I gagged the other day when I read a tweet that of course had thousands of likes that said "Coldplay are the friends I've always wanted for the tannies." Well, first of all, people who call bts tannies have to be the corniest motherfuckers on earth (the apple doesn't fall far from the tree, i guess), and second, what the hell are these people on? Who even are you to pick and choose who can be friends with? Are you their mommy? I think that phantom thread comparison is spot on lol

Sorry I just sent you another ask about bts and coldplay but I had to get this out of my chest: I hate bts and army for making me keep up with Coldplay and the Bonification of Chris Martin against my will. But truly, I wonder if this is the result of the vast majority of the fandom not keeping up with music in general and not knowing what is the music landscape outside BTS. Because Coldplay is corny af, all the songs they released in the last decade sound the same, similar concepts and video effects and the lyrics are nothing but generic generalizations about life and meaning of life, love, all that bullshit.
