The guests would arrive soon, and the groom and his friends were getting ready at the house next door, like her mom suggested.

She was getting her last touches. Her make up was light and simple and her hair was styled on a low ponytail, her wedding day wasn’t the exception. Her dress was beautiful, long sleeved with white lace flowers on the top and a long white skirt, no veil.

She looked beautiful, everything was going as good as expected, her fiancé was her everything she had ever dreamed as a little girl and loved her.

But all she wanted to do was run.

Ok, that's it. I'm not going to shut up about this. I have to have at least the possibility of defend myself or at least explain and apologize.

I'm really sorry about what I said. I really am. It was morbid and inappropriate and stupid. I should not let stupid stuff like this affect me. I did and I let my anger get the best of me.

And I know it's just a TV show and it's fiction and everything but Barchie really presses a weak spot of my personality like a bruse and it makes me see red. I won't explain this any further because it's private, but I will say this.

I know it's my flaw and my problem and I'm working on it.

Summery: Betty Cooper, a young aspiring writer, struggles writing an in-dept book exploring sexual fantasies. Without any real experience, she finds it impossible to get anywhere. Her fear of failure pushes her to seek out experience of her own. After chasing down dead-end rumors for months, Betty finds out about a secret club created entirely for the purpose of having anonymous sex. Just when she least expects it, she receives an invitation to their first party. Upon arrival, she is handed a mysterious drink and is led into the ballroom. After the party, she finds herself led into a room, handed a blindfold, and ordered to strip down as she waits for her mysterious partner. Minutes pass before the door opens again and her partner arrives. Little does she know, behind the mask and blindfolds, her partner is Jughead Jones, her ex fiancee who disappeared from her life for unknown reasons hoping to drown away the sorrows of lost love. (Bughead Fanfiction) “La Douleur Exquise”

SUMMARY:

Jughead Jones is on the final year of his training as a cardiothoracic surgeon when he began experiencing ferocious chest pains that seized him at arbitrary times of the day; sometimes, he coughed out blood accompanied by curious forms that distinctly resemble flower petals.

He discovered (with great incredulity) that he suffered from a disease called Hanahaki Disease - an extremely rare type of disease that allegedly affects individuals that suffer from a profound unrequited love.

He would have easily dismissed it as an alternative fact when he realized that his symptoms started appearing when his best friend of a decade started dating a man of prominent stature, and he watched her slip away from him.

Fortunately for Jughead, the disease is completely curable. It would go away when the object of the patient’s affections returns his feelings, or by surgical removal. As a surgeon, the choice shouldn’t have to be difficult for Jughead; but as he discovered, once the curious growth is resected from the diseased lungs, the feelings along with all memories of the beloved disappear.

And if he leaves the disease on its natural course, he may end up dead.

This was supposed to be an entry for the Buggie Break, but I am a slow writer, so it’s 2 weeks late. This has been in the works for weeks, but I have been insecure about a lot of things, so I let it gather dust for a while before I had enough confidence to share it.

First attempt at Bughead drabble. Currently have something planned with @bugheadfangirl but wanted to see if people would even be receptive to it. Unedited & just a quick preview. 

It was hard - one of the hardest things would ever have to do. 

The senior year was ending and he knew she was destined for greater things. She was always supposed to make it out of Riverdale, and while he originally planned on following her anywhere and everywhere... plans change.

He’d become heavily involved in the lifestyle of the serpents and they had begun to rely on him. He was his dad’s second hand. And while he had come to terms with the fact that he was going to stay... He was even more determined to make sure she didn’t. She was going somewhere, even if it was as far from him as possible.

That was why the night of prom he’d held her close all night, whispering “I love you” into her ear over and over. He’d been the perfect date, twirling her around the floor with his hands gripping her hips. When the night was nearly over, he’d taken her back to the room he’d gotten for this occasion, and with the help of Veronica, led her through the rose petals scattered on the floor to the bed surrounded with candles.

And he made love to her.

He made love to her all-night long.

They’d fallen asleep in each other’s arms, a smile on her lips even in slumber. He’d watched her sleep most of the night, selfishly allowing himself to remember every curve of her body, each dimple on her face.

When he’d gathered himself enough to untangle himself from her arms, he had to fight the urge to wake her up, so he could look into her beautiful green eyes one last time. She didn’t deserve to watch him leave and he didn’t deserve for her to cry while he did.

Instead, he left a note on the nightstand that said he’d always love her, but he had to let her go. She was more than this town and his life was this town. He couldn’t wait to witness everything she accomplished.

With a lingering kiss on her forehead, he gathered his clothes, dressing as he walked, and then made his way out of the room, out of the hotel, and out of her life forever.
