List of changes I wasn't prepared for when I started passing as a man after transitioning:
you smell a lot worse and get stinky quicker
animals start liking you less, especially rescues
other men will treat you vastly different, even queer men for better or worse
it becomes awkward to talk about afab issues such as abortion and menstruation
you have to change basically everything when it comes to interacting with women. for example: if you and a woman are walking the same direction, you have to change the way you walk as she sees you as a man who could hurt her
people (especially women) will move over for you on the sidewalk
people listen more to what you request (I've especially noticed this with hairdressers/barbers)
you get angry REALLY easily and are much more aggressive, one time I got so mad I got a pressure in my hands that I felt wouldn't alleviate unless I hit something, it was honestly terrifying
you may gain a sudden affinity for basketball shorts and adidas slides with socks (you must resist it)
feeling out of place in the lgbtq+ community if you're straight despite being trans

Ok here's some sleep deprived thoughts you are welcome
1. Are osurucho and the rebellion/codes related?
They both have the ability of infecting people. 4ever was infected in the nether and Charlie was infected by exposure to a code.
The infections differ tho slightly, so far 4ever has been completly taken over by the infection and the code infection can only take over Charlie for short amounts of time. They also differ in appearance, with 4evers being black and Charlie's having code bits in them.
2. Speaking of which, does this make THE EYE THING connected to osurucho and rebellion/codes?
when the fed worker travelled to purgatory, it also got infected with the black stuff simarly to 4ever.
The fed worker who got infected with black stuff after travelling to purgatory has now got bits of green code in its infection, suggesting a direct correlation between at least two of these things, purgatory eye and the codes.
3. What is causing the black concrete? One of the three or all?
my previous thought was the codes because for example a lot appeared around Charlie's house when code flippa came. But when the eggs got taken, chay and llulahs messages for phil appeared around a lot of black concrete.
The rebellion have been also asking the members to investigate huge structures of black concrete. Does this mean that they didn't create it? Or is this just because I'm pretty sure they mentioned the codes are unruly and hard to handle so the codes could have created it.
4. If Fit is getting infected because of removing the black concrete with Phil, why isn't he infected already since it was a while ago?
are they both somehow immune?
Do the glitches Fit is getting mean that the infection is inside him or is it something to do with his rediscovering memory OR something else entirely?

Tidbit Tuesday
I was tagged by @echo-bleu to share a bit, thanks!
I don't have much fully written right now that I haven't just posted, so here's the bullet points from a so far untitled wip, which will likely be a one-shot, in which Sauron gets a redemption arc and encounters Finrod and a newly re embodied Celebrimbor!
Sauron gets a redemption arc in Valinor.
The valar kept it secret for various mostly good reasons. One day he is finally allowed to wander Valinor and be in public again.
Through an unfortunate coincidence, Celebrimbor was re embodied earlier that week.
Celebrimbor and Finrod are walking around Tirion, Celebrimbor is so happy to be back + wanted to see everything.
He’s a bit overwhelmed because he’s fresh out of the halls but didn’t want to wait. He was home again.
They encounter Sauron, and Finrod throws himself in front of Celebrimbor to protect him without a second thought, defensive song on his lips in a second, shielding Celebrimbor.
He ***will*** protect his nephew.
Sauron immediately, purely by instinct, responds and summons spells and by jumping into a fighting stance too… but only for a moment.
He remembers where he is, that he is trying to do better and Finrod has only responded this way out of fear and to protect one he hurt so much.
Even though Finrod was hurt by him too.
Sauron relaxes and raises his hands first, not in spell. But surrender.
What will Finrod do? Well, that's half of what I have for that one shot and this is a tidbit ask, so I'm afraid you'll have to wait! I'm not sure when I'll get around to writing this, but I've been taking longer breaks between rounds of chapters for my big project; Be He Foe or Friend, my silm cyoa fic, so maybe this by late spring or summer! (I am not pl*nning, I shall not bring down that curse upon my head 😅😂)

If you start to pay attention to other espers he's gone cold, the others don't know why-*cough* jealously *cough*
Freddy is sitting at level 20 kinda jealous watching his friend be sent out for constant missions lmao
In the AU where the player is a esper that has all the powers of the player(ie. giving them strength, powerful items, taking them out on missions,etc.)he won't say it but he's basically your bodyguard now
You helped him and he isn't the hugest fan of debt even though this situation wouldn't really be considered debt in your eyes
Congratulations, the possibility of death for you has greatly decreased

the days are getting shorter, and the nights seem to go on and on -- forever. still, you don't seem to find the comfort you always did, atleast since the last three years. this christmas, things look different, especially with you and jihoon.
he had told you he will be home by dinner. and even though you had no expectations for him to do so, you had hoped he would. still, he didn't. it was around 1 am when the front door had clicked open and your boyfriend had dragged himself inside with heavy eyes and a head hanging low. you had took him in your arms and tucked him to sleep, not thinking much about it and him breaking his promise. it was for the first time he did it, after all.
first turned to second and second turned to third. it kept on going on. nowadays you ate alone and slept alone, the only time you remember is that whenever he tucks himself in, he kisses you on the forehead. atleast that action of his gave you hope that things won't go downhill -- that things can get better.
you might be a fool. a completely, gone fool for a man who doesn't even care to look towards you, despite staying with you. atleast when you are not lucid. the day starts with him already up by the time you wake up, bustling around the kitchen in haste. he makes you breakfast, yes he does. he kisses you goodbye -- just a peck, and goes out the door before you can even get ready for the day. after that you directly meet him in your dreams, when a chaste kiss is left on your forehead and a soft warmth engulfs you after midnight.
maybe jihoon is ignorant or just too tired to notice the ever staying tear stains on your pillow cover, on your blankets and on your face if he ever saw it.
you don't think you could ever feel this much. you didn't know a human heart had the capacity to break to this extent. but yours did the night of your birthday. yours did the night of your three year anniversary with him. your heart cried the fourth week you slept alone, a gift for him on the bedside drawer with the note happy birthday, my love stuck to it.
it's as if you were living in a stagnant pond, no waves, no movement. just the occasional ripples of emotions and weeds growing which pulled you down. maybe he has someone else? no. don't hurt yourself more. maybe he didn't love you anymore? maybe he didn't feel as strongly as he did before? or maybe he will be himself again after the comeback? maybe he will come back to you and give you his smile again? maybe? maybe...
maybe is a scary word. maybe, is the most heartbreaking word. because you never know the probability of the event. in maths you had learned how to find out the probability of a possible outcome. but in life, you know no outcome. the comeback flew by. the days bled into night. but things, they still didn't change. at this point, you think even your tears have exhausted. it's as if you feel nothing anymore. just a shell of a person, who once had an undying flame burning for him, but now the flame is threatening to die, threatening to engulf the heart with gnawing darkness. scary darkness.
you stop using the word maybe. now you know the outcome. and maybe (again) you were scared, uncertain before. but now you are not. the flame has almost died and the coldness is seeping into each and every crevice of your shell of a body, shell of a heart.
they say feelings, emotions are what differentiates a human from a robot. like a robot, you know how feelings work. you know how deadly they can become when they have no outlet and only a closed system to eat at, to decay in, or worse -- to grow in.
the house is as dark as your mind and you don't think you can take it anymore. your limit is exhausted, you are exhausted, your love for him ... has not yet exhausted, but you hope at some point it does. because the heartache is real. so, that night you make some calls, get some people to help you, pack some necessities, and wait for jihoon to come back home.
he returns just a minute before the clock strikes 3 am. his head is again, hung low, eyes heavy, and feet sludgy. he reeks of what you immediately realise as alcohol and your heart sinks deeper. your boyfriend doesn't drink. why is he drunk?
but you don't think much about that. you have stopped thinking. you only act on instinct nowadays. so when jihoon looks up, and registers your presence, registers that you are still awake with wide eyes and maybe ... a smile in his longing eyes, you break his eyes by saying the first, and the only thing that comes to your mind -
"i think we should take a break."

There are some times where you really just don't wanna go on. Like, genuinely. It's kinda tragic, but it makes sense considering the times we're in.
A few weeks back, I made myself a google document with all my reasons to stay alive. Every time I remember, or I have a moment with my friends, or I watch a video, or I see a quote in a book or a song or ANYTHING, I just type it up in there.
It's got the most random stuff, including but definitely not limited to:
The taste of tortilla chips, I like them so so much - point 9
Rebel Detectives (악동탐정스) Season 1 & 2, my sister and I have rewatched this show every year for the past two or three years - point 14
Candles, they smell nice and i like watching the flame flicker - point 23

Nick And Jareth play reading
Nick is basically a semi-closeted nerd, and I always thought Jareth (being the romantic he is) would probably also read lots of old romance novels, plays, poetry, you name it.
This is just a headcanon/bulleted list abt them being theater nerds :3c
Nick loves old plays and literature, an interest both he and Jareth share, and a good chunk of Nick’s time spent in The Underground is delving into the truly massive library in the goblin castle. If Nick is staying overnight, he and Jareth will usually spend the evening after dinner reading.
It started originally as then reading excerpts out to each other, Nick putting on voices for each character’s dialogue (as he used to do when reading his daughter bedtime stories,) and Jareth deeper silken voice smoothing over difficult prose without stumbling over any words. Both of them were fascinated by how the other articulated writing, so when Nicholas picked up “A Midsummer Night’s Dream” for the countless time before bed, Jareth leaned his chin on his shoulder and requested if he could read Oberon’s lines.
Jareth made an impressive Oberon, as he is a fae king himself, Nick enjoying to play Bottom and Puck- making Jareth chuckle and laugh against his shoulder as he made his voice squeak. Nick also liked how Jareth’s voice would get ragged and tired the more and more they read…it was something more genuine about him…
They could never make it through the entire play, both of them falling sleep against each other with the candle still lit and the book in Nick’s hand. But one evening after dinner, both of them being a bit tipsy, Nick asked if he would read Macbeth with him. Jareth smirking and insisting he play the titular character himself…which Nick refused.
What ended up ensuing was a loud passionate reading that probably woke up every servant in the castle. Both of them acting their silly little hearts out and drinking more wine. Jareth doubled over in laughter as Nick reads the Porter monologue, and Nick bringing up real tears upon hearing the death of Lady Macbeth (to which Jareth stopped in concern to comfort him, almost crying himself.)
When it was over, they concluded that it was such a good time that they should try it again sometime.
They started meeting in one of the many castle gardens, at first just reading, but even getting costumes and props involved as well. And soon it was basically a two man performance that any goblin or servant could enjoy (though secretly, as it was something Nick was embarrassed about). Though it was a bit strange seeing a strange LARPing session from the man who would make the world into whatever he wishes.
Though sometimes, during more romantic scenes or plays, Nick finds himself stumbling over the words as Jareth’s eyes burn right into his- filled with ceaseless adoration and desire, enamored and almost unblinking. Poor Nick is sometimes too flustered and shy to say anything, but many times he doesn’t have to…because Jareth will practically toss the book and pull him into an impassioned kiss.
Nick has many times been squeezed against a tree or wall, Jareth’s gloves hands smoothing up and down his waist as he relishes the taste of Nick’s lips and skin, sometimes still even whispering lines of the play in his ear…teasing him to continue the script when Nick can hardly put a sentence together in his dizzied fervor.
All in all, play reading is something both Nick and Jareth enjoy

Headcanons and ideas for a ATLA X OP crossover aka bending pirates.
Ok first Luffy won being the avatar by the only virtue of being the protagonist, and the fact I was between two elements and could not decide which idea I liked more.
Others characters I thought for the role even if momentarily were: Ussop, Ace, Law, Shirahoshi, Nami, and Yamato. The explanation varies a lot between “the potential for either surprise and realized potential” to “idgaf these seem cool” Ussop is both.
Like I wanted to say that Ussop would be a great avatar but alas not in this version. But if someone want to brainstorm avatar Ussop please do.
Ok, so everyone assumed Luffy is an earth bender, he grew up in a predominantly earth bender place and Dragon is one (I have not decided if Garp is one or if he is a non-bender)
Luffy sucks at earth bending tho, mostly he just used for fidgeting, levitating a few peddles. does not rely in it for fighting, as always, his fits are all he needs.
Little does everyone know, let alone Luffy, that the first element he mastered was air. He is SOOO good at air bending that he has 0 idea he is using it. Like sure, his falls always got a little slower down and Nami could swear that when he got exited the ship seemed to go a little bit faster.
Like you know that nice sleepy breeze on the afternoon? Yeah Luffy invoke it every time without noticing.
I especially head canon this cause Luffy remind me of both tarot cards of “the fool” and “the word” and his carefree but somehow connected attitude is a cool dialogue with the earthy and spiritual connections and freedom to attachment the air nomads remind me of.
But you know…cause of freedom.
Ok so Zoro is either a non-bender or an earth ender.
Nami is a water bending but did not know until already being established in the crew.
Ussop was a difficult one to pinpoint, but I decided earth and can metal bend.
Sanji either fire or non-bender, maybe his family can all fire bend except him or all his brothers can each control an element. I can imagine Judge trying to create an artificial avatar and ending with quadruplets.
Maybe an spirit(?) a very very young one. If he had the capacity to bend he would be a water bender but come on.
Robin is a non bender. Guys she would be to powerful. ( or we could think how the government villainize her for being a fire bender that would be cool too)
Franky and brook non benders
Oh, I wonder what Jinbei might be. Yeah, the guy who canonicly controls water by using martial arts? Geez I wonder what parallel between the avatar power system we could use to pin him down?
The point is Everyone was surprise when Luffy used fire bending for the first time. Like the implications when off the charts!
You mean that Luffy has controlled a second element? But that would mean he is the avatar? And sure he is a miracle worker but this? Surely someone would have to notice that was something he could do?
Not even his brothers? Both of them being able to fire bend? Surely Luffy would have pick up something of that up? Well no
Luffy being the avatar is his Gear five revelation btw
I could go to a rant about how water is the element of healing and change, how this change is the result of lost, how community is important in the water tribes. And how is the element that In Atla we seem to have the greatest possibilities. Also ice /cold coded but but but… come on! the dude is named water of course Law is a water bender I would not even bother.
Doffy taught him how to blood bend :) Is Doffy even a water bender?
Returning to Luffy his fire burn to bright that it is white. Also, the little shit. DO.NOT.BURN. no body knows how he does that, but new fireproof avatar technique unlocked.
Robin theory is Luffy is so good at air bending that he even if not concius about it, he controls the manner of how the fire is being feed by the air around it and that also why it seems to burn so bright.
She has not said it out loud, nobody has asked.
If someone asked it would probably be Ussop and she would say something along the lines of their captains always being a cough aways of burning alive.
Ok but imaging Zoro actually noticing Luffy is the Avatar since East blue and not saying anything because it did not seemed relevant.
Luffy is Luffy that is all to said in the matter.
Of course, he knew, Luffy provided a great afternoon breeze for naps.
Anyway he learned water bending from Nami and Jimbei and his only problem was actually sitting down enough to listen to the lesson
You guys have no idea how much luffy is proposing actually learning to earth bend for real.
Instructions unclear he turned a rock into a non-Newtonian fluid.
Closer to inventing alchemy that actually learn Earth bending.

Finished the last 3 episodes of the Netflix last airbender....
This yall iroh?? He's absolutely sauceless. No drip. Not an ounce of playful charm. I cannot believe people are saying he's the best cast actor in the show

Because she hasn't been delivering anything the whole movie and i was like, wait is that even her? Young zuko in his flashback scene? Actually trying to change his behavior to reflect that of a child. It's really that easy oh boy!!
And I can't even blame kataras actress bc in the scene where she's giving her empassioned plea for aang to come back, she fucking aced it!!! I was like, that's her that's katara she finally showed up!!!
So it must be the terrible dialogue and sloppy ass directing!!!!!
Like how are you as a director not walking your actors through any of these scenes!!!
I'm so mad about katara. It's like without making her the object of aangs desire they dont know what to do with her. How do you as a writer not have any Damm shame that you gave the co-lead of your show absolutely no bonding time with aang, no central plots to develop her story, and then pat yourself on the back for giving her her girl power moment in the end.
It's frankly insulting to your actor and to your audience to completely drop their character in this way.
I would argue there are 4 katara centric episodes in season one. The boy in the iceberg, the waterbending scroll, Jet, and the waterbending master. We get only two of those in the show! And our of theose two, katara is only an active player in the last one!! So how dare you think you made a successfully well rounded alternative to the animated counterpart!!! It's fucking insulting
Also would it fucking kill them to have them do ANYTHING while talking

How bout you have them walk and do it, or bend and do it, PLEASE. SOME DYNAMISM PLEASE? SO INDONT HAVE TO LOOK AT MORE STATIC SHOTS OF A 12 YEAR OLD DEBATING MORALS WITH HIS ANCIENT PAST LIVES IN FRONT OF A GREEN SCREEN
Also, looks like they're saved all the sick ass waterbending for THE LAST TWO EPISODES.
You couldn't sneak in a single moment where katara is practicing??? Nor a single one? Fuck you
Anyway I was hype as hell when we got the big water monster.

Sokka is in permanent 🫤 face. Every line punctuated with an oh shucks

You make sure he doesn't die, and he will try and make sure you don't go over that ridiculous turn limit
If you pair him with Li Ling in a fight, man, things are going down
Li Ling tries to show off to his mentor-it doesn't go so well
If you divert your attention to someone else he is a bit sad, but understands you want more strong espers
Please don't forget him he's going to have even bigger trust issues
In my player esper au he's going to protect you with his whole being
Friendliness overload
He's now your best friend and self-appointed bodyguard
You are a strong esper, you can strengthen others and bring them back to life
If you were to die in battle there is no telling of what will happen
You know all and it's kinda scary
But even though you know of his tragic past you don't treat him with pity and he respects you for that

So he is a really friendly person
In one of his career stories it says that during his training he liked to have other people around
That person has become you, even when he has to train alone you are there to make sure that he doesn't overwork himself and that he gets enough water to drink
As well as to just be with him
You are someone he trusts fully even after the situation with his boss that sent him away
He's been through a lot so all the hugs and the clinging he appreciates because he knows you are still there with him
He's gotten more in the habit of talking out of trouble rather than fighting it a while ago, but with the subject of you?
If anyone is talking bad about you they ice they are walking on is rapidly cracking
