Akaashi + asking you out
You and Akaashi always seem to be the last people left at the student council meetings. It’s already dusk outside, the sky melting into blue and purple hues obscured by a layer of grey smog.
It’s understandable for you; you’re president of the council, and determined to personally see each and every thing they do through. Akaashi, on the other hand, doesn’t hold any official position (it had been offered to him, but he had declined, citing too many other responsibilities already on his plate. A compulsive nosiness, however, keeps him tethered to the organization).
He really doesn’t know why he always stays so late.
“Is it okay if I turn out the lights now?” Your voice cuts through his reverie, and he jumps.
“Yes, of course. Sorry, my head was,” he doesn’t finish his sentence for continuity’s sake.
“Elsewhere,” you smile at him. “I know. It’s late; let’s head home, okay?”
At first, you’d protested his walking you home: I’ll be alright, you insisted. I don’t want to take you out of your way. But after every meeting, he was the last one left cleaning the club room with you, and he was pretty sure he’d never sleep again from guilt if he’d prioritized convenience over courtesy. Eventually, you’d stopped arguing and started asking, still offering up the opportunity to say no, and by now you’d learned that if Akaashi Keiji had at least one working leg and was the only escort available, he would see you safely home.
He wanted to say he didn’t know why he did it. He wanted to blame it on social mores and Japanese custom and the way he was raised. It had been a nice white lie, the kind he himself could believe and thus tell with no trouble.
An offhand comment earlier today, though, had blown it all apart.
Your vice president had made an offhand remark about your boyfriend, which Akaashi desperately wanted to interpret as a joke except that you’d turned your head so he couldn’t see your face and emitted the most embarrassed little laugh he’d ever heard you make. And he couldn’t stop hearing it.
It replayed in his head, over and over, and Akaashi’s brain was going to explode from overthinking.
Your name tumbled out of his mouth before he could stop it.
“Yes?” You looked at him, expression open and curious, and Akaashi had to stop walking and lock his knees just so he wouldn’t run back the way he’d come.
“Your boyfriend,” the words feel syrupy and ugly in his mouth, even while his expression remains as blank as he can get it. “Why doesn’t he walk you home?”
He waits, a lecture on his lips about how you deserve someone who will wait for you even if he’s not on the council, how important that kind of thing is in these early relationships, but you startle him—for the nth time—when you laugh that tiny laugh again.
“I don’t have a boyfriend,” you tell him. His computational processors temporarily overload. “Since you walk me home... you’re probably the closest thing I’ve got to one.”
“You mean that?” His words come out in a rush. He folds his hands over each other, pale, slim fingers fidgeting nervously.
“Yeah, ‘Kaashi.” He could die. “Do you...?”
“Do you like me?” You seem struck speechless. His breath catches until you nod, a minuscule jerk of the chin down. He exhales into the cool Tokyo night, dark eyelashes sweeping down in a fluttering motion. “Will you let it be me?”

Akaashi Keiji remembers with clarity the moment he realized he was attracted to Bokuto Koutarou.
To be honest, Akaashi had been drawn to the boy since he first laid eyes on him. Bokuto was a star—he was bright, beautiful and played volleyball like no one else. Innocent, 15-year-old Akaashi had never stood stood a chance.
But that feeling, that magnetism that drew Akaashi to his upperclassmen was never very grounded. It wasn’t necessarily something he could put his finger on. He knew he liked Bokuto, knew he liked being around him, knew they had a special sort of chemistry that not many other teammates were lucky enough to have.
And by the start of his second year, the Vice Captain of Fukurodani was even aware that he might, maybe, possibly have a tiny little crush on his Captain.
Just a small one, really. Nothing to worry about., really.
Everything came crashing down, however, during their match against Nekoma in the Tokyo qualifiers.
“Are you feeling better now?” Akaashi asked, glancing over at Bokuto, who was bent over slightly with his back turned. He’d just hit a powerful cross shot that ricocheted off of Yaku’s receive and into the surprised crowd.
A cross shot that he’d insisted he’d forgotten how to do just minutes earlier.
For a few beats, Bokuto remained still. Then, in one fluid movement, he turned slightly and unfolded.
Akaashi’s eyes widened involuntarily as the young man threw his head back in bliss. His fists were clenched, chest puffed out in obvious pride, and his eyes were squeezed shut, as if he was reliving scoring the point from memory.
Akaashi’s breath lodged in his throat.
For just a second, he let his gaze swept over Bokuto’s body, watching as a bead of sweat traveled down his throat, over his Adam’s apple and down into the from of his jersey. His broad upper body, and his powerful arms strained against the sweat-soaked fabric.
He had never looked more powerful, more radiant and beautiful than he did in that moment.
Tumblr media
Oh gods, Akaashi thought, I’m /attracted/ to him. Like, /sexually/ attracted. As in, /I want him to pin me against the wall/ attracted.
Panicked, Akaashi tried to school his features back to normal. He swallowed harshly, adopting his usual blank expression as he turned back to his other teammates.
“He’s fine,” he nodded, once, and Konoha gave him a thankful smile and nod in return.
The rest of the game went well, with Akaashi only mildly distracted by the fact he’d just had a major revelation. They won, because of course they did, and Akaashi celebrated—even sending Kozume a snarky smirk as they shook hands under the net.
It was not until much later, when they were headed back to Fukurodani on the team bus, that he allowed himself to think about it again.
So.
He was physically attracted to Bokuto.
This was interesting, yet altogether unsurprising. He had often found himself looking at other… /parts/ of his friend that weren’t his eyes.
He wouldn’t lie that he’d stolen glances of the young man’s backside in his favorite pair of joggers. The ones that were much too tight, in all the right places.
His legs, those powerful thighs restrained by his long kneepads… it had always been distracting, for some reason that he was now starting to acutely understand.
Bokuto’s lips were also quite nice to look at. Akaashi had always thought so. But now, he thought he might like to taste them one day, too.
Well, Akaashi thought absently, this was sure to be an interesting rest of the school year…
//
That panel has always been my favorite of Bokuto, and I think it completely encapsulates the appeal of his character. NOTE: This was inspired by Novus’ gorgeous redraw!  Thanks for reading everyone! I'm sick this weekend but this made me feel better lol

I want to make a request.
Kaima literally being kind and friendly and calm and all to literally everyone. (Including parents, classmate etc) Until they becoming eventually scared from it.
Sorry i just like Kaima sm 😅
Hi! Thank you for liking Kaima even he's feared by his surroundings (including his siblings and best friends, if he gets angry). Honestly as the author i feel like i still have to rewrite his character because im not satisfied yet (Including the other characters too).
Okay, enough. I have an idea where he's acting kind and friendly to his best friends and siblings. So here we go!
Also sorry for late reply, I've been busy lately. Please understand that I have many things to do in real life than in social media 😅🙏
Even If it's Just Once
This story takes place 2 years ago, when the oldest Saimatsu child, Ayame still alive and well
Today at The Momota Household, The Boys doing their usual (ruthless) training along with Keiji and Mako. Somehow Ayame also joined them. Well, more like watching and cheering for them especially for her little brother as spending her time off from her carrier.
Yeah, it's break time finally. Although it's only 10 minutes, but during those break time.. Ayame and Kaima were sitting next to each other. The two close friends discussed about something…
"You really enjoying this, Ayame nee-san.. Is it really fun to watched us training?" Kaima asked as he sat down next to Ayame.
"Yeah, it's been awhile since the last time I watched you guys! Watching something you like always managed to release your stress, don't you think so, Kaima-kun?" Ayame replied with her usual friendly smile.
"Well, you're not wrong"
"Btw, Kaima-kun…" Ayame's expression changed from happy to thinking as she said that "I've been thinking about this.. for a long time"
"….Eh?"
Ayame's face grew closer to Kaima's, making him blushed a bit "You know? I think you actually can make friendly face, like your brother and father always do"
"Huh? Why did you say that…?"
Ayame stared Kaima's eyes deeply, observing every inch of his eyes "Because.. despite of your look, you're really a kind guy and can be friendly if you want to.. Somehow I knew it, your eyes radiate a good heart" as she finished her words, The young musician's smile returned and she moved her face away from Kaima and then returning her composure.
After Ayame's action earlier the in-training soldier turned his face away from her… A bit
"..The book cover and its contents are not necessarily the same, so that's kinda irrelevant right?"
"Hm, I agree but.. After this break ended, why don't you trying to be expressive to them? Even if it's just once?"
--Hearing that statements, Kaima turned back his face to Ayame. With surprised expression
"Huh why?"
"I'm not telling you to be always expressive, but just once. Try it, try something that you never tried before. If you wanted to continue it or not.. it's up to you. The important thing is just try it first. It's such a waste if you don't try something different while your life it's just only once, right? 😊"
=====
============
Then…
"Shinki nii-chan, are you okay? You look really pale.."
"Ah, I'm okay Keiji…"
"You can do it, Shinki nii-chan!! Fight desu!!"
"Of course we can, Keiji-chan. Can be crazy"
The three boys finished talking after Kaima approached them as he telling his next training menu…..
"All right! Let's continue now! Are you ready?!"
………….
The four of them (please don't forget that Mako also participating) successfully speechless, they even lost strength to react. They continue like this until 5 minutes…
"UWWWWOOOOOOOOHHHHH!!!????? 😱😱😱😱😱"
"What the…"
"Ka--Kai??? What's wrong with you?!"
"Kacchan has been purified??? By what and who???!!"
"YOURE NOT MY USUAL NII-CHAN RIGHT?!! YOU'RE IMPOSTER RIGHT?! CUZ HE'S LITERALLY NOT THE TYPE WHO SMILE THAT BRIGHTLY AT THE TIME LIKE THIS!! HE'S LIKE ZUUUUNGGGG AND RAWR!!! Y'KNOW????"
"…This is your real brother, Keiji"
((Mako too traumatized to react))
Hearing their various amazing reaction, Kaima exhaled his breath, even they've completely lost their will to continue the training session.
"Huh… Just as I thought, it's better if I'm not expressive like that. Ayame nee-san.. really not like me."
"Hm.. their reactions were rude.. actually, but it wasn't bad to try, right? Or you never know it"
Note : Kaima actually can be expressive, in a certain situation (And that's just a smile)
Hope you like it!!

If Sara does end up getting rescued by Keiji from her father and asunaro, how would shin feel about it? And how did Keiji's fingers get chopped off?
Well I’ll start with the fingers question since that actually does happen in the bad end.
So it’s a normal day, Sara has been “working” for a while now, when dad tells her she has to decide on something again. She holds back a sigh, knowing the drill, and tells him to show her what it is. And thus Keiji Shinogi is bought in front of her, hands tied behind his back, gagged, and pushed to the ground. He’s been peeping into Asunaro business, and well, we can’t let that go undisciplined.
Of course she doesn’t HAVE to decide on this one seeing how close her and Keiji were. If Meister hears her decision and realizes she just doesn’t have the guts to hand down a proper punishment, he can decide for her. Sara of course hates any idea of her dad handing down the punishment, so she thinks on her own. Something. Think of something Sara. As her dad tells her she’s taking a lot of time she finally shouts out a yubitsume ritual.
Sure. Yubitsume. If she demands enough joints Dad can see it. So, how much does Sara think Keiji should give? Sara feels sick to her stomach. She’s going to be doing permanent damage. Why did she say yubitsume? She tries to think of numbers that aren’t too radical but they all sound like they’ll lead to dad taking the lead.
“3 full fingers.”
And it was accepted. What a nightmare.
Keiji knew the way this worked. Have her come up with a worse idea than what Meister could think. He can tell by the man’s smile that he’s pleased with himself despite his daughters clear attempts not to cry. Disgusting. He does his best to look unaffected despite… well despite the fact he’s being told to chop his limbs off.
Sara is just telling him to breathe throughout the thing. She sounds one note away from hysterical, and he doesn’t really think joking to lighten the mood is gonna do any favors with the way she looks ready to pass out. Casual conversation also feels like… a no go. He just thanks her for her advice (advice that comes off like she’s seen this before) and moves on.
Of course severing the digits isn’t enough. Meister reminds them that part of the ritual is handing the severed fingers to the one who ordered them. Keiji can tell that Sara just wants this to end… so might as well get it closer to the end. He wraps them up and hands them to her, apologizing when he sees her horrified expression… though on second thought, apologizing might make it worse with what the situation is.
It doesn’t take too much time for him to be “escorted” out. These asunaro guys sure aren’t big old softies. Still, as his vision fades, Keiji has to be seeing wrong… why would Sara be going to that monster for comfort?
Anyways!
There is a set time when Sara leaves Asunaro on her own after her father dies (and also fakes her death) but if it came earlier in the timeline… well to be honest, I think she’d spend the rest of her life fighting against Meister and Asunaro for freedom. It’d take her a long time to be safe.
As for Shin, he’d probably be… mixed. A lot of time after the death game is spent with him dealing with mixed emotions about Sara, and seeing her in the state she is during those years at Asunaro would probably change his perspective at least a little. Sara probably wouldn’t even have the strength to fight back to a lot of his provocation anymore so it really would be like kicking a puppy, and I don’t think he’d get much enjoyment from that.
Still, he is still processing his grief from the death game and Kanna. Also the fact Keiji ghosted them is not something he is going to take kindly too.

so i guess...... the keiji contract decision is logic v. emotion as well....?
i literally cannot stop thinking about this choice.
so, there's three possibilities of what could happen to keiji– he could die either way, live either way, or midori could actually be saying the truth and one choice will kill him while the other will save him.
the most boring outcome to me is the first. imagine sara deciding to bear the consequences of signing the contract and keiji still dies 😶😶 assuming the contract is a bad thing, in the first place. though that's what it's framed as, we can't really be sure. the only guess i have as to what it'll do is kill the dolls, but i think it's more likely that it'll be something unprecedented. also, i'd just be really upset if keiji died here. i still want to see him grow !!
if one choice kills him and one doesn't, i still wonder what the consequences will be of us saving him. it'd really suck to have to make that choice blind but it's very interesting–
the one possibility i'm PARTICULARLY interested in, though, is if he doesn't die either way. it would make the cliffhanger a little disingenuous, sure, but it'd be cool if we as sara had to face the consequences of choosing to let keiji die, then having him be alive regardless and know of our decision. imagine if whether or not u chose to save him or not had a bearing on how his character would develop for the rest of the game... omg.
and that last one is kinda where i'd think the logic v. emotion theme would tie in more heavily, if it did. because if this decision counted in terms of whether you're going on an emotional route or a logical one, then signing the contract to save keiji would be the "good" choice, right? but it seems like such a bad decision to make when you have absolutely no idea of the repercussions of that choice.
idk man. i just think it'd be REALLY cool if our choice had an effect on his character in that way wjdhsj, especially since keiji's been somewhat influenced by sara thus far. and since we've had an impact on people's characters thru our decisions with say, the shin lives route, where we make him a vengeful regretful and vaguely logical version of himself that is significantly skewed from his typical nature.
but yeah idk :'D i'm so excited for 3-1b

Your window was only open slightly, meant for allowing the cool air to flow in, while also aiding for a certain somebody’s quick escape if it came down to that.
The Fukurōdani Academy Group Summer Camp started tomorrow. Well. Today, if you count the fact that it was already 2AM.
It had originally been 11PM. 3 hours ago, Akaashi Keiji had crawled up the side of your house and tapped his knuckles ever so softly on your window. It had freaked you out for a second until he texted you “Lemme in”, to which you then moved to the window to greet him with a confused look.
“Akaashi, if my parents hear you-” you started, glancing over your shoulder and hoping they hadn’t somehow managed to get to your bedroom door without you noticing.
“Then stay quiet and help me in,” he shrugged, slowly plopping into your room and smiling down at you. “How’s your evening?”
You just stared at him, “Akaashi, it’s late!” You hissed as he crawled into your bed and got comfortable like he was meant to be there. “What’re you doing awake anyways? Don’t you have to be up early for your training camp?”
Akaashi just gave a hum and a nod, patting the other side of the bed he wasn’t currently occupying and giving you a smile. You rolled your eyes and tucked yourself in next to him. It didn’t matter that the two of you were slightly squished, if anything your bed actually felt comfier this way.
Without any more questions, you and Akaashi laid there for hours, whispering as the time ticked by. Your legs slowly tangled together under the sheets and you fit in his side as if you were made to be there.
“What’re you thinking about?” Akaashi asked suddenly, his voice coated with fatigue, eyes lazily opening to look over at you and your pensive expression. It had been so long between topics, you had actually started to think he had fallen asleep.
“What do you mean?” You smiled back at him, your fingers still tracing along the lines on his palm like you had been for the past 10 minutes.
“You’re too quiet to be not thinking. And you’re obviously not sleeping. So what’re you thinking about?” Akaashi explained, interlacing your hands together for a moment. Just to see how they fit.
“Why did you come?” You questioned after a moment, turning to really look him in the eyes this time. Akaashi had such a soft demeanour about him tonight, a gentleness that you hardly ever saw when he and Bokuto were getting up to their usual mischief. But he was always kind and sweet to you, always took a moment of his day to tuck your hair behind your ear, or pluck a piece of fluff off your shoulder. Always put his plans on pause to ask you about your day, texted you about life and school and plans for the future.
His future included nationals. Playing in front of crowds and cameras, screaming fans and loud cheers. His future included volleyball. But you always wondered if there was room for you in that future too.
Akaashi paused, watching your eyes and for a moment, you could’ve sworn he had looked at your lips, a flicker of something different crossing his eyes. “I needed to see you.”
He said it so casually. As if this was normal. As if it was normal for a guy to crawl into a girl’s bedroom and lay in her bed like they were already married.
“I see you practically every day when we’re at school,” you pointed out, brushing a piece of hair from his eyes and trying to determine what he was really thinking because lord knows you could never tell.
Akaashi just stared some more at you, eyes slowly blinking from exhaustion. “I’ll be busy the next few weeks. With volleyball. And I know you’ve got plans for the summer too. I just... wanted to see you before I got all busy. I wanted to just be here with you and pretend like i could come back here.”
“You could,” you added quickly, maybe a bit too quickly, because then he looked at you with surprise. “I like it when you come by,” you admitted to him quietly, sitting up slightly in your bed. “I’m going to miss you while you’re all busy this summer.”
“I can make time,” Akaashi said hurriedly, his teeth tugging on his lips as he sat up with you. “For you. I can make time.”
You look at him with a smile, his thumb grazing over your hand again as he interlaced your fingers together once more. The two of you sat there, both wanting to ask the hovering question that sat buried in your throats.
What are we?
We’re friends, you’d always insist to your friends.
But friends don’t come crawling into your room at the middle of the night to hold you and hold your hand.
We’re just friends, Akaashi had told the team before with flushed cheeks.
But no friend of Akaashi’s had ever made him so nervous, Bokuto pointed out. And friends don’t stare at each other across the room the way you two do.
What are we?
“You should go,” you pointed out as you felt the tensions rising, glancing at the clock. It was almost 3:30AM now. Maybe it was sleep exhaustion or maybe you were just tired of never knowing what you were to Akaashi, but you knew if you didn’t get him out of your room now, you might end up spilling your guts to him.
Had she felt me try to get the courage to confess? Akaashi wondered as he gathered his things, moving to leave from the window again. But not before he wrapped you up into another hug, pressed a gentle kiss on your forehead. Do friends give forehead kisses?
“I’ll miss you,” he stated as he started to climb out the window.
“It’s not like you’re going across the world,” you teased with an awkward sort of laugh. “I’ll come see you guys maybe. When you’re not too busy.”
It could’ve been your imagination, but he seemed to lighten up at this idea. He nodded and pulled his backpack off for a moment to pull a hoodie from it. “To keep you warm when I’m not around,” he told you as he handed it to you. So casual. Like this was just something friends do.
“T-Thanks,” you tried to hide your smile, tried to hide the fact that you wanted to squeal out like a little girl. You held onto the hoodie as he gave you another little wave and crawled out of your house. You held it tighter as he landed on the ground, looking up at you and smiling at you like you were his romantic interest.
Do friends look at each other like that?
When he disappeared from view, you held the hoodie to your chest, smiling as you smelt his cologne or body wash or whatever the hell it was that made Akaashi smell like Akaashi. You crawled back into bed after closing your window tightly and turning off the lights, still gripping onto the hoodie he had left with you.
Do friends miss each other almost immediately after they’re gone? A few days later and there was Akaashi crawling through your window again. You heard the knock on the glass and found him with a tired smile on his face.
“Are you just going to keep visiting me in the middle of the night?” You asked with a giggle, watching him flop into your bed and open his arms asking you to join him.
“I have to look at sweaty annoying boys all day. What’s wrong with seeing a pretty girl every now and then?” He asked as you crawled in. Do friends say things like that to each other?
“Aw it can’t be all that bad,” you insisted, avoiding his eyes as you tried to wave off the compliment. “Bokuto is rather nice to look at.”
Akaashi huffed a bit, tickling your sides briefly until you reminded him in a harsh whisper that your parents were asleep. “Stop thinking about another boy while I’m here with you,” he stuck his tongue out at you playfully.
“Sorry I’ll stick to thinking about them when you’re not around,” you teased, making him poke at your side some more.
Did friends get jealous that easily?
“Why did you come?” You asked him after a while, tracing soft lines with your finger tips down his cheek and jawline, as if carefully measuring out a masterpiece because that’s exactly what he was. “Is the training camp really that bad?”
“Nah it’s alright. It’s fun getting to play with some new teams. Bokuto gets all excited about showing off his skills,” Akaashi responded softly, his eyes closing slowly as the two of you spoke.
“Aren’t you sore? From all your games?”
“Extremely. I’m not going to feel my legs tomorrow that’s for sure.”
“You shouldn’t have walked all this way then, idiot. You’re going to tire out your legs even more.”
“It’s worth it if I get to see you,” his voice was so quiet you weren’t even sure he actually said it. You looked up at him and found his eyes open again, watching you as if gauging your reaction.
Did friends make you feel like your heart would beat out of your chest? Do friends walk all the way to your house in the middle of the night after exercising all day?
What are we?
You wanted to ask, the words forming at your lips. The question was begging to be answered, pleading at your vocal cords to produce some sort of sound.
But what if you were reading into things?
What if friends really do all the things you wondered about? What if you weren’t exactly friends but weren’t anything more either? What if Akaashi saw you as a placeholder. A warm body to be everything a girlfriend could be until he found someone actually worthy.
What if you really were just friends?
Akaashi left a few moments later, groaning softly as he stretched and giving you another exhausted smile as he insisted he’d be back some other time. He traded sweaters with you, pulling out a brand new one for you from his bag and taking the one he had left earlier.
“I’m okay with this one Akaashi, why are you giving me another?” You asked confusedly.
He shrugged and you could’ve sworn there was a blush on his cheeks, “Just cause.”
He wrapped you up in a hug, pressed another kiss to your forehead and slipped out the window. Then spent the whole walk back shaking his head at himself for not saying what he wanted to say.
“Because I like how my clothes smell like you after you wear them,” he spoke aloud into the quiet night. “Because I wanted a part of me to always be with you. Because I don’t want you thinking about Bokuto, I want you thinking about me. Because I wanted to walk all this way to tell you how I felt and I chickened out again.”
The reasons piled into his head and he angrily kicked at some rocks as he walked. Why was it so much easier to think of why when he walked away?
“Because I want to know what we are,” he whispered to himself, stopping his footsteps and staring at the sky for a moment before walking further from you.
More days passed and you couldn’t help but feel disappointed when you didn’t hear from Akaashi as much. He was busy. You were busy. Everyone was busy, you told yourself. It’s not like he forgot about you. Or that he decided to ghost you.
It’s not like he found someone else. It was a volleyball training camp, who could he have found?
You wanted to tell yourself that there wasn’t anyone else and even if there was, it’s not like you had a claim to him anyway. You and Akaashi were just friends.
But you still waited for him every night, looking out the window in hopes he’d come.
Finally you heard a little tap at your window, and there was Akaashi with another tired grin. He seemed like he was glowing more than usual. He seemed bigger, more toned under his jacket.
“I missed you,” you told him shyly and the two of you curled back under the sheets together again.
“I’m sorry,” he sighed, pressing his lips briefly against your forehead. “I got all caught up in training and even after the day is gone, everyone still wants to practice. Even that blond boy from Karasuno seems like he’s getting into it.”
You smiled and nodded, thinking about the few texts that Akaashi seemed to get out to you when he wasn’t so busy, “I’m sure everyone’s training hard for Nationals.”
Akaashi nodded and smiled, shifting so he was lying on his back and staring at your ceiling, “It’s getting really close. We got to be the best we can be.”
“You’re already really good. But I know you guys will win it all,” you beamed up at him excitedly. It was one of your favourite things, watching them play. And these National games always came with such excitement.
“Only if you’re there cheering us on,” Akaashi glanced at you, as if he had asked if you were coming and waiting for you to confirm.
“Of course,” you nodded up at him. “I wanna watch my boys beat everyone! Wipe the floor with them!”
Akaashi smirked and held onto you a little tighter, fingers dancing along your skin gently.
Did friends send tingles up your spine when they touched you? Because you hadn’t noticed it with anyone else but him.
“I can’t stay long tonight, love,” he whispered to you softly after an hour of whispered conversations passed. “I told Bokuto I’d wake up early with him and get some more practice.”
You nodded understandingly, though your heart felt a little as he started to move, “After your camp, maybe we can start doing all those summer things you wanted to do. When you’re not practicing of course.”
Akaashi chuckled and nodded, “Sure. Ice cream, find a beach, go swimming, whoop your ass in a water balloon fight,” he listed off.
You rolled your eyes, shoving his shoulder back as you insisted that he was definitely going to lose a water balloon fight.
His hands grabbed you by the shoulders, pulling you into another hug. This time a bit tighter, like he was scared you were fading away, “I’m sorry I can’t stay,” he murmured to you, pulling away slightly to look down at you. “But I promise I’ll come see you soon.”
Why did everything he say always seemed like something a boyfriend would say? Do friends say things like that?
“I know you’re busy, Akaashi, don’t worry,” you told him with a small shrug, staring at your hands nervously.
“Y/N...”
There was something in his tone... something so foreign. You looked up at him and saw nervousness in his eyes, his hands sliding down your arms to hold your hands.
“Yea?”
Akaashi cleared his throat awkwardly, his eyes glancing between yours and your hands.
“I- We...” he started.
What are we?
Three words.
Or maybe he should ask what you wanted you two to be?
Is that too much? Is that too pushy?
What if you didn’t think there needed to be anything more to this relationship? What if he was overthinking it? What if this was just for fun and you really were into Bokuto?
“Are you okay, Akaashi?” You asked after a moment of him stuttering.
“Yeah... we’ll do all those things and more,” he finally managed out, his eyes avoiding yours more now. “Promise.”
You nodded slowly, wishing he would keep holding your hand as you two moved away from each other. He traded sweaters with you again, pressed another kiss to your forehead, and disappeared into the night.
You spent the night wondering what he had started saying. Why was he so nervous tonight? What was it about tonight that made him so awkward? You hadn’t seen Akaashi nervous in a lot of situations. He was always so calm, but not tonight for some reason. Could it be that he was nervous… just like you were? Could it actually be that you two were something other than just friends?
It was the last day of the summer training camp and the smell of cooking meat made Akaashi’s mouth water. He looked around him, carefully calculating exactly what kind of meats he wanted to grab off of the barbecues. He and Komi chatted with Tsukishima briefly about their baby Ace’s tantrums, Akaashi smirking to himself as he watched his idiotic best friend going around with Hinata, drooling over the lunch.
“When Bokuto told me to swing by for lunch, this isn’t quite what I expected.”
There was a little lurch in Akaashi’s chest, hearing that voice. He swung around to see you standing there, Suzumeda giving you a little wave after she had shown you to where the team was. “Glad you could swing by! It’s not every day we get to hang out with Akaashi’s friend,” she snickered, a teasing tone in the way she said friend.
You and Akaashi both just looked at her funny before turning back to each other, a smile on your face, “Did you miss me?”
Akaashi just gave you a little smirk, grabbing you by your wrist and pulling you into a hug, “Obviously.” He smiled down at you. “Sorry, did you say Bokuto told you to come?” He asked suddenly, looking around to find a wide smiled owl looking Bokuto behind him.
“I just thought that you’d actually smile a bit if she came by!” Bokuto insisted with a laugh, hands on his hips all proud-like. “Good to see you, Y/N! Must be nice to come by and hang out with Akaashi huh?”
You smiled up at him and moved to pat his head affectionately, “Of course! But I like coming to see you too, Bokuto,” you teased.
Bokuto’s smirk seemed different this time as he gave Akaashi a wink, “Sure but there’s nothing wrong with being here solely for Akaashi so you two have some time together,” he grinn, poking your nose playfully.
Before you could ask him what he meant, questioning his word choices and teasing sort of tone, Bokuto got called across the field, eagerly grabbing a plate with the food.
“Are you hungry?” Akaashi asked, nodding towards the gloriously smelling food. You nodded but stayed at his side, finding the massive groups of boys a little daunting. “I’ll get you something then, you can stay around here.”
“Thank you,” you squeezed his arm gently and he just gave you one of those kind soft smiles before disappearing into the crowd.
“Come on! She’s super sweet, you’ll love her!” Suzumeda was saying, dragging a bunch of girls in your direction. You blinked in surprise, Shirofuku giving you a wave as she also made her way over.
“How you doing, Y/N?” Shirofuku wrapped her arms around you excitedly, squeezing you into a hug. “You should’ve come with us! You could’ve been a big help keeping these boys in line.”
You laughed, shaking your head, “I’m not quite sure I could do what you guys do,” you insisted shyly, smiling at the other girls who were smiling at you. “Hiya! I’m Y/N Y/L/N,” you offered to the new faces.
Soon, you met all the managers from the other schools and it didn’t take long for you all to be laughing and joking about the various attitudes and characters your teams all had.
“Aren’t you hungry, Y/N?” Kiyoko asked suddenly, noting the lack of food in your hand. “We have lots, and I’m sure some of these boys don’t need to have 7 helpings!”
You nodded and glanced behind your shoulder, finding Akaashi yelling at Bokuto for trying to steal all the meat. “Akaashi already said he’d grab me a plate. Figure it’s better than me getting lost in that group,” you pointed out and turned your eyes back to the girls.
They were all sharing grins with each other, Suzumeda giggling, “Aren’t they adorable?”
You blinked in surprise as they laughed some more, tilting your head, “Who?”
“You!” Ōtaki laughed. “I don’t know Akaashi much but Shirofuku and Suzumeda told me you two really bring the best out of each other.”
You paused a bit more and the Fukurodani girls noted your hesitation, “Sorry, was it supposed to be a secret?” Shirofuku asked with wide eyes. “Leave it to Bokuto to go spilling everyone’s secrets!”
Your eyebrows furrowed more as you glanced between the girls, “I’m so confused. What secret?”
“That you and Akaashi were dating! We heard he snuck away between days here at the summer camp to go see you and that he finally confessed!” Suzumeda explained, her smile getting more and more stiff as you seemed more and more confused.
“Akaashi and I are just friends,” you insisted nervously, heart pounding against your chest. “W-Why would Bokuto tell people that?”
“I’m sorry, Y/N, we didn’t mean to put you on the spot like that! I thought it was pretty obvious you two liked each other,” Kiyoko admitted, the rest of the girls apologizing profusely. You shook your hands in front of each other, insisting that it wasn’t their fault that Bokuto was being dumb again, your face heating up from embarrassment.
You wondered just how many other people Bokuto had been whispering this news to, but it didn’t take long for you to find out. You excused yourself from the girls, saying you were going to find Akaashi and your food, but really just feeling way too embarrassed to look them in the eye.
You met with a few Karasuno third years, Daichi grinning as he told you that Akaashi had mentioned you before and said nothing but good things.
“It’s really great to finally meet you!” Sugawara had chimed in. “Bokuto told us about your new relationship so congratulations! I have to say, Akaashi seems like he’s smiling more that you’re around.”
You quickly insisted to them as well that you and Akaashi were in fact not dating and that you weren’t quite sure why Bokuto had gone round telling otherwise. The third years apologized on their behalf, sheepishly walking back to their team as you excused yourself yet again.
Even some of the Furkurodani boys grinned at you and gave you a thumbs up, thanking you for making Akaashi smile every now and then. As much as you wanted to take credit for those smiles, you weren’t quite sure how to awkwardly tell them that you and their setter were just. friends.
Did Bokuto not realize that you and Akaashi were just friends? Why was he torturing you like this? It’s not like he didn’t know you were constantly staring at his best friend. You wanted to slip away, hide in a corner, because now it felt like everyone was looking at you differently. You were no longer just a friend of the Fukurodani boys, now you were Akaashi’s girlfriend. You wanted that title more than anything, but not like this. And what would he say when he found out? He’d probably kill Bokuto for insinuating that the two of you were dating because you two were just friends. Just. Friends. And nothing more.
You finally managed to find Akaashi, who was giving a weird look to some of the Karasuno boys, rubbing the back of his neck with his free hand, “-who told you that?” He asked, a slight hint of surprise in his voice.
“Bokuto!” A small redhead grinned widely, catching your eye and his eyes widening, “Your boyfriend is so cool!” He yelled at you before stuffing his face with more food.
Akaashi whirled around to see you, both of you sharing a look of what the hell is going on? “I’m going to kill him,” he huffed as he walked over to you, handing you a plate of food. “I’m sorry I took so long but I piled enough on there for the two of us. But… everyone keeps asking me… questions.”
“About… us?” You asked slowly and he just shifted in his stance, nodding slowly. “Me too. Bokuto seems to have a big mouth for things that don’t exist.”
Don’t exist, the words rang in Akaashi’s head as he tried to remind himself that as much as he wanted, you two weren’t dating. He wasn’t sure why Bokuto had it in his mind that you were, or that he could go telling literally everyone around, but he would kill him first and ask questions later.
“Hey hey hey!” Bokuto yelled, as if he felt you two thinking about him and magically appeared behind you two. “How’s the happy couple!?”
“Bokuto, what did you do?” You groaned, not at all hungry anymore even though the food on the plate still smelled incredible.
“Do?” He asked, tilting his head as Akaashi groaned. “Why do you two look so stressed? It’s a BBQ!”
“Bokuto, you idiot. Why does everyone think we’re dating?” Akaashi asked him, flicking his upperclassman in the head. “What did you do?”
“Aren’t you?” Bokuto asked with a furrowed brow, looking between you two. “I thought all those nights Akaashi snuck away, I thought he finally got up the courage to tell you how he feels,” he told you, an oblivious and concerned look in his eyes. “Did he not tell you?”
“N-No,” you managed to get out, your face feeling hot again. What would it take to just forget all of this happened? To forget that Bokuto just insinuated that Akaashi has feelings for you? It had to be a lie right? Akaashi was going to insist that he didn’t have feelings for you and that you two were just friends. You didn’t want to hear it - you’d give anything to just slip away and forget this whole day ever happened.
“Bokuto, I hadn’t told her yet,” Akaashi sighed instead, shaking his head.
“You chickened out again?” Bokuto gaped, patting his friend’s shoulder in comfort. “It’s okay, I’m sure it’ll go great when you finally tell her!” He insisted, as if you weren’t standing right there.
“Tell me what?” You asked quietly, watching Akaashi’s somewhat strained expression. Why did he seem so nervous? What did Bokuto mean when he said Akaashi chickened out again? You didn’t want to believe that all of this meant what you thought it meant because getting your hopes up was terrifying. But you stared at him anyways, waiting for someone to explain to you like you were a child.
Bokuto just grinned, looking between you two as if watching a film and waiting for the ending. “Go on, tell her!” Bokuto insisted to his friend, nudging him towards you.
Akaashi had a flush on his cheeks and he was starting to avoid your eyes. His weight shifted back and forth on his feet as he played with his fingers, sighing quietly, “I didn’t want to do this in front of everyone, Y/N,” he admitted softly.
Your heart was pounding in your ears. This couldn’t be happening now, could it? You were just friends, you were just friends, you were just friends. The words had been repeating in your head ever since Akaashi had first snuck into your room. You two were only friends - there was nothing more. You had to believe that. Because if there was something more, it meant leaving your heart open to be broken. What if he only liked you because you were available? What if he didn’t really see anything in you? What if he moved away after high school and the two of you drifted apart? Losing a friend hurts, but if you two took the next step and then you lost your friend and a lover? It would be devastating.
“Stop overthinking,” Akaashi stated after a moment, his eyes finally catching yours and seeing that telltale sign that you were spiraling mentally. He took the plate from your hands, setting it on a nearby table so you weren’t holding it for forever. “I like you. I’ve always liked you. I wanted to tell you that night before the summer camp. And every other time that I came to see you. I’ve been wanting to tell you since that day we spent at the park and you kept picking flowers for me. You don’t make me feel like I need to be anything more than me.” Akaashi swallowed hard as he watched your eyes, feeling a little light headed as the words spilled from his lips. “I know we’re friends. But I don’t want to be just friends anymore, Y/N…”
“You don’t?” You asked softly, biting down on your inner cheek nervously. Was this really happening? Your hands were trembling at your sides, looking up at Akaashi like everyone else had disappeared (though you could still feel Bokuto squirming and squealing beside you, watching the interaction).
Akaashi just gave you that same smile he always did, taking one of your hands and giving it a squeeze, “I’m tired of always telling people that we’re just friends. I don’t want just any friend in my sweaters and I don’t go climbing into people’s rooms in the middle of the night just because they’re a friend.”
“You did what?” Bokuto gasped, eyes widening but immediately shushing when Akaashi sent him a little glare for interrupting.
Akaashi took another breath and just shook his head slightly, “I want us to be more than friends, Y/N. So maybe if you’re okay with it, we can start telling people that Bokuto isn’t a liar and that… you are my girlfriend?”
You looked around the space, expecting the sky to be falling or some imaginary creature to randomly show up. Because this had to be a dream right?
“You’re not dreaming, dummy,” Akaashi laughed, seeing the panic in your eyes. “It’s okay if you don’t want to. But I needed this off my chest,” he explained, starting to let go of your hand. You watched as a flash of disappointment crossed his eyes before you grabbed his hand again, squeezing.
“Of course I want to,” you breathed out shakily. “I just… always thought you wanted to be just friends. But I’ve always wanted something more with you.”
Akaashi’s face broke out into the biggest grin you’d ever seen before, pulling you into a tighter hug than he’s ever given you before, actually forcing a breath from your lungs.
“Don’t kill her before your first date!” Bokuto screeched, trying to pry Akaashi’s arms from around you. “God, that took you guys forever! I gotta go tell everyone that I’m not a liar now!” Bokuto beamed, rushing away from the new couple to shout it from the top of his lungs that his best friend finally had a girlfriend.
Akaashi laughed a bit and shook his head, watching his idiotic friend bounce around. “You should eat,” he pointed out after your hug was interrupted by the sound of your stomach growling.
You nodded and smiled up at him, “Only if you eat with me.”
“Of course. Can’t leave my girlfriend to eat on her own now, can I?” He teased, a smile on his face as he realized how easy and natural it seemed to call you that. The two of you walked around before finding a spot to eat, mingling with those around you.
You watched as Akaashi talked to people, so calm and almost unaffected by everything that just happened. But then he’d look at you with a smile, open his mouth for you to feed him and take your hand in his, and you felt like you were falling for him all over again. You couldn’t help but laugh to yourself later thinking about how many people you were going to have to hear “I KNEW IT” from. Because maybe you and Akaashi were just a little bit more than friends.
Okay fine, a lot more.

a/n: i’m sorry for not posting as much. i’ve always wondered how people write really long fics, and here i am. i spent last night + this morning working on this, so i hope you all enjoy <3 this i planned to be a one shot so i probably won’t be doing a part two
‘are you awake right now?’
akaashi’s fingers ghosted over his phone, a slight cringe filling his mind as he thought about sending the message. eventually, everyone around him started to pick up on his quiet, drunken tone.
“who’s the girl you’re texting?” kenma asked.
“it’s no one...” he said back softly, locking his phone. as much as he tried to play it off as if he wasn’t texting anyone, he knew that one of the boys were going to comment about it sooner or later.
“come on man, we all know it’s hayami,” kuroo interrupted. akaashi knew kuroo meant it as a joke. as much as akaashi knew that kuroo was joking, yet there was still that smirk that rested on kuroo’s face that akaashi was so desperate to punch. it had been a year since akaashi had fallen out of love with hayami, a girl he knew he stood no chance with.
within that year, things had changed. he never used to drink or anything. he had changed so much. it bugged him whenever the other men talked about love and girls. he started to think why it couldn’t be him, why he couldn’t be the one talking about a girl he loves. he wanted to express the love he felt for the girl that ended up catching him by surprise when he least expected. the same type of love that everyone thought was for hayami.
one thing that akaashi was clear of was that he was deeply, and drunkenly in love with you.
like his friends knew, there had been a time in his life when he was in love with hayami. but after finding out that she had hooked up with one of his high school friends after she had told him that she loved him, akaashi started to fall out of love; and while he was in his broken state was when you came along. just when he needed.
everyone in the group was sure that akaashi was going to always be in love with hayami, only because she was said to be the hottest girl on campus; and he himself was a very good looking guy. everyone wanted her. unfortunately, akaashi’s friends couldn’t see that the love he had once felt for her had now died down into the pit of his chest.
however, despite telling himself that he had fallen out of love with hayami, he also hid behind the thoughts of your beautiful soft hair and the way you felt so small compared to him behind the fact that he still loved hayami. because, what is the point of loving someone who is just your closest friend?
akaashi brought the glass of alcohol to his lips once more, letting the cold liquid slide down his throat. he sighed as he just about finished his third glass. had the room gotten louder? it had gotten to the point where he couldn’t make out the words of what his friends were saying. it was just too loud.
he desperately wanted to text you. he wanted to send you cute messages about wanting to cuddle you, and kiss you and about how much he misses your touch and how he loves the feeling of your tiny body against his. after his third glass, those thoughts began to turn sexual. he felt different. had the others given him something?
he remembered asking kuroo earlier in the night for something that would ‘take his mind off of everything’, maybe kuroo had given him something. his hands held onto the glass again as he watched the man across from him fill his glass again.
his hands fiddled with his phone again. he so desperately wanted to message you right now, but his mind was clouded with sexual thoughts that he had never thought about before. he thought about how good he would be able to fill you up, how small you would be against him. he closed his eyes and sighed to the thought mentally. he wasn’t a pervert, at least he thought he wasn’t.
the two of you were just friends. he respected the boundaries of your friendship. he wasn’t going to push you, he didn’t even know if you felt the same way about him. but once again, his mind and everyone around him kept telling him that he was in love with hayami.
‘stick with the girl that all your friends know you love. you don’t wanna ruin your friendship with her’ said the narrator inside his mind, as if he was telling akaashi what to do instead of letting him figure this madness out on his own.
akaashi stood up from the chair, making his way to the bathroom. after minutes, he was looking at his messy reflection in the bathroom mirror. he knew it was time to go home. he could see it in his reflection. he was drunk. drunk and in love. he wanted you by his side right now. maybe fixing his jacket or his hair. how you would be on your tiptoes just to try and reach him. how fucking cute. or how you would stand on your tiptoes to try and reach his lips.
akaashi left the house, standing outside on the street waiting for a cab to pull up.
“what’s the address?” the man asked.
without a thought, he gave the man your street name. space and time had began to blur, his phone in his hands as the thought of you rushed throughout his mind.
you were in your room, sitting on your bed in an oversized shirt. your eyes scanned along the messages what you had just received from akaashi.
‘are you awake?’ 2:43AM
one missed call. 2:49AM
‘i miss you’ 2:54AM
‘i need your touch’ 2:58AM
one missed call. 3:02AM
‘need you so badly’ 3:06AM
he was high.
you knew he was. there was no way in hell akaashi would ever text you like this. he was in love with hayami. you were sure about this. you felt a stinging pain in your chest because it was obvious that you were deeply in love with akaashi keiji. you hated the way you were so badly separated from even being close to a relationship with him because the narrator in your mind always came back to remind you that akaashi was in fact in love with hayami.
your fingers typed back.
‘i am not hayami. you have the wrong contact’ 3:10AM
there was no reply back. you thought that maybe he reached hayami’s apartment and that he was currently somewhere with her right now. you threw a pillow over your head.
he was such an amazing man. you had fallen in love with the person that he is, how he would always be there whenever you needed him so desperately. he helped you when you were down. it made you mad that hayami only wanted akaashi for his popularity around campus and not for the amazing person that he is.
it was hard to try and get over those feeling that were painfully stabbing your heart. you wanted to be with him. god, you wanted to be with him so fucking badly. but you knew that it would never happen.
because akaashi was in love with hayami.
the sound of knocking on your door threw you out of your haze. you checked your phone. no new messages from him. you opened the door, your eyes widening as his drunken state stood right in front of you. you hated to admit that he always took your breath away, even right now. he was so tall compared to you.
“can i come in?” his voice asked softly.
you nodded your head, opening your door further so he could come inside.
akaashi sat himself down on your couch. he looked lost. he was lost. he watched as you sat down next to him, your eyes not even looking in his direction.
“are you... um... cold?” he asked, trying to make conversation.
you shook your head, silence running throughout the apartment.
“let me stay,” he blurted out. in fact, he had surprised you.
“you’re drunk,” you hated to admit the fact that his tone was deep and intoxicating.
your fingers gripped his chin harshly, fingers digging into his jaw. you looked directly into his eyes. “and i don’t want to sit here and listen to you drunkenly express your love for hayami. not tonight.”
he watched as you pulled away from him, “i don’t love hayami! i don’t love her, i don’t know why you would think that!”
you stood up, trying to leave the room. you didn’t want to be around him right now. however, his hand gripping onto your wrist stopped your movement entirely.
without thinking, your hand slapped his cheek. hard. you were so angry. angry at the fact that you kept putting up with the same shit after knowing he didn’t feel the same way about you. tears perked in the corners of your eyes as you tried to control your emotions.
his beautiful face was inches away from yours as he pulled you to sit back down on the couch. his soft lips met yours for the first time. the two of you sighed into the kiss, almost as if it was some sort of relief for the both of you. his kisses were gentle, even if he was messily drunk right now. he was always gentle with you.
a soft groan escaped his lips as you opened your mouth, his tongue finding its way easily. he softly whispered against the kiss, “let me taste you... please.”
so polite.
you pulled your lips from his, looking into his blue coloured eyes. your lips partly opened. he saw your shy little nod.
“that’s my girl.”
the next few minutes had went by slowly. his lips attacked yours, his large hands pulling your body to straddle his waist, your clothed cunt pressing against his growing erection. his hands helped you grind against him as his tongue explored your mouth. your hands held tightly onto his shoulders as his hands grasped your ass.
akaashi stood up, having you stand up with him. he walked you down to your bedroom, his lips stayed attached to yours.
the two of you made your way into the bedroom, akaashi’s jacket long discarded somewhere on the floor of the apartment. he gently pushed you down onto the bed.
his hands found your thighs, spreading your legs open. his touches were soft and careful. he didn’t want to hurt you.
“tell me what you want me to do.”
“i want you to touch me,” you said as he removed his shirt, “please touch me.”
his hand found your ankle and lifted your leg slightly, pressing a soft kiss onto your ankle. akaashi kissed his way up your leg, his fingers removing your underwear.
his hands pushed your skirt up, his hands now grasping your legs with a firm grip. all his attention was on your womanhood now.
“so fucking pretty.”
he gathered your slick with his tongue, before drawing circles on your clit. he loved how your moans started to grow in pitch.
you affected him more than the alcohol did.
your hands clenched onto the bedsheets so tightly. he listened to your moans as his tongue ran along your messy cunt. he knew that you were holding yourself back. he could tell that your hands were clenching tightly onto the bedsheets, holding yourself back from grinding on his face.
one of his hands moved from holding your thighs down to toy with your clit. he could feel your body shaking and squirming underneath his large build.
akaashi never pulled away. even when you were starting to cum on his tongue. one of your legs had made their way onto his shoulder, the other around your waist.
akaashi’s face was coated with your juices. he removed his fact from your cunt, looking at you.
“i need to ask you... do you want to continue?”
you almost wanted to cry out now. akaashi had just made you cum. he was here right now, in between your legs, shirtless looking at you. you loved him. you loved him so fucking much. you couldn’t believe that this was happening right now.
“i want to.”
“yeah?” he placed your leg back down onto the bed, “tell me exactly what you want from me.”
“i want you to fuck me. please... fuck me.”
akaashi gave you a little smirk as he reached for his belt. the sound his belt made caught your attention quickly, your eyes darting to his lower parts.
you watched as he removed his pants and boxers. the size of his length made you press your knees together.
“i-its not gonna fit,” you mumbled softly, a deep red blush spreading over your cheeks.
akaashi chuckled, “i’ll make sure it fits.”
his voice was soft. he made you feel okay, made you feel safe. akaashi helped you remove the shirt from your body, “look how pretty you are.”
akaashi’s fingers found your entrance in no time. he pushed two fingers into you, listening to how you started moaning again. he loved the feeling of your tight walls around his fingers. he watched you clench around his fingers and with the beautiful moans you were giving him, he was ready to make you cum again. his skilled digits curled inside of your cunt, a cry falling from your lips as he did so.
akaashi leaned down to kiss your open mouth. you could feel him smiling into your mouth.
“i’m ready,” you mumbled out against the kiss, “akaashi, fuck me, please.”
akaashi removed his fingers from you, gathering your juices with the tip of his cock. he made sure he coated himself before pushing the tip in. he could hear your small voice whimpering and your soft pants.
he looked at you, tears rolling down your cheeks as you tried to adjust to his size. he softly kissed both of your tears.
“s-so big,” you whispered against his lips as you felt akaashi slowly start thrusting.
he smirked, his head dipping down to your neck to suck and kiss your skin. he looked at you, your voice broken and whimpering. you were crying for his cock. you could feel him twitch inside of you. he pulled his dick out before pushing back in, looking at where your bodies were connected.
akaashi could see the little bulge on your lower stomach. he grabbed onto your small hand, placing it down on your lower stomach so you could feel him. he gave you another deep thrust. your body moved with his thrusts. akaashi watched as your little body shook uncontrollably whenever his hips met with yours.
even akaashi was under the impression that your small body wouldn’t be able to fit him, but it was almost as if you were made for him.
“you feel so good around my cock.”
akaashi angled your legs, hooking them to his arms. the new angle made your eyes roll to the back of your head. one of your hands grabbed a handful of his hair, making him throw his head back. your lips pressed softly along his jawline.
“s-so good, s-so fuckin’ good,” you moaned against his skin.
your forehead met with his as his thrusts became deeper and deeper. his voice was broken, his cock twitching.
“cum inside me,” you mumbled softly, soft enough for him to hear. his thrusts were deep and he could feel you climax around his length.
“i love you so fucking much,” he mumbled against your skin, “so fucking much that it hurts.”
“i know,” you cooed, kissing his cheek softly, “i love you too.”
he finished inside of you. you saying that was the last thing he remembered. he felt so safe in your arms, naked and bodies tangled. he knew his cum was dripping from your stretched hole. he fell asleep there in your arms.
you felt so at home, so safe in this moment. you shut your eyes too, falling asleep, enjoying this moment.
because deep down, you knew that in the morning, you weren’t hayami.

Tsukishima Kei (272 words)
Tsukishima's eyes were already fixed on you the moment you took your step out of the door. He has been waiting for you for almost an hour now. He was leaning on the railing while standing in the hallway, completely oblivious to the eyes of the passing students looking at him.
God, he stands out too much, you thought. I always knew he was tall and attractive, but he's getting so much attention.
He pulled down his headphones to rest on his shoulders so he could acknowledge your presence and just because he was craving to hear your voice.
"Sorry I made you wait," you apologized, anxiously playing with your fingers, "My class took longer than expected."
"Is that so?" He asked nonchalantly as he joined you when you started to walk. Ah, what I'd give to forever plant how you sound on my head so that I'll never forget how much you feel like my favorite song, he thought.
"You're not mad?" You sneakily stole a glance at his face but the moment you made eye contact with him, you looked away.
"Pfft- why would I be?" He chuckled.
Your face brightened up and you excitedly wrapped your arms around his.
"Really? You're not mad at all?"
Tsukishima couldn’t be bothered. His face was full of grimace but you both knew he didn’t hate being wrapped by you.
Especially by you.
If you were to let go of him right now, he'd just pull your arms back and make you cling onto him again because he can't stand the thought of being separated from you.
"Yeah."
Not at all, he thought.
Kageyama Tobio (316 words)
Kageyama was busy scrolling over his phone with his brows furrowed just how you like it. He’s probably taking notes of how his practice went today, you thought.
"You're not practicing?" Peeking over his phone, you smiled brightly as the crowd of students passing by on your back flowed continuously.
Aha! I knew it!
Though Kageyama's volleyball notebook meant a lot to him, ever since its pages have all been used, he started utilizing his phone to record the ones he wanted to take note of.
"No, it ended earlier today so I came to see you instead." He said as he hid his phone in his bag.
“Really?”
“Yeah. Coach Ukai said that it'd be best to go home early just this once since he found out we stay on the court even after training hours,” he explained.
“What are you smiling for?” He asked though he didn’t hate that smug grin of yours because God knows how much whipped he is for it.
“Nothing~.” you hummed as you walked away from him.
“Hey, wait up!” He called after you.
The students from different classes were running chaotically in the hallway. He grabbed your waist and pulled you to his side. “Hey, watch where you’re going!” He screamed in irritation to the students who almost bumped into you.
“I told you to wait up,” He turned to you with concern only for you to realize how close he has gotten into you.
Kageyama took your hand as if it was the most natural thing to do and together you slipped out of the crowd of students to go home.
Once he became conscious of the hand that he's holding, a nervous flush of blood rush on his cheeks. A grin plastered on your face, you pretended not to notice, and he looked away.
He didn't let go of your hand though.
He didn't want to.
Akaashi Keiji (324 words)
“As I was saying, you should’ve just gone home together with Bokuto,” You started.
“Did you not want me to come?” Akaashi stared at you with the saddest eyes he has ever had.
Caught off guard with his sudden change of expression, you startled, “N-no… It’s not like that.”
Your careful landed steps made their way to him. His toned arms surprised you when you held them as the silent noise of the hallway filled your ears.
Has he always been this toned?
“I-it’s not like that, Aka-“ He rested his head on your shoulders and nuzzled your neck, “Then why are you being like this?” he asked with a tint of pain in his voice.
“It’s just that— look at the time. Our club lasted longer than usual, and you had to wait for me when you just went to practice. You could be resting at home right now if you went home together with Bokuto and the others,” you explained, “and I know you’re tired that’s why-“
“But I wanted to see you,” His head still resting on your shoulders and his eyes slammed shut, “and I know you missed me as well.”
He pulled himself away from you – a distance that is just enough for him to fall on your arms if he wanted to. You could smell his perfume and the small light from the hallway shone on his beautiful face.
It was night and it felt like the entire universe was just standing right in front of you.
“You’re right,” you sighed, “I did miss you, but I also want you to rest early when you could.”
“That’s why I came to see you,” his calm demeanor remained in place as he held your hand, “I’m at rest whenever I’m with you.”
"I missed you so much," he reached for your hand and nudged it, "so just be happy that you're here with me right now."
"Because I am."
Suna Rintarou (545 words)
“I didn't expect that you'd be waiting for me,” you said while studying his face, “Don't you have plans?”
“Well...” He tilted his head while fixing the bag that has been hanging on his shoulders, “Today I wanted to see you, I guess.”
“What a lie,” you rolled your eyes – pretending that response didn’t awaken the butterflies that have been resting on your stomach after days of being unable to see him.
“I’m not lying though?” Setting his eyes on you, he grinned when you looked away.
“Whatever you say,” you retorted calmly, the best way you could.
He snorted at your response, completely aware of the reason why you’re acting this way. You walked faster, trying to get away from him as soon as possible. You couldn’t think of anything else – just the sound of the breeze as the wind gently touched your skin and the beating of your heart when he’s right next to you.
“Hey…” Stopping your tracks, he placed his arms on your shoulders, pulling you closer to him.
“We haven’t seen each other lately and now that we’re together, you’re acting like I’m not here at all.”
“I wasn’t trying to do that,” tilting your head to face him, “I’m sorry.”
“Really?” he asked, trying to read your facial expression when you avoided his gaze.
“Ugh,” you removed his arms from your shoulders and prepared for a sprint, but he caught you before you could even run anyway.
“What’s up with you?” He asked.
“Sorry,” your breathing heavier than usual, you looked on the ground to hide the blush on your face. Though unfortunately for you, the redness of your ears didn’t escape Suna’s sight.
“Do you hate me?” He knew you didn't but something from your ears urged him to ask.
“N-no!” your eyes pierced through him after the absurdity of his words. “Why would I?”
“It feels like you didn’t want to see me,” Suna stated, a bit terrified to find the truth on his impulsive imposition just because he wanted to see you flustered.
“I’m sorry I made you feel that way,” you apologized, “It- it just feels like I’m losing my mind whenever you’re close to me, and I didn’t want to seem so needy because I was scared that you’d hate me for it.”
A sigh of relief went out of his system, “I’m also sorry for making you feel that way,” he tugged the loose hair on your ear, “and you know I can never hate you.”
You pouted, unsure of what to respond.
“A hug then,” his voice sounding needy yet even more attractive as he caressed your cheeks, “if you want to make it up to me, that is.”
You couldn’t feel your legs anymore. One tap on you and you would collapse on the ground.
Still, you found yourself complying with his demand. You wrapped your arms around his neck, and he locked your waist just the same.
A warm feeling of content manifested on your chest. You wish the both of you could just stay that way forever. You love him so much that you don't ever want to let him go.
Because being in his arms just feels so right.

kei tsukishima
he tries to hide you from the team for as long as possible, not because he’s embarrassed of you
but because he knows that he’s going to get teased and also because he’s embarrassed of his teammates
specifically two teammates
everyone else only found out because you came into the gym, wondering where your boyfriend was since practice was going on for longer than usual
“excuse me do you know when practice is going to be over?” you walked in, just to ask yachi since you didn’t want to disturb everyone else
“i’m not sure sorry, but um who are you?” the poor girl is confused to why you’re asking because she doesn’t know you.
“oh i’m tsukki’s girlfriend, (y/n)! i was just waiting for him, so i’ll be outs—“
hearing the words girlfriend, and tsukki together definitely caught the attention of yachi. well actually it caught the attention of a most everyone in the gym.
the practice match they were playing literally paused, eyes wandering to you then going to the tall blonde. it continued like that for a little bit since EVERYONE was wondering how tsukishima got a girlfriend.
honestly i’m surprised too like what the hell youre so adorable and too good for him
“TSUKISHIMA I CANT BELIEVE YOU DIDNT TELL US YOU HAVE A GIRLFRIEND!” suga(mama) was the first to break the stunned silence. as he passed by the middle blocker, going to greet you, he made sure to give the poor boy a karate chop on his side as he passed by. suga only did this because he was hurt that tsukishima never mentioned you
tsukishima was literally shocked by that karate chop because he’s never been on the receiving end of one, definitely has more respect for daichi now since he always get chopped
the next to react were none other than tanaka and nishinoya. they rushed over to the middle blocker and started to bombarde him with questions and mostly teasing
“oooo tsukishima you have a girlfriend!”
“tsukishima you can always come to your senpai if you need help with this relationship”
“how did you get such a cute girlfriend anyways?”
“-just be careful when you grab because-“
tsukishima became so annoyed, “can you both shut up, you’ve never even had another girl like you back.”
that, that definitely hurt their feelings. cue the emo music
actually that made them realize that tsukishima for a girlfriend before they did, so now they were going over to kiyoko and asking for her to be their girlfriend. poor kiyoko i swear
suga and daichi (ugh mom and dad are so cute) start to converse with you, daichi apologizing for everyone’s behavior while suga was congratulating you for being able to handle tsukishima
the only person who wasn’t surprised was yamaguchi of course, who do you think tsukishima went to when he realized he had feelings for you?
kageyama really just, didn’t care at all. if anything he was kinda annoyed because this was eating into their practice time. you had nothing to do with volleyball afterall
very rude kageyama
hinata was waiting behind daichi and suga so that he could ask you question, so when those two stepped away to go back to practice. the orange haired boy was practically bouncing in excitement, he was about to open his mouth when a hand came over it
tsukishima had come to your rescue, he noticed you were looking a bit overwhelmed with suddenly being thrust into the spotlight. honestly he didn’t like it either. “come on (y/n), let’s go.”
your tense feeling was immediately eased, you mouthed a small thank you to him then looked back to his team. “it was nice meeting you all, hopefully next time we can talk properly— ah tsukki don’t pull so hard.”
tsukishima was dragging you out of the gym because one, he was tired, and two because he never wanted to experience that again. especially suga’s karate chops
you were probably never going to show up to a practice again because it was a distraction for other, especially tsukishima, but you were always there during the games because you were one of his biggest supporters for volleyball afterall
also tsukishima only wants you to watch the games because he wants you to think he looks cool while playing volleyball, only so he can brag to you about it later or hear you fan girling about his blocks
Tumblr media
keiji akaashi
akaashi really wants you to meet his team, because volleyball is very important to him and so are you. it only seemed fitting
however you were always busy with other things so it took a month after you guys started dating before you could come meet everyone
you arrived just as they were finishing up some drills, just before they finished for the day. akaashi saw you coming into the gym, giving you a small smile right before he set a final ball to bokuto.
akaashi started to head over to you, but bokuto didn’t want him too since he just wanted to hit one more ball. just one more perfect straight.
akaashi explained that he needed to see you, his girlfriend, so do you know that time it is?
it’s bokuto emo mode time
“fine! if you really cared about me and volleyball you’d stay, but go. leave me for all i care.” this adorable dramatic idiot i swear, i still love him though
akaashi spares his best friend a glance then just nods, jogging over to you with no hesitation. also yes bokuto knows about you, he knew if bokuto didn’t know he had a girlfriend he would be devastated for way too long
other teammates notice akaashi heading over to you which makes them confused, they’ve never seen you before.
the setter comes up to you, giving you a hug, like the adorable boyfriend he is. akaashi hit me up
if the boys weren’t confused before they were now, and just to further that confusion he took your hand and walked with you towards his teammates
oh and don’t think that he wasn’t asking you how your day was and such, he’s always going to be considerate of you. he’s really the nicest boyfriend ever
“everyone i want you to meet (y/n), she is my girlfriend.”
it now made sense to who you were, but no one was very surprised. well maybe a little surprised but, akaashi was a good person so they could see him with someone
also they all know he’s pretty so of course girls would be going after him
you politely smile and wave at everyone, “hello, i’m sorry for the intrusion but akaashi wanted me to meet you.”
konoha immediately picked up on the fact that you called akaashi, akaashi and not keiji. “akaashi you still have her call you akaashi?”
the others nodded in agreement, you guys were dating so why the formality
you smiled sheepishly, cutting in before your boyfriend could talk, since he also looked confused. “ah sorry, i just. i wasn’t sure if i should call him keiji, i wanted to be polite.”
that, that was the moment you captured everyone’s heart. you’re little embarrassed expression, just because you wanted to be polite? approval straight away
komi jumped forward, smiling as he put his hands on your shoulders. “(y/n)! you don’t need to be polite, in fact how did akaashi ask you out? or was he too shy and you made the first move?”
komi and konoha proceeded to ask you question about your relationship with akaashi. mostly curious but maybe also because they wanted to tease their setter later if they heard anything silly
when you were finally finished answering questions, you joined akaashi who was talking to bokuto
“bokuto-san please calm down, i’ll set to you more next practice.”
it seemed that akaashi was still trying to lift bokuto’s spirits from earlier, you knew about his infamous emo mode. akaashi sometimes would ask you advice for how to handle him, but it was rare since the male could handle his best friend
“bokuto, i saw your last spike, it was really amazing! if anything you need to rest too, because that’s how your muscles get stronger!”
bokuto blinked twice as he processed your words, his slightly slouched posture and sad demanour straightened up. literally.
“you really think so (y/n)?” his lips were pulled into a pout and eyes were shining like pouting puppy eyes.
“of course bokuto!”
the owl haired boy inhaled deeply as his chest swelled with pride. “you’re right! i will rest and spike even harder tomorrow!”
the ace walked off, full of pride once again, leaving just you and akaashi. he looked at you and offered you a small smile, “thank you (y/n), i’m glad everyone likes you.” he reached over, placing his hand in the top of your head to gently pat and rub your head in appreciation. you smile up at him, nodding. after that he makes sure to walk you home, giving you a sweet goodnight kiss
dang i want head pats too, also catch bokuto also asking for head pats of praise from akaashi during their next practice
Tumblr media
kozume kenma
kenma was wary about letting you meet his team, only because he knew it would be a whole ordeal that he was in a relationship
but a week after you guys started dating, you went to one of kenma’s games wanting to cheer him on.
so there you were on the stands, chanting with everyone else and cheering for the team and kenma as well
at the end of the game, you rushed down to the halls where the team would be after just winning their match.
as soon as you saw kenma, a wide grin spread across your face. “congratulations on winning kozume! that last dump you did was so cool!”
the stoic setter saw you, a small sigh leaving his lips because he knew that everyone would wonder who you were. so to avoid the hassle he quickly walked up to you, gently grabbed your hand and straight up walked away from the rest of his team
and as expected, he was right. everyone else just kinda stood there in shock and very confused because they had no clue who you were. they were just watching the two of you walk away, kenma mumbling to you about how he was grateful for your support, but just wanted his hand held game console back
the whole team just turned to kuroo, since he was the only one grinning during the whole situation. “did you not know? that’s kenma’s girlfriend.”
kuroo of course knew because who else would kenma turn to when he figured out he had feelings towards you? of course it would be his best friend and personal idiot
jaws just on the floor, and man did kuroo think it was funny to see everyone’s expressions
the next practice yamamoto and lev come up to kenma immediately
“KENMAA WHY DID YOU TELL US YOU HAD A GIRLFRIEND?” poor kenma because he was just trying to play his game and nearly dropped it, if he did oh yamamoto would probably have been murdered
kenma’s face twisted in a look of annoyance, “i didn’t think it was important that’s all.” he brushed the topic off, not wanting to make a big deal of it because he didn’t see it as one
yamamoto was personally offended by kenma’s words because um, kenma had a girlfriend and he didn’t. “not a big deal? KENMA HOW C-“
“yamamoto, shut up.” kuroo cut in because kenma was just getting more annoyed, and also because he was just being too loud
poor yamamoto, he also wanted to know if you had cute friends. but also knowing him, he would probably run away if he met said cute friends
however it didn’t stop lev from following after kenma, “hey hey kenma, how did you even get a girlfriend?
for once kenma would rather play volleyball then answer these questions about you. it’s not like he doesn’t want to talk about you, it’s just he doesn’t feel the need to share about his relationship
luckily they stopped bugging him, but when you showed up at the end of practice, the attention was brought back to the both of yours relationship
but instead of lev or yamamoto going up to him, they went to you instead.
“hey kenma’s girlfriend, why do you like kenma? don’t you think he’s too quiet?”
“do you have any cute friends by any chance.”
“also you’re short, but maybe taller than yaku..”
lev was then immediately kicked by yaku, you think he would learn by now
you were kinda overwhelmed by the two guys, especially lev because he was well, tall. you laughed sheepishly, taking a step back from them
kenma quickly picked up on your discomfort and speed walks over to you, kuroo has only seem him walk this fast when going to the bame store
the setter stepped in between you and his two teammates, shooting them a glare and small frown. “leave (y/n) alone, she is none of your business.”
after that yaku drags away lev before he could continue pestering or start teasing, while kai leads yamamoto away to console him about wanting to also have a cute girlfriend
that left you and kenma, and wow you were kinda stunned by kenma coming to your rescue. because you know that he isn’t the most expressive or affectionate but this action threw away any possible doubts you had before
kenma made sure to walk you all the way home that day to make up for his annoying teammates. lucky for him the topic of his relationship didn’t come up again. besides he didn’t want to share all the precious moments he has with you anyways, you were all his afterall

Requesting cheating angst with Kuroo, Iwaizumi, Akaashi, and Atsumu? Rip my heart apart please😌😌♥️
oH SHIT let’s do a remix on the fluff for this one post, everybody- I’m in an angsty mood so uh, eskettit :( I couldn’t make it past Akaashi’s scenario and I had so many breaks, so proceed at your own risk, everyone!
Turn and Keep Going. (Kuroo, Iwaizumi, and Akaashi) - angst -
TW: CHEATING, CURSING, ANGST- no fr I ugly cried and I wrote it
Kuroo
“Y/N. Where do you keep the extra towels again?”
You didn’t mean to see it. In fact, if you had the choice on whether or not you did-
you would have chosen not to.
The phone in your hand became tightened in an iron-clad grip as a chuckle with a nervous tinge to it slipped Kuroo’s mouth, and the world seemed to drown out for a moment. As if the world around you submerged into the water of the sea, where everything you could hear was jumbled as a strange heat flooded your vision, choking your lungs with the salt of the ocean.
“Y/N?” The garbled voice was questioning now as your eyes stayed glued to the screen, of the naked set of breasts and invites, even worse-
the accepting replies.
That was all it took for you to flinch away from the hand that Kuroo had carefully set on your back hunched over the device, the towel he had been using to dry off his hair falling to the floor in a heap of material as the raven-haired boy finally entered your bedroom from his post-practice shower.
Still, the phone remained tightened in your hand so tight to the point where your knuckles were turning white.
“Why are you going through my phone?” The accusatory edge to Kuroo’s voice had risen, and so did you to your feet, the device hitting the floor next to the towel as you fight to keep your head afloat.
“How long?” Your voice cracked, no matter how hard you fought the breaking feeling spreading across your chest as Kuroo seemed to still completely, and you didn’t need to look at him fully in the face to know how utterly guilty he looked.
“W-What do you-?”
“Don’t.” Your voice was soft, refusing to meet the captain’s eyes now, not knowing just who was standing in your room.
Not knowing just who was the man now holding your face in his hands, urging you to look at him with his own flood falling on his cheeks as his words remained garbled. Still, you let him.
“Baby. Kitten-fuck. I don’t know what you think you saw, but I love you! I wasn’t completely there when I-”
“Fucked her?” Your voice hadn’t risen, eyes glazed over in a haze as Kuroo’s voice hitched.
“No. Nononono- Y/N, kitten-”
“T-Tetsurou?” The name felt foreign on your tongue as your head finally rose to meet his, willing everything inside you to hold it back as Kuroo held you tighter, as if his arms would salvage what was falling apart.
“Get out.”
“Y/N. Please.” His voice fell to a whisper-
and the dam broke.
“I SAID GET THE HELL OUT.” You screamed, falling to your knees as your arms wrapped around yourself, knowing you were all you had in the world at the moment. You saw his legs approach you, before hesitating and turning the other way, clenched fists creating bloody marks in his hands from his fingernails as he complied.
“And Tetsurou.” You spat just as his legs stall in the doorway, watching as Kuroo’s feral and playful eyes that once painted every edge of your universe seemed to be fighting to remain stable. The captain heard those words, and couldn’t fight the sobs beginning to wreck his body as the voice he loved echoed in his ears with parting words-
Your voice didn’t crack this time.
“Don’t come back.”
Iwaizumi
“She’s a nobody.”
You jump at the sound of the voice, humorless chuckle slipping your lips as Iwa steps to your side, dark eyes looking tired and void of any light that might had once lit up his dark irises. You look out at the landscape, still looking straight forward as the ace settles next to you, hanging his forearm across his bent knee.
“How did you find me?”
“It’s been two years. I know you, Y/N.” Iwaizumi’s eyes bore into your side profile, and more sarcastic giggles make their way past your lips as you hug your knees to your chest, jabbing him where it hurts.
“Funny. I really thought I knew you, Hajime-”
“Don’t you start with that shit.”
You lazily finally meet Iwa’s eyes, causing the ace to feel the lump growing in his throat at the amount of light drained from the look of them, mirroring his own. Iwa moistens his lips, trying to get his head back on track as the heat tinges at the sides of his eyes.
“We love each other, don’t we?”
“Yeah. We did.”
Iwa flinches at the past-tense term, feeling his breathing hollow out at the sound of it.
“We must’ve at some point, right?” All cried-out, you watch the sun seem to slowly sink into the horizon in a mix of color as your eyes soak in its’ prettiness, as if the light from the sun would somehow bring the gleam back to your eyes-
but every time you closed them, all you saw was Iwaizumi fiercely kissing another girl in the passenger seat of her car, fist clenched in her hair as he kissed her with anger from the fight he had with you-
“You do. You love me.” The denial sunk in as you laugh. And you laugh some more as if that were the most idiotic thing in the world. “And I love you, Y/N- princess, we can make this work and get through this-!”
“I don’t want to, though.” You cut him off, drawing circles in the dirt as you remember the nights teasing Iwa for showing too little emotion- not knowing that the most you would get out of him would be after he stuck his tongue down another girl’s throat.
“Don’t you get that?” You shake your head, smiling as if you can’t believe it, shoving Iwa’s attempt of holding you off of you as you raise to your feet, soaking in the colors as they fade to a more dark color palate.
“I don’t give a fuck about some nobody, don’t you get that?!” Iwa’s on his feet now too, and you finally begin to crack as you look out to the horizon, a familiar heat flooding your vision as you smile.
“Hey, Hajime.” You ignore his cry, prompting the dark-haired boy to look in the same direction you were. “This is where it all started, didn’t it? Where you kissed me, and promised that you would always protect me, right?”
Iwa’s own eyes brim with frustration as the stinging heat from earlier takes over, feeling the mix of regret and heartbreak begin to settle in as you turn and give him a smile. No sarcastic intention behind it as you close your eyes, Iwa’s eyes widening at the sight of something he’d never get to see again.
“I guess you really don’t know me, after all.” You smile to the point where its’ painful, spinning on your heel. “I came because I knew you’d find me, not to fix whatever this is, but-”
You’re turned around now, the sun fading into night as you will your legs to keep walking.
“To say goodbye to you, Hajime.”
And so, the dark-haired ace watched as you walked off into the distance and out of his life for a problem he created, yells of frustration enclosed in his throat and the need to punch something ever-so prevalent-
as the sky above now swirled with dark pigment.
Akaashi
“Don’t. Don’t go, please.”
“Keiji, let go.” You tug your arm in an attempt to make the messy-haired boy release you, trembling when he pulls you into his chest, burying his head in your neck as the hot tears hit your skin, prompting you to bite your lip and fight the urge to hold him back as your own eyes burn. If he wouldn’t let you go, then-
You can’t help the vicious words from slipping. “She’s waiting, you should go to her, shouldn’t you?”
“Stop. D-Don’t say that-”
“Am I wrong?” Your voice remains stable to your surprise, causing Akaashi to tighten his hold on you even more. “The girl who came out after you in your shower...who is she?”
“No one! No one, Y/N, you were so far for so long, and-”
“And what?” You question emotionlessly. “You have needs? You were lonely? Cut the bullshit.”
“Do you know what it’s been like?” Akaashi’s voice is soft with an angry edge as he pulls back, still holding you in his arms as if to keep you there for an eternity, and for a minute, time does stop-
and you soak in the reality. Life tore you two apart, distanced yet together, far away yet still part of the same relationship. The blue-eyed boy would never be able to rewind the clock and keep you as his no matter what life hurled-
“Let go.”
“Fuck if I do.”
Your strong exterior begins to crumble as Akaashi watches with now widened eyes as the viciousness drains only to be replaced with sorrow, relief filling his heart when you hold him back just as tightly, your chin resting on his shoulder as your grateful he won’t be able to see what kind of expression crosses your features.
“Keiji.” You whisper almost child-like, causing Akaashi’s heart to swell with hope until the next words make his heart stop.
“Eat healthy, will you? I know Bokuto likes to drag you around to all these places, but too much ramen isn’t good for you-”
“Y/N?”
“And please, for god sakes, make sure you remember to pick up your suit from the laundromat on Thursdays, I know you’re presentations are usually on Fridays-”
“Y/N.”
“Oh, and don’t forget- you always make it a point to drop by Konoha’s for a guy night on the fourth of every month, so don’t drink too much because it gives you a massive migraine in the middle of the night-”
“Y/N!”
“And Keiji?” You pull back, corners of your mouth pulled back as you cup his face gently, leaning your forehead against his as Akaashi Keiji freezes in shock as the love of his life, his future, his world-
Smiles a wordless goodbye, capturing his lips as Akaashi wonders how to turn the hands of time, forcing the laws of nature to bend for his selfish desires as his arms slacken-
“Be happy.” You whisper, retracting your arms and hands before stepping out of his now weak grip, brushing past him with a finality in your steps as time refuses to stop, Akaashi fighting every instinct on forcing you to stay with him-
letting you go as the hands of time continue to move along with your steps away from him, the setter lifting a hand to his mouth before he falls to his knees and looks up to the sky-
wishing he had more hours, minutes, and seconds to see that smile for just a bit longer.
“Yeah. You do the same, love.”

(BEWARE SPOILERS FOR 3-1B) This is the question: When Meister is preparing to execute Keiji, with a very distressed expression Shin cries out, "No! He can't die like this...! I need to...!!" What does he mean here? Since he was showing compassion to Gin earlier (saying to Midori, "Stop it, Hiyori!! There's no need for this...!!" and "Gin's still just a little kid!"), is he pleading for Meister to spare Keiji's life? Or is he mad because he wanted to kill Keiji himself? Idk how to interpret it...
Tumblr media
My reading is that Shin absolutely wants to take his own revenge on Keiji! For Keiji to die as a mere result of Midori’s temper tantrum would be totally unsatisfying!
Notice the emphasis on “He can’t die like this.” It’s not like Shin is saying that Keiji can’t die. It’s a question of how Keiji dies that matters to Shin here. Furthermore, the emphasis on “I need to…” emphasizes Shin’s desire for agency in this story. (Shin is mostly denied agency in 3-1, since he is playing a background role. I’m sure that he’ll play a bigger part in 3-2!)
One detail I loved about the Logic Route was that the writing made it perfectly clear that Shin does not want to kill Gin. Shin cares about vulnerable children. He does not blame Gin for Kanna’s death! After all—Sara even made that decision for Gin. Gin’s vote for Kanna is simply one more crime he can lay at Sara’s feet.
Going into the Logic Route, I was curious how Nankidai would develop Shin and Gin’s relationship. Seeing Shin show so much compassion for the child reminded me of why I love Shin Tsukimi so much! Shin was even desperate enough to beg Miss Sara for help, and he shed tears out of worry.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
The fact that the Logic Route includes a Yabusame death means that Shin will only face Kanna’s “three killers” in 3-2: Sara, Keiji, and Gin too. However, 3-1B has firmly established that killing a child is a moral line that Shin is unwilling to cross. His heart is too kind for that.
But I really wonder what lengths Shin will go to for his revenge. How far down this dark path will he go? Will he be pushed farther? Is there hope for him yet, when he still has goodness in him?
As much as I would like for Shin to become the kind of man that Kanna wanted him to be, the story subtly reminds us that Shin still wants revenge. See how bitter he is in his conversation with Sara just before the Banquet.
Sara: Sou…
Sara: About Midori…
Sou: We’ll kill him. …What else is there? / Always saying you’ll “beat” him or “won’t lose”… No use doing that. / Unless you show real bloodlust… He won’t be afraid. / Haha… Still, I have to say… / Ranmaru… He did something pretty outrageous. / Even I didn’t expect he’d kill Alice… / Who needs a doll that brings harm to humans? Ahaha.
Sara: …Aren’t you sad, Sou?
Sou: Sad…? / I can’t even make that kind of feeling anymore. / To me, there’s no big difference between Midori and you all… / Only… the order. Ahaha…
Looking at Sou makes me uneasy. / About whether my vote then was correct…
My reading of Shin’s line about Ranmaru is that we can also apply it to his feelings about his own position. Shin is currently cooperating with the group. He has not done anything “outrageous” yet in this entire chapter. I would say that Shin is wavering on whether he could commit the kind of crimes that Ranmaru committed.
But Shin’s heartbreaking answer to Sara’s question on if he’s sad is what makes me sure that he hasn’t forgotten his promise of revenge. Shin claims that he only cares about the “order” of their deaths. He makes it clear that he holds the player in the same contempt he holds for Midori. I believe this holds true for Keiji as well.

((t.w. eating disorder))
i am trying to recover from my ed by myself since i don't fit the stereotypical person with ed and it is also expensive... i would love to get some comfort/support from haikyuu boys (kindly include tsukishima pls) <3
Haikyuu Boys Comforting Their S/O with an Eating Disorder (emergency request)
A/Note: I’m really sorry that you have to deal with that but if you ever need to talk I’m here, or just listen; my Inbox and Asks are open. I don’t think that anything should have a ‘stereotype’ especially not this, anything can happen to anybody, I anyway. These things don’t just pick and choose and honestly, I’m probably stating the obvious. I’m sorry but I just want you to know I believe in you and that you can do it. I do also apologise if this does not come out the way you wanted, this is honestly my first time writing for a situation like this so I did a little research, and I hope it was enough. I hope you like it. Love <3 ~ Sar-chan
Warning: eating disorder
Tumblr media
Tsukishima Kei
I think the first time Tsukishima found out you had an eating disorder he was silent for about a couple seconds. It’s not because he’s angry at you, he just needs to process it, and he needs to figure out what to say. He knows sometimes he can be harsh and he knows right now you don’t need that.
He’ll make sure to wrap you in his arms and tell you, “Hey, it's ok. It’s ok. We- we can get through this. I’m gonna be here to help every step of the way. I’m sorry if I ever made any comments that make you feel a type of way. I love you ok and I’m here.”
He’d apologise because he didn’t know if he’d ever said anything to affect you. He’d be more careful with his words from then on because you mean the world to him and he truly wanted to help you get through this.
Tsukishima definitely did some research that night when you went to sleep. He wanted to be sure about what he could do to help and that he wasn’t mixing up his information.
He’d make food for both of you and eat the same things you were eating, to ensure you didn’t feel any type of way about it and you wouldn’t be eating alone. Kei isn’t a five-star chef but he’ll look up recipes and listen to the prep on his headphones while he cooks.
If you wanted to work out, he would totally take you with him to gym or practice, sometimes he’ll take you on his morning run if you’re not too tired.
Tsukishima would pay your fees without you knowing to help out. Like you’d go to pay and they’d tell you they were already covered. He doesn’t want you to argue with him about this especially because he just wants to help. He didn’t know how to bring it up to you so he kind of just opted for doing it this way.
I think when he takes a break at lunch he’ll call to eat with you over a video call. Yamaguchi helped him come up with the idea.
-----------
“Hey shortcake, I’m sorry I’m late for lunch. Practice ran a bit late. How you doin’? Hmmm” he said through the phone as he wiped the sweat off his forehead and removed his glasses. “I got a bit hungry but ummm. I was going to start but I wanted to wait for you. I’m sorry,” you apologised looking down at the food in front of you. “You … know… you could have eaten without me. I wouldn’t mind,” he gulped his water and glanced at the screen to see your saddened expression, “Hey, I’m not mad at you. I like eating with you ok. Though if you are hungry you should eat because you could get stomach pain, ok. But I am proud you got your food and you’re ready to eat.” Both of you proceeded to eat lunch but Kei spent most of his time smiling at you as you ate. Every time you’d look up he’d look down at his food never want to let you see the way he looked at you. When he came home he made sure to talk about his day over dinner and ask you what you’d like for breakfast tomorrow.
Kozume Kenma
Kenma is pretty straightforward sometimes and he doesn’t change that when approaching the situation. He’ll tell you, “Hey kitty come here, I need you to remember that is normal, ok. You are more than your eating disorder and all that matters now is that you’re recovering. I’m gonna help you, I know it’s not the same but maybe you can remind me to eat too hmm? We can eat together.”
When Kenma’s in his game room and you’re with him he’ll make sure to keep some snacks that you like around, he’ll also make sure to keep some healthier things on hand if you’re really worried about it.
He’ll be more observant of your eating habits and try to improve them. He’s always keeping an eye on you to make sure you’re all right, even if it doesn’t seem like it.
When he finds patterns in your habits he’ll find times within the day to ask if you’d like a snack or something to drink.
Every breakfast, lunch, and dinner time he has a reminder on his phone to eat.
When the time comes he’ll make home-cooked meals with you and eat together. This way he knows that he’s encouraging you and that you know he is trying too.
When he’s on stream and lunch or dinner time happens to creep up on him he’ll apologise and tell his viewer he’ll be right back because he knows that it’s important that you stick to a routine so that you don’t disrupt your progress. However, if you happen to be hungry earlier he will not hesitate to leave then either.
Kenma has no problem playing your fees but he knows this is your process so he will ask first before he does anything. If you want to take turns he’ll gladly do it with you.
Sometimes you guys will play rock, paper, scissors, or play Mario Cart to see who gets to choose what’s to eat or who gets to cook. He however doesn’t make it any problem if you prefer something else or want him to cook.
If you’re ok with him telling his viewers and you explain to them the situation he’ll let you. He wants them to be educated but he thinks it’d be nice for you to have the extra support and get some pent-up thoughts or emotions off your chest.
-----
“Guys gimme a second,” Kenma mutes his mic and turns to where you sat on the bed. “What is it KenKen?” you ask, a confused look washing across your features. “I just wanted to know if you’re hungry baby. Any snacks? Water?” he asks. You think about it for a second, “Maybe a little bit, but we can wait till dinner. It’s not far,” you wave your hands in front of you not wanting to disturb his stream. “Thank you for telling me but I’m a little hungry though. Plus if we get started now it’ll be ready for dinner time and maybe after you can game with me on the stream,” he takes off his game and takes your hand, and walks to the kitchen. “Let’s cook together today. I’m proud you did good today, keep taking it a step at a time,” he wraps his arms around your waist and kisses the top of your head.
Akaashi Keiji
Akaashi I very calm about the whole thing, he’ll sit you down and talk about it in detail if you want to share with him. If you can’t he’ll simply hug you, “Hey, I’m really proud you told me and that you’re working through this. I’m going to be here along the way to help but I believe in you darling. You are so strong and I know you can.”
He’s a pretty organised person so maybe he’ll help you make a meal plan for the week, snacks and all.
Keiji will talk about your day every time he comes home and asks if you’ve eaten well. Even though, he’s called you at breakfast and lunch already to check up on you.
I think Akaashi surprises you with a bento and a tumbler cup, that he’s drawn characters from your favourite manga/anime on.
Sometimes when he comes home from work he’ll surprise you with dinner from your favorite place for doing well all week.
He never forces you but he does encourage you because he does want to see you grow and improve, but he will let you take that at your own pace.
He is always researching and checking to learn new things every day. He’ll make sure he knows what you need and always offers words of appreciation and express how proud he is of you.
I think he’ll work out payment plan with you and will subtly bring up splitting the cost with you, if you’re open to it. He just wants to ease your stress and he hopes he can help.
Whenever you need to talk he’ll drop everything and be there for you. Akaashi is always going to be your number one supporter and if you want to keep it under wraps for the time he will support your decision but always make sure to keep you motivated and reassured.
-----
“Good Evening darling, let’s go on the couch,” he’ll sit and pat the seat next to him. When you sit he’ll pull you close and peck your cheek. “So was today good? Did you follow the plan? But most importantly how do you feel?” he’ll ask giving you a warm smile as he strokes your hair. When you tell him about your day, he listens to everything you have to say and if there were any hiccups in the plan he assures you it’s alright. He knows that it isn’t going to be easy, so he encourages you to make tomorrow better and that he’s proud of you for doing your best today. “I heard you paid in advance this month and well I already put mine in for next month so we’re set. So how about we relax, we can watch a show and if you have anything else to tell me you can. But when you’re ready ok darling,” he’d say before grabbing the remote.
Tumblr media
Again I'm really sorry if I did this wrongly but remember my inbox is always open if you want to shoot me a message.

intentional | akaashi keiji
genre: fluffy to suggestive, sorta smutty but nothing crazy, fem!reader x akaashi keiji, college!au
warnings: a few curse words, soft dom keiji, back rubs
a/n: are back rubs r inherently sensual? lets discuss. i kinda dont like how this came out but fuck it! happy friday!! self-indulgent bc i just got my second dose of the vaccine and it made my back hurt :| not super serious tho! i j wish i could cuddle with keiji like theres truly no other way i want to spend my weekend
wc: does 800 words count as a drabble lol
“i really missed you, y’know?” keiji mumbled into your shoulder blade, soft lips and hair teasing your exposed skin.
your chest warmed at his words and you turned slightly to place a kiss on his crown before resting your head atop his. “keiji, i really missed you too.”
you’re currently pressed against him in the most intrusive albeit loving way: your legs wrapped around his torso and his hands tucked at the base of your ass, playfully fondling the soft and fleshy skin that poked out of your shorts.
this is all thanks to keiji’s insistence to cuddle as soon as you arrived at his dorm.
and you had been cuddling.
for the past ninety minutes.
you didn’t mind.
honestly, you leaned into it.
the week had kicked both you and keiji’s ass, considering the copious amount of work and stress the final weeks of your semesters brought about.
this, unfortunately, also meant a lot less time spent with each other.
which is why you didn’t mind spending hours nestled into his larger frame.
at least, in your head, you didn’t mind.
your back, however, was begging for semblance of relief.
sitting at a 90 degree angle while straddling your boyfriend’s legs was clearly not meant for long term commitment.
unfortunately, every time you made any attempt to adjust, keiji’s eyes looked distraught at you as if you were going to leave (you weren’t) and his hands frantically tightened their grip on you as if you were to disappear (again, you weren’t. also that wasn’t even possible.)
so you gave in for a while, but the searing pain that festered in the middle of your back was becoming unbearable.
“keiji.” you groaned, making attempts to pull away.
“hmm? wait.” he mumbled, evidently confused as his hands around your ass stiffen. “i don’t wanna stop cuddling.”
“no, no, i don’t either. but my back hurts like a motherfucker.”
his head lifts up to meet your eyes and you look down at him, pout forming on your lips.
“oh, fuck, i’m sorry. i didn’t even realize.” he looked at you apologetically, shaking his head.
“no, keiji! it’s not your fault, i probably should’ve said something earlier.” you offered a reassuring smile.
his almost trance-like gaze danced on you for a second before he spoke again. “can i try something?”
one of his hands immediately moved from under you and is placed firmly on your back.
his fingers then trace the route of your spine, from the bottom to top and finally rest at the nape of your neck, making the hairs stand up.
it’s a feeling you are familiar with, as keiji has always been an affectionate boyfriend, but your stomach still drops.
he does this a few more times, and you bite your lip while hiding your face in the bridge of his collarbone and neck.
you’re sure it’s not intentional, as keiji has never really been the type to tease you or make you question his motives, but the odd feeling in your stomach turns into soft waves of pleasure.
his hands stop at the middle of your spine.
“is this okay?” he starts rubbing circles into your back through the fabric of your t-shirt (his t-shirt*) and the waves of pleasure quickly transform into surges.
ah, this fucker.
you hum and nod softly into his neck.
you’d received massages before from masseuses and friends alike but for the most part, they all felt completely cordial.
there was something about how keiji touched you, the way his hand was unyielding in its task, continuously rubbing slow yet strong circles into your back.
it made your mind wander to the many other ways he uses his hands on you.
his hair tickled the side of your face while he pressed ghost kisses onto your neck and quite frankly, it was making you short circuit.
you inhaled sharply, trying not to move in fear of accidentally stimulating yourself further.
instead, you settled on the soft semi-involuntary breaths and hums that continued to escape you.
eventually, he stops.
instantly, you whine almost pathetically, and your head moved back to make eye contact with him pleadingly.
his facial expression shocked you.
his eyes are lidded, and he licks his lips in attempts to dampen them.
“that felt good, yeah?” he murmured, eyes dancing between your startled gaze and pursed lips.
you nodded, and his hand suddenly was firmly pressed back on you.
“well...” he breathed before pressing the lightest kiss on your lips.
you leaned into him, hoping he would give in.
he smiled into the kiss as the hand on your back begins to move slowly again and the other thumbs the drawstring of your shorts. “i should do this more often, no?”
well, fuck.
you’re starting to think this was all intentional.

AKAASHI KEIJI
You knew that Akaashi isn't really that expressive. His calm demeanor on some things sometimes annoys you, or how he keeps his composure.
There's this one time that you wore his t-shirt without any pants, just your undergarment beneath to surprise him and maybe do something more yet when he entered your shared bedroom he just looks at you. As you welcome him home, he just gave you a smile saying that his t-shirt looks cute on you and asked you if you wanted a jacket of his. Nothing happened, which makes you think of other things to try it out to him, but he does not budge.
Right now, an opportunity strikes yet you were contemplating if you'd do it or not.
"Y/N?" He softly called out your name when you stopped massaging his shoulders.
You looked at his tired figure. Since he just finished his work and is tired as he attended three meetings to publish, interview, and check, you can't find the right timing.
"How about we move to the bedroom? I'll massage your back," you suggested. His eyelashes flutter as he slowly opened his eyes. Damn, don't fight me he's beautiful! Tired eyes, almost in a state of dozing off, meeting yours. Fine. You won't execute your plan.
"Keiji?" You called him out but he just stared at you before answering-"Let's just stay here," almost in a whisper.
"You sure?" You confirm. He hums.
You removed his glasses and he adjusted his body to the sofa for a more comfortable position. His head was already resting on the sofa when you decided to massage his head-particularly the roots of his head. You've never tried it to him before but you heard it was a good way to lessen one's stress.
You first started to massage his temple.
"Thank you," Akaashi murmured. His head finally started to relax.
"Doing this is fine. Don't overwork yourself, alright? At least get some time to breathe." He hummed in response.
Your hands traveled on the top of his head, gently pulling his hair when he flinches. He groans.
"Y/N, what're you doing?" He asked, eyes open.
"Massaging you?" You answered obviously.
"You're pulling my hair."
"Eh? Why? Does it hurt? I thought I did it comfortably though?" You were sure it wasn't enough to pain him.
"Yeah, sorry. I...am just surprised." He tries to close his eyes as you continue. The feeling of your fingertips on his roots is supposed to be relaxing, right?
You started to hum a song and its melody is calming. Gently pulling his hair again, he can't help his memory to travel back a month ago- Your voice in the background while squirming under him, calling out his name repeatedly as he gets deeper in you- his thoughts were disrupted when you accidentally pulled his hair in a force due to the shock when your phone on the table beside him rung.
"Sorry. I'll just answer this one." You stand up and went to get it, sitting on the space on his side.
"Oh, it's just a text."
He stared at you while you type a reply to a friend who's inviting you for a drink tonight. The thoughts coming back flamed due to the sudden force you exerted earlier. It's what you always do when he reaches and touches a good spot in you- clenching on his locks while gasping for air.
Akaashi's mouth parted, desire engulfing his whole as he gulps. He gets up, snatching your phone away.
"He-" as you turned into him, his soft lips landed on yours. It wasn't what he always does which starts passionately, the kisses he's giving you are not rushed but seem to follow a rhythm. His other hand slowly traveling your waist as he pulls you closer.
When he gives you a few seconds to take a breathe-still staying so close, you asked in a hoarse voice-"I-I...thought y-you're... t-tired?"
"Hmm?" His eyes focusing on your lips. Quickly placing your phone on the table, almost tossing it, you blink. Is this a chance?
When he went back on the position, Akaashi's hand gently placed on your cheeks as you stared with one another-"You sure?" You confirmed. Well, he is...was tired.
He smiled as he leans closer to your lips, stopping for a second to say in a low whisper-"You don't know how much I've held back, Y/N." His lips again on yours, gentle as they are while his tongue asking for an entrance which you gave him without complaints. Your right hand clasping on his arms which started to climb from your waist up to your nape sending a shiver to your body as he deepens the kiss.
"When you wore my t-shirt. I could hardly hold back."
Your eyes were tightly closed as you follow his rhythm, Akaashi's other hand leisurely took both of yours to his shoulder. As he nibbles your lower lip, a sweet moan escapes. You felt two strong arms on your waist pulling your weight and you're finally straddling him.
"Sweet." He commented before one hand is creeping on the hem of your t-shirt. Warmth spread on your lower stomach when it finally makes contact with your skin. You were sure he's out of it since he's acting differently. He was never this eager. Was it because he's tired? Did something trigger him? Or his tank was already full? Whatever his reason is, you decided to just toss it.
Unconsciously, both your clasp tightening on his locks-the force made Akaashi smile and you felt it between the kiss. You whimper when you felt a bulge in between your thighs. Akaashi then started to loosen his tie while still focused on your lips. Gently pushing your back so you could lay down. His lips then traveled down to your neck, leaving a trail of butterfly kisses.
"H-here?" You asked him unsurely. His eyes were full of desire to have you under him, in addition to that the both of you were panting.
"Choose." He released a sharp breath while biting his lower inner lip as if restraining himself.
"I... b-bed."
Tumblr media
SUNA RINTARO
"So you want me to use these clothes instead of the ones we brought and choose for more than an hour?" You cleared up while staring at the other dress that Suna picks up for you.
"Did I not made it clear?" He asked on the other line as he started the car's engine.
"But you agreed to the dress earlier, and besides, I'm just meeting with my friends today." You whined, nudging the cloth of the pastel blue top he chose.
"You gonna wear that or I'm not taking you at the place?" He gave you options and you can't help but roll your eyes when you heard him stop the engine. Instead of answering him, you ended the call. This made Suna scoffed while looking at the screen of the ended call.
He then again started the car's engine as he goes to your place. No way on Earth he'll let you wear that dress- your back is almost bare in there! He took big steps upon reaching your apartment. As he opens the door, your figure greeted him. Your shoulder as if colored plum, light makeup made your face stunningly suit the dress's color, and how you tied your hair into a bun makes him throw daggers at you.
"I get that you're annoyed but no way I'm going to wear that! It almost looks like a jacket and it's summer as of the moment." You pointed out.
The both of you remained standing while his eyes examined your figure, his tongue poked the inside of his cheek before he glances back at you. Your forehead formed a crease when he took a step and leaned down to you. His frons almost touching yours when he whispers-"Y/N, babe..."
"Men in there would gobble you up whole, you understand?" "But I want to be at least presentable when I see them." You whined. "The ones I told you to wear were presentable enough." Lowering his head a bit more, he presses a kiss on the tip of your nose.
You pouted-"I wanted to show-off though." Within a close distance, Suna's lip slowly formed a smirk when an excellent idea pops on his head. Leaning on the side of your neck, you felt a tickle then a pang feeling made you gasp as you tried to push him away.
"Suna!" His arms encircling your small hip, slender fingers drawing circles on your back as one hand travels up to your nape, tugging it closer onto his mouth. He left for the other side of your neck as he does the same thing.
"What are you doing?!" One arm holding the left side of your neck. Knowing him, he must have left hickeys.
Hands still not leaving their places started to caress their designation, which feeling made you twitch. Suna lifted his arms which were on your back to your face, thumb touching the side of your lip. Closing the distance between you, he finally kissed you. You answered those kisses when his tongue tracing your lip, ending up in an open-mouthed one.
"I'll be late," you said in-between yet no other protest can be heard nor seen. He pulls you for a deeper one while his eyes half-close are drawn in pleasure.
"Don't care."
"S-Suna-" you can't help but hold back a moan from escaping when he lowered one of his hands down the hem of your dress. Unrushed with his actions as his fingers work on lowering your undergarment. You hold Suna's shoulders as you attempt to push him away.
"No can do, babe. If you really wanted me to pull away-" he intentionally cuts his sentence as he brought his lip close to your ear, his fingers found their way to your low part-"-push me with all your might." Thrusting a finger on your now wetness, you whimpered, grasping tightly his shoulders.
"Ooh~ What a welcome," he commented, earning a teary glare from you. He adds another finger as your eyes pursing tightly close. He nibbles your lobe. Although you wanted to push him, it seems that the strength you had left your body due to the rapture you are feeling right now. Suna started kissing your jawline, kitten licks at some area, then returns on watching you try your best not to moan loud during this crack of a day.
"D-don't s-stre-tch," you whimper in a broken voice once again followed by an escaped moan when he started shoving faster before he stretches you. Your grasp on his shoulder blades when you can feel your high- burying your head on his chest as you gasp for air while moaning his name.
He looks at you with sensual eyes, his lips parted a bit open as he stops- pulling his fingers out. A trail of lube as he draws back his hands.
"What the heck, Suna?!" You looked at him wide-eyed. He glances at you-"You said you're gonna be late, babe. We can't let that happen, ayt?" Suna commented while leaving you shock as he went to the kitchen to wash his hands.
You scoffed in disbelief. He passes you the tissue and you gave him a frown. When you took too long, Suna urges you to take it by twitching his head. You snatch it from his hand and stomp your way to the comfort room.
"Love you, Y/N!" He shouted teasingly. "I hate you!"

Cheating!Haikyuu x Reader
Tumblr media
✧ Summary: Akaashi and Kuroo getting caught cheating and begging you for forgiveness ➳ A/N: Honestly, I don’t think ANY of the boys would ever even consider it. They’re all so loving in their own ways and for anyone to actually do this would be absolutely horrible to their partners. ➳  Masterlist
But ask for angst and you shall receive. kuroo’s is funny and akaashi’s is not
----- xXxXxXxXxXx-----
✧ Intro:
You trusted your boyfriend of the past year explicitly. Your relationship was built on a mutual friendship, going from casual classmates to one day dating when he had asked you out. You were surprised to say the least, this was one of the members of the volleyball team. They were popular throughout school with the entire student body. And so for him to show interest in you? You honestly hadn’t believed it.
But as the months went on and a few became your everyday norm, along with even getting invited over his house to meet his family, you were sure that the man you were dating was the one.
You remembered the first time he kissed you, the first I love you that he ever whispered in your ears.
And so it broke your heart to find out that you were not the only one he was saying these words to.
The school you were attending was known to be a powerhouse regarding volleyball. You were proud of the national spotlight your boyfriend was fighting on. And you fully understood the times when he would be gone or busy for weeks at a time - whether it was for traveling far away for various training camps or just practicing long into the nights for upcoming tournaments.
You remembered the first time you saw it, the text that was very much not from you. The phone had vibrated while he was out of the room and you were not trying to be nosy - calling his name that he received a notification and glancing at it briefly through the motion.
I miss your lips on mine.
Tumblr media
You knew from the beginning that Akaashi always had a special connection to Bokuto. Even before you were close to the quiet setter, you admired how he always seemed to know how to lift Bokuto’s spirits. From the preliminary matches against Nekoma to just seeing the two in school, it made you want to foster such a close relationship with him yourself.
And on more than one occasion, you had to remind yourself they were just friends.
Your friends warned you ahead of time, that the two had a strong bond despite being separated by a year and not even attending the same junior high. You knew this and simply attributed it to his patience and overall ability to read people.
When you had once asked Akaashi about his relationship with the nationally acclaimed ace, he smiled and said, “He can be a lot to handle. But I love watching Bokuto-san play when he’s in the zone.”
You took it a face value, instead relishing in the comfort knowing that your boyfriend was wrapping his arms around you.
Months later, with that insecurity pushed in the back of your mind, it all came swarming out at Bokuto-san’s text. There was no denying what you were reading or who it was from. It was even accompanied by owl emojis of all things - as if there was anything cute about your boyfriend’s affair.
Your attention was caught and you needed confirmation, scrolling up through their conversation and seeing similar words spanning the last few hours alone. Had he been texting Bokuto the entire time he was sitting here with you?
You threw his phone back on the couch and stood, moving before even thinking about how you looked.
Why would Akaashi do this? Akaashi?? The kind, loving Akaashi Keiji who had the love of the whole school? Hadn’t he chosen you?
Standing in the middle of his family’s living room, you put a hand on your chest to steady your breathing. You felt the onset of panic gripping your chest, threatening to force tears to the corners of your eyes. There was nothing you could say, you just had to see if it was true.
How long had this been going on? Is it possible that this was before you were even dating? Why was Akaashi stringing along the both of you? Were any of the promises Akaashi told you true?
There was no denying the sudden jump of fear you had when Akaashi walked back in the room, a questioning look on his face as he saw you try to level your breathing.
“What’s wrong?” He asked.
As if he had no idea, no reason to truly think that he was the cause behind your unease.
You tried your best to feign a smile, but there was no point in hiding anything to someone as cunning as Akaashi, you figured. He was best at reading other people. Instead, you held your frown and motioned to your phone, “I got a bad text from my mom - I need to go home.”
Akaashi was already moving toward you, arms reaching out to steady you at the shoulders. He was such a comforting foundation for you. And yet now, his close proximity brought nothing but anxiety and anger.
He seemed to notice since Akaashi dropped his hands to his sides. “Alright, let me walk you home?”
You nodded in agreement, not trusting your voice. You worried that you were going to unintentionally spill out the word vomit - accusing words ready on the tip of your tongue. He still reached out to encase your hand in his own, silently walking side-by-side for the entire time.
Thankfully, you had different homerooms and could avoid him for the first initial hours of school the next day. Did you have a plan? Absolutely fucking not. But you knew that you had to see them together - see them in their element and see why.
You needed to know the reason why Akaashi would throw away everything you built together.
You stayed silent to your friends, not even telling your best friend what happened. Not that you were afraid of Akaashi finding out that you knew somehow, but you wanted to see what was naturally between them, without anyone else’s interference.
Akaashi had thankfully given you your space, probably assuming that your family emergency from before was what was holding you down. It also helped that they had a practice match against Itachiyama at the end of the week, so he was called to practice especially more.
He always had such beautiful hands, despite the hours of practice he dedicated to his sport. It made you wonder what he did with them. There were a number of times before where Akaashi would text you late into the night, citing that Bokuto had demanded more practice with his spikes.
Was Akaashi really setting a ball for five hours straight after your last mid-terms?
You had a million questions in your head as you sat in the stands with your friends, watching the game of Fukurōdani vs Itachiyama. Bokuto was at the top of his game today, none of his usual vices holding him down as he played against his rival, Sakusa. For you and the other students cheering on the team, it could have been easily seen as just another game.
But it wasn’t.
You watched how Akaashi’s gaze would sometimes linger on Bokuto, long legs guiding his stride to a spike. The ace seemed to fly above the net, passion for their shared sport radiating even up in the stands where you were sitting. The fond expression Akaashi had only brought up his earlier words to mind - I love watching him play.
The interaction was so strangely intimate and yet public for any spectator the game. The moment passed, time moving forward as you continued to analyze every smile Akaashi shot the ace. Bokuto’s raised an overjoyed fist in the air in his excitement over the single point. He yelled his usual, Hey! Hey! Hey! And while you found the action usually humorous, you could only stare in blank realization as Akaashi fondly smiled at the spiker’s words.
There was no rising panic this time, nothing inside you screaming at you that something was wrong.
Your eyes kept following the scene, the game playing out while you stood stock-still among your friends. But your mind was already made up, long before the game ended. You thought about it a few times over the past few days, why Bokuto? Why you?
Why did Akaashi even approach you in the first place?
Thinking back to any conversations you had with Akaashi that surrounded volleyball. All their little volleyball antics - it was always about Bokuto. He got in trouble with the principal, got depressed during a game, even something as simple as being overly hungry before a match. And who was the one to always pick him up?
Akaashi.
And this was not something that could be as simply waved off as teammates. Neither Haruki nor Konoha were like this with the ace and both of them knew Bokuto longer than Akaashi. Kaori had even joked to you once that Akaashi was capable of reading Bokuto’s mind.
You were a fool.
You hadn’t told Akaashi you were going to attend this practice match in the first place and you honestly had no intention of doing so.
Instead, you texted Bokuto during the game to meet you outside by the entrance stairs, alone.
Most of the other students had already filled out of the gymnasium, out into the streets on their way home as you leaned against the cold railing. You could hear Bokuto’s quick steps around the corner before you even saw him.
“Hey, (L/N)-chan! What’s up?” He greeted you in a friendly manner, waving with one hand fully outstretched even though you were only a few feet away from each other.
You weren’t going to smile and pretend.
“Bokuto-san.” You stated, looking him in the eyes head-on.
Despite his amicable disposition, Bokuto had quite the intimidating disposition to outsiders. The tall spiker was built with muscles, arms and legs looking seemingly sculpted. And here you were, pointing a heavy glare with your chin held-high at a man who could very easily over-power you.
“Don’t smile at me like everything’s okay.” You started, “I know.”
His smile immediately squashed to a straight line, eyes hardening as they looked down at you. Bokuto crossed his arms, his athletic duffel pushed to the side of his body.
“I won’t apologize for being in love with him.” His voice rang through the calm outdoors, not a single soul to hear his confession other than you.
You scoffed, “How did I already know you’d say that?”
Bokuto kept your question rhetorical, for once staying uncharacteristically silent. His gaze never wavered off of yours, eyes boring right into you as you wordlessly sized each other up.
“I tried to let him go, once.” Bokuto continued, “When you first started dating, I tried and couldn’t.”
They were together before you were even in the picture.
You bit your lip, asking. “And you’re going to ask me not to make you do it again?”
Bokuto paused, uncrossing his arms and looking heavenward for the right answer. How could he? They were already on the road to love before you even really knew Akaashi. Why did he ask you out in the first place? Why progress this far in your relationship?
None of this was right and you had every bone in your body screaming at you to beat the ever loving shit out of the two volleyball players. But there was one thing you needed to cut off now.
“I don’t need an answer to confirm what you’re thinking.” You stated, “Treat his heart kindly.”
Bokuto sputtered, raising his arms in defense. “Akaashi chose you - he asked you out!”
You almost snarled at the irony, “As if that matters! What’s a label against the fact that he’s been in love with you during that entire time?”
He recoiled, nothing to say against your true question. You were his girlfriend, but how could that possibly matter when his heart continually lingered on the ace in front of you. And, since the volleyball God’s hated you, it was no surprise when the setter turned the corner to your impassioned conversation.
“What’s happening here?” His voice rang out, meeting Bokuto’s worried expression and your hardened one.
Akaashi stopped in his stride the moment he saw the both of you, not moving closer to you or Bokuto and simply guarding his expression from leaking any of his inner thoughts.
“I thought about this a million times over the past few days.” You said low, but voice strong enough for the others to hear. “How I would yell at you, curse you to your face... But now that I see you, you’re pathetic.”
Akaashi was the master of a blank expression, but now there was nothing but panic and hurt written all over his face. Whatever words he was going to say, to somehow excuse his behavior, died on his lips when you calmly raised your palm to stop him.
How dare he.
"I don’t want to know why you led me on for so long. Or why you decided stringing along Bokuto this whole time would be good to the people you claim to love.”
Bokuto frowned, looking to the side away from the two of you, but said nothing to refute your statement.
“Don’t ever talk to me again.”
You walked away from Akaashi then, turning away and heading home without looking back. There was nothing left, no words that could ever explain or fix the situation, not that you wanted him to try either. Bokuto’s voice reached you mid-way through the steps, his words low but aimed toward Akaashi.
The words were low and you were surprised you were even able to hear them: She’s not wrong.
The next day at school neither of them were present.
You laid it all out to your best friends at lunch then, all of you sitting under the apple tree and quietly listening to your story. They offered you small condolences, never bringing up the volleyball team or practice matches around you ever again. Konoha shot you a wilted frown in passing, no words enough to even start that conversation.
You only saw Akaashi one more time. It was no surprise that Fukurōdani was progressing to the Spring Nationals and everyone at school were quick to congratulate various team members on their victory. You saw them, preening around the lunchroom as the student body wished them luck.
They were holding hands.
You lingered on the sight for a single second. But it was enough for Akaashi to notice your eyes, shooting a withered smile in your direction.
There was nothing you wanted to do in response, nothing left for you to say and hope for when it came to the setter. And so you simply turned back to your friends, rejoining the conversation with thoughts of the volleyball team long behind you.
Tumblr media
You had to re-read the text three times, your mind whirling in circles to accept the fact that this was for your Tetsurō.
It was only when your hands flew to scroll upwards that you realized yes, this was really happening. It was all so quick - he had left the room to use the bathroom, or whatever, at this point you hadn’t even remembered why. Just his phone, which he always had on him, had vibrated away on your coffee table.
You grabbed it half-mindedly, original intention to bring it to him and maybe leave it at the door in case it was some type of volleyball-related emergency. He was the captain, after all. And so when the actual contents of the texts grabbed your attention, it was all over from there.
The profile picture was of the popular student body president, her shining face radiating even now. The other boys of the volleyball team had always complimented her and brought her up in conversation. Before you were even dating, you remembered that Kuroo particularly agreed with many of her features: long-hair, mild temper, and good grades even in college prep classes.
You were on the average scale of things - average grades in college prep, a member of photography club, but not particularly motivated - you were easily replaceable in the fast-paced world that Kuroo and others were constantly facing. And while you tried not to dwell on it too much, Kuroo was at the top of class with many of the female student body interested in him - there were times he had inadvertently made you felt small.
But Kuroo did try to wave those thoughts away, saying that you were the one he was in love with. It was only for you that he showed his soft side and only you were the recipient of his loving gestures.
And yet now you had in your hands evidence that none that was true.
You wanted to scream - reading all the affectionate phrases he had typed away to this woman.
Were you going to accuse him, then and there? What were you even going to say to him?
Kuroo made the choice for you.
“What are you doing with my phone?” He asked, voice promulgating the silent room.
You were sure that your eyes were glossy as you responded back quietly, “I was going to bring it to you when it kept ringing.”
“Thanks babe, just pass it over.” He said calmly, outstretching a palm in your direction.
You held the phone to your chest, there was no way you could feign a reaction now. This was no longer the simple interaction that you could pretend would pass over, the adulterous text was still open on the screen, open for both parties to quickly see.
His grey-eyes surveyed you silently, not a single word uttered, as if it would break this unmoving conversation. You always found his observant stare endearing, how his greatest weapon on the volleyball court was something he used on you to understand you better.
And now, you could only imagine what he was truly thinking throughout your relationship.
Kuroo’s fond looks, those kind smiles, they were all calculated actions to keep you on his hook. They were not the loving terms of endearment you believed them to be. They were deliberate ways to sate your relationship, nothing more.
You frowned, handing him the phone and biting out coldly. “I want you to leave.”
“Listen babe, it’s not what you think.” Kuroo was reaching for you, taking steps to close the distance before you fled away entirely.
“Of course! What was I thinking?!” Your voice was raising with every word, anger seeping through toward the middle-blocker. “Some other girl texting you: I dream of waking up to you every day, could be some other context that what I’m too small-minded to know? Right?”
He followed behind you as you traversed through your empty house. You just wanted to get away from him, just the very image of Kuroo was enough to make you angry and inescapably hurt. There was so much you wanted to just yell at him, but at the same time you knew this was the man who held your heart.
And the same one who chose to break it.
What was there even to say to him? You’ve won? Congratulations? Get out of my house?
“Get out!” You settled on that and yelled behind you, your voice weak as you sucked in air between tears. Kuroo continued to follow behind you despite your loud command.
You pushed open the door to your bedroom and attempted to slam it behind you, but a simple kick of his foot and it stayed open. Instead, Kuroo closed it and locked it as he followed.
He had you cornered.
Would it be crazy if you jumped out the window?
Your eyes shot to the opening at the side-wall of your room, but it seemed his gaze followed your own path when he grabbed your elbow and pulled you to him.
Kuroo had his hands on your shoulders, trying to calm you down. “Please just listen to me.”
“Listen to what?” You were trying to push him away, but Kuroo refused to budge against you.
He leaned his chin against the top of your head, one of his arms going down to wrap around your waist. “Stop, you know I would never do anything to hurt you.”
“Then why...?”
“It looks bad. I know it does.” Kuroo started to explain, “But I can prove to you that this isn’t what you think.”
You sniffed, not saying anything as you waited for whatever bullshit response was already formulating on his lips.
What you hadn’t expected was for Kuroo to raise the phone to your ear, the ringing of the outgoing call blasting next to you.
What was he doing? Was he insane?
You didn’t want to listen to her voice, listen to whatever she was going to say when she picked up the phone. Loving words, teasing innuendo’s, all of that you shared with Kuroo and now he was going to show-off what he had with another girl?
You twisted against him, ready to fight out of outrage of not only being cheated on, but also Kuroo doing the utmost stupid thing he could ever do and showing it off in front of you.
The voice that rang out froze you in your actions.
“Captain! Was my text really bad that you had to call?”
“... Yamamoto-san?” You near-whispered back in recognition.
You heard what was almost a yelp back. He stuttered over your name, before asking, “Ah, you and um. You and Kuroo-san are spending your day off together?”
Taking hold of the phone yourself, you looked at the screen and saw that it was indeed to the same student body president that the call was going through to. Same icon, same everything. So why was Yamamoto on the other side of the line? You looked up at Kuroo briefly, the middle-blocker staring at you right back. He urged the phone back to your ear, reminding you that Nekoma’s ace was still on the other side of the line.
“...Yeah.” You answered back weakly, remembering his initial question.
“... Was there something you needed?” He asked nervously.
“Um.” You bit your lip and looked at Kuroo, “Why is your name saved as our student body president in Kuroo’s phone?”
“Aasdfgh.” The strangled noise lasted for ten seconds before Kuroo cleared his throat next to you. “Captain! You’re there too!”
“Explain it, now.” Kuroo said flatly, his voice plain as his grip on your waist tightened. You put a hand on his chest in an attempt to keep him at a distance. You were still mad, admittedly also confused, but you didn’t want Kuroo to just hug the issue away.
Of course, he pushed your hand away and continued to hold you close.
“Please, don’t judge me (L/N)-san!”
Your confusion was only growing. “Um. What’s going on?”
“somycrushgavemehernumberbuticanttalktogirlsandididntwanttomessupsoiwaspracticingwhattosayonkurooandtherestandthentheygotmadsosometimesitextmyselffromtheirphonenumbersaspractice!”
The words were so fast, you held the phone closer to your ear in an attempt to decipher anything that was just said.
“Wait, what?”
Yamamoto sighed loudly before exclaiming, “I can’t talk to my crush!”
You tilted your head in confusion, “... Kuroo’s your crush?”
The middle-blocker sighed above you, moving to flick your forehead while Yamamoto was near screaming in outrage on the line.
“No!! I.. I don’t have a lot of experience talking to girls! And then my crush gave me her number and she started texting me! And believe me, I tried practicing on otome games and even they dumped me!”
“Uhh...”
His loud voice kept going, explaining the strange tale, “And so I was begging the guys to help me practice and eventually they got sick of me too! She was really into me too and we were flirting and I wasn’t ready!! I don’t have anyyyy experience, (L/N)-san!!”
You shot a look up to Kuroo, his gaze locked on you without any other hints of an expression on. You were sure that your face was a mix of incredulous and worried, was this for real?
“And then she started texting me dirty things and I wanted to do it back, so Kuroo taught--”
“Skip it.” The middle-blocker stated harshly, cutting off the ace.
“Aasdafhauh.” Yamamoto outwardly struggled, remembering that both Kuroo and you, a female, were on the line. “I thought all was lost and then Kuroo let me practice texting myself and seeing how it looked from his phone!”
Oh.
lmao
“Wait, what?”
Kuroo summarized it plainly for you. “It means he was practicing sexting himself from my phone.”
“Ca-Captain!” His voice rang out.
You could not help your growing, amused smile. “Is it true?”
“I - well, yes...”
His voice trailed, but you held in your chuckle. “Ah, thanks for clearing that up.”
Yamamoto paused before asking, “Did my impassioned words led to a misunderstanding?”
“I’m sure your words are the least of your problems tomorrow at practice.”  Kuroo answered this time, earning an anguished exclamation before the middle-blocker hung-up and threw the phone away.
That was not what you were expecting.
Your mind was in a million places, not sure what to say and what you were just witness to. Kuroo pulled you along to your bed, near throwing you on top while you were distracted in your thoughts.
He hovered above you, placing a light kiss on your forehead and then trailing down the side of your face. You cupped his cheek, still trying to process what the hell just happened, but moved to slot his lips against yours and reassure yourself that this was real.
Kuroo pulled away and whispered against your lips, “I know it looks crazy, but please trust in me - in us.”
You nodded silently, simply stating an okay when Kuroo continued to stare at you.
“I want this... more than just now in high school.” Kuroo looked to the side, before returning his gaze back to you.
Guiding his head back to yours, you pushed off your elbow to lean up to him. “Me too. I’m sorry for being so quick to accuse you.”
“Stop.” He murmured against your skin, small pecks following his wake. “I should’ve explained it to you before.”
“I mean, it does sound pretty crazy.” You joked, a fond smile growing on your face as Kuroo continued to shower your neck with small kisses. “To think you were flirting with Yamamoto of all people.”
“Oi.” A small scowl was already on his face.
You were ready to tease your poor boyfriend, “Sorry, you were sexting him.”
Kuroo rolled his eyes, a hand already sneaking its way under your shirt. “Why don’t I show you what I was teaching him?”
You felt your eyes comically widen at his boldness, any hint of your previous teasing falling away as your boyfriend’s sly smirk crawled further and further down your body.
The love you felt for Kuroo was undeniably mutual, but you had to learn to trust your boyfriend.

Different Ways To Say Sorry
Your body sat idle in the hallway as you kept roaming your thoughts and only coming back to earlier .
After the argument with your boyfriend you were left alone , alone with akaashi who normally would have kept his mouth closed but decided not to when he seen your stuck expression after kuroos comment
As soon as you heard the loud bang of the house door and the engine start up kuroos yelling for bokuto to open the door and to slow down made your body fall instantly.
Marking the spot where you’d pushed bokuto into the wall cursing yourself for your actions . Shivering as you felt the wave of coldness wash over you thinking about the harmful words you’d said
“ y/n you didn’t mean any of it it’s ok “
akaashi’s soft voice came out as he dropped the sign he held that he helped bokuto make for you to welcome you home for your birthday.
Bokuto was childish and you knew it but he meant no harm he was just happy and excited little things excited him and when he was happy you were
So , if he was sad you would only be 2x as sad if the one who created his sadness was yourself
“ I heard you telling bokuto off and — thats not you not once since you’ve dated bokuto—san in the 4 years that you’ve been dating have I seen you get that mad “
he sighed as he hesitantly tried to squat near you
“ d-do you mind “ you nodded your head in a no allowing him to sit next to you while you cried into his shoulder
“ everyone has bad days y/n-san and everyone has had a moment in their life where they’ve said something they regret and that’s ok as long as the person you’ve said it to knows you didn’t mean it “
he squeezed you as you cried heavily “ y/n we all know bokuto is — “ he thought for a moment before speaking “ different from your average person — hes in a way easy “
he sighed as he spoke “ what I mean is you don’t have to do much to say sorry to bokuto so don’t cry really i’m sure he knows you didn’t mean any of it just — for me please when you see him again — please tell him you love him remind him you still love him “
akaashi rubbed your head “ because he’s one of those people when someone gets mad at him — especially someone he loves — if they get mad at him he immediately feels like he’s getting disciplined and like he’s done something really really wrong to be rewarded that behavior — any other award besides praise really “
you loosened your grip on akaashi’s shirt lifting your head to cry into your own hands “ so please when he comes back to you please just make it simple for him he won’t understand many words and won’t believe you if you say a simple sorry he’ll still think your upset and be scared that he’ll screw up again — I promise you he’s never gonna want to touch a stove in his life again— so I wonder what he’ll eat when he’s on the roa-“ akaashi laughed as he quickly calmed down coughing before wiping his sweaty hands on his pants
“ oh um— i’m sorry I thought a joke was a way to go that’s typically what bokuto does in these situations— or maybe you don’t want to keep talking about bokuto “ akaashi spoke out loud running through his thoughts and filtering them out loud
“ oh I should’ve kept myself out of business that’s not mine I feel so disgusted i’m telling you how to treat your boyfriend I- i’m sorry y/- “
“ akaashi I don’t want to trouble you — you may leave“
“ oh “ his voice came out in surprise before he sat confused “ oh — I no I couldn’t “
“ it’s fine akaashi I’ll be ok I just need some time alone “
he sighed he felt bad really but “ i’m sorry y/n I don’t think bokuto would ever forgive me — I don’t think i’d ever forgive myself if I let you stay in your home alone after something like that “
you stared at the ceiling as if you were actually talking to someone conveying sadness as your tears were still leaking “ keiji just please — it’s been a long day and I think I just screwed up my relationship — so could you please just leave me to my thoughts i’ll — i’ll be fine “
akaashi sighed as he moved to stand hugging you softly on the way up “ y/n i’m sorry to treat you like a child — to even put my foot down like this in a house that’s not mine and I don’t pay the bills for but — the most I can do and i’ll allow myself to do is leave the house and wait outside until bokuto comes back “
he sighed “ or at least texts me and tells me he’s gonna come back home because — if not I wouldn’t want you here alone just replaying that fight again and again like i’ve known bokuto to do when he’s lost matches you two are alike that way “
“ I-i’m fine with that just please “
he nodded his head as if you could see him your eyes were stuck to the same wall that was in front of the one bokuto was pushed into— your back up against it bit staring ahead at the corner he stood in when he left.
Hearing the door close and lock assuming akaashi had locked it for you with his key you two made for him so he could check on bokuto anytime he was home and you weren’t
Your body moving to stare directly at the door from the hallway so you’d always have an eye on it to see if bokuto ever returned home tonight.
‘ please’ you thought calmly
It wasn’t a short wait it was rather long You knew it had to be late in the morning when you finally heard the clicking and clacking around by the door until your eyes looked up eyebags weighing them down as you shook in your suit pants that you wore suddenly feeling sweaty as you ripped off the suit jacket.
The rattling and shaking at the door stopping assuming whoever it was —- was taking a moment to think before they walked in as if giving you some time to understand who it was and to prepare
The door opened slowly as your boyfriends hair came into view him standing at the doorstep eyes swollen and glazed over ,fist scratched and hands red , body shaking softly.
Your eyes watered as you just stared at his face thinking ‘ I did that ‘ mentally beating yourself up as your tears fell soft whimpers making their way out of your mouth as you covered it trying to conseal your spot on the floor so he wouldn’t notice
His eyes lifting up as he took a really deep breath and spoke “ y-y/n “ he called voice cracking as he tried again
“ y/n i went to play volleyball— at —at the gym and I got so mad I hurt myself from the constant spikes“ he stayed at the doorstop —door opened fully showing off everything he had with him.
His hand holding 3 roses , left hand holding a bag which , you weren’t sure consisted of and right next to his foot a box “ p-please answe-answer me “
you gulped you didn’t know if you could
You really didn’t know if you could tell your boyfriend that you were directly in front of him and he only had to look down .
“ I-it’s 4 in the mo-morning and I — I’ve been crying since 7 last night — so — so I can only imagine how your feeling h-how long you’ve been crying “
The flowers he held were soon dropped down by his legs as he only held on loosely to the bottom “ I-I dont want to just walk in y/n b-because I don’t know if I’m allowed to I-if I can so please — please let me know your ok “
your voice was soft he could barely hear it as you looked down at the floor
” y-your alwa—here I am being an a-ass to you earlier and you — you care to come back and ask if i’m ok first “ you felt your body shudder in a cry
“ I-i’m such an asshole — I was mad at work — I came home upset —- I brought my attitude home and my first thought was to be m-mean to someone who I love “
Bokutos body moved quickly to drop the things at the door you couldn’t even find it in you to care that he left the door wide open as he ran to you checking you out and lifting your head to inspect it before he stuttered thinking over his actions before kissing you hard on your mouth before he pulled back whispering out small apologies for the action and how he felt bad if he made you uncomfortable
you moved to stand up as he backed away going to grab everything and dragging it inside the house speaking to you as you sat down “ y/n I “
“ ko I just don’t want— “
his voice was hard for the first time today shutting you up instantly “ be quiet y/n “ his eyebrows were hard and done up in a furrow
“ I-I know your pissed at me and I know I can be a bit much and I — “ he was crying
“ I know i’m a child — people see me as a kid and i’m not I swear I can be adult I can be as adult as you want me to just so I can stay with you —I can pay taxes and figure them out if you wanted me to —if you wanted me to go get a real job and quit volleyball i’d do it all for you— because I love you and I don’t care if you want me out of the house “ his tears fell
“ I don’t care if you want me to have no closet space and want to burn my clothes but please — please don’t say you don’t love me it — it I can’t live without your love - you — you do so much for me and i’m so thankful anytime I have a meet your right there — anytime i’m frustrated your there explaining it — anytime I have to travel your on the phone talking to my management team finding tickets for you and all the other s/o “ he wiped at his eyes trying to see better
“ please forgive me i’m sorry i’m a m-man child I don’t know what that is but i’m so sorry for being it and i’m sorry it’s something you hate and I don’t wanna be what you hate y/n i’m sorry — I didn’t know what to do “
he was just saying nonsense now since his tears were clouding his brain “ I didn’t know where to go and kuroo was talking so much and I couldn’t focus and I ended up just buying all your favorite stuff because I thought you didn’t love me anymore so I wanted to beg for your forgiveness at the doorstop just now but —and then you were crying and I — I wanted to kiss you because your so pretty and I hate when you cry unless it’s over me winning and scoring the last point in my game — you look so pretty and proud then — and I like making you proud not sad “
he was clawing at his cheeks and eyes trying to get the tears to stop “ I— I just — my credit card I just bought everything I knew you liked —y/n — baby I bought a dog I don’t — I was — I bought a dog because you said dogs are pretty I bought a hat because you said the hat could go well with an outfit you had “
you smiled as your tears were falling too “ babe I bought a balloon because you said you like the way they lose air after 3 days — I even bough—“
“ baby it’s fine “ you cried as you moved to hug him squeezing tightly “ it’s ok I — this is my fault i’m so sorry “
you cried into his shirt “ your not a man child — which means —you don’t need to know actually it’ll just make things worse “
“ are you saying my shirts are too tight baby “
he cried out “ y/n that’s not funny — I’m buff —I build ok — I workout there’s nothing I can do about it “
“ no ko your perfect the way you are your my buff boyfriend and I love you for it your my brick wall baby“
“ I am “
“ yes and I love you and i’m so proud of how far you’ve come since high school i’m proud of you no matter where you travel to or what you do “
you smiled “ that’s why I missed so many days of work not because I just wanted to be home but because you were coming home for the first time in 2 months and I wanted to be home with you making sure you were comfortable and telling you how much I missed you “
he smiled as you spoke “ your an amazing boyfriend kou and I can’t imagine anyone who wouldnt be happy with you “
“ but I just spent all the money you and akaashi allow me to have on my card “
“ you can have more “ you laughed “ your not broke kou it’s just so you don’t spend all the money you make from volleyball “
he hugged you as you continued to speak “ do you forgive me “
he hugged you tighter kissing you softly as it turned into a heated kiss you trying to stop it before he turned it into more “ why’d you stop “ he said sadly
“ bokuto our door is wide open and “ your eyes came up in a raise
“ what babe what are you looking for “
your voice was high pitched as you looked at all the bags around you “ bo— baby where’s the dog “
his eyes came up in a crease “ what dog “ his brain finally clicking and hurrying to rumage through everything on the floor. Your bodies moving together in a fast pace as you moved over to look around the house.
The chaos going on inside your house all night rivaled the one that was taking place the next day in the car that sat right in your driveway
“ u-uh ok “ akaashi’s face was made up in a straight line as he looked down closing his car door softly
“ s-so um i’m gonna guess bokuto bought you “
the dog cocked its head to the side staring up at the tall male “ d-do you um wanna go back inside with him or “
the dog barked loudly as if scared “ yeah i’m gonna take that as a no “
he reached down to pick up the dog before opening the car door and setting it down in the passenger seat speaking as the dog whimpered “ yeah I don’t trust them either — they lost a whole dog in one night — “
akaashi’s face turned as he saw bokuto walking down the steps and to his car him throwing his coat over the animal “ i’m sorry — i’m sorry — you can come out in a moment “
“hey — hey akaashi “
“ b-bokuto-san hey “
“ aw did you stay out here all night i’m so sorry “ he smiled “ me and y/n are fine thank you for staying here with her “
“ yeah it was no problem really bokuto “
“ hey akaashi I — I actually lost a dog last night and I — I was wondering have you seen it “
“ uh dog ? why’d you have a dog “ bokuto froze as he bit his lip “ so you don’t have it good good “
he moved to leave patting akaashi’s car before he heard a ruffle come from inside “ hey dude somethings moving next to you “
“ oh — it’s um just my phone — I have to go in to work today “
“ wow you have a huge phone “ bokutos voice was raised in happiness “ what model is it I think I want a new one — especially if it’s big enough to fit in my hands with out my thumbs clicking weird buttons “
he pouted “ it’s not fun to retype messages “ akaashi moved to start the car up “ s-sorry bokuto really gotta go but i’ll be back sometime tomorrow “
“ o-oh ok bye akaashi “ he waved as he moved back up the stairs you meeting him at the top laughing as you pulled him back in the house
“ damn thought he would’ve saw the dog “
“ koutaro — baby he has the dog “ you smiled as you laughed pulling his pouting body into a hug “ he stole our dog “
“ well that’s not very nice “
“ let’s let him have it baby he needs it more than us — he can take care of it better “
