Atem with his own body

Atem getting to try all kinds of modern foods and discovering he likes sweets or spicy things, discovering he hates the texture of jello and absolutely loves milkshakes. Atem getting to go grocery shopping every week with Yugi and enjoying the domesticity of creating their shopping list. Yugi making Atem dinner and, after some trial and error, Atem making them breakfast.

Atem getting to experience going to the beach and seeing a sunset and being held by his partner, going to the arcade with his friends and playing duel monsters all in his own body.

Atem getting to feel the warmth of the sun on his skin again and getting to feel the chill of his first winters snow. Atem getting to see the autumn leaves change colors and jumps in big piles of leaves, firmly grasping his partner's hand. Atem discovering he is absolutely not built for the cold and having to bundle up everytime Yugi takes him out in the winter but loving how Yugi's eyes light up with every snowfall. Yugi convincing Atem to make snow angels with him before being dragged inside to bundle up around the fire, sipping hot cocoa and listening to soft music.

Atem going to a club and drowning in the loud bass, the flashing lights, the heat of all the bodies around him. Atem firmly glued to Yugi's side as they navigate the dance floor. Atem mesmerized by the writhing bodies and turning to see Yugi absolutely thriving, in his element and looking breathtaking in the dark room with the flashing lights, moving to the music and captivating Atem's every thought until he can't help himself and he has to lean on him, has to move with him. Atem discovers he enjoys dancing. But he especially enjoys dancing with Yugi.

Atem completely overwhelmed by all the feelings and sensations and hot and cold and sharp and soft after 3000 years of nothing. Atem getting easily overstimulated by all the bright lights and loud sounds of the modern world. Atem burying his face against yugis neck to hide. Atem brushing his lips over yugis pulsepoint to feel the warmth of it, his rushing blood, his beating heart. Atem running his fingers through yugis hair, feeling the soft strands (probably coated in copious amounts of hairspray.) Atem getting to experience yugis touch for the first time. Atem getting to kiss Yugi properly.

Okay okay listen! Not Me au inspired by these Cravity films where the gang + the girls all suddenly start developing superpowers triggered by some cosmic incident and feel drawn to each other (they're all strangers/acquaintances)!!

Sean sees things that are important to someone when he touches them and he keeps seeing White from Black but he doesn't get why Black's precious thing is himself in glasses and cute outfits.

Meanwhile, Black has spent years researching the supernatural with the help of a mysterious garage owner who Knows Too Much to be a regular person, trying to figure out how to break the connection between himself and his twin permanently so he can be sure he won't get White hurt in his one-man crusade against their corrupt overlords. This new healing ability is distracting him from his Very Important Business. Also, the annoying idiot that's moved into Hia Kumpha's spare room keeps giving him weird looks that make Black want to commit violent acts.

do u ever think about how differently the crane wives incite the devil across their work. like in rockslide "the devil" just represents death. in october it's more the typical, theological sort of devil. in curses the devil is a personification of evil incarnate, or of bad luck. in the garden, the narrator's acquaintence w the devil implies she's done some morally questionable stuff
