So my health insurance has this bonus program where you can actually get paid (minor amounts) for doing certain preventative care measures (signing up for exercise activities, doing medical check-ups and such). Since one of my new year's resolutions is doing all my available preventative check-ups next year anyway, I decided "okay, might as well". So I downloaded their app.

Turns out that in order to prove you actually did a medical check-up (that the very same health insurance is paying for and should therefore actually have all the relevant information of), what you have to do is get your doctor to put a physical stamp on a physical piece of paper that you then have to take a picture of to upload it to the app.

Erm.

While ago, I made a post about the Mayor/Chief of War's Chinese dub title being 大元帅/Dà Yuánshuài (aka Grand Marshal).

And after little more digging (aka throwing the term in Wikipedia's search par), this kind of courtesy title was mostly reserved for two types of people:

Legendary war heroes

OR

The Crown Prince

Based on the little we know about the Mayor's backstory, I think the first one is probably the one the show writers were going with. Which would make the Mayor a nice parallel for Azure.

You know, them both being high ranking soldiers who grew so tired of their boss' bs that they ended up killing them.

But the second possibility... That idea of LBD slowly manipulating the Emperor's very own son into her most loyal servant. That she had lost her faith in humanity so thoroughly that the idea of replacing this selfish ruler with her puppet wasn't a choice she even considered.

(Unless that was indeed what she did, since that scene clearly takes place before she met the Pilgrims)

But most importantly: the idea that the Mayor was so loyal to LBD that he gave up his future as an Emperor, betrayed the people he was supposed to rule one day and murdered his own father.

This is the pettiest of complaints but.

I'm in this Facebook group called "Maximalist Design and Decor" but I swear to God, 98% of the people in this group think the only thing you need to be considered "maximalist" is loud wallpaper. Bruh, where are your COLLECTIONS, where are the walls that are so full of art that you don't notice the color of the paint underneath? One bold statement piece does not a maximalist room make.

So let me get this straight:

When Charles is in a tunnel with low visibility and not warned by his team that a driver is behind him, the team is to blame, but Charles still gets a 3-place grid penalty for impeding. When Charles slows down to safely enter the pit lane, it's impeding and a 3-place grid penalty.

When Max sits for i-don't-know-how-long on track impeding all kinds of cars, nothing. When Max sits in the pitlane for 14 seconds holding up traffic, a reprimand. When he clearly impedes Yuki in what could be used as a textbook case of impeding, he gets another reprimand.

And Max fans are saying I can't be upset about Max not getting a penalty, because... checks notes... he's P11 so who cares, we're clearly afraid of him, nobody is talking about Logan getting a reprimand, look at what happened in Monza.

Okay, P11 means nothing when you have a rocket ship of a car. Max has won from P15. It's not a matter of being afraid, it's a matter of getting unbiased, consistent stewarding from FIA. And so yes, Logan should've been handed a 3-place grid penalty for impeding Lance as well. Because we need consistency from one race to the next.

As for Monza, I assume this is regarding the new rule about doing your warm-up lap under a set time that the Ferrari drivers were cited for but never penalized. Yeah, that was a mess, and I don't know what the deal was with that. It being a new rule, there seemed to be a lot of confusion, apparently with the stewards as well.

However, impeding is not new. And the penalty for it, isn't either. Within 1 championship season, the penalties for it should remain the same for each driver, each race.

The ‘Claudia’s Back’ plot line of 6A was completely unnecessary and created more plot holes and continuity errors than can be fathomed and it makes me want to scream!

If Claudia’s back, how come the Sheriff still isn’t wearing his wedding ring? Did he just get it back out of his desk drawer and put it on without questioning why he took it off or put it in the drawer?

Does he not remember going on a date with Natalie Martin… you know, Claudia’s high school best friend?!

And if that date didn’t happen, how does Natalie still remember Lydia being a banshee/knowing about the surpernatual? Because it was after their date that she found out.

Also, the comparison of the boy in the other town to Claudia doesn’t make sense. The banshee mother made a deal; the lives of the town so she can have her dead son back. Lydia didn’t make a deal. Sheriff Stilinski didn’t make a deal. So how did Claudia come back?

As for “Claudia” being a manifestation of the Sheriff’s loss and guilt—he just spent the last few seasons processing those emotions. The only reason he felt guilty was because he wasn’t there on her last day. But Stiles was. So he felt guilty for not being there for her or to say goodbye but he also felt guilty for leaving his son being alone by her side as he watched his mother die. So he doesn’t just feel guilty over not being there for Claudia. And surely “I wasn’t there one time that I don’t even remember because if she’s here then she didn’t die” isn’t enough to bring her back, let alone keep her in reality.

What about her gravestone?! Did Lydia not think to take the Sheriff to see his wife’s grave to prove that Claudia was dead instead of just talking to him and being ignored?

There’s so much more, but my brain can’t even begin to fathom why they included the flaming pile of dog shit that this completely unnecessary plot line was.
