Yes, it matters. Yes, these are very different works. You’re probably doing this for visibility; I don’t care. Archive Of Our Own is a fucking archive, stop labeling your works with a tag you know is factually incorrect. It makes it impossible for me to filter for fics I want to read.

welp. i had to stop the antibiotic for my sinus infection because i Am indeed allergic to it and it keeps giving me anaphylaxis so yeah executive decision was made that i shouldn’t risk it :( i’m so frustrated and i’m really starting to feel sick to a point that i could collapse at any moment

#literally had a guy from work i see everyday stop in his tracks and ask me if i’m okay #and i purposefully put on mascara today to mask how horrible i feel #sometimes my sinus pain/pressure and migraines get so severe that i think i would rather just. keep taking the antibiotic #because even though that horrible indescribable dread during anaphylaxis #it’s such a scary horrible sickening feeling like it’s so distinct idk but idk…it eventually goes away #the pain doesn’t unless i finish the whole course of antibiotics #this is so fucking frustrating and i’m so tired i don’t have time #i’m scared i’m going to get pneumonia again #i won’t even be able to go to #the appointment they’re scheduling for me tomorrow until at least tomorrow night and that’s if they even have that #otherwise i’ll have to wait til saturday #god by then i’ll be miserable #i’m so drained and it felt like friday all day for some reason but it’s not ugh #random probably delete later just so annoyed

Listen for all intents and purposes Izuku doesn’t have a dad and All Might stepping in and filling that role for him is so important to me, especially telling Izuku he’s proud of him. I think MHA is my favorite subversion of the Your Mentor Must Die trope because Toshinori decides he has to live because Izuku needs him and then he just does it. Like a boss. This is how you show up for a child!!!

And on the flip side Mitsuki Bakugo repeatedly hitting her son in front of his teachers?!! I don’t know how I never noticed that before but yeesh. I figured there was some verbal and emotional abuse from that scene but apparently I was never fully watching because yeah, she full-on hits her kid :/ and his dad just sits there and let’s it happen??!?

my brain is mush so i cant write prose but do know that i as usual am thinking about best friend dynamics and caretaking dynamics, and the way they integrate in beau and bobby’s relationship arc, and what it means to not just require increasing levels of daily care but to receive it from the person who’s always been your peer, the same guy you grew up with and experienced teenagehood and adolescence with, and now you need him in a vulnerable way you never expected to need from anyone, and how them being best friends shapes that caretaking dynamic in both positive and negative ways, but ultimately in the end it integrates with that friendship and deepens their bond in a way nobody could understand but just them

#it’s actually sooo interesting to me like they have beef about it at first #guy who doesn’t want to admit he needs help + guy who gets anxiously obsessive about giving that help literally recipe for disaster #but once they figure it out it works SOOO well!!!!! #but even when it does work so well and bobby believes he’s the luckiest person ever to get looked after by someone like beau it’s still #something that changes them. like there’s inherently a new dynamic that’s not as equal even if they treat it as such #like the amount of trust bobby has to instill in beau and the trust beau has to have in himself #sometimes he does not get it right!! but it’s okay because they have to figure out what’s best together #also I think there’s a flip side to this where beau needs bobby + bobby is seeing HIM in an extremely vulnerable state too #but on the surface bobby is the more ‘vulnerable’ one and that’s an interesting thing that #reshapes what was otherwise just two 21 year old friends #who read all that!!!! #I’m actually so passionate about it ugh it’s almost like I took care of a loved one in my personal life and now it’s my day job
