How tall is Bay OP compared to the TFP bots & cons?

I just imagine TFP Megs having to look up at Bay OP, scared shitless as Bay OP glares down at him like he just insulted his carrier. Bay OP bitch-slapped a Dinobot (Grimlock) over twice/three times his size like it was nothing, he would destroy TFP Megs.

I was going to sit here and make a joke about how Bay! Optimus was so much shorter than his Counterpart and Megatron in TFP! Because I when I was first researching it I saw he was about 22 feet tall compared to their enormous 30’ and 32’ feet… but then I found sources saying Bay! Was 28’ or that TFP OP was 35…. DOES ANYONE KNOW THEIR CANNONICAL ACTUAL HEIGHTS???? Am I just blind???? Do I not know how to research??? Does anyone have an official chart???

Anyway, Bay! Op IS the goat when it comes to violence no matter what size, but I had such a funny image of him being a smidge taller than bumble and looking UP at Megatron saying those same things and still getting that same reaction. AND THEN Megatron- if he ever found out about his Bay! Counterpart would have to deal with the fact that he had a stint where he went mad in the middle of Africa with transformer organic babies (????) and ended up stranded on earth with little to nothing anyway being hunted down by three different organizations so Dude is pressed to say the least. I feel like Bay! Megatron doesn’t have that same dog in him like TFP Megatron does tbh.

Now, if Bay! Op was taller….. It would be like facing a dark ronin of death leaving a path of destruction in his wake. Yikes.

updated thoughts of the game after a day of playing

ddda is in my top 5 rpgs of all time. and so is dd2 unless they somehow manage to utterly fuck up the story or end game. because holy shit. i love this game so much. this game fits me like a GLOVE. i could barely tear myself away to go to bed .. normally i’m asleep by now …. ahhhhhhh i hope people give it a chance despite all the issues (the dlcs, performance issues for some people) because oh my god.. if you like ddda this game is gonna feel like coming home. like a warm hug. like seeing an old friend for the first time in over a decade

Hi there! 🫶🏼

Okay, so, I just went on Lucas’s route again and - just for you! - participated in Operation Nope so he would break up with me. Here are some screenshots I put together because I think they’ll show why I do think that, yes, he does forgive you.

This is the morning after the party where everyone found out about Lottie’s and Gary’s kiss and about MC’s and Noah’s kiss. He is pretty hurt which just goes to show that he actually developed feelings for MC. (Also, we went all the way in the hideaway and as someone who doesn’t get into bed with just anyone, that’s a huge deal for Lucas!) He’s confused, he doesn’t know what to do but he doesn’t want to push her away just like that either.

My MC went on Jakub’s date and despite him being so hurt by her kissing Noah, he’s still smug about the fact that she didn’t enjoy the date with Jakub. Why would he act like that if he didn’t give a shit?

He breaks up with MC despite her apologising and telling him again that she still wants him. But from his reaction you can see that he’s just doing it to protect himself from getting hurt even more. And it hurts him breaking up with MC, too.

[The next day] Lucas didn’t just “get over it all” nor did he move on just like that. He’s legitimately hurt by what happened and doesn’t know how to behave or how to pretend like everything is fine.

Then there’s the cake-baking challenge they have to do together because they’re still a couple and that’s where it gets interesting. The banter and the sexual tension between them is still there 👀 (I mean, duh, it won’t just disappear overnight)

During the challenge, everything felt so easy and normal with him. It almost felt as if nothing had happened and then MC decided to show Lucas that she could very well eat that whole cake by herself. And it earned her his fave t-shirt, too. And look how he’s treating her, my heart was bleeding! 😭💔

[The disaster recoupling] I seriously think we were always supposed to participate in ON and kiss Noah because otherwise it doesn’t make any sense that Lucas would “meaningfully look at Noah” during the recoupling. He couldn’t care less about Priya, it’s Hope and MC he fancies.

This is what Hope told Priya on the last day of CA before we were to head back to the main villa and I couldn’t help but think, what if she knows something we don’t know? Because she doesn’t say that when it’s Priya who is coupled up with Noah… Also, Priya tells us later she isn’t sure this thing with Lucas has any potential and she’s right about that because in my opinion, Lucas never got over MC. He didn’t even try to!

Especially the line “We haven’t really worked out how we feel about each other yet” hits so differently now that we were apart for a while. And he’s absolutely right because we haven’t worked that out. The both of us were developing feelings for each other but we didn’t get the chance to talk about them because MC fucked up.

And is it just me or does he usually not do the whole “looking around at the other boys and muttering ‘I’m sorry, lads’”? It feels like he’s a bit hesitant here, afraid to give MC another chance but at the same time he can’t fight his own feelings 🥺🥺

[The morning after] Despite having broken up with MC previously, he still feels safe by her side and he still thinks she’s the one he can feel most himself with and that actually makes sense! Because there were feelings involved that never went away. But because he didn’t want to be vulnerable he tried to push them away and shut MC out. Though, it never really worked in the first place, did it? 🥹

I think it’s important for him to see that MC really means it when she says she’s sorry for hurting him. He wants to not only hear that she wants him, he wants to see it too. He wants to see her put in the effort and I reckon that’s why he does forgive us. But I can guarantee it’ll be the last chance because Lucas doesn’t usually give second chances!

Apollo’s literally nice to people, like, Rick tried so hard to make him look like an asshole but everytime he wasn’t overdoing it Apollo naturally came out as polite, even in the first ToA book he was like “hi mrs Jackson🥺”, in his first appearance he was so sweet with mini Nico, he adopted Meg after 10 chapters like plz he’s a nice little dude. just don’t kill his children or scream “APOLLO SUCKS” in his temple and you’ll be fine he doesn’t wanna fight.

idk, man. i guess it’s like sirius—the traits that james has (and what i envision him to be like) kinda just speak to me, yeah? i mean, obv we don’t have a lot of stuff about him, but i fill in a lot of blanks on my own and the rough picture i came up with, i adore. he’s also a character that i can relate to & project on, which is always fun.

it’s also like—if i go to my earliest works, it’s all about james and his friendship with sirius so that dynamic if is what really, truly drew me in. like the j/s relationship (platonic or romantic) has me in a literal chokehold and i think everyone here knows that lol in addition to that, i adore james as a dad and a son & i think he just lends himself to some really good interpersonal interpretations ykno? the centrality i believe he held in the marauders, is another thing.

also like the barebones traits he has—loyalty, protectiveness, moral fortitude, generosity, helpful—i just find him to be a really decent guy lol.

the lily thing—i mean, fair ig. he was kind of an ass in SWM but i personally just don’t believe he was asking her out constantly, ykno? like. it doesn’t fit what i think of him; it doesn’t exactly feel like something a 11-15yo would do; and i’m so sure that this perception of him came from all those jily fics (and even r/s let’s be real) where he’s portrayed as a near stalker bc lily has to be deified and morally superior. i mean, i personally believe most of the fics with james in it have done him a great disservice and entirely ruined his character for the sake of fandom or wtv (but again, it’s a character we never saw alive in real time lol so what leg do i have to stand on anyway)

so that in mind, i’ve personally always hated the lily connotations of his personality and tend to stay away from that.

in general, i’d say, i love the possibility/potential that james has? a bit like sirius, he feels like a larger-than-life character, a little fantastical. and it’s just downright fun plying around with him ykno? there’s also this, element of subversion with him for me. one, how close he is with sirius. (how close i write him to be). him being such a caretaker contrasting w his cool dude jock vibes. being the protective mother hen in jily. being emotional and sensitive and crying and not being ashamed about it. he just. seems like a much deeper character than what we get on the surface *shrugs*
