More tiny guests!! both requests and some I just thought of! I absolutely had to make Gab and Wells when someone asked for them

Gab is a sea otter for: sea, floats, has special rock (island), needed friends not to lose himself, breaks open shells

Wells is a puma/cougar because of 'The Island of Doctor Moreau' by HG Wells (it's medical horror so watch out) for the puma-woman hybrid that killed Dr Moreau.

Yosano is a honey badger (please look at this video, warning for swearing) because they're metal as fuck and don't die from poison.

Atsushi. I tried to make him something else but I couldn't think of anything good and he had a whole arc about accepting the tiger. I let him have this one.

Ranpo is cat for Fukuzawa's sake (warning: this might actually make Fukuzawa explode)

Fukuzawa might hold the "lone wolf" title, but he's also the chill guy who has taken in all the other ADA members. He gets capybara'd.

Mori is a chipmunk here because we were talking about how they actually are omnivores and then I found this picture and couldn't stop laughing. Sometimes I'm shallow like that. (I'm open to suggestions for more fitting mammals with a matching Elise if you have one jhsdgfhjh)

and Sigma is a rabbit because he's nervous and jumpy yet fierce and inexplicably just has that vibe 🐇

I want BEAST!Fukuzawa and BEAST!Atsushi to interact because I think it’d be interesting to see former assassin Fukuzawa try to reconcile the reputation of a nightmarishly deadly former Port Mafia assassin with this skinny, timid, anxious kid who is so terrified of losing control and hurting people that he voluntarily wears a collar that drives metal spikes into his neck.

The idea of the mafia trade deal still being on if Fukuzawa actually is dead is so funny actually.

Like I’m just imagining Mori and Dazai having a competition of who can make the most passive aggressive threats in one meeting, and Kunikida, “new president of the ADA”, sitting there, on the verge of tears, confused as hell, and a few weeks into a mental breakdown.

curious on your opinion/theory about this, How do you think Fukuzawa's ability has affected Dazai's?

This answer can have layers, but the conclusion will still be: it did absolutely nothing to it 😅

Ultimately the reason is that no ability can influence Dazai, no exception. No passive powers can affect him (Shibusawa's fog, that blond guy's numbers in Entrance Exam/episode 7, Rimbaud's subspace...) and he nullifies any ability that comes in contact with him (either through a manifestation like Kunikida's things and Q's doll, or the user).

The only "exception" I can think of is Gogol's ability, and the logic behind that one was clearly stated in the manga as being that Gogol's ability affects the space around Dazai, and Dazai suffers the consequences of the laws of physics and will fall into the connected space accordingly (there's something similar that happens during the final battle in Storm Bringer relating to a shift in gravity)

The other part of this answer is that I think there's a 50/50 chance Fukuzawa's ability is absolute nonsense. Yes he was there in Dead Apple and therefore he should have one, but his ability is extremely convenient considering what he does and when it manifested. And sure it seems to have helped Atsushi and Kyouka, but did it really help anyone else? What did it do for them? And was it because of his ability, or because people explained things to them while the ADA gave them a stable home to grow?

But the other option is extremely funny too, and it's that Fukuzawa, through the stress of consistently lying to this kid about having an ability and then accidentally starting to gain more and more actually overpowered young people he has to care for and guide, manifested an ability that would do half the job for him. His ability seems tailored to his current position because it was most LITERALLY made to help with his specific situation. Being a dad does things to you.
