Evidence that Krerdly will/could in fact become canon

So usually when I ship something Im like yea this is not going to be in the actual thing but I always see other people all like "PLEASE LET THIS BE IN THE ACTUAL THING" and I genuinely can't tell if they're joking or not like do we actually care that much are we stupid do we need mental help

Anyway here's my evidence as to why it will (could) be(come) canon because fuck you.

Berdly saying he has a crush on Susie is extremely unreliable, as he just kind of randomly decides he has one out of the blue and it's obvious she doesn't like him back and he's stupid very smart and terrible great at reading the room and therefore thinks she does anyway.

the following dialogue is after the queen battle:

(some trivia: dextrose refers to a type of sugar, I think our little boy was trying to sound clever with a big word and didn't use it right, or he meant to say "dexterous" which he would ALSO be using wrong btw, as it means "clever" and right now he wants to be stupid which makes him calling them clever out of character. )

There's his first lot of dialogue. Then interact with him again and he says this shit

His reasoning?

There's a lot to unpack here.

Berdly tells Kris he must turn them down because he thinks he likes Susie and is under the assumption that she likes him back. Nowhere is it implied that he is not actually interested in Kris; it is only indicated that right at this moment Berdly's sights are set on Susie because there are things about her that he really admires, and so his interest is set on her. Notice how he refers to his life as a VN. That means visual novel. He sees himself as a man amongst a variety of love interests, and believes he can only choose one, as is the case with a typical visual novel, which indicates that Berdly thinks he is monogamous (I say "thinks" due to the popular theory that he might not truly desire romance at all and just claims to since that is what he currently equates any form of intimacy to). Among the people he has marked as love interests are Susie and Kris, and so therefore he is not necessarily uninterested in Kris. He sees them as a potential match, but they are not the one he's focused on.

He says Kris is being insistent about something. While this could be him misinterpreting them showing concern for him for romantic affection, as he does have this weird fixation on romance, this line of dialogue is actually really weird for a variety of reasons if we really look at it.

He says that Kris is being "insistent" on something, and that he "must turn them down." While it is easy to assume interacting with him caused Berdly to think that showing him additional concern by talking to him means you like him romantically, you must also consider the fact that throughout the game Kris is implied to say things on their own, but we ourselves never actually get to see what they are saying. Take for example here:

I'm certain this is the case with non cutscene moments, too, where you interact with NPCs and stuff. I can only really think off the top of my head to how even when u interact with one of the swords in ur inventory Noelle tells you to stop hitting you with it, and also there are times where Kris is moving on their own despite the soul not having wandered off like in the offscreen Ralsei dialogues, plus there's Kris removing their soul sometimes which always follows us controlling them... essentially they DO still have some control over themselves even when we are controlling THEM and they can still talk on their own, which I don't see how that doesn't include interacting with NPCs outside of battle or cutscenes. I just am too lazy to open the game up again and scour it for more NPC's responding to something we didn't hear Kris say, so instead I gave you an elaborate explanation of how Kris works and it works just as well so fuck you. But feel free to look for examples of NPC's outside of battle or cutscenes responding to something Kris probably said anyway and rb this with your findings that would be great.

Back to Berdly turning Kris down. Both of Berdly's dialogues are in response to something. This second line in particular looks really suspect, and makes me believe Kris may have actually done something overt in order to cause Berdly's focus to shift towards romance, and the reason Ralsei never says anything about it is so we don't notice that our character acted on their own- as he is definitely judging them for saying that LOL. I just don't see how it makes sense for him to just say that unprompted (granted, he is a weirdo, but in a cute innocent sort of way, and not the perverted incel freak some fans make him out to be but); it just feels to overtly a reply to something said to him than it does to him SIMPLY being interacted with.

Counterargument for this second point now: it's very possible that when we interact with Berdly, Kris did something to just comfort him, like put their hand on his shoulder or something like that, and them doing it more than once causes Berdly to mistaken the gesture for a romantic advance, and I was just over analyzing it because I ship them and I relate to Berdly which means I'm a nerdy idiot genius just like him. This still does not negate point number one, though.

3. Berdly is not disgusted by the prospect of romance with Kris. His reasoning for turning them down is because he's focused on Susie; nowhere is it said that it is due to their gender or appearance or anything like that at all. I assumed he was doing some hetero-normative thing with how Noelle and Susie are both girls and he's a boy but Kris lacking a gender and him not being like "eww no" to them indicates to me that he wouldn't necessarily mind something queer going on.

I want to look at the visual novel thing some more because I've honest to god never seen anyone else talk about it.

I think that he sees Kris, Susie and Noelle as potential partners. He's not interested in Noelle himself and says that he only pretends to be because he thinks she is. It's obvious he thinks that if he were to not, she might leave him, as this romantic interest he thinks she has in him is what he believes is the reason why she even tolerates him in the first place. Were she to ask him out (she wouldn't; this is from his perspective), Berdly undoubtedly would say yes, even if it isn't really what he wants, because what he really wants is to keep her around since he literally relies on her for his studies. He confesses to not liking her in chapter 2 because he wants her to know that his sights are set on Susie and doesn't want that to break her heart.

Susie is a new one, as he suddenly finds himself admiring her and confuses this admiration for her for romantic affection. He is undoubtedly going to continue trying to pursue her until he is inevitably not only shut down but learns about her and Noelle.

Lastly, there's Kris, who, besides Noelle, is one of Berdly's only friends. While he is their rival, he does show a lot of affection for them throughout the game, even back in chapter 1. In the library he tells Kris that he was worried about them.

He also offers them a random discount on the overdue book just really randomly, which is so sweet of him honestly. There is a layer of pretentiousness, smugness, and condescending-ness throughout his dialogue in the library, which is just him trying to prove himself better than Kris.

It is implied/shown that he sees a lot of potential in them. He refers to Kris as the third smartest student in class, which, despite seeming like an insult at first, is still a bit of a compliment in its own way. Talking down to Kris is sort of a defense mechanism for him. I think this is displayed really well in the scene below:

He does, however, really care about Kris at the end of the day and it's clear he values them. I really want to bring up the scene where you give him the present. First, he doesn't even EXPECT you to be gifting him, and walks into the scene assuming you're not on his side, taking it personally when he sees you with Susie. Then, when you do give him the present, he's initially shocked, then genuinely really happy and appreciative of it, to the point that he kind of almost drops the snarky attitude. I also really want to note that he doesn't even say thank you. Like he doesn't even know how to react. Poor guy.

Throughout chapter 2, we see that the two of them have played video games together, that Berdly trusts Kris enough to want to do puzzles with them while he's struggling to do them alone in the mansion, and so yeah, it can be concluded that despite Berdly's attempts to push Kris away and prove himself as their superior, he does genuinely care about them a lot.

So, Krerdly.

Krerdly.

The only thing getting in the way right now is that Berdly is focused on Susie. Though he might think what happened was a dream in the pacifist route, he probably is going to be fixated on her both there and in the neutral route due to now assuming he has a crush on her and her liking him back; he doesn't realize that he's mistaking his admiration for and desire to get closer to her for a crush. What will kill this for him is when he finally gets to see her with Noelle and realizes neither of them liked him romantically. He'd probably then turn to Kris and ask them if they liked him, since they're the one other person on that list of love interests I just did. And regardless of whether or not you say yes, he'd still be left thinking about them a little bit, and start to seek intimacy with them since Susie and Noelle are now fixated on eachother, and Berdly thinks he needs romance so he's looking towards someone who could potentially bring him that as well: his close friend who is still single.

And then you can date him and yay Krerdly real.

That's my theory.

So I'm not even a year into being into BTS. I'm toddler army, I think since April? This video of the Sirius performance of Butter came up on my tiktok randomly and I Just Wanted To Know Their Names and now I'm here.

Here's the thing: I'm a big girl and I've been uncomfortable in my skin and clothes for a long time. I'm also gay and that comes with a lot of style related baggage too. Don't dress too masculine, everyone will think you're a man-hating lesbian. You're wearing a dress, you don't SEEM gay.

It made me hate my style. Trying to dress to hide my figure but not look too baggy. Trying to be feminine but not too feminine, trying not to wear anything too masc, trying to be stylish, trying a lot of things that never worked for me. I have no gender dysphoria but I never felt happy in my clothes.

Then I saw a literal idol wearing baggy jeans and tee and looking so stylish with it and a switch flipped. Maybe a slender South Korean man isn't where I'd imagine finding inspiration as a British bisexualish plus size lesbian but I suddenly felt like a style was accessible to me. The jewellery, the effortless slouch... I tried it out and it sounds dramatic but it was like a fashion euphoria. I liked how I looked for maybe the first time ever. My tummy hidden but I still looked good and like I'd made an effort.

His promotion of queer artists, films and music, genderless expression and demonstrated support for queer community, will always be important in helping me feel seen and valued regardless of whether his participation is as a queer man or as an ally.

And he has made me more accepting of my own neurodivergence. I'm a mum to a six year old. I do the school run and cook and pay my mortgage with my boring communications job and I'm really into BTS. It's a bit of an eyebrow raise for a lot of people. I'm not into diagnosing strangers but Tae's relentless ability to be himself, no matter how weird the rest of the world thinks he is, and being a hugely popular idol when the world tells you you can't be a bit of a free-thinker and successful at the same time... That's important!

So yeah. The other guys have qualities that comfort me too but Taehyung has had a profound impact on things that needed fixing in my brain.

I have recently come to the conclusion that if my Genshin Impact account was self aware, my Bennet would be slightly even more unlucky than a regular Bennet. This is due to my birthday and since its coming up I've been brainrotting for the past few days. Let me explain:

Bennet's birthday is February 29th, aka Leap Year. This means Benny only has a real birthday once every four years, which is bad enough. But according to canonical game lore, when he doesn't have his actual birthday, he celebrates it on the 28th.

My birthday is February 28th.

Now, I'd like to think that in your typical SAGAU the creator's birthday is a BIG DEAL. I'm talking festivals, parades, feasts, gifts exchanged between friends and family as well as gifts offered to the creator! The whole nine yards! An entire world partying from sunrise to moonset.

So with this in mind, Bennet's birthday would either be celebrated the day after the biggest holiday party in Teyvat (meaning everyone who attends would be all partied out) or during my birthday (meaning that everyone would be focused on ME instead of Bennet, which is just unfair! He can't even take pride in being born the same day as the creator b/c he was born the day after!!!!).

Anyway, if I was isekai'd to Genshin and worshipped as a god, I would simply give Bennet his own holiday. Poor kiddo deserves a win and if it takes me telling my acolytes quote, "Everyone will to celebrate Bennet's holiday. No exceptions, no excuses. And if his holiday party doesn't end up a success, I will destroy all of Teyvat and then myself. :3c" then so be it. That last statement is a joke, but watching everyone try their absolute hardest to give my adopted little brother the best birthday possible would be worth the fear of the vague threat of the world's destruction in the eyes of my worshipers me thinks.

If you add to this brainrot, please feel free to ignore that last part if everyone panicking over the possibility of apocalyptic destruction makes you uncomfortable. Likewise, don't rush this out by my birthday if you don't have time. I'm also in college and have multiple assignments due both before and after my birthday so I know this upcoming week will be hellish in terms of academics. So don't push yourself, okay?

ooooh the dreaded question. i can get really passionate about this (i care too much) so i'm going to be as brief and simple as i can. i'm aware many people enjoy the comics and that's fine. /gen you do you. like i said; i care too much

IMPORTANT DISCLAIMER: we have no clue how much time or dedication was given to the comics by valve; the poor writing isn't necessarily the fault of the writers and i have no personal beef with them! with that said, old man yells at cloud /ref under read more/keep reading.

the two main gripes i have with the comics are lack of planning and tone problems.

as i already said, the lack of planning- and therefore the poor writing- does not mean the comic team was incompetent (the art is quite good a lot of the time, actually), but this does mean it severely hurts the quality of the comics themselves. it's clear they aren't sure where they're taking this (as evident by whatever the fuck is going on with helen) and what the story is even supposed to mean. the tone goes hand in hand with the poor planning; the comics aren't sure whether they want to be purely comical and action-focused or a DARK comedy; having serious moments and themes in the story.

in the end, the serious moments come off as either manipulative (iykyk. i am not getting angry about this for 40 minutes again) or as if they're being made fun of (cough cough sniper).

they also struggle to really build up those moments, so sometimes it feels as if they just came out of nowhere. it's really jarring.

there's also just. not a lot of conflict between the main cast?? there isn't a lot of pressure put on pauling from the mercs via questioning her actions, etc. (we only slightly get this from spy. but like once) (i get that it's to show how much trust they have in her but, really? not a single thing?) (this could build up to like. a "grand betrayal" sort of thing but yknow. they didnt think about the build up to anything)

this is why i think making it JUST the RED team really hurts the story- they already have set dynamics and don't need to develop or sort through any conflicts they have with one another. medic only has conflict with sniper of all people. MEDIC. who went to join another team which was actively hunting his previous one.

the comics introduce conflict and new dynamics by straight up making up new characters?? as much as i love zhanna- she was primarily put into the story just to be soldier's love interest and have a fun dynamic with him.... i'm so sorry miss.

they could've done that with demo btw?? since demo and soldier are supposed to be friends?? unless actually the team differences DO matter (which the comics do not make clear at all, engie is randomly blue while the rest are red. okay. why? wouldn't you like to know.) so red soldier and red demo dont bounce off of eachother as much as blu soldier and red demo do.

i'm not formatting this at all but remember the poor planning? ahem. sniper timeline. why did you make him barely 30. i will fucking kill you he was always clearly meant to be, look, and sound like an old man. its in his concept art its in how he talks. raghghgh

they keep giving themselves problems by adding new characters cause then the main fucking mercs who people adore get no time for themselves (demo, pyro, scout, engie) they're just kinda......there. it sucks. but it's what we got, i guess. just how canon the comics are is questionable- but i don't care if they are.

I've been travelling for… so long I lost count. Searching, looking, everywhere.

My hands are bloody. My emotions are all but gone. I don't even bother anymore. Not with trying to meet the new versions, with seeing them die.

I tried, I think. Once, long ago, when all of this started. I wanted to move on, to continue with my life, fix the mistakes I couldn't fix before.

But this is the last jump I'll ever take. I'll resign. Find an empty planet and live there the rest of my days. Or end it all before that. I just know that I can't stay in this universe a moment longer.

I close my eyes, remembering him. The reason I jumped in the first place. He told me to. He said, promised, that we'd find eachother again. That he'd love me in every universe.

I laugh at that last one. There's still a scar on my stomach from one of the meetings we had. One that Sam never had Cora. That he still loved Lillian.

I'm broken now. My only guiding light is, was, to find him randomly across the universes. The Unity said he would eventually jump in, he'd come looking for me.

It's been millennia, and I'm no longer sure.

So, one more jump. One last try.

The lights are blinding, and the sights were once mesmerising. They lost their beauty for me so long ago.

I make my way back to New Atlantis. One last time.

There's something hauntingly familiar as I walk through the spaceport to the Lodge. Something that tells me I've been here before. I've been to this version.

I step into the Lodge, waiting to meet Sarah, have her asking me about the artifacts. I prepare myself for Walter snark comments and Matteo's awe.

But that's not what I see.

The first thing I see is a familiar cowboy hat. Sam.

I hold back from jumping at him, no matter how much I want to and it breaks what's left of my heart that I can't. It didn't end up well before.

I watch, patiently, as he turns to face me, removing his hat.

Sam looks older. There are strands of silver on his hair and beard, and wrinkles forming around his eyes. But it's still him.

He's smiling. Arms open and inviting.

I cross my arms, fighting even more the urge to go to him. It's not my Sam. Not the one of my original universe. That I fell in love with. It's another version. Right?

I can't be back. After all this time, to be sent back feels like the Unity is rubbing it off on my face.

“Haven't seen you in a while, love.” Sam says, stepping closer to me. “You're still as beautiful as the day I lost you.”

He touches my face, and I allow him. It's been so long since I felt any kind of warmth, that this feels like it's scorching my skin and I want more.

“Please, don't tease me like this.” I say, remembering the universes I've told him.

“I'm not.” He says, placing a hand on his holster, taking out the pistol there. “This is for you. Saved my ass more than I could count. Time to give it back.”

It's my pistol. I couldn't bring myself to use one like it since the first time I went through. Couldn't keep them.

“It's yours now.” I push his hand back, so he can put it away. “I can't take it away from you.”

His smile dies. It's almost like he sees that I'm not the person who walked through Unity.

“Why would I need it? It was a reminder of you.” He asks, stepping back. “I finally got you back. And I'm not letting you go again.”

Again.

If there was ever any doubt that I'm back, it fades away. I'm home.

I can't resist anymore. Falling into his arms, I allow myself to feel again. I cry, holding on to him.

“How long?” I gather the courage to ask, unsure if I want too know.

“A little over ten years.” There's sorrow as he answers me, running a hand on my back.

I missed so much. Cora is all grown up now. Probably off to college.

And I can rest. Hoping that is not just another bad joke from the Unity. They did it so much by now, with universes where he was already dead, or happy in a different life. Those were the worst for me.

Not really thinking, I kiss him. It's a heavy kiss, where we both show how we missed eachother.

I can't believe we're finally back together. After all this time.

“So,” I lean back, looking into his lovely blue eyes, “what did I miss?”

What’s dimentio’s love language

Hmm, I think I will explain it in two categories because he can either start being very annoying, as he would try to get the person's attention in non conventional ways, (like the thing with Mimi's diary for example) or he would be so quiet that it would be weird.

In the annoying category:

He likes to mess with the person, making them embarrassed or mad at him just because he thinks they're cute like that, basically he will compliment and also make fun of you, it's kinda confusing, but after some time his intentions will start being a little obvious, and bonus points if the person tries to hit him, because 1- he won't let it happen and 2- he loves adrenaline

he would steal their things and play dumb or steal things for them and not elaborate on how he got the thing (as I said in another ask),

he is a bit weird at touching people, like holding hands or hugging, but when he does that he's probably making up reasons to do so, like being invisible and hugging you from behind to scare you or grabbing a hand just to play with it, and he doesn't like being touched so much so he can both avoid you (which is something from the "weirdly quiet category") and insist in poking you every now and then

In the weirdly quiet category:

Randomly getting flowers to put in the person's hair, pockets, glasses, etc and not saying a thing

Ominously staring at them from afar

Literally avoiding them all day and appearing just to say "lovely to see you here" :)

Give random gifts but now without even being direct (you go to your room and there's a plushie or some other thing in your bed, for example)

And sitting by their side just to be in complete silence

Bonus because I'm loving to think about all that:

I imagine that Dimentio likes to dance so he'll probably invite the person to do it at some point, and he'll 100% be up to teach if they don't know how to dance

ATEEZ AS DRIVERS 

Seonghwa - typically a good driver, follows the road rules like a good civilian he is. But when he gets honked at (for no reason if i may add) or he sees cars speeding and taunting him, oh you better hold on to your seatbelt. Don’t bother asking if he’s okay because clearly he is not and he will drift his way until those cars are off his radar. Once he's not gripping the wheel so hard and his eyes turn back to their usual boba shapes then you can talk to him. He’d even flash that blinding smile at you as if he wasn't speeding just moment ago. “Sorry sweetheart, you were saying something?”

Hongjoong - sorry but he will not drive and will be at the back seat with you jk. I mean why drive when you can have someone do it for you (has a chauffeur btw). The reason he prefers not too most of the time is because that's the only time he's completely free and rather talk and gush over you. But then he would randomly knock on your door late at night and invite you to go for a drive throughout the city or stargaze in an empty parking lot. You’d stare at him most of the time as he drove with ease and hummed to the tune playing on the radio as he ran his fingers through his hair. He would notice the obvious stares and you’d compliment and his ears would blush as he denied it as always. “Doll don’t distract me. I'm driving.”

Yunho - perfect driver, the end. The type to entertain you throughout the ride no matter if the destination is fifteen minutes or three hours. He’d even pack drinks and snacks which you are in charge of feeding him as he opens his mouth like a baby bird. You won’t get sleepy even if you didn’t get a wink of sleep the night before, he’s just that entertaining. Drives at a steady mode, won’t forget to take glances over at you making sure you’re alright and is comfy in his car. But if you did fall asleep after bickering, karaoke-ing with him, Yunho would slow down a bit just to get the fleece blanket he spared at the back seat and cover you up with it. “My baby’s fast asleep…so cute.”

Yeosang: is a nervous mess. Says he’s a good driver but he’d accidentally hit the brakes too soon and apologised when he saw you jerk to the front. Even if you assured that he can drive slow and all, he just wants you to see the best side of him, always. After a few dates, he’d be very chill and would come up with a conversation with you while he drives. He likes to take things slow and that’s how he drives too but not super slow, just good enough for you to read all the signboards of the shops around town. “Jagi, I saw your favourite restaurant just now. Should we turn back?”

San - usually a pretty safe driver…until you’re in the passenger’s seat. Gets very handy and will most likely rest his free hand on your thigh or pinch your cheek when there’s a red light. You’d scold him to focus on the road instead of you which made him pouty. It doesn’t last long though, he’ll just want to hold your hand or tug you over to him and peck your cheek. Is a safe driver until his lover is right next to him and he would risk it all. Overall, he will bother you whether you like it or not just because. “Love, stop playing with your phone. I’m right here, hold my hand please.” 

Mingi - one thing about mingi is compliments. His brain malfunctioned at those. He’s usually focused while he drives but the moment you say something about his outfit that day or how he styled his hair differently than usual, he lost (nearly) all driving senses. Gets flustered and would chuckle nervously as to hide his embarrassment. But other times, he’d suddenly get cocky and would raise a brow at you with a confident smirk and add fuel to your words by pulling the sleeves of his sweater up or fixing the glasses that were dropping on his nose bridge. “If you keep saying all that princess, I’m afraid I’ll have to cancel our dinner reservation.” 

Wooyoung - he is known to be talkative in any kind of events or functions but isn’t that way when he’s driving. It is kind of weird to see him quiet and so focused on the road, not even singing along to the songs that were on from his own playlist. Not a fan of speeding but he would do it when he sees you about to doze off and laugh when the side of your head hit the window. of course he apologised and made sure you’re fine. He talks when he feels kind of sleepy or there’s a massive traffic jam ahead and that's when you have to entertain him or else he will bother the hell out of you. But if you fell asleep, he’d make sure you’re comfy and even tell you to recline if you need to as he quietly sings to the music lightly playing in the car. “Babe, it’s raining and I'm getting sleepy. Talk to me.”

Jongho - is usually good at multitasking but that mode is turned off once he’s in the driver’s seat. It gets really quiet too and the only sound is the occasional clincking sound from the signal light or the low noises from the air conditioner. A very serious driver and won’t talk unless you ask him something. Then it goes back to being quiet. However, when he’s not feeling too timid or that he notices how you’re exceptionally quiet, he’d start singing…very loudly. It won’t stop until you join in or ask him to sing another song. “We should get those bluetooth microphones honey, that way we can sing when there's traffic. ”

now for unsolicited wisdom teeth advice!

for me, it just...sucked for a while. However! Icing it every 20-30 minutes for the first day or two definitely helped with the pain. I also slept propped up because laying on my side or all the way flat made my whole head hurt for some reason

make sure to take breaks icing it! Also, don't ice it past day 2.

Take your medications! I only used the hardcore pain meds for maybe day 1 and 2 and then switched to only taking it at night but taking a shit ton of ibuprofen during the day--that's just personal preference though because the pain meds made me feel too drowsy (100% listen to the surgeon's advice on this though!)

do not use a fucking straw for at least a week. DO NOT USE A STRAW. I'm sure they told you this but seriously....don't do it. Even when you start to feel better in a few days don't do it, give your mouth time to heal over! Listen to the instructions on this for sure!! I'm a bit anal with this stuff so I actually avoided a straw for a month lmao but whatever timeline they give you, stick to that, minimum

Don't forget to brush your teeth. It will hurt the first few days but you have to keep your mouth clean!

And last but not least unless I randomly remember something: hydrate, hydrate, hydrate. You won't be eating much for a few days so water is your new best friend to stay alive. Also it'll help with healing. Get a big ass cup and refill it often, trust me on this

I am always ignored. So this time around, I was really irritated with my aunt and some of her family that came over ( she's my adoptive aunt, btw.) So I instantly thought, I really wish I had Frankie or one of the Pedro boys here to comfort me, etc. So I started this series. 💞 As I say in the last paragraph in this, I'll explain what I changed, etc for the story a bit in my second AN.

I don't remember if there is an actual name for his kid in the movie.. Soooo we are naming her Nola.

Around three months of you guys being together you guys decided randomly that you both were ready to tell each other the reasons you moved to Memphis.

It just came up out of the blue one day, but both of you trust each other unconditionally and feel safe sharing that kind of stuff about yourselves.

You go first.

Frankie listens so patiently. You still don't understand how he does it with how bad you ramble, but that makes you love him even more.

He asks questions here and there. Gets defensive at times also. Just like you, he doesn't understand why family members have to be such assholes.

But in the end he is so understanding of everything. Why you think its annoying people when you ramble. He thinks it's endlessly adorable. Why you are very shy around anyone, especially the boys. Which you're getting better at feeling more comfortable. Frankie told them why one day while he was out with them, you're ok with it, because you know he'll always protect you and the boys would never do anything to hurt you. Among other things. He always takes his time with you in any aspect of anything, makes sure you're doing ok, etc.

Frankie's turn

You are kinda shocked.

He had told you about his daughter, Nola like the second week of dating because he had to go out of town to visit her.

But the addiction shocked you, only because he is such a sweetheart and you would never had thought he had one in the past.

You absolutely don't look at him different. He's still your sweet goofy Frankie.

He was so so nervous while he was telling you and more so after he finished. Because you had a neutral facial expression and you took a little while to answer him..

But of course you reassured him that he was safe and always will be safe with you. That he can talk to you about anything that bothers him and when he is having urgers to relapse.

You and Frankie have been together for about six months now. You're practically living at his house now. The job at the vintage store is going amazing, you're already manager. Best thing you ever did was move to Memphis. It's been absolutely fantastic and everything. Still have to make plans to go to Graceland though, cost a lot so got to save up ; but you aren't in a rush to get there.

One day you get an a Facebook invitation to an event. It's for your aunt's birthday. Yours is 10 days before hers, but ya know she has to be the most important thing during the month, so yours always gets over looked unless it's a big number. So youve always held a grudge against her for that, always kept to yourself because you don't want to cause a fight.

You're sitting on the couch reading what it is. You instantly groan in irritation while pinching the bridge of your nose.

" mi cielito, is everything ok? " Frankie says as he's walking into the living room with your snacks and drinks for the movie night you're having.

It has became a tradition for you two. Every Friday you have a movie night. Get all the goodies and pick out a few movies for the night.

Tonight it is Over the Top, Dirty Dancing, Top gun.

" yeah I guess. Just family crap.. Let's watch the movies, I don't wanna talk about it. " you say with a smile that isn't very reassuring, Frankie can instantly tell something is up and it's bothering you.

" you know you can always talk to me mi amor. Always gonna be safe with me. Will have to be a lotttt to me to run away screaming. " he says with that precious smile that melts your heart because he is saying hes here for you always just with his facial expression. And while he's caressing your legs that you draped over his lap once he sat down, then leans over and kisses your cheek and forehead, then sneaks a little peck to your lips.

" you're so lucky I love you. " You say while smiling that smile that is only held for Frankie. Then you playfully hit him with a pillow.

You show him your phone. He let's out a little huff because he knows how much your family irritates you. You tell him all about her because she hasn't ever came up in your discussions about family.. He is flabbergasted that she acts like such a child and she's twice your age. Most definitely is on your side and dislikes her just as much as you do.

" no way I'm letting you go to that by yourself. I'm coming with you. Itll be fun to see your hometown. " he says with such a warm smile then it fades into a teasing one in the second part. Because ya know he's a brat.

You just look at him in shock... He almost gets worried because you haven't said anything but then you leap forward and kiss and hug him.

" what is this for, hermosa? " he says while cuddling up closer to you as you crawl into his lap to be even closer.

I just.. I love you so much. I seriously don't know what the hell I did to deserve you. You are always so sweet and amazing to me. Sometimes I feel like I'm in a dream because it feels so beautiful and I don't even know a word, just so perfect. " you say while tearing up a bit because it's just so crazy but magical that you have Frankie.

He pulls you closer and kisses your tears away then says; " I feel the same way all the time. You're way out of my league, soooo damn gorgeous, wayyyy to good to me. But you're stuck with me cariño, as long as you'll have me. "

You guys make plans to go; get work off, you decide to take your car since we know it can make the trip already, get all the things you need packed, book a hotel, get your aunt a present. ( even though she doesn't deserve one)

It's finally time to go.

You're pretty excited for the trip. It's your first long trip with Frankie so you're excited for more fun and goofy stuff on the way. Maybe some spicy stuff since it's a twenty hour drive. 😏

But there is a good amount of nervousness. You're worried your family won't like Frankie or approve of him. Since he is twenty-four years older then you. There is a little bit of hope they won't be too flabbergasted by it, you have always liked and had crushes on older men; so maybe you won't have to worry about it...

Then there is this thing... You haven't told any family about him.. Youve mentioned you're seeing someone, just no details or pictures. The reason so is, because ya just know someone is gonna have an opinion about the age gap or that you jumped into a relationship so quickly after moving to Memphis, there is endlessly possibilities. Sooo you just kept it to yourself so nothing can ruin the amazingness.

You get to town finally. The nerves are in full swing now. It ended up being your turn to drive when it got to last bit. Which is ok since its your home town. And... It's an excuse to see Frankie sleeping.

He is the most adorable sleeper. Since he was in the military, he is able to sleep anywhere; since the sleeping places were always so uncomfortable. So in other words he passes out completely anywhere and in any position.

Your favorite ones, always have to take a picture to save the moment. You make a mental note that at some point you want to make a collage of them.

Of course this time it's a picture perfect one. Still buckled up. ( gotta stay safe of course) He has the seat leaned all the way back. Stole your comfort travel pillow without you even realizing it and is cuddling with it. Little did you know he grabbed it to sleep with because it smells like you which brings him comfort, and it is sooooo comfy and floofy. And his hat is pushed down all the way to his nose to hide away the sun. But now it's pushed up all goofy like because he's cuddled deeper into your pillow.

You pull over on the side of the highway right out of town to wake him up so he can have the full experience, lol.

You take the picture with the biggest smile on your face from seeing him look so adorable. Your heart always swells 1000x bigger because you love him more then words and can never get over how nice and sweet he is to you.

Then you lean over to take off his hat. Smoothly and sweetly caresse his hair out of his face. Give some sweet delicate kisses to slowly wake him up. When youre done giving him kisses you lightly rock him to wake him up while saying; " sweetie we are here outside of town. Do you want to wake up so you can see? "

He cuddles into your touch while lovingly humming at your warm comforting touch. " hmmm. Sure, hermosa. He yawns and stretches some. That was the best nap I've ever had in a car before. " he says while chuckling and fulling sitting up.

After he is sat up and back to a comfortable position in the seat he leans over and gives you a kiss. It's sweet and delicate at first then turns a little steamy.

He hums at how your lips feel and how they always feel like heaven, even after being with you for six months he still isn't used to them.

Then he slowly moves his hand to your neck to craddle your neck and lower cheek. You instantly put one hand in his curls ( can never get enough of them). And the other hand goes to his torso and caresse all over. You of course let him in when he ask to enter your mouth. Instantly releasing a mixture of a moan and whimper at how amazing and skilled he is with his tongue. Never get tired of that, he's such an evil god at using it.

That goes on for about five minutes or longer, it feels like forever. It always does because you both are alwaysss so focused on each other and in love.

" ok as much as I want to keep doing this, especially after the long drive.. We really need to get settled in at the hotel. Then we can go explore wherever you want my love. " you say slightly out of breath. As you say the exploring part you playfully pinch his nose and smile a bit. Because you know he's dying to see your hometown.

You run through the basics of showing him around. He asks questions here and there. After you're done you ask him if he wants to see anywhere in particular. Thinks for a second then adorably says your favorite get away when you needed to do so. You get choked up a little bit at that, because it is one of the things you love about Frankie, he always asks such deep but meaningful questions that make you fall for him even more. You agree to show him.

" now don't make fun of me because of the odd randomness of it. " You tell him as you're pulling up to a cemetery. You nervously giggle while saying it.

" mi cielito, is this where you kill me?? " he says in a joking worrisome voice while dramatically ( but adorably) clutching his heart.

" oh totally, sweetness. I got a spot and everything for ya. " you say while wiggling your eye brows all goofy and then winking.

After that you both burst into a laughing fit. Yeah it's an odd place but it makes sense after you tell him why.

" I've always loved being in nature and have been fascinating about cemetery things. Like the badass headstones people get, the different resting places you can choose to be laid, the creepy but cool ways Hollywood showed them. All kinds of things. One day I went to visit a family friend at this cemetery, I hadn't seen his headstone in person yet. When I was walking away I noticed how crappy the grass looked, two metal ones sinking into the ground, and how many things just looked sad. So I decided to see what was required to become a groundskeeper here and I did all the requirements, and became one when I was 18. There is something so soothing about doing grounds work and taking care of these people, so I always felt at peace here. Even before I started working here, I always came to walk around saying hellos to all the groups I passed and when I had the time I would always go and get flowers for everyone in the cemetery. Because ya never know who doesn't get visitors, so I always wanted to be nice and give them something sweet, I still did it even working there. You probably think I'm crazy but it's true I always feel so peaceful here no matter what... " you tell him after you have parked at the groundskeeper house.

He just sits there listening to you so intently and lovingly. You think you've just word vomited the most you've ever done to him, and think he's gonna be weirded out. Little did you know he thought it was the sweetest thing ever and loved you had something so unique for yourself to have a safe place.

He grabes your hands from your lap where you're nervously fiddling with them and says; I don't think you're crazy at all, cariño. Yes it's different but it is beautiful in its own way. You helped the place look more colorful and comforting. I bet if we could talk to the residents here they would say such wonderful things about you mi amor. " he then leans over to give you a reassuring kiss on the cheeks, nose, and then your lips.

You smile into the kiss and let a tear run down your cheek from feeling so loved and everything from this angel of a man..

It's time to go the party.

As you walk into the house, its already a little crowed. You forgot how much crap your aunt has in her house, plus her family.. Will always blow your mind how they live there. No one really pays mind to you because the family that sees you first are ones that don't really care about anything or saying hi like a polite person..

As soon as you get to the kitchen you can hear your aunt talking a mile a minute about her new obsession, you don't even care enough to listen what is. You go say hi to her and your mom, and introduce Frankie to them.

They both have a shocked look on their faces. You already know what they are thinking which causes you to tense up. Which Frankie sees and comes to hug you and ground you so you won't loose it this early.

" Y/N sweetie! I've missed youuu!! I didn't expect you to bring your boyfriend. But I'm happy to meet him. " your aunt says in a very fake excited voice. Which causes you to Internerly scream at her. 😤

The party is going as normal as they always do when it comes to parties in your family. You tucked away in a corner, practically invisible to everyone. At least Frankie is here to keep you company and help it not be as bad.

You think to yourself as you're looking up at Frankie, because he's holding you all protective like; " I am so thankful to have you, idk what I would have done here if you weren't with me. My handsome savior. " you smile and then cuddle into Frankie some more because he's the best cuddler ever and you always feel so soo safe wrapped up in his arms.

" what are you thinking about mi amor? " he says with that sweet like honey comforting voice while kissing the top of your head and nuzzling your neck, then leaves a few kisses there.

You tell him what you were thinking about. He smiles and has that look in his eyes that says he loves you endlessly and he's always gonna be here for you no matter what. You lean up and give him a kiss, a kiss that says thank you infinitely and I love you endlessly.

Some more time passes, it's time to eat. You and Frankie get up to get food. He is behind you hugging you while you make your plates. Giving you kisses along your neck all cute like and soothingly caressing you where his hands lay.

You go and sit down to eat. But you hear someone say something in a whisper; " he's so much older then her.. Why did she bring him? There has to be something fishy going on there. I just know it. " it's your aunt talking to her husband your uncle.

Frankie looks at you. Sure enough you have that broken look on your face. The one that he knows is caused by something that hurts you deep. So he reassuringly rubbs your back and then takes your hand and says;

" I know this is the first time we are meeting, probably will be the last after I say what Im about to. Why does it matter our age gap? We are infinitely happy, we both are adults. Can't you just be happy for your niece for once? And for your information, I came with her so this lame fucking party would at least be a little bearable. Unlike every other party she's told me about, that she's always in the corner pretty much being ignored. You all are real assholes to Y/N, she doesn't deserve what you guys put her through. And I'm gonna always try to prove and show her that real family doesn't do this shit.

Let's go hermosa. "

He ofers his hand for you to take so you guys can leave. You don't even say anything, you're in shock but have so much love and adoration for him right now for standing up for you like that. Because you could never be that brave.

Your aunt on the other hand... She's utterly shocked.. You don't stay around to see what she has to say. You guys make it out of the house before she's able to say anything.

Frankie is still fuming when you get to the car. You're in shock but surprisingly ok. Because somehow that happening lifted such a weight off of your shoulders.

He looks over to you and grabs your hand and says; " Y/N, baby. I'm so sorry I did that.. I just couldn't take hearing her say that after you telling me everything they've put you through.. I hope your not made at me. " as he finishes the last sentence he stutters a little bit from holding back from crying because he starts to think that you'll he mad at him and will break up with him. Pretty much all things bad, he's thinking them in that short time.

" oh my goodness sweetie. No no you didn't do anything wrong and I'm not mad at you one bit. I'm very impressed and love you even more. You know why my love? He looks at you with such a worried face, but it's going away slowly. He sniffles a little and says what? in such a small whisper. Fuck them. I've been wanting to do that for years but I've been to scared that the family I am on somewhat good terms with will hate me for it. So in other words.. Thank you for being my protector, my savior, my angel, my everything. I love you x infinity and beyond Fransisco Morales. " as you are saying the everythings part you're getting all teary eyed. Then when you say the I love you, you lean over and give him such a beautiful loving kiss to show him you aren't mad one bit and you love him so so much.

After you've kissed for a little while, Frankie breaks it and says; " you think they'll want me to come to Christmas with you? " you both start laughing hysterically.

" oh I bet so, you made such a great impression. " you say between giggles.

" hey. I love you endlessly and infinitely. You deserve so much love and people that love you and care about you. You are always gonna have a place with me and my family. Yeah it's just the boys, me, and Nola. But hey we make it work and you will always be safe with us.

Now, let's go back to the hotel and get some rest and we can leave in the morning. How's that sound mi cielito? " he says while looking into your eyes and holding your hands the whole time rubbing reassuring sweet circles. Then kisses both of them when he's done talking.

" how do you always know how to make me speechless mister? I don't even know what to say. But yes let's go get some rest and then go home my love. " you lean over to him again and give him a kiss on the cheek and then a deeper one on his lips.

AN after reading: ok so. Continuation of what I changed and such.. The birthday things is actually true, she has always been like that. Everything is about her no matter what. I won't bore you with more details about her. I do truly wish I could stand up to her, yes she has great aunt qualities but her assholeness over powers it sooooo much.

The cemetery thing. I do want to do that one day, lol. The visiting a family friend part actually happened. The cemetery is just so sad looking and it made me upset that day. Wanted to go complain and ask for a job that day... 😆😆

This was really really therapeutic to do. I hope you guys liked it. 💞 I still am blown away that I decided to start writing and how much I've done. 🥂 here's to more adventures! 💞
