OKAY back and with dinner so I shall now give my full thoughts... or like most of my thoughts anyhow !

General: I thought it was just perfect after reading all about Hu Tao’s character story beforehand, and I think that definitely enhanced the whole experience for me! A lot of her actions, while on the surface seem to be pranks, actually have a lot of thought to it, which highlights how she runs her business: funloving front but solemn inside. And I think that final scene in the “border” highlights that too, even if it’s just a glimpse, when she tells the traveler to step away while Big G and Meng say their final goodbyes. 

What I really liked too though was by going to the border, I think I could really see more of where Hu Tao comes from. Her everyday of coming to visit the border, you meet the spirits who have passed but still yearn for the living, such as the lady who waits at the border for when her loved ones pass on or even the guy who just arrived. Being able to meet those kinds of people, it just shows that the spirits are just ordinary humans, and with how casual they are (the conversation between one guy and an old man about another passing on), it really feels like even when death comes, it isn’t anything to be afraid of. Hence why Hu Tao is the way she is, even if a part of that is just for business lol 

I do like though that at the end of the quest, they mention the whole Funeral Parlor Director position because I’m sure that for people who haven’t read up on Hu Tao that might catch their eye and highlight more that Hu Tao loves her job and was just meant for it! Though it makes me wonder... by leaving the quest there, does that mean there is a possibility to meet the former funeral parlor directors? After all, she does mention something about “summoning spirits from beyond the border”. Wouldn’t know what kind of situation would require such a thing but... I’m excited to see where the rest of her story goes! 

Whatever the case, I’m just beyond happy I got a chance to play it! It’s pretty much all I expected for Hu Tao’s character story and more so I’m just a big mushpile over this lovely ghost girl hahah

#also i figure this was probably supposed to be played before 1.4 oopsies #since ig the traveler was supposed to be looking for their twin at the border #which is pretty morbid and sad #but nonetheless ! #it was interesting #though i wonder... what does 'beyond the border' limit to? #i mean then again she hasnt really proved she CAN #it could just be another one of her pranks for all we know since well #she said the whole ley line was a summoning but it wasnt and she was just trying to prove a point #my favorite thing though is that she's a lot more grounded than you take her for! which makes me very :) #because most people play her off as weird or whatever but shes just as grounded in reality as anyone else #what else can i expect from a girl who wants nothing but to love and live life ? #for hu tao #anyways i screamed a lot about hu tao today im so sorry >-< #i just got real excited bc it was the first good day in a while!! #but im super pooped now ngl lol #again death talk is always super hard #im sure i have more solemn thoughts rattling in my head regarding all this? but thats what i have rn ! #maybe itll come back to me another day #oh wait i think i have some character stories i just unlocked too... #so... maybe im NOT done screaming yet but ... yeah #genshin impact notes

aww I’m glad you’re settling in well!! proud of you, you’ve worked hard <3 also don’t worry about getting emotional (small secret between you and me 🤫: I still get emotional whenever my mum drops me off at school sksk I always have to hold back light tears and I’m like, snap out of it!she’s just dropping you off at school?? 😭) I’m glad you’re getting a day to relax, moving is tuff :(( so getting a day to chill will be super fun!! make sure to drink lots of water!! I saw that you said it was really hot :(((

ahhh well, my weekend’s been fine!! I’m gonna be scheduling my appointment for my vaccine next week. (kinda nervous ngl 😅) but other than that, I haven’t been doing much. I’ve been having some trouble falling asleep these days :( idk why but it’s so annoying bec I’m sleeping most of the day and then I feel so exhausted when I wake up, so I’m trying my best to get my sleep schedule back on track!! hopefully it can 😭 today I watched some sports which was fun!! Umm what else have I done 😅 OH!!! and im starting a small personal project (im writing a book ;) hehe) kinda nervous about that one too akdjdj but I think it’ll be great to take up some of my time and to have fun - 🐺

also AH so many of you guys are getting the vaccine and it makes me really happy knowing you'll have the peace of mind u need after all of these months of this :( the first dose u should be fine and i'm sure you've heard this so many times already, but just take it easy after your second dose !!!! not everyone feels like poop but i sure did :') and ;____; you're having trouble sleeping?? do you have something to listen to before u fall asleep? i know it's not for everyone and i've said this a million times but it's gotten to the point where i absolutely NEED to listen to asmr to fall asleep LOL ; another good thing to do to get u more sleepy is to just have a solid night routine, like try and do the same thing every night at the same time so u tell ur body "alright dude it's time to get sleepy" ya know? i hope u find something that works for u bub :(( ALSO ?????? OMG UR WRITING A BOOK WHAT THE HECK !!!!!!! ??????? that's literally so amazing oh my gosh ?? IM SO HAPPY FOR U !!!!! what will it be about hun? also again i'm sorry for being super late and i hope u have a good day /night hun okay?? love u !!!!!!!!! <3
