Team BEBE was filming the last bit of reaction segments with Mnet while they were interrupted by a few raps on their door. “Come in!” Lusher greeted her co-captain dance mate in with a hug.

Latrice slowly poked her head through the door, “Hey Bada can I borrow you for a quick second?”

Bada looked up, confused, but walked over nonetheless. “Is everything alright?”

“Calling in a personal favour,” Latrice smiled nervously, “can you go on a dinner tonight?”

“Dinner? Sure!” The choreographer hummed and nodded excitedly, “BEBE with Jam Republic?”

“You and Y/N,” Latrice snickered, “I have a date and had to bail, but she’ll be much much kinder to me if you’d go in my place instead.”

Bada raised an eyebrow and pointed at herself. Perplexed, she sounded a little dumbfounded, “Me? Why?”

Latrice rolled her eyes at the obvious question, “She has a fat celebrity crush on you since she the first episode aired, that’s why. Now please, pretty please with a cherry on top, would you go in my place tonight so she don’t-” Latrice stopped dead as you decided you’ve had enough of her ignoring your text and started calling her instead. Her eyes widen slightly in fear as she turned to the taller dancer. “Bada please I’ll owe you one, I’m so so sorry-” she swiped and picked up your call, “heyyyy Y/N, I was just telling Bada about your dinner plan tonight. She’s super keen! Here you go-”

Latrice palmed the phone to the choreographer like a hot potato, mouthing ‘thank you’ at the blonde.

Dinner with Bada? The sentence hasn’t fully registered in your brain as you begun to rip your high school mate a new one. “Ms. Kabamba,” you uttered with the coldest tone you could muster, a tone that Latrice knows all too well. A tone you only take with her when she knows she’s done something stupid, again.

“Sorry to disappoint,” a familiar voice broke you out of your rant. “Ms. Lee here. I heard we have plans?”

Damnit that cunt, I’ll deal with her later. You quickly composed yourself, “Never a disappointment, love. Any dietary restrictions?” You tried to mitigate your hoarse voice (from screaming ‘CUNNNNTTTTTT’ right before Latrice picked up the phone) and previously harsh tone by being as sweet as possible with your word choice, knowing that phone call rarely - if ever - made you sound more personable.

Love? Your husky delivery had the tall dancer flustered, trying to hide a blush taking form on her cheeks. Bada gulped, hard, and stumbled over her words, “N-no, I’m not picky. Where and when?” She tried to pass it off as cool and nonchalant, but Lusher seemed to have picked up on her change in tone.

“I’ll pick you up when you finish for the day? Latrice gave me their schedule.” Bada hummed over the phone, you can almost see her cute head bop as she does. Okay, dinner with Bada. One-on-one. I can do this, no biggie, fuck. “See you then, Love.”

Latrice gave Bada a parting hug when the call was over, the latter still bewildered by the unexpected call. “Thank you so, so much. You’re a life saver. Have fun later!” She quickly shuffled out the room, shutting the door behind her.

Lusher peaked over the tall dancer’s shoulder, Bada’s cheeks still warm from the conversation. She gasped as the blonde slowly clasped her hands onto her face, letting out a small shriek. “Oh god Bada what was that all about?” The co-captain raised an eyebrow at her leader’s demeanour.

“Lusher, did you bring an extra outfit?” Was the first thing that came out of Bada’s mouth.

Y/N: You’re off the hook

Y/N: I will grill you afterwards 😇

When you pulled up in your bike, you did not expect the gorgeous specimen to be walking out the building in a skirt. You gulped and paused for a (significant) moment, marvelling at her (legs). Her hair sat perfectly, framing her face. She smiled and waved at you, walking (omg her legs) over with a small prance (her legs y’all). “Hey, thanks for picking me up.”

“God you look amazing.” After pulling yourself together, you realised a slight problem. “I am so sorry,” you quickly apologised, motioning her skirt (legs), “I did not plan accordingly.”

She chuckled and shook her head, “Don’t worry about these, tights underneath. My hair however, is a different story.”

Relieved, you handed her a helmet with a smile and hopped onto the bike, signalling her to get on. Bada giggled and straddled herself behind you, wrapping her hands around your waist. Both of you were suddenly very grateful for the helmets for keeping you road safe and hiding blushes. “You good?” You did one last check. Bada hummed and gave you a soft squeeze before you both rode off.

Jane Crocker was made to be ooc and evil in HS2... or WAS SHE?!?!?!? 🧐🧐🧐

Here is my Homestuck Theory:

From a young age Jane was involved with Crockercorp. She even used the UNREAL HEIRESS THOUGHTWAVE TIARATOP, which was basically force-feeding her propaganda, literally straight into her brain. Even her vision becomes covered with propaganda and ads.

Much later, we see Jane reminiscing on her old room. She sees the tiaratop and admits that "it was doing funny things" to her head.

Despite that, she decides to put it on again, and it controls her brainwaves louder than ever, causing her to rip it off.

And it stays off until grimbark jade poofs it onto her head again, and the Condesce takes over.

ARQUIUSPRITE explains to Dirk how the tiaratop has made her a vessel for an evil AI, and even seems to enjoy that fact about her.

However, he's the one who removes it from her. I didn't capture it in my screenshots, but right as he removes it the screen flashes with DISOBEY.

But what if... What if he was still rooting for an AI Jane? What if he didn't fully de-program the tiaratop? The next time we see Jane wearing the tiaratop is in the HS snapchats. She has it as a necklace. But her crocker technology is hacked by the Felt and she's kidnapped. She remarks that "all our technology was scrubbed clean," but clearly it wasn't. Perhaps her tiaratop necklace wasn't either!

Then *evil music* the epilogues happen. In Candy, we see her follow the path to the evil CEO she is in HS2. In the beginning of Candy, we can see her character begin to change. She says she feels like "nothing I do matters." Which I believe is in reference to the fact that the epilogues are "semi-canon" and therefore don't matter, which is what drove Dirk to become Ult Dirk in an attempt to make things matter again.

But he becomes Ult Dirk in Meat. As we know, he's deceased in Candy, because "nothing matters" there. And immediately after the "nothing matters we're in Candy" revelation, this exchange happens:

Notice how right after this revelation, she starts hitting on Jake again, and suddenly wants a bunch of babies? Jake even remarks that she's never wanted this before. In fact, the only time she wanted this was when she was UNDER THE MIND CONTROL OF THE TIARATOP...

WHICH SHE IS CLEARLY WEARING ALL THROUGHOUT HS2!!!! She put that shit back on in the snapchats and never took it off and it turned her evil!! The tiaratop is imbued with the essence of the Condesce the same way lil cal is imbued with the essence of lord english which is a HUGE part of what caused the version of Dirk that was Dave's Bro to become evil.

That's why she seems ooc... because she IS! It's the ghost of the Condesce, still controlling her! Which makes me wonder, once she takes it off, will the Jane we know and love return? Or is she too far gone?

Anyways, that's my theory and defense of Jane. I would love love love to hear other's thoughts on this :D even if you disagree with my theory, I still want to know, because I love reading analysis ^u^

Ones he’s finally given you enough room to lay down he will wrap around you like a slap on wrist band. He’s so fast with it, it’s almost like hes scare you’ll disappear if he doesn’t wrap around your body ASAP

Other than the little fights he puts up he is such a soft cuddler and loves to be held while his arms are around your shoulders

Or when your doing whatever at your desk he will sit in your lap facing you while his legs are slinged through the chair arms and his arms are around your waist.

Mostly does that when he is sleepy or just wants company, barely says a word to maybe a thank you or a I love you randomly but other then that he is quiet which means he’s calm and feels safe.

i feel like he’s a practical guy and he likes art but not enough to pursue it as a livelihood yannowhatimean

Streamer!Honey Headcanons Pt.2

First Part Next Part

This one is a bit less headcanons and more of just a little compilation of times Guy has interrupted their streaming, and Chat being Honey's chaotic posse

Guy tries his best. He really does.

But when it's his day off, and Honey is streaming, he gets needy. This boy needs attention and love, and Honey leaving him all alone to play games with strangers is just too cruel. How could they just abandon him like this?

Y'know how sometimes when you're bored you'll randomly go to the fridge to look for something to eat even though you're not hungry? That's Guy. But with the door that leads to the room Honey is streaming in.

He'll be scrolling through social media and then boom suddenly he's standing outside the door.

It's like when you shut your pet out of the bathroom when they try to follow you in.

So without further ado, here are the times Guy has interrupted Honey, and made their chat go wild.

It started small. Guy would stay in the living room, and just blow up their phone with texts, begging for them to come out and just give him one little kiss to hold him over.

Of course they eventually told him to knock it off before they put their phone on silent

Then he was sitting outside the door and sliding notes under. Bonus if the camera is set up in a way that can sort of see the bottom of the door, so Chat is the first to notice and point it out to Honey.

They look over at the chat to see it blowing up like:

"Goddamnit, Guy-!" They shout, but there's clearly no venom in their words. A laugh had slipped out before they could stop it, and they crouched by the door.

The notes were all cute little things like,

So let's say from the angle the camera is set up, the stream can see about half of Honey as they're crouched by the door. They reach up to the handle and crack open the door.

Chat can't see Guy, Honey is blocking him from view.

They can't be heard speaking, but when Guy laughs, everyone in chat fucking melts because baby boy has the sweetest fucking laugh in the world holy shit

Arms can be seen wrapping around Honey, though their arms stay by their side, and it last for about 3 seconds before Honey places their hand flat on Guy's face and shoves him away (affectionately) while also calling him a dumbass.

They shut the door and return to their stream, not very happy that Chat saw that.

Anyway, they beat Guy's ass later that night but in the good if ykwim ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)

Honey's little fan base is having a lot of fun theorizing their relationship with their faceless (yet adorable) roommate.

Chat loves bringing him up to get Honey talking about him. The way their eyes go soft are one of the top reasons most of their fans think they're dating (which they're not wrong, but Honey has yet to confirm nor deny)

Sometimes Honey will even bring Guy up on their own, but it's always the most random ass shit.

They were doing a chill stream, one where they just kinda played a slow game (like animal crossing or Stardew valley) and wouldn't really talk much, with lofi music in the background.

Not as many people watch those streams, but it's okay. Honey likes to play relaxing games from time to time, and they only really can if they're streaming it.

Off the cuff they just go, "Guy told me he wanted to start an Only Fans."

They started laughing after they realized they said it, even more when chat went from being really slow with only a few donos here and there to BLOWING UP

Honey explained that Guy was, in fact, not actually going to start an Only Fans.

They had told him that he was gaining popularity among their fan base and Guy had made the comment as a joke.

However the stream got more rowdy as more people joined only to find the current topic of conversation being whether or not Honey's faceless roommate should start an Only Fans.

Most people were like "yes, please" but Honey was (suspiciously) quick to tell them that it wasn't going to happen.

It only took about 20 minutes for the stream to go back to how it was, calm and slow.

Until Honey, once again, made a random ass comment along the lines of, "what if me and Guy started an only fans together?"

And then it was round two.

Honey loves fucking with their chat.

Guy started getting bolder as Honey living with him became the new normal. He was always finding new ways to invade their stream while keeping his face hidden.

He started watching their streams and eventually decided he wanted to see them blush

If we circle back to our lovely theorists within Honey's fan base, we will see that they have been having a field day.

People are 98% sure that there is/was something romantic going on between these two. It's very obvious to see how flirty Guy is, and Honey has their moments.

Most think Guy has an unrequited crush on Honey, while some think it's reciprocated but not acted upon.

Very few think they're actually dating simply because of the way Honey acts. It seems like they're not interested in anything romantic.

Another small few think they're just good friends, and they're the kind of people that get all pressed about "why can't two people with a good relationship just be friends anymore," and blah blah blah.

One time Honey was having fun messing with their chat, just kind of sitting back and watching as they discussed amongst each other who Guy was to Honey.

Or maybe… napping under the shade of the trees while he splashes about, annoyed that she’s wasting their time together by sleeping. one thing, though, that like, the fic didn’t have room for was what exactly Bakugou was getting up to, after Reader treks back through the scrub to Grandma’s house. Because Bakugou is first and foremost a warrior, right? like the whole reason they end up meeting is because he’s like, curled away licking at his wounds and fish-cursing lmao. and i’ve always thought that if he had people out there, in the ocean, that they wouldn’t…. stay in one place. humans are everywhere! we have eyes everywhere!! even in like, the waters around their island—it’s not really theirs. and especially not with whatever is polluting it, during the fic. so i think if there were others like Bakugou out there, they’d eventually inch further and further away, hide away on some abandoned stretch of shore along a island too tiny and too important for humans to have cameras or eyes on it. Leaving Bakugou—essentially the vanguard, out on a mission!!! so what i think Reader doesn’t realise, when she’s kicking off her sandals at Grandma’s door and brushing the sand off and getting dinner ready while the TV blares out behind her is that—Bakugou doesn’t just go back to some nice charming little seacave filled with like, seaglass that reflects watercolour lights on the walls. He doesn’t get to go to sleep on a bed of seaweed when Reader’s curling into her pillow, with the window open behind her. He’s out there in the dark, keeping watch for something in the water that shouldn’t be there. Maybe there’s a handful of others with him, all of them spread out. But the point is that he is very much embroiled in something beyond us, and that those like… golden, in-between hours we have with him are stolen, on both our parts. 🌅🌾

tbh, i haven’t given much thought to a reversal situation. 🧐 have you read @/smashboxgirl26’s hidden in the sand? i was thinking about it, after you sent your ask, and did the following doodle for it but like—i think she pulls off quite well the problem that i struggle with, in regards to making Reader the mermaid? like in Smashie’s fic, Bakugou’s returned to an island where he used to holiday as a kid—but it’s different now. He’s a pro hero for starters, and the summer-hours friend he had (you) is missing—gone. writing it from Bakugou’s POV is such a clever way of getting around the question of like, how do you have a mermaid reader-insert where you don’t have to like, write convincingly about them living in the ocean. because!!! idk about the rest of u but it seems like living in the ocean 24/7 would be very scary. and dark. dark!!! anyways my point is i admire how smashie does it. 😌 so highly recommend.

bare with me, i had a long day working and studying and all my two braincells left can do is singing "addict to you- addict-" and thinking about that very specific frame of yoojung from the dOpamine mv (more on this later).

went straight into my sci-fi dystopian cyberpunk playlist. the sound is sooo cool to me!! it's giving ateez ngl (affectionate). love the fact that it's not too rough on the ears and has that airy (?) ending. i've replayed it an embarrassing amount of times already... watch it being one of my most played songs this month 💀

since the preview i suspected i was going to enjoy this title track a lot and more than seOul drift, and i was right! i really like the contrast between the industrial sounds and percussions of the verses reminiscing of chrOme hearts and the guitar in the pre-chorus and bridge (that made me levitate btw). the build-up is nice 😌👌 it's on the ooo chillier side aka perfect for me yay

the sound is giving alternative rnb (too tired to know for sure), so i was sold already 😋 she's the brighter sister of "mirage", the toxic one of "suit dance", and the chiller one of "gaslighting". she sits at the same table of "time machine", "desert" and "heartbreak terminal", and i love this for me because i love all these songs 😎

My Review/Analysis of Stray Kids' new album

💫ROCK STAR💫

Part (2/6)

Track 2: LALALALA

Okay, first of all.

When I first found Stray Kids' music (late November 2022), one of my very first thoughts were "Wow I would like to see them make a phonk song".

THIS. THIS SONG. IT HAS SATISFIED THAT VERY THOUGHT THAT I HAD AS A BABY STAY.

What is phonk?

By dictionary definition, it is an underground style of hip-hop/trap music directly inspired by 90s Memphis Rap, mostly present on SoundCloud as trill style beats with old funk and nostalgic samples, often accompanied by vocals from old Memphis Rap tapes.

(A phonk song I would recommend is Wither by Japanese artist takayan. Some of the beats in this track actually sounds similar to it)

Moving on!!

The opening high-pitched but bouncy beat is an amazing intro choice. Like it creates a buildup to the members' vocals and rap, but it also makes you curious as to what's gonna follow it. Combined with electronic beats and effects gradually joining it, it makes a GREAT INTRO.

OMG CHANGBIN OPENING LINES??? EVERYONE WAKE TF UP 🗣🗣🗣His scratchy rap tone is sensational for opening lines!! 👏 it DEFINITELY kept me wanting more!! Followed by felix and hyunjin's (?) rap lines carrying it on!

And do I hear leeknow rapping?? 🧐🧐 I LOVE how his voice sounds when rapping, especially since he usually sings!

Followed by seungmin and jeongin's verse bringing the song to the beat drop before the chorus. Omg. Vocalracha ATE THAT UP.

Now, I know some people think that using auto-tune on lines in a song (besides the purpose of fine-tuning the singers' tone) is a "questionable" approach. But lightly auto-tuning Han's "LALALALA, LA-LALALALA"? JAW-DROPPED. His high voice actually fits quite well with light auto-tune!! Combined with the song's base background phonk beats, it sounds 🔥

LEE KNOW AND CHANGBIN'S COMBINED CHORUS ‼️ I don't think I've heard them have lines together before, so this combo was surprising but nonetheless a great choice in lime distribution!!

Wrapping the chorus up with Felix's "LALALALA, LA-LALALALA" was like OMG. It contrasted well with Han's same line at the start of the chorus and 'closed' off the whole chorus really well.

Moving on, we have one of Hyunjin's ICONIC 'low-key' raps. In my opinion, it gave me a "break" after the heavy chorus, while still keeping it interesting. Love it. 10/10. Easily one of my favourite parts.

The part after hyunjin's rap where the members (it sounds like more than one member to me, I'm not sure) go "we go ROCK, ROCK" and "STOP, STOP" with the beats on "ROCK, ROCK" and "STOP,STOP" with pauses in between to emphasise them??? IN LOVE RN. It also builds up really well to Changbin and Han's fast-paced, combined rap!!

Followed by Bangchan and Jeongin's pre-chorus verse!! The blend of their singing tones is just *chef's kiss*

Then SURPRISE!! The chorus doesn't come after that!! Instead, Felix and hyunjin's low voices drastically change the vibe to that of a hero and a villain having a final showdown on a dust-ridden, corpse-strewn battlefield. Combined with the wind orchestra in the background? Literally. What. The. Fuck. AMAZING BUILDUP. JAW-DROPPING. I LOVE IT WHENEVER THEY USE WIND OCHESTRA IN THEIR SONGS (another eg of this: chorus for TOP)

THEN Han's voice literally BREAKING the 'silence' followed by Felix's low "Lalalala, la-lalalala"?? Sensational. Then Hyunjin REPEATING Felix's line using his AGRRESSIVE TONE?? EVEN. BETTER. TOTAL EAR ORGASM DJZBXJSJBXJDJDJD (can u tell this segment is my favourite part of the song 😭)

Ahem ahem anyways...

Han and Felix combined chorus!!! I love how they were the ones to do the chorus the second time round. Especially Han's! The way it literally blends and contrasts at the same time with hyunjin's aggressive "lalalala" adlibs is SO SATISFYING.

Followed by Seungmin and Chan's higher-pitched English lines for the outro chorus!! Underrated vocal duo OMFGGG.

Finally, Leeknow's amazing vocals (HIS ENGLISH IMPROVED SM BTW IM SO PROUD OF HIM) closing off the whole song before the background phonk eventually fades out.

The phonk beats combined with a striking metal guitar chord playing one last time before the song ends is so 🔥🔥🔥 LIKE- 😭 where are my words. Taken away. Like my breath after listening to this track.

Overall, I LOVE LALALALA. It might be one of my fave title tracks from SKZ rn. I manifested hard enough for SKZ to do a phonk song, and it happened!!! Legit so happy, you've no idea how big of a smile I had when I recognised the phonk beats in the very beginning on my first listen of this track. 😭😭 I really hope SKZ continues experimenting with all these split genres!

Honorable mention: LALALALA rock version. I'm in love. Pls.
