Family Pack #1

I’m happy to share some sims with you all today! In this post, you’ll find 10 households (40 sims total), each with their own stories and biographies. All of these sims have additional Everyday outfits, skills, bonus traits, Likes and Dislikes, sexual orientations, pronouns, family dynamics, and Lifestyles. Kyle

Andrea was just a small investigative reporter looking for her big break when she met Ramon. She was able to sit him down for an interview on a case they were both interested in and the natural chemistry they had was just too hard to ignore. Andrea worked up the courage to say yes after his many advances and they eventually fell in love, got married, and had a baby girl. Even though she’ll always be daddy’s little girl, Teresa wants to be a rebel and escape the eye of her watchdog of a father.

Dorval

The Dorvals have made names for themselves beyond the limits of their small town. Redick is a master of the fantasy genre, able to bring to life his readers wildest dreams with unmatched skill; young Jill is his biggest fan. Maisie admires her fathers’ talent and hopes to become a prodigy in her own right in the world of theatre. Rosalie made her family values integral to her political campaign and keeps everyone in line while Lucien, the eldest, takes nothing seriously aside from his music.

Browne-Morris

Howard met Romeo while married to Jackie and knew that things with her wouldn’t last. He still had a son with her and Jackie vowed to make sure Kendrick would always know love. Years later, the men have their own family and now that Kendrick is a teen, Jackie wants to follow her dreams and become a massage therapist. Howard hopes his firstborn will be a great big brother to Erick, though Kendrick is still uncomfortable being around them. Meanwhile, Romeo wants to be his husbands’ first priority.

Gallagher

Products of two powerful families, the union of Wallace and Morgana was never in doubt. Though the guidance counselor grew to love her husband over time, she can’t help but feel him pulling away. Bridgette, the eldest child, chose the humble path of a drama teacher, hoping to move out of her parents’ soon. Though she’s saving money on rent, she doesn’t know how much longer she can stand her siblings (perky Madeline and antisocial Kit) whilst also witnessing her parents’ crumbling marriage.

Jordan-Salazar

Malcolm and Gianna are fully aware of the perceptions surrounding their relationship. A wealthy businessman worth millions ending up with a reality TV star? People are bound to talk, but the couple couldn't care less! The twins Chloe and Connor, still reeling from their parents’ divorce, are having a hard time accepting this new mother-in-law. And with a new addition to the family, Chloe is afraid of no longer being her fathers' favorite while Connor is worried about his inheritance.

Coleman

Dhalia is a defense attorney who fell deeply in love with a client. Lance has been working hard to mend his troubled past ever since. However, with a criminal record and no high school degree, he was only able to get low wage work. He hopes to one day feel worthy of his loving wife and pull his own weight in their marriage by using the skills he learned in prison to become a crafter. Their daughter Shauna has inherited her mother's intelligence and grit, but also her father's love for danger.

Waldorf

Free from a confining marriage, wealthy playboy Myles Waldorf was thriving after his divorce. Extravagant parties and a string of nameless lovers were his norm. He never assumed that in keeping everything from the settlement, he would soon become the primary caregiver for his teenage daughter Charlotte. She shares her fathers’ sense of self-importance, but bemoans his reckless behavior and wants to make a name for herself, unattached to Myles’ (of course, she’ll gladly take his money to do so)!

Castillo

As a creative person, Ruben is quick to recognize and appreciate artistic value in others. So, when the lovely Camilla won him over with her baked goods, he knew he knew he had to have her! Being a pastry chef, socialite, and a mother of two are all facets of her personality that she is deeply proud of. However, Marisol and Esteban don't seem to appreciate passion or hard work! The superficial cheerleader is incredibly materialistic and her younger brother isn't much better.

Hildebrandt

The Hildebrandt’s have quite the reputation as an upstanding family. A surgeon and a dean, Richard and Claire are professionals in their fields. Claire set high expectations for Monique; the girl tries her best to reach them even as they overwhelm her. Richard didn’t hesitate to take in his nephew Trevor after his sister died, but the rest of the family seems unsure about this roguish new houseguest. With the exception of Thaddeus of course, who’s just excited to have someone to play with.

Gaston

These aging lovers are ready to enjoy their golden years. Lynette recently retired from her job as a schoolteacher and now spends her days focusing on her pastimes, fabricating new creations for her loved ones. Jodie was eager to leave the police force and join her wife in times of leisure; that is until Lynette’s niece moved in to be close to school. Having missed the chance to have her own children, Lynette loves having Violet around. But Violets’ flaky habits are causing problems with Jodie.

2) If you could meet anyone on this earth, who would it be?

Bill Murray. I feel like no one would believe me though but I can say I met a comedic legend.

3) What is something you're terrible at but wish you could do well?

If I’m being very honest I have to say cooking. Sometimes I’ll read “my hubby made me the perfect dinner” as I look at perfectly prepared steak and vegetable dinner. In my experience women usually love when men can cook so if I could do well with that it would only be a positive experience. I’m more of a “hey I got you your favorite pint of ice cream from the store” kinda guy to watch with your show.

4) What do you think about most?

If life will ever go back to some sort of “normalcy”, will the Phillies sign any starting pitchers soon, what am I going to have for dinner after work?.

5) What modern invention are you grateful for the most?

Caller ID! What an absolutely amazing invention. I let the phone ring, I look at the ID, and I say to myself “not today!”

6) Do you have any strange phobias?

I am not a fan of wasps. Ever since I was a kid I would avoid them any way necessary.

7) What’s your religion?

Catholic.

8) If you are outside, what are you most likely doing?

Walking or listening to music.

9) What’s one thing you hope never changes?

The happiness dogs give you when you come home every day!

10) What was the last concert you saw before the pandemic?

Motion City Soundtrack last January!

Yes, so don’t be a bad person.

12) What is one childhood memory that you remember especially well?

Going to games with my dad and brother at Veterans stadium to watch the late 90s Phillies bad terrible baseball.

My greatest weakness is probably procrasanation. My greatest strength is being there for someone when they need help or support.

Anna Kendrick, she always catches my attention because she’s so damn pretty.

I don’t believe in aliens but I guess I believe in ghosts.

When someone gives me any kind of verbal praise that usually makes me feel pretty good especially when I know I’m appreciated.

Camden, NJ stranded in a sketchy neighborhood where drugs deals were being done directly in the corner next to my friend’s broken down car.

Any traits that are artistic because when it comes to that I possess no traits whatsoever unless you’re looking for someone to make you a good stick figure then I’m your guy.

The meaning of life is what you make it. It’s about the choices you make and the people you affect.

Very. It’s an instantaneous head to shoulder clamp down whenever someone touches my neck with their fingers. That shit drives me into fits of laughter quickly.

Logic - No Pressure ALBUM REVIEW

Logic receives an unnecessary amount of hate. You simply can’t deny his ability to rap his ass off. I do understand certain criticisms about him but most of the time it’s people saying he’s always talking about being biracial which was literally just a few songs one album and referencing that album on other songs. Although I’m a huge fan, Logic’s recent releases haven’t really gone over too well with me. Aside from a few songs, Confessions Of A Dangerous Mind was a major dud and I hated the Supermarket soundtrack but I didn’t read the book that it’s connected to so my criticisms of that album aren’t really valid. The last Logic album I loved was YSIV which was definitely a return to form from some of the wack stuff that was on Bobby Tarantino II. I respect Logic for trying to do different things but most of the time, it didn’t end up working that well. When I saw the title and cover for No Pressure, I felt both excited and worried. I was excited to see Logic working with No ID again who executive produced his first album, Under Pressure. Seeing song titles like Growing Pains 4 and Soul Food II also excited me. I was worried because if this is indeed his last album, I did’t want Logic to end on a bad note, which he definitely doesn’t because this album is excellent. The intro did a great job setting the tone for the project where Logic is just spitting. I love Hit My Line a lot, especially the production. That drum break is the same one that Tyler, The Creator used for IGOR’S THEME. This leads me to one of the criticisms I see about Logic where people claim he’s a biter. I have seen some similarities in the production of Logic songs that sound like other people’s songs but Hip Hop is a genre where people constantly use the same samples as other artists and every artist puts their own spin on them. Logic definitely shows us who his influences are as Under Pressure was heavily influenced by Kendrick Lamar and you can hear the Kanye West influence in his production style. Logic doesn’t necessarily have a signature sound but he does have a signature rap style that has influenced a lot of younger rappers. It’s weird to me that when a rapper like Kendrick shows how well he can try doing other artists’ sounds like with DAMN., he gets praised but when Logic does something similar, he gets shat on. I do understand it because DAMN. is miles above the Bobby Tarantinos but the criticism shouldn’t just apply to Logic. Speaking of sampling, you can hear the samples of OutKast’s Elevators and SpottieOttie as well as Tarika Blue’s Dreamflower which is most known for being sampled on Erykah Badu’s Didn’t Cha Know. I also saw this as an homage to J. Cole who is one of Logic’s favorites as Cole used the same sample for Too Deep For The Intro. I’ve said this in many of my other reviews but the only criticism I have about this album is that I don’t love it when artists use such a legendary sample and don’t do enough to it to make it your own. It’s not that big of an issue though because GP4 and man i is are great songs and Logic got his start by rapping over old school hip hop beats and making them sound new again on the Young Sinatra mixtapes so I thought it was similar to that. Logic’s rap style has always consisted of great flows but on this album, we get some of the best and most creative punchlines that he’s ever come up with. On Soul Food II, Logic returns to the slightly reworked beat of Soul Food from Under Pressue to give us some sick bars while also showing us how his outlook on the rap game has changed so much since part 1. One of my favorites lines on the song is “feeling close to the cliff, like Rick Dalton in the booth,” which references Once Upon A Time In Hollywood directed by Tarantino, who is one of Logic’s biggest inspirations. Another great scheme was when he said “livin' my life backward like Tariq on Undun / And now they wonder how I got over son (Do you want more?)” Super clever because it ties in three album titles from The Roots, specifically Undun which brilliantly tells a story in reverse order (classic imo). One thing I also love about this song is that it recaps, reveals and clarifies more information about the story of Thomas and Kai from The Incredible True Story and what happened in the story since that album has dropped. DadBod is one of my favorite songs on the album because it’s a more mature Logic and shows his current life instead of reflecting on his past one and also explains his reason for retiring. The hook is so laidback and doesn’t sound forced at all. I also love the Pac Div shoutout. On this song, he talks about his married life and fatherhood and the line he had where he said “I love my wife like I am Chance” made me laugh out loud. The third verse of this song stands out for multiple reasons. He raps, “They say that that boy done changed / He don't rap about his everyday life, he ain't the same / Goddamn, already had a hard life once / Am I supposed to recreate it every album for you cunts?” I love it when rappers show growth and progression and don’t talk about the same things over and over unless they choose to of course which is also fine with me but I also loved how he was basically like you want my everyday life? Here you go, here’s my day where I feed my son and shop at Target and then says “Is this want you wanted, everyday life material? / I'm not a kid anymore and be sure shit's boring.” I love the song 5 Hooks. The chopped up Toro y Moi sample was fantastic and he started it off with “It's what you all been waitin' for, ain't it? / This No Pressure shit kinda got us reacquainted” which is so true because this is the album that the day one Logic fans have been waiting for and this is the album we wanted. The line where he said “No I.D. my mentor, but it's time for the story’s end" as opposed to “let the story begin” really hit me too. The beat switch was hard and I loved his verse and the way he was flowing on there too. Dark Place was an interesting change of pace and it also explained his other reasons for retirement which is that he was depressed and lost his confidence in himself. Being scrutinized all the time for no reason takes a toll on a person. He also talked about how the criticism affected his love for making music and why he doesn’t go on social media. He talked about this on the Confessions title track but it brought me back to a line on Aquarius III where he said “Off the internet, that's when I'm at my happiest / Scrolling so much, my thumb fucked up / We call that carpal tunnel vision.” I have never found rhyming letters impressive unless you find a really creative way to do it and that’s what he did with A2Z. I was not disappointed at all. Logic is not the first rapper to use the entire alphabet in a song but he may have done it the best. Both Heard Em Say and Amen made for an amazing send off if it is indeed the end of Logic’s rap career (I sincerely doubt it). One thing that was super interesting to me about Amen and Obediently Yours is that it’s supposed to be Ultra 85 which Logic had been teasing as his final album for many years. These two songs being Ultra 85 or Ultra 85 being the end to Thomas and Kai’s story as well as Logic’s rap career makes perfect sense to me. No Pressure is everything I wanted Logic’s final album to be, especially because it’s called No Pressure. It’s definitely one of his best albums to date and made for a worthy sequel and final album.

He is very disagreeable with this concept even though he and his brother were wild rogues in the past. Grant Kendrick is also the dullest man in Scotland in Kathleens’s eyes. Yet after they are attacked by highwaymen he plans to show her a different side of himself and open his heart. Again Vanessa Kelly pens another Kendrick novel that totally captured my heart. I loved the free spirited heroine that follows her own tune and couldn’t care less about society and their suffocating rules. I was also captivated by her tender heart for the ones she loved. She knew she was being a wee bit naughty, but would never hurt anyone in the process. She was only enjoying life to the fullest degree, that some closed minded individuals would call a kook, eccentric, or crazy. People called Albert Einstein by these same exact names! Of course the Kendrick’s are hilarious again, especially the matchmaking Grandfather Angus who I always adore and is a definite scene stealer in every Kendrick book! Jeannie reminded me of myself as I too was bratty and self absorbed as many teenagers are. My mother always told me she wanted to give me away when I was fifteen, so her antics I thought were hilarious and was a great addition to this tale.

The heroine, Kathleen just wanted to take life by storm and enjoy every wonderful moment life has to offer. This was so beautiful and eloquently written in a articulate manner, which is also impressive, that was absolutely extraordinary. The chemistry between Grant and Kathleen was like a moth to a flame, which was truly beautiful. I absolutely could not get enough of the story and highly recommend it,
