I saw your post about the hero of auras!! And why he’s called that. If you don’t mind elaborating on him a bit more?

You said something about him using his spirit to push out the evil (auras??) that were starting to corrupt the people? How did he find out he could do that? Was it a folklore based thing or was it a “…well shit”

I would never mind elaborating

in fact, I love elaborating actually

me onw to dump so much info about him onto you

1. Why he's called that:

so he's called the hero of Aura's because of his special hero power (ex. time and his masks, wind and his wind).

he has the power to see and manipulate the auras of others.

(Also an aura is basically the person's spirit!)

For example, let's say that he's being overcharged for an item (lmao), he would be able to go into the shopkeeper's aura and play with the different emotions/consciousness in there to sort of tug on heartstrings for them to lower the price.

However, he can not make someone do something that they wouldn't do. he can only push someone to do something that they have already been considering!

2. How he uses his own aura

so his aura is very (god how do I describe it)

smothering/dominating

in like an unsettling way

like you can tell he's here to help but god that (his aura when it is in use) feels so awful

it's like the aura of an animal always on edge

His aura is so powerful that it can actually manifest enough for normal hylians to see it and for it to be corporeal

when uncorrupting people, he sort of works like a purifier

he takes in the bad stuff and breathes out the good stuff!

like a tree!

and yes it does kinda burn for him to take in the bad stuff

considering he's been blessed by Hylia and is technically some sort of holy creature

but eh

3. How he found out he could uncorrupt people with his aura:

it was actually during the beginning of his adventure

like the beginning beginning

like he didn't even know he was the chosen hero beginning

it was when he was on his way to the church of Hylia with his family

when he was inside he was going to pray like usual when he was accidentally pushed into the statue by his little siblings

this contact with the holy statue was the catalyst for the beginning of his adventure

Hylia spoke with him when he touched the statue and he couldn't really hear her at all (imagine gods talking to you but they lowkey sound like they're underwater)

anyways when she stopped he was just kinda like what

and nothing happened at first

but throughout the day he started to see little mist-like tendrils coming out of people

like they were covering the people's eyes, ears, and mouths

and all the mist was the same color, a dark and murky red mixed with black and a sickly shade of plum purple

and to skip a lot of not-really-important stuff about him freaking out

all the villages then turn on him and try to sacrifice him to Ganon 🤗

and of course, he starts freaking out like his entire circle of family and friends just started actively trying to kill him

and that's when it activates (like at the moment he's about to be killed by his older brother)

he basically does a mega-purification on his brother who stops and just kind of looks at him before the other villagers start attacking him instead

and as his brother is being like mobbed, he looks to Auras and tells him to run

and that's the last time he saw his brother

and the game (if he had one) begins with him in a forest after he just ran away from the village

so it was more off a 'what the fuck' moment, instead of a 'well shit' moment

Fun facts!

Hylia was actually trying to tell him that this would happen if he didn't leave the village and she was the one who gave him his Aura powers

and the reason he didn't hear her is because of how close he was to his family who were already corrupted (like one of his siblings was holding him while she was tryna tell him and this fucked up the connection lmao)

chocolate makes him sick!

he's adopted! and the family taking care of him are very very very very VERY distant descendants of Time and Malon!

20. What-ifs/Alternate Timelines

This one’s fun bc I actually have a list of AU versions of Isa the bunker and I have made up!

AUs:

In our Hero AU, she’s a tough-as-nails little orphaned girl who’s looked after by an ex-nurse from a facility that cloned the ego boys from Jack to train them as military weapons. (Loooots of plot I’m barely scraping there xD)

In our God AU, she’s a demigod descended from Henrik, God of Healing. She was actually unaware of this until she turned 18 :0

In our Sci-Fi AU, she’s a part of the resistance against an overly powerful group of stupidly rich and selfish high class people in power.

In our Steampunk AU, she hasn’t been introduced yet, but she’ll likely be some kind of inventor along with one or two other thing maybe. Gotta flesh this AU out more.

In our SEApunk AU, she’s a half-merperson lowkey noble notorious for exploring the underwater parts of the city she lives in.

In our Hogwarts AU, she’s a proud, trouble-making Gryffindor. xD

What Ifs:

If she’d never left Anti, he would’ve gained an even bigger upper hand in the war and her entire family and friends would’ve died, all five egos would be strung up by Anti, and she’d eventually be captured and killed by the ONW Resistance.

If the war had never been a thing, she would be in college studying to be some kind of artist or writer.

If she’d gotten re-corrupted by Anti, she’d likely infiltrate her home Community and destroy everyone and everything only to be mercy killed by Henrik.

If she’d never gotten Henrik as a stepfather, she’d still be extremely wary of adult men and super possessive of her mom.

I’m likely missing some what-ifs here but we’ve come up with a lot of them. :D

thriller: nostalgic, but not in a bad way. may forget about the future sometimes, though. like acoustic covers of things. probably collect something: concert tickets, different cigarettes, pressed flowers. want to be with someone forever, till death do them part.

take over: know a good rhythm when they hear one. favorite character from romeo + juliet is mercutio: all that "star-crossed lovers" shit was too sappy, anyways. like hickeys. may be sad, but they still know how to have a good time.

this ain't a scene: like a good summer bop, especially when played in a car with the top down. taps their feet to the beat. charismatic. their tongue gets them in trouble sometimes, but they're fun to be around.

im like a lawyer: don't give a fuck in the purest, happiest way: positive nihilism. have had their fair share of relationships, so they know what they want. like harmless pranks. probably gonna be a weed grandpa someday.

hum hallelujah: miss something they never really had. their thoughts repeat themselves like song lyrics that get stuck in your head. sometimes so lonely they feel numb. at the core of their being, they're very caring and sweet.

golden: sad, dramatic shit. probably a daydreamer in grade school and/or a theater kid in high school. think people make fun of past decades too much sometimes. fall in love slowly, deeply, with both people and things.

thnks fr th mmrs: either just a lowkey fob stan or really, unapologetically love this song. probably listen to today's Top 40. strong and resilient. believe their teenage years were crucially formative for their current self.

don't you know?: translate most of their sadness into anger. don't mind drinking alone: that's when they think best. don't smile often in public, but when they do, it's brilliant. somewhat soft hearted.

after life: dreamy, romantic, fall into infatuation easily. prefer slow dancing and like star gazing. close to getting through most of the hard shit in their life.

carpal tunnel: love words, and have probably dabbled in writing before. badass. if they were a mythical creature, they'd be one of the voices from the lost boys. like those regional gothic memes.

bang the doldrums: will def have at least one one-night-stand in their lifetime. make bad decisions sometimes, but they know how to live with them. like messy hair. want to live in the city just so they can run down the streets at night.

fame infamy: clever, cheeky shit and smooth as fuck. have a cute smile, but won't admit it no matter what, through thick or thin. like neon lights and rain on windowpanes.

you're crashing: think before they speak, but when they do, it's like all hell's broken loose. not a cynic, even if they act like onw: they still want the world to be a better place. a top. probably secretly kinky.

ive got all this ringing: party drunk. prefer sunsets to sunrises. when they think about the past, they always think about what might've been. like it when female singers have smooth, smoky voices. neutral alignment.

ginasfs: take polaroids. like starry night by van gogh. forget their chapstick a lot, so their lips are often cracked. like wearing oversized sweaters. not fully over their exes.

July 13, 2019 we actually first met i mean talk thru omegle. Usually pag bored ako, omegle agad ang itatype ko. While we are talking, napansin ko na ang gaan ng pakiramdam ko, comfortable, di bastos *usually kasi horny lagi*, masaya kakwentuhan hanggang sa almost 2 or 3 hrs na kami magkausap hahahahahahah we exchanged numbers baka kasi mag dc bigla lol in my entire life in omegle, yun nga pinakamahabang convo sa nakausap ko eh hahahahaha until July 14 around 3am tumawag siya and btw he is from baguio and that time nasa labas siya kasi walang signal sa loob ng bahay nila kundi smart lang and i feel so special jokkkeee hahahahaha nabanggit lang niya na sayang yung load 😂 we talk for almost 3 hrs ata hahahahaha tapos nag stop na kasi nagchichill na siya maygad hahahahahaha. After several days, cut na ng communication. Akala ko nga dun na nagtatapos yun eh hahahahah kasi wala naman ako talagang interes sa kanya. After 1 month ata not so sure pero parang ganun, we became close. Landian lang talaga pakay ko hahahahaah pero di natuloy whahahaha jk medyo lowkey natuloy. Naging consistent, halos every midnyt tatawag tapos every morning, magkatext oras oras hayyy good old days :(( hanggang sa mawala yung promo na AOC20 ng smart hmp dun talaga nag start yon hahahahaha yung smart sim ko nga kay kuya pa yun eh. Every nyt consistent pa rin magkatext and then usually chat na lang ata like ilang mins na lang mag aaway everyday ganun kasi lagi niya hinahanap sa akun friend ko which i find it so annoying like holysht he's aware naman na u know tas ganun diba tangina pero we dont have sht in life naman and i understand it haha ganun na rin naging routine namin until April or May ata tas may mga times na 1 week wala ng reply kasi sawa na ko as in like shet if someone might read our convo, sasabihin paulit ulit na lang and the sht is real tbh. Until one day, naging aloof ako kasi nga diba issue ko talaga is naaasar na ako talaga kasi hindi naman ako human directory for him to ask where is my friend pucha i told him na itext niya or tawagan tangina diba nakakaumay nakakasawa nakakaasar kasi u r the onw who is der pero iba hinahanap hello someone dumped me for so many times already ahhcnsjshahzggs i hate it. ONW Nostalgia Week Day 3

Today last year, I think by this time, I joined the best fucking clusterfuck of idiots online I have ever met after one hell of a nightmare stream the night and day before.

I know you guys might not see this because you’re participating in the protest or just unable to access Tumblr atm for various reasons, but--

We’ve somehow surprisingly gone through a lot of members in one year and have all had our fair share of hardships both personally and as a group, but even with some of those nightmares in mind, you guys are still some of the most cooperative, creative motherfuckers I’ve ever crossed paths with in my 6 years of roleplaying, character creating, and world building.

I don’t remember what the fuck we were doing this morning last year but I’m pretty sure by now I was in the chat and already nicknamed Isa because literally everyone was like “Oh fuck, Arabelle though” EVEN THOUGH ARABELLE DOESN’T EVEN USE THAT FUCKIN’ NAME LMAO. It doesn’t matter much to me though because I’ve come to love the nickname you guys gave me and honestly I think I go by Isa in all but maybe 2 places online now.

This year I suffered the inevitable end of one of the longest online friendships I had and I think I’ve shared a majority of why that person was so important to me already so I’m not gonna bother rambling about why it was such a devastating thing to me. But even though I was hurting horribly from how toxic the last two years of knowing them was, I had five amazing people to fill that void and in January, two more came to help do that. :’) Thanks to you guys and @deaths-presence for talking me through it all, I was significantly less of a wreck about that friendship finally dying than I was dreading. I really owe you guys for that one but this post isn’t here to make me cry, it’s here to make you cry so get ready for some call-outs you little shits. <3

@decubelli, thanks for being the one I talked to all night before I joined and for remembering to send me an invite in the morning. :’D Also, I know the AU didn’t start the same day I joined the group but shoutout to us for being the first two people to throw drama into the rp, lmao. I know high school has lowkey consumed your life, but we still love you. <3

@a-septic-mind, I think out of everyone in the group, you’ve gotten to know me best for a number of reasons and everybody who exists ever already knows all the fucking tea they could ever want to hear about what a nightmare my dad is, but even though I’ve said it a hundred times already, I’m gonna say it again-- You’ve genuinely felt like a replacement parent in his place both as yourself and in-characters. I don’t know how to thank you for everything you’ve done with or for me in this past year. Also, as is a classic thing to say from child to parent- thanks for putting up with all of my bullshit. xD <3
