Viktor’s Evolution and his belief in it make so much more sense if you shift the symptoms of the spills to something as dire as Acute Radiation Syndrome.

The False Prophet, answering for his apostasy and transgression at last. Burning up in a self-made pit of concrete and steel, one he had personally dreamt of and oversaw and nourished to grow into a garden that will serve to fuel the flames that will soon eat away at his flesh and bone and—

Nothing. Joseph’s fingers don't heat up as they graze the fabric, not really, not even when they pull it to the side enough for him to be able to blink away the stardust obscuring his vision and the figure that slowly approaches the stilled compound.

He doesn't have to squint to recognize the despondent form of his brother shuffling closer to the dug up trench, wrists bound and shackled, held up to his chest as a sign of good faith and seemingly pure intentions. Jaw set tight, matching blue eyes shining back at him with useless determination, Joseph cannot stop the rueful smile from breaking the sombre lines of his face; John was the only thing he could always successfully predict, after all.

Willowglen Park

After Mervyn Strand's contribution, the Royal Treasury reached it's first threshold of $5000, unlocking the Village Green and Communal Well lots. I decided to combine them into one lot (10x20, I think? or maybe 20x30? I can't remember, lol), creating Willowglen Park.

Sims can come here to get water, fish, play games, and generally just hang out for a bit. It's located at a central road intersection, close to all the starting homes.

We have a similar sort of excitability, but he's much less prone to dithering. I'm a lot less calm under fire and don't like getting into situations that I can't instantly get the measure of.

Just sort of casual-friends, I'd think? We don't have a lot of shared interests, and I think I'd become annoying to him pretty quickly. Friends in moderation, sort of.

He seems like an okay kid though, keeps things clean and doesn’t get in the way. He’s looking for his own place anyway so I won’t be out a couch too long. It’s kind of a trip, you know?”

“Thankfully, I don’t. I know exactly how many kids I got, Don. None, and I’m happier for it. Kids are just headaches, heartaches, and grey hairs. Speaking of-

“Hey don’t even joke. I’m not about to join the salt and pepper set… you either for that matter, Sal.”

“What’s that? You suddenly want to pay full price for drinks again?”

“Er- nevermind, Big Guy, I take it back, haha!”

“I mean it though, he’s not a bad kid. Maybe he got that from his mom. I was a terror at that age.”

“Who is his mom anyway?”

“Can’t recall for the life of me. Sometimes I think I can almost see a face when he’s turned a certain way, or makes a certain face at me… I don’t know though. Too many faces for one man to remember properly.”

“Yeah… problem is that you weren’t looking at their faces.”

“Anyway… he’s maybe turned out okay, but he’s a little quiet. Little shy. Has almost none of that good old Lothario charm. There’s gotta be something I can do to help him with that.”

“Dang, just met the kid and already you want to ruin him.”

*laughing “Jeez Salem, pull my hair next time you plan to ride me so hard. I’m just trying to look out for the kid a little is all. He’s blood, and Lotharios have to have each other’s backs. If I had known about him sooner… I don’t know. point is, there’s a lot of weirdos out there and people looking for love in all the wrong places.”
