If we assume that Alan wrote himself into the Entity's Realm and wasn't just sucked up by the Fog then there's a real possibility that, out of all the Survivors in there game, he's got the greatest chance of escape. Cuz why would he write himself INTO a situation that's (arguably) WORSE than the Dark Place without writing a way out? Unless the story started coming true before he could finish it (probably thanks to the Entity itself) and he got sucked up immediately after typing "so I went to a Worse Place"

But then if we assume that the Entity did just Grab him with the Fog, poor Alan just got magically teleported out of Hell (the Dark Place) and into Super Hell (the Realm). Poor bastard.

OK SO BASICALLY this is really only legally blonde inspired bc i wanted to have the trope that breaking into a server is very dangerous and can actually kill someone, solely so Jimmy can break into hermitcraft and be extraordinarily injured and tango freaks out in that way where you get mad but it's just because you're scared and he goes "YOU BROKE INTO HERMITCRAFT??????" and then Jimmy goes "What like it's hard" and then passes out for several days.

also for Plot Reasons Xisuma is the only one with admin abilities and also is nowhere to be found nor can he be contacted (there is nothing angsty going on here he is simply taking his yearly very long nap) and so they can't let Jimmy actually die because he's not whitelisted and wouldn't respawn on the server, if at all

You know what I kind of miss in the Live Action vs the Anime?

Buggy's notoriety with the average background Joe. The LA nose dives pretty fast from its initial creepy-clown + grotesque-serial-killer/kidnapper set up into neighbourhood loser that nobody takes seriously via plot trauma dump and being reduced to a one-liner delivering prop.

I suppose it's the timeline condensing and the power of hindsight from over one thousand episodes.

But, like, I miss it?

The hardest thing about redesigning team CRDL is them not having actual inspirations beyond "bird team". Like Cardin is the easiest because his last name is Winchester so you can figure something out in connection to the Winchester name.

But Russel Thrush, Dove Bronzewing, and Sky Lark? Bird Bird. The Moon Moons of the rwby universe. I have general personality ideas for each of them but how I intend to alter their appearances to make them more interesting is a whole nother beast.

Once again Cardin is the main one I have ideas for due to the fact that I think pulling from historical military uniforms around the time the Winchester company was founded seems like a pretty solid start. And largely his outfit is the most interesting in the group.

Russell's is decent, but his design always bothered me a little, and in redesigning him, I'm trying to point a finger on exactly why.

Dove, I want to make him seem like a guard in training but finding guard uniforms in the rwby world to use as a basis is a task on it's own and with nothing but headcanon to go off of, inspiration is slim.

And then there's Sky who has such limited information that I'm basically building him completely from the ground up, and as such, his overhaul will be the largest.

As someone who loves ocs when I create them it pains me to see characters get tossed aside, or created for the sake of being hateable over being characters. CRDL don't need to be perfect, I don't need them to be nice. But any time teens are treated like monsters it gets so tiring.

Ok theory time and I know this may be a reach but also maybe not.

So I was thinking about the last two interviews where Oliver’s discussed the sperm donor situation and something occurred to me.

“It's going to throw in some new challenges for him to deal with.”

“But, perhaps somewhat naively, he’s going into it thinking he will be unaffected and can do this without some ongoing attachments possibly developing.”

“There is going to be some intense scrutiny thrown in his direction…but only from a place of them loving him and wanting the best for him.”

So from what we know from JLH, they haven’t really had a scene in which Buck confides in his sister about this decision. And we’ve seen him discuss with Hen already. I don’t think it’ll be Chim because he’s directly connected to his sister and I’m sure she would have something to say about it if she finds out from Chim. And I don’t think Bobby is the kind to scrutinize him for this decision. So that leaves us with the most obvious choice: Eddie.

Now what if Eddie of course immediately gets upset and defensive about this subject matter. He knows Buck is the kind who would want to help everyone he can but at the cost of his own happiness. He’s so protective and doesn’t want Buck to get hurt in the process, hence him scrutinizing him coming from his love for him. And what if while he’s talking to him in the heat of the moment, reaffirms that Buck already has a family. He has Chris and Eddie. He’s just upset and a little hurt and it rolls off his tongue. He doesn’t mean it in any other way than simply he has a family if that’s what he’s so hellbent on.

But what if his words snap Buck into reality. A reality in which he realizes that oh, maybe Eddie and Chris are an actual option for him. He’s been on this journey, trying to find his own family and his own happiness when it’s been in front of him the entire time. That those feelings he’s buried deep within are finally knocking on the door to come out.

And that’s a part of the challenges that arise for him. He gets attached to the idea of having an actual proper family with the Diaz boys. Now he has to sit there and figure out what happens to the family he has with Eddie and Chris if he does go through with this. Because he did jump the gun with his initial decision without considering anything or anybody else. Will he lose the chance he never thought he could have? Or will they still be there? And that then leads to him spiraling because maybe Eddie didn’t mean it the way his brain understood it? Maybe Eddie was just saying he had a son figure in Chris but that’s all he’ll ever be? And then he’s spiraling with this internal conflict on whether or not he can go through with it and be happy at the cost of the other people who make him happy? Until he finally decides he can’t go through with it but it still ends up breaking him because now he knows he wants Eddie and Chris. Now he knows they are the things that make him the happiest and he doesn’t think he can actually have them. Maybe it’s too late or maybe Eddie just said something because he was upset. And that eventually leads to his breakdown. The breakdown in which Eddie will step up for and support him through. And in the end, they’ll talk and finally find their way to each other.

My first time playing Xenoblade 2 I thought the game was… problematic, I’ll put it that way. It’s a deeply flawed game and it’s flawed in ways that you can only really get past with either extreme levels of benefit of the doubt (for the extremely weak beginning of the story, bad voice acting and cringy dialogue, questionable character designs, that kinda stuff) or outside help from the community (everything gameplay related. Playing this game the “right way” is very hard to do with how badly the game explains itself). This led to me playing it the first time and wondering what the hell went wrong after Xenoblade 1 was so good.

Then I played Torna: The Golden Country and really enjoyed it. Then I started seeing guides on the internet about how to make the gameplay easier and more fun. Then I replayed the base game eventually and I began to absolutely adore it. Being able to avoid the gameplay pitfalls (especially toward the beginning) and dig into the story and characters more thanks to the context of the late game story + Torna really helped the game for me, and now it’s one of my favorite games. But also getting to that point took an abnormal amount of dedication that most people probably won’t have for a game this obviously flawed.
