Features: This gorgeous little fox is big, soft, and cute as a button. He has embroidered facial features and originally comes with a optional voicebox, Sleeper (not photographed) and Eeveelutions cape.

Fun facts: This Eevee is a first edition which, unlike the later version has a reddish pink embroidered shine in his eyes.

I was invited to do chalk art at an event over the weekend at the new Build A Bear Adventure. I wanted to do something bear related and immediately had the idea to do The Creation of Adam but with an original-style teddy bear and a Build A Bear. The line to enter the event was over the blacktop area so I had to draw on the less than ideal chunkier concrete for that one, but I think it turned out well.

The second drawing of eeveelutions is a recreation of this art: https://www.deviantart.com/suikuzu/art/THE-EEVEELUTION-PROBLEM-396383219 It was really hard to get everything in the right place but I think I managed ok and had a bunch of little kids excited when they realized I was drawing Pokémon.

I was at the event from 10am to 4pm and finished up my last drawing of Charizard around 3:45. I’d say the first two drawings took about 2.5 hours each.

My thighs are still sore from spending so much time squatting, but I had a great time. I also got a free bear package for doing this event and now own a Build A Bear Sprigattito whom I’m affectionately calling Weed Cat.
