As soon as you got home, Alfred could tell something was off. Although it wasn't every day that you would run to greet him, he could count on at least a loud “Hey!” from across his home. But when he set his bags down from work, he heard no such thing.

Immediately, he tried to recall the morning you had spent together. Unluckily for him, it was nothing but a blur. You had... been there. He remembered that for sure, but if you had said something about being busy, he couldn't recall.

But that must be what had happened. Maybe he should set his alarms earlier, he concluded. But as for now, surely you would return home soon. There was nothing he could do about it, so he might as well enjoy his time alone.

It wasn't a habit Arthur particularly enjoyed, but he loved you despite it. And because you loved him too, you would at least usually leave a text message. But he had received none.

Just to be sure, he pulled out his phone and checked again. Nothing.

Well, he was dismayed, to say the least. But you wouldn't be gone long, he knew that for sure. Now all he had to do... was wait.

So he wandered into the living room, setting his briefcase down by the door before he jumped back. His breath hitched in his throat as he suddenly saw you, laying on the couch.

Clutching a hand to his chest to catch his breath, he approached quickly. But then he noticed the soft, almost unnoticeable smile on your face... the one you always wore while resting in his home. Slowly, he crouched down beside you, caressing your cheek while you slept. How adorable.

He was a lucky man, he thought to himself. He was very fortunate to be able to come home to this sight.

Lucky, considering he was about to start snoring himself and drown you out.

Reluctantly, he peeled himself off the floor and stumbled over to the living room. There, you were out cold on his old couch, still holding the book you had been telling him all about just the day before.

Adorable, was his first thought. Seeing you all peaceful, your chubby body relaxed on his couch. You really trusted him and his home that much? Amazing.

But then he started feeling jealous. He wanted to take a nap too! How long had you been here, relaxing while he had been working? Well, working was a pretty big stretch, but still! You were so lucky. When he had given you a key to his residence, Ludwig had really not expected you to use it as much as you had. But it seemed that every other day, he would return from whatever he had been doing to find you in his home, doing whatever. You had said something about even mundane things being more fun when you were with him. A sentiment he could understand at least a little, considering he wasn't one to complain about your presence. It comforted him just as much as it did you, even if he was afraid to admit it.

So when he returned home from the grocery store to find your shoes laid next to his, he wasn't surprised in the slightest. He just simply sighed and continued his day, quickly putting away his groceries.

“Y/N, how long have you been here?” He asks casually from the kitchen after he sees your figure laying on his couch. No response, but maybe you had your earbuds in. It's no matter.

But when he finishes his task and walks over, he instantly realizes you were asleep. It was the first time this had happened... and he really didn't know what to do.

He sat on the coffee table across from you, staring at you intensely as he was deep in thought. Would it be rude to wake you? Would it be weird to let you keep sleeping in his apartment? Sooo storytime! With the shitty fucking memory skills i have! It's gonna be very fun!

Okay so i'm at school, there's a recess going on i think?? And at one point i had to get out of the classroom for a bit and go to the room where the big people work y'know- those people that basically control the entire place? Yeah them.

At one point i had to get out and go there for some reason i don't remember, i think it was on a day where i was batshit mad at my mother so i'm guessing it's for help on calming down?? I guess?? Idk- that's not the point- moving on!

I went there and decided to see The Guy, the boss basically (he's a good dude btw, very friendly!), i go to see him and chat with the guy and suddenly, at some point, he brings up his son.

Here's where i learned i was truly bisexual...

He tells me somewhere along the lines of "hey wanna see pics of my son?" and i say "sure why not" and he brings out his phone and starts looking through the pics and he tells me "here's my son, look :D" and then, when i go to see... When i go to see the pics...

My mind was clouded in thoughts of how hot his son was. Deadass my mind was filled, from top to bottom, with "HOLY SHIT HE'S HOT", and "GOD I WANT HIM", and "I BET THE DICK IS INSANE", i felt my heart BEATING SO FUCKING MUCH it was like the liberation of FRANCE, to describe the rush i felt- i was gonna DIE but my soul kept my body up with ropes and chains and everything else that could hold me up and standing.

I don't remember what he looked like, hell i remember fuckle, but i do remember that HE'S FUCKING HOT AND I WANT HIM.

I went back to the classroom after all that jazz and i literally felt like a ventilation shaft spewing out steam and shit- i felt my body fuckin' SMOKING HOT I NEEDED TO PULL ON MY SHIRT (the neck hole y'know what i'm talking about you're smart-) TO LET THAT STEAM OUT AND COOL MY BODY.

I DON'T KNOW WHAT THE FUCK THAT GUY DID TO ME, I DON'T KNOW WHAT MAGIC HE CAST ON ME, BUT I DO KNOW THAT I REALLY WANNA SLEEP WITH THE DUDE HOT DAMN...

Oh yeah- i also took into account a past crush i had with a girl and then thought "well fuck i guess i'm bisexual... Neat!" and then that's that on that.

And that is how i found out i am a fan of both girls and guys! Hurray for me i guess!

okay so the concert started with the vcr/video from the dream show ..

rory's little scene was her as a teacher !!! so cute

OOH and then the transition into her into her teacher clothes into a suit .. thats my girl

her hair is still like this. much more vibrant than it was because she redyed it oops

first song was GO!! change ur ways

she was wearing this [ black cargo pants, a black crop top, belt, along with chains lmao idk how to describe. oh and black boots ] for go, drippin', we go up, and stronger performances!

it was kind of awkward at first but then she saw nctzens' faces so she was happy

"to the world, this is the nct! we are nct dream”

she clapped excitedly, jumping up and down

"beyond the dream show~"

when haechan asked the time where the fans were, she read the comments, squinting funnily at the screen before gasping

"one of the czennies said it was 3am!"

the other boys gasped in shock before clapping slightly

"thank you for watching us even though it's 3am!" rory said to the fans. "but go to bed as soon as this is over~ or whenever you're feeling tired, that's okay too!"

"for our global fans, we prepared something special, right?" haechan said and rory nodded, smiling

"so we prepared our greeting in various languages"

"oh dont scream then," renjun laughed, making her laugh before she went back to waving at the fans as they waved their lightsticks

when the fans appeared behind them, her eyes widened and she immediately ran to the screen, waving in all directions

she noticed when she got close to a fan's screen, they'd start waving their hand/lighstick even harder and it made her laugh

"rory, come back!" jaemin laughed, tugging her with him back to where the other 5 were

"wow, pretty grass" rory mocked mark as she stared at the lightsticks where the audience were supposed to be and on the screens

haechan had to hide a laugh

then there was we go up performance

"you guys suck," rory laughed, watching the boys try to succeed

when renjun comes over and succeeds in under one minute and one hand, she gasped in shock lightly before watching him walk away coolly and put his head back down on the desk

jaemin nudged her as she laughed, "you guys are just losers!"

and then it ends on her walking over to renjun and bending down to face him and tapping him on the shoulder

he jumps from how close she is and she laughs, grinning at him, "that was cool" before going back over to the boys and he watches her

she gets hit in the head by the basketball(she's after chenle) and luckily saves it before it falls to the ground and throws it towards the basket, renjun jumping up to hit it in

next performance is dunk shot!!!

she was wearing white loose shorts that ended midthigh and a pink button up over a white t-shirt

and had a huge ass smile on her face during it

she was in the middle of renjun and chenle at the bottom

AND THEY LEFT A SPACE FOR MARK IN BETWEEN JAEMIN AND JISUNG SHE ALMOST CRIED

"i think chenle changed the most" rory laughed, talking about the difference from now and almost four years ago when they debuted

"you changed a lot, too" chenle poked her and she huffed out a laugh, choosing not to respond to him and shook her head

when it was time for the interactions, she had to hide her wince because since she watched wayv and superm's, she was worried about how it would go because some fans' wifi connections were bad(so were sm's but anyways--)

oh luckily the first fan spoke korean !!

"hi!" she waved excitedly at the fan

when the fan said her name, she quietly repeated it to herself but it was still heard from the mic

rory's mouth went dry at that question as she rubbed her hands together, looking at the boys silently as they ahhed and oohed

she smiled slightly as she saw how big their smiles got at the question

chenle said that the members were his family. they're literally siblings

jisung said bc they're older than him, they're like his younger siblings

rory had to look away in order to not laugh at his answer LMFAO

she couldnt contain how big her smile got when jaemin said that he couldn't live without them

she literally almost cried from tears of laughter from jeno's answer "onion"

renjun said that the members are youth to him

and him bringing up the stupid bottle to his face . i s2g she quickly yanked that from him so quick while laughing

and then finally it was her turn

"um, thank you for the question, siyoung!" she clapped slightly before continuing. "to me, the members are .. my childhood" she nodded slightly as she spoke. "we all grew up together so each of them have a piece of my childhood that i dont want to leave"

renjun pulls her into a side hug as jeno says "cute~"

when the fan said she'd stick with nct dream seven days a week, she laughed from the sudden overwhelming feeling at her words and bowed towards the fan, keeping her eyes to the ground so the camera wouldn't catch her teary eyes

"nct dream have 8 members--" when haechan said that, rory smiled big and nodded her head

"infinity" rory cheered, the members following behind

so alana would SO plan her apartment out from when she was like young enough to understand it ya get it

like she would pick out furniture at age six

(her taste would obviously change as she got older but u get it)

and she would literally have it down to the p a i n t color

like she would walk into home depot or whatever and the worker would expect her to look around for like 40 minutes but she’d be like

“hi hello i’ll take seashell grey in the gloss finish please. make it quick.”

(i totally just made that up what the hell is a gloss finish never heard of her)

i also picture her having lots of house plants? like most of them would be fake bc she’s too busy to keep them alive but they wouldn’t look fake

yeah alana’s apartmetnt would be so put together and like clean cut and nice

zoe:

or when she’d be over doing homework w zoe she’d try to teach her math and science and stuff on it

evan’s apartment would be v small

he llved with his mom the first two years of college but decided to move out because he was feeling like he made a lot of progress and was ready to live on his own (btw is it canon tht he lives w his mom first year of college? i forget lmk)

(but he wasn’t really living on his own bc connor was always over or he was at connor’s place) 

he would have a v little sitting area w a really old tv and a worn out couch that was probably free on the side of the road or cheap from a garage sale

he would have a fridge and oven and stuff but he’d mostly just use the microwave

(ho;ly shit “some people say just use a microwave…”)

(i h8 myself why why why ok moving on)

his diet would mainly consist of ramen noodles

bc he doesn’t want to leave and have to socalize with people at fast food places or the grocery store

but every once and a while zoe would come over like “evan wtf” and make him food to hold him over for a while

(uh hc that zoe’s a really good cook??/)

he would have a little bedroom with a big window in it

and his comforter would be blue with navy stripes (similar to The Shirt™ but not completley the same)

he would have lots of sticky notes everywhere

like ranging from “don’t forget to feed the dog” to “don’t worry about it, it’s probably not a big deal”

and when he was in a really good mental state he would write them and stick them in places he know he’d see when he wasn’t in the best shape

and it would encourage him to keep going

wow that’s equally heartbreaking and adorable

ok don’t fight me on this we all know it’s a thing

he would have plants. eve ry wh ere

like there wouldn’t be a single fake plant in there

but he loved them bc he felt like it made the air fresher??? like it supplied more oxygen in the room which made it easier to breathe when he was feeling anxious??

(idk i can’t really explain it but that’s how i feel when i get anxious so i feel like it would help him too)

but it would range from huge ass borderline trees to succlents the size of his thumb nail

he would have s o many succulents

he would name them all

and each of his friends would have a plant named after them

even though it was small he really loved his apartment

bc he worked really hard to be able to pay for it and buy the furniture and stuff

so it was like his baby

connor’s apartment would actually be pretty big

like everything would be super super high quality and nice 

he would so have a recliner chair

you know the one i’m talking about okay

and he would spend most of his time in there

even though he def has a huge nice sectional

(btw most of his furniture is black)

when evan would come over he wouldn’t want to get up out of it

but even always wanted to cuddle

so the first time evan was like “con come over hereee”

connor just scooched over

and evan was like “??”

but just went over to him

and they were kinda squished but they loved it 

bc they were so close to eachother

but yeah they would love to cuddle on the recliner

his kitchen would be p nice too

like he would have a weirdly high tech fridge and a really nice oven and stuff

but if u opened the fridge there would just be like a half dranken (that is nOT a word) bottle of mountain dew, a cheese stick, and maybe on a good day some random leftovers

(btw idk why but i see his parents buying him most of the stuff in his apartment,, this doesn’t really make sense when i think about it but i can’t not do it what am i saing now awioehfdlsnk)

his room would be nice

he would have a big bed with a black and white plaid duvet cover

omg evan would l o v e his bed

like evan of course loves his own bed but connor’s is just so comfy

his walls would be like a greyish blue color

but his furniture would still be all black

he would have a big desk and he always kept sticky notes around for evan to doodle on if he ever got anxious

and he has an entire drawer in his dresser just for his hair ties because he has an unhealthy amount of them

partly because he wants to keep his hair up sometimes

but partly because he always wears one around his wrist to snap when he gets mad or can’t control his emotions

and he always ends up loosing them

oh also his shower in his bathroom would be BOMB like im talking it has one of those little ledge chair thingies 

and the water pressure is a plus

and evan’s shower at his apartment is like sucky so he always just showers at connors

(i mean this in the least innapropriate way possible btw jus clearing that up)

but connor would spend SO much time there

first of all i'd like to thank the people who read my writing! even though it's only a few people im really happy!! thank you!! so coming up is renjun! btw you can find the others at #bf series!! •you and renjun would be the aesthetic couple with all the soft pastel colours going on warm dates •like imagine you and renjun having a date at a puppy/cat while having matching baby blue outfits with rays of sunshine shining through the windows yep aesthetic •a lot of couple items and most of them are little things like key chains and simple necklaces that can be found at shops by the streets or morning markets smth like that •he'd also make things for you and gives it to you usually during anniversaries bc he wants to make something that is special for you and when you receive it you're all soft and you return his gift with kisses and cuddles and all •i feel like he'd like playing with your hair and if it's long enough he'll try all kinds of hairstyles he came across - purposely - found online like braiding and all •it'll turn out pretty but when it comes to the time where you want to take off the pins and braids and whatnot your hair will be tangled up in his hands •since renjun is a pretty neat person, i don't think he'd like sharing clothes but you would manage to steal one or two shirts of his and when he found out he didn't say anything instead he would sneak pics to set it as his wallpaper (he'll purposely leave his clothes where you'll find to get more pics) •if you have something you're supposed to do but keep on procrastinating or decide to do it last minute he'll nag you until you do so or he'll do it with you •like when you both got homework for history that was due the day after tomorrow you were like i'll do it tomorrow and renjun was like NO let's do it right now and drags you to the table with him (right before dragging he'll tell you all the reasons he could think of on why is it better to do work earlier rather than last minute) •you two will go on soft dates like animal cafes or just lying on the field looking at the sky in the evening - when it's not too sunny -to look at the clouds imagine looking at the clouds and giggling when renjun said the clouds look like ice creams and animals •while you're over at the dorm mark would accidentally blurt out embarrassing things renjun did and it'd trigger(the fever) your interest and you'll keep asking mark to tell you more •renjun gives his side glare to mark and plots to break him in half when you leave the dorm poor mark lol •he'd serenade you with your favourite songs at anytime of the day •your family would love this boy as well after he helped your mom pick up her groceries while you two were on the way back from school and from then he was welcomed to your home anytime soon he dropped by constantly •sleepovers?? the both of you will always have a sleepover whenever the both of you are free •you get your parents' permission easily bc they trust renjun to take care of you(not you taking care of yourself lol) and they'll drop you by their dorm with a ton of snacks and all when you get into the dorm you see that you were wearing the matching set of pyjamas he bought on one of your dates •first it started off with a movie and when you were cuddling with renjun in the mountains of pillows and a few blankets at the first quarter of the movie the dreamies join in and somehow a pillow fight started •and when he found out you were hit by a pillow thrown by haechan he threw his pillow at the other boy so hard he fell off the couch •renjun is the protective, trustworthy boyfriend!! thanks for reading!! do tell me what do you guys think!!

First picture, on left: I left it out from the last post because it already was crazy long, but both Satoshi and Tony inherited a certain “gene”, a demon characteristic from their father’s side of family. It makes them both feel many emotions very INTENSE, mostly love. Basically it makes forming relationships crazy hard (”hey i just met you but id like to move in with you all” “nice to meet you, you look nice, oops i think im in love with you...??”). Satoshi was a traditional teen and fell in love with other teen, and then it didn’t work out. They were both magic, and I’m still unsure if Satoshi told her about this characteristic, but his gf was a angel with some prejudices so Satoshi probably felt quite guilty about being... well, himself. His brothers helped him get over it, and it alarmed them A LOT when their usually caring brother was a huge mess.

First pic, right: Quintin tried to act like he didn’t care about his brothers a lot, but as you can see, his brothers saw right through it. Raul and Saburou liked to gang up on him.

Second pic: This one had text “this kid needs a hug” and an arrow to where Tony is hugging Quintin.

Third pic: Satoshi sleeping with Edouard. Edouard is probably the purest of them all. I have no idea why Edouard’s shirt reads All Might.

Fourth pic: Lawrence is VERY powerful wizard. You see, usually wizards need some sort of object to channel their magic through. The object might be absolutely anything, usually something durable though. Finding that object is bit of a journey for everyone, and there actually are people who never find theirs. Lawrence, however. He tried finding his, but... he didn’t seem to need it, always. Initially it probably would have helped him, but he got over it. Controlling his magic still wasn’t easy, and his power often scared him.

btw lawrence isn’t even a main character in any of my stories, not really, so when I connected him to some other characters I thought it would be funny to make him more powerful than them all.

Lawrence and Tony have a bit different bond compared to their siblings, having the same mother. They both look alike, but Tony cannot use wizard magic.

major: film production 

minor: visual arts

sports: she’s on the uni’s women’s basketball team but outside of school she teaches taekwondo to kids !!

clubs: aspiring filmmakers society, girls who skate (all female skateboarding team), big brother big sister (she’s the big sister to a 6th grade girl who cut her hair short because amber inspired her), actually amber is in a lot of clubs because she has 4546932 friends and they invite her to all their clubs and she can never say no rofl

amber,,,,to put it bluntly is the most popular person on the college campus. like,,,,,,everyone knows who she is everyone from newly entered freshmen to people who graduated like three years ago 

why? because she’s so damn bright and positive that it’s hard not to notice her and well,,,,she’s probably the first person to befriend you because she’s just so outgoing and she loves loves LOVES making friends

and like amber is friends with jackson who is the other most popular person on campus and the two of them are always outside shooting hoops or being dumb on the quad and like ,,, everyone wants to be their friend because they always look like they’re having fun

but amber is also friends with the queen of the campus aka krystal who seems so cold and unapproachable from far away but somehow she’s always managing to smile and laugh around amber

and amber,,,,she just has a way of pulling everyone in towards her with an addicting laugh and an adorable smile and just this dorky, lovable personality 

she’s a film productions major and like she became passionate about making movies after spending time filming skate videos and vlogs for her youtube channel (which btw is still a thing she does. her vlog ‘ranting monkey’ is insanely popular like she has like 4 million subs and her instagram + twitter is always blowing up and everyone on campus is like HOLY SHIT YOU’RE INTERNET FAMOUS and amber’s like LOL NO IM NOT)

but yeah she thought about doing music as a career and learning to become a producer, but she decided that something about film was just more invigorating 

and she always has a camera on her and she’s always filming and uploading things

like it can go from her just using her phone to film her having lunch with her friends, to her using the gopro to film her and her friends skating, to her lugging around a huge camcorder for a movie she’s making for a class

but she’s always alWAYS bustling with energy to film something or take photos of something like she can never stop

and everyone she hangs out with somehow inevitably become actors in all her skits and movies 

and she’s always posting in the facebook group for the screenwriting majors if anyone wants to work with her for projects and she’s always like juggling 495342 things

people are sometimes like “amber, when do you sleep?” and she just shrugs like “i ????? don’t”

luna and victoria are always nagging her about staying healthy and amber’s like “ok ok ok ill eat!!!” and then she takes a bite of like luna’s salad and drinks some of victoria’s coffee and is like “see? i just had breakfast!” and they’re like aMBER

but it’s too late she’s skated off to her next class

she took visual arts as a minor mostly because she wants to be able to create more things on her own for her films because she’s basically a broke college student

plus all the friends she made in class all offer to like help her draw sets or make props and through visual art she became close with people in the fashion major 

and all of them aDORE her and are always like “if you need help with a movie!!!!! tell us!!!!”

and amber only gets shy about things like that, when people are so straightforward with giving her help she’s like you gUYS,,,,,you’re the best but i can’t even pay you???? and they’re like no no we want to do it because you’re amazing

and amber like pulls her hood over her face like iM NOT 

and it’s like the only time she gets flustered but it is sooooooo adorable

also she’s the certified girl crush of literally everyone on campus and it is hilarious because when the uni’s basketball teams have games

more girls show up to the women’s game with banners with ambers face on it and poster boards with ‘i love you unnie’ written on them and amber ,,,,,, like,,,,she looks so good in the uniform like ,,,,,, it’s heavenly

everyone always takes pics and a freshman even confessed to amber that they had made a photo of amber jumping to dunk their phone background and amber was like DUDE REALLY and they showed her and she like ruffled their hair like IM HONORED

that freshmen nearly Died because holyshit amber blessed them with a hair ruffle 

the women’s teams coach was like ‘amber we’re going to put your face on the university’s sports homepage ok?’ and amber was like ‘what why’ and everyone was like pointing at her fanclub sitting in the bleachers like thats WHY 

some people will sometimes talk about her behind her back because of her easygoing personality around boys and how she dresses and chooses to express herself

but like the rumors never go far because anyone that hears someone badmouthing amber will literally stand up for her on the spot because she’s been helpful to so many people and has become friends with even those who have a hard time being social

and like literally 99% of the campus has her back

and it’s cute she’s kind of oblivious to it because everyone does their best to make sure she doesn’t have to hear any bullshit for the way she lives her life

so when someone’s like “god, she’s such a fox hanging around with guys all the time” and amber’s like “who are they talking about?” literally the 10 people around her will be like “oh no one” and then proceed to be like @ the people who were rude like “get a life perhaps?”

once amber came into school not wearing her usual skinny jeans, vans, loose shirt combo but came in like a Suit because she was having an important dinner @ the big brother big sister program later

and everyone lost their shit. she wore that suit once but she got featured in the school newspaper

and amber has a special spot for making films that are like about life and growing up and like learning something about yourself because she really wants to make films that inspire people to be better

so all her professional work is always about like,,,,,,,people overcoming tough situations,,,,,,,,and she’s just a sweetheart because she finds people who are quietly struggling and says she wants to make a film about them because their struggle - and their hard work should be recognized and used as motivation for others

and for most people hearing someone say that, let alone offer to make a film about it, is really,,,,,,,is really touching because you realize that someone notices your efforts

and amber is that person. no matter what - she sees that people are trying, even when it isn’t their best, they’re trying in her eyes

but she hardly ever notices that she’s trying 

and it’s that about her that you wish you could tell her,,,,,

and you do,,,,just not to her face???

instead you kinda just comment on her posts with ‘hope you’re eating well!’ ‘i appreciate everything you do!’ and of course ‘i’ll always know you’ll do your best!’

and tbh you don’t think much of it,,,because like other people flood her instagram and twitter with comments all the time

like as humble as amber is, it’s beyond obvious that she’s famous online and like,,,,,,,the only thing that makes you different from the other 40k comments is the fact that you go to uni with her

and you’ve actually spoken to her quite a few times because you work part-time in the uni’s gym so you see amber during basketball practice and she’s always be asking you to help her find her locker key (she has a habit of losing it)

and you always help,,,,,,,even if it meant staying 30-40 minutes after your shift was over because like,,,,it’s amber

her glowing smile and the cute way she jumps up and down when finally finding the key,,,,,it’s something that would warm your heart for hours after

and like most people, developing a crush on amber is pretty much a given,,,,,like it’s impossible not to fall some bit in love with her because she’s all around,,,,,an angel

but your crush didn’t even come from the fact that she’s so silly and adorable

it came from the moment you saw her sitting in the locker room, drinking energy drinks and obviously fighting to stay awake, talking on the phone and going “yeah im fine, don’t worry i slept!! ill come after practice to help you out - no no i promise im totally awake, ill see you at 9!”

and you couldn’t hear what the person on the other line was saying, but amber was telling them over and over that she’d be there after practice

and when she’d finished the call, getting up you could see her stumble a bit,,,drained of energy and when she’d walked past you you could even catch the coming in of dark circles under her eyes

but when she went back out onto the court, no one else seemed to notice. they all just laughed and patted her on the back and somehow amber managed to smile back and crack jokes

and you had wondered to yourself is there was a point that even the most sunny, vibrant people could break and get tired

and so,,,,in a way,,,,,you just wanted to support her. even if commenting ‘i hope you get some rest’ on a photo was all you could really do

but then,,,,,somehow,,,,,,amber’s finding you after your shift in the gym one day and going 

“i see you always working here and i was wondering if i could film you a bit for a movie im doing, it’s about kids who work on campus so im also filming jinyoung from the campus bookstore and jin from the campus new channel, would you be ok with being in it?”

and tbh you stand there dumbfounded for like 5 min and amber’s like “heeeey helllloooooo are you listening???” and waving her hand in your face and you’re like UH

and you kind of don’t know how to respond because one) you haven’t ever really thought of ever being on camera especially not for something as mundane as working at your uni’s gym two) amber ,,,,, noticed you enough to ask you to be in a film of hers??? and three) being filmed by her,,,,of all people,,,,,,would you even be able to control your blushing face????

and you stutter a bit because you’re like “it,,,,,it’s going to be b-boring?” 

and amber laughs like “well, that’s kinda the point!! that uni jobs are boring, but like you guys perceiver and pull through to do a job that helps a lot of other students! so dude, are you up for it?”

and you don’t even think you say /yes/ but amber is smiling so wide and her eyes are sparkling like stars

and you’re sold. you’re done. you’ll do anything for her just about then

and you nod 

and amber grins and tells you she’ll be back with her camera next week

and you stand there for a moment, thinking to yourself,,,,,,,,

amber is going to film,,,,,,,,,me,,,,,

and for a couple days you think you must have like ???? daydreamed it

how could someone so popular, so sociable, and so,,,,,,,,,,so far above you decide suddenly that you - some person who’d just been in the background all the time - be worthy enough to film??/

and you know amber loves motivational things and whatnot but your job isn’t anything like that. you work at the gym and do stuff like get towels clean for the athletes and make sure the basketballs are inflated and sometimes clean up garbage off the bleachers 

there’s nothing really motivational, you just need the money

but then - much to your surprise - amber is there just like she said she would be with a camcorder and a mic and a couple of other people all holding light equipment 

and when she sees you, she waves and runs over

and it’s like you’re watching it in slow-mo, her bangs brush out of her face as she runs, her smile with the upturned corners of her lips is so distinct and radiant, and most of all her eyes,,,,,pretty big bright pools of brown,,,,,

all happy because of you and god your heart would break right there if it wasn't for the fact that you were scared to death all of a sudden because of everyone else there

amber, the least bit bothered by the crowd of her friends, grabs your hand and is like “are you ready?? i want to shoot a short interview with you and ask some questions so i got some people together to help with lighting and one of them is from the fashion dept she can help do your makeup. we’re gonna shoot it here in the locker room, is that cool beans with you?”

and you’re like “uhhhhhhh”

and amber senses that you’re a Bit shocked and she like slaps your back playfully like “hey, i know it’s all intimidating because woooooah cameras and lights and makeup blah blah blah but it’ll be easy, just trust me ok! i never make things awkward!”

with a wink she nudges you forward and you’re like swallowing the lump in your throat like oK ,,,,,

and you sit down and suddenly there’s someone putting a mic on you and another person arranging your hair from your face and a voice asking you to close your eyes and your head is spinning but before you close your eyes you see amber from the corner of your eye

enthusiastically speaking to someone and she sees you, smiling again

and just with that you think - you can do this!!! whatever,,,,,this is ,,,,,,

and the interview is pretty short amber just asks how you started working here / why do you work here / and your duties

and you’re like “i did it for the money, i need to pay for my own books and stuff so,,,,,”

and amber goes “is there any other reason? like once you started working here, did something about helping out all the athletes feel gratifying? like when you hand someone a towel after practice or help the mascot into their costume?”

for a second you think you want to just come out and say “no” because this job is what you said before, it’s boring. there’s not big reward, nothing like working at the library or working as a TA

but then you look at amber again,,,,,and the moments where you stayed behind with just her to help her find the keys to her locker,,,,the moments where you’d search every corner diligently until you could find the keys that would make the girl you had the biggest crush on jump up and down in happiness

and you squat down in front of the dorm, clutching your hands to your ears and you tell yourself

the voice comes from behind you and were so busy arguing w/yourself in your head that you didn’t even hear someone running after you

and you turn around and there’s amber,,,,,this time her smile is faltering into a frown and her eyes are filled with worry and you’re like 

oh shit oh shit i didn’t mean to make her worried oh shit oh man oh no

and amber gives you a pout that basically lodges a knife into your heart and she’s like “dude you just ran off like the flash and we were all so confused, did something happen? did i do something wrong?”

and you’re like “n-no that’s not it it’s just-”

and amber steps closer and suddenly she’s only inches away, leaning toward your face and grinning, going “c’mon, tell me. don’t lie too, ill know if you’re lying i have spidey senses”

you don’t want to tell her but at the same time you don’t have a choice, if you don’t you’ll just end up being a mess the whole time and ruin her movie so you take a breathe and go

“the person who’s impossible to reach is you. the reason i still work at the gym is you. i lik-”

you choke a bit on the last word and look down at the ground instead of at amber's face

“i like you.”

 it’s silent and you can basically hear yourself screaming in your brain because HERE WE GO MAKING THINGS AWKWARD JUST WHEN THE PERSON OF YOUR DREAMS ACTUALLY MAKES AN ATTEMPT TO BE YOUR FRIEND AND YOU GOTTA GO CONFESS YOUR FEELINGS WOW 

but then you hear amber’s laugh

the intoxicating, contagious laugh and your eyes widen because it’s even worse than her rejecting you,,,,,she’s straight up making fun of you,,,,,,,

and tears start to well up in your eyes because you can’t take this,,,,but then you hear her go “im sorry- im so- sorry i didn’t mean to laugh but you ,,,,,,you looked so scared,,,,like your eyeballs might pop out of your skull and,,,,,oh wait give me a second”

and she wipes at her face with the sleeve of her hoodie and she’s like “ok ok, i can talk now phew. ok. well it’s a good thing you like me because guess what?”

you don’t look up but amber tilts your chin so you’re forced to

and the next thing you know there are soft lips on yours and you’re like HOLY MOTHER OF

but she’s really really proud that you liked it

you befriend luna, krystal, and victoria really fast because you’re always worried about ambers health and you tell them about that time in the locker room when you though amber was going to pass out but she still agreed to help her friend
