Getting into a fandom after the show/book/whatever is already over is like showing up late to a party except all the other guests are either sprawled on the floor and half-dead, sobbing in the bathroom, or running around the house screaming. Some have already left. Others are arguing in the kitchen about what the best or worst parts of the party were and whether or not there'll be another. The house bears remnants of a fire. Someone drew a pentagram in one of the bedrooms. You walk into the entryway and the only thing you can see is chaos. You smile. You feel alive here.
