Laszlo Cravensworth is such an incredibly interesting character to me because he's wildly intelligent and kind and does everything he does for a completely understandable reason and you know why he would never choose to do the things he does in any other way but he's also an incorrigible fuck up of a man and all of his choices are wrong

#the apprentice casts out another thought #laszlo cravensworth #wwdits #what we do in the shadows #watching the last half of season three really cemented this for me #watching it knowing what he's thinking and what he's going to do about it drives me fucking insane #because he was always going to hide what happened to Colin Robinson. he was always going to send Guillermo to London with Nadja. #there is nothing on earth that would have changed his mind and dare i say he was even doing the right thing in a way #because he knew Nadja was excited about the trip and would be protected with Guillermo #and he knew he couldn't leave CR alone #and he knew that he couldn't really take CR on the trip #but instead of telling anyone this he locks Guillermo in a box dooms Nadja to anger and panic and lets Nandor be abandoned #because he doesn't have another option. nobody would care about Colin Robinson enough. except for him. #he did everything he could to do what was right #and it was still wrong because now his wife is going to kill him and he's fucked up his friend's relationship #laszlo is selfless in so many ways but it still comes off as intense selfishness #or maybe i'm just thinking too hard about funney vampire show.
