Dead Dove Do Not Eat
Toji
You wouldn’t get far with Toji as your yandere. The fact that he’s a bounty hunter with an incredible physique means you’re in for trouble. He’ll even turn your ‘escape’ into a little game for his own sadistic amusement. It makes you feel like prey getting chased by a predator. Once he gets tired of chasing you though, he’ll result to his other violent methods..
A sharp pain fills your thigh making you scream a cry out in pain. A sadistic laugh answers your scream. “Naughty bunny. Tryin’ to run away?” You fall onto the ground, sweat beading around your forehead as your dewy eyes were wide open in fear. The wound hurts so much, your ears hurt so much. You slowly turn ur head around, seeing the gun in Toji’s hand. He fucking shot you. “T-Toji…” You could barely even get the name out, your mind full on adrenaline. He smirks his damn eyes narrowing as he does so. He opens his mouth to say something but you can’t hear it, your ears are still ringing, blood rushing passed them. You pant, your hands clawing at the dirty ground as you try crawling away. You feel drunk almost, the way your head sways back and forth while crawling on the floor. You were so close to freedom, free from this awful man. So close… reaching your hand out you could practically feel the relief of the sunshine on your face once more. If only the world was that kind to you. Toji grabs you by your arm lifting you up with barely any effort, your leg screaming in pain as he does so. “You’re so cute when you want to play, too bad I’m not in the mood.. Maybe another time, yeah?” You couldn’t even register his words, throwing up remnants of breakfast all over the floor. You’ve never felt a bullet go through you and god is it painful. Toji watches as you vomit, picking you up by ur waist when you finish and throwing you over his shoulder. You grip on his black shirt your nails scraping his muscular back. You look at what was supposed to lead you to your freedom. That freedom you were so close to gets farther and farther away until it’s only a dim light of hope.
Gojo
Gojo does not care whatsoever if you escape him. He’s so full of himself that he thinks he can just go grab and play with you whenever he likes, and he thinks you enjoy it. It could be a few days, you could have tried to warn the cops, maybe gotten a flight to get the hell out of the country. Whatever you do Gojo is going to effortlessly pick you up, bring you back *home* and then fuck your brains out. Gojo finds it a bit humorous you think you can hide from the strongest but he also finds it kind of annoying when he has to go get you. He might even try tying you up to his bed if you continue to act like such a brat, that’s what he threatens anyways. But he loves his little sex doll so much we both know he won’t do that.
“Oh shit your so fucking tight, I love this pussy of yours.” Gojo starts mumbling praises after praises as he pounds into your poor cunt not even giving you a second to take a breather. His relentless pace doesn’t stop it feels like you’re going numb from how long he’s been going at it. Gojo was being extremely rough with you tonight since you escaped 2 days ago, gripping onto you roughly, spanking you, making sure you didn’t cum. His actions made you dizzy and nauseous, gripping onto his back as you leave red scratch marks. “Satoru, please slow down..” He only answers with mumbles and laughs continuing his pace. All that plea does change is his grip on your body becoming tighter, your waist hurting from the grip. “How do you expect me to slow down when you feel so damn good?” He dryly laughs, lowering his head to suck on your sweaty neck. Your moans feel so unreal as he continues his pace. You hate how you’re starting to get use to the shape of his cock inside you, and how wide he’s stretching you. “I’m so close doll..” He grunts grabbing onto your plush thighs to pull himself deeper inside of you. “Aren’t you so happy the strongest is making you feel this good? Come on sweetheart say it.” His obsessive stare with those blue eyes of his was enough to get you to answer him. “S..so good Satoru..” You mumble not even noticing the tears that have already gone down your cheeks. He laughs cumming into you once again that night. You feel so full.. so full of regret and embarrassment. There’s no way you could ever escape Satoru Gojo.
Geto
Geto is a very.. condescending man. He’s manipulative with his choice of wording always trying to persuade you into just giving up. You can’t tell if it’s because he enjoys playing mind games with you or if he likes seeing you fall for his tricks, or both.. Whatever the reason is you hate it. The mock in his tone when he finally catches you after your escape makes it even worse
“Sweeetheart come out please..” Geto’s sickeningly sweet voice calls out in the empty halls. You were so mad you couldn’t get far from him, but your anger was quickly taken over by the fear of being caught by him. Geto saw you trying to escape, you know he’ll punish you if he catches you now. Geto sighs, his footsteps echoing against the floor. “Princess please.. I know you’re in here.” Your throat feels dry as you hear his voice getting closer. You hate how condescending he sounds, like he hasn’t put you through hell and practically forced you to join his stupid cult. You bring your knees closer to your chest hoping he just leaves and goes somewhere else. Unfortunately that wasn’t the case. “Don’t let me drag you out darling.. You know I don’t wish to hurt you.” Lies. He enjoys when misery is plastered on your face because of him. Your eyes blew wide open when a hand lands on your shirt’s collar lifting you up from the ground. You let out a scream trying to scratch him off of you, your legs kicking as he lifts you up like a pet. “There you are, darling.” He gives you a soft smile pulling you into a tight hug. You squirm in his hug trying to get out of his grasp. He sighs placing his hand on the top of your head in what was supposed to be a ‘comforting’ manner, but it only made you feel more like a pet. “Why do you have to be so difficult sweetie..?” His question and touch make you cringe. “I hate you that’s why.” He responds with an amused laugh, patting your back. “Let’s go get ready for bed now, shall we?”

Stella loved how peaceful early mornings were at her brother's lake house, especially when she had the house to herself. Luke was staying with some friends for the weekend, Jack was out doing God knows what, and Quinn decided to wake up early and go to a rink close by to do some laps. After making sure Stella was okay with being home alone, she was having a rough week, her energy was low, and she was basically napping and relaxing all week.
Stella was curled up on the couch watching Gilmore girls and eating, well more like picking at some cherries when Quinn kissed her forehead and said he would be back soon. Shouting out a ‘i love you’ before he left. Stella mumbled back an i love you as her tired eyes were focused on the big tv, watching as dean and Rory argue for what felt like the 10th time this episode.
She was currently rewatching the show with Luke, so she was stuck rewatching the earlier episodes since Luke was adamant of them watching it together. Stella yawned and brought the blanket she was cuddled up in up to her shoulders, she honestly wasn't sure whose blanket it was, it was already on the couch.
Stella watched 3 more episodes of Gilmore girls before she started to get stir crazy and hot under the blanket. She pushed the blanket off her legs and sat up from laying down, she searched for the remote and paused the tv in the middle of the theme song. She blinked a few times and let out a heavy breath, starting to feel a little nauseous. Maybe it was the smell of cherries? She thought as she looked down at the bowl filled with cherries on the coffee table.
Stella always got really nauseous whenever she was on her period, like now. She grabbed the bowl and got up from the couch, too quickly as she saw white spots in her vision. Stella ignored the nausea and the dizzy feeling she was used to and slowly walked out of the living room and into the kitchen to put the cherries in the fridge.
She held onto the corner of the island counter after she put away the cherries, the dizzy feeling was much worse and the pounding in the back of her head became unbearable. Stella winced at the pounding in her head, closing her eyes and hoping that it would help. She felt that familiar fear of passing out, she slowly walked back into the living room, her legs and hands trembling.
She grabbed onto the edge of the couch as she tried to lean against it, but she felt her knees become weak and her grip on the couch slip, her eyes roll back as she collapses on the living room floor with a thump. The last thing on her mind was that she was alone.
Tumblr media
Quinn hums along to the song playing on the radio channel Stella had put on the last time she was in the car with him, he wasn't sure what the song was, but he had heard Stella listen to it many times. His car would almost always turn into Stella's whenever they were together, her things in the backseat, her ChapStick or lip glosses in the cup holders. He wasn't complaining though, he missed it when he was away.
He drove into the driveway and shut off his car, sliding his keys into his pocket and grabbing the cherry ChapStick in the cupholder that he remembered Stella complained to Cole about her losing it. He slid it into his pocket before getting out of the car and going to the trunk to grab his hockey bag. He gets his keys out his pocket and locks the car as he walks up to the front door and unlocks the door, a sigh of relief leaving his lips now that he's home.
Quinn closes the door behind him and drops his hockey bag near the front door, tossing his keys on the island counter in the kitchen. He was confused when he didn't hear the sound of the tv, but then again maybe she went up to her room. “Stella, I'm home!” Quinn shouts out and he gets no answer, he knows she could be sleeping but he got a weird feeling in his chest that something was wrong.
Quinn set the water bottle he pulled out of the fridge on the counter and made his way out of the kitchen and into the living room. Quinn's eyes drop to the floor of the living room and his eyes widen in fear and worry when he sees his sister's heart patterned socks peeking out from in front of the couch. Quinn quickly made his way around the crouch, and he dropped to his knees at Stella's side when he saw her unconscious on the ground.
“Stella? Estella, can you hear me?” Quinn frantically spoke loudly, his tone filled with worry as he quickly but gently rolled Stella to lay on her back, one of his hands on the back of his littles sister's head as he tilted it back to clear her airways. His heart was almost beating out of his chest as he tried to remember all the steps of helping someone who's unconscious.
He turned his body to reach and grab a pillow off the couch to put under Stella's legs but quickly turns back to his little sister when he hears the weak groan leaving her pale pink lips. Quinn brought his hands to cup stella’s face, gently forcing her to open her eyes as he rubbed his thumbs on her cheeks “Hey, hey stella can you hear me ⸺ c’mon open your eyes.”
“Oww” Stella sleepily whined out as she gained full consciousness. She was confused, she had no idea what was going on or what happened. All she knew was that her head was killing her, and her ass was numb. Stella slowly fluttered her eyes open, a wince leaving her lips at the bright light of the living room. Stella blinked a few times trying to get used to the light, Stella's hand gripped onto the fur of the rug, and she tried to flatten her palm to lift herself up from the uncomfortable floor.
“Not so fast, it's okay just lay back down” Quinn spoke softly as he grabbed a pillow from the couch and slipped it under her head so she could rest it comfortably. Quinn kept his eyes on his little sister, they were still filled with worry. Stella groans and rests her head on the pillow looking up at her brother as she whispers, “What happened?”
“Looks like you passed out ⸺ when were you gonna tell me you could do that hmm?” Quinn jokes with a weak smile, knowing that Stella would panic the more she thought of it. Stella sniffles and tries to smile at her brother's attempt to make her feel better, she was starting to remember what had happened. She replied quietly “Thought I’d surprise ya”
“Consider me surprised” Quinn sighed, he gently moved some of Stella's hair out of her face before he stood up. “Don't move okay, I'm going to get your iron pills and something for you to drink.”
Stella weakly nodded and watched as her big brother rushed into the kitchen. Stella waited for a few moments before she tried again to sit up, this time she was much more successful. Stella groaned quietly as she slowly stood up and sat on the couch, pulling the blanket over her lap and closing her eyes. In through your nose, out through your mouth. Stella chanted in her head as she did her breathing exercise, hoping that it would help with the pounding in her head.
“I told you not to move ⸺ they say you have to lay down for 10 minutes” Quinn groaned as he walked into the living room to see stella snuggled up on the couch, of course she didn't listen to him. ‘They’ being the internet. Quinn had scoured the internet for as much information he could get about Stella's anemia and what to do if she passed out when she was diagnosed.
“They also say you shouldn't put a pillow under someone's head after they pass out” Stella says matter-of-factly as she looks up at her brother who was holding out a cold glass of orange juice, the other hand holding two iron pills.
“What? ⸺ and you're just telling me this now?” Quinn gaped as Stella took the glass and pills into her hands. Stella rolled her eyes and swallowed the two pills with a big mouthful of orange juice. She looks up at her brother who was giving her an unimpressed look, he took her health and safety very seriously. Stella gave him an innocent smile and just simply shrugged “It was a really comfy pillow.”
“Where are you going?” Stella questioned him as he shook his head in disbelief and turned around to walk out of the living room, his hands on his hips as he dramatically walked out. All of her brothers were so damn dramatic . . . but so was she. She hears Quinn shout his answer from the kitchen and the sound of him unzipping his bag for his phone “Going to call mom and tell her you haven't been taking your pills.”
“They also say you shouldn't put me through any stress or yell at me” Stella shouted back with a playful smile, she took another sip from the glass while she picked up the remote and started looking for something new to watch. Already feeling much better.
“Now you're just making shit up!” Quinn shouted back with a roll of his eyes, knowing that his little sister was just teasing him. Quinn paused his movement of searching up their moms contact when he heard the faint sound of her laughter, a smile coming across his lips when he heard her sassily shout a reply.
“It's completely true and reasonable!”

Hello I have a request that's been on my mind for a while. What if Blade had a child that's currently a preteen and they've never met him and when Blade discovered his child was on the Loufu living under the care of adoptive parents after their birth mother passed away, he decided to test their skill in battle and he was not disappointed but he was surprised by his child's fighting style and the fact that they collapsed as soon as the fight was over because this was the first time they were in a fight like that along with them having a somewhat weak constitution. (If you're not comfortable with writing this that's completely understandable and I wish you a good day or night)
I want to sob I wrote like 1k and it was GONE. My dumb ass didn't save it I swear I'm sobbing vigorously
BUT THANK YOU SO MUCHHH I TRIED REALLY HARD AND IT IS AN X READER. You're the first to ever request so you're like my favourite person right now ilysm PFHSJDB
SORRY IT'S SO LATE
Even with all your mentoring sessions and fighting competitions aboard the Luofu, nothing could have ever prepared you for your fight with him.
A tall, muscular man with a dead stare and an unimpressed, almost annoyed facial expression.
As your sword clashed against his, you couldn't help but wonder how you even got in this situation. Weren't you on the way home from shopping for your mother? Well whatever reason you were out for was immediately forgotten as a cluster of swings were thrown in your direction.
You ducked and blocked as many blows as you could, though you felt cold metal pierce your upper arm and you swallowed down a screech of pain.
You felt your shirt get heavier as blood was dripping down your arm slowly. Is this how you'd die? In the hands of a criminal?
The man stood still. Raising his sword and dragging his fingers across it, creating an almost beautiful ombre of yellow and orange across the bloodstained weapon. A sinister sunset.
As he brought it back to his body, the entire atmosphere around him changed. Blood was pounding in your ears, you swear you could have seen his mouth moving? Is he talking to you?
"Savour it for me."
The man jumped in the air, blocking the moonlight and his sword glistened red, everything was red. Why is everything red?
No. This is not the day you die. You needed to get back to your parents. You had to. Using your own sword you steadied yourself and felt the wind raising your sword for you. You felt lightweight and controlled your breathing, doing exactly what your mentor had advised you before battle.
"Raise your sword and let the wind guide you! "
Opening your eyes, you saw the fastly descending man gawk at you. His expression bewildered and his sword shaking slightly.
Before he could slice you open, you felt yourself swing a massive wave of energy towards the man, erasing his attack and sending him backwards. He landed on his feet and you could see blood dripping from his face.
The only bad part about using this skill however, something that your mentor warned you about was that it would be nearly impossible to keep awake after using it if your body is not prepared. You felt your eyes closing, trying to stabilise yourself by piercing the ground underneath you with your sword, you felt yourself crumble and fall into the bittersweet unconsciousness of your mind.
The last thing you saw were black shoes.
You woke up startled, everything was spinning and you felt nauseous. Staring around at your surroundings, you could remember you're in your Mentors house. So many questions and so many noises that made your head hurt.
As you slowly started getting up, your Mentor came in. Extremely annoyed.
"You're finally awake, Child." he sighed.
"Sir! What happened? My head is pounding." you blew out the candle next to your bed and shielded your eyes from the piercing light.
"Ahem." a new voice. You immediately jostled up and almost threw up from the dizziness.
It was the man. His long hair framing his face and his arms bandaged, his piercing eyes caught your own and you nearly shat yourself. What is he doing here?
"Sir! What's he doing here? It's illegal to harbour a fugitive, you of all people should know that..." you felt yourself become weak and sickly again. You couldn't concentrate on your sentences properly.
"Do not question me and my reasons, Child. I should have you clean the walls again for your silly accusation!" that shut you up, alongside the painful migraine that seemingly wouldn't go away.
"My apologies, sir..." you blinked up at the strange man again. You knew his name from the wanted posters across the Luofu- Blade. It suited him.
"This 'Fugitive' saved your life. You should be grateful, Y/N L/N." your mentor proclaimed. Yeah real grateful after he nearly killed you and kicked your ass.
You nodded, not wanting to upset your Mentor and clean the walls again.
The man stood still and was tense. Come to think of it, when your Mentor said your name, his eyes widened and his breathing changed. Something's up.
"Sorry Sir, but do I know you?" you asked Blade, not wanting to upset him by using his name.
"..."
"..."
"No." he turned around and walked away.
You and your Mentor shared a glance of confusion.
As you made your way home, you couldn't shake the feeling that the entire interaction was so odd. Especially after the stories you've heard about Blade. Cutthroat, cruel, dangerous. Despite these factors he saved you, well after trying to murder you first.
You just couldn't shake the feeling that you'd meet again and very soon. And surprisingly, you weren't opposed to that idea.
As you made your way inside, a man appeared from behind a wall with a hurt expression on his face. How could he have not known? He knew that the love of his life died and she would be no more. That made him an emotionless and cruel monster, but how could he have not known about you? You were his child for fucks sake. He sees you from your window, happy and talking to your parents. That could have been him. But a part of him is glad that you didn't grow up with him, he knows the life you would have had wouldn't have been as prosperous and kind as this. He would have cheated you out of a childhood.
He'll keep an eye on you though. Of course he will, you're the last memory of your mother.
"Y/N, huh? " and with that thought, he made his way into the shadows, your laughs echoing into the endless night behind him.

Hey slayer. I've been violently ill lately and thought it be best to turn my misery into your profit, so here's a request for you. May I request the asl trio with an s/o that one night got really really sick?? Like I'm talking throwing up in the toilet, body shaking, feeling like you're going yo die type of thing. Thanks, have a great day and I hope you drink water 👋
a/n - nooo! I’m sorry about that anon :( I hope you feel better soon :) sorry in advance but I somehow make things cracky when they’re supposed to be serious 💀
warnings ⚠️ - g/n reader, vomit, comfort
Tumblr media Tumblr media
- this guy hasn’t gotten sick once in his entire life, so he doesn’t know what the fuck to do when someone gets sick- (have you seen the way he tried to handle when nami got sick 😭)
- today, you already felt nauseous, sick to your stomach. The thought of eating made you want to throw yourself overboard-
- the rocking waves that shook the boat back and forth only contributed more- you weren’t even sure if this was your sickness, or sea sickness at this point
- maybe both?
- the toilet was your new bestie, the amount of times you threw up in there were countless
- chopper did his best with what meds he had- but nothing really eased the sickness. Your head just kept banging, dizzy from how many times you’ve thrown up
- your captain wasn’t sure what to do- he just kept frantically calling chopper over to see if you were ok.. He knew that maybe his funny antics weren’t going to help you right now
- “Sorry y/n… But I think this is just going to pass tomorrow, hang in there.” -chopper
- You were glad it wasn’t anything serious, but this was horrible
- Don’t you worry, Luffy stayed with you the entire night. He stole a bucket from Sanji for you to throw up in, and tried to tell you funny stories to lighten up your mood
- “Okok- ummmmm. Ok so there was this one time where grandpa kicked me down into a hole at night and-“ (Luffy was abused /with love)
- whenever you tried to sleep, he’d pat your head softly to lull you to sleep, and he tried his VERY hardest not to make any noise
- he ends up making noise but- it’s alright, you still love him (I hope)
- “Y/n! Don’t think about green! Like- don’t think about bushes and stuff! Think about uh… Meat! Wait- no. Uhm….“
- You were getting even more sick at the mention of the color green.. And meat? Luffy no.
- “NO I’M SORRY! DON’T THINK ABOUT MEAT! THINK ABOUT UH- THE SKY? THE GOING MERRY! SUNNY?”
- with him naming random stuff extremely loudly, it was able to distract you from all those gross thoughts, good save Luffy
- you made it through the night (traumatized) but alive. You were glad Luffy was there to stay with you, even though he’s not the best doctor in town lmao
- he loves you, and he’d do anything to make you feel alright :)
Tumblr media Tumblr media
- he’s very experienced with almost every sickness, and he’s read about almost every kind of medical book he has in his library
- but nothing prepared him for taking care of the person he loved, because books don’t cover that :)
- you already asked Dragon if you could rest for today, and that alone made sabo so worried. You never had to miss a mission.. This must’ve been really bad
- as soon as the ship docked, sabo sprinted, and I mean SPED towards the headquarters
- my man literally knocked poor koala over on the way 😭
- when he burst through the door like a mad man, he grimaced when he saw how bad you looked
- you were still sitting by the toilet, your face turning green in close intervals
- “Oh hey sabo- how was the m-“ *throws up*
- “Y/N?! ARE YOU OK?!”
- He’s about to faint, but he managed to drag the doctor out from his office, and haul ass back to you for him to check you out
- sabo never knew he could be so tense and anxious, he found out today that he suffered from major anxiety whenever something bad happened to you 😭
- The doctor explained that it was simply a really bad stomach flu, and it would go away by either tomorrow or the next few days
- sabo was glad it wasn’t anything serious! But still, he was worried about you, I mean… You weren’t looking great-
- He tried his best, but whenever you threw up, he felt sick as well- so he comforted you while closing his eyes and covering his ears (he’s trying)
- at one point he had to run off because he threw up too 💀 probably from both feeling horrible because you were going through this. And also, he’s scared of vomit unfortunately
- just because he’s scared doesn’t mean he’s not going to stay with you 24/7! He’s sitting with you, giving you whatever you ask and need
- he tries to talk about anything except vomit and the color green lmao- but he somehow finds a way to get back to it??
- “Yeah on the mission today- we were freeing some of our comrades and one of them- his name’s Steve. He was wearing this AWFUL green shirt and I swear-!” *throws up*
- “I’M SORRY- FORGET EVERYTHING I JUST SAID PLEASE.”
- this poor man is dying, but trying 👍
Tumblr media Tumblr media
- like Luffy, this guy has never been sick. EVER
- but he’s an expert at sensing whether or not you’re feeling ok- it’s kinda creepy
- it’s like he knows if a sneeze is coming, and he says bless you early 0-0
- this time, he didn’t catch it since he was off the ship, kicking marine ass on an island
- when he got back, you were- let’s just say.. You’ve been better.
- Whitebeard was worried, and Marco took a look at you right away. No one was as worried as Ace though, this poor guy was on fire, quite literally
- he kept accidentally setting things on fire around him from how worried he was!
- “Ace, don’t panic. Stay calm.” -Whitebeard
- “I AM CALM.”
- no he is not calm at all
- Marco told you that this would just have to pass normally, and he could only give you some anti-nausea meds
- when ace could finally go into your room, he was asking every single question known to man
- “Baby are you ok? You need water? Hugs? Food? A bucket? Meds? Blanket? Marco to turn into a fluffy bird and for you to hold him in your hand?”
- “…what?”
- let’s just say if you need something, he’s on it
- whenever you throw up, he’s like- cheering you on?
- “Great job! Get all that nasty stuff out! You got this!”
- I mean. It helped I guess 💀
- he’ll give you cuddles, hugs, anything to help you fall asleep and get through the night
- you finally fell asleep on him after a couple hours
- but this poor dude needed to pee so bad at around 3am. But the thought of waking you up, only for you to start throwing up again made him so sad..
- he didn’t want you to have to go through it again if you didn’t have to!
- so he sucked it up, and held it until you woke up at 7
- “Oh hey ace.. I feel a lot better now, thanks for staying.”
- “Oh my gosh that’s great! But give me like- 10 seconds I have to pee so fucking bad-!”
- my man SPED to the bathroom, leaving a literal trail of fire 💀💀💀
- he was in there for a while 😭

a/n - ace is so sweet 🥹

Damn It! Pt.2 (e.o)
Requested <3
LizzieG!PxFem Reader
Couple of people wanted a pt.2 so here ya go 😇

I question hoping she agrees "that is up to you my love I will respect whatever you want it's your body, you're the one who will have to go through 9 months of pregnancy" I feel my heart melt "I love you" I cover my mouth as the words slip out lizzie looking at me shocked and amused "I love you too princess" with that she kisses me after 10 seconds I pull away "just to clarify I don't want protection I want all of you and I'm willing to take the risks if we have a few kids I'm ok with that" I say leaning my head against hers as I look at her with love I really do love this woman "you are something else and I fucking love it, I love you princess " I smile as I cuddle into her as she cuddles into me.

~Sick days~
Summary: Vaggie is sick and tried to hide it from Charlie but her girlfriend is way too caring for that.
warning: vaggie does throw up in this fic, so if you aren't comfortable with that, click off.
Vaggie had woken up that day feeling restless and sore. Right off the bat, she could tell that it was going to be a shitty day. She rolled over to the side so she and Charlie could have morning cuddles but found the bed lacking a certain hellborn. Sitting up, she checked the time, wondering if she had just gotten up early or if she slept late. It was 9:30. Shit, she was late. Charlie never had the courage to wake up her sleeping beauty.
Vaggie quickly sprung out of bed but right away regretted it because she got extremely dizzy and nauseous and she developed a headache. She shook it off and started to get dressed.
When she got downstairs, she saw that Charlie and the rest of the group were already starting on activities. They were doing some sort of ice breaker activity.
“Hey Vaggie, Glad you could join us!” Charlie greeted her, “Did you have breakfast yet?”
Vaggie shook her head, “I’m not hungry,”
“Okay… but please eat something,” She held up a few pieces of fruit that she had for the whole group to enjoy. Vaggie nervously took a few and consumed them.'
During the whole activity, she felt herself get worse and worse. Halfway through, she almost fell asleep because of how tired she was. She got barely any sleep during the night because of how bad her nose was stuffed.
She was half conscious a little while later when she felt someone tap her shoulder. She looked up and saw that it was Charlie.
“You okay, Hon? It’s break time," she said. Vaggie yawned before slowly standing up.an itch in her throat caught her off guard and she fell into a coughing fit. Charlie was by her side, rubbing her back and telling her that it was okay.
“I’m fine,” She answered, clearing her throat.
“Are you sure? Maybe you should lie down,” she suggested. Vaggie tensed. If she were to find out that she was sick, Charlie would probably take the day off to take care of her. Although she would do anything for that to happen, she couldn't show weakness. it made her feel guilty to make others worry about her.
“No, really, I’m fine, I’ll get the next activity ready,” She said before trotting off to the kitchen. They would be cooking together as a bonding activity.
Charlie wanted to rebut, however, Vaggie escaped the conversation before she could say anything. She was really worried for her. She could tell that her girlfriend was hiding something.
During their break, Charlie joined Vaggie in the kitchen. She saw how she struggled to clean the area and get everything ready. She could barely lift up a box and she stopped and started panting. As if she were in pain.
“Shit, Vaggie, be careful!” Charlie went to grab the box out of her hands.
“I- I’m fine..” Vaggie said before she began to sway. Everything hurt. Lifting that box up didn't do any good and made everything worse.
She covered her mouth, before turning to the side, away from Charlie and the box, and spilled the bits of fruit. She coughed, and Charlie could tell she had tears running down her eyes
“It's okay, sweetie, you're alright,” Charlie rubbed her back as more bile started to come out of her mouth.
Vaggie was beyond embarrassed. Here was Charlie, trying to comfort her throwing up girlfriend while she was just trying to work.
“I'm *cough* sorry,” Vaggie choked out before heaving. Her headache got insanely bad and she started to feel like she was about to pass out.
“No, Vaggie, don't be sorry, you can’t control it,” Charlie continued to rub her back and then pressed a kiss to her head.
After her body seemed content and satisfied, she collapsed into Charlies arms, her vision fading to black.
When she eventually regained consciousness, she found herself in her and Charlie's shared king sized bed. It was really comfortable and she wanted to go back to sleep but Charlie immediately noticed she had woken up.
“Vaggie!” She hugged her tightly, “I didn't think you'd wake up! You were running a high fever after you passed out,”
“Is that why my skin feels really salty?” She tried cracking a joke. It felt like she had sweated an ocean but then chilled down in a freezer.
“Yeah, I need to change out your ice pack too,” Charlie reached up and grabbed Vaggies ice pack from her forehead. The sickee couldn't feel it because it had gone warm and she had a bad headache.
As Charlie replaced the ice pack, Vaggie felt really guilty. she shouldn't be making her worry this much about her. Vaggie was usually the protector, the guardian, the reliable one, not the other way around. She's not used to being treated like this. It actually felt kind of nice. But the guilt out-weighed the nice feeling.
“Char, I’m sorry I’m making you take care of me, I’m fine and i shouldn;t be taking up your time,” She confessed. Charlie looked at her with a flabbergasted expression.
“Babe, don’t you ever say sorry for me taking care of you. I get that you’re usually the one who is protective and strong, but you can be vulnerable every now and then. You can let other people take care of you, you don’t have to be the reliable one all the time,” counseled Charlie. She took Vaggies hand.
“O-okay, I’ll try…” Vaggie sniffled. She knew it’d be hard to start letting people see her vulnerable but she knew it’d help their relationship. Charlie hugged her again but pulled away when she heard Vaggie wince. Her stomach still hadn’t fully stopped hurting, even though she was completely empty.
“Sorry, sorry, is your tummy still bothering you?” vaggie nodded.
“Do you think you can stomach some soup? You need to eat something, especially since you haven’t eaten anything today,” She suggested. Vaggie shrugged but agreed that she should probably eat something. So she let Charlie heat up some soup for her.
When she returned with the piping hot soup, she insisted that she fed her. Even though it was pretty embarrassing for Vaggie, she couldn't help but feel a sense of love in it. Maybe being vulnerable around your loved ones was great.
She managed to finish the whole bowl of soup before Charlie decided she should get some more rest. However, Vaggie didn’t want to be alone. She asked if Charlie would stay with her while she slept and luckily, she did. Charlie made sure she was extra comfy in bed before cuddling up next to her. She kissed her goodnight before throwing an arm over her, spooning Vaggie. The day wasn’t the best, but if it ended with Vaggie and Charlie cuddling, than the day would be okay.

Awkward Confessions
Tumblr media
summary: The day after you confess your feelings to Mando.
word count: 505
a/n: part of my 500 words a day ABC. the letter is A for awkward!
---
You nestled deeper into the co-pilot seat, hoping you could simply disappear into the seams and never have to face your overwhelming embarrassment. Not even the sunrise could comfort you.
Idiot, you thought, burying your face into your palms. Why did you have to do that?
Your misery stemmed from last night's foolish confession, but in your defense, you thought you were going to die. The night started fine; you were sitting at the bar of a cantina, scoping out the place for Mando’s bounty and idly sipping on your drink. Neither of you expected the bartender to be working with the bounty; you only found out when you began feeling dizzy and nauseous. The mission was abandoned the second you collapsed.
When you half regained consciousness, feeling worse than ever, in Mando’s arms as he ran back to the ship, your thoughts were only fear and regret—you’d die without telling him how you felt. Even if he didn’t feel the same, your terrified brain wanted him to know before you went. Your mouth rambled ‘I love you’ without a second thought before you passed out again.
When you woke up in the morning with nothing but a stomach ache and regret, you retreated into the cockpit to watch the sunrise and forget the night before. Mando was nowhere in sight, probably off hunting the bounty again after last night's failure and to avoid you after that pathetic confession.
“What are you doing up here?”
You jolted, nearly falling out of your seat, at the sound of Mando’s tired question. He stood beneath the door with arms crossed, staring straight through you.
“Sitting,” you responded, turning your head away.
“I can see that,” he said, unamused. Approaching the pilot’s chair and taking a seat, turning his body to face you. “You should be resting.”
“'M fine,” you muttered, hoping that would be enough to convince him to leave.
He leaned back into the chair and cocked his head. “Are you sure?”
You frowned. He was always so calm and composed, but you thought he’d at least give you a response to your confession, even if it did break your heart. You took a deep breath to prepare yourself for the long agonizing talk. “Actually, can we talk about what happened last night?”
He nodded and waited for you to continue.
“I told you,” your voice faded into an almost inaudible whisper, “I loved you.”
“What?”
“If you don’t feel the same just tell me,” you snapped, eyes beginning to burn, “Don’t play dumb.”
He sat up again; his own agitation beginning to rise. “I’m not playing dumb. You didn’t say anything last night.”
It was your turn to gawk. “But I remember-”
“You were so out of it, nothing you said made any sense.”
“Oh…” you muttered. Now, you really wished that poison had killed you; at least you’d be free of the awkward silence.
“Do you really love me?”
A slight smile tugged at the corner of your lips. “That depends—do you?”

WOLLEMI DAY 7- HEAT
CW: Pet whump, Beatings mention, heat stroke, left out in the sun as a punishment, Dehydration!!, Creepy, and dominating whumper, swearing heh, Young whumpee, mental distress, fainting. A lot of it.
Caleb had never felt the heat so cruel.. It beat down upon him, scorching every inch of exposed skin. Caleb was bounded tight to a tree, heat coming in directly at him, intensifying the bruises and cuts he had just recently gotten from Dominic's hands as another punishment. The beating was still fresh in his mind. He had just managed to get on Dominic's nerves (which wasn't a new thing) when he was already in a bad mood.
Dominic had just left him outside after it as if that wasn't enough. The ropes cut into his skin, only tightening when he tried struggling. At this point he had just given up. Waiting for his captor to come and get him out of there. Maybe he would even get a cold bath if he behaved!! Caleb after realizing what he was thinking seemed disgusted by himself.
"Fuck.. That guy's getting a hold on me.." He mumbled to himself. This was all meant to be a cruel lesson in obedience. Like he was a fucking 5 year old waiting to be disciplined by his mom. He was 17 for fucks sake!!
Caleb got lost in his thoughts of killing Dominic in different ways. He tried sleeping. It didn't work. He tried screaming Dominic's name even adding a "sir" when he wouldn't hear anything back. It didn't work. He tried struggling more, as if somehow the ropes would loosen and he could run away. Guess what?? It didn't work.
It had been hours. Dehydration set in. He needed water. Badly. Dominic wasn't going to leave him here to die from Hyperthermia right?? Surely, he hadn't gotten bored of him that early.
"Sir! I-I learnt m-my lesson. Y-You can untie me now!" Caleb tried shouting, but it just came out in a raspy whisper. Dominic had long since disappeared, leaving him to suffer alone.
Hours stretched into days. Caleb kept going in and out of consciousness. Both because of his untreated injuries that burnt under the sun, and because of the lack of water and tiredness. Being tied to the tree for so long was torturous. He couldn't feel anything anymore. Was he going to die at this motherfucker's hands? Was he even alive right now? Going in and out of consciousness a lot made him question reality. What he could see was real and what was not.
Just when Caleb was about to pass out again he felt gentle hands on him. Without even thinking, he immediately leaned into the touch. He tried blinking his eyes, to see who it was but eventually gave up. He felt being picked up as he whimpered slightly narrowing his eyes. The figure just chuckled carrying him.
"You didn't really enjoy sunbathing huh? I'm surprised you're even alive after being out there for two days kitten." The figure chuckled again but all Caleb could here was the ringing in his ears, the huge headache and the way he felt nauseous and dizzy. Caleb closed his eyes almost immediately passing out again.

Since you’ve done a couple pregnant!reader stories, could you do a Steve Harrington x reader where she’s having morning sickness? Perhaps the reader has been feeling a bit dizzy but starts feeling nauseous one dinner and then gets sick for the first time late that night/early morning? And Steve is perfect, all worried but super soothing and doing his best to keep her comfy and cool.

You were half listening to Steve as you shoved another bite of pasta into your mouth. He was talking excitedly about something, but it was getting harder and harder to focus with each passing moment as your stomach churned. All you could concentrate on was not running to the bathroom and throwing up…again. It had happened a few times in the past week and you were sure that you had eaten something that didn’t agree with you and was lingering. That or you were suddenly allergic to something you ate commonly. Doubtful…but one never knows.
“Babe?” Steve gently nudged your foot from under the table and you turned your eyes to him. His eyebrow was raised and he had a concerned expression on his face, “are you alright?”
“‘course,” you insisted unconvincingly, “just feeling a little…off. Probably just something I ate earlier."
"Babe-"
"I'm okay, Stevie," you reached across the table and put your hand on top of his, giving it what you hoped was a reassuring squeeze, "I didn't mean to ignore you. Go on, you have my full attention."
His expression didn't change from skeptical, but he knew better than to just argue with you. He was only worried; he wasn’t entirely sure he could handle anything happening to you, especially if it was easily preventable.
“I…” he opened his mouth and saw the fierce look in your eyes and he knew to drop it. He swallowed the lump in his throat and before nodding softly, “I was just, umm…talking about something Eddie had told me earlier.”
“Eddie?” you snorted in amusement, “do tell me dear husband, what did Eddie do now?”
“Bold of you to assume he did something-”
“This is Eddie we’re talking about,” you reminded him with a little flourish of your fork. Steve relaxed slightly at your lighthearted mood, “he had to have done something…at least something funny.”
“So Eddie and his wife…” Steve carried on animatedly as he recounted what his friend had told him earlier. You loved seeing Steve so happy and carefree and so…himself. It almost made you forget about the nauseous feeling that was still bubbling in your stomach. Almost.
─── ・ 。゚☆: *.☽ .* :☆゚. ───
It was the early hours of the morning when that feeling hit you again. The sun was just starting to peek in through the curtains, accompanied by the soft chirping of birds. You opened one eye and looked across the bed and found that Steve was already up and getting ready for work. You groaned lightly; you were hoping to sneak in a few more cuddles in the vain hope that they might make you feel better.
But before you could ruminate too much on that, the overwhelming feeling of nausea hit you and you booked it out of bed, running down the hall and into the bathroom. Steve was already in there, taking a shower as you lifted the toilet lid and proceeded to throw up whatever little contents you had in your stomach.
“Babe?” he’d ripped back the curtain as soon as he heard you barged in, shampoo still in his hair and looking worried sick. He looked almost as exhausted as you felt. Wiping your mouth with the back of your hand, you plopped onto the floor and flushed the toilet, “what happened?”
“I dunno,” you admitted, trying to swallow away the taste in your mouth, “I just haven’t been feeling well is all. I think I’m just going through a rough patch.”
“So…this isn’t the first time this has happened?” he asked as you shook your head. You hadn’t wanted to say anything to him because you knew he would stress and worry his pretty little head over nothing. Before you could try and defend your actions, you could see the corners of his mouth twitching up as he tried to - unsuccessfully - to contain a smile.
“What? Don’t look at me like that! Don’t laugh at me,” you pouted.
“I’m just going to throw this out there so don’t panic on me, yeah?” he quickly rinsed his hair before turning off the shower and grabbing a clean towel. You were still on the floor, trying to feel out if you needed to throw up again or not but gave him a meek nod nonetheless, “I think…babe, I think you might be…pregnant.”
“What?” you almost couldn’t help the laugh that escaped your lips but when you saw that his face was serious, you sobered up. Oh. Oh. Maybe…maybe he was right, “Stevie. Do you think so?”
“I mean I’m not an expert but…yeah?” your eyes shifted from curious to worried as he pulled on his jeans before sitting down next to you, “you’ve been feeling like this…when was your last period? I don’t even remember.”
“It was…” you stopped as you tried to remember. When was the last time you’d even gone for tampons? That was a while ago…definitely not recent, “like two months…holy shit.”
You looked up to find him watching you with big, bright eyes, his face almost breaking in half with his smile. He knew he shouldn’t have gotten excited just yet, but he couldn’t help it, “I guess we’d better make sure before doing anything else. But even the possibility…it’s exciting.”
“Yeah,” you agreed, leaning in to kiss him, crashing your lips onto his softly. It wasn’t that you were or weren’t trying to get pregnant. You both wanted kids, but neither of you wanted the pressure of needing to get pregnant at a certain time or by a certain date. You’d stopped taking birth control almost half a year ago when you both decided that whatever happened happened.
He gently touched your cheek, before pressing a kiss to your forehead, “t-this is still something you’d want, right? If you don’t or don’t feel ready-”
“I do,” you reassured him, “I really, really, want to have your babies, Steve Harrington. Even the possibility makes me nervous, like I feel like we’re so unprepared, but at the same time I think we’re ready and it’s just…ah! You’re…you still want this, right?”
“Yeah,” he agreed softly, taking your face tenderly in his hands, as he just beamed at you, “of course I do. There’s no other person I would want this with. Only you, baby.”
“I love you,” you wrapped your arms around him and he pulled you into his lap as he hugged you back just as fiercely.
“I love you,” he pressed a kiss to the side of your head, “so much.”
─── ・ 。゚☆: *.☽ .* :☆゚. ───
You’d thought about calling him the moment you knew one or way another. But instead you were pacing around the house, test sticks held tightly in your hand as you tried to comprehend the news. Pregnant. Pregnant. You were actually pregnant. You were going to have a small human to take care of soon. You were going to have - no. You weren’t going to panic just yet. Everything else would come in time, but right now you just wanted to bask in the moment. There would be plenty of time to worry and stress and prepare.
You were so wrapped up in your own thoughts that you almost didn’t hear Steve coming home. But as soon as you heard him call your name, you ran to the door and almost knocked him over in your excitement. He caught you, a big, dopey grin on his face as he looked at you with an expectant expression on his handsome face.
“Stevie,” you held up the tests in your hand and waved them around, not even letting him get a proper look at the small sticks. You could barely contain the tears, the backs of your eyes almost immediately stinging at the sight of your husband, “you were right! I-I’m pregnant.”
“Wow,” he was looking at you like you’d hung all the stars and moon, “that’s…amazing. I-I don’t even know what to say. I just…I love you. So much.”
“I love you too,” you whispered as you let him pull you tightly into his body, letting you perfectly meld into him, “so much and more.”
─── ・ 。゚☆: *.☽ .* :☆゚. ───
After finding you were pregnant, things made a lot more sense. All the little things that had been happening, all the little things that were off now had an explanation. The pieces all fit together and you were really left wondering why you’d been so blind to the obvious. But even the knowledge of what was going on  - you know, growing a whole human - didn’t make your physical symptoms any better.
It was another morning of waking up and feeling almost perfectly fine until you were making waffles…that was when that damned morning sickness hit again. They really should have changed the name from morning sick to any time of day sickness. It was a fickle thing, really, and hit at the least expected times. You’d just come to learn to accept that little fact, reminding yourself that it would be worth it when you got to hold your baby for the first time.
“Stevie,” you practically threw the tea towel at him as you rushed past him. He’d been sitting at the counter drinking coffee, after having been told you didn’t need his help to cook several times. He looked up in surprise as the towel hit him in the face, “watch the food. I’m gonna puke.”
He watched you go with a frown on his face, placing the towel on the counter before quickly turning off the stove and following you. Once he walked into the bathroom, he found sitting on the floor next to the toilet, a spot that had become all too familiar. You gave him a sheepish smile, which caused him to relax ever so slightly as he grabbed a clean washcloth and ran it under warm water.
“Poor thing,” he sat down across from you, putting a finger under your chin as he turned your face up to meet his, before tenderly wiping at your mouth. You keened into his touch and he let out an amused little exhale. He hated seeing you have to go through this, but he was also the best partner you could have asked for, “better?”
“‘m okay,” you murmured, “thank you.”
“What was it this time?” he asked as you snorted in amusement. Lately all the most random things had been triggering you, causing you to need to run for the nearest bathroom or trash can at a moment’s notice. Steve tenderly reached over and brushed a few rogue, stray locks of hair off your face, “I’m hoping you’re not going to say it was me.”
“Never,” you promised softly, “although your cologne did get to me that one time…”
“I am definitely taking that personally,” he teased before leaning in and kissing your forehead, “I stopped wearing it after that!”
“A good man,” you grinned at him, “I have no clue what it was today. It just…hit. Maybe this baby decided that they don’t like waffles?”
“No way,” he shook his head playfully, “our daughter absolutely likes waffles. You were craving them nonstop a few weeks ago.”
“Daughter, huh?” you raised an eyebrow as he nodded fervently. He stood up and grabbed your toothbrush, quickly wetting it and putting toothpaste on it. He held his hand out to you and carefully, almost as if you were fragile and made of glass, pulled you to your feet, “what makes you so sure we’re having a daughter? Did you call and ask! Did you cheat?”
“No baby,” he motioned for you to open your mouth before he went to gently brush your teeth. To some it probably seemed like too much, but you couldn’t lie - you loved it. You loved having Steve dote over you, and he loved doing it just as much if not more. If you thought he had been bad before, now that you were pregnant it was tenfold, “I just have a feeling. And you know, my feelings usually turn out right.”
“iwouldntsaythat,” was what you managed to mumble out between the toothpaste and his brushing. His smile grew and he nodded as if he’d understood what you said, “itsfiftyfiftyanyway.”
“Just wait and see,” he insisted, “it’s going to be a girl…and if it’s not, we’ll just keep trying until we have a girl.”
He motioned for you to spit out the foamy, minty mess as he turned on the tap. You grabbed the mouthwash and swished it around before spitting it out as well, “I guess we’ll see. Here’s hoping that whatever baby is next is a little nicer to me than this one. Some women are all about being pregnant and blah blah blah, but this is kicking my ass. I’m sure it’ll get better soon, but sometimes, fuck it’s rough. They’re definitely taking after you so far.”
“Oh? And just how so?” you folded your arms across your chest as you leaned against the counter.
“Being a persistent pain in my ass.”
“Ouch,” he laughed as you couldn’t hold back your own giggles before wrapping him in a tight hug. He sighed dramatically, “I do so much for this family and I get treated so badly.”
“I love you,” you sang at him, taking his face in your hands and peppering his face in minty-fresh kisses, “so, so, so much. You’re the best friend I’ve ever had, and the best husband, and you’re going to be the best father. I love you so much, Stevie.”
“Okay, I forgive you,” he promised, “I love you too, lots and lots and then some. But I think right now you need to get some rest. Let me make you some tea and then you can lie down for a little bit. Or do you think you’d want to eat something and rest later? Bland foods should be okay for your stomach…but you shouldn’t rest right after eating because that can allegedly make nausea worse.”
“I’m not terribly hungry,” you promised, “some tea might be nice though.”
“I got some tea at the store the other day that should be good. Ginger tea is supposed to be good.”
“Steve,” you took his hand in yours and squeezed it gently, “how do you know all of this?”
His cheeks reddened with a pretty crimson color as he tried to play it off, “I did some reading…and asked a few of the ladies at the office that I know have had kids. They were really helpful…and really excited for us.”
“You…really?” you asked softly as he sheepishly nodded, “you’re the absolute best, I hope you know that.”
“I don’t know about -”
“I do,” you insisted softly, “because it’s the truth. You keep making me fall in love with you, a little more every day. I didn't think I could ever love someone as much as I love you, but here we are.”
“Are you sure or are there a lot of hormones going on?” if only you knew how much your words meant to him. He felt like he was about to burst with love and happiness. You laughed lightly as you dabbed at your damp eyes before letting him hold you tightly.
“Both,” you admitted, “but that doesn’t mean what I said wasn’t true. Really, Steve, you are everything to me. Me and our maybe daughter.”
“Come on,” he started to gently pull you along with him, “let’s get you situated and then you can profess your undying love some more.”
“Okay,” you readily agreed, “I will gladly do that any day, my love.”
“You’re my everything too, just so you know. Both of you.”
“Yeah?”
“Always.”

💖
When Yuji was the one you saw at your parent’s front door, you almost lost it. You were breathing fast, panicking and dizzy from worry.
Yuji, who saw how your face turned pale instantly at the sight of him, panicked at first but then, he immediately tried to calm you down when he realized that his presence made you think of something you don't even want to mention.
“Are you okay? I’m sorry I invited myself in.” He looked very sorry and even bowed in apology. You sipped the cold water he provided and closed your eyes to calm your racing heart. Thankfully, your parents went out temporarily or else, your breakdown will pass through them and poor Yuji will probably have a hard time taking care of everyone in the household.
“I’m fine. Why are you here, Yuji? Where is Nanami?” With a frown, you put the glass on the table and tried not to fidget in worry.
“Nanamin is fine. No, not totally fine. But alive and recovering.” He tried his best to explain but you noted how he looked away whenever your eyes met. Wait? What does he mean by recovering?
“Recovering?” You asked, and stood up in surprise. Your heart is racing back again in worry.
“He’s okay! I swear, he is okay! Shoko-sensei already healed him. He can’t just go to meet you yet. But he told me to tell you he is okay and cannot fulfill his promise of following you here.” He explained immediately and waved his hand to tell you to sit back down and relax, afraid that this time you will totally faint from shock.
“Healed from what?” You asked with a frown.
“I- I was told by Nanamin not to tell you. He said he will explain.” Yuji looked like someone who was caught red handed. A boy who was caught, like a deer in the headlights.
There is no point in worrying any further and pushing poor Yuji in the corner for more questions about Nanami when he was told not to mention anything from you. With a sigh of relief, from that dreadful week of waiting, especially, when you lost contact with him. You finally felt better, still worried, but better.
“Have you eaten yet? How about lunch?” You offered and laughed when Yuji’s stomach growled at the mention of food.
💚
The sterile smell of the white colored space made you nauseous. Although you were told he is well, you still do not know what he was recovering from. You have this fear on the way here that you tried so hard to swallow and hide on the back of your head.
Shoko was the first one to greet you by the door. She gave you a curt smile, but her eyes told you how tired she was. You cannot imagine the amount of sleepless nights she has to endure after that bloodbath. Even Yuji, who used to be so bubbly, was all quiet on your way here. Like an old person who is contemplating life. It breaks your heart to see him like that when he was just a child. He doesn't deserve to see and experience those things by himself. You understand clearly now how Nanami feels if he chooses to be a normal salary man, and leave these kids in the hands of those heartless elders. They will not care if they are exposed to danger and die. The same way they treated Nanami when he was young. With a nod, Shoko opened the door and you were greeted by a bed hidden by a white curtain.
“Just call me if you need anything.” Yuji, who was following you diligently up until that moment, had decided to give you space to meet Nanami alone. You nodded at him with thanks and he gave you a smile in return.
The walk towards the bed feels endless, the image you tried so hard to not think about keeps flashing in your brain. Each step is filled with a prayer that whatever injury he got is not as bad as you think it was. The more you move forward, the smell of antiseptic grows stronger, and the air tastes bitter, the smell is like an artificial soap. You stopped to take a deep breath before you took one last step and stood at the end of his bed. Mouth agape, you tried your best not to shed tears when you see how he looks. His head was covered with bandages, alongside his left face, all throughout his left arm. Some of his blood seeped out of the white cloth and stained the used to be pristine cover. The constant beeping of his life monitor is loud as it echoes to the quiet room and into your head. Your eyes continue to scan the damage he endured and left a silent gasp when you realized he is missing an arm.
Quietly, you move closer to him and plop down at the nearby metal chair beside his bed. With shaky hands, you took his remaining arm and clasped it like it was fragile. Your hand lost its strength from shock and you shook your head trying to decipher the pain Nanami must be in. You did your best not to shed tears, you truly do, but seeing the love of your life, half alive, pale and bloody is something you would never have thought you would see this sooner. You always thought that Nanami is the type of guy who will be able to leave the Jujutsu world with no injury, and healthy as a horse. You’ve guessed that you spoke sooner or maybe you were just naive.
His hand is just too cold and the fear you were trying so hard not to think about came crashing down like an avalanche. You did your best not to squeeze his hands too much as you whimpered and cried on his side. You prayed to all the gods and whatever creatures who can provide you a miracle that day. You begged them to give Nanami a chance. To bring him back to you.
You cannot remember how long you were in that position, but all you were interrupted by a hand squeezing your hand back weakly. You slowly looked up from where your head was placed on the bed, to silent your cries, and watched Nanami’s face for any sign movements. You did not know if you were just imagining that or not, however, your eyes were intensely trained on his face. Waiting for anything at that point. He did not open his eyes, but his mouth moved and you heard an inaudible sound coming from it.
Carefully, you move closer to his face and move your ears closer to his mouth. You waited for him to say whatever he had said again and when he did, your knees almost buckled from relief. You nodded in agreement and softly placed your forehead on his uninjured face. Thanking all the gods you had prayed for at that moment for granting you another chance with him.
“Yes, we will move to Malaysia once you recover. I will come with you and I will be yours forever.” And it was at that time you realized that at your lowest moment, a person who never knew faith, will only have faith to get through their toughest battle.

I Was Scared
Tonowari x Reader x Ronal
Summary: If you know me you know we have to have our obligatory eating disorder fic. If you know me you know I need to work on my crippling ED by writing about it.
Warnings - eating disorders, mental health issues, too much fluff.
You had a problem, you knew that, but you couldn’t find it in you to dig deep to fix it. You kept it pushed pretty deep down; you didn’t want others to know how bad it was. You also just didn’t want to hear it, you didn’t want other's pity or their help, you were suffering but you were doing it to yourself. You didn’t think it was that bad yet, you knew you couldn’t keep losing weight but you almost didn’t want it to stop.
Of course, you work with scientists, they were going to take notice, they knew the human body quite well. They were all very smart and for a while, you could blame it on being busy or being linked in for so long and just not noticing. But you knew, you weren’t stupid, you were purposefully avoiding it, even when you had food pushed in front of you, you didn’t want it. The thought of having to put food into your mouth and chew it and swallow it was too overwhelming. It felt so gross and so unappetizing, you didn’t want to have to eat, you didn’t want to risk gaining weight but you were scared of how much you were losing.
You noticed how skinny you’d become but food was still unappetizing, you had no appetite and still food made you nauseous. You did what you always did, you avoided it, and you evaded questions and physicals from staff members. You didn’t care, anything was better than eating, even your health declining. You just hoped it would get better, currently, you were still okay, malnourished and dehydrated but okay, you still did all your daily tasks. It was just tricking you into believing that you were okay, you knew deep down you weren’t and that you had to eat, but it’s not that simple, you were scared.
You went with Jake and his family to the Metkayina clan for refuge, it was there you met your mates. Ronal and Tonowari brought you into their relationship almost right away, they felt an instant connection. Of course, now that you were here, you had to change your schedule a little, you knew your brain function was on the decline. You napped every day now since your body was constantly tired and commonly you would have dizzy spells or get frequent headaches.
One thing that did help was you saw Ronal constantly, she enjoyed seeing you but she didn’t like that it was because you were in pain. A few times since you’ve been here, you passed out, you just suddenly delinked from your body. It worried Jake and his family a lot, Norm had told them about your condition, none of them really knew it was an eating disorder or how bad it was, but they knew you weren’t eating.
Who didn’t know was your mates, but you could tell Ronal was catching on because even in your Na’vi form, you still struggled to eat. They noticed how you’d barely eat and how you struggled to take bites of things.
This was all a mental game, it didn’t matter what body you were in, you would still suffer from this. Even your Na’vi body was skinner than the others which is saying something. You found being here was nice because your muscles had been eaten away at so you weren’t as strong as the others in the rainforest. It was hard sometimes to keep up with people swimming since you always got tired, most of the time around mid-day, you take a nap. You’d delink and let your body rest, you knew you needed it and commonly when you woke up, Ronal would be sitting next to you.
She always cared so much for you, it’s like she could see that you were struggling, and she knew you needed help. She was always there, running her hand through your hair, she was always so motherly with you. You knew she was worried, and so was Tonowari, they said as much, they knew your health was on the decline. Then one day, your body didn’t wake up, they knew that you linked in so not waking up didn’t mean too much. But they worried about your real body hours away, they wanted to know what was happening and if you were okay.
That’s when Jake got a call from Norm, you weren’t waking up either, you were alive and breathing but something was wrong. Apparently, your heart rate was very low and all your blood tests were coming back with so many red flags. They were doing more tests, but you’d be out for a while, but you were okay for now. It was now understood how bad things were, how bad you made things, how bad your fear made you.
Jake just had to go tell Tonowari and Ronal.
You had just mated with them a few days ago, how could he break it to them that you could die soon? He walked over to their mauri and they were in there, Ronal was getting some medicines ready for you.
“Jake, how is she?” Tonowari asked.
“I got a message. Apparently, she didn’t wake up this morning either. They are running tests on her now, she’s stable for now but her heart rate is low. Norm told me that her levels are all low. He said that she was not eating or drinking water. They are trying to help her.”
“We have to go see her,” Ronal spoke up.
“We can’t just leave,” Tonowari exclaimed.
“It’s our mate, she needs us. We have to go see her.”
“We can’t leave our people alone.”
“Let Jake look after them. If she doesn’t make it, we have to be there for that.”
Tonowari nodded as he held Ronal in his arms, “then we will go.”
“I will take good care of your people,” Jake said as Ronal and Tonowari packed some things and got set to leave.
They took some time to get there and when they did, they started looking around for you or someone that could take them to you. They were terrified, they just wanted to see you they wanted to ensure that you were okay. They were escorted to the lab where you were, a doctor was checking you over and they saw your pale body lying there. They opened the door and the door turned around to look at them, Norm was with Tonowari and Ronal. He told the doctor that these were your mates and to allow them to stay.
They were both so worried, they asked the doctor what was wrong with you, only for them to get a long list. They were scared, they wanted you to be okay, and they didn’t want you to be hurt. The doctor said that you were malnourished and dehydrated, that your heartbeat was irregular and you had passed out from it being so slow. They were concerned, they needed you, they wanted you back, they didn’t want to lose you.
You had been out for a few days now, your mates sat there waiting for you, they couldn’t lose you. When you did finally open your eyes slightly, they jumped up to be by your side, the smile that spread on their faces was the first thing you saw. You smiled as you saw them, you had no clue about passing out or how long it’s been since then. All you knew was that your mates were here in front of you, and then it occurred to you, that you were in the med bay and you were in your human body. Then it clued in, what happened?
The doctor came in once you were awake, he took your pulse and did a few other little checks. You felt a fear creeping up your back, the fear of what possibly could’ve put you in here. Then you were worried about how many people knew and what really happened, did you pass out or did you get brought in here while you slept? You didn’t know and you were too scared to know, you didn’t want your mates to worry and above everything else, you didn’t want to be forced into eating.
“Do you know why you’re here?” The doctor asked.
You shook your head; you knew but you’d play dumb.
“You passed out. Malnutrition and dehydration. I know you’ve been struggling with this for a while but we need to get you better, I’ve heard even your Na’vi body is getting bad as well.”
You couldn’t look at anyone, you felt the tears prick in your eyes, it felt slightly humiliating. You didn’t want to have to admit to your lovers that you did this to yourself, that you let your fear take over.
“Yawne, we want to make sure you’re okay. We don’t care about how it happened, just that you can get better,” Tonowari said as he took your tiny hand into his massive ones.
You sniffed and looked up at him, you moved a little to attempt to hug him. His large body blanketed yours as your arms tried to wrap around his body.
“I want to be better. I don’t want to be like this but it’s too much.”
“We will be here for you,” Ronal said.
“It’s not like that. I’m terrified of eating. It doesn’t get better. I’m too scared of everything that comes with it. I hate eating, I hate having to feel nauseous so badly that it’s easier to avoid it. I don’t want to die, I don’t want to lose more weight, but I can’t eat.”
“Yawne, we know. The doctor told us everything. We want to help you even if it’s just baby steps.”
“I don’t know if I can even bring myself to eat.”
“As long as you do a little more than you were, we can build. It doesn’t have to be everything right away.”
“I struggled to eat what I did. I don’t know how I could do more.”
“We can work on it. Both this body and your other one needs to feed and drink. We will work on getting you better.”
A few days later you were released from the med bay and Tonowari and Ronal went back home, you had to stay out of your avatar for a while or at least until you started major improvement. You had to be better hydrated and eat a little more on a day-to-day basis and when you did go back into your avatar you had an eating schedule put in place. You were excited to be able to get into your avatar again, you missed being with the Na’vi, and you missed your other family. You wanted to be with your mates again, you wanted to see them and be near them.
When it was your first time linking back in, you knew what it was going to feel like to be in a malnourished body. It was going to suck and you knew that, you had to be prepared and you were probably going to be made to eat.
When you woke up, you weren’t where you normally slept, you were in your mates’ mauri. You knew instantly that was where you were, you sat up slowly and that’s when you saw Ronal mixing up a paste. She immediately ran over to your side to cradle you, she looked so happy to see you up, just to see you open your eyes. She brought some food over to you as she helped you sit up; she placed it in front of you and sat next to you and held you.
“You don’t have to eat all of it or eat it quickly, but just eat some of it, please.”
You looked up at her with doe eyes and slowly looked at the food, you slowly picked it up and ate it. Alien food was too much for your head to wrap around, the textures were weird and the tastes were different too. But you didn’t want to disappoint her or Tonowari anymore, you had to do this, you had gotten better in your human form but this was different.
Ronal had a smile on her face as she watched you eat, Tonowari entered the mauri and his smile was just as wide. He was happy that you were here, happy that you were awake, happy that you were eating. Tonowari picked you up and cradled you and hugged you, he swung you around, he was happy to have his mates back again. They were happy that you were okay and that you were doing better, they were happy that you were here and safe.
“I’m sorry to have scared both of you. I didn’t mean to. I just got so out of control. I just couldn’t bring myself to eat. I was scared to tell you; I was scared of what you’d think or say. I don’t want to disappoint you two.”
“You haven’t disappointed us; we were just scared. We want you to be safe. We want to be with you till the end of times,” Tonowari said sitting down with you in his lap in front of Ronal.
“We have lived without you for the past couple of weeks and it has been hell. We miss you. We don’t want to lose you.”
“You won’t have to be without me again, I promise. I want to do better; I want to be better. I have to adhere to an eating schedule now for both my human body and this one.”
“We will be here to help you out. We will always be here for you,” Ronal said as she pulled you into her lap and placed a kiss on your lips.

Titanfall fic writing is back, babey!! Fun fact, I started writing this *checks notes* literal years ago, but only just now circled back to it now that I'm filling in the holes in the Titanfall part of my Respawn Cinematic Universe. I will be eventually circling back to the stuff that happens after The Citadel, don't worry! I just wanted to get this one out of the way (again: literal years). AO3 link will be in a reblog, but you can read the first chapter below!
crash and burn (and then return again) | a titanfall 2 fanficpart one
cw: vomiting, loss/grief, shutdown, references to alcoholism
.
Things would’ve gone a lot differently if he were a in movie. For starters, Cooper wouldn’t have passed out within five minutes of arriving on the main battleship.
That was his own fault. His body had been giving him signs it was going to quit on him the whole flight back. He was shaky, almost dizzy, nauseous, and it felt like someone had replaced his brain with piles of stuffing. Cooper had figured it was just the adrenaline. Been there, done that. He’d be fine once he had something to eat and some real sleep. He didn’t say anything because it wasn’t a big deal.
Turned out it, was a big deal.
His memories of what exactly happened were hazy. Commander Briggs was there, he knew that, and Robert Taube. He remembered there were a lot of other people, and that he thought it was all those eyes on him (even in a positive light) that were making him feel worse. He tried to be subtle about excusing himself. He wasn’t sure if he succeeded or not; he thought someone followed him, but he couldn’t remember if it was Commander Briggs or Taube or both. Maybe it was neither. But he was pretty sure he remembered someone asking if he was okay, and replying that he didn’t feel so hot.
That must’ve been when he passed out, because his next concrete memory was lying on a moving gurney and someone checking his pulse “...repeated physical contact with an unknown energy source, we have no idea…” someone was saying.
Cooper risked opening his eyes. Commander Briggs was there, Taube, too, and a nurse, and a medical droid. It wasn’t that big of an audience, but it felt like a whole stadium of people once he realized what happened. “Did I throw up on anyone?” he mumbled.
“No,” Taube replied bluntly. “You about to?”
“...uhm…”
He must’ve gone grey or green or whatever color you turned when you were about to puke, because Taube swore and got out of the way. At least that way, Cooper didn’t throw up on anyone. Puking on the floor in front of his new CO, a respected war hero, and two medics was still in the top ten most humiliating moments of his life. There wasn’t much in his stomach to throw up, just water and one and a half energy bars. But apparently his body really didn’t want it.
There was a hand on his shoulder, someone asking him something, but Cooper barely registered the question. He stared down at the floor, eyes defocused. This had happened before, right? Fracture? Yeah. Fracture. He’d hit his head, suffered a concussion. Did he have another concussion? He’d fallen so many times on Typhon. He’d thought the jump kit and the helmet would take the worst of it but…hell, he didn’t know. He had no clue what he was doing. “Shit,” he muttered.
“Were you given any medication during Broadsword?” asked the med droid. Its voice was neutral in a calming way, but higher pitched than BT’s had been.  Thinking about BT made his stomach churn. “Exposure to any other energy sources?”
Had he? So much had happened. He could barely keep track. “Uhm...s-sansufentynal. After my drop pod landed. And...Lastimosa…” The name tasted bitter in his mouth. “…gave me something, I don’t know what. He said it might knock me out, but I’d feel better once I woke up. I was in a power chamber, there was some radiation, but I think it wasn’t so long that my suit couldn’t handle it.”
“Understood.” The med droid began speaking in softer tones to the medic, something about blood work and scans; Cooper was too busy trying to control his still-revolting stomach to really pay attention.
Am I dying? Did I really survive all that bullshit just to die like this?
“You’re not dying,” said Taube roughly. Cooper looked up at him, confused. Had he said that out loud? How out of it was he right now? “Just keep it together, kid. We’re gonna get you help.”
He was the one resting a hand on Cooper’s shoulder. The reassuring pressure of the grip contrasted with the way Taube actually looked: worn down, five o’clock shadow, bags under his eyes. He looked just as ready to pass out as Cooper felt.
Cooper couldn’t blame him for that. It had been a hell of a long day. Using the past tense didn’t feel right, though. A day like that couldn’t just be…over. Not like this. Not with…
He lay back down and shut his eyes tightly.
He can’t be gone.
How can he just be gone?
The thought kept echoing in his head as they dragged him into a private room in the medbay. Cooper went through the motions, sitting up, letting them look him over, responding to any questions he knew the answers to. The answers kept getting shorter and shorter; if that concerned the medics, Cooper barely noticed. Everything was growing more distant—sounds, sensations, the overall feeling of reality. All he wanted to do was curl up somewhere quiet and dark and sleep.
Sleep and wake up in a world where BT wasn’t gone.
.
Cooper had gone quiet.
Barker hadn’t noticed it at first. He’d only realized because he’d happened to glance in Cooper’s direction. He was hunched over, face buried in his hands, not making a sound even as his shoulders shook slightly. Barker wasn’t shocked—after everything Cooper had been through, having an emotional crash with the physical one wasn’t out of the blue or anything.
Should I do something?
Barker barely knew the guy from Adam, but he had a feeling Briggs didn’t either. That might’ve been part of the problem, now that he thought about it. All that shit and no one he could talk to about it.  Still, one of us should say something. Briggs was still talking intensely with the human medic, and the bot didn’t look like the reassuring type. It was either interrupt or…
He sighed. Ah, screw it. “Hey, Cooper?” Barker said carefully as he stepped forward.
Cooper didn’t reply.
Shit. “Cooper?” Barker repeated, a bit louder this time. When that didn’t get a response, he knew it was time to switch tactics. Cooper had been a rifleman before this; maybe he just needed a good prod from a CO to get him out of it. “Pilot,” Barker tried, trying to force his voice back into tones he hadn’t used since the IMC.
Still nothing.
Except he hadn’t been pilot for longer than a few days, right? Field promotion, no time to get used to it. So maybe…
“Hey, Rifleman.”
Cooper straightened up immediately, shoulders squared, hands dropping down from his face. “Sir,” he said. His eyes were pink, still wet with tears. He didn’t seem to register who Barker was at first; his body just responded to the rank. Muscle memory. Hell of a thing.
Barker had Cooper’s attention all right, but now he didn’t know what to do with it.
“You, uh…” Barker took another few steps forward and clumsily rested a hand on Cooper’s shoulder. “You okay?”
The kid looked at him like he was trying to figure out the right answer to the question.
That look didn’t last long. Whatever it was Cooper was trying to press down and re-shape into an acceptable answer shattered like a glass bottle. His composure and decorum went with it. Next thing Barker knew, the kid’s face was pressed against his chest as his body heaved with audible sobs.
Damn it, I am not equipped for this.
Though he may have been more prepared than everyone else there. Briggs looked just as caught off-guard as he did, and the medbot wasn’t going to be any help. The flesh and blood medic looked lost, too. Barker shot them all a baffled look as he clumsily patted Cooper’s shoulder. You’re gonna let me do this? Really? “’S’okay. Let it out.” Don’t worry about me telling anyone. I will definitely be drinking enough to forget this. “I’m sorry.”
The words tasted sharp, bitter. I get it. That part was left unspoken, but he did. The empty hole in your head, in your soul. You formed bonds quickly in combat. Cooper might not have had the years of connection Barker had with Juliet, but that wouldn’t make it hurt less. Someone sacrificing themselves for you never went down easily.
Barker gritted his teeth. Definitely drinking tonight.
“You’re safe now,” he said instead. “We’ve got you, kid.”
Cooper’s sobs slowed eventually. He let go of Barker’s jumpsuit, instead tightly hugging himself. He rocked slightly in place—self-soothing, if Barker had to guess—and his eyes stayed clenched shut. “Can’t,” he choked out.
“Can’t what?”
“It…mmph.” His shoulders hunched more tightly, like he was trying to shrink into himself. “Bright.”
Briggs finally snapped out of it and went to dim the lights. The medbot said something to the human medic, who cursed quietly and started digging around through some nearby drawers. Barker, meanwhile, crouched in front of Cooper, trying to catch his gaze. “That better?” A pause. A nod. “Anything hurt? Like, about to drop dead hurt?”
Cooper hugged himself more tightly. Damn it, I’m making things worse again. Barker didn’t think this was a panic attack; he’d seen plenty of those before. So what is it? What’s wrong?
The medic nudged him aside gently and held out something to Cooper. “Here,” she said. “Do you think you can use this?”
She small tablet she’d passed him had an application open with a bunch of buttons. Barker could see an alphabet, and some standard words and phrases. Cooper took the tablet, then stared at the application as if trying to register what he was looking at. After a lengthy pause, he tapped one of the options.
“No.”
Okay, they were getting somewhere. “No, nothing hurts?” Barker guessed. Cooper nodded. “What do you need, kid?”
A pause. This time, Cooper tapped at the letters.
“Alone.”
…yeah. Fair.
“Can we clear the room, guys?” the medic asked. To Cooper, she added, “We’ll be just outside. Come get us if you need anything, okay?”
She seemed confident that Cooper wouldn’t hurt himself or have a heart attack, so Barker followed the others outside. He took one more glance at Cooper as he stepped out, and almost wished he hadn’t. The freshly minted pilot had hunched back over, the tablet hugged tightly to his chest. It was something no one should see, least of all the drunk who’d only just met the poor guy.
Barker looked away. Jack Cooper was going to be the talk of the town when they got back to Harmony. The least they could do was let him grieve in private while he still could.

Hey again!
I'm sorry this sh*t cut again 🙃
This app hates me for real
Enjoy!
My dear 🧶, I'm sorry it took this long! I hope you'll enjoy it!
💜
🧶Okay so I’m thinking of y/n being on vacation with SKZ and her and Hyune using this time as a romantic getaway to spend time with each other type vibe. I wanted to switch up the dynamics with this one where he isn’t hiding that he doesn’t feel well and he keeps telling y/n and the others that he feels really nauseous and has a migraine but everyone just brushes it off. Then that night he doesn’t even eat much of his dinner and lays his head down on y/n lap because he feels dizzy but ends up throwing up everywhere and everyone realizes that it’s serious. Then they just go to bed and he takes a painkiller for the migraine and at first it works but the next day everything deteriorates and his head feels worse and he keeps vomiting. And there’s an emotional moment where he’s just crying because he’s really frustrated with everything and y/n hugs and comforts him.
A little angst 😌
SUMMER VACATION
The boys were on a little break in between promotions, a time when they wanted to do everything, from sleeping all day to going out.
This time around, they had two weeks off, no photoshoots or individual schedules for surprise content for STAYs, just freedom to do whatever they wanted.
You were on vacation from your job as well and Hyunjin wanted you to come with them to a little vacation house.
It was summer and being a little far away from the city would be good for all of you.
Since the trip wasn't that far away, this time you rented two cars to go, as it also would give you the freedom to go to the near town if needed.
The day of the trip was sunny and almost too hot, it felt like each of you had a sun of your own on top of your head.
Everyone was excited about the trip but one person, Hyunjin.
He wanted to have a small romantic getaway with you and enjoy some free time before both of you went back to work.
But his body did not want to cooperate with him. He woke up feeling strange, and lethargic, and at first, he thought that he was just tired, after all, he had just finished promotions, and he still haven't had time to properly rest.
He sat on the edge of the bed and felt a weird pressure in his head and a painful sting as well, signs he was at the beginning of a migraine. He took a moment before actually getting up, afraid that if he did so, he was gonna pass out.
When he deemed it safe, he made his way to the bathroom to take a shower and get ready for the trip. But on the way to the bathroom, his stomach began to act up as well, it flipped, making the contents slosh around and he felt a sudden wave of nausea.
When he got to the bathroom, he went directly to the sink and grabbed the edges for support.
He took a good look in the mirror and noticed that despite feeling awful he didn't look that way. He washed his face to properly wake up and spat out thick saliva. He didn't have the urge to throw up but he didn't want to swallow that either.
As he rinsed his mouth, the feeling of the cold water touching his lips gave him some sort of comfort and relief. He closed his eyes and took a few deep breaths before entering the shower, as he was afraid he might get sick or faint.
The cold water did provide some comfort from the heat but at the same time, it bothered his already aching head.
Coming out of the shower, his migraine had worsened a bit so he went to ask Chan if he had anything for the pain.
- Chan-hyung, good morning...
- Oh, Hyunjin-ah, good morning! Are you done packing?
- Almost. Hyung, do you have any painkillers?
- Hm? Why? Are you okay?
- Not really...My head is killing me and I feel sick...
- Maybe you're still tired from the promotions and a bit anxious about the trip. Here, take these.
- Thanks, hyung.
He took the medicine with some cold water but the tiny bit of taste it left in his mouth made him gag. He took another deep breath in and managed to keep everything down.
Since the weather was hot, he put on some light, comfortable yet fashionable clothes and finished packing his bag, taking as much medicine as possible with him.
Just like always, you went to the dorm to help the boys finish packing and this time, make sure that each car had one cooler with drinks and food, otherwise, you were going to perish on the way to the house.
Arriving there you found out that, surprisingly, the boys were almost ready, different from the other time when you had to mom them before leaving.
- Hello, guys!
- Oh, y/n! Hello! Good morning!
- I see that we're better prepared this time.
You said smirking.
- hahaha yes!
- Where are the coolers?
- At the kitchen!
- I'll take a look and make sure we have everything we need.
- Okay! Thanks!
You headed to the kitchen and checked the two coolers, they had some fruit, snacks, and a lot of water, sports drinks, and juice. Everything to keep everyone hydrated during this trip, since the sun looked like it was laughing at you.
After that, you went to Hyunjin's bedroom and found him sitting at the edge of the bed, with earphones on.
- Hello, honey!
- Oh, hello babe!
He said, being a little dramatic as he got startled.
- Excited about the trip?
- Hm... yes and no...
- Hm? Why?
- I don't feel well...Like, my head is hurting, it feels like my migraine is working up and I feel nauseous...
- Oh honey. I'm sure it's just because you're tired. After all, you just finished promotions, this trip is kind of rushed.
- Yeah, maybe...
He was sure something wasn't right with him but he couldn't tell if it was just because he was anxious and it would go away eventually or if it was something else, but he trusted you with all his heart, so if you said it could be because he was just tired, he'd rather believe in your words.
- Come here.
You hugged him, kissed the top of his head, and took a good look at him.
The clothes he picked up along with the light pink hair made him look ethereal, you were always amazed by his fashion sense.
- Woah, you look amazing!
- You too, babe.
- Are done packing?
- Yep.
- Then let's wait for the others in the living room.
You both sat down on the couch as the rest finished packing their stuff and double-checked if everything was there.
You got the coolers and went to the car.
Since there were nine of you, one car had to transport 5 people and the other, 4.
The boys didn't want you to be uncomfortable and cramped during the road trip, so you went in the car with fewer people, with Hyunjin, Lee Know, and Felix. And in the other car were Chan, Changbin, Seungmin, Jisung, and Jeongin.
The place you were headed was 3h to 4h away from the dorms, which meant you'd be trapped inside a car, in the heat of the summer, for at least half of that time and no one was looking forward to that.
Lee Know was driving and you two had agreed you'd switch with him for the other half of the trip.
As for the first half, you and Hyunjin sat in the back while Felix was in the front with Lee Know.
The trip started with a nice vibe, the AC was on and music was playing, and everyone was singing and talking and just enjoying the view.
Hyunjin was also enjoying a little bit, despite his head practically begging him to ask the others to turn the volume down, because he saw that you were having fun.
He sang and talked as well, and even accepted a few snacks and a sports drink, even though his stomach wasn't that settled.
As minutes passed, that excitement started to disappear as the heat intensified and you felt like you were inside an oven.
Out of everyone in that car, Hyunjin felt the worst. His head was pounding, his eyes stung from the brightness outside, not even the sunglasses were working, he felt dizzy, the heat inside the car was making him feel suffocated and his nausea was coming back stronger than before.
- Minho, can you turn up? The AC?
- I think it's already maxed...
- Really? I feel like I'm melting back here...
You said, fanning your face with your hand.
Hyunjin closed his eyes, trying to protect them from the brightness outside and also trying to control his nausea. He grabbed a cold towel from inside the cooler and placed it on his nape, to see if he could refresh a bit, but none of it was working.
His nausea was increasing and he was starting to panic, he wasn't sure if he was gonna be sick but he was starting to feel like he couldn't breathe.
Without noticing, he started to hyperventilate, trying to catch his breath but along with that, his stomach kept doing flips.
He didn't know what was happening, he wasn't sure if he wanted to vomit or not, but he was sure he needed to get out of that car.
- Hyung, please pull over.
Everyone was taken aback by the sudden request.
- Is everything okay?
- Honey, are you alright?
- I don't feel good. I feel dizzy and like I'm gonna throw up.
- Okay, hold on.
Thankfully, there was a shoulder just a few meters away.
Lee Know stopped the car and Hyunjin opened the door to his side and sat at the edge of the seat.
You grabbed a bottle of water and went to his side. Before giving it to him you poured some of it on his nape, to try to relieve some of the heat.
- Here, drink some.
- Thanks.
He gladly accepted the bottle and took small sips, paying attention to the cool sensation as it went down his throat. He was thirsty and he wanted to chug down that entire bottle but he knew better that if he did that, he was gonna throw up.
- Feeling better?
You said putting a cold cloth on his nape and massaging it.
- Not really. I still feel nauseous...
- I think you're a bit carsick and the heat isn't helping.
You said as you continued to massage his nape.
- Maybe...
He kept his head up and eyes shut as he tried to take deep breaths and cool down a bit with the cold cloth on his neck. When he looked down again, it was as if there were waves drawn on it.
- Do you think you're okay to go back to the car?
Lee Know said getting close to Hyunjin and pressing his shoulder.
- No... just give me a minute...I still feel lightheaded...
- Okay. Take your time.
Lee Know stepped away to call Chan and tell them their situation.
- Hyung?
- Minho? Is everything okay?
- Not really. I mean, we had to stop for a few minutes because Hyunjin started to feel unwell.
- Is he okay? What happened?
- He said he felt dizzy and nauseous. We think he's carsick and maybe the heat is making it worse.
- Okay. There's a rest area a few kilometers ahead, we'll meet you there. No need to rush.
- Okay, hyung. Bye.
Minho got back to you to tell you what they were going to do.
- I called Chan-hyung and he said that there's a rest area ahead and we'll meet there.
- Okay.
You were still by Hyunjin's side, massaging his nape and fanning him, trying to provide some sort of comfort from the heat.
- Babe, do you think you're okay now?
- Yeah, I guess so.
- Okay, come on.
You helped him up slowly making sure he wouldn't feel dizzy. You held his arm firmly, in case something happened.
- You good?
- Yeah. Felix, can you switch seats with me?
- Of course. It'll help with the carsickness, right?
- Hopefully. Thank you.
You all got back in the car with Hyunjin now sitting in the front with Lee Know and Felix and you in the backseat.
Sitting in the front, looking at the road ahead, did help with his nausea a bit, he wanted to believe it was just carsickness but deep down he knew it was the case. His head was throbbing but he was too afraid to take any medicine now and throwing up right after. He just stayed with his sunglasses on and tried to focus on the road and also not die of heat inside that car.
In about 1h30 you reached the rest area and met with the others.
- Here we are. Let's get inside the store, it might be cooler there.
You got out, relieved to be out of that burning hot car.
Hyunjin was still feeling nauseous, not as strong as before but it was still there and he was scared to move and worsen, his headache or feel dizzy again. But at the same time, the car was too hot and that was making him feel even worse than what he already did.
He opened the door to his side and took a deep breath before getting out. He stood up slowly and leaned on the car for a few seconds before walking to the store.
- Are you still feeling dizzy?
- Just a bit...
- Let's go, I'll hold you if anything happens.
You said smiling and wrapping your arms around his waist.
Just like Lee Know said, the store was cooler and they had a nice bistro with delicious snacks.
You ordered an iced latte and a slice of cake, while Hyunjin's stomach twisted at the smell of the coffee and the sight of food, it took everything in his power to surpass a gag.
- Honey, do you want something?
- No...I'm not that hungry.
- At least get a popsicle then, to help with this god-forsaken heat.
- I'll do that.
He wasn't sure if that was a good idea or not, but he was feeling as if he was boiling so he bought a watermelon-flavored one, that much to his surprise wasn't as sweet so it settled well with his stomach.
- Is it tasty?
- Hm! It's not too sweet! Do you want some?
- Just a bite.
That was the first moment of this trip that Hyunjin enjoyed so far. For a brief minute, everything he was feeling was gone and he just enjoyed that little moment with you.
Everyone finished their meals, went to the bathroom, and then back to the cars.
Just like agreed earlier, you were driving to the summer house.
Hyunjin sat on the front, to prevent that awful nausea from coming back and Lee Know and Felix were in the backseat.
The ride was not as cheerful as the beginning because the heat was practically unbearable and not even the AC was enough and they had little fans as well, you were all close to ducking your head inside the cooler.
Hyunjin kept his eyes focused on the road as his nausea started to build up again, his stomach gurgled and sent an air bubble up his throat, he brought his hand to his mouth to surpass what ended up being a wet burp, and it almost made him gag.
- Hey, babe, are you alright?
You said putting your hands on his leg.
- Yeah, I mean, the nausea is still lingering around...
He answered grabbing your hand and squeezing it. You squeezed it back reassuring him you were there.
- Do you want us to pull over again?
- No...I don't think so...
- Babe, it's okay if we stop again if you're feeling carsick...
- No, I'm fine...I just feel awful and I wanna rest.
You were a bit taken aback by how he said that but you just brushed it off as him being uncomfortable with the heat and getting irritated.
The last half of the road trip was a lot quieter compared to the first one. The radio was on, but barely audible, Felix had fallen asleep, Lee Know was on his phone and Hyunjin kept his hands on his head, starting to throb in pain.
In about an hour, you arrived at the vacation house. It was just an hour, but to Hyunjin felt like three.
He kept his eyes closed for the rest of the trip and when he opened them again, he felt a little dizzy, taking in all the information.
You got out of the car first and went to help Felix and Lee Know to take the bags from the trunk.
Hyunjin stepped out of the car and leaned on it for a while, both hands on his knees for support, as his head spun from the movement and his stomach flipped.
- Hey, Hyunjin-ah, are you okay?
Lee Know asked as he passed by the younger boy to get more stuff out of the car.
- I felt lightheaded and nauseous...
- It's just the carsickness, you'll feel better in a while.
- Yeah...
Hyunjin took deep breaths and made sure he wasn't going to pass out before walking to the house.
Entering the house, everyone was amazed by how beautiful and cozy it was. It had a cooling system, which meant it felt heavenly inside and there was a huge pool outside, just waiting for them.
They went to their rooms just to open their bags and put on swimsuits and jump right into the pool.
You went to your and Hyunjin's bedroom and also wore your swimsuit and got to the pool area.
- Babe, you're not coming?
- Hm? Go ahead, I'll go to the bathroom first.
- Okay.
You left and met with the others at the pool, and they had already started a barbecue. Chan was grilling the meat while the others played in the pool, so you decided to help Chan for a while making some fresh drinks for everyone.
After a few minutes, Hyunjin also came down to the pool and lay down on the sun lounger.
- Hey honey, is everything okay?
- Yeah. And you, are enjoying the pool?
- Not yet, I'm helping Chan with the food. Let me help you put on sunscreen.
You sat behind him on the lounger and applied sunscreen on his back, the cool sensation from the lotion felt amazing on his skin, and your touch helped him feel a little bit better. You asked him to turn around and applied it on his face, he scrunched his nose making the cutest expression and you cupped his face in your hands and kissed him.
- Why are you so cute?
- I just am.
He said giggling and kissing you back. Seeing that you thought that he was just carsick and was now feeling better. And Hyunjin also thought the same so he decided to enjoy the time outside.
He didn't go into the pool because, apart from being afraid of getting sick, he felt drained from the trip, so he stayed on the lounger, just enjoying the cool wind.
You got into the pool and played with the boys a little, and it made Hyunjin happy to see you having fun. He was feeling bad but seeing you happy made him happy as well.
When Chan was done grilling the meat, he called the boys to eat before going into the pool again.
You sat with Hyunjin on the lounger after grabbing a plate.
- Honey, you're not gonna eat?
- I'm not that hungry...
- Just a little bite? The meat is delicious, you'll like it.
You said smiling and pointing the meat towards his mouth. Hyunjin didn't want to eat anything but he didn't want you to be sad, after asking so cutely. He started to chew and immediately regretted accepting the bite, the meat was rather chewy, which usually he wouldn't mind, but today that was setting his stomach off. Each chew was a challenge, the meat was losing its taste in his mouth but he couldn't swallow. When he finally managed, he prayed that he didn't gag or get nauseous and that prayer was heard.
After 40 minutes, everyone was back in the pook and now Lee Know was in charge of the meat, while Chan got to have fun with the kids.
Hyunjin was still in the lounge, enjoying the sunlight as he watched you play in the pool. But the smell of the barbecue was starting to get too much and each breath in made his stomach twist, nausea building up intensely.
He was able to suppress a gag and got up from his place.
- Hyung, I don't feel good. I'm feeling nauseous, I'm gonna go inside.
Hyunjin said putting a hand on his stomach.
- Okay. Try to rest a little, maybe you're still feeling unwell from the car ride.
Hyunjin went up to your bedroom to rest.
He found some Dramin pills and took them to see if they'd help with that horrible nausea and lay down on the bed.
In the beginning, he couldn't get comfortable because of how hot it was even with the ac on and straight on him. He tried to scroll through his phone to distract himself but the migraine just kept getting worse and the brightness from the phone screen was making his eyes sting.
He put his phone to the side and just shut his eyes and tried to focus on his breathing to see if he could relax a bit and also help with the nausea. Within a few minutes, he was fast asleep.
Back in the pool, the boys were asking where Hyunjin was since they were too focused on the game before and didn't notice him leaving.
- Lee Know-hyung, where is Hyunjin?
- He went back to his bedroom, and he said he was still feeling nauseous. I think he is still a bit car sick.
The boys were a little worried but they all thought it was just carsickness so they imagined that some rest should make him feel better.
You went back inside to check on him and went up to your bedroom. You found him sleeping soundly, so you tip-toed yourself into the room, closed the curtain, and left. Thankfully, he didn't even flinch.
You went back to the pool with the boys and told them he was sleeping and they were relieved to see that he was getting better from the ride.
You decided to let Hyunjin rest and enjoyed the pool for the rest of the day with the other members.
Hyunjin slept soundly for about 3 hours, he didn't move an inch from his initial position in bed.
When he woke up, he noticed the curtains had been closed and the room felt a lot more cozy that way. It was a feeling he wanted to enjoy but his body had other plans.
His stomach was still gurgling and turning and his head was pounding, he felt like there was a tsunami inside his stomach and someone hammering his head. He cursed under his breath that the medicine only made him sleep, but didn't work with the nausea, even though it was a medication for nausea, and now he was starting to panic
"If this isn't working, then what am I gonna take?"
He thought to himself as the nausea kept growing stronger. He carefully lay on his back, as his stomach revolted.
The movement, as minimum as it was, made his head throb and he felt dizzy, he covered his eyes with one arm and rested his other hand on his stomach, as he swallowed the thick saliva that filled his mouth.
His stomach kept doing flips and sloshing the little amount he ate during the day around, he felt it wanting to go up his throat so he started to swallow convulsively.
He kept on swallowing thick saliva, while his hand gripped the fabric of his shirt tightly in an attempt to control what he was feeling.
He repeated the pattern until his mouth went numb and the nausea finally subsided. He felt relief wash over his body, but his head still throbbed, not giving him a break, and he kept his eyes shut, not daring to open them and worsen his already killer migraine.
He grew exhausted from the whole process of controlling his nausea and dealing with his migraine without medication that he fell asleep again without notice. And like that, he stayed until noon.
After playing in the pool the whole day, everyone was ready for a well-deserved bath to have dinner and hit the bed.
While the others went to their rooms to take their showers, you went to your bedroom to wake Hyunjin up.
When you entered the room, he was sleeping like a baby, and you didn't want to wake him up but he needed to take a bath and eat something.
You carefully approached him and sat on the bed beside him, and gently caressed his arm, not to startle him awake.
- Honey, wake up...
You said softly.
- Hm? Babe? What time is it?
He said barely opening his eyes, voice raspy.
- About 7 PM. Are you okay?
- Not really... I took a Dramin pill earlier thinking it would help with the nausea but it just made me sleep. I still feel nauseous and my migraine is killing me...
- Oh babe, I'm sure you're just tired from the ride and the weather. Why don't you take a shower so we can head down and have dinner?
- I will...
He took your advice and went to the bathroom to take a shower, while you organized your bags.
Hyunjin was feeling awful, the nausea just wouldn't go away, and his head was throbbing to the point where he was considering keeping his eyes shut the whole time. He thought maybe a shower would make him feel at least, less hot and less icky.
He took a rather cold shower, considering how hot it was outside, but the low temperature of the water was making his head pound again. He felt as if someone was squeezing his head on both sides and that made him incredibly dizzy, his vision got blurred so he sat down, afraid of passing out.
He took deep breaths to make sure he wasn't feeling lightheaded before standing up again.
When he was up on his feet again, his stomach gurgled, as if telling him that staying sit would've been a wiser choice.
He took deep breaths once again and finished his bath before anything could happen.
When he entered the shower he was hoping it would be a refreshing one, that would help him relax but he got out still feeling miserable, and it didn't help with the heat as well. He put on some light clothes and went to the bedroom.
You entered the shower right after him and he sat on the bed, too afraid to lay down and feel even more nauseous.
You two headed downstairs for dinner, and the boys had already cooked a delicious summer meal with cold drinks.
You sat beside Hyunjin at the table and put on your plate.
He hesitantly grabbed a few things that looked like would settle down well and put on his plate.
You were chatting about the day and how exhausted you were from the road trip, planning what to do the next day, etc.
Hyunjin was rather quiet throughout, eating slowly. He took small amounts and was chewing slowly, every bite made his stomach gurgle, and swallowing the food was a challenge.
After one more bite, he felt his stomach act up a little more so he put his chopsticks down and sat back on his chair.
- Are you done, love?
- Yeah...I'm not that hungry...
- Okay, sweetie.
You said kissing him on the cheek.
You finished eating and helped the others organize the table and do the dishes while Hyunjin just sat on the couch, waiting for you.
You went to the living room with the others and sat beside him.
- Babe, can I lay on your lap? I feel dizzy...
- Really? Of course, honey. Come here.
You said tapping on your legs.
He lay down and you started to stroke his hair and his arm.
The tv was on, everyone was dozing off every once in a while, and you continued to play with Hyunjin's hair. He seemed comfortable from your point of view, but in reality, he was feeling miserable.
As he lay on your lap, his dizziness wasn't quite going away, even though he was lying down, the room was spinning as if he was standing up, not even keeping his eyes closed was helping. His whole body felt weird because he kept switching between feeling cold and hot, but he didn't have a fever.
And the turmoil in his stomach was growing stronger by the second. He could feel its content sloshing around and threatening to make its way up.
He felt something creeping up his chest and his mouth flooded with saliva, he did his best to swallow it down without moving from your lap as he was afraid that any movement would just make him vomit. He squeezed his hands as he swallowed convulsively until his mouth felt numb.
At first, it worked, but moments later he felt it again, only this time his mouth wasn't filled with saliva. He felt an air bubble coming up, it made him feel choked so he decided to burp.
But his body sent him no warning of what was coming.
As soon as he burped, vomit gushed out getting on you and on the floor, startling everyone, including himself.
- Oh my god! Babe!
You said as he quickly got up from your lap as another violent stream made its way out, and you barely had time to hold his hair.
- Get a bucket and clean cloths! Oh babe, it's okay, just let it out.
He kept his head down as you held his hair and rubbed his back.
He spat out thick saliva and barely had a moment to breathe before another wave hit the bucket that one of the boys thankfully got in time.
Everyone was shocked by the sudden situation unfolding in front of them.
You kept rubbing his back as another wave ripped through him, making him arch his back and sway forward.
- Oh babe, you're doing good.
You reassured him as the boys went to get water for Hyunjin and cloths to clean up the mess.
He stopped for a moment and only spat out saliva before going silent.
You tied his hair and massaged his nape while your other hand grabbed his.
- Hyunjin? Babe? Talk to me.
He just kept his head down, completely silent, it was as if the whole world had lost its sounds.
- Babe? Look at me. Hey, look at me.
You said as you gently lifted his face only to see tears flowing down his cheeks.
- Honey! What's wrong? Why are you crying?
He just turned the other way as he brought a hand to wipe off the tears from his eyes.
At this point, you were getting seriously worried about what was wrong with him.
- Hyunjin, please. Baby, please, look at me. What's going on?
He looked at you teary-eyed before he actually managed to speak.
- I feel frustrated! I've been telling you that I felt sick since morning and none of you cared!
Everyone's heart sunk to their stomachs.
- I told you I had a migraine and that I felt nauseous all day but you kept insisting that it was carsickness or just nerves from the trip. You didn't bother to think that it could've been something else.
None of you knew how to react to what was happening in front of you. You didn't know what to say to comfort the poor boy crying in front of you. You felt guilty for not paying enough attention, you felt guilty for brushing him off the entire day, you felt guilty.
- I'm so sorry. I'm deeply sorry, honey. I honestly thought it'd just go away. I'm so sorry.
You said almost in tears yourself.
- Hyunjin-ah, I'm sorry for not noticing and for not helping you. I'm really sorry.
Chan said kneeling in front of him, resting his hand on one of Hyunjin's knees.
Hyunjin just ducked his head again, crying harder and sobbing. You wrapped your arms around him and embraced him, trying to calm him down.
- I'm right here, love. I'm so sorry. Please, stop crying. You're gonna make yourself feel sick again.
The more he cried, the more he felt nauseous as he kept swallowing saliva. He didn't have time to escape from your embrace before his stomach sent its content rapidly up his throat.
He gagged as a thick stream of vomit gushed out of his mouth onto your lap, soiling both your clothes.
- Oh my god!
The boys exclaimed as they scattered around to grab more cloths for you and Hyunjin.
- I-I'm sorry-
Hyunjin said between sobs and hiccups before another wave ripped through him but this time he was able to get the bucket in time.
- It's okay, babe. Don't worry. Just get everything out.
The boys handed you a cloth so you could wipe off most of the mess while Hyunjin continued to throw up next to you.
You kept rubbing his back and giving him little kisses, trying to give him some comfort.
He gagged wetly one last time but only bile and thick saliva came out, indicating his stomach was empty.
Chan came back with a bottle of cold water so Hyunjin could rinse his mouth and get rid of that putrid taste in his mouth.
- Honey, how are you feeling?
- Gross...and my migraine is worse than before...I feel lightheaded.
- Okay. Why don't we go take a shower? Sounds good to you?
- Yeah...
- Can you stand?
- No, I feel like I'm gonna pass out...
Chan made his way to Hyunjin and put one of his arms across his shoulder while his other arm wrapped around the younger boy's waist.
- Hyung will take you to the bathroom, okay? We'll go slowly so you won't get dizzy, alright?
- Hmm
Hyunjin barely had his eyes open because of how much his head was pounding.
- Y/n, go take your shower. We'll take care of him.
- Thank you, guys.
Chan made his way up with Hyunjin, while you went to your bedroom to take a shower as well and the other boys proceeded to clean the living room.
Chan thanked heavens this house had bathtubs in the bathrooms or else it would be difficult for Hyunjin to shower in his condition.
- Hyunjin-ah, how are you feeling now?
- Dizzy...and tired...
- Okay. I will wash your hair for you, alright?
- Thanks, hyung...I'm sorry...
- No. We're the ones who should be apologizing for not taking your complaints seriously. I'm sorry. Get in the bathtub, the quicker we shower the quicker you'll get to rest.
- Okay...
Hyunjin sat down in the bathtub and Cham turned on the water, lukewarm, so as not to make him cold or make him feel even worse because of the heat outside.
- How's the water?
- Good...
Hyunjin said, voice raspy from the strain earlier.
Chan proceeded to wash his hair, very carefully and gave him a little massage to help with the migraine and relaxation as well.
- Hyung...
- Hm? What is it? Are you feeling sick again?
- No... Do you think y/n is mad at me?
- Why would they?
- Because I threw up on them and because of all the things I said...
- No. They are not. Y/n would never be mad at you for that. Just relax.
Hyunjin didn't know exactly what he was feeling, frustration because no one listened to him all day or anger because he didn't mean to act like that towards you and the members.
He covered his face, letting out a heavy sigh and a choked sob.
- Hey, hey. Stop that. It'll be okay, don't worry, alright? Do you trust me?
- Yes.
- Good. Now just relax.
Chan finished washing his hair and rising it and made sure the boy was okay to finish his shower alone.
- Are you feeling okay to be alone here?
- Yeah. I'm good.
- I'll be right outside, okay? If you start feeling unwell, just call me, alright? I won't close the door.
Chan went into the bedroom and stayed on the bed while Hyunjin finished showering.
A few minutes later, the sick boy came out looking flushed and tired.
- You good?
- Hhmm. My head hurts and I'm tired...
- Y/n is still showering so let me dry your hair.
Chan blow-dried Hyunjin's hair and applied one of the boy's favorite products to make it look healthy, especially given the fact that it was pink.
Hyunjin thanked his hyung for the help and went to his bedroom.
He sat down at the edge of the bed and waited for you to come out of the shower.
You were met with a tired-looking boy with fluffy cotton candy pink colored hair sitting on the bed, eyes puffy indicating that he'd been crying.
- Hey, honey. Did you manage to take a shower?
You said softly, placing the towel on the chair and sitting beside him.
- Yes...Chan hyung helped me...
- Are you feeling a little better?
- Not really...babe, I'm sorry for the way I acted earlier...
- There's no need to apologize, honey. I'm the one who should be sorry for brushing you off the whole day. I'm sorry.
You said, tucking his hair behind his ear to get a closer look at his face before kissing him and pulling him into your embrace.
He hugged you back, burying his head in your chest.
- Honey, do you think you can stomach a light smoothie? Just so you can take something for your migraine?
- Maybe... I don't know...
- I'll put very little sugar in it.
- Okay
You went downstairs to make him the smoothie and went back up.
- Here.
- Thank you.
He took small sips, very carefully so as not to upset his stomach any further.
- Hmm! It tastes good! Thank you!
- Really?
- Yeah! It's not sweet but it tastes very good.
- I'm glad you liked it! And your stomach? Is it accepting it well?
- Yeah. I don't feel nauseous.
- Great! Do you think you can stomach some medicine?
- Yep.
You gave him some painkillers to help with his migraine and he gladly took them. And thankfully his stomach accepted them as well.
You two decided to watch some tv while he took his time to drink the smoothie as slowly as possible so as not to trigger his stomach.
After about an hour, he had already drunk the entire smoothie and was starting to get sleepy.
- Babe, how are you feeling?
- My stomach doesn't feel that nauseous and my head feels better.
He said giving you a cute smile.
- Thank god. Let's sleep, shall we? Come here.
You said opening your arms as he gladly lay his head to rest on your chest, you stroking his hair while he drifted off to sleep.
You were thankful that after such a tiring day for him, he managed to fall asleep without any more incidents.
The night went on smoothly, you could hear the crickets outside and the weather was cool and a little windy, much deserved after such a scorching day.
You woke up around 7 AM, the house was quiet, indicating that the other boys were still in deep sleep. During the night Hyunjij went to his side of the bed and you kept lightly stroking his hair throughout.
You looked to the side and he was still fast asleep, didn't even flinch when you moved a little in the bed. You thought that what happened yesterday was just a malaise and that he was okay. But you soon discovered that wasn't the case.
You went back to sleep but just a few minutes later Hyunjin jumped out of bed.
As he was sleeping he started to feel something revolting in his stomach, it grew from an uneasiness to an unbearable nausea that just kept growing. He felt the hot liquid coming up his chest making him gag, he put a hand on his mouth and darted off the bed startling you.
He barely had time to reach the toilet as a strong wave of vomit ripped through his body hitting the edges of the toilet as well the bathroom floor.
You jumped from the bed and followed him to the bathroom, just in time to see the mess unfold before your eyes.
- Oh god. It's okay, it's okay.
You ran to his side and held his hair for him as he lurched forward as another strong thick wave of pale vomit gushed out of his mouth hitting the toilet water with a sickening sound.
- Oh, babe. I'm right here.
You rubbed his back in circles while your other hand kept holding his hair.
Another wave arched his back making him cough because of the strain and made him sway forward, almost losing his balance.
You guided him to kneel down and once he was safe on the ground you went to get a hair tie.
- I'm back honey, let me tie your hair. Let me flush this as well, it's a mess.
After flushing, you kneeled down next to him and kept rubbing his back as he rested his head on his arm.
- B-babe...I feel awful...
- Oh honey...I know... it'll be better once everything is out.
As if on cue his stomach gurgled making him retch and face the toilet again before another stream came out. He barely had time to breathe as another stronger wave forced its way out, coming out of his nose as well. You kept rubbing his back up and down and giving it some light taps.
- Oh my poor boy.
You said as you got some toilet paper and helped him blow his nose, so some of the content and stench came out before making him feel sick again.
He turned his head to the toilet one more time as a stream of bile came out and after that, he was left spitting out saliva and gagging unproductively.
- Honey, I don't think there's anything left for you to throw up. Let's lean back a bit.
You flushed the toilet and helped him lean his weight on your chest. You kept rubbing his stomach and drawing patterns on his hand to help him calm down.
- Babe, how are you feeling?
- Exhausted...
- Do you think you can stand up to rinse your mouth?
- No...I feel dizzy...
- Okay, I'll get a glass for you.
You brought a glass full of water to rinse his mouth and he did so and then spat out in the toilet.
A few moments later, someone knocked on the door, it was Minho.
- Hey. Are you guys okay?
- Not really. Hyunjin threw up a lot just now.
- I woke up and noticed you weren't on the bed and I heard some noises so I came here to check.
- He was fine last night before we went to sleep. He slept well but then he jolted out of bed and got really sick. He even feels a little feverish.
- Let me help you guys to the bedroom. Hyunjin-ah, can you stand?
- No, hyung...I don't have any strength...
- Okay, hyung will help you, okay?
Minho placed his arms underneath Hyunjin's and slowly helps him up to his feet. Once standing, the older kept holding him until he felt grounded, you also by his side supporting some of his weight.
- Hyunjin-ah, do you feel faint?
- Just a little bit...hold on a minute...
He said blinking his eyes, trying to focus his vision and feel the ground steady underneath his feet.
- Are you good? Let's try to walk a little, and see if you feel faint again.
Minho helped Hyunjin walk but after 4 steps he felt his stomach flip again and hot liquid coming up his throat.
- Hold on...I'm gonna throw up again...
- Okay.
Minho turned around so Hyunjin was facing the sink, since in this condition kneeling him down again to stand up later would just make him feel dizzier and dizzier.
The young boy grabbed the edges of the sink and ducked his head as he proceeded to throw up one more time. Minho and you stayed by his side, holding him to make sure he wouldn't fall and rubbing his back for comfort. Given the ordeal from a few minutes ago, there wasn't much left for him to throw up.
You helped him rinse his mouth once again and wiped it with some clean cloth.
-Think we can go to the bedroom now?
- Hm.
He just nodded, he was too tired after everything that happened since they arrived at the house. Almost too tired, he didn't have any strength left in his body to even move and he felt like he was starting to get a fever.
- Hyung...babe...my body feels heavy...
- Are you gonna pass out?
- I don't know...
He just wanted to lay down and hopefully sleep again.
- Hyung will carry you, okay? Are you okay with that?
- Yes...
Minho proceeded to carry Hyunjin to your bedroom, really carefully so as not to make him feel nauseous again.
He gently settled the young boy on the bed.
- Rest now. Y/n, I'ĺl go to the drug store in a bit to get some things for him, okay?
- Thanks, Minho.
- Thanks, hyung...
Hyunjin said as he lay down and put a light cover on top of him.
You grabbed a bucket and placed it close to him, in case anything happened again, and lay down close to him.
- how are you feeling?
- exhausted...
- and your migraine? And your stomach?
- my migraine is killing me now, it's pounding like it's being hammered from the inside... my stomach just feels weird, not nauseous...
- Do you want to take anything for the migraine?
- no...I'm afraid I'll just vomit again...
- Oh honey...come here.
You opened your arms inviting him to come closer to you. You gave him an eye mask to help with the migraine and embraced him as he rest his head on your chest.
- I'm sorry for worrying you...
- Dont. Just try to relax a little, okay? I love you, honey.
- I love you too.
He said as he buried his head even more in your chest.
As you stroke his hair and drew patterns on his hand, he focused on your breathing and your heartbeat.
They were steady and calm, and he focused all his mind on those rhythms. They made him feel grounded and safe. He started to follow those rhythms until his breathing and his heartbeat matched yours, and when you noticed, he'd fallen asleep.
You gave him a light kiss on the top of his head, before continuing to stroke his hair and he didn't move an inch. You were grateful that he had finally managed to sleep and his expression looked peaceful.
Thankfully in a matter of minutes, it started to rain. The image of the rain, along with the sound of nature outside, rain pouring, leaves rattling, and raindrops hitting the window glass, that was all that all of you needed to take a proper rest.
The whole house was completely silent, everyone was sleeping, enjoying that moment of peace.
You were thankful for the rain and happy that the house was silent because it meant that these hardworking boys, whom you love so much, were finally resting well.

tw for emeto, dizziness, fever, implied treatment for major illness
characters originally from @simplysickness but lovingly gifted to be to continue their story.
kostya and lana. two gay musicians from kyiv who live the best life they can, all things considered, in australia.
*kotyonok means kitten, as a pet name
if you want to see more of these characters or any characters please let me know!
Lana leaned his head against the doorframe of the bathroom in his and Kostya’s shared apartment.
Kostya was on the floor. Saliva was clinging to his lips as he spit in a way that told Lana that his boyfriend was terribly nauseous beyond belief. But, maintaining his boyfriend’s boundaries, Lana simply stood in the doorframe and checked his watch.
“Kotyonok,” Lana said, “How long?”
“Six… hours…” Kostya spit, his breathing shaking, “Six…. Fucking… hours.”
“Not how long you’ve been in the bathroom,” Lana said, “I meant how long was your session?”
Kostya shook his head, though it made him all the more dizzy, and all the more nauseous.
“Six…. Hours…" he muttered, breathless in the same way Lana saw him get short of breath sitting in the treatment center. Breathless in the way he was certainly going to vomit. He just didn’t know when, nor did his body know. “Six… and a half… fucking hours… it took six and a half hours…."
Lana's heart sank as Kostya spit again. He realized the toll the extended treatment had taken on Kostya. He moved from leaning on the doorframe, to sitting on the rug in front of the sink, pulling out his phone.
He knew Kostya hated being touched when he was like this. But Kostya liked the company. And even if he didn’t, Lana would definitely at the very least sit in the hall.
“Why so long?” Lana questioned.
“Nausea,” Kostya groaned, leaning back in the corner where the shower met the wall.
Lana could see how wiped out Kostya was. His eyes were hazy, exhausted, and the blonde half of Kostya’s hair almost entirely washed him out given how horribly pale Kostya was.
“Nausea?” Lana asked.
Kostya nodded, running a hand through his heterochromic hair, “I felt…. Not…. Not totally nauseous this morning but… but…. Fuck, whats the word….”
Lana frowned. He hated seeing Kostya struggle like this. He did.
“Hm,” Lana hummed, “Not nauseous…”
“My stomach was… pissed off when… when I got there,” Kostya said, “So they… they dialed it back… but that means… it took longer.”
“Queasy?” Lana questioned, still hung up on the lost word.
Kostya nodded, rubbing his face and pausing as his hand stopped over his blue eye. Lana saw the jolt of Kostya’s chest, heard the strangled hiccup, and sure enough Kostya was leaning forward again, gagging up a stream of thick saliva.
“Shit babe…” Lana said, using every fiber of his being to not lay a hand on Kostya. Not when it was the one thing Kostya asked him not to do.
“I’ve…. I’ve been here for…” Kostya said, “Got home at…. Three. Fell asleep for half an hour and…”
Lana looked at the time, “Its almost seven. So…. Almost three and a half hours. Have you thrown up at all?”
Kostya shook his head, spitting again, “No… nothing… but I feel… feel so sick… I can’t…”
“Move, really,” Lana filled in, “You feel like the second you stand up you’ll either start vomiting uncontrollably or pass out. Or vomit so much you’ll pass out anyway. Just like….”
Kostya, exhausted and nauseous beyond a reasonable explanation, hummed in curiosity. He was so worn out he didn’t connect the dots, he couldn’t.
“Just like me, over the weekend,” Lana said, “But… you couldn’t have. I could’ve sworn it was just food poisoning. Food poisoning isn’t contagious.”
Kostya winced softly, spitting again.
“Maybe it wasn’t just food poisoning,” Kostya shrugged, “I mean… you’ve had food poisoning before and… and it’s never fucked you up that bad…”
Lana sighed sympathetically, “I’m so sorry kotyonok…”
“Even if I wasn’t… you know,” Kostya shrugged, “I still stayed with you. In bed, here. I would’ve gotten it anyway.”
Kostya heaved, but it was dry. He winced softly afterwards. Nothing. Still nothing. He leaned back against the wall, pulled his knees to his chest, rested his forehead against his knees.
“Is there anything I can do?” Lana asked softly, “Water or..?”
Kostya hesitated. He took a few deep breaths. Not that he didn’t know, not that he hated to ask for anything because he did, but to settle his undeniably upset stomach, just enough to speak without being sick.
“Medicine… maybe,” Kostya said, “I have some… shit… its…. Uh… fuck, I can’t think of the name but…”
“Its for your nausea?” Lana asked, “The one with the terribly long name.”
Kostya lifted his head, nodding slowly.
“Fuck,” Kostya groaned, covering his eyes with his hand, “I don’t know whats worse…. The nausea or the way the room has not…. Has not stopped spinning since I got up….”
“Poor thing,” Lana said, “You sure medicine is what you need? I mean… I don’t know if the medicine can help your stomach, it sounds like it would be better be sick and get it over with…”
Kostya winced softly. Lana was right, even though he did not want to admit it. He just hated it.
“I’ll get you some water,” Lana said, grabbing the sink to pull himself up, “Either it’ll settle your stomach, or make you vomit. Win either way.”
“Imagine me rolling my eyes,” Kostya said, tucking his head back down.
Lana chuckled softly. He wasn’t gone long. Or maybe it just didn’t feel long. Kostya stayed curled up, taking deep breaths. Something, anything, to feel a little less shitty.
Lana is back. And when Kostya lifts his head, Lana is holding out a glass of water with a reassuring smile, trying to lighten the mood despite the circumstances.
"I mean, you're already basically about to puke," Lana said gently, "This can only help. Not hurt."
Kostya managed a weak smile at Lana's attempt at humor.
"Thanks," he murmured, reaching out to take the glass of water. He took a small sip, testing how his stomach would react.
Surprisingly, it seemed to calm down a bit as opposed to feel worse. If only for a moment.
"Better?" Lana asked, concern evident in his eyes.
"A little," Kostya admitted, leaning back against the cool tiles of the bathroom wall.
He closed his eyes, trying to focus on the sensation of the water soothing his parched throat.
Lana sat down beside him, their shoulders brushing lightly.
"You don't have to pretend to be okay, you know," he said softly. "I can see how much you're struggling."
Kostya sighed, his facade crumbling in the face of Lana's understanding. "I just hate feeling like this," he confessed, his voice barely above a whisper. "I'm supposed to be getting better, not worse. And especially because they shifted my treatment to what it is. I should… i should be getting better.”
Lana wrapped an arm around Kostya's shoulders, boundaries be damned for the moment. Kostya would forgive him, and if Kostya genuinely seemed uncomfortable he would move.
"You're allowed to have bad days, Kostya," he reassured him. "It doesn't make you weak."
Kostya leaned into Lana's embrace, grateful for the support. "I know," he replied hoarsely. "I just wish this would pass already."
“It will, eventually,” Lana shrugged.
As Kostya felt the familiar wave of nausea intensify, he hurriedly finished the water, hoping it would provide some relief. But despite his desperate attempt, his body seemed to rebel even more violently. He froze, feeling the cold water in the back of his throat.
"Holding it in will just make your stomach feel worse," Lana's voice cut through the haze of discomfort. He gently let go of Kostya's shoulders, his expression a mix of concern and understanding. "Better out than in, kotyonok," Lana added softly.
Kostya hesitated for a moment, the urge to hold back warring with the need for relief. Kostya hated throwing up. Hated it so much. Especially because of this. But he knew he had no choice and if anything it would help him feel better.
With a resigned nod, he set the glass aside just in time before he lurched forward, retching into the toilet. Lana moved closer, one hand rubbing comforting circles on Kostya's back while the other brushed his hair back from his sweaty forehead.
"Yeah, you have a fev—" Lana started to say, but Kostya's heaving interrupted him, each convulsion sending waves of pain through his body.
"Okay, okay, just let it out," Lana encouraged gently, his voice a steady anchor in Kostya's turbulent world.
Kostya heaved again, feeling the acidic burn rise in his throat. Another heave followed, his stomach contracting forcefully to expel more than just water.
He hadn't eaten much lately, but he could feel the remnants of the few snacks he managed during the day, the small dinner from last night, and perhaps even traces of yesterday's pre-studio breakfast.
It all came up in a relentless torrent, each heave accompanied by a surge of dizziness and lightheadedness that threatened to overwhelm him.
Kostya clenched his eyes shut, willing himself to endure the pain silently, not wanting to worry Lana any further. Tears of exertion stung his eyes, mixing with the sweat on his brow as he rode out the agonizing ordeal.
Lana continued to offer soothing words and gentle touches. After what felt like an eternity but Kostya knew logically it wasn’t, Kostya leaned back, panting heavily but feeling a strange sense of relief.
Lana passed him a piece of toilet paper. Kostya was left coughing as he tried to catch his breath, spitting into the toilet paper pieces. He felt horrible.
Lana grabbed a damp washcloth, running it over Kostya’s face and offering sink water to rinse his mouth.
Kostya wiped his mouth before rinsing his mouth with water. Lana resumed the gentle dabbing of the cool cloth on Kostya’s skin.
"Better?" Lana asked again, concern etched in his features.
Kostya nodded weakly, managing a small smile. "Yeah, actually," he admitted, surprised by how much lighter he felt now that the worst was over. Plus his stomach far less knotted.
“You want to go to bed?” Lana asked, “Or at least lay down.”
Kostya nodded. He did. He felt exhausted, tired. He just wanted to curl up in bed with Lana and pretend none of this was happening.
“God I’m disgusting,” Kostya mumbled.
“No, just sick babe,” Lana said.
Lana helped Kostya to his feet, catching him as his boyfriend practically fell back down to the floor as soon as he stood, guiding him to the sink to rinse his face to feel a little less…. Well, disgusting.
"I told you water would help," Lana teased gently, a hint of relief in his voice.
Kostya chuckled softly, leaning on Lana for support. "You were right," he conceded, grateful for Lana's care and understanding.
"Always remember that," Lana said with a playful wink, helping Kostya back to the bedroom where he could rest more comfortably, “Sometimes I have good ideas.”
“Sometimes,” Kostya said as Lana laid beside him, tucking his head in Lana’s shoulder. “And other times you think picking up something quick to eat from a sketchy place is a good idea.”
Lana whined playfully, “That’s so not fair.” He said, kissing Kostya’s head.
“Life isn’t fair,” Kostya said, snuggling closer to Lana.
Lana chuckled, before running his hand over Kostya’s back in hopes to help his boyfriend fall asleep.

So I had a terrifying night. But I also threw up a lot so I might as well tell you all about it
I don’t drink often, and when I do, it’s never in excess, so when this happened it really freaked me out. I had just a couple of drinks but hadn’t eaten anything all day, so it hit me like a ton of bricks. I was with friends and we were making dinner together. Within an hour, I was throwing up in the bathroom, with one friend holding me and rubbing my back, and the other two standing in the doorway and talking about what they should do with me. As time passed on I became less responsive and started to pass out and they thought about taking me to the hospital, but decided it wasn’t bad enough and that they could just take care of me. I remember feeling overwhelmingly awful at this point, it was just terrible and disorienting. Instead of staying at my studio apartment where it would be hard to keep an eye on me because it was so small and cramped, they decided to take me to my friend’s house to sleep it off. I had to be carried to the car, and then my friend called her boyfriend to help carry me inside her house and get me settled. I remember throwing up in the car several times into a tiny trash can we had taken with us and feeling like my stomach just kept heaving non stop. When I got out of the car, I immediately stumbled and almost fell, and my friend’s boyfriend caught me and picked me up in both of his arms to bring me inside. I remember my head just lulling against his arm and feeling too sick to lift it back up. Once we got inside, he helped lay me on the couch and put a trash can by my head, which I immediately dry heaved into. When I was done I laid back and started feeling really odd and detached. I blacked out for a minute, and when I came to my friend and her boyfriend were holding my head in place and had pulled the pillow out from beneath me. Apparently I had had a small seizure (I have epilepsy) while on the couch, which was REALLY scary to have happen while drunk. When I woke up from the seizure I actually felt more with it, which is strange, and they were able to wrap me up in a blanket and I sat up for a moment. They said they had never seen my face look so white before, and I believed them. I was so cold and just shivering constantly. My stomach ached furiously, and I knew I’d be throwing up again soon. I asked if I could just move to her bathroom and lay there, but they told me they’d rather me stay on the couch in case I had another seizure. They got a trash can ready for me when I felt like throwing up again. In the meantime we watched a show and my friend’s boyfriend ordered some pizza. About 30 minutes later, he left to pick it up, and that’s also when the nausea kicked into overdrive. Even though I had a trash can right next to me, I got up and walked to the bathroom, and my friend followed. Kneeling down, I heaved over the toilet hard. After the third gag I finally brought up a tiny splash of mostly stomach acid at this point. My belly didn’t feel any better afterwards, and my mouth continued to water excessively. My belly caved and I threw up again, another tiny mouthful. My stomach convulsing, I heaved repeatedly after, with tiny splashes of puke hitting the water with each retch until nothing was coming up at all, but my stomach kept clenching anyways. Eventually, the heaves tapered off, and I flushed and leaned back. My friend gave me some water to rinse my mouth out in the sink with and then helped me lay down in her lap for a moment. When I felt ready, she guided me back to the couch and I laid down. After puking, I actually felt a lot better and accepted some water. When her boyfriend returned with food, I even took a few bites of pizza, but it sat heavily in my stomach. I spent the rest of the night in a nauseous, dizzy haze, with my friends taking good care of me. They are the best and I don’t deserve them.
I don’t know why I ended up with alcohol poisoning, because I only had a few drinks, but I think I just haven’t been eating enough lately and hadn’t eaten enough beforehand. It was a super scary experience and I can guarantee I won’t be touching alcohol for a long time.

Hyun-Woo makes his way over to you within a speed that makes you dizzy. You have to close your eyes to avoid the sickness that wants to come over you from both that and your headache. It steadily grows stronger and you wonder if you're getting a migraine.
Hoseok steps out of the way just as your Master appears by your side. He glares at him - a look so vile you're sure Hoseok would be six feet under if Hyun-Woo had the ability to do so.
He takes in your appearance before placing a gentle hand on your shoulder. "Are you alright?"
You give a pained hum. "Headache."
Hyun-Woo looks at Hoseok accusingly. "What did you do to her?"
The latter's brows shoot up to the top of his forehead. "Me? I found her like this."
The lie doesn't pass you but you're in too much pain to care. You can feel the pain start to spill into the back of your right eye.
You doubt Hyun-Woo believes Hoseok for a minute but he sets his sights on you instead. His other hand comes to rest against your cheek where he thumbs the skin of your face. He leans his head down so that he's level with your own as you try to curl into yourself.
"Tell me what's wrong, dove?"
You squeeze your eyes shut at his voice so close to you. A pang of pain shoots through your skull at the sound of it.
"Bad headache. Think it's a migraine," you say in a pained voice.
Talking makes you nauseous and it's from there you confirm that yes, it has to be a migraine for sure. It's been years since you last felt like this and it's disappointing that you're feeling this way again.
Hyun-Woo tsks as he stands to his full height so he can curl you into his arms. You lean your forehead against his chest with a sigh. He sighs to himself as he begins to rub your back in a soothing manner. You push against him because you want him to stop. Even though it feels nice you just want to lie down and you voice that out loud.
"I'll take you back to your room then." Hyun-Woo offers.
You shake your head. "It's okay I can go by myself."
He mirrors you by shaking his own head. "No you're not going alone. Let's go."
He wraps an arm around your shoulders, shielding you from Hoseok's view who calls out to you. "I hope you feel better, Y/N." You want to respond but all you can muster up is a hum.
Hyun-Woo leads you off into the direction of your room. You both passing through into the downstairs west wing and over to the steps and up. Your nose feels watery and you go to wipe it. You stare at the side of your hand to make sure it isn't blood and thankfully there's nothing. The pain behind your eye is sharp and throbs. It pushes against the back and it feels like a knife trying to slice through. You moan in pain and it causes Hyun-Woo's grip on you to grow tighter.
"We're almost there," he says and you look up to see that he's right.
Your nose keeps watering and you just want to lie down. The both of you reach your door where you open it and head straight for bed. Hyun-Woo tries to grab the back of your blazer but you slip from his fingers as you collapse.
"Let's get you in your pajamas, Y/N. I want you comfortable," he says as he turns on your light.
You groan.
He manages to sit you up with little resistance on your part and goes to unbutton your blazer but you stop him. He huffs as he puts his hands on his hips.
"Come on, dove."
You shake your head but instantly regret it. "I got it. You can go."
Hyun-Woo bites his lip - worry coating the features that make up his face. "Promise me?"
You nod. There is a pause before you speak. You feel bad and you feel like you have to let him know as you close your eyes. "I'm sorry."
He kneels down before you with his hands on your knees. "For what?"
"For bailing on you. I was supposed to wait on you for tonight's dinner and I'm s-"
Hyun-Woo presses a finger to your lips silencing you. He leans his head down level with yours as his hand splays out across your cheek. "Look at me."
Your eyes open albeit painfully. You look in his eyes and see sincerity.
"You have nothing to apologize for. What matters most to me right now is that you get better."
You shake your head. "But what about you. Who's going to do my job?"
He shushes you as your voice begins to raise despite the pain you feel.
"There's plenty more who can do the job. For now I want you resting. So please change your clothes and lie down. I'll handle the rest."
You nod your head and he smiles.
Hyun-Woo leans over as he places a kiss on your forehead. It's long and filled with meaning you don't feel like deciphering. As he pulls back he gives you one last smile before he stands up to leave.
"I mean it, Y/N. Change your clothes."
"I will," you grunt.
He turns and leaves, silently closing the door behind him. You're left alone and despite wanting to just lie down you listen to Hyun-Woo and get undressed. Your movements are slow as you don't want to move your head much. By the time you're dressed in your pajamas you feel exhausted.
You go over to turn off your light and wade around in the dark back to your bed. Your head lies down gently on the pillow and you revel in the fact that you can finally relax. You have nothing to take to ease the migraine but at least your curtains are still closed since last night and your light is off. It's the little things.
You sigh as you try and settle your thoughts. It can't be helped but you wish your brain would shut off if for a moment. It feels loud in the otherwise quiet atmosphere and it settles on thoughts you know you should listen to.
What even happened back there with Hoseok? He wanted you to kiss him and you did. You just did and you don't know why. It was like a sudden need to do so and you had to have it. Though at some point you felt like you were coming to your senses but even then something happened to you when your tongues touched. You felt a warmth take over you. Like fire scorching your skin but in a good way. Your brain was buzzing as a high took over you. It felt like heaven and hell intermixed. You were neither here nor there. It was just you, Hoseok and this divine energy. So divine that you almost want to kiss him again.
You pause.
Of course you did but you shouldn't. Did Hoseok slip you something without you noticing? It had to be. There was no other way to explain it, but why would he do that? Why would he do that to you? Did he know you were going to say no to him about the relationship thing? Did he plan to drug you to convince you otherwise?
Your body begins to shake as a cold sweat takes over you. It's wild to suddenly feel this way after such a beatific kiss. You're sure he slipped you something and you mean to confront him once given the chance. A part of you feels distrustful. Betrayed even but another part of you wants him. You want to feel that high again. He gave you something wonderful and it was snatched from you the moment you stopped kissing. You want to know more about this and take back that feeling once again. For now though you curl in on yourself and try to fall asleep.
You'll find Hoseok once you feel better and confront him. You have to no matter what.
✞✞✞✞✞✞✞✞✞✞✞✞✞✞✞✞
You slowly awaken to darkness around you. Your senses coming to you one by one. The first thing you notice is the drool still seeping out of your mouth and you close it to stop it. You wipe your lips and sit up in bed noting that your migraine has passed. You sigh in relief.
The cold sweat and chills you once felt feel like a distant memory and your eye no longer throbs in pain. It's as if what happened to you never happened.
What happened to you again? Ah yes, Hoseok. It was his doing for whatever reason.
You look down at your watch and see it's 11:19 PM. Your lips part in quiet shock. You slept for so long! So much of the day has already passed and now you're wide awake.
You shake your head as your body begins to itch. You feel antsy and just want to get up and move. The first thing you do is get up to turn on the light and you're happy to note that the sudden change in lighting doesn't bother you. The next thing you do is grab your stuff to shower because you sweated while sleeping and you feel gross. You grab your caddy with your products and fresh pajamas and head out to the showers.
There isn't much going on in the halls and so you aren't surprised when there's no one in the showers. You take the time to get ready and enjoy the way the water splashes on you when you step in. It's as you're washing your face do you feel a presence. You hurriedly wash the soap off and blink a few times before looking out of the stall. No one is there. It's just you but you feel unnerved. The same feeling from earlier returning to you tenfold. It only stopped when Hoseok stepped in. The same Hoseok you're hoping to find to speak to.
You quickly wash up before getting dressed. Your shorts and big t-shirt all you adorn along with your slippers. You slip out of the bathroom and head back towards your room. When you get there you are surprised to see your door open. You creep up closer until you find Hyun-Woo standing in your room, hands on his hips. He turns to face you before you even have the chance to announce yourself. A look of relief crosses his features before a small smile takes over.
"I was wondering where you went."
You follow his eyes that look down at your caddy you hold. You look back up and give him a smile.
"Yeah I needed to wash up. I kind of sweated while sleeping."
He nods his head in understanding.
You walk into your room and the close the door behind you before putting your stuff away. Your pajamas you previously had on are thrown into the hamper. Turning around you watch the way Hyun-Woo stands there staring at you. Forever an unreadable expression on his face when it comes to you.
You raise your hand to scratch at your face. "So," you pause. "You wanted to see me?"
He nods. "I wanted to see how you were feeling and I brought something for you to eat."
Your brows raise to the top of your forehead. Looking over to your desk you see there's a tray of food. You're surprised to see he brought you something but at the same time embarrassed about it.
"You didn't have to," you start but he begins to interrupt you.
"I didn't but I wanted to. After sleeping most of the day away I'm sure you've woken up hungry."
You look over to the desk again and see he brought a hearty bowl of kimchi jjigae with what seems to be a side of sweet rice cake with red bean paste filling as a dessert. You're drink is in a mug and you have to come and lean over to see it's filled with a beige colored drink topped with pieces of rice.
"Sikhye?" you ask.
"Yeah," he nods as he steps closer. "It's been really hot this Summer so it's about time you humans have something to cool off with."
You smile in response. He's right. It's been ridiculously hot, especially today. You repeat the same thought as earlier and are happy that you didn't need to go outside for anything after completing garden work for the past two days.
Hyun-Woo hums in the silence as he thinks to himself. The sound brings your attention to him and he looks perturbed. You frown at the sight and ask him if he was okay.
"Huh? Oh I just," he shakes his head with a tsk leaving from his lips. "Earlier you were out of it and it really concerned me. And" he visibly starts to grow agitated. "And you were with him."
You sigh and decide to lie to avoid any suspicions. "We only bumped into each other. It was nothing."
"Don't lie to me, Y/N," he snaps.
You're taken aback by his sudden burst of anger. Your brows furrow but it's not in anger but slight concern. Being met with your Master's ire is not what you expected for the night.
"You keep saying you bumped into him but I know him and I know you. You're going behind my back to meet him."
Behind his back? You hate to admit it but you are doing the very thing he's accusing you of. You want to say something anything to say otherwise but no words come to you at the moment.
"Why are you doing this to me?"
You frown at this. Why did he sound like you were betraying him? You weren't. You were just talking to someone who was harmless for the most part. At least until he did what he did to you. Besides that, it has nothing to do with Hyun-Woo. Never has been. You wish to voice this but you're afraid of the backlash you might receive.
Hyun-Woo walks over until he's directly before you.
"Why won't you say something? Did he say something to you? Trying to convince you to sneak off and meet him? Tell me, did he do something to you earlier? And don't lie to me. I'm not up for games, Y/N."
Your frown mars your face as you shake your head. "It's nothing like that. Please trust me on this, Master. They were innocent meetups, I promise you that."
He stares long and hard like he doesn't believe you. "And what of the other thing? You didn't answer all of my questions."
You freeze for a moment as you think. Yes, you actually believe Hoseok did something to you. What exactly you're not sure. You just know he had to have slipped you something. Something that you seem to crave now.
You have to swallow hard to get your throat to moisten up. Should you tell him the truth about it? You were scared of what he might do to prevent Hoseok from ever seeing you again. From you ever feeling whatever that was again.
You part your lips. "No," you start. "No, he didn't do anything to me. On my life I swear on that."
Your heart accelerates by the slightest but it's nothing too bad. You know Hyun-Woo picks up on it but the look on his face doesn't show any more anger. Just small disbelief that turns into nothing more than an awkward nod as he says "Okay."
"Okay?" you ask back calmly. You want him to agree with you that you weren't lying. That everything was okay.
He nods again more assured. "Okay. I believe you. For now."
You sigh but you know it's the best you can get out of him.
You stand about awkwardly as the tension still permeates the air around you. It's not as bad but you feel weird in Hyun-Woo's presence. He doesn't say anything more as he looks off into the distance. He looks tired and the dark circles under his eyes are more prominent. You watch him as he scratches his forehead before sighing and looking at you.
"You should eat," he says as he gives the tray of food a quick look. "Before it gets cold."
You can only nod in response.
Hyun-Woo approaches you slowly until he's right there before you. His arms come up to wrap around you and you let him. He comforts himself as only one of your arms comes to wrap around him. He takes it and sighs deeply in your half embrace. Pulling back, he gives you a small smile that barely reaches his eyes before stepping away and out of your room. The door softly closing behind him.
You sigh in the silence. Of all things to expect after waking up post migraine an interrogation was not it. Hyun-Woo seemed really hurt by the idea of you sneaking off to see Hoseok. You hate that fact and if it weren't because you needed to speak to the man again after what he did to you, for Hyun-Woo's sake, you wouldn't meet him again. But your story with Hoseok is far from over. If anything, it was just beginning.
You walk over to your desk and take in the food. It's delicious. You enjoy it but not to the fullest after such a conversation.
When did you get so good at lying? When did you start lying at all? Keeping your heart beat and breathing pattern as still and calm as possible so your Master wouldn't assume the worst. But he has an idea. Doesn't mean you didn't do your best to keep him from suspecting much else.
After finishing the food and some of the dessert you take in the drink. It's soothing and for a moment you forget about all of your problems. It's just you, your drink and silent thoughts. You zone out for what feels like minutes before you snap back to reality. Looking down you see you've nearly finished your drink but you couldn't handle another sip. What you needed to do now was take the dishes back to the kitchen and find Hoseok. Find the vampire who damned you.
You get up with the tray and walk out into the halls. You wish you can say the quietness of it all is comforting to you but not tonight. You're on a mission and it's keeping you wired up.
As you make your way downstairs you swear you see Hoseok just around the banister. You blink once and the image is gone. You frown. It's like your mind is running wild with thoughts of him because you swear he's haunting you. Your hairs standing on end as you feel like you're being watched once again.
You huff as you make it into the kitchen and see a servant washing the last of some dishes. He turns at the sound of you entering and seems to deflate a little as he catches sight of your tray.
"I'm sorry," you say. "I can do the the rest of the dishes if you'd like."
He shakes his head. "It's okay. You can hand it over. I'll take care of it."
You give a soft smile as he takes the tray from you. It's when you go do you swear you see Hoseok again. This time in the downstairs east wing towards the sliding door that leads out to the garden. But just as before, you blink and he's gone.
Your brows furrow in irritation and now you know it's time to find him. You go to head upstairs and figure out where he might be. You doubt the gardens. If felt too obvious. He told you he peruses through the library at times so it's the first place you go.
The air is still and silent and as far as you can see only two people are here. A maid dusting the shelves and Lord Seokjin.
You pause.
You think about approaching him about his brother but you don't want to come off rude. He's sat at a table with a thick book - lost in the world he reads from. You bite your lip and worry your hands between each other as you debate your next step.
Now you wonder if he would tell anyone else of you approaching him in regards to Hoseok. If word gets out to Hyun-Woo... You shake your head. Don't think about it.
Before you can come up with a decision to make Seokjin looks up from his book as if sensing your presence. You assume so as he's a vampire with exceptional senses. Your heart is caught in your throat as he gives a small smile your way. Your eyes are locked and neither of you can look away. His brow raises in question and it's then you make a decision.
You slowly approach Seokjin and give a bow.
He nods his head in acknowledgement. "Can I help you?" His words are soft in the quiet library.
You stand upright and rub your hands together in nervousness. You're before a Lord you have barely spoken to. The brother of Hoseok and another man you're sure Hyun-Woo would be jealous of. You bite your lip before giving an almost quiet "My Lord."
His brow remains raised in question as he patiently waits until you speak some more.
How do you do this? Ask him about Hoseok now or start a conversation first? Would he even engage? Would he sigh in irritation before telling you to leave him alone? So many questions flit through your head and still you're stood here like a fool.
You open and close your mouth a few times like a fish out of water before you settle on something.
"How are you tonight, my Lord?"
Seokjin's raised brows lowers as his face softens into something pleasant. "I'm fine, thank you. How is yours..." He trails off as he tries to recall your name.
"Y/N, my Lord."
"Y/N." He smiles. "A beautiful name for a beautiful woman."
You blush at the compliment as you weren't expecting it.
He continues. "What brings you hear tonight? I heard you weren't feeling well. I assume you're doing better?"
Your eyes widen by the slightest fraction before returning to normal. "I'm doing a lot better now." You smile. "Who told you that if I may ask?"
There's a mischievous glint to Seokjin's eyes before he smiles something along the lines of a Cheshire grin. "My brother did." He stops for a moment to watch your reaction before continuing. "He has quite the interest in you if I do say so myself." He rests his elbow on the table before resting his chin onto a balled up fist.
He looks interested in you. Interested in a sense that he wants to known more about the girl who caught his brother's attention.
You bite your lip in response before clearing your throat. "Uh, yes. About that." It was now or never. "Have you seen your brother? I-I wanted to... to thank him. To thank him for finding me when I grew ill. I don't know what would have happened had I not been with someone."
That lie was a mouthful. You can't believe you're lying again but here you are. You swallow deeply and your heart skips a beat and you know Seokjin can hear it if his sickeningly sweet smile has anything to say about it.
He doesn't answer at first. Only staring at you like he's waiting for something else. What it is you're not sure but he soon relents his information.
"I think he might be in his room. He said he felt a bit tired despite starting the day just fine. He must have spent too much time in the garden. You know within that dreadful heat." He shrugs his shoulders nonchalantly.
You nod your head as you take in the information. "Would it be wrong for me to see him?" Your question is desperate and Seokjin can hear it. You're sure because a certain type of look catches on his face.
"Hm," he hums. "I don't think so. I'm sure he wouldn't mind."
You nod again with your heart beat accelerating by just the slightest bit.
"I wonder though." Seokjin speaks his thought out loud. "What has you interested in my brother? Surely there's a reason why."
Your face drops and for a moment your mind goes blank. You don't know what to say and it shows on your face. You're trying hard to think of a lie but now you have grown nervous.
There's no way you can tell him what happened. You have no idea how he might react and you want to avoid him possibly telling your Masters about it.
Your spit grows thick and it's hard to swallow. You curse yourself for staying silent for so long but you were caught off guard. It's then you hear an endearing laugh come from Lord Seokjin. His shoulders shake as he laughs before clapping his hands once.
"You should see your face, dear Y/N. I didn't mean to shock you if that's how you're feeling. I'm just interested is all." He sits up straighter in his seat. "I'm just interested to know more about the woman who has my brother smitten."
Your hands worry between each other before you give an awkward laugh. "Forgive me, my Lord. I was caught off guard but nothing more. I uh, I'm no one really. I don't know why your brother feels the way he does but I assure you what we have is nothing serious."
"Then what's the reason behind you wanting to meet my brother?" He smiles that Cheshire smile again. "Forgive me but I'm partial to gossip."
Now you know you have to be really careful with what you say. If anything, you regret coming to him now knowing he enjoys gossip. He can easily sell you out about how you came looking for Hoseok. You kind of hate yourself now but how could you have known? You sigh before trying to come up with something to say.
"I just wanted to thank him is all."
Seokjin smiles. "You must think me stupid, Y/N."
Your face drops.
"I'm not one for lies as I find them to be quite displeasing to deal with." He frowns before smiling again. "So I ask again what is it you want with my brother?"
You sigh as worry coats your features. Your nails dig deep into your palms as you hold your hands into fists. You try to regulate your breathing as well as your heart beat. It's not going well and it's making you more nervous. It's as you are about to cave in does the door to the library swing open and a hushed but excited "Hyung, hyung!" comes from Lord Jungkook himself.
You're shocked to see such a new attitude from him. He looks youthful this way with his doe eyes glistening beneath the chandelier lights.
He approaches the table and when he realizes then that Seokjin is not alone, his reaction changes. It's back to that cold indifference and his brother can't help but chuckle at the switch.
"Y/N."
He recalled your name?
You bow quickly in response. "Lord Jungkook."
He clears his throat and it takes you a moment before you realize he wishes to speak to his brother alone. You give a soft "sorry" before bowing.
"I'll see myself out."
Jungkook doesn't respond but Seokjin smirks.
"I guess you will. See you around, Y/N."
You can only give an awkward smile before bowing one more time and leaving.
You felt hot around the collar of your shirt and have to pull at the clothing to air yourself out. You're glad to be out of that mess but still worried nonetheless now that you know Seokjin can easily sell you out. You have to devise a plan to avoid that from happening. Maybe if you talk to Hoseok he can convince his brother otherwise. That is if he still wants to deal with you after you interrogate him for what he's done to you.
You still can't believe it. Slipping you something so addictive that has you wanting to seek more of it. Would it be bad? To want more? You shake your head. You couldn't let that desire cloud your mind. In the end, what Hoseok did was bad and you were confronting him for it.
As you reach the east wing you stop short feeling stumped. There were several rooms on this side that only the nobles would use but there was a problem. You don't know which room belongs to Hoseok. You didn't even bother to ask Seokjin because you were too busy fighting for your life back there with him.
You bring a hand up to your head as you begin to worry.
How much of an idiot can you be, you berate yourself. Cursing silently you know there's only one option left to do.
You go up to the first door on your left and knock. Nothing. You go to the one across the hall and knock. Nothing again.
You sigh. You're going to have to try every door until Hoseok opens up his. Your Masters' rooms are a ways down away from where you currently are so you aren't too worried about them except there's the possibility of one of them coming back to or leaving their room. You bite your lip as you continue to each door but with hurried steps this time.
None of the doors open to your incessant knocking and you're starting to wonder if Hoseok is even in his room like Seokjin said.
Maybe he's not here. Maybe he's somewhere else. Your lips purse in thought.
You sigh deeply for what feels like the nth time before you hear a door creak open as you go to knock on another door. You look behind you to see Hoseok standing at his door way - an eyebrow raised in silent question. He watches you as if you were doing something peculiar. You suspect you are with you going door to door knocking away like a mad woman.
He doesn't say anything as he looks at you - one hand on the door he opened and the other against the frame. He has one foot out and the other still in as if he's paused in motion. That raised brow of his slowly falls down in line with the other and he has a neutral look to him. His face belying what he's truly thinking.
Your hand that was raised falls down to your side and you slowly turn in his direction. He looks handsome as always and he's still dressed in his loose sleeved black shirt with his black pleated slacks. His shoes; black chunky loafers. Dashing as always and you feel like your breath is being taken away the longer you stare at him, but for what reason specifically you have no idea. No, you do. It's because of that damned drug of his.
You can feel it calling to you. Calling to you from Hoseok's now opened palm that he faces in your direction as a way for you to come over. You can feel yourself slipping like sand between his fingers. Is that what he wants? For you to fall apart before him and onto the floor by his feet? To break apart like a doll one no longer has interest in, but you do know he's interested in you so what's the reason behind this whole issue? Why, you ask yourself as you slowly make your way to him. Why, why, why?
You reach him and look at his hand. The limb still outstretched towards you, waiting for your own to slip onto it. You take the bait and place your own hand on top of his. His fingers automatically wraps around your own like a Venus flytrap that which finally catches their prey.
You let him lead you into his bedroom where he closes the door behind you gently until you hear the click of it shutting. You are lost to the outside world now as you stand before Hoseok in continued silence.
His hand never lets go of yours - his grip strong but not intolerable. He watches the way your tongue peeks out to lick your lips. Your throat feels dry but you moisten it as you swallow deeply. He doesn't smile at you - no expression whatsoever as he waits for you to speak and so you do.
"We need to talk."
Hoseok only nods in response still choosing to remain silent.
Your lips tremble by the slightest bit and you feel his fingers come up to caress the petals that make them up. It's intimate, the touch, and you have to pull away slightly for him to stop. It makes you uncomfortable but you have to say and speak your mind and maybe more.
"What did you do to me?" You go straight for the point but receive no reaction from him. At first you think he'll not say a word at all until his lips part.
"Nothing that you didn't want."
You shake your head softly with your eyes still glued to Hoseok's face. "No. We kissed but it felt forced. Like something was coercing me."
"Again," he starts. "It was nothing you didn't want. I can only do so much without your reciprocation."
You frown, your brows drawing together. You know he's lying but you'll allow him this win as you have more pressing matters to attend to in this conversation.
"And what was the other thing? When we kissed. I felt nothing at first but when our tongues touched something happened."
His brow raises by the slightest bit. "Something?"
You know he knows but he wants you to elaborate.
"Yes, something. Like, I don't know." You pause. "It felt like magic. I was encompassed by something rapturous. My mind felt hazy but there was this feeling that left me feeling high. High off of you and whatever you were doing to me." You stop to take in a deep shaky breath.
You're starting to feel anxious now. Anxiety blooming in your heart the more you speak.
Hoseok watches you and takes in the small worry that passes by across your features. You know he can tell you're feeling anxious and he brings his other hand up to your shoulder to rub it gently. His other hand still encasing your own. He squeezes your shoulder for a second before releasing it to rub at your arm now. Trying to soothe away your anxiety.
He inhales before exhaling deeply. His face still unreadable as he speaks. "Did it make you feel good?"
Your brows draw together as you think on it. Of course it did but why does he need to know? You think of lying to him.
"Yes," you speak the truth instead.
You shake your head in mild confusion. There goes that feeling again. Like something is compelling you. You look Hoseok deeply in his eyes and call out to him.
"Stop it."
"Stop what?"
"Whatever it is you're doing. I know you're doing something to make me agree with whatever you want me to do for you.
"I'm only helping you get the truth of your thoughts and feelings across."
Your frown grows deeper. He was lying, right? Because there was no way you would have kissed him before if it weren't for what he'd done. Then again, was he right? Did you want to kiss him? You keep coming to the answer no but for some reason he's making you second guess yourself.
You feel a gentle finger come up to rub at the crease between your brows. Hoseok eases the skin until it relaxes and you're no longer frowning. The hand comes back to rest on your arm as he waits for you to speak.
You sigh. "I don't know anymore."
There's a gentle squeeze on both your hand and arm.
"I don't know what to feel or think anymore I just know that," you pause. Should you bother speaking up on this. You didn't want to sound crazy but you needed to finish speaking aloud your thoughts. "I just know that feeling was something else. The one from when we kissed. It did feel good. I felt good. Like I was rising above heaven onto a higher plane. Something bigger and greater than god was holding me and I didn't want it to stop, but then it did and my head felt like it was being torn apart." You shake your head. "What even was that?"
Hoseok says nothing at first and for once now a smile breaks across his face. It's soft and warm. Understanding even.
"What you felt is something only you humans can."
Your brows draw together in confusion. He goes to rub the crease again as he continues to speak.
"A vampires saliva is potent with endorphins. If you ingest it orally you'll experience that high you mentioned."
Your lips part in silent surprise. "Does it affect you at all?"
He shakes his head. "No. Nor does it affect us if we ingest another vampire's saliva. It's only something humans can feel."
So the saliva of a vampire could not only heal wounds but if ingested, as he said, orally it could send you to cloud nine essentially. You wouldn't have believed him if it weren't for the fact that you experienced it.
Another question comes to the forefront of your mind.
"If it's so great at making one high then why did I crash so hard? I ended up with a migraine and chills. What was that about?"
"You were experiencing withdrawal. The first few times you ingest the saliva it's hard when you get off of it. There are immediate headaches and shakes. Some experience vomiting and all have the need for more of that rush."
Your lips purse in silent thought. Now that you received your answer you feel angry. How could he do this to you? He wasn't wrong about the need for more. It's part of the reason why you're here. You weren't just going to interrogate him but you felt the need for more of what he gave you. It made you feel scared.
That feeling of anxiety from before is starting to come back. Your breaths are shallow and quick. You don't notice your grip on Hoseok's hand grows tighter each second and you can feel an attack incoming fast and hard.
Hoseok shushes you softly. "Deep breath in and out. Follow me."
You look into his eyes as you feel a rush of cool air across your face. You watch him breathe in deeply before exhaling cool air across your features. Following his steps, you inhale long and deep before exhaling it out. The two of you do this together for a while before he orders you to close your eyes. His hand reaches for your other hand and he holds them both in his grip.
"Close your eyes and relax. I'm here for you. I'm here." His words are soft and oddly comforting despite the position you'd been put in.
Your eyes are closed and you take in the environment around you. The silence save for your deep breathing. You feel his grip grow tighter on your hands and you use that to anchor yourself.
That feeling of flight that was beginning to settle in with your anxiety is no longer there. You're grateful for it but you're too afraid to open your eyes. Afraid that if you do you'll start to feel the anxiety again as you stand before Hoseok. You contine to breathe deeply before you feel Hoseok's presence lean further into your space. His forehead rests upon yours and it forces your eyes open.
You're happy to know the anxiety is no longer there but you're not out of the woodworks yet. Hoseok stares into your eyes and you start feeling relaxed. It's weird and confusing for you and it takes you a second to realize he's doing that thing again.
"Stop doing that," you scold.
"Not until you're fully relaxed."
Your nostrils flare as you grit your teeth. It's hard to come out of it so you let whatever it is push you into submission as you listen to his words. You relax before him and he can tell with the way your eyes grow half-lidded.
"Good girl," he praises. "You're doing so good for me." His face leans just the slightest bit so you can feel his lips ghost across yours. "You're doing good. Keep breathing."
You breathe in and out, in and out and now you feel calm. Your breathing regulates and you're no longer squeezing his hands. He's no longer squeezing yours either but he doesn't let go.
"I can help you, you know," he says.
"What?"
He licks his lips and the action forces his tongue to touch your own lips. They seem to throb from the feeling of his saliva coating them. It forces you to stick your own tongue out to lick your lips and there's a slight tingle in the back of your head, but it's not enough.
"If I kiss you again you'll feel better. All of your troubles and worries will be a thing of the past. Even if it's just for a moment. You want that, right? That's why you came here in the first place?"
He's right but you're not about to admit that out loud to him. Instead, you stay quiet and allow him to talk more.
"I know that's why you're here. I don't care if you need me just to use me. To know you need this is enough for me. You can have it. You can have me and take what you want. Just stay. That's all I ask and I'll give you what you want." His words leave him in a hushed whisper.
Everything he said sounds so enticing and if it weren't because you knew this was wrong you would fall for it. It doesn't stop you from wanting to fall for it because would it be so bad if you had what you wanted? He was willing and though you know it's wrong you feel yourself slipping. You feel yourself not caring. Despite knowing deep down what you're currently feeling is also his doing you just. Don't. Care.
Before he has anything else to say, through your forced submission, you lean up into his lips and kiss him. He reacts instantaneously and opens his mouth for you. Your tongues meet immediately and that feeling is quick to rush through your body again. Hoseok let's go of your hands to cradle your face as he deepens the kiss and then... you're gone.
