It’s my day off and instead of just playing video games all day I signed up for insurance and attempted to make a real caramel with just straight up water and sugar (and mostly succeeded)

#and talked to one of my best friends for a while #and made cupcakes AND dinner AND did all the dishes #which is like.... a real height of productivity for me #also debating what to do with my week off that's coming up because like.... if I stay in the apt I'll probably do nothing fun #but also a national or state park trip doesn't sound *quite* as appealing as it was last year #because I can't hike long distances rn b/c ankle #but maybe I'll do it anyway and stick to the easy stuff #misc: personal #and obvi only going somewhere within driving distance. we aren't getting on a plane again until this shit is over #and like... getting a place with a kitchen and cooking meals instead of going out for food #we're not pretending the pandemic doesn't exist in this house but also like... that's a pretty low-risk vacay
