Text x Context: Not in Kansas Anymore

There’s a running joke among the staff of Beneath the Tangles that C. S. Lewis’s Chronicles of Narnia is an isekai story. Of course, it isn’t what otaku typically mean when referring to a tale as isekai, but what makes the joke funny is the kernel of truth it contains. After all, the Narnia series is just one of many Western narratives that, like Japanese isekai, revolves around that foundational premise of someone from our world being transported to a fantasy realm.

With that in mind, we decided to dig a little deeper and explore the points of comparison (and contrast!) between otherworld adventure stories from the East and the West. As exemplars of typical isekai storytelling, we settled on Konosuba and Seirei Gensouki, complemented by two decidedly American isekai in the form of The Wonderful Wizard of Oz and A Wrinkle in Time.

There were times when I thought that I'd ever make this post. Times when I doubted that a story with an m/m romance would ever get picked up by a major publisher. But here we are ... 🥹

Melodie der Asche is the german title of my WIP Born to the Sea, and what you see up there, is the official cover. The real cover of the story, that started in 2019 here on Writeblr. I have tried the same tests with an Intuos 5 Pro tablet and my Cintiq 21 UX tablet. but for some reason Flips is not communicating with Wacom Tablet Express Keys or vice versa. so it seems like Flips configuration is ok, it works when I use the keyboard. but not when I press the Wacom Express Keys. Is it possible for Flips configurations get corrupted ? Should I just delete my current ones and start over ? But the odd thing is, the shortcut keys I assigned to Flips (F, G, H) work fine if I press them on the keyboard. except for shortcut keys that are assigned to Flips. But even so the Express Key works to activate the shortcut in TVPaint. With the text editor open with text cursor blinking in the text editor I press the Wacom Express Key buttons. You must keep the focus in it, meaning that the caret (text cursor) should be blinking. Instead you can set an identifier that matches the identifier you set in the Stream Deck software.Open a text editor (or any tool that takes text as input, even the browser url bar should do). When using BetterTouchTool in Plugin Mode, you can not specify the row / col directly.

If BTT is fully controlling the Stream Deck you can set the specific row and column in the item's configuration, otherwise you can tell BTT to place the item on a specific identifier defined in the Stream Deck app.īy default all buttons are visible on any connected Stream Deck device, however you can make them only display only on devices with specific serial numbers 3.) Fixed Identifier in Plugin Mode However BetterTouchTool also allows you to specify specific positions for items. You can use the "display order" property in the settings of every item to define a additional 2.) Fixed Position For these cases there are two additional options: 1.) Display Order In case you do have some more dynamic scenario, the order defined by the list in BTT might not be enough. If all rows are full, BTT automatically adds a new page and starts again on the top left of that page. It then continues by placing items in the next row - and so on. You can reorder that list by dragging the items around.īy default BetterTouchTool starts placing buttons / widgets from that list on the top left of the Stream Deck and then just continues until the row is full. The Stream Deck items in BTT are (like anything else in BTT) defined as a list. See next.īetterTouchTool Stream Deck Layout Concept In Plugin mode it is recommended to use fixed identifiers to correctly place the BTT items on your Stream Deck.

When pressing one of the buttons, the original Stream Deck software will talk to BetterTouchTool to execute the assigned actions. BetterTouchTool will then talk to the original Stream Deck software to render the buttons you configure.

In this mode you'll need to install a Stream Deck Plugin and place multiple copies of it in your configuration in the original Stream Deck software. For even more advanced automations (via Lua scripting) you should check it out at Mode 2: Stream Deck Plugin This mode is only possible due to the open source code from the awesome Hammerspoon app. In this mode you just configure everything in BetterTouchTool. BetterTouchTool directly talks to the Stream Deck devices. In this mode, you must not be running the original Stream Deck software. This is the preferred and most performant mode. Mode 1 (preferred): Fully Controlled by BetterTouchTool

Tyler has indeed moved on. He kind of finished up his dual roles with BtT—podcaster and small group leader—at the same time, right at the end of last year and beginning of this, as his life has become really full of other (wonderful!) things.

But he'll always be part of our family. In fact, he and I exchanged texts just last night. And who knows—God may bring him back to our ministry again in the future!

"It's ok, go back to sleep" you laid on his chest and he stroked your back until you fell back asleep .

Suga :

Yoongi rolled his eyes as he groaned the same way you did. You were making little noises in your sleep.

"Y/N" he poked your back .

"Stop it" You swatted his hand away .

"I'll stop it when you stop making noise, I want to sleep" .

"Babe" "Babe" "Babe!" Slowly waking up, you glared at Namjoon .

"You're very cute when you sleep but the noises you're making are being to annoy me" You frowned .

"I'm sorry, I wasn't aware of that" he kissed your forehead .

"It's alright, come here" you shifted closer to him, he enclosed you in his arms, gave you one more kiss before you slowly went back to sleep .

Jimin :

Jimin shook your shoulder, you groggily rubbed your eyes .

"What?" He chuckled .

"You were groaning in your sleep" .

"Was I bothering you?, sorry. No one ever told me I did that" He pulled your back to his chest and wrapped his arms tightly around your waist .

"Go back to sleep" .

V :

"Y/N, wake up" Taehyung ran his hands down your arms .

"Tae?" You looked at him, clearly irritated .

"Did you have a bad dream?, you were making a lot of sounds" .

"No I wasn't" he gave you a lazy smile and placed his hands on your face,before squished your cheeks together .

"You're so cute" and gently pushed your face into his chest "No more noises ok?" .

Jungkook :

Jungkook groan as he opened his eyes, you were making whimpering. He turned over, sluggishly enveloped you in his arms and placed his chin on your head .

"What are you doing?" You didn't even bother to open your eyes .

"Go back to sleep, I finally got you to stop groaning" .

"Shh, sleep" .
