The saurs are the first type swap I designed for this little side project!

The starters are the Rock/Flying/Fighting trio and little Brutesaur is fighting type for this region!

The dark typing was fun, an original design having the spikes tied onto them which they would use in underhanded ways but it made it too clunky in execution! The belts on the mons also are symbolic: a headband for bulba, wristbands for ivy and then venasaur has a compression band to help it fight.

Much like how torrent, overgrowth and blaze exist this type swap also has some variants! Marbling,headrush and second wind, giving these little type swaps the same option!

OOH A ZEBRA PLANT! LOOK AT HIM! he's even got some sprouts! honestly, the turning red thing is usually a sign of too much direct sunlight & you also wanna make sure you don't over-water them. just do the "soak and dry" method where you thoroughly wet the soil and then wait until it's completely dry to water it again. also, judging from his size I think he'd do well in a pretty big pot with some fresh succulent soil. he looks like he's a grower 👀

Yeee, the green sprouts coming through sorta reassured me that he was gon’ be okay. 😌 And yeah, I might’ve been overwatering. When I got him, my mum (she was passing him along to me for my grandparents) said to water him every two or so days, but I guess that was too much, especially after it started getting cooler. I’ll defs let the soil dry completely going forward. A yeh a bigger pot would probably be best too - I read up on those Bulba/Ivy/Venasaur planters, and they’re not very deep apparently, so gotta watch out for growing boyz. 😔 Maybe I’ll just find him a brand new pot and move him across, and I can get more lil’ succulents to put in those at a later date. 🤣 My heart is set on having at least a Bulbasaur and an Ivysaur zlkdjc

Also yeah! Like I didn’t really appreciate it when I was younger, but my grandpa was super good with plants, like he loved his garden like it was another child, so I wanna keep this lil’ guy around for as long as I can.

I don’t think I ever mentioned that I have a pokesona now! I’ve always wanted a passimian instead but Cassybaby’s art is so adorable. I had to get me one of her bulbas. <3

Nox is a custom design done entirely by her and modeled after the shiny Hawlucha color palette - sans green. I hope to eventually get him as an ivy and venusaur - perhaps have him turn into a dark/poison?

Also if anyone wants to do art of Nox I’m all for trading my custom Fell For You for him, or trade off some rares I have. <3

If anyone wants to help with Nox’s evolutions I want to incorporate the green into his bulb/flower! I’d love to see ideas people may come up with.

Loafsaurs

I recently came up with my own headcanon for Bulbas that they sit in loafs like cats. But where would they learn that behavior? From their older siblings, of course! The Shining Bulba is based off of a Bulbasaur that I owned on Silver version named 'Palm Tree' and the Ivy is based off of a figurine that I own, whom features maroon irises instead of red.
