Another run in the bag, Week 3, Day 1 and it is no joke! But part of that may be because we ate and then do gym things very soon after. First half went alright and then the second half I had to take a full stop break for a minute for fear of puking 😩but all good. Then I decided to help kill me and my gym buddies further with the above workout I found on Pinterest- oh hey it worked lol. Then! May 20th: 30 minutes of running
I have an evening shift today so I made myself wake up at 6am and go for a run. Then I was at my parents' house at 8am and we watched the last episode of Game of Thrones. And then I went to the grocery store to pick up a few things and now it's a bit past 10am and I am back at my place.
Now I need to #adult and make an uncomfortable phone call and then eat and then go to work.

May 2nd: done! Fifteen minute run and 10 minutes stretching afterwards.
Today was a fun day out and about in Helsinki. But it also contained pizza and ice cream and this type of eating will continue on for a few more days because reasons. But then I'll get back to healthy eating. Promise.

This was my longest run since February 17th so that's how my life has been lately. Anycase, doing something is better than doing nothing and that's what I'm focusing on right now.

I don't usually bring an extra hat and a bag of chocolate eggs with me on a run but desperate times etc.
It's already Saturday night here so tomorrow morning is Easter and here it's an easter rooster that lays the eggs in people's hats during the night. So of course I needed to bring my hat to my parents' house to get chocolate eggs tomorrow morning. Also I had my own eggs to divide into their hats.
My part in helping the Easter rooster's job: done ✔

Operation Half Marathon PR is about to begin
So last May I ran my first half marathon in 2 hours 51 minutes and something. That weekend I also signed up for the same event in 2019. 
I have a book with a half marathon program where the easiest level is for a 2:20 goal time. If I could run the half in 2:20, that would be a 31 minute PR which doesn’t seem possible. But I hope following the program would help me run a PR this May, even if by 5 minutes - or 1 minute. 
It’s a 21 week program so this week is the first week. 
I’m sort of scared (is the program way too fast for me?) and excited (yay running and goals and hopefully reaching those goals). 
Also it’s already Thursday night and I need to run three runs this week so the first week is already going great. 
I’ll do my best. I’ll do my best. I’ll do my best.

I really like these new rules of mine. Because I realised that instead of trying to improve my speed or endurance I first should improve consistency. And that's what I've been doing for two weeks.
