the under the sea scene in Legend of the Sea Devils is Not talked about enough in the context that Thirteen is the one making this moment tense.

I don't mean that she's the one trying to have a hard conversation, I mean that Thirteen is the one who made it awkward that they were pushed so close to each other. Thirteen is the one who made this scene sexually/romantically tense, it had Nothing to do with Yaz. They must have stood in the doors of the tardis hundreds of times and had it be totally unremarkable. Not this time, though. Thirteen was using a tiny bit of that old Doctor charm that she usually avoids in this scene and then accidentally gets herself in too deep and starts looking at Yaz's lips and starts to panic a bit.

At this point, Yaz genuinely doesn't know if she's the only one here who has caught feelings. Thirteen is actively flirting here, and whether that was a wise move of hers or not (it wasn't, but still), Yaz doesn't actually let herself believe that it even happened until after she's spoken to Dan about it and he's like 'well Duh' at her.

The lip staring and awkwardness is all 13's doing. Yaz was shying away from this thinking she was imagining things.

It's bonkers because people are out here stating that 13 wasn't into Yaz like that's not Actively contradicted by canon both verbally And by showing 13 at the bottom of the ocean trying to avoid pushing Yaz up against the door and making her breathless for reasons Entirely unrelated to being underwater.

That underwater scene was Before Yaz worked out that 13 was into her and actively while Yaz was trying to reel any kind of feelings for the doctor in. Any tension, romantic, sexual, however you want to interpret it, was Thirteen's doing.

Did some studies because I've been unhappy with how I draw faces/heads lately. Abigail Thorn from Philosophy Tube snuck on there because I liked the snarky look she had when I paused the video I had on in the background while I sketched.

I definitely see improvements that can be made, on all of them, which I think is in and of itself progress. I think my brain learned something. Maybe.
