sigh yet. “I don’t want to make things awkward between us. We’ve all been such good friends, I don’t want to ruin that. I know she doesn’t see me that way.”
Julieta gnawed on the inside of her cheek to keep herself from screaming. She loved Pepa so much, and Félix was like a brother to her, but they were acting like complete idiots right now, refusing to acknowledge what was right there in front of them. “But she really likes-“ she stopped herself before she could blurt it out “dancing with you.” She congratulated herself on the quick save. “You’re the only guy that can keep up with her.” Which was true in more ways than one…
He laughed, a real smile lighting up his face. “Yeah, none of those guys can keep up with her. She’s dancing circles around them.” But as soon as he finished speaking, his face returned to its previous wistful state. He made no effort to get out of the chair.
Julieta rolled her eyes. She had to do everything herself, huh? Standing up, she took Félix by the arm and dragged him out of his chair, walking him towards the dancefloor.
“Hey, Juli, wait!” He protested, digging his heels into the ground to slow them down. “What are you doing?”
“Reuniting the king and queen of the dancefloor.” Her eyes sparkled mischievously as she kept striding towards the crowd.
“Whoa, hold on, I didn’t agree to this!” He tugged his arm out of her grasp and stopped in his tracks.
Julieta turned back around, surprised. “What’s the matter?”
“I’m…I’m not ready,” he admitted. “I can’t. Not yet.”
“It’s a dance, not a marriage proposal,” Julieta pointed out. Based on the bashful look on his face, the latter didn’t seem too far out of the question either. “You really got it bad, huh?”
He didn’t say anything; just scuffed his shoes on the ground.
“Come on, lover boy; one dance. After that, you can do whatever you want.” Though Julieta had a feeling it wouldn’t end at just one dance.
“One dance,” he relented, allowing her to grab his arm again.
Finally, she managed to get him to the dancefloor. She elbowed her way through the crowd of people, pushing through until she got to Pepa, tapping her on the shoulder. “Oh, hermana…” she called out.
Pepa stopped dancing, looking at her in confusion. “What? What is it? I was dancing.” She saw Félix, and a dozen tiny rainbows sprung up over her head as she blushed. “Oh, hola, Félix,” she greeted him shyly, averting her eyes.
“Someone wants to dance with you.” Julieta all but shoved him into her sister.
Pepa appeared positively thrilled by this development. Her rainbows shone even more brightly as she waited expectantly for him to ask.
Julieta watched him as he took a moment to collect himself, steeling his nerves.
“Would you care to dance?” He held out his hand to her.
She accepted it graciously. “I thought you’d never ask.”

Since you like Encanto so much, what are your thoughts on the grandma? I feel sorry for her, but some of the things she did, like kicking Bruno out of their home just it make it hard for me to actually like her
Let's take a look at the timeline and context of the events here (and gush about how good this movie is):
In her youth, Alma falls in love with Pedro, and the two are happilly married, crazy about each other, have triplets, live in nice home, in a seemingling happy town.
Unfortunately, her happiness ends pretty fast, because in one of the many, many, MANY civil conflicts Colombia had, her home and her town are destroyed, and she and Pedro are forced to run away. Considering there were people happy for them at their wedding, yet they're protecting solely each other and their kids before Pedro's death AND that Alma seems to not really be all that close to anyone outside of her kids and grandkids in the future, it is implied that both of their families, as well as any close friends (instead of just acquaintances) they had, were already dead before Pedro was killed - right in front of Alma.
Yet his sacrifice wasn't in vain. A miracle happens because of her suffering and pain - nature itself starts to protect her, and the other refugees, isolating the place they're at, making it impossible for anyone to get to them. Alma also gets Casita, a magic, sentient house that will shelter her and help her as much as possible. But she still has many challenges to face: she needs to rebuild and protect her comunity with the people that survived. She needs to look after them, AND raise her three kids... alone. Without having the time, or the strength, to properly deal with the immense pain she's still feeling from having gone through what was essentially hell on earth.
Five years later, she discovers there is another thing the miracle is giving her, and the town she's now leading: her children were blessed with magical powers. Pepa controls the weather, Bruno sees the future, and Julieta can heal the sick and injured. It is pretty obvious that her kids are meant to use those powers to help their comunity, and so Alma pushes them to do just that. She pushes them too hard.
Fourty years later, Alma is still grieving her husband every single day, and the threat of having her town being invaded and destroyed still looms largely over her head (again, this isn't something Disney made up, it is based on the very real conflicts and tragedies that affect Colombia today, and have been for many DECADES). And when her grand-daughter, Mirabel, doesn't get her magical gift, and cracks start appearing in their home, she knows that her worst nightmare is coming true: the miracle, the only thing protecting the people she loves, is dying.
She turns to her son for help, asking him to have another vision to maybe explain what is happening and how they could fix it. However, Bruno has been constantly being seen as a bad guy by everyone in town, including his own family, because surprise, surprise, people don't usually like the person who is always bringing them the bad news. His vision is very confusing, but it does suggest that Mirabel is to blame for the miracle dying. To spare his niece of the same fate he had, and to finally no longer deal with the pressure his mother puts on everyone to be perfect, and with the antagonism of nearly everyone around him, Bruno CHOOSES to "run away" from home (hiding in the walls, where no one will hurt him or be hurt by his visions again, yet still allowing him to be "with" the people he loves so dearly). Unfortunatelly, that only makes the problem worse, and also means that Alma, on top of all the trauma she's already dealing with, now has no answers to what is going on, and was, in her eyes, betrayed and abandoned by her own son when she needed him most.
She presses on anyway. He grandchildren are now under the same pressure she (ACCIDENTALLY) put their parents through, and the town, and even the other members of the family, only encourage it. Meanwhile, history repeats itself, with everyone looking down on Mirabel, and the only ones who SOMETIMES stand up for her are her parents. Through it all, Alma prays to her husband for guidance, for him to open her eyes to what she can't yet see. She only manages to keep the facade up for ten more years, but the death of the miracle seems more and more inevitable each day. She continues to say "We cannot lose our home again."
But they do. Alma blames Mirabel for the impeding tragedy that is about to happen, and lets out her frustration about Bruno "abandoning" her by saying he didn't care about the family. Mirabel then points out the uncomfortable truth no one dared to say out loud: Alma and her absurd perfectionism were what caused this whole problem to start. Alma is shocked by her grand-daughter's words, and hurt because she knows they are true. The miracle then finally dies, and Mirabel runs away. Alma goes after her - goes to the same spot where she lost Pedro fifty years ago. Mirabel then blames herself for it all, essentially giving Alma an excuse to go back to normal and pretend nothing ever happen.
She doesn't take it. Instead, she apologizes to Mira, and at last opens up about her pain, telling her story and saying "We are broken because of me", showing us that she didn't tell the story to try to justify or downplay her actions, or even to seak solace. She was taking all the blame for everything. Mirabel doesn't let her do it, offering her comfort and assuring her they'll find a way to fix their family, with or without a miracle. Alma then embraces her grand-daughter, accepts her son back with open arms, and apologizes to everyone she hurt. The madrigals, as well as all the people they helped through these years, rebuild their home, which ends up saving the miracle.
Alma is a deeply flawed person, and nothing can excuse her actions - which is why she doesn't even try to make up excuses for herself. The moment she realizes she was hurting her family, she takes responsibility for her actions (which again, she was not the only one who made those mistakes and treated people unfairly), apologizes, and immediately tries to be better.
She made some pretty terrible mistakes that hurt everyone, including herself, for many, many years. That doesn't mean she's a terrible person and that she can't change her ways. Her story is the tale of two tragedies: one that was completely outside of her control and that only ended because of her pain, and one that she accidentally brought onto herself and that only ended when she let go of her pain.
So yeah, no slander against Alma will be tolerated here!

“Behind Locked Doors” Playlist
Tumblr media
After the amazing response to the “Get On Your Knees And Pray To Me” playlist, I felt it was finally time to formally put together a playlist for my Professor Tom Hiddleston fic, “Behind Locked Doors”. Just like the “Get On Your Knees And Pray To Me” playlist, you will find a collection of songs with Youtube links to listen to each individual song along with a few select lyrics from each song that stand out to me! You can also listen to the complete playlist on Spotify!
Happy listening!
Read “Behind Locked Doors” here
This playlist loosely follows the plot of the story. I recommend listening to the songs in order, but shuffling them is also fine as well!
Listen to the playlist on Spotify
Slow Hands - Niall Horan
"We should take this back to my place" That's what she said right to my face 'Cause I want you bad Yeah, I want you, baby I've been thinking 'bout it all day And I hope you feel the same way, yeah 'Cause I want you bad Yeah, I want you, baby
Slow, slow hands Like sweat dripping down our dirty laundry No, no chance That I'm leaving here without you on me I, I know Yeah, I already know that there ain't no stoppin' Your plans and those Slow hands (woo) Slow hands

Heartbreak Weather - Niall Horan
Yeah I saw you smiling, breaking the silence Telling me just what you want There in the moment, I was reminded I haven't felt this way in a while
Blinded by the sparks We were driving around in the dark Finding reasons to stay where we are
All of my life I've been sleep-walk living Running around the same bars I've been in It can be so lonely in this city But it feels different when you're with me All of my life, it's been heartbreak weather Thinking to myself it won't get better It can be so lonely in this city But it feels different when you're with me

How Would You Feel (Paean) - Ed Sheeran
You are the one girl And you know that it's true I'm feeling younger Every time that I'm alone with you
We were sitting in a parked car Stealing kisses in the front yard We got questions we should not ask but
How would you feel, if I told you I loved you? It's just something that I want to do I'll be taking my time, spending my life Falling deeper in love with you So tell me that you love me too
Secret Love Song, Pt. II - Little Mix
We keep behind closed doors Every time I see you, I die a little more Stolen moments that we steal as the curtain falls It'll never be enough As you drive me to my house I can't stop these silent tears from rolling down You and I both have to hide On the outside where I can't be yours and you Can't be mine But I know this We got a love that is homeless
Why can't I hold you in the street? Why can't I kiss you on the dance floor? I wish that it could be like that Why can't it be like that? 'Cause I'm yours Why can't I say that I'm in love? I wanna shout it from the rooftops I wish that it could be like that Why can't it be like that? 'Cause I'm yours
Teacher’s Pet - Melanie Martinez
Caught the teacher giving his eyes to a student Thought he pretty cute and she bit her lip back to him Chewing on her nails and her pens while she's dreaming of him And he's fucking in sin, you know he is
She said, "It's for all the right reasons Baby, don't care 'bout grades Just call me your lady If I pass this quiz will you give me your babies? Don't call me crazy You love me but you won't come save me You got a wife and kids, you see them daily Don't know why you even need me"
Teacher's pet If I'm so special why am I secret? Yeah, why the fuck is that?
Meet Me in the Hallway - Harry Styles
Just let me know I'll be at the door, at the door Hoping you'll come around Just let me know I'll be on the floor, on the floor Maybe we'll work it out Gotta get better, gotta get better Gotta get better, gotta get better Gotta get better, gotta get better And maybe we'll work it out
We don't talk about it It's something we don't do 'Cause once you go without it Nothing else will do
Yesterday - The Beatles
Yesterday All my troubles seemed so far away Now it looks as though they're here to stay Oh, I believe in yesterday
Suddenly I'm not half the man I used to be There's a shadow hangin' over me Oh, yesterday came suddenly
Why she had to go, I don't know, she wouldn't say I said something wrong, now I long for yesterday
Back to You - Selena Gomez
You could break my heart in two But when it heals, it beats for you I know it's forward, but it's true
I wanna hold you when I'm not supposed to When I'm lying close to someone else You're stuck in my head and I can't get you out of it If I could do it all again I know I'd go back to you I know I'd go back to you I know I'd go back to you
Kiss It Better - Rihanna
Man, fuck your pride Just take it on back, boy take it on back boy Take it back all night Just take it on back, take it on back Mmm, do what you gotta do, keep me up all night Hurting vibe, man, and it hurts inside when I look you in your eye
What are you willing to do Oh tell me what you're willing to do? (Kiss it, kiss it better, baby) Oh what are you willing to do? Oh, tell me what you're willing to do? Kiss it, kiss it better, baby
All Of The Stars - Ed Sheeran
I can hear your heart On the radio beat They're playing 'Chasing Cars' And I thought of us Back to the time, You were lying next to me I looked across and fell in love So I took your hand Back through lamp lit streets I knew Everything led back to you So can you see the stars? Over Amsterdam You're the song my heart is Beating to
So open your eyes and see The way our horizons meet And all of the lights will lead Into the night with me And I know these scars will bleed But both of our hearts believe All of these stars will guide us home

yo fam could you do the dying kisses prompt for my passione boys? I've been lurking on ur blog for the longest time and wanted to let u know that i love ur blog 💝💝
[[ To make things painful and easier for me I wrote it as reader dying and the boys mourning. Tbh if you want the boys dying instead just send me another ask. Also trigger warning this is honestly very depressing. Also it is very long so i put it under the cut, I also got very carried away and now I am very very sad. If you want more feels and set the mood a little, I wrote all this to illion’s Miracle on Spotify.]]
✖ Bruno Buccielati ✖
Burno doesn’t scream when he realises you can’t be saved, he cries, silently he cries so much, there is no sound other than him periodically sucking in air as the tears streak down his face. He would be holding you slowly getting limp in his arms, bending down to make sure he can hear your last words as you bleed out, not caring how red soaked his white outfit gets. The rest of his team doing their best holding out against the enemy to give the two of you time. No one is talking other than you telling Bruno how much you love him over and over again in the fear of death. Bruno replies you telling you how much he loves you too, how proud he is to have someone like you in his life supporting you even now, in your last moments. He silently begs whatever gods he knows of to keep you alive in his arms, he knows its futile but he wishes so badly he could save you so badly that he would wake up from this nightmare. When you ask him for a last kiss he obliges, his endless flow of tears soaking your face as he presses his lips against yours. Your lover gives you another deep kiss as your breathing slows to a stop. Only then did he let out an agonisingly loud sob, his hands balling up into fists so intensely his nails would dig into his palms drawing blood. But there was no time to cry now, the enemy was still nearby, he refused to let himself die before his revenge. Carefully Bruno would carry your body to somewhere safe, telling your dead body to wait for him before wiping his tears and rejoining the battle stronger than ever with his burning resolve for to avenge you.
✖ Pannacotta Fugo ✖
He screams he is angry beyond anything, he would hold you tight in his arms as  Purple Haze went wild before him, literally melting your assailant into nothingness. It was a miracle neither of you were infected with the virus but that joy was short lived as you cough up so much blood. Fugo would let out an agonised cry when he feels you heave in his arms, your blood dripping through the holes in his outfit. Now that the enemy was dead he was filled with pure and utter despair. He always feared his own stand would be the one to hurt you, if he had known you would get hurt by someone other than him he would have gone all out earlier. He sobs holding you telling you how sorry he is that he didn’t protect you. How sorry he is that he let someone else hurt you how sorry he is that you were in this state. When you smile at him telling him that you forgive him he would choke back his tears. As you ask him for a final kiss he instantly presses his lips against yours, his warm body pressed against yours as you slowly go cold against him. As you stop breathing Fugo would slowly lose it, not even using his stand, with his own two hands he would wreck the concrete walls near you. Knuckles bloody as he would finally crumble off some of the wall, only then did he fall to the floor and sob once more. When the rest of the team arrive on scene Fugo was different he was now just as cold as you, an empty shell of whatever emotions he had left taken from him moments before.
✖ Giorno Giovanna ✖
Gold Experience was doing whatever it could, you looked perfectly fine, your very being looking as perfect as usual but he knew it was too late. The poison of the enemy already deep set in your very being, no matter how many parts he replaces, you wouldn’t survive. Giorno didn’t even realise he was crying until you used what little strength you had to tell him not to cry anymore. Giorno didn’t even realise just how much pain losing you was until you told him again and again that you loved him and you thanked him for being a part of your life until the very end. He thought he understood loss, he thought that being part of the dark mafia world for so long left him a hardened criminal. No, he realised the only reason loss never hurt him this much before was because you were always there to comfort him on his darkest nights. Even now you were doing the same, telling him that he was strong, that he would live for you, that he was the very embodiment of an angel if you could ever see one. Giorno would give you a sad smile, asking you how could he be so amazing when you lay here dying in his own arms. When an even more intense wave of pain coursed through your veins you knew it wasn’t long. Asking him for a final kiss, he would give it to you, it was soft, his lips pressed against yours, you were happy this was your last moment, you smiled into the kiss as the life in you faded. When Mista finally cleared the enemies outside and entered the rival boss’s room, all he saw was just an endless number of flowers surrounding your dead body as Giorno stood beside you, his eyes empty, now truly the cold hardened criminal he thought he was.
✖ Narancia Ghirga ✖
He was at total loss, he couldn’t stop shaking as he clutched you tightly in his arms. It was a duo recon mission, it was supposed to be quick and easy, he even had Aerosmith on alert he just couldn’t understand how an enemy even spotted and shot at you. It took literally everything the two of you had to run away. The adrenaline finally wearing off, you crumble into Narancia’s embrace, you feel his tears drip and fall down your face. He wanted so badly to scream, so so badly, he was biting his lip so hard to hold it back. He couldn’t even let out too loud of a sob, he didn’t want the enemy finding you and actually finishing the two of you off. You’d call out to him, scared but staying strong for your lover. Your voice would pull Narancia out of his panic attack, he didn’t have much time left with you he shouldn’t be freaking out. You would smile, asking him to talk to you to try and keep you awake. Narancia would blabber on, telling you how much he loved you, shaky laughter as he cries and tells you weird facts about your first few dates with him. Wheezing as he tells you how he wanted to marry you and how he was saving up to bring you somewhere the next time you guys had a holiday. As you lost the feeling in your arms and legs you’d tell Narancia to kiss you one last time. He would bite back more tears before telling you to stop joking this wouldn’t be the last time. He knew better however, as he bent down and pressed his lips against yours, holding on tightly to you as you slowly go limp in his arms. Like a flame going out, for Narancia this was the exact point of his life where he realises he would never love anyone like he loved you ever again.
✖ Leone Abbacchio ✖
Rage, despair, the pure regret and self hate exploding through him, his vision was getting blur from the pure trauma of watching someone important to him get shot again. He chose a life of solitude when he joined Passione, it took you months almost years to get him to open up and accept you in his life. He walled himself off because of this very fear, this nightmare of a hellscape just unfolding before his eyes as your body hit the floor. This was so much worse than back when he was a cop, this was so much worse because he knew so badly that this was a possibility and he let that doubt get pushed away only for it to happen again. He couldn’t even hear the rest of the squad told him to stay by your side as they chased the assailant down. You were the light of his life and now your light was flickering on the brink of extinguishing and he literally could do nothing about it. Abbacchio moved automatically, picking you up in his arms as he ran towards backup, uncharastically begging for anyone to save you and tend to you. Even when the mafia’s field surgeon tells him to prepares for the worse he still holds on to you. The pain just dripping from his voice as he begs you not to leave him alone. You would apologise through the pain you knew that this was his fear and you hated it so bad that you could literally feel yourself dying. Asking him for a final kiss, telling him to make it good so he could replay it forever, you tell him over and over how much you love him and telling him to stay strong before his lips pressed hard against yours. When you finally die in his very arms Abbacchio stopped crying. His tear ducts were empty and he was blanking out from the pure mental strain. The only thing keeping him alive is Moody Blue’s taking your form of your last moments.
✖ Guido Mista ✖
He watched it happen to his beloved Capo and he hated how he begged Giorno to save you too. He knew it wouldn’t last he knew your body would give out soon, your wounds no longer healing. So the two of you spent your last days enjoying to the limit, recreating dates laughing and sleeping together at night. Now that all that joy was burnt out all that was left was the depressing reality as Mista held your very cold dead body in his arms. You thank your lover for the past few days, the choice was hard on him but you were glad in the end you could spend your last hours with him. Mista knew, he could see your body slowly failing itself. The two of you sat on a bench in town in the dead of night. The place where the two of you had your first date. Reality slowly kicking in, Mista finally get serious, telling you how much he loves you. Telling you endlessly all the reasons he loves you, thanking you for an almost endless amount of things, from existing in his life teaching him about true love to painfully laughing as he thanks you for teaching him the difference between shampoo and body wash. He would tightly hold your hand in his before running his fingers through your hair as he tries his best to remember every sensation of you. You tell him that he’d never be alone, you promise him how even as a spirit you’d make sure to always look out for him, he turns to you, giving you a pained smile at the comment. As your already blurry vision slowly turns black around the edges, you turn to the love of your life asking him to give you a final kiss before you can’t feel anything anymore. So he did, his arms pull you in, silent tears dab your cheek as he passionately kisses you for the last time. A minute or so passes before you fall limp in his arms. Since then Mista just never really smiled the same anymore.
