How I feel about this character: the best gremlin princess who deserves the world <3 Love her character, adore her design and aesthetic - I want to squish her like a stress toy, she's so cute and fun and cool and OP it's unbearable sometimes! 😔

All the people I ship romantically with this character: nggh i'm so boring when it comes to this stuff, but i only ship her with Hordak, do not care for other ships *shrugs*

My non-romantic OTP for this character: I'll say Entrapta and Kadroh, aka her future brother in law^^ Love their dynamic!

Oh and I also like the potential of Entrapta and Adora as a duo - honestly I wish they could interact more in canon! Adora was among the few who was always nice to her and never did her wrong, seeing Entrapta as a person rather than just a useful tool. Plus sometimes they give off such simillar vibes and they can be hilarious when together, I can totally see them becoming much closer friends post season 5!

My unpopular opinion about this character: I'm not a big fan of Entrapta's relationship/friendship with Darla and several jokes in s5 about her wanting to fuck a robot. Personally, it does make me a tiny bit uncomfortable, but my main complaint is not about that. What I'm trying to say is that it's season 5, the final season, and yet Entrapta is still more eager to interact and spend time with robots and anchient ALs than real people. There are Entrapta's supposed friends on the ship with her, and yet Entrapta spends most of the time with Darla or around new tech she found. I get that she's always excited about tech, but Entrapta went through an entire character arc about friendship and learned a lot about relationships and people, she literally wanted to find new friends who are not robots?? And yet in the final season it still doesn't feel like she's friends with anyone from the main cast. On one hand there are the princesses, their bulling and ableism, and on the other there's the best friends squad in which Entrapta was never included despite all the time she spent with them - and for the most part it felt like Entrapta wasn't actually with them, that she's all by herself on her own mission, just a crewmember and not a part of the team. She spends the whole season around people she's not really closed to and they never become closer even after their many adventures together. It makes Entrapta's interest in Darla even more understandable, but also sad. It lowkey feels like a character regression to me, but it's just my opinion.

One thing I wish would happen / had happened with this character in canon: ooh i wish so many things had happened in canon. Like an actual scene of Entrapta finding the luvd crystal, or her reunion with Scorpia and Emily (and Imp!), or her still having some conflicting feelings towards Hordak - since she was feeling conficted back on Beast Island and there was no one who could tell her that Hordak was lied to and didn't know about her exile

But what would I want to see the most is Entrapta actually being allowed to be angry at Catra for what she did to her. Yes Entrapta forgives her, it's fine it's her choice, but at least let her be upset!! Let her being sent to die not be treated like a joke/just an inconvenience and sidelined by more Catra angst. That scene where Catra and Entrapta finally meet and Catra apologizes to her was once again about her own feelings only and never about Entrapta's. Even though Beast Island was this huge traumatic experience for her! She was willing to die there, give in to the signal because she felt like she was the problem and all her relationships failed because of her EVEN THOUGH she was literally betrayed by Catra and left behind yet again and gfphifphpg

I'm ranting at this point so I'll shut up now. In short, yeah, would be nice if Entrapta was allowed to feel upset, even if just for a moment

a headcanon fact: she bites and she bites HARD. Entrapta has many chewing toys/medallions but they usually don't last long. On rare occasions when she feels an urge to bite (usually when she's stressed/annoyed or in a deep thinking process) and her hands are unprotected she might bite her own palm and fingers. But nowdays her favorite target is Hordak)) No matter if she's excited or angry or anxious or bored - if Hordak is at arm's lenght from her Entrapta will gently nom on his ears, arms, shoulders or thighs. Hordak doesn't feel any pain or serious discomfort, but getting used to it was not easy, cause sometimes Entrapta warns him and sometimes it happenes unexpectedly :p

The Results of My Night Court re-watch (More Larroquette gushing)

Hey folks! I'm back with a (final?) update on my Night Court re-watch. I know you were waiting with bated breath to see how it turned out. /sarcasm

I managed to knock out all 9 seasons on Freevee in about 2.5 weeks, and it was a nice little trip down memory lane combined with some new episodes that I didn't remember at all. Not that I'm complaining. I liken it to finding a couple of extra french fries you missed at the bottom of your McDonald's takeaway bag. Technically, they were always there, but hey, they're new to you, right?

Anyway, while I was watching, I kept a tally of my favorite episodes over the 9 seasons, with a special focus on the one and only Mr. Larroquette. Since he was the reason I was re-watching the show, it made sense that my list of faves heavily favored him. (The overall list also favored Roz, surprisingly. I liked her character the first time I watched the show, but I don't think I appreciated how much character development they gave her for the era this TV show appeared in. But that's a different conversation.)

So I thought I'd share my final results of my re-watch for anyone who hasn't seen the show and wants to, but they're really only watching for the awesome-ness that is John Larroquette.

Although I don't encourage you to only find joy in John's performance (because everyone is quite good and the show was well-written for the majority of the time it was on the air), this is just in case you're someone who would say: "But I only want to see the best of Dan Fielding, so what episodes do you think I should watch?"

Here is that list ... in 2 parts.

Part 1 focuses on Larroquette's dramatic skill as an actor. Sure, we all know he is talented as hell, but I think what really stood out to me was how well he could deliver a great monologue or manage to wrench empathy from you even when Dan was being completely abhorrent.

John will probably always be known for his comedic skill -- covered in Part 2, but you will note that my list for his top dramatic episodes is much longer. And I think that says something.

So without further ado ...

The "Dramatic Chops" list includes episodes I think give the audience a chance to see the depth of Dan's character beyond the constantly wheeling and dealing, sex-obsessed scoundrel he appears to be on the surface. We not only get to see Larroquette show that there's more to Dan than the image he projects, but it also allows the character to grow a little, proving that he is indeed capable of growth.

The "Comedic Chops" list is pretty much what you would think. These are episodes that I think really showcase how great Larroquette is at comedy. I mean, pretty much the entire series is a showcase of that, but these episodes really stand out as a cut above the rest. In short, if someone said they didn't find John particularly funny, I would use this list to support my argument that he has a gift for comedy.

Hurricane, Pt. 1 & 2 (s3, ep21 & 22) -> A childbirth class is stranded in court & goes into labor all at the same time

Earthquake (s4, ep9) -> Dan is trapped in an elevator with Roz & 2 wrestlers

A Day in the Life (s4, ep15) -> The team must clear 200 cases before midnight

Passion Plundered (s7, e11) -> Dan and Harry compete for the attention of a romance novelist

A Night Court at the Opera (s8, ep9) -> Dan tries to seduce Harry's girlfriend

Guess Who's Listening to Dinner (s9, ep6) -> Dan dates a mob boss' daughter

And this, just for the helluva it, is my list of what I think are the best overall episodes featuring Dan or where his contribution to the ensemble definitely made the episode a winner overall.

Dan's Escort (s3, ep12) -> Dan works as an escort & receives an indecent proposal

Dan's Operation, Pt. 2 (s4, ep6) -> Dan comes out of a coma & admits why he's afraid of turning 40 (This has one of my favorite scenes John has ever done on the show. If you've seen the episode, you know the one.)

No Hard Feelings (s5, ep8) -> Dan turns down a high-powered job where sexual favors are expected (When he stands up for himself, rattles off his career record, and insists he deserves more than to be someone's boy toy, you will want to rewind & watch it over and over again.)

The Law Club (s6, e7) -> Dan gives up joining an exclusive law club to save Christine from a creep

Strange Bedfellows (s6, ep17) -> Dan falls for Joan, his electoral opponent / Dan finds real love (I really loved this episode and was sad that we never see or hear from her again.)

To Sleep, No More (s8, ep19) -> Dan's insomnia gets the better of him and his conscience (The scene at the podium was both hilarious and heartbreaking in equal measure. You just want to give him a hug by the end.)

Hurricane, Pt. 2 (s3, ep22) -> A childbirth class is stranded in court & goes into labor all at the same time

Earthquake (s4, ep9) -> Dan is trapped in an elevator with Roz & 2 wrestlers (His fear of confined spaces is really well played. The perfect balance between humor and pathos.)

A Night Court at the Opera (s8, ep9) -> Dan tries to seduce Harry's girlfriend (John just stole this whole episode. It's easily one of his best performances in the entire run of the series.)

Guess Who's Listening to Dinner (s9, ep6) -> Dan dates a mob boss' daughter (The physical comedy throughout this episode was just hilarious!)

Idk like it's been over 10 years since the end of the show but Malia and Scott are still weird around each other? What happened? No mention of Kira? Liam and Scott didn't interact at all? A lot of unanswered questions. I'd watch it again for Eli and Derek but overall, it's fine.

e1: -oh my god i was so hyped for this ep yet completely forgot it starts with mattia and gunther's lunch date LMAO -'we like to think of this a documentary' 'its not a documentary' see if yall just LISTEN to toto you could be having some fun here -red mercedes rollhoop was so UGLY at least it looks better against the black now but i cant stop thinkin abt it when i see the car -also seb looks so fluffy. miss him need him etc etc -if max doesnt interview for next season i'll be So Upset i love him sm -LOVE the kevin return he deserves it SO MUCh -damn they rly set ferrari up here. starting with the highs so the lows hit correctly later. damn -LOVE every alex cameo hi baby :) -LISTEN. the first race i ever watched in full was bahrain 2022. i knew max won the championship, but i didnt know any of the details of the races, and i think this was such a GREAT start for me. the max&charles backnforth, the last minute max dnf, checo dnf in final lap had me GAGGED i'm so glad dts gave it justice. this race has such a special place in my heart -also red bulls don't have mechanical dnfs like they used to!!!! bring this back!!!!

e2: -unfortunately dts does charm u to like toto. he is charming. i am charmed. sorry -pre-fluffy hair george is a jumpscare honestly -lewis wont have to remember the full mercedes team name next year :/ -seeing old pre season testing is making me INSANE its so close i need it NOW -i forgot how widespread the porpoising problem was at the start. i know mercedes struggled the longest but it really seems like a legitimate oversight regulations wise if it happened to EVERYONE -'you cant overstate how much trouble mercedes are in' cut to them in THIRD in the rankings god even when they're flopping theyre on top thats how iconic they are~ -HI SAM COLLINS -the way they just let the bouncing cockpitcams play in silence is so effective. makes me wince. poor bb. -unrelated but i cannot even look at baku turn one without thinking abt the f2 pileup there last year. like 6 dnfs at once insane. anyway -HI ROSS BRAWN -this whole team principal meeting is so goofy and staged as fuck. parent teacher association core -silverstone is simply a banger of a track sorry. not overrated, perfectly rated actually -if dts is good for anything its good for these slow motion shots. the way the roll hoop just disintigrated is insane -so i've noted in previous season they've done a good job of setting up background info before big moments. i think they really dropped the ball here and should've introduced guanyu before the crash. not a big amount, just a lil bit would've done WONDERS -i will say, in the grosjean episode there was this talk abt how he wanted to walk to the ambulance to show he was ok. from a medical perspective that is such a bad fucking idea. it looks scary but i'm glad zhou and the medical team got him outta there on a brace like that. turned out not to be necessary but rly could've been -I LOVE U FORMULA 1 MEDICAL TEAMS BTW -i know merc are bitching but i do think back to grid starter order was the right call. sorry lewis ily -every time i get worried abt ferrari's history with pit fuckups for lewis i need to remind myself that mercedes is just as bad lmao -"i think lewis will win" i dont EVER wanna see anyone saying britcedes dont love eachother britcedes antis dni unfollow me i hate you -THROUGH GOES HAMILTON UNBELIEVABLE STUFF -the lil trick they pull.....the ~ferrari~ wins the british grand prix...... so they can rehash this all again from a carlos v charles angle next episode...... i see u

After longing for Sebastian for so long, he finally makes the first move at a surprise party in his honour.

Ever since the first day you had walked into that Red Bull office you had been the centre of attention, a young beautiful woman with a smile on her lips and confidence on her hips, everbody adored you, lusted after you, longed for you and you knew that. However there was only one man in the entire factory that you felt that way about, and that man was Sebastian Vettel, but he didn't feel the same way about you. His eyes never lingered like those of your colleagues, his head never turned when you walked past him and he hadn't once tried to make a pass at you. Is this what made you like him so much? You always had loved the chase. You had never told Seb about your feelings, you hadn't tried to hide them either, but you were certain that he could tell.

"Yo Y/N!" You heard Mark, Sebastians team mate, call from behind you, you turned to talk to him, "We're throwing a surprise party for Sebastians Birthday tonight tell me you're coming"

"Hmm how charming, a last minute invite" you chuckled to him. "No it's not like that, its a last minute decision" Mark stammered, a blush rising to his cheeks. "I'm kidding" you smiled placing a hand on his bicep, "of course I'll be there" You walked away from Mark, feeling his eyes burning into your back as he watched you walk away. Why couldn't Sebastian look at you like that?

Later that night your taxi pulled up outside the venue and you headed inside you were greeted by stares and gulps from your coworkers, this was the first time they had seen you out of your mechanic overalls or jeans on race weekends. You had on a deep blue dress that fell just below your butt, a plunging neckline that showed off your cleavage just the right amount and the fabric hugged your curves tightly, so tightly that even the tiniest of thongs would have shown through, so you opted not to wear one tonight. You strutted up to the bar and ordered yourself a drink, "I've got this one" one of your colleagues said paying for your drink. You smiled at him before finding a comfortable stool to sit at the end of the bar. "They're here!" You heard shushed voices flood through the room, everyone sat waiting patiently listening to Seb and Mark's voices get louder as they approached the room, Sebastian pushed open the door, "SURPRISE!" everyone yelled making him jump, "for me? You shouldn't have" Seb grinned coming into the room. You couldn't help but stare, taking in every single inch of him, he stood tall in figure hugging black trousers and a white shirt, unbuttoned a little showing off top of his chest, clinging to his muscles, his blonde hair tousled perfectly on top of his head. "Hey Y/N, glad you could make it" Marks voice broke you out of your trance. You nodded at him, taking a sip of your drink, eyes still locked on Sebastian, "why don't you just shoot your shot Y/N?" Mark questioned, following your gaze to confirm his suspicions.

"Not going to happen, I never make the first move" you scoffed. Mark just rolled his eyes, grabbed his drink and went to socialise with the other party goers. You intermittently watched as Sebastian mingled with his friends, spending the rest of your time scrolling through your phone. "Vodka Soda?" You heard his thick accent call out from beside you. You glanced up from your phone to see Sebastian pointing at your drink, you nodded and took the last sip sliding your glass down the bar, "2 vodka sodas" he said to the barman before turning back to you, "May I say, you look amazing tonight, it's so different seeing you out of the garage" he said trailing his eyes down your body, giving you the lingering look you had always hoped for, a gentle blush coming onto your face, "What can I say? I did my best for you" you smirked at him. Seb shifted awkwardly on his feet as the bartender passed over your drinks. "Well I very much appreciate it" he said resting his hand on your exposed thigh, you glanced around the room quickly, "Don't worry about them, everybody is far to drunk to know what's happening around them" Seb chuckled looking around the room. He nudged your legs apart with his and slid his body between your knees. You gasped slightly, you had pained for Sebastian to make a move for so long and now that it seemed that he was you didn't know how to react, "Sebastian," you muttered.

"Don't play games with me Y/N" he said sternly leaning into your ear, "you think I don't notice your stares, your flirting?" His warm breath stinging against your skin

"I didn't think you we're interested" you stuttered. "Well stop thinking" he said, he planted his lips on yours roughly. At first his kiss took you by surprise but you quickly leaned into it, kissing him back as you bit at his bottom lip. Sebastians hand trailed up your thigh and under your dress, his muscular frame blocking everything from the view of any potential onlookers. He nestled his face in your neck, kissing and sucking at the delicate skin, his hand ran further up your leg and over your bare pussy. "Are you not wearing underwear right now?" Seb chuckled into your neck. "Erm no.." you blushed "come with me right now" he said standing up from you taking your hand, you followed Seb out of the main function room and down a hallway, he glanced around before pulling you into a small storage cupboard. S6 EP20: cas doing a double smite on two demons by slamming them to the ground and then shoving another demon back in its vessel and then smiting him in the same motion. TOP. ENERGY.

S6 EP22: season 6 is possibly cas’ horniest season because he’s like, going through angel puberty after getting his first boner for dean, but the final cas eps are. whoof. cas eats a bunch of souls and proclaims himself to be a new god in order to handle said boner, and then the season ends with cas telling them to bow down and profess their love to him, their new lord, or he will destroy them. note: the way this is framed makes it look like cas is only staring at dean while he says this, even though sam and bobby are also there. the season ends with dramatic zooms on both cas and dean’s faces respectively. this made me actively regret ditching this show after s5 lol

S8 EP??: literally EVERY SINGLE PURGATORY FLASHBACK. cas dean and benny are all purgatory hot in the “pop 10 cranberry pills and risk the UTI” kind of way but also. dean being the hot girl bottom between two tops who hate each other. I really. whew. I need to go take a shower.

For people who have made it to the finale of S5 and read the interviews, you may hear the producers say about Alex's death, "All season in the writer's room, we talked about how we needed to show that victory comes at a cost." This makes it sound like they always intended to kill Alex. But they didn't. And photos Amazon accidentally put up online prove it.

Due to terrible actions by C*s *nvar (if you don't know, read here) they made major changes to the end of the season. They could have chosen to run it as it was and write him out of S6 but instead they chose a way to keep the actor from ever returning. I respect it from a business standpoint but am sad about from a character standpoint.

There was a tiny bit of reshoot and a whole lot of CGI. Stills from the original version of the episode were in Amazon's "X-Ray" section for a few hours after the episode release, and a Redditor grabbed two before they took them down.

Notice that Alex is finally wearing a flight suit with a Rocinante badge? I will be forever angry that because one actor was such a shit in real life we did not get this scene. Looking at this shot makes me miss Alex terribly. (Not the actor. The character.)

The re-shot reunion:

It's not clear to me how much of this was re-shot and how much of it was editing, CGI and redubbing of dialogue.

Next, the cocktail party. Avasarala's condolences to Bobbie about Alex's death were noticeably dubbed, and the Roci crew did not have an air that they were still grieving a bit. That's because the scene had been shot with Alex in it, and they CGId him out. (Larger image here.)

See him there in the left hand chair? In the final version of the scene, Amos is sitting far away from the rest of his remaining crew for no reason. Removing Alex messes up the composition. This also explains why Avasarala gestures to the seat grouping while saying, "This is what Marco is afraid of, Earthers, Martians and Belters working together." Originally, Alex was there.

I understand that for PR reasons they were trying to gloss over this, but it was pretty obvious even without these shots that Alex's death was decided after the show was filmed.

In order to deliver on this, they will need to add a Martian (Bobbie, most likely) to the crew next season. Otherwise it's Jim, Amos, Bull, Clarissa and Naomi...so 5 Earthers and a Belter.

huhuhuhuhuhu i can finally share my finale theory with all of you

so there’s a scene in the trailer we haven’t seen yet, and I think it’s the only scene we have yet to see. Holden’s on the Roci, and he says to Bull “they wanted a fight, we’ll give them one”. i used the quote on my S5 character gifset way back when, so it’s been on my mind

Drummer has been tasked with killing Holden, which she doesn’t want to do because Naomi loves him and she loves Naomi and that is Naomi’s home. Also because like Holden is kind of an invaluable ally so like it wouldn’t do her much good to kill him, but it would protect her family from Marco’s wrath. So what can she do to both a) appease Marco b) protect ger family and c) help Naomi’s family?

I think Drummer is going to clue Holden in, and they’re going to work together. If she can make it look like she tried to follow Marco’s orders, but lost, Marco would be hard pressed to punish her. It’s not like Holden is incapable of coming out of a fight like that alive. Especially if the two ships sent to help them are also destroyed, or something happens to Karal/with Karal that keeps her from finding out or reporting back.

Even if the trick fails, she can count on Holden’s ally-ship if she helps him, and it allows her to come back into the fold of whatever coalition if banded together to stop Marco or whatever.

Either way, her best chance of saving Naomi, and saving her family is to work with Holden to make it look like the fight was a lost cause. And I think that’s what Holden’s talking about, a show fight to make Marco think Drummer followed orders.

So we shall see. I don’t know what’s going to happen, this theory has just been on my mind a while and I usually don’t speculate for fear of being wrong or letting myself down with my expectations.

But I’ve been dying to see Drummer and Holden work together again. They’re so alike and their dynamic is so funny and I would really like to see them work together instead of against each other, or pit against each other because of what connects them AND what separates them. EDIT: I also just remembered how they keep telling Holden they can’t take on more than a few Free Navy ships with the fuel/weapons they have left.......... which means he might need help...... and help from the inside...... what i’m saying is Holden would need Drummer’s help as much as Drummer would need his.

I have to say I totally agree with your previous Anon about trying to make one or other of Klaine the female of the relationship. For some stupid reason, that’s how the show tried to play it season 3, when they tried to make Blaine alpha gay, but finally stopped in season 4

This also extends to fan fiction, I get a bit peeved where they try and create one or other Mmmas the male of the relationship, usually Kurt. When he has all these qualities and interests which people try and say are specifically masculine when it’s just bull shit. People are just hanging onto old archaic ideas of what male/female should be, or certainly taking us back to the 1950’s.

Mhmmmmm. They really amped it up in s3 which just adds to my hatred for that season lmao. And then people flipped the script so quick in s5 literally just bc Kurt was sleeveless and Blaine was emotional lmao. That's really all it takes to decide who's the girl and who's the guy

I mean I've said it before but imagine if people talked about Brittana the same way? Brittany is taller and also does motocross which is a Boy activity which makes Brittany the boy, which makes her the top at all times. BUT later on it turns out Santana was a tomboy and wanted to be a boy for Halloween. Which makes her butch which makes her the boy which makes her the top. That's how it works, right??

More musings on S6/7, Bellarke style.

I have some predictions here -> x but I wanted to make a longer musings post

So to start, here’s the big one - after season 5, the season s6 writers and JRoth knew they were getting a s7 and that that would be the end. So unlike almost every season, TWO seasons were in mind when writing. Therefore, I think it’s important to treat S6 & 7 like one season.

Ok so what does that mean?

Every single season has been about saving “our people.” S1 was from the grounders, S2 was Mt Weather, S3 was ALIE, S4 was from nuclear meltdown #2, S5 was getting everyone to the valley. What was season 6 about? Bellamy Blake saving “my PERSON.” The entire season was dedicated to saving Clarke with “our people” as the sub-plot, NOT the driving plot.

So what is s7 going to be about? Saving Bellamy. Saving Clarke’s “person.”

Is Clarke going? Of course she’s going. Was that even a real question?

Now I know we all got mad at JRoth last season when he gave us that bulls!@# about Bellamy saving everyone by saving Clarke. I already broke down here -> x why that’s a bunch of BS. I don’t think JRoth was being JRoth. I think he was purposely lying (or whatever kinder word you want to use) in order to throw us off. Because what he says almost never matches up to the reality on screen... and then somehow thinks he’s pulled this big surprise on us (🙄). Whatever. Moving on.

However, there is one thing that has ALWAYS been true of JRoth: Clarke and Bellamy are the core dynamic on the show. No matter how you think they love each other, it is their bond and their dynamic that have ALWAYS driven the plot. So how better to end the series - that was all about saving “our people” - than to have the two people who always tried to save everyone, save each other? One last epic Bellarke arc where they traverse time, space, and even conquer death to save each other.

Bellamy was finally allowed to be selfish last season and say that Clarke Griffin was the most important person to him. Jordan, Josie, and others explicitly called him out on it. Clarke is the most important person to him and it was proven last season.

This season, it’s going to be the opposite. Clarke is going to sacrifice everything to get back Bellamy Blake. (Note: there is a complication here of Clarke having a kid but the S6 & 7 writers couldn’t really do anything about that. So we’re just going to hand wave and pretend that Clarke thinks Madi is perfectly safe at home with Gaia, Indra, and Picasso.)

We’ve already seen the setup to this over the last season. How it’s going to play out, I’m not sure, but I do firmly believe that this is epic Bellarke territory and we’re getting closer and closer to these two space idiots admitting their love for each other. Everyone else - and I mean LITERALLY everyone else (save Echo) - has called them out on it.

But Clarke and Bellamy are the key to winning the war and I’m not sure why (yet) but it has something to do with them together.
