Bellatrix's personality sort of reminds me that of a bull snake
Does it? Hmmm. I might see some...overlap.

Baby bull snake I removed from a 6ft window well earlier this year. He tried his Best™ to get out. Luckily a landscaper saw him and notified the home owner who called us for help. He was released in a nearby open space.

Bucky: “Mouse? No mouse, just mom. 😪” He always rests his head on the cork bark like this and it is absolutely the cutest thing on this planet.

My good boy 🥺🧡
His 4x2x2 enclosure has been sitting in the box for over a month now... I’ve been waiting for the stand to arrive. :/ Starting to get really annoyed and anxious to upgrade him already. (I can’t set it up without the stand bc it’ll be too heavy to lift) ughhhh. Supposedly it should arrive early August but I’m not getting my hopes up.

Snake update! The cat is locked in a different room so the big girl gets to explore! She’s grumpin at me though because I won’t let her explore under the furniture.

Someone back in my home state asked what kind of snake was in her photo. People said Copperhead because they're common in Missouri, but they're red in color usually. Unfortunately, she had killed it... I'm 99 percent sure it was a bull snake. They're harmless, nonvenomous, and sassy. It was a baby, too. It's a bummer...

Lambo's a good boy. I'm handling him out of his defensive habits slowly. I love how he feels and hope thick he is compared to some of my other sneks.
Unfortunately, he doesn't like showing his face! All the same, I have faith that he'll grow into a lovely educational snake.

Snek Haul
Alright, so all three of my babies came in today!
The bull snake is named Lambo and is a real sweetie although he looks perpetually angry.
I love him. He's big too! Only a couple months old and as large as my year old corn.
Next up are my happy couple, Mukuro and Arveria. They are both caramels and het for scaleless and amelanistic.
First up is Mukuro.
He's a sassy boy who doesn't like being held and throws a fit if you touch him. He's also the more brightly colored of the pair. I love him. He's soft and calmed down after several minutes. But he still would throw a tantrum again if I accidentally touched him.
If this boy isn't Mukuro, I don't know what snake will be.
Next is Arveria.
I didn't get any pictures while being handled, but she's super sweet. Didn't thrash or rattle. She started exploring immediately and was at most cautious and taking it slow. Very gentle girl.
So that's who came in today and finishes my snake season! They're all very good. I look forward to getting to know them and watching them grow.

Everyone, meet Lambo. This is a bull snake I'm getting next week for education purposes.
I'm super excited as I've had a hard time finding a normal baby bull! It will be exciting to get to know him.
Well, this is it for probably a year or two. May get a garter next year, but that's a big maybe. With the weather turning here, snake buying season is coming to a close. I'm still hoping to get to a Repticon soon.

Both of these babes are possibly het for hypo, axanthic, and patternless, so this will be a really fun project when the time comes :)
