I only know Brent Spiner as Data so I am confused, perplexed, and utterly baffled that he doesn’t actually Look Like That

#so the thing about Data is that he's an android but he was created by a human #and Brent Spiner plays both Data and his creator #and in one episode we get to see Dr. Soong when he's young and still looks like Brent Spiner #but apparently Brent Spiner doesn't have white-gold skin and neon yellow eyes???????? #and it's still fucking me up?????
