Relationship status: I’ve been with Alex for a year and they make my life so much better. I just wish I could shower them with all the love they deserve sometimes soooooooooo yeah 

Favorite color: I like to describe it as an earl grey lavender..... it makes no sense but it’s like a greyish purple that reminds me of foggy mornings and it’s hard to find the perfect paint chip for it...... and I really like rosey pink lately too

Lipstick or chapstick: Both? I’m bi can I say that? Like I love my lipstick but I am super lazy so I do chapstick a lot.

OH MAN OKAY SO TODAY’S GAME @forcekenobi

when we left off last session Ikea was in the midst of a hallucination (triggered by some weird contraption she failed a save against a few sessions ago) that involved her seeing and talking to her old college prof (Dr Evans) who is a creepy motherfucker (he was like, calling her special and inviting her to join his work in child experimentation and lying through his goddamn teeth and it was great)

so at the beginning of today’s session our bard arrived in the imaging suite we were in (to scan Ikea’s brain and figure out what the fuck was going on). She had also failed her save vs the weird brain contraption earlier, but was doing better than Ikea, so she was kind of straddling the line between these two realities––because Dr Evans was doing experiments with bisecting reality. We had a long, circuitous discussion between Ikea (in reality B with Dr Evans and his lackeys) and our cleric (in reality A with the rest of the party/our NPC ally) and the bard (in both of them). All while Ikea was strapped down to the imaging table to get the scan of her brain.

Eventually the cleric untied her and as soon as the brain scan was done Ikea got up and cast Hold Person on the creepy doctor, who was PISSED about it (and I got a fucking badass one-liner and then walked out the fuckin’ door I felt so cool)

(Honestly whole conversation with Dr Evans while Ikea was strapped down was so cool like. I finally got to be all on on the whole “Ikea wants to be Known and Remembered for what she does” thing which was soooooo much fun to play)

Then we snuck into the building next door where the machinery to fix Ikea’s brain was supposed to be (and had a brief run-in with another member of the Evil Bad Scientists Group and our bard pulled one Hell of a deception that involved a Les Mis reference I love bards) but when we got there the lab was empty. So we went to Dr. Evans office (because we’d got the location from one of his lackeys back in the imaging suite) and that conversation was SO MUCH FUN HOLY SHIT.

Like, we got there and he let us all in and Ikea sat down with him and we talked and our cleric told him how creepy and terrible he was (our cleric called Ikea creepy too, earlier, and I was so proud tbh). then we left, except he closed the door before Ikea could go too and we talked while the rest of the party broke down the door and I found out that HIS WIFE DIED IN THE SAME LAB ACCIDENT WHERE IKEA LOST HER LEG AND EVANS THINKS IT WAS IKEA’S FAULT BUT HE’S THE ONE WHO ASKED HER TO HELP OUT WITH THE LAB IN THE FIRST PLACE???? GOD I LOVE IMPROV

AND THEN okay so Ikea’s been slipping back and forth between reality and hallucinations but as the party finally broke back into the office she entered a hallucination and our fighter (and team dad) legit picked her up and carried her out. and Evans just let us go, so we went back to the town where we’ve been staying and they locked Ikea in her room but they didn’t lock the window (something the DM pointed out to me and I was like “oh I know”––like, they literally asked if I wanted someone in the room with me or them to lock me in and I said “locked in” because I wanted to escape out the window)

so Ikea snuck out at about 5am and went to talk to the head of the community who said that people had escaped/been rescued from the Creepy Evil Scientist Base before with the same issue Ikea has and they’d all died by their own hands which is SUCH A THING TO PLAY I LOVE D&D

and now she’s like. she’s so ANGRY because she can deal with injury and hurt but her mind is everything to her and now its compromised and she has this uncertainty about her own reality hanging over her and she absolutely refuses to bow to it but she doesn’t know what she can do because it’s never worked before but she’s DETERMINED to be the first to survive it. I was literally shaking I’m soooooooooo excited about this

also, she’s going to kill Evans slow and painful (but god, I love that character so much what a great way to bring backstory in)

PREGNANT?!?!?! haha nope this 9 month mark isn{t because someone{s preggers, its cause yo girl )me= just completed 9 months in the mish! ive been in a new country for 9 months and have been away from sunny az for 9 months and 1 day! its so crazy to think about that day i left! it feels like yesterday! i remember i had olive garden as my last meal and that when we got to the airport i was playing with my cousin and looking at the airplanes and it feels like i shouldn{t be completing 9 months!but boy oh boy has it been a ride! this half way mark is something so amazing and  so crazy that ive been in the service of the lord for this time! Guys im half way there!!! )jam seshÑ WOAHHHH WERE HALF WAY THEEERRRREEE WOAAHHH LIVIN ON A PRAYER!!! take this book you{ll love it i swearrrr ohhhhwoah Mormon servin hereeeeee!= btws  that book  is the book of Mormon! best book ever! one thing that ive learned here in guate is that the lord is soooooo merciful and so loving! why_ because he came here to visit the Americas! he came here after his resurrection he came so that the people here could touch and feel the marks in his hands and feet to know that he was the resurrected Christ! he came here becuase WERE HIS CHILDREN TOO! the book of mormon isnt just some book.... ITS ANOTHER TESTAMENT OF JESUS CHRIST! it testifies of our LIVING savior who died so that we might live again! he suffered so that we could repent! He is our savior, he his our brother and he is waiting for us to open the door and LET HIM IN! he gave us the keys )bible, book of mormon, living prophets, the priesthood keys, revelation, 12 apostols.= we have the keys needed to find answers and to have the truth! we just have to use the  keys to open the door and let him in! yo se que el libro de mormon es un otro testamento de JesuCristo y que realamente hoy dia tenemos un profeta Russel M.
