This small bushbaby is found in forests of Southern Africa; primarily Angola, Zambia, and Zimbabwe. They come out at night to hunt insects, and to sip the gum which oozes from the bark of acacia trees.

These tiny primates tend to stay in treetops the majority of their lives and only occasionally go to the ground to hunt. Sleeping the days away in nests built in tree hollows and spending their nights hunting, sightings of Rondo dwarf galago are rare. It is unknown if they have any natural predators, but due to habitat destruction and the illegal pet trade, the Rondo dwarf galago has been reduced to only a 8 fragmented populations in protected game and forest reserves.
Anyone here remembers "Bushbaby"? It's an anime adapted from the novel "The Bushbaby" written by William Stevenson and released in 1992. The story in the anime is a about a girl named Jackie who adopts a bushbaby and named it Murphy. It's setting is in Kenya around 1960's. The plot involves Jackie's adventures in that continent at meet some other characters who will help her to survive. The anime is part of World Masterpiece Theater, a series produced by Nippon Animation which contain anime shows based on selected novels from Western literature.
I remember I used to watch this every weekday mornings on TV around 2005 but I didn't know its whole story. I recently discovered it in Youtube when someone uploaded its complete episodes in English dub around few years ago. Said dub was aired in Canada around 1993. I find it a pretty a good show and I admit I cried at its last episode.
