The point is, we Ferengi are just as tough as anyone in the galaxy. And this is our chance to prove it, once and for all.
STAR TREK: DEEP SPACE NINE - 6.10 THE MAGNIFICENT FERENGI
STAR TREK: DEEP SPACE NINE // S4E25 Body Parts
Look, I've broken the contract, so do your job. Take my assets, revoke my Ferengi business licence, do whatever you have to do, then get out. And if I ever see you walk into my bar again... Yes? You won't walk out.
The Magnificent Ferengi (S06E10, Stardate UNKNOWN) is perhaps my favorite Ferengi episode in all of Star Trek. It fits into the Dominion War arc, explores Vorta culture, gives us a variety of Ferengi, time on Empok Nor, a zombie Vorta, and a ton of humor and excitement. There really is not a weak moment.
Can you guess the movie franchise that inspired my episode poster?
JEFFREY COMBS: Yes, the, that's true, uh. The third to the last episode of Deep Space Nine, uh, if you count the last episode, which was a two parter, uh, uh I play Brunt and Weyoun in the same episode.
I wanted to have a scene where we actually pass in a hallway and turn and look at each other, and maybe not say a word! But just, like, "Do I know you?" But uh, but that was proved to be technically way too difficult to do. Cause you'd have to have doubles and two days of work and lots of hours in the makeup chair. So, so but as it was, though, in the, in the episode, there's actually a couple of times, or at least one time where they cut from me to me [laughs] as another character.
"my main ship and crack ship are all about Quark: Quark/Grilka, Quark/Natima Lang, Brunt/Quark, Elim Garak/Quark, Keiko/Quark, Lwaxana/Quark I really think Elim Garak/Quark is kind of spicy. I also think Quark probably had multiple crush on Romulan women like Kimara Cretak. He's a disaster."
