The mission had been tiring today, everything that could go wrong went wrong and it left you with a few injuries nothing that needed more than a clean and bandage but it still hurt, Bruce had managed to get himself injured as well, while everyone else had headed off to the med bay to get sorted out, you and Bruce had gone back to your room you were more than capable of helping each other get cleaned up, Bruce went into the bathroom to get the first aid kit that he kept in the room while you took off all the extra gear that you were wearing. "Alright take off your shirt." He ordered and you looked at him and smirked.

"Maybe you should take me to dinner first." You suggested as you settled on the bed. "Very funny." He smiled before gesturing for you to take off your shirt and you looked at him and sighed. "I'm going to need your help, it kinda hurts to lift my arms." You answered, he put down the kit and walked over to you gently taking your arms out of the sleeves for you before getting you to sit on the bed, he took a seat in front of you and gently started to clean the wounds on your torso and to bandage you. It only took a little bit before he was done and you told him to take off your shirt. "Are you going to take me to dinner?" He asked. "I can take you to dinner if you want me to." You winked before looking over his chest and gauging the severity of the wounds that were there "how did you even manage to get hurt, wasn't the other guy running around for like the whole mission?" "Not when the plane crashed." He answered and you looked at him and raised an eyebrow. "You lucky this was all you got." You smiled as you started to clean them. "Mmm." He hummed as his eyes landed on the scar across your collarbone, he remembered the one, that was the first time that he had met you.

This was your first time working with the Avengers as a group, you had worked with Natasha and Clint at different times, they needed someone that HYDRA hadn't seen in connection with them so you were the one that SHIELD called on, you were more than happy to work with them "So who's who?" You smirked as you leaned against the wall of the Quinjet. "Come on sweetheart are you telling me you don't know who's who?" Tony asked as he glanced back at you from the pilot seat and you shrugged. "I know Natasha and Clint." You answered as you walked over to sit next to Nat, who was smiling at you. "That's Tony, Steve, Bruce and Thor." Nat introduced you to the people that you hadn't officially met but before you could say anything else the jet jolted and you were flung forward, you could vaguely hear them yelling but you blacked out before the jet even hit the ground.

"Bruce!" Nat called as she pressed her hand to your shoulder trying to stop the bleeding, Burce rushed over to try and get a look at the injury before putting as much pressure on it as possible. "Tony, you really need to get the jet working!" Bruce called. "I'm working on it, it'd be much better if you were helping." He muttered. "Well, she'll bleed out if I leave her here," Bruce yelled back and it was then that Tony took a glance around the plane and saw you laying on the floor unconscious. "Well, crap," Tony mumbled as he tried to get to work as fast as he could ordering the others to help him while Natasha helped to stabilize you.

"I remember that one." He mumbled as he pressed a kiss to the scar on your collar bone. "That was the first time that you saved my life." You smiled as you moved closer. "You've been keeping count?" He asked. "Mmm, the second time left you with a scar." You said as you lifted his hand so that you could see the scar on the back of it. "Remember?"

You had walked into the lab looking for Bruce, since the first mission, you had been sent on loads of missions with the Avengers and now you knew them all very well but you had become very close with Bruce which was why you were looking for him "What are you doing here?" He asked as he glanced up from his workstation to look at you for a second to make sure that you weren't injured. "You don't look hurt." "What?" You frowned, "that's not the only reason that I come to see you, you know." You smiled as you walked over to him. "What are you doing?" You asked. "Just helping Tony with something." He answered gesturing to the things on the workbench, he didn't miss the way that your eyes lit up as you looked over everything but he was more concerned about how close you were to the hot metal that he had just finished working with his hand shot out between you and the metal but it seemed that he had overestimated the space between you and the offending material because he pulled his hand back with a hiss, your eyes widened as you reach out and grabbed his hand looking it over before putting it under some cold water. "I'm sorry." You mumbled quickly as you looked at the burn. "Don't worry about it, it's not your fault." He dismissed your apology but you shook your head continuing to fuss over him for a further 15 minutes.

You pulled Bruce to lay down with you after moving everything off of the bed, you decided that you'd put it away later but for now you just wanted to sleep, he grabbed a shirt for you to slip on before laying down with you and wrapping his arms around you. "We should sleep, there will be plenty of time to get even more scars." You teased and he pressed a kiss to the side of your head before he spoke. "Let's try not to get anymore, yeah?" He asked. "You don't think they make me look good?" You asked. "Look good or not, I'm not fond of the process by which you get them." He explained before tightening his arms around you. "Now rest."

Surprise! | Bucky x reader part 1

Summary: Tony throws a party for Bruce’s birthday. Warnings: drinking, swearing Word count: 4491 Note: /

‘Are you ready?’ Steve opened the door of the bathroom where I was changing into the dress I bought myself earlier today. ‘You look good.’ I smiled when I gave him a spin. ‘You aren’t look bad yourself captain.’ He smiled when he crossed his arms over his chest while he leaned against the doorframe. ‘Is everyone else already downstairs?’ He nodded. ‘I’ll be down in a little bit.’ Steve turned around and walked back into the hallway. ‘Don’t make us wait y/n’. He yelled it at me from the staircase and I chuckled. It was Bruce’s birthday today and Tony had planned a surprise party for his favourite lab partner. The whole team pitched in to buy him something for the lab, no clue what it exactly was but even Tony got excited about it so it had to be something cool.

Five minutes later I walked down the staircase into the living era that we all shared with each other. ‘Lady y/l/n, love the dress.’ Thor tilted is beer in the air and nodded towards my dress. ‘Well thank you,’ I laughed while I made a curtsy towards the blond haired God. When I walked over to the couch Tony walked into the room. ‘Okay, Bruce will be here within ten minutes so everyone has to find a good hiding spot within the living room.’ He looked around at the crew while he was talking. ‘Is everyone downstairs?’. I took a quick look around and saw that Bucky was missing. ‘Eum, Bucyk is missing,’ I said with a confused look on my face while I looked up at Steve. ‘Didn’t you check upon him when you came looking for me?’ He shrugged. ‘I thought he was already downstairs.’ I got up and started walking towards the staircase, ‘I’ll go check upon him.’ Steve wanted to say something else but I already made my way up the stairs.

You know that feeling when you just clicks with someone, not even in a romantic way but just when you find your kind of person? That was the situation with Bucky and me. We had a some stuff in common, we were both former assassins who had lost themselves along the way but eventually found themselves again. When I was six I became an orphan and got stuck within the foster system. On my tenth birthday I got the chance to go live with a wealthy older man who had already adopted six other kids around my age, I couldn’t refuse that offer. After a while it turned out that I was being adopted so I could participate within a government experiment, well not a physics experiment. Half the group got trained to be some kind of administrative staff and the other half got physical training. We got trained in hand-to-hand combat, weapon use, pilot training, psychological training and so much more. Along the way I cut all ties with the government and became a ghost. Years passed and I had signed some contracts with the wrong crowd. If it wasn’t for Natasha I would have probably ended up in a ditch in a city somewhere across the world. After I had spend some time with Natasha and the Avengers they started to trust me and I found myself a new home along the way. I never became an official Avengers since I didn’t wanted to be tied to the government again. So I worked as an independent agent. Couple of years passed, I met Bucky and got to know his backstory. His winter soldier days were over but he couldn’t shake the guilt off. Just like me he became an independent agent and tried to be a better version of his former self. We started training together what was a bit weird since we were older and we both had had different partners in the past but it worked and the rest is history. I knew that he would always have my back no matter what and I had his.

‘Buck are you in here?’ I knocked on his bedroom door and waited a bit, but he didn’t answer. ‘Buck?’ I grabbed the doorhandle and opened his door. The room was dark so I turned on the lights, the room was empty. I quickly closed the door and made my way through the corridor. Where could he be? After wondering around for a couple of minutes I made my way over to the staircase that gave access to the roof. ‘Barnes, are you up here? Where all downstairs waiting for Bruce.’ When I turned around the corner of one of the airshafts I saw someone sitting on the edge of the roof. ‘Bucky?’ He turned around when he heard my voice. ‘y/n?’ I made my way over to the edge of the rooftop. ‘Everything ok?’ I kicked off my high heels and sat down next to the brow haired man. ‘Yeah,I just had to clear my mind for a bit since Grace is also coming.’ I made a o shaped form with my lips when I realised that his ex was going to be here. ‘I forgot, sorry.’ He turned his head and gave me a weak smile. ‘It’s ok y/n, it has been what now, five or six months since we broke up?’ Five months and a week to be exact but who's counting right? I had to admit, if he would ask me out on a date I wouldn’t say no. That realisation came a couple of weeks after they broke up, I just realised that he wasn’t just my partner in combat. Some things had happened between us in the past but I always told myself that it was just part of the job in one way or another. Most of the time we were far from home, didn’t know anyone so it was a familiar feeling. ‘I’ll live.’ He gave me a boyish smile and I nudged his shoulder. ‘We got to go downstairs or will miss the big entrance of our favourite scientist.’ I got up and held my hand out towards him so he could grab it. On our way down a put on my high heels. ‘Nice shoes.’ While saying that he opened the door. We re-entered the living room that was completely dark. I only could see Sam sitting behind the couch while he signalled that we had to hide. ‘We’re just in time,’ I mumbled while I pulled Bucky behind the corner with me. ‘What the h-‘ I quickly covered his mouth with one of my hands and put the other one against my own lips so he knew he had to be quiet. A couple of minutes later the lights turned on. ‘Surprise!’ Everyone jumped out of their hiding spots and Bruce dropped his keys. ‘Holy –‘. A big smile was plastered onto his face. ‘Guys, what is all of this?’ Tony walked up to him with the present we bought. ‘Well, we all know that it is your birthday today and we all pitched in to buy you these badboys.’ Bruce looked surprised while he opened his present. ‘Wow, guys thanks!’ He pulled some pair of glasses out of the box. ‘You can connect them with the lab system,’ Tony started chatting with Bruce and everyone went on with their own stuff.

Tony had put on some music and more guests arrived at the party. It was going to be a party in true Tony Stark Style. It was an open bar as usual and half of the beverages were some that I had never heard of before. ‘Hi, could I get a beer?’ A blond haired girl gave me a smile while she opened a bottle. ‘Oh just the bottle is ok, I don’t need a glass. Thanks.’ The crew was seated in the living room and I made my way over with the beer in my hand. ‘Y/l/n, come sit here,’ Natasha waved me over with a smile on her face. ‘Nat, looking good,’ I said while I checked her outfit out. ‘I know.’ She had a relaxed expression on her face, probably because she was drinking beer the past hours. I took place between her and Loki. ‘What are we doing, just sitting here or?’ Thor pointed at his hammer that he put on display on the coffee table. ‘We’re trying to figure out who’s worthy enough to lift my hammer.’ I raised one of my eyebrows. ‘So who’s worthy so far?’ I looked the group around and everybody shook their head. ‘I’m I the last one to try?’ They nodded. ‘Give it a try doll.’ Bucky said while he had a boyish grin across his face. I started laughing while I walked up to the hammer and grabbed the handle. There was no way that I was lifting this thing an inch above the table. I planted my feet in the ground an pulled whit all I got on the handle but it didn’t move, not even a little bit. ‘Looks like you aren’t worthy y/n’ Loki laughed while I took the seat next to him. ‘I already knew that I’m going to hell,’ I laughed while I winked at him. ‘You’re all not worth.’ Thor’s laugh filled the room, ‘I knew it.’

Everyone chatted whit each other about nothing in particular and I turned to Natasha. ‘So, you and Steve?’ I wiggled my eyebrows at her while I asked the question. ‘What about it?’ The former Russian spy took a sip from her beer so she didn’t had to answer me. ‘You now what I mean, I’ve seen the looks between the both of you.’ The beer bottle was cold against my lips while I took a sip. ‘Girl you can’t fool me, I’m also a trained spy don’t even try.’ She burst out in laughter. ‘Y/n I’m a Russian spy, you don’t know half the tricks I’ve upon my sleeve.’ I laughed while I looked in the direction of Steve. She was right, I probably knew half of her tricks. She was trained the Russian way after all. ‘No but I’m serious, he looks at you like you’re his lifeline and you haven’t dated anyone for two years now? I can see you guys living together, nice apartment and maybe a dog?’. She nudged my shoulder. ‘You haven’t dated anyone even longer than me so if we’re going to find a guy for someone it’s for you. And besides that I had sex last week so I’m not complaining.’ My mouth fell open and I could see the amusement in her eyes while she saw my facial expression. ‘I knew it!’ I yelled exited while I looked from Nat to Steve and back. ‘Oh shut up.’ Natasha laughed before she took another sip. ‘No but seriously Nat, you guys would look good together, he knows what your job is and what happened in your past. I think it would be a good match the two of you.’ She shrugged her shoulders. ‘Yeah I know, we’ll see. If I’m not married within the next ten years he’ll be my backup.’ Having a backup wasn’t even a bad idea, not that it would really happen but the idea off having a backup plan with a guy you know it would work out with didn’t sounded awful. ‘Who’s your backup?’ I laughed. ‘Maybe I need to get myself a first choice and then backup ‘cause I don’t even have a first one at the moment.’ Nat nodded her head towards Bucky but he didn’t saw it since he was sipping from a bluish drink. ‘What about him? Both former assassins who are currently living like the good agents you both are.’ Natasha flashed me a smile. ‘He’s a good option for both first choice and backup. If I hadn’t made that deal with Steve I would’ve asked him.’ Before he started dating Grace we used to flirt, like a lot but I never knew if he was serious or if I was just fun to waste some time. She knew how I felt about him because I asked her if she had the same connection with Clint. They had but it was more of a best friend thing between them. I took another sip from the beer in my hand. ‘He isn’t over his ex yet, so I don’t think it’s the right time to pop the question.’ She tilted her head to the side while she looked at Bucky. ‘He’ll get over her, she’s a bitch and I normally don’t talk bad about other women but she, oh man I would have punched her in the face if I was there when she told him..’ Grace was a former agent of S.H.I.E.L.D but she got transferred to Europe six months ago. Well transferred isn’t the right word since she aske for her transfer. She said that she wasn’t ready for the commitment with Bucky while he was the one who tried every day to make it work between them. Stopped hanging out with us and when I say us I mean the girls, he stopped drinking, he even cut his hair when she said that she didn’t like it. He started wearing the clothes that she liked. He just turned in a whole other person for her. Don’t get me wrong you have to sacrifice somethings for love but when you have to change everything about yourself than that isn’t love in my opinion. ‘He’ll be fine but it will take some time. Speak of the devil and he shall appear’ I said with disbelieve while I nodded in the direction of the entrance. ‘Who invited her tonight anyway?’ Natasha turned towards the entrance and shrugged her shoulders. ‘I have no idea but if she tries any funny business she’s out.’ I glanced over at Bucky but he was talking with Thor but I couldn’t hear what they were saying. ‘Oh and y/n you know what they say-,’ Laughed Natasha while she nudged my shoulder ’the best way to get over someone is to get under someone else.’

[Later that night]

A couple of hours had passed and I couldn’t think clear anymore, the beer took it’s toll on my behaviour. ‘Does anyone wants to play truth or dare?’ I didn’t even have to look to know who had popped the question. Thor. Since the god knew what the Americans favourite party game in history was he always wanted to play it. ‘If you want to make out with someone, you just have to ask big boy,’ Natasha winked at him while she spoke. ‘Lady spy, you know I wouldn’t turn that opportunity down.’ I started laughing when I heard Thor’s answer. ‘I don’t know about you guys but I’m going to get another drink, does anyone want something?’ Loki, Barton and Wanda yelled that they wanted a refill. When I stood up and started walking towards the bar I struggled not to trip over my own feet. ‘y/n, I got you.’ Two hands took me by my waste and I got thrown over someone’s shoulder. ‘Buck, put me down,’ I laughed while I was slapping his back. ‘I can walk by myself.’ Natasha wobbled her eyebrows at me when I was hanging over Bucky’s shoulder and I gave her my favourite finger while I stuck my tongue out. His hands got a firm grip around my thighs and the cold metal of his left arm gave me goose bumps. He was getting drunk, he was getting way too touchy. ‘Sergeant Barnes. Put. Me. Down.’ I could feel that he was laughing. In one swift movement he put me down. ‘Thank you’. I turned around so I could face one of the bartenders. ‘Euhm, I need two beers, a martini and some of that stuff that Thor had dropped behind the bar earlier tonight.’ I faced Bucky and asked if he wanted another drink but he shook his head. ‘That’s all love,’ I smiled at the boy and waited patiently while he was making our drinks. ‘Can you handle tonight now she’s here?’ I leaned with my back against the bar and looked into Bucky’s blue eyes. His expression changed when he realised what I said. ’Sorry, I’ve no filter at the moment.’ He looked around the room and stopped when he saw someone, when I followed his gaze I ended up looking at Grace. ‘To be honest, she’s a total bitch and she should be the one who feels bad not you. Nat thinks the same.’ A soft chuckle left his mouth. ‘I don’t feel a thing when I look at her.’ I knew he was lying. ‘It’s okay to miss her, love isn’t easy.’ He focused back on me. ‘She played me big time y/n. Like, she was one of the few people that made me feel something after the whole winter soldier thing and then she walked away. Just like that.’ I laid my hand on his arm. ‘At least you know that you’re still capable to love someone,’ I said while I gave him a small smile. ‘Don’t want to defend her but she’s just not worth it and maybe you just miss the idea of love and not her?’ ‘Yeah, maybe you’re right.’ The bartender taped my shoulder to let us know that our drinks were ready. ‘Thanks!’

The both of us walked back to the couch and handed out the drinks the others ordered. Before I could make my way over to Natasha I got pulled down by Bucky so I sat next to him. I gave him a confused smile but all he did was laugh and put his arm around me. ‘Wanda truth or dare?’ I rolled my eyes because we were actually going to play this game. ‘Truth.’ Thor scratched his beard while he was thinking. ‘Do you have an “I’m getting laid tonight” outfit? If so, what it is?’ Natasha and myself started laughing because we knew she had one. We all had one. ‘Well actually, yes I have one and it’s the dress I’m wearing now.’ You could tell that she had been drinking a bit to much by the way she was staring at Vision when she spoke. ‘Okay, Barton truth or dare?’ Clint tilted his head while he was thinking. ‘I’ll do truth.’ ‘Did you and Natasha ever hook up?’ Natasha started laughing and Clint joined her. ‘It came close in Budapest, but no we never hooked up.’ I couldn’t belief that they never hooked up, they had been working together for the last twelve years or so. ‘Y/n truth or dare?’. I paused while I was figuring out if it was safe to do a dare that came from Clint. ‘I’ll take a dare.’ Clint leaned back in his seat while he was thinking. I just knew that I made a mistake trusting Clint with this kind of power while his grin grew by the second. ‘You have to decide for yourself who the hottest person in the room is and you have to sit on their lap during the rest of the game.’ I rolled my eyes at him. ‘Oh, I can live with that.’ I laughed as I climbed onto Bucky's lap. ‘Y/l/n, I’ll have to admit that that move hurt my feelings.’ Tony placed his hands in a dramatic move over his heart. ‘To bad stark.’ For a second Bucky just looked into my eyes and I questioned my move but he quickly grabbed me by my waste and pulled me closer to his chest. Everyone had figured out along the way I found him attractive, I had said it before so it was no big deal. But when he pulled me closer to his chest I felt butterflies in my stomach. I tried to ignore the feeling. ‘Natasha truth or dare?’ I grinned at her ‘cause she knew what was coming. ‘I’ll take truth, thank you.’ I raised on of my eyebrows. ‘Who would you date in this room and why?’. By the look on her face I knew that I was soooo dead. ‘Well, I would date Steve because he’s a handsome man who knows how my job works.’ She turned towards Steve while she was talking, ‘and I think he could handle me.’ Steve was smiling while Natasha spoke. ‘Not me Lady spy?’ Thor was joking. ‘Well I don’t think it would work since you have a small god complex about yourself.’ Bucky chuckled and tightened his grip around my waste. Natasha shifted her gaze form Steve to Bucky and I knew it was payback time. ‘Barnes, truth or dare?’

I kept looking at Natasha while she waited for Bucky’s answer. ‘I’ll take truth.’ ‘What happened between you two,’ when she said that she pointed at the both of us, ‘while you guys were in Tokyo?’ My jaw dropped when she asked the question, she already knew what happened back in Japan because I had called her the day after to tell her. ‘Did something happen in Japan?’ Tony looked from Bucky’s face to mine and back. ‘No way.’ Peter's eyes widened when he understood what Natasha was insinuating and started grinning. ‘Oh god.’ I hid my face in my hands. ‘Euhm.’ Bucky pulled one of his arms back to scratch the back of his neck and Steve started laughing since he already knew what had happened. The fact that I was sitting on his lap made the situation just more awkward. ‘Well we were stuck in our hotel room because we had to quarantine since we were exposed to something in the lab in Tokyo and we decided to share a room because it was a five or six day quarantine. There was a minibar and we threw ourselves a party and one thing led to another. Let’s say that we got to know each other on a whole other level.’ I had pushed the memories of that night far away in my brain because it was a one-time thing but everything flooded back in. The way we laughed while dancing around the ridiculous big hotel room, the jumping on the bed while we were sipping on mini bottles of liquor and the way his hands burnt on my skin when he touched me. Him replacing his arms around my waist and squeezed my side gently jolted me out of my thoughts. ‘I knew it!’ Loki shouted while he pointed at us with a big smile on his face. ‘I call bullshit. No way that nothing ever happened between you two.’ Loki pointed at Clint and Natasha. Clint lifted his hands in the air and shook his head. ‘You can’t tell me that you work together for over ten years, live practically together and that nothing has ever happened. Bullshit.’ Natasha started laughing. ‘A lady never kisses and tells Loki.’ We kept playing a couple of other rounds but after a while it became boring and the game faded out. Everyone was doing their own thing. ‘Sorry.’ Bucky whispered in my ear when no one was paying attention to us anymore. I took another sip form the bottle in my hands ‘It’s ok. They would have figured it out sooner or later.’ I laughed while I shook my head. ‘It’s not like it is a big deal right? ‘ He shook his head. ‘No it’s not.’ I untangled his hands around my waist so I could slip off his lap and sat down next to him on the spot on the sofa where I sat before the game. He gave me a confused look when he saw what I was doing. ‘The game is over Barnes.’ His confused expression made me laugh.

[Later that night]

‘Okay guys I love you all but it’s like five in the morning, I’m going to bed.’ At one point during the evening I had kicked off my shoes and was not planning on putting them back on so I grabbed them from the floor while I got up from the sofa. ‘I’ll see you guys tomorrow, if someone is doing something stupid please record it for me so I can join on the fun in the morning.’ I blew them a kiss and headed out off the living room. ‘Yeah, I’m also going.’ Bucky mumbled behind me. ‘You know where I’ve put them,’ Natasha yelled and my cheeks got flustered. ‘Go fuck yourself Romanoff.’ I yelled back while I gave her my favourite finger. Bucky followed me up the stairs but didn’t said a thing and I started to feel uncomfortable. ‘Is there something wrong?’ The corridor was empty except for us to so I stopped in my tracks and turned around so I faced him. He didn’t answer my question immediately and the look on his face made me think that he was debating on what he was going to say. ‘Look Buck, it’s late, everyone is drunk and the whole Tokyo-ting really doesn’t bother me you don’t need to feel sorry for that.’ He scratched his head while I was talking and chuckled. ‘I was planning on saying something else.’ I tilted my head. ‘Oh, okay sorry go on.’ He put both his hands in the pockets of his trousers. ‘I was wondering if I could sleep with you tonight.’ I raised my eyebrows when he popped the question. ‘Oh no that came out the wrong way. I mean just sleeping, nothing more. I just want to sleep next to someone.’ I laughed, we had done this before and last time I tried to argue with him about it we ended up in his bed. He had his way of persuading me in this deal. To spare myself from an endless discussion I just asked him if he wanted to sleep in my bed or his. ‘Yours if that’s okay.’ I just nodded my head while I started walking. ‘Come on in.’ I walked into the bathroom that was next to my room were I changed into my pyjamas. Bucky was taking off his trousers when I re-entered room, his shirt was already lying on the ground. Without saying anything I crawled into my bed. ‘Turn out the lights when you come to bed please,’ I mumbled as I searched for a comfortable sleeping position. ‘Mh.’ I heard how he threw is trousers onto the chair that was standing in my room. He made his way over to the light switch and the room went dark. The mattress beside me sank in when Bucky climbed into bed. I felt how he moved closer to me. ‘May I cuddle up to you?’ His breath touched my face while he spoke. ‘Sure,’ I mumbled. His metal arm found its way around my waist and I lifted my head so he could tuck his other arm underneath my pillow. ‘Night y/n.’ His bare chest touched my back. ‘Night Bucky.’

Thor was coming home late again, Normally this wouldn’t bother you but on this particular day, it had bothered you. You sat on your bed back against the headboard, a book cradled gently in hands.

The sun streamed in through a broken blind causing you to wake up, you rubbed your eyes as they attempted to adjust to the morning light.

Sitting up you glance over at Thors spot, it’s still empty, he hadn’t come home, You were pissed of to no avail. You reach for your phone dialing your best friends number. Bucky.

He answered on the first ring his voice groggy from sleep “What in the hell do you want?” you almost felt bad for waking him up. But you quickly swallowed your guilt and asked him the dreaded question.

“Where’s Thor?” you tried to control your tone, trying not to sound too angry. Bucky began to babble about how no one respects him, and how he needs sleep too. “Bucky, Where’s Thor, he didn’t come home last night?” you asked again cutting him off.

With a heavy sigh, Bucky replied: “He said something about heading over to Janes, but you didn’t hear it from me.”

You rose to your feet as you said a quick goodbye, your heart shattering into a million tiny pieces, Why had he gone to Jane's? Where you not enough for him? Your insecurities started to show, as you felt tears start to swell up.

It had seemed like 2 more hours had passed by the time that Thor stumbled in. She watched his every move as he threw his coat on the back of one of the chairs, and stumbled his way to the fridge.

She didn't say a thing as he put the leftover goods onto the counter. After heating up the food he turned and looked at her, he could sense her anger.

"Hello Love." He greeted putting a smile on his face, maybe if he portrayed happiness than she would be happy. But he was wrong. "Thor, where were you?"

She kept her voice as calm as possible, but she knew whatever answer he gave she was going to blow up.

"I was staying at the Tower..." he lied trailing off, she smiled at him but the smile didn't reach her eyes. "Really you were at the tower huh?" He nodded, "Is that your final answer? You were at the tower last night, all night." She had given him every opportunity to come clean.

"Babe wha-" she cut him off "Am I not good enough for you?" Her voice broke as she asked the question.

"OfCou-" he started but she cut him off yet again. " Then why did you go to Jane's? Why did you stay at her place, and don't try and lie to me again, Because I fucking know Thor, I know you were at Jane's last night."

Thor contemplated lying again but instead he walked closer to her, "I was Drunk Y/N, I just didn't know what I was doing."

She wanted so desperately to believe him, but part of her couldn't due to the fact he had lied about going over to her house and staying in the first place.

"Did you sleep with her?" You asked facing away from him. His voice came as an outrage

"Why in the hell would you say that? You know I wou-" he was anger but so where you, you jumped to your feet glaring hard at him.

"Oh Fuck you Thor, You Fucking lied to me about staying at her house in the first place! You don't get to ask why I would fucking think that!" You yelled at him.

"If you weren't so Insecure about everything.This wouldn't have been an issue, if you must know I didn't fuck Jane, I yelled at her, and than past out!" He yelled back storming off grabbing his coat.

"Don't you dare walk out that door! If you leave than Where finished!" He whirled around grabbing you pulling you into his chest, his thick arm not letting you move an inch. His lips crashed down onto yours, both of you fighting for dominance, he won of course.

His hands finding purchase in your hair, as he yanked it making you arch into him.

As he littered your neck with love bites. His hands pinched at your nipples earning a moan from you.

“You what?” Bruce asked, turning to face his boyfriend. “Do you know what Tony is going to do to us if Morgan isn’t safe and sound when he and Pepper get home?”

“I know, I know,” Thor ran a hand through his growing hair. “We were playing with Legos, and I turned around to change the TV channel because Morgan wanted to watch Disney, and when I turned back, she was gone!”

“Thor, you know Morgan only watches Disney with Pepper! She tricked you!” Bruce took off his lab coat, grabbing the brown jacket Tony had bought him, and headed out of his lab.

“She’s probably looking for Natasha. You know how weak Nat is with her. She’ll give her anything she asks for.” Thor spoke, following Bruce.

“Did she ask you for anything? Like a cookie or a flamethrower?” Bruce asked, searching for Natasha or Morgan.

“She wanted to train with Steve, but I told her she had to wait for Tony and Pepper’s permission.”

“Okay, you head to the gym, I’ll look for Natasha,” Bruce ordered. “One of us will have to find her.” Thor took off in one direction, Bruce the other.

Bruce found Natasha in the living room, watching TV while painting her nails. “Nat, have you seen Morgan?”

“Huh? Morgan wanted to see Steve in action, so I let her in the gym. Why?” Bruce said a silent prayer to whatever god smiled on him today, rushing to the gym.

When Bruce arrived, Thor was staring at Morgan and Steve. Someone had set up a small, Morgan-sized punching bag next to Steve’s, and Morgan was practicing with Steve. It was really cute, so Bruce took a picture. It would never see the light of day.

“Morgan, thank God. You shouldn’t run off without telling someone where you’re going,” Bruce chastised. “You gave Thor a heart attack.”

Morgan looked up from her punching bag, blonde ponytail swishing with the motion. “Sorry, Uncle Bruce. I just wanted to train with Captain America.”

Thor picked Morgan up, letting her climb onto his shoulders.

“I know, but let’s wait until your mom and dad get home before you start fighting, okay? We don’t want to surprise Tony.”

“Okay.” Morgan slumped on Thor’s head, closing her eyes. “I’m tired. Can Uncle Thor read me a story?”

“I think he can, what do you think, Thor?” Bruce asked.

“I most definitely can. Come along, Lady Morgan. Which story would you like today?” Thor walked out of the gym with Morgan, leaving Bruce and Steve.

“You do not tell Tony or Pepper what happened unless you want to die,” Bruce warned.

“You’re going to kill me if I tell?” Steve asked, confused.

“No,” Bruce clarified. “Pepper will.” And with that, he left.

“And so, with her friends all wounded, the mighty Sif ran and jumped, plunging her sword through the beast, saving the village and her friends!” Thor finished his story, Morgan fast asleep in his arms. Bruce smiled and sat near his boyfriend.

“You’re doing a great job, Thor. Despite the disaster that happened today, you’re shaping up to be an amazing uncle for her.” Thor smiled, kissing Morgan’s head.

“So are you, Dr. Banner. Who else would quite literally drop everything to search for a kid they weren’t in charge of? Especially when working on something important?”

“Tests can wait,” Bruce insisted. “Morgan’s top priority, after taking care of you, dumbass.”

“I resent that, Mr. I-Have-Seven-PhDs-And-Can’t-Find-My-Way-Out-Of-A-Paper-Bag.” Thor mocked, carrying Morgan to her bed. “Now, if you excuse me, I need to get Morgan to bed.”

“Have fun, and don’t lose her again!” Bruce called after him, laughing. “God, you’re adorable.”

“You guys are gonna be great parents, if you want that,” Natasha said, appearing from nowhere. “You and Thor care so much that it’s crazy to think you’d be terrible parents.”

“Natasha, you know my dad was-”

“An asshole, yes,” Natasha cut off. “So was Tony’s, and you’ve seen how much he adores Morgan. With the way you treat her, you’re gonna be like Tony. And Thor, well, Thor’s naturally good with kids. So, if you ever want to go down that road, you have my official stamp of approval.” Natasha left the exact same way she came, silently and with a smile on her face.

“Huh, maybe she’s right.”

“Who’s right?” Thor asked, coming back from tucking Morgan into bed.

“Natasha.”

“Nat is usually right, I have found. She’s rarely ever been wrong.” Thor sat next to Bruce, turning on a TV to watch a show.

“Yeah, you’re right,” Bruce mumbled, snuggling up to Thor. “I want a blanket.” Bruce was draped with a plush blanket immediately after his request, Thor having half of it over himself so Bruce could snuggle comfortably.

“I have heard this show is trash. Should we watch it?”

“Yes, definitely.”
