“I didn’t read much — watched the sun go down — just a plain yellow sunset and one star came out — I wanted you when the yellow light came in and it was all so quiet — the day had been very windy — just to be quiet by you — while the sky turned from yellow to cold white moonlight —”

— Georgia O’Keeffe, from a letter to Alfred Stieglitz featured in My Faraway One: Selected Letters of Georgia O'Keeffe and Alfred Stieglitz: Volume One, 1915-1933

Process video coming soon!

[image description: a photo of Jack’s bullet journal opened to a two page monthly spread. On the left is a collage of black paper printed with light purple moons and lavender, black and white washi tape, and craft paper with the quote “All we have to decide is what to do with the time that is given us.” by JRR Tolkien. at the bottom of the page is a sketch of a skeleton holding a scythe.

on the right, the collage paper continues from the left. below it is a sketch of a glass bottle with a light purple label that is filled with eerie green bubbling liquid. overlaid the bottle with more craft paper and washi tape is the month October and the days of the week, with a small calender below.

28.9.2020 | do you wanna know how my workspace looks? it’s a mess

I am very messy when I create but I love the outcome!

I am hurting. I feel lonely. I feel like no one cares about what makes me happy, about what I’m doing, about who I am. I know I’ll be okay. I know that there’s a person who cares. It’s just that the daily reality is really hard. I create for myself because I know myself. I love and care about myself. And I know that healthy myself is beautiful. Inside out. It will be good for others, too.
